Rumour has it that Rangers' potential buyer is considering pulling out due to the number of key players that could potentially leave in the summer and Ellis is not willing to allow more than a 10 million transfer budget. The players in question include Boyd, McGregor, Bougherra, Davis, Wilson, Weir, Papac, Miller and Lafferty, with at least 6 of these players (Boyd, Wilson, Bougherra, McGregor, Weir and Papac) certain to leave in addition to fringe players like Steven Smith and Andreas Velicka who are actively seeking moves away from the club. It is thought that losing important players would greatly affect the possibility of silverware owing to lack of quality and squad depth and therefore Ellis now believes investment into the club is too much of a risk to take.

Norwich are looking to bolster their strikeforce for next season. Spurs will buy Chris Martin for £3m, payment will come in the form of Adel Taarabt plus £1m. Martin's replacement will be Anthony Stokes from Hibs for £1m.
Jamie Cureton will be released, however Lee Hughes will be brought in as cover from Notts County.
Fraser Forster will return on loan from Newcastle in goal for Norwich. Forster will compete with David Crawford, who will sign from Alloa Athletic, for the number one jersey next term.

I have heard that ellis will have control of glasgow rangers by 15th may and will offer mr smith a £10m transfer kitty which will mostly be used on contract renewals depending who leaves and as rangers will be bought there will be no need to sell unless the player wants to leave . i do believe as rangers are short onsquad players i think 2 defenders are reuired and a decent winger with a bit of trickery . also boyd to stay 50/50 he was told at january when offered deal that if a offer came in for him he would be sold .

Paul Lambert of Norwich City is looking too bolster his League One Championship winning team with mainly attackers. He is very interested in Sheffield Wednesdays Jermaine Johnson, and Crystal Palace Darren Ambrose. Having spoken to both clubs already the news is that Wednesday will be happy to let Johnson go at the right price. On the table Lambert is thinking of offering 300k and the services of Luke Daley & Paul McVeigh for one season.
Palace however are not looking too sell Ambrose but Lambert may be given more funds by the board in order to try and lure them too sell.
Others on his shortlist are: Ian Harte, Vincent Pericard, Adam Le Fondre, & Stwarz Katortion of Wisla Krakow and Freddie Eastwood.
Should some of these deals go through, to enable this, on the way out will be Jamie Cureton, George Francomb, Anthony McNamee and Michael Rose & Stephen Elliots loan deals will not be made permanent.
However, top on Lamberts list is Fraser Forster but Newcastle feel he could be their Number 2 next year and unlikely too let him go.
I am not a Norwich fan but work near Colney and this is 100% the truth.

MAN UTD wonder striker DANNY WELBECK will join FULHAM in a 12 month loan deal.
ROY HODGSON is a long term admirer of the player and see's WELBECK as a perfect strike partner/replacement to BOBBY ZAMORA and is discussing terms with Danny over the next few days.
This may upset Fergie Jr at PRESTON NORTH END who was also expecting to sign the player.
WELBECK see's this as an opportunity of playing in the prem with a manager like HODGSON as too good a chance to miss and will turn to the club to make his name.

People keep posting ridiculous rumours that are blatantly obvious that it won't happen and untrue.
Liverpool FC – Torres will not go to Chelsea for £70 million nor will Gerrard leave. There's been a lot of talk of Rafa going, but his agent insists that he's staying, so don't get your hopes up.
Chelsea FC. Not too many changes, depending on if they win the league. ( Obviously will ) so if they do, Ancolotti will probably keep more or less the same players. Maybe 2/3 to be added, to toughen up the squad for the champions league.
Man City – Kaka will not be joining them even if they get the champions league spot, but expect them to spend big on world cup players and the crazy price tags.
Arsenal FC – Chamakh FREE. He talked about it openly so that's a done deal. Expect Wenger to get 2/3 players max. depending on who leaves. The only uncertainty is Gallas as he has not signed a new contract. Arshavin will NOT leave, he said that he'll show the arsenal fans his best next season, so that clearly shows he's staying. Eduardo will NOT leave too. And nor will Fabregas to Barca nor Clichy.

Rafael Benitez is said to want assurances over transfer budgets and structure of the club before deciding whether to stay or leave Liverpool. As a Liverpool fan, I would like him to stay as long as he has the support of the board and players. As a fan, I want to see the Liverpool of last season, where we were actually good to watch, this year Rafa has been too defensive and this will need to change if we want to be in the top four challenging for the league.
What Rafa has been told I hear is concentrate on attracting Bosman signings for now, whilst the ownership is up in the air – where as Rafa wants to bid for players whose value will rise after the World Cup – Van Der Vaart in particular. Benitez is looking to Dida (Milan) to replace the departing Diego Cavalieri (To Brazil or Portugal – £4m). As a big Saints fan, I find some of the rumours posted on here over the top and laughable. As much as I would love to see the likes of Darren Ambrose join the club, why would any player capable of playing at a decent level drop down a league. The fact we are lucky enough to have a rich owner, does not mean we can attract any player we want.As for David Wheater, I do not think so.
I am not in the know, but I think we have a chance of signing Brian Stock, because a lot of his family live in Hampshire.

Guys, get realistic about United. Have a little faith in SAF and realise that this was a year when SAF had to blood youngsters and decide on who to keep and who to sell for the next great team (something ive posted time and time again). SAF's interviews should make ppl realise that some players are gonna be leaving for sure. and given the fact that United have been signing unexpected players over the years its not going to be any big superstars this summer at OT, except maybe a striker

To the idiot who said this.
Norwich defender Gary Doherty is out of contract in the summer and will move to Plymouth once it expires, he was going to move in Januray but decided he wanted to see out his Norwich contract first.
Gary Doherty was voted in the team of the season. He is only 30 years old which for a centre half is not bad. I'll admit he isn't the fastest but he has chipped in half a dozen goals this season, playing exclusively as a centre half and not a centre forward as he did in his earlier career.
Another point is that Gary has only played for Luton, Spurs and Norwich which would mean he has probably wouldn't move hundreds of miles to play for Plymouth. If he was to go look at maybe Peterborough or MK Dons.
I don't know anything about any possible investment but the owner of Asia Airways Tony Fernandes has popped up a lot in the past.

Heard from a very reliable source within the emirates that carlos vela will either be joining fulham or bolton on loan in the summer. partly because eduardo won't be leaving and the fact that chamakh has just confirmed he will be joining the emirates, meaning vela will probably get no playing time at all, all season unless a injury crysis accurs.

Regarding the Zarate/LFC rumour, the comment
"The biggest surprise will be the signing of Mauro Zarate. A clause in his contract has stated that since he has been left out of the team so often, he will be allowed to leave on a FREE. However he will demand a signing on fee of around 6mil"
I don't know how many games zarate has played this year but any "established" player who plays less than 10% of the competitive games his team plays is allowed to rip up his contract under FIFA rules.
In part its to stop restraint of trade whereby players in duispute with their club get left in the reserves.

First of all, who ever said that Welbeck is leaving Man Utd is sorely mistaken. SAF wants to mould him into becoming the new Wayne Rooney. Luka Modric will not join Man Utd this summer because SAF is looking to use the money from the Berbatov transfer to buy a new striker.

Liverpool are lining up bids for 6 British players if they get funds from new investors. For the first team, it is just Alan Hutton (4.5mil) and Gary Cahill (14.5mil). For the reserce and youth team, they want Danny Wilson (2.5mil) Connor Wickham (3.5mil rising to 5mil) and a 7mil (rising to 10mil) move on Wigan duo James McCarthy and Victor moses but Liverpool are prepared to see the 2 of them remain at Wigan next season. Shelvey has already signed of course.

If Jose leaves inter then he will be heading to real but only under conditions that he has full controll of his transfers. If accepted his main target is no other than stevie g who he tried to sign every transfer window for Chelsea, also had enquired about signing during his time at inter but gerrard made it clear Italy was a no go. Don't know if gerrard would go BUT if he does then where does that leave liverpool?? Reina. Remember gerrard stating reina will make a great team captin then pepe signing a new contract. Torres. What a load of rubbish this really is. Let's get this straight once and for all. When the season is over and decisions have been made regarding the ownership of the club, then and only then will the players futures be decided. There is no way that any of Liverpools stars will leave until the sale of the club is complete. Much like Birmingham did last year, Forest will be investing in and making bids for the top performers in the Championship in order to increase the squad size, rather than just one or two marquee signings. There is about to be a transfer merry go round between Manchester United, Tottenham and Everton:–
1. It has all started with United's interest in Luka Modric. Discussions are moving in the right direction with both parties looking at about 18–20mil plus ben foster deal.

Carrick looks set to be moving on and might make the shift to Arsenal as AW likes his style of play. The fee would be around about £11 million. Tosic will definitely leave. Blackburn and Rangers are both interested in his services. £5–6 million would do the trick which prices Rangers out of the move. Neville, Scholes and Giggs have no intention of retiring. Foster will probably leave for West Ham, with Robert Green on the move, a £6 million move will probably be enough. Berbatov will probably be on his bike (finally) with AC Milan and Valencia both interested in a move which would cost them £18–23 million. Owen and Brown might leave for £7 million and £8 million respectively. £61 million to spend now.
Dzeko and Benzema are being looked at as potential strikers. £17 million and £19 million respectively. Frey for £11 million, is a likely target, as is Defour for £8 million.
