to the celtic fan who rubbished reports of tom hunter giving money to rangers, obviousley not looked into this matter as tom hunter has heavily invested millions into rangers in the past and will more than likely do so again at some point.to transfers, the pretty much known duo of elmander and clement will sign within the next week, looking as though trialist chapuis will sign after netting in bounce game at murry park on saturday.plg is still mulling over moving for govou and is likely to sign givet to bolster the defence along with svensson and rodriguez

Derby County are to solve Stoke City's troubles with unsettled striker Bangoura by takig him to Pride Park for £750k.

----------Arsenal News-------------

Arsenal will tie up a deal for Mexican defender Salcido, Wenger had him watched at the Confederations Cup and his performances at the World Cup convinced him. Mascherano was picured in an Arsenal casual t-shirt before the World Cup. Expect ridiculous counter bids from Chelsea even though Jose has stated he only wants to work with 24 players, which he has. Yaya or Hargreaves will sign if Wenger gets outbid for Mascherano. The Juve situation could be huge, if they do get relegated Arsenal will make moves for Buffon and Thuram. Thuram would be the easiest to get, Wenger has tried to get him before and Thuam has massive respect for wenger.

MAN U

There is no room for Ronaldo to return to Manchester United. The incident with Rooney is the last straw.Ronaldo spent the whole season showcasing himself at the expense of the team. Why would SAF keep a man who refuses to give a pass in time and who prefers to fall out with everyone in the team.We the supporters of MAN U want a united team with humble but determined players.SAF should keep RVN and SAHA.We are also interested in knowing who is coming in.Now that the trouble child is on his way out lets have a better united tean and it can only come up now.SAF should stop playing wait and see.If you want to compare to Chelsea and the other top you must act now and convincingly. We are tired of being linked to the whole world. We want to see the signatures.Include therefore Ze Roberto.

Norwich will announce signings of Izale McLeod and Steve Howard within days. Johannes Djourou from Arsenal on season long loan. Also Worthington will stay now and sign Billy Jones and Gabriel Agbonlahor on loan as well for a season.

Now that the World Cup is all but over, there is a strong chance that Wigan Athletic manager Paul Jewell will start his wheeling and dealing in the transfer market. Jewell has been studying certain players on duty in Germany, but has reportedly earmarked Manchester United winger Kieron Richardson as his primary target. Jimmy Bullard has already moved on as well as David Thompson, Alan Mahon and Stephane Henchoz, while Jason Roberts is poised to leave. That would leave Jewell with less than the 16 outfield players permitted in a Premier League squad. Richardson would be willing to make the change, and wouldn't cost too much which really appeals to the Wigan hierarchy. Espanyol striker Raul Tamudo, Bolton's Kevin Davies and Norwich forward Robert Earnshaw are all being watched too, as Jewell searches for a partner for Henri Camara. Neil Mellor was on loan for the second half of last season, but his injury problems will rule him out of any potential move.

mcveigh of norwich to sign for qpr

chipperfield who impressed for australia in the world cup is a possible signing for qpr aswell

This isn't a surprising story but Steed Malbranque will be sporting a Middlesbrough shirt by Thursday. The Fulham midfielder has one year remaining on his contract and has been at loggerheads with current boss Chris Coleman over an extension, prompting him to place Malbranque on the transfer list. The Frenchman will clinch a £3.5m move to the Riverside to become Gareth Southgate's first signing as Boro boss.

Leeds United will sign Edgar Davis on a free. also will be gettiing Danny Shittu

ok i know a few things and the torres to man utd deal is nearly done. man utd are also about to sent benfica a £18.5m bid for petit and simao. while carrick is having talks as is mascherano. if ronaldo does leave lennon will become a target. SAF wants 1 more striker after torres and will pick from bent, defoe, robinho, and klose. arsenal will sell cesc and reyes back to spain. they will move for malouda and davies.

srry lads bout mcsheffrey rumour, it is true that he has been linked to boro was in the teeside gazette, for some reason i thought he was at leeds, srry bout that.

Boro are now leading chasers ahead of newcastle for steed malbranque from fulham, although newcastle could offer him more than boro, as they have intertoto and can offer him a large wage budget. And Personally i donnt think i could see him in a boro shirt this season, as 5 mil, plus a high wage will scare boro off him.

Middlesbrough area also in the search for a new right back or a replacement right back becasue of the ban to abel xavier, and the injury prone tony mcmahon, boro are left with parnaby, and centre backs like davies continously have to fill in there and look out of shape. Whoever it is wold need to eb bought on the cheap, because of the money being spent on other players, such as the rumoured Willhlemson and supposadly McSheffrey

ARSENAL NEWS Interest is growing on who will wear the #10 shirt next season? It will be Dirk Kuyt(feyenoord),a deal is being done for a fee of around £10million.Yaya Toure(olympiakos)also looks likely as he has told his Greek club that he wants to leave?so it looks like Kolo has twisted his arm?Juventus owe Arsenal £7million from the Vieira deal, Buffons agent is in talks with Arsenal.Chivas are the club that Arsenal signed mexican wonderboy Carlos Vela from so Carlos Salcido is a possibility.

Liverpool have made an offer for AC Milans Gattuso with Kewell going as makeweight aswell as finalising the deal set today for Dutchman Kuyt after Dutch Newspaper DE Nederlande the Dutch TIMES:The Gattuso deal would obviously depened on the out come of the Italian Match Fixing Case in Rome starting again today.

But Benitez also has tabs on a nuber of top targets.

Matthew Kilgallon IS leaving Leeds, but to join his old boss and mentor, David O'Leary, at Aston Villa.

Leeds have made an offer for Darren Currie at Ipswich but have been quoted £2.5 Million. Despite on-going financial difficulties, Ipswich have decided that they would only sell him to a Premiership club and not a CCC rival.

One player who will definitely leave Leeds before the Summer is out is David Healy. Boothroyd at Watford is amongst his admirers, he knew the player when he was at Leeds and feels he has been played out of position at the Elland Road club. Boothroyd would play Healy in an attacking partnership with Marlon King.

New Norwich coach and former England U-18 boss Martin Hunter will be Canaries boss by Christmas if under fire manager Nigel Worthington fails to convince in the opening months.

Please stop lying and making up stuff to suit your club....Riquelme does NOT have a min. fee release clause of 12.7 million and has allready said he is happy at villareal.....uniteed will probably sign Petit as they are waiting till portugal are out of the W.C. so they can hold talks with the player....

A report has just flown in from greece that yaya toure has just stated in a greek interview that he's not happy about olympiakos not playing in the champions league next season as they have been booted out because of the greek gouverment along with other greek teams and will be looking for an exit out of the greek league and he stated that he has bought a house in london up the road from kolo his older brother and wants to sign for arsenal as arsenal have secretly already had a 8 million pound bid accepted for the african midfield general.Expect the deal to be closed in the week or so. CALLUM MAC

Reading are set to sign Spanish defensive midfielder Pablo Orbaiz for £4.3 Million from Athletic Bilbao as a replacement for Sidwell

I've been in the South of France for the last month.Wenger has repeatedly been interviewed about the French Team,The World Cup and the future of Arsenal on French TV.He has confirmed every time that there will be a maximum of 2 further players after Rosicky and his targets do not include any of the names being suggested in the media. He has confirmed that there will be a defender and up front Walcott,Bendtner and Lupoli will all be given a chance.Viera will absolutely not be returning to Arsenal according to Arsene - that would be a backward step - neither is Buffon,Thuram,(too old),Torres or Toure according to AW

Calderon has only just been elected president of Real Madrid but he has already made arrangements to meet Fabio Capello to discuss a contract after the recent turmoil at Juventus. Also Arjen Robben/Cristiano Ronaldo, one of the two will be joining for definate and possibly Cesc Fabregas. Ashley Cole is also in Calderons plans and so too is Cris of Lyon. Gianluigi Buffon will deffinatley not join Arsenal, he too will be arriving at the bernabeu shortly after Italy's world cup campaign ends. Another player arriving at Madrid may be Kaka of AC Milan although he has signed a new contract recentley. Outgoings will be, Gravesen to Manchester City, Woodgate on loan to Leeds(doubtful) or more likely Newcastle, Ronaldo to Inter although his performances late on at the world cup may just keep his position safe.

EVERTON NEWS: david moyes is looking to strengthen his midfield an forwards. His first choice striker is john dahl tomasson (5mil). Also i have heard that costinha(who is currently clubless) is on his way to goodison. Apparently he is big friends with nuno valente. Moyes will swoop for Ukraines international midfielders anatoliy tymoschuk and maksym kalinichenko. However, i dont know how much money will be spent on these two players. Another transfer that might interest evertonians, i have heard from a good source that owen hargreaves could be on his way to everton, but only if man u or arsenal dont choose to buy him. Im sick of hearing everton geting linked with players like steed malbranque and brett emerton. these two players are decent ones but everton always get linked but never actually pay the cash required to buy these players. all everton fans should agree with me!

Former Tottneham and Wolves striker Steffen Iversen is set for Reading for £500,000.

Reading have had a £2.3 Million offer accepted for 20 year old Argentine Goalkeeper Oscar Ustari from Independiente.

Some of these Manchester United and liverpool rumours are stupid. NEWCASTLE will certainly sign Jarmaine Defore if Totenham get Darren Bent or Marlon Harewood. Shaun Wright Philips may come on loan. Kuyt will join the toon for £6 million. Butt, Faye and Carr will leave as they are all unhappy. Boumsong will stay untill January when the toon will sign a £10 million centre back.

Ronaldo's chances of leaving man utd now only around 50-60%. i dont believe any true utd fan would want to see him leave as he is one of the only true world class players left at old trafford. if he does leave utd will try again to sign lennon(not likely still) or Joaquin of Betis. Fergie looked at him a couple of years back before opting for Ronaldo. for the left mid Duff(possible) or more likely simao are being looked at. in the centre mid positions most likely signings are to be Gattuso, Muntari and Carrick. ALthough after his fine showings at the world cup i feel utd will make a possible move for Owen Hargreaves(who is also likely to relish the prospect of this move as he has previously stated the he would love a move to the prem with a top four team. if these midfield targets are not aquired expect to see offers for Maniche, Sjneider, Mascherano and Demichellis. upfront there is still the possibility of fernando torres signing but money may be needed elsewhere; although the glazers have stated they will do there best to make extra funds available for a big signing and there will be no bigger this summer than fernando torres.

cahill to man utd

6million

100% done.

mark my words.

Swindon town are to sign released barnsley defender tony vaughan in the next couple of days as due to the unexpected departure of sean ohanlon.

I'm a very keen American soccer fan and I have HUGE news for a certain Premiership/Championship club. My Uncle is part of a consortium currently trying to invest and pump quantam amounts of money into a London based side with ambition and off the feild potetnial with which to justify their investment. The candidates for this are West Ham and Crystal Palace, West Ham are by far the first choice what with being a top flight team and the rights for the olympic stadium. Crystal Palace are at the moment a safety net or 2nd choice, however a great run putting the team in a top 2 position by January will see an audacious bid IF West Ham are no longer in the uefa cup. I'm talking Abromovic style here guys. will keep you informed.

These players will move after WC

Fernando Torres

Maxi Rodriguez

Philip Lahm

Luis Valencia

Kalinichenko

Asamoah Gyan

Sulley Muntari

Marco Bresciano

Cristiano Ronaldo

Andrea Barzagli

Have just heard that Rangers will finally sign Lyon midfielder Jeremy Clement for a fee of around £1.6m. The deal will be concluded by Friday at the latest. B

Carlos Edwards could be a £1 million target for Sheffield United boss Neil Warnock.

It is unlikely that the Trinidad & Tobago international, right-sided player will leave for Norwich and he will probably stay at Luton.

Kevin Foley may now stay at Luton Town although Fulham, Aston Villa and Charlton are interested.

If he leaves Luton, expect him to be Luke Young's replacement at Chartlon at right-back as Young is expected to soon join West Ham.

=v1=

Spurs team next season

------------------ Robinson ---------------------

Trabelsi --------- King --- Thuram? ----- Lee

Lennon ------- Yaya Toure --- Zakora ----- Duff

---------------- Berbatov ----- Keane ---------

Thuram could be bought in IF juve are relegated. Spurs will also put in a bid for Obafemi Martains.

to the person who said reading will replace sidwell with hughes needs to be reminded that hughes's time at reading is easily forgotton yes he did work hard but he was absolute pants. yes we will sign mensah for 4 million and dean whitehead from sunderland for around 2m.

To the Leeds fan who thinks that you'll get McVeigh for free from Norwich, not happening. Also, to some of the other people on here, we will not be buying hulse for £2m. We are however looking at Izzale Mcleod for £1m after he was transfer listed by new MK Dons bos Martin Allen, worthy first took an interest in the player when we played the MK Dons last season in the carling cup. The doubts on this deal are the other clubs who are after him, and the fact that we have a bid pending for Luton Target Man Steve Howard, which also includes first option on Carlos Edwards

colin kazim ricahrds to sheff utd and mitchell cole of southend

The crisis today in Greek football means that Olympiakos will not be in Europe Next season. This has put Arsenal on alert over signing Yaya Toure, who will be available for a cut price £5m

Heres a great conspirasy for you, starting last summer, Wenger got a tip-off that Juventus were getting involved in match-fixing and would almost certainly be found out eventually, this lead him to sell Viera at that strangely cut-price £13.5m whilst also getting some REALLY valuable first options on Juve Players, including a buy back price on Viera, (although he won't want to go back). This means this summer, he has Buffon, Ibrahimovic, Trezeuget at his disposal if he wants them. This if Juve do end up going down, which looks increasingly likely, Italian Football doesn't mess around!

Unlike some people here, I don’t pretend to know what’s happening with Man United’s summer’s transfers. However, some of the rumours here are clearly untrue and others misinformed. So, to clear some things up, first with the outbound:

RONALDO – It seems highly likely Ronaldo will be offloaded now; he’s clashed with Giggs, RVN and Rooney in the last year and it is likely SAF feels a little betrayed after the support he showed CR following the RVN incident. Likely to be Madrid bound; absolutely zero-chance that involves a swap for Beckham, be realistic people.

Van NISTELROOY – Almost certain to be sold as SAF has finally worked out United lack mobility and creativity when he plays. With Saha fit again and Rossi progressing faster than expected, expect RVN to be sold to make way for a new striker, not one of the others.

O’SHEA – Almost certainly staying; SAF likes players who can play in a number of positions and O’Shea is VERY popular in the dressing room at Old Trafford.

FLETCHER – Unlikely to be on a permanent transfer as SAF is convinced Fletcher is the real deal, but could be loaned out depending on arrivals.

SILVESTRE – Looked certain to leave in January but neither Vidic or Evra have impressed since signing so SAF may reconsider; more likely to leave than stay, I’d say, but not by much.

SCHOLES – Another one of Fergie’s faves but (the rumour is) Scholes himself feels he can’t contribute at the highest level any more and may choose to move.

GIGGS – Absolutely, definitely NOT leaving.

SAHA – Absolutely, definitely NOT leaving.

BROWN – Absolutely, definitely NOT leaving.

Now, the rumoured inbound:

KALINICHENKO – This rumour started on a fan board on manutd.com (where fans post their own ‘scouting’ reports) and was subsequently picked up by the press in Russia and then over here. Completely and utterly untrue.

RICARDINHO – He only signed for Corinthians in January, has a dreadful reputation for disrupting dressing rooms and his spell at Middlesborough was an unmitigated disaster. Work it out for yourself.

HUNTELAAR – A possible target; Fergie likes his strikers, but probably a year or two early yet. Unlikely.

TORRES – Torres is leaving Atletico this summer – they’ve already been spending the proceeds from the sale. United and Milan are leading the chase – it may have to wait for Milan’s fate to be decided by the Italian courts. Possible.

MASCHERANO – Leaving Corinthians this year or next, but could go to Madrid or Arsenal instead. Possible.

SEEDORF – Too old, too disruptive.

RIQUELME – Seems more likely to find his way to another Spanish club to me. Unlikely.

MUNTARI – We’ll probably see Muntari in the Premiership next season, but more likely at a club outside the top 6 – which is right for his stage of development. Unlikely.

HARGREAVES – After his storming World Cup, and bearing in mind SAF was a fan anyway, seems highly likely United will try to obtain him but, if you were Bayern, would you sell?

SCHWEINSTEIGER – Still almost at war with Bayern. Likely to be leaving this summer and probably the most realistic wing target for United.

CARRICK – Deal is done, apparently.

GATTUSO – Gattuso is a long-term MUFC admirer and the feeling is mutual. If Milan get relegated (unlikely) he’ll sign; if they don’t, he won’t.

LENNON – Needs another good season to prove himself. Unlikely.

KAKA – Not as ridiculous as it sounds. The Kaka to Man U rumours have been around in the Italian press for over a year now and refuse to go away – likely if Milan get relegated and possible if they don’t.

BUFFON – Absolutely no chance, and nor has anybody else in England. Plus does anybody genuinely believe a keeper who cost 35M is going to be sold for 7M?

RIBERY – Going to Lyon.

EMERSON – Too old.

RAFINHA – Unlikely a right back will be brought in at this stage as Brown provides cover and SAF wants to see if Bardsley can make it at the highest level.

When considering any Man U rumours, remember that Ben Foster (GK), Pique (Centre Back), Dave Jones (Centre Mid), Darron Gibson (Centre Mid), Giuseppe Rossi (Forward), Febian Brandy (Forward) and Kieran Richardson are all seen as having a bright future at the club and that Park Ji-Sung is rated VERY highly at Old Trafford indeed.

Finally, to clear up the Corinithians / Abramovich situation. Corinthians are owned by a London based investment firm who appear to have very close links to both Bezerovsky and Abramovich. Bezerovsky and Abramovich are not 'at war' with each other. There are several other clubs around the world owned in a similar way and there have been some transfers between them. However, it is highly unlikely high profile transfers between them would avoid FIFA scrutiny and therefore are almost certain to be completely above board; Abramovich could not risk the value of his investment being destroyed by FIFA sanctions which could include the relegation of all clubs involved in any such dealings. Stop being paranoid about this; Abramovich is not the only man to have interests in more than one football club on the planet.

Now that Calderon has been installed as new Madrid president, the landscape of the summer transfer market for the major clubs can begin to take shape. The installation of Capello as manager will be followed closely by the signings of Diarra (Lyon, £20m), Robben (Chelsea, £18m to be replaced by Simao (£14m)), Carvalho (Chelsea, £12m) Fabregas and/or Reyes (The main aim of Calderon is to reinstill a Spanish backbone to Real, thus either a joint or seperate bid could be made for the Arsenal duo that would either involve a fee of £30m+ or an exchange of unwanted galacticos, whatever the approach Arsenal will move for Yaya Toure (£8m) and Jeremy Menez (Schouax, £5.5m) as repalcements) and finally following a protracted saga involving Real and Milan over where Kaka will ply his trade next season, Real will finally accept defeat and move for Riquelme (£17m) and Ibrahimovic (£12m).

Once Madrid have made thier moves Man Utd and Chelsea will finalise thier transfer dealings, Utd will attempt to bring in 5 players over the close season: a striker (Torres £23.5m or surprisingly Ashton £10m) a holding midfielder (Hargreaves £8m or Mascherano £16m) a box to box midfielder (Appiah £7m or Nolan £6.5m) a winger (Malouda £7m or Lennon £12.5m) and a rightback (Rafinha £4m or Edilson £3.5m). Chelsea will complete thier line up by clinching the signings of Cannavaro (£14m), Lahm (£11m)and Joaquin (£8m).

Other big name players shuttling between european heavyweights will be Ronaldo-Inter, Buffon-Milan/Roma, Nedved-Valencia, Del Piero-Fiorentina, Defoe-Newcastle, Kuyt-Newcastle, Miguel-Newcastle, Trabelsi-Arsenal, Lauren-Barcelona, Aimar-Liverpool, Muntari-Bayern, Van Nistelrooy-Bayern, Ze Roberto-Deportivo, Bent-Liverpool, Kewell-Bolton, Neill-Barcelona, Rodriguez-Inter, Van der Vaart-Spurs. KoVaK.

West Ham United are currently waiting for their third signing to be made so that they can unveil the trio in a press conference which is scheduled to be around 1200 on july 5th. The 2 complete signings will be Carlton Cole from Chelsea and Preston's Tyrone Mears. it is not clear who the mystery third signing is yet but it is believed to be one of the following three: Julio Arca of Sunderland, The Ukranian World Cup hero and ex-Hammer Serghiy Rebrov or MK Dons' Izale Mcleod. Also to be announced at the press conference is a statement from Chariman Terrance Brown reiterating that West Ham will NOT be selling any players in this Pre Season period.

Some rumours here, mostly Man Utd. Utd will do all they can to get Ronaldo to stay at the club, but he will likely leave. Utd have already contacted Real Betis re Joaquin who is available for around £12 million. Joaquin is said to be extremely interested as he was informed that Torres (£27.5 million) will be a Utd player at the start of the season (he and Torres are good friends). In addition, Utd have almost finalised a deal for Mascherano (£16 million - twice what Corinthians paid for him) and everybody knows already that Carrick is on his way.

Arsenal have enquired about Buffon but he has turned them down as AC Milan are interested. Juve will get relegated, but AC will just receive a fine.

David Villa has let Valencia know that he wants to join Liverpool, who are willing to pay £18 million for his services, but Valencia will demand closer to £40 million (which Benitez will never pay).

Regarding a smaller club in England, Chelsea have agreed to let Gallas go if they receive £8 million and have identified 4 young defenders to replace him as back-up to Terry and Carvalho (Mourinho has been very impressed with Carvalho at the world cup and is ready to guarantee him a first team place). Also with chelsea, Makelele has indicated this will be his last season and Chelsea are now looking for a replacement as Mourinho doesnt think Diarra is up to the job yet.

Liverpool have agreed a deal with Savilla to sign Daniel Alves and he will be shown to the press this week along with Bellamy Palleta and Gonzales Rafa still working on a deal for Villa of Valencia

Liverpool have finally tied up the Aurelio situation. They have signed him and he will be formally announced at the next press conference. In a statement issued on the Liverpool site offering condolences to those affected in the Valencia train crash, Aurelio's name was mentioned as a player.
