Use our rumours form to send us football transfer rumours.

After only 2 games in charge Harry is clear he needs a new right back and a new goalkeeper.
Expect a 5mill bid for Boruc from Celtic and a loan bid for Evans from Man Utd.
Every now and again a rumour pops up and ends up being true. I remember laughing on here when I read about Keano heading off to the bin–dippers a long while before the issue came up and when it did it was a bitter pill to swallow.

But as for some of the others fantasies on here . . Bale has got two legs and the ability to kick a ball so Benitez will definitely be interested but it will be for a lot lot more than 10 mill . . more like 16–18 mill at the very least . . because with Ekotto heading off somewhere we will be short in the left back department and with this in mind Harry could end up making a move for Bridge but I sincerely hope not.

We paid over the odds for Hutton and a move away is possible but he won't be going anywhere for half price . . and seeing that Chris G is still learning his trade, old 'Arry might sound out Johnson.

We won't be in the market for Defoe (thank God !)but Diarra in a swap for cash and Zokora and possibly Huddlestone is more than likely.

And as Modric to Birmingham . . hmmm, this could very possibly happen, especially if he gets lost driving around London and ends up on the M40 !
Barnsley are after bent from Birmingham city on loan then signing for a year when the loan deal ends in january
Leory Lita is to rejected Norwich in favour of joing Crystal Palace in a sawp deal involving Crystal Palace midfielder Ben Watson

100% true

from Matt–NCFC
To the person who commented on my rumour regarding Defoe and Diarra moving to Pompey, I have read that Redknapp has said that Defoe and Diarra are his top prioroties in the transfer window and that he will be given 20 mil to spend and he will try to use it to spend on th 2 pompey players. This is something I have read not something I have made up. If Redknapp fails to sign these players he will continue his pursuit of the pair further into the summer.

Thanks,
Ade25
". . Another Part Of The Deal Will Be To Make Michael An Embassador For Liverpool When He Retires". .
Couldnt help but laugh at his post, the lad ran off on us and gave some stupid excuse about his agent not being around, sorry Rafa is right not to bring him back and how he must regret it now. Sorry Mike but its you and Joey Barton from here on in.
To the person who said gabby n barry will both go to the gunners for £27 mil, did you even read the papers over the summer? villa rate barry alone in the region of £18 mil plus and with his performances this season so far is proving his valuation and then to value gabby at less than £9 mil when the likes of kitson cost clubs £5.5 mil is insane if the deal was to go thru which is unlikely it would need to be in the region of £35 mil plus minimum, ( the kind of money arsenal havn't got). maybe barry will leave to the highest bidder at the end of the season if a contract can't be agreed before then, thus depending on cl football being played at villa park.

villa will look for a defencive mid in jan as villa can't hold a lead at the moment, linked players will include huddleston (spurs), john o'shea (man u).

we will also look for a forward to replace harewood who will leave again to the highest bidder in jan, likely replacements are; ameobi (newcastle), anichebi(everton). both strong and fast with potential.
Bolton will replace the much loved Gary Megson with the former Derby boss Billy Davies. He will target Juninho,Tyrone Mears and Lupoli to rescue the Trotters.
Pascal Chimbonda was left out of the Sunderland team at Stoke last night because he told Roy Keane he wants a move back to London.
Hearts FC – Lithuania will be the next country to ask for a financial bail out from the IMF. Bank owner Vladimir Romanov will fall on his sword (as per Fred Goodwin aka Royal Bank supremo). Ukio Bankas along with other Lithuanian financial institutions have been somewhat "cavalier" in their overseas investments. The bail out will mean the sale of Hearts for a rock bottom price (good news) but will mean that all funding to them (wages/salaries and all disbursements etc) will stop immediately (bad news).
This is a factual post. I am a person that is in the "know".
Absolute rubbish regarding agbonlahor to arsenal, true to say barry will leave in january– arsenal emerging as front runners as oniel won't sell to rafa. Dont be suprised if SAF puts a late bid in for barry to pave the way for scholes to retire and ship out injury prone hargeaves. Agbonlahor is happy and settled at villa park and is willing to do anything to prove the booboys of holte end wrong–proving he isnt lazy.there is a real belief that villa can push for CL football. Villa will sign an experienced centre back as cover for curtis davies and laursen, rumour is the pacy and strong ivan cordoba form Inter for a nominal fee £2–£3 mil. we also need a centre attacking mid when barry leaves, possible candidates include Tim Borowoski, Tim Cahill, Micheal Johnson or David Silva depending on funds. Last but not least a live wire goal scorer will be signed either Craig bellamy, Jermain Defoe, Jeremy Menez or Vincenzo Iauquinta
  Everton News:

Everton have nothing short of a strikers crisis with 3 of their top 4 strikers being inadequate (Saha, Vaughan and Anichebe). So expect all of Moyes' transfer kitty to go towards purchasing a class striker. Some names being thrown around are: Lisandro Lopez (Porto), Niang (Marseille) and Mario Gomez

Pompey/Spurs News:

No exodus at Portsmouth. Only players to leave will be Diarra to Spurs and Krancjar to Arsenal. Redknapp will do Adams a favour and will use Tom Huddlestone as part of the deal to bring Diarra to Spurs. Adams will also bring in a centre back, David Wheater has been mentioned.

Redknapp will bring in Diarra as well as Ronaldo, Upson, Foster and a new left–back as he believes Assou–Ekotto to be poor. Levaing will be Rocha, Huddlestone and Dos Santos on loan. Bale will not come to Liverpool as of yet, they're going to see how Dossena does.

Other news:

Villanueva to sign a deal with Blackburn for £5m
Kitson back to Reading for £4m
Jimmy Bullard will not be going to Celtic, but if Fulham do get relegated expect a series of clubs to swoop for the midfielder
Yakubu wants out from Everton, and Tottenham are interested in buying the striker, As Yakubu wants to leave – Everton will inevitably sell, and to replace him, they will bring in Newcastle Striker Michael Owen, who was close to signing for Everton on the last day of the transfer window – had it not been for an argument between Keegan and Ashley.

MAnchester United and Chelsea are interested in Buying Phil Jagielka, however Everton have insisted he is not for sale.
Message to ADe25 . . . . . . . . . . your message that Defoe and Diarra will move to Spurs in Jan for £12m and £8m respectively is way off reality! First, Defoe CAN NOT according to League rules go back to Spurs within 1 year so Jan window is a non starter. Also,as Pompey already turned down a £15m bid for him in the last window, £12m will not do the job! As for Diarra, Man City bid £l5m for him in the last window too and were turned down. So, if you want Defoe at Spurs it's at least £15m and it's next season. If you want Diarra, it will be coser to £20M.
Sunderland will sing both Joleon Lescott (Everton) and Lassana Diarra (Portsmouth) in January.
The only players who portsmouth will lose in janurary are Diarra, Krancjar and Distin.
Diarra will move to liverpool to replace alonso who is going to Madrid.
Distin may move back to france, expect to see an english replacement.
Krancjar will go to arsenal, in return arsenal will loan Afellay who they will also sign in Janurary back to portsmouth to help tony adams and let him invest the krancjar money elsewhere in the team.
Gareth Barry and Gabriel Abonglahor will make the move to the emirates with 27million and nicklas bendtdner moving to villa park enabling John carew to move over to spain, villa will sign a player from spain as a replacement, they will also get ruben de la red as a replacement for barry.
  Arsenal ins:
Much more strength needed in defense.
–Strong keeper (Almunia didnt look strong enough against Spurs) – Sebastian Frey? – (Fiorentina) –10 mil
–Rock solid centre back (add more cover for when Gallas and Toure are injured) – David Wheater? –(Boro) – 10 mil/Micah Richards? – (City) – 20 mil
–Tough tackling defensive midfielder (give Fabregas freedom to be more creative and more attacking minded) – Yaya Toure (Barca), will be done deal by next season – 8–10 mil

Man UTD ins:
Left winger + another striker needed.
–David Silva? (Valencia) – 20–25 mil
–Antonio Valencia? (Wigan) – 10–15 mil
–Roque Santa Cruz? (Blackburn) – 15 mil

Chelsea ins:
Centre back needed to cover for Terry the lionheart and injury prone Carvalho.
–Rafael Marquez? (Barca) – 8 mil
–Materazzi? (Inter) – 7 mil

Liverpool ins:
Strong right back needed as Arbeloa not strong enough
–Philip Lahm? (Bayern) – 10–12 mil
–Serdio Ramos? (Madrid) – 15 mil

  Firstly, Let's Get Things Straight!
Manchester City Will Not Go Signing Anyone Willy Nilly (ie. Torres, Fabregas & Ronaldo).
Mark Hughes Isn't Like That What So Ever.

Do Expect Him To Make A January Move For Roque Santa Cruz With An Excellent Offer Of £7m + (Injury Prone) Valerji Bojinov.
Zimbabwean Striker, Benjani Is To Re–unite With Harry Redknapp At White Hart Lane To Help Resolve Or Ease The Striker Problems Down In North London.

With Jo, Robinho & Santa Cruz As The Front Men, Backed Up By Elano, Ireland & Shaun Wright Phillips, Hughes Knows He Has Wonderful Attacking Options.
One Area He Looks To Improve Is Right Back And He Hopes To Sign Paulo Ferreira From Chelsea For A Fee Believed To Be £4m.

Away From Manchester City & Now To Manchester United.
Angolan, Manucho, Has Struggled To Make Any Impact Since Being Granted A Work Permit And Is Going To Be The Subject Of A Tug Of War Battle Between Blackburn Rovers & Sunderland. Sir Alex Is Prepared To Let The Tall Forward Leave On Loan To Gain Some Premierleague Experience.
Again, Don't Expect To See Too Much Transfer Activity At Manchester United.

Also Don't Expect To See Any Transfer Activity At Chelsea Either.

Liverpool Have All But Signed Gareth Bale As Redknapp Believes He Could To Tempt Wayne Bridge To The Lane & Is Prepared To Take This Risk As The Transfer Should Pay For Itself.
Another Signing Will Be Rafinha From Schalke To Play In The Problematic Right Back Position.
The Final Liverpool Move Will Be For Michael Owen.
Owen Will Be Offered A Basic £35,000 A Week With An Extra £70,000 Added On Whenever He Makes An Appearance. Another Part Of The Deal Will Be To Make Michael An Embassador For Liverpool When He Retires. Still Only Young, Owen Has Many Years Left In Him But Wants To Remain At Liverpool For The Rest Of His Playing Career.

Last Bit Of News, Blackpool Will Sign Kabba, Gow & Camara On Permanant Deals In January For About £800,000 & Will Also Make An Audacious Bid To Bring Out Of Favour Blackburn Striker, Matt Derbyshire To Bloomfield Road On Loan For The Remainder Of The Season. Adam Hamill Will Also Extend His Loan At Blackpool Until The End Of The Current Campaign.
Celtic – despite some posting on here, Celtic will NOT be signing Jimmy Bullard. We are already top–heavy in the middle of the park, Nakamura, Brown, Hartley, McGeady, Maloney, Robson, Donati, Crosas to name some without picking a cpl of "fringe" players" – Nakamura may well move in January but with McGeady and Maloney as wide men and the emergence of Mizuno and McCourt imminent no replacement will be sought. The most important position to fill is still at left–back and this will be addressed. Initial whispers out of Lennoxtown is a possible january to end of season loan deal for Wayne Bridge with possible option to buy in summer. Ryan Conroy in the reserves is biding his time but I've been told he's just not strong enough defensively. There may also be short–term deals for a couple of experienced strikers to help out to avoid the situation following the injuries to Samaras and JVoH. Hail Hail Bhoys
Celtic are being linked with Filip Sebos wonder cousin Tomas Zapotoka. ZTS Dubinica are willing to let him go for 3.5m. Zapotka scored 23 goals for Dubinica last season. FACT
  ((( AFC Bulletin )))

Possable deal by AW 4 ASTON VILLA player Gareth Barry which might include an AFC player going the other way as part of the deal come Jan . Its been known AW is interested in Man United gk Ben Foster and may make a move 4 him in Jan .
To the (taxi) driver from glesga! I very much doubt the tattie munchers will be signing evans! die hard bear! bellamy! well use coul;dnt afford him but who cares anyway he's mince, and as for us signing rob jones and nish! what a pathetic little rumour lol! anyway 2 big things will happen at Ibrox in January! the return of Hutton and the signing of steven fletcher and that is all!
To the guy who said he is a taxi driver and talked about Celtic and Ranger's singings, get real, Celtic could never get Evans or Denilson even on loan, they both feature as part of the first team set up. And why would Fletcher and Bellamy want to leave their clubs to sit on the bench behind McDonald, Samaras and Hesselink?

Rangers Will not sign Nish or Jones as they are not required, Rangers may sign Fletcher of Hibs.

And Durrant and McCoist will not take over the riegns from Smith as neither have the experience!
Blackburn Rovers Search for a right winger to replace Bentley has taken a great step foward. Representatives have been sent to udinese to discuss a fee for alexis sanchez belived to be around the 8–10 million mark. Although Ugar Yildrem free kick specialist who competed in a free kick competion with zidane and beckham and WON has had a trial at rovers, but Ince is a fond lover of Nathan Dyer of Southampton.

Bolton's Johan Elmander could be leaving sooner rather then later, he is struggling to adapt to life in england and english football and will leave on loan to either AC MONACO, HAMBERG or RENNES.

Arsenal have appointed a 18 year old scout called Yimi Weah, brother of ex arsenal striker Christopher Weah (NO JOKE)
Gareth Bale will sign for Liverpool for 10m Redknapp has already held talks with Benitez about signing Bale, Redknapp will sell Bale because he will be signing Wayne Bridge from Chelsea for 7m

  Celtic January Rumours

I am a taxi driver and I can confirm the following celtic signings during the January transfer window.

Denilson (Arsenal) Loan
Bellamy (West Ham) 5m – Done deal as he cant settle in london.
Jonny Evans (Man Utd) Loan
James McCarthy 500K
Steven Fletcher (Hibs) 3.5m

Out

Naka 2m
Killen 200K (Aberdeen)

For Rangers the following transfers are likely according to my mate big jimbo who is another taxi driver, whom regularly picks up kris boyd from the pub.

Colin Nish (Hibs) 500K
Rob Jones (Hibs) 1m

Out

Stevie smith (Hearts) Free
Kris Boyd 2m (Notts Forest)
Andreas Velicka back to (Stavenger) 500K
Steven Naismith (Hull) Loan

Also watch out for smith to step down at the end of the season and McCoist & Durrant to take over. Apparently he's fed up with the sectarian bile coming from the Rangers support.
Gareth Bale has finally confirmed he will be joining Liverpool FC in the summer apparently he has refused to negotiate with the Spurs top brass and deems the running of the club as shambolic. . . To add further exiting news for the Mersey based giants. .Bordeux's Argentine forward Fernando Cavenhagi has agreed to join Liverpool in Jan for a fee worth around 15 million . . . . . . .David Ngog has failed to impress and Benitez has issued that a third Striker of real quality is a priority
Man UTD will not sign Carlos Tevez permenantly, as he wants to play first team football and his place in the United no.1 strike force has been taken by Berbatov. He could make a switch to AC Milan in the summer for around 25–30 mil. If this does happen, Man UTD will look to sign 2 more strikers to make up the 4 strike options that they want. They will sign 2 of Jan Huntelaar, Roque Santa Cruz, Oba Martins, Arshavin and Henry. They will only sign one of these if Tevez stays. Cristiano Ronaldo will not be moving away from United in the summer, despite the efforts Madrid will make to lure the winger. He may make a move the summer after.
Harry Redknapp is set to bid 10 million for Glen Johnson in January. This means that Alan Hutton will return to Rangers in a deal worth 5 million.

51 and counting
Obviously going to be some big transfers at Manchester City in Jan & summer transfer windows so I contacted my mate who's a scout for some of the North West clubs (mostly lower league clubs now but has worked for city in the past)
He has spoken to someone at City who told him that several deals are pretty much done. He wouldn't give any names but did say two of them were South Americans, one a very big name. He also said City were "vigorously chasing Torres" but that a deal was nowhere near being done although a very high figure had been mentioned that the Scouse would find hard to reject.
  COMING IN:
Luka Modric who plays for Spurs is a target of Birmingham's in the January transfer window.

Birmingham will also lodge a bid for Kerra Gilbert of Arsenal and Leeds will terminate Ian Westlake's loan at Cheltenham and accept a permanent bid by Birmingham City.

Birmingham are also looking into the possible capture of Stoke player Liam Lawrence.

Birmingham will also lodge a bid for Jon Walters of Ipswich.
DEPARTURES:
Garry McSheffery will be placed on the transfer list apparently a load of Championship clubs trailing him.
If Walters is signed then it will signal the end of Bent's career at Birmingham he will have stayed a little over six months.

Birmingham have a ton of money that they did not spend in January. In this current economic climate prices of players will be down.
