U REDS RUMOURS – Forest's First Signing?
Forest chances of signing Neil Lennon have taken a real blow as Lennon's agent has played down talks they are in negotiations with the club and several Premiership clubs are interested.
However its believed that Northampton player Jason Crowe is looking to join up with former team mate Luke Chambers and manager Colin Calderwood at Forest. The signing will be announced some time during the week.
Don't be fooled that Sheffield Wednesday don't have money to spend, and that Brian laws is blowing the Bougherra money on Billy Sharp.
The new owners (the deal will be concluded in the next few weeks) have given Laws around £5m to spend.
I understand that Laws wants Sharp&Kenwyne Jones as his strike partnership. Expect some movement on this happening this week.
Other deals happening in the next 2 weeks are:
Lee Grant– Derby (released)
Richard Hinds– Scunny
Yousef Safri– Norwich
Stephen Jordan– Man city (released)
Laws is also working on getting Neil Alexander in as his 1st choice goalkeeper.
Finally, if Chris Brunt is tempted by Wigan, West Ham or Reading. expect Laws to get Kris Commons from Notts Forest.
With Arsenal in desperate need for a goal–poacher, but still relatively strapped for cash, Arsene Wenger will go in for Roda JC's Andres Oper, who has been watched by Arsenal scouts since he was 20 years–old. Oper is also an Estonian international, but is likely to miss Wednesday's clash against England through injury.
Portsmouth are after utaka (rennes–5M), ljungberg (Arsenal–free), Diarra (Lyon–3M), riga mustapha (levante–2.7M), also another striker thought to be yakubu may join. mvuemba may join on a swap deal with niko kranjcar.
lualua may be sold, kanu and todorov won't sign contracts. and if ljungberg etc are bought in Davis will leave
Reading keeper Marcus Hahnemann will return the USA this summer to either LA Galaxy or Dc United.
Tim Cahill and Andy Johnson to West Ham for £20 mil. Everton fans your in Europe get over it. Didn't know it was such a big deal for a huge club like yours getting into Europe. Shouldn't you be in it every year?
Shay Given will be announced as Newcastle club captain after Parker exits next week
Celtic will confirm the signings of zenden, Bellamy and Fowler by the end of the week, also look out for Celtic bidding for a top dutch star! mcentee!
Thierry Henry will join Barcelona for £16 million in the next month. Samuel Eto'o will not be part of the deal. It will be a straight cash move. Barcelona will be forced to offload Saviola whilst Eto'o is likely to be on the move. Henry will pair up with Ronaldinho at the Nou Camp whilst Gudjohnson is likely to stay.
The has bean alot of rumours about the future of Andy Robinson at Swansea and Tranmere have suppose to have made a £250,000 for the midfielder.
I was at a fund raiser for Portsmouth kids today run by oki the pfc sponser, sol campbell is going to Newcastle, put your house on it

Matthew Etherington could be signing for Sunderland for about £2m. He has been seen outside the Academy of Light and also at the dogs in Sunderland
Emile Heskey will make a £5m move this week to Portsmouth after being seen house hunting in the Fratton area.
Joey Barton is off to SPL giants Celtic
Torres will be at Anfield next year along with Malouda and the only deal Man United will do after the massive double sweep will be a young French player for the reserves.
J. J Rumours
Well its been quiet of late for Arsenal as Arsene Wenger is on hoiday and is scheduled to return later this week. Although Arsenal have agreed £10 million to sign an Italian from sampdoria named Fabio Quagliarella, his 23 yrs old and a great prospect and Arsene will be sure to meet with the player to agree on personal terms later this week. I can say Arsenal officials are in Marseille, France thrashing out a deal for one of their stars, I'm afraid at this moment in time I am not allowed to the player but he is a long term target of the Gunners. You know I am reliable source and will keep you updated as soon as I get any more rumours.
Nottingham Forest are likely to snap up Neil Lennon despite a potential offer from Villa. Lennon is attracted to the Forest offer, as they have promised to help him work up to potentially becoming their manager.
Sunderland Transfer Rumours – 9 Rumours
1. From reports on Sky Sports Rumours on 02 June 07, Roy Keane has apparently tabled a £2m for Paul Scholes. The deal seems somewhat unrealistic due to his first team status, however with Owen Hargreaves arriving, the deal isn't an impossibility.
2. David Nugent has expressed his desire to play under Roy Keane, after he was snapped roaming around the Academy of Light with Niall Quinn and a senior member of staff. However, due to his commitment to join his local team Everton, the deal is not yet secure.
3. Matthew Etherington was rumoured to be with Dave Nugent in the Academy of Light with Niall Quinn. Although this has not been labelled as certain, Etherington seems to be a realistic target.
4. Neill Lennon has dismissed rumours he is willing to join Birmingham and Sunderland, but says he is still considering other offers and may be tempted in the near future. Reports suggest that he is willing to accept the Nottingham Forest offer, as a player–coach.
5. Roy Keane's is determined to capture the Irish defender Paul McShane. He believes he has on going talent and would replace the returned Jonathon Evans in the centre–back role. Zat Knight has also been linked with the centre–back vacancy, but the rumour has faded away in the weeks of late.
6. Jason Koumas is also in Keane's plan, but he faces stiff competition from Everton yet again. Keane believes that Whitehead and Koumas is a stable central partnership for a league of such calibre.
7. Zenden who was recentley released from Liverpool has been linked with Sunderland, but no reports yet by the media have been printed.
8. Sunderland have made an offer for Diego Forlan of Villareal, the deal is worth £8.5m, Keane seems committed to capture his signature.
9. Eidur GudJohnsen and Sami Hypia have denied they want to leave there clubs, Sunderland will NOT sign them.
whoever said they saw Craig Bellamy outside the Emirates are basically lieying unless he wanted to tour the Emirates to see what he can't have.

Hello, there. I am one of the executives at Sports World and regularly meet with Mike Ashley who is taking over Newcastle. Well as far as I understand, Mike Ashley will hire David Dein as director of football and Steve Walton, the ex Barclays board member, will become chief executive. He said that Sam Allardyce has David Rozehnal and Nigel Reo–Coker are his top targets. My mate is a friend of the St James' Park groundsman and apparently James Milner was being shown around Newcastle for the last time as his dissapointing season will be eneded with a move to Everton.
Joey Barton will sign for Newcastle next week, as Scott Parker moves to West Ham. Nigel Reo Coker is wanted by Aston Villa, Everton and Newcastle. Everton may try and interrupt a Newcastle bid for Barton.
Liverpool will sign:
RM Simao (next week) 13m

Fulham manager Lawrie Sanchez will revamp his strikeforce over the next three months, with Heidar Helguson, Collins John and Bjorn Runstrom all set to leave. Helguson will be used as a makeweight in a swap deal involving Marlon King, who will move to Craven Cottage in exchange for £1m and Helguson, who would be happy to return to Vicarage Road with Watford. John could be off to Middlesbrough, with Mark Viduka almost certain to leave Teeside this summer. Runstrom could end up just about anywhere as he has struggled to adapt to the Premiership. Leeds forward David Healy will complete a £900,000 move to the Cottagers as well following Leeds' woeful demise.
Rumours that are flying around at the moment suggest that a
loan deal for kenny duecher is all but complete and he will join the
fifers for the whole of next season, with a view to a permanent deal. also
Stevie crawford is a target for Barnsley/ st mirren and st Johnstone,
its unlikely that he will leave but they clubs mentioned are monitoring
also sol bamba WILL NOT be joning st mirren and will see out the
remainder of his contract with the fifers, with a view to extending if they
gain promotion next season.
dorus de vries has been linked with moves to Hibs/ Dundee United and
Swansea, but the latest rumour is Hearts will sell gordon and romanov sees de
vries as the ideal replacement.
also SK WILL NOT be leaving for Motherwell 100% true
It may surprise the world that Portsmouth are going to sign Eugen Polanski GermanyU21&Borrusia Monchengladbach and Mouarane Fellaini Belgium and Liege both about 18 years old also I hear that United owner the Glazer family aren't going to sell Man United yet they in full just about 45% of it the owners of said percentage are Chinese and willing to put up $50 million with an option of another 35million so Eto'o is on the way
All the LFC fans seem to be freaking out about a lack of signings, but the answer to that is very simple. The big names they will sign are mostly still battling in the Spanish league and noone wants a replay of the Werder Brehmen Klose story. Speaking of Klose, there's a chance he will come to LFC despite the interest from the Italian clubs. We're still chasing Alves, Villa, G. Milito, Eto'o, etc. but they are still in the Hunt for the Spanish title/ UEFA/ Champions League. That's why we're holding off on a bid for Malouda as we wait to see how these other signings turn out. Be patient LFC fans. You'll be very happy very soon.
Tottenham and West Ham to fight it out for Darren Bent with him eventually choosing Spurs. Jermain Defoe will then return to West Ham. West Ham also to bid 6million for Jagielka
Celtic will sign Man City midfielder Joey Barton in late Jume when he returns from his holidays. Celtic have already held informal talks wih him and he is excited to play in the Champions League.
It is understood Celtic will pay £5.5m or $4m and either Gravesen or Jarosik. And will sign him on a 4 year deal with the option of a 5th year for £35k a week.
Samuel Eto'o is talking to Liverpool about a 20 mil move in july and Harry kewel is joining Aston Villa on a 2 year contract
Im not going to sit here and write rubbish like my cousins sisters mum saw whoever at a cafe because that's clearly all boks. However I live a short walk away from Spurs lodge and have recentley seen Darren Bent being shown around, also I yesterday I spoke to an outraged jermain Defoe on his way out of the lodge, his car went speeding past but as he always does he stoped and signed a few autographs. When he stopped I asked him what was wrong and he told me he that Spurs had rejected a bid from his former club West Ham, he seemed keen on a move so there's a rumour to look out for.
All of u Arsenal fans posting rumors that arsnal will sign a new striker this summer are completely off the Mark the only thing Wenger is looking for is a new couple of midfielders and mabee a defender
this is because Wenger has barely any funds thanks too paying off the stadium and Henrys enourmas wages
take all this too the bank
To the guy that said cregg was going to Hearts as part of the Scottish 8. he is irish u tit!
dargo to Dundee utd, Jordi Holtkamp on trial with FalKirk.
FalKirk to play Barcelona b team.
Expect a midfield merry–go–round starting on Monday. Scott Parker's move to West Ham will trigger Reo–Coker's move to Villa. Steven Davis will then leave Villa for Fulham with Michael Brown joining Sheffield United. This paves the way for Jagielka to join Everton and Leon Osman to Man City. It will conclude with Joey Barton moving to Newcaste which should end the merry–go–round.
Liverpool Players in not yet announced
Eto (swap Alonso plus cash 10m)
Tevez (Season Loan with option to buy or straight buy 20m)
Simao (Cisse swap plus 4m cash)
a couple of Italian defenders being lookedat as cover for Agger Carra Milito should Sami decide to go
Two full backs will be signed, still putting names to these, Richards, Lahm, plus Spanish full backs who Rafa knows well are all options.
The rest of the signings will be youth players
Back Liverpool to win the Prem next season now before these are announced you have been told
Swindon town will make a double swoop next week to sign glenn murry of Rochdale and Phil jevons of Bristol City.
West Ham will sign Shaun Wright–Phillips for 12m,
and will also try to sign Darren Bent.
They are also trying to persuade Joey Barton to come to Upton Park as curbs wants Parker and Barton to replace Mullins and Reo–Coker.
Reo–Coker will sign for Aston Villa for around 8m.
Roy McKaay could be on his way to the Premiership. West Ham have had talks with the players agent. Elswehere a Premiership move is attracting Maxi Rodriguez.
SAF will sign a striker this year, however you can forget Torres, Eto, Huntelaar etc. He's after a young Irish lad he's had his eye on for a few years. This lad is only 24, has Premiership experience, and was one of the top scorers in the Premiership last season. SAF almost signed him when he was at Cork City, but didn't do and allowed him to go to a club who's manager (an ex United player) is very good at spotting young talent and improving their game.
If you haven't already guessed, it's Kevin Doyle. Should be signed for approx £5–6M.
Figo will sign for Spurs
Bellamy&Kewell will join Aston Villa
Mascherano&Tevez will play together again at Anfield next year, the deal will cost Liverpool 28m.
The Scott Parker deal will turn out to be a three–way deal.
Parker – Newcastle to West Ham
Reo–Coker – West Ham to Man City
Barton – Man City to Newcastle . but there will also be money involved somewhere.
Liverpool are set to sign either Eto'o or Tevez or Villa as their big name signing and may add to their growing strikeforce by swooping for Free transfer Javier Saviola.
Voronin, Crouch and Kuyt will complete next years strikers with Bellamy set to leave.
I have heard a strong rumour from my cousin who plays for Southampton youth team. He overheard Burley talking to Rasiak, Rasiak is off to Rangers in a 1.2 million deal. Saganowski will then be coming in for 1 million. Saints will then bid for John hartson of West Brom and a new centre back called Anthony Gardener who plays for Tottenham. The fee will be around 1.9 mill. Andrew Surman may be snapped up by Man United for 4.8 million and have been told he will then be loaned back to the saints for the next season!
WEST HAM ARE INTERESTED In BELLAMY SO EXPECT SWAP + CASH FOR TEVEZ
BENITEZ ALSO WANTS TORRES AND ETO BUT MAY BE ONLY ABLE TO AFFORD ONE FOR NOW.
SIMAO WILL SIGN BY END OF THE WEEK FOLLOWED BY MALOUDA. ALVES COULD ALSO SIGN BY NEXT WEEK.
Reading will lose Adam Federici (£1m to Wigan) and Marcus Hahnemann (£1m to VFB Stuttgart) and use the money to sign Sheffield United centre back Claude Davis.
Heard from a very good source, Leeds United will not be featuring in Div1 next season as they will not have got themselves out of administration in time, Papa Smurf will be dragged throught the courts by several people for lack of payments, the suggestion of £0. 01 for every £1 owed is disGuting.
See alll players being sold for pennies and monkey nuts.
mustaph will join West Ham for round about 4 mill 4rm levantae . also West Ham will make moves for Man United s kieron Richardson, Joey Barton and racing stantarder pair gonzalez and garay will all come to roughly 20 mill expect a few other foreign players to be joining whu soon
LOOK I don't know if it's just me or are the genuine people fed up of the some of people posting on this site. Yes it is a rumours site, but grow up! I'm fed up of: I said first that Nani will sign for Man United and I said first that Sidwell is going to Chelsea! So Fat#ing what! If I post all good young kids on football manger and someone signs them, does that mean that I posted them first then? I've posted many rumours on here that I believed that I could have been 1st to post but probably wasn't, does it make any difference? Rumours are just rumours, so as for my father's, uncle's, sister's, nephew's friend having conections, stop talking bull! Just post rumours nice and merrily and stop bitching about it kids! Let's make this site good like it used to be, with people like =v1= keep up good work m8! Let's all try to be more like this guy old school and no bull!
On a lighter note I am a Liverpool fan and would like to say well done to Man United for the class captures they have made! To answer question why we ain't made no signings yet is down to fact that our main targets are in Spanish league which is still on, when it's over players will be signed. I just hope that we get Tevez and Torres TnT! There I said TnT first so I'm going to copyright it. Ha Ha
Lots of love to everyone: Roger Moore
LFC: from a contact in Spanish radio – Eto'o is on the verge of signing for Liverpool, after they have closed La Liga season. The one stumbling block appears to be the price and the reluctance (I'm told) to let Alonso go as part of the package. It appears that Benitez has also made enquiries about striker Soren Larsen from Schalke 04.
My contact suggests that if Eto'o falls through, then Torres and Tevez weill be the strike force, which seems to suggest that Kuyt (a great worker and fans' favourite) may not be so happy.
Expect Besian Idrizaj and Jordy Brouwer to figure in the first team squad early on.
Darren Bent to sign 4 Spurs within the next few weeks along with Saviola this is garenteed
as Defoe plus medo are going out
Due to the 2. 6 billion vila have behind them, Villa boss Martin o'niell has opted to spend some of the cash on new transfers.
Bellamy (Liverpool) – 8–12m
Reo–Coker (West Ham) – 8–9m
Buroc (Celtic) – 4–6m
Luke young (Charlton) – 4–6m
these are not rumours. please see how wrong I am. we will sign at least 2 of those names!
A few Newcastle rumors. newcasle will not be signing Dean Ashton as many seem to think he is loved by the West Ham fans and for the moment enjoying his time there instead big sam will go for Marlon Harewood, anelka or Huntelaar this will take up most of big sams cash but he will go for a few foreign defenders and either j Barton or Reo Coker
Frank Lampard to make a sensational move to either Barcelona/ Real Madrid/ Liverpool, I am a Man United fan this is just what I have heard, I have been the part time physio at Blackpool for 2 years, kiegan Parker to sign a 4 year contract extention and Wes hoolahan to sign permantly, also tedy Sheringham could come in to partner Parker come on you tangerines, Premiership in the next 6 years here we go, syndicate rocks
Adriano could be headed for Manchester United if Ferguson fails in his Eto'o and Torres persuit
Spotted on Saturday afternoon in the Madejski Millenium Hotel was Nick Hammond (DOB), David Healy and two other gentleman.
This will please Alan Partridge!
Rumours abound that Fred and Fabiano are on the radar for MON. I have heard that Carew is going back to Valencia and will replace JC and JPA with these dynamic Brazilian firecrackers. I have also heard that Villa will sign Reo–Coker on Wednesday and either Kallastrom or Emana as playmaker. Craig Gordon is a cert but MON is scracting his head to find both a rightback and a quick centrehalf.
Rafael Benitez to quit Liverpool by the end of the month !
Benitez's initial optimism and excitemnet with the new owners (Gillett and Hicks) is slowly disappearing. They promised unprecedented support in the transfer market but Benitez fears that they are all talk.
Benitez's shopping list consists of Eto, Alves, Malouda, Milito and Simao and he was very confident of purchasing all 5, however the owners are refusing to be held to ransom by clubs wanted vastly increased fees:
Eto £40 millin
Alves £18 million
Malouda £17 million
Milito £11 million
Simao £16 million.
This has resulted in Benitez's having to alter his plans. His planned cull of old / under performing players must now stop. Initially he wanted to offload Hypia, Bellamy, Sissoko, Kewell, Risse, Crouch but now that his targets are sLipping away he knows he must keep these players.
This is going to come to a head by the end of the month when the only Liverpool signings at that stage will be 2 hungarian yongsters.
Benitez will leave Liverpool, as he did Valencia because of a lack of support. Remember what he said at Valencia "i asked for a table and they bought me a Lamp shade", ?
Unfortunately the new Liverpool owners probably wouldn't go that far, they would probably purchase an ashtray
In addition to this when Benitez goes, Gerrard will follow with a multi million pound tranfer to Barcelona, Real Madrid or AC Milan !
European cup finals will sadly be a thing of the past ! Roll on the Intertoto cup and mid table obscurity.
Celtic will make 4 more signings:
Freddy Adu – £3m
Michael Hart – £500k
Taylor Twellman – £1.2m
Joey Barton – £4m + Jarosik
TOTAL SUMMER ACTIVITY
IN = £13.1m
Hart – £500k
Brown – £4.4m
Barton – £4m
Adu – £3m
Twellman – £1.2m
McDonald – £700k
Killen – Free
OUT = £5.25m
Balde – £250k
Lennon – Free
Jarosik – Swap
Gravesen – £2m
Miller – £1.5m
Zurawski – £1m
Beattie – £500k
Alan Smith will sign for Rangers on Tuesday next week after a medical. Press conference Tuesday PM. FACT.
Mexican striker Carlos Vela will leave Arsenal this summer to join Reading on loan for the season.
I was in a hotel in Dublin yesterday, and saw Stan Petrov drinking coffee with Roy Keane, they both looked very relaxed. Petrov wants away from Villa, no question as to what they were talking about.
To the fuy who said Kevin Harper was on his way to Basle, I personally know Kevin and met him in Glasgow City center on Friday, he is still with Stoke and doesn't know where he is off to next so get your facts str8!
Roy Keane will try and tempt some of his former team–mates to Sunderland. A huge financial package is being lined up for Paul Scholes and he may be interested if he wants to end his career at United on a high. Also expect moves for Solskjaer and Giggs. The Forlan rumour is true but unlikely. More likely is a move for Celtic's Shunsuke Nakamura, another of Keanes former team–mates, who would cost around £6 million.
Everton will 100% sign the following players what ever the price may be.
some Steau Bucharest centre back
