Oxford's Tom Craddock will return North and join Hartlepool at the end of the season

Definately out of OUFC, and mixed views with the supporters. But wish him well wherever he ends up

Steve Bruce will take the Sunderland job due to the large increase in his wages

Sorry, Di Canio has been appointed this evening

Where have you been all weekend?

02 Apr 2013 15:23:18
I am no fan of di canio but miliband has used the situation to his own media advantage at least di canio shows the passion the fans love I just hope he can give the players the confidence they have been lacking. {Ed034's Note - he has his own morals and principals and i applaud him for standing by them. the fact that this has had media all of it is not his problem. if i was in his position i would have done the same thing

Bet365 co-owners (Peter Coate's daughter and son-in-law) are allegedly putting pressure on the Stoke Chairman to part ways with lacklustre Tony Pulis following not only a run of very poor form but a downfall in season ticket sales.

No one wants to watch poor football and I am a stoke fan

01 Apr 2013 09:20:34
Absolute nonsense, Tony MUST stay! {Ed034's Note -

Tony must stay what are you on

Tony doesn't need to go, he needs sence he can't just play his favorite players, we don't just need hard working players we need skill and flair and some quality and players that can play in the positions he puts them in.

Yeah, because Pulis has shown over the past 8 years that he's open to change and able to adapt his tactic (no plural). He doesn't know what to do with quality or flair. And it's not about the players not being able to play in the positions he puts them, more so that he needs to stop forcing square pegs into round holes.
Pulis is a one dimensional dinosaur and needs to leave.

Another away defeat, another poor display.
Some good players at Stoke, it's not they are now bad players, it's tactics preventing them scoring. Cluliss OUT

No class players will come to Stoke with Pulis there, inept one dimensional tactics, same subs coming on at the same time every week and little chance of scoring goals.

02 Apr 2013 13:14:15
I can't believe Stoke fans look where he took you from a poor supported club in championship to staying in prem you should be glad that your chairman and manager are at your small club

Pulis has done wonders for stoke and I am grateful for that, I no he can be clueless and I wish he would wake up a little bit but for what he's done for us (building stoke, taking us into prem, 1st FA cup final and europe) the least we owe him is time another season or two. I can understand why people moan but if pulis went we would go down for sure and there's no sayin how far we would go. What i'd say to those "pulis-out" stokies is enjoy the prem now cause you might get what you wish for

"you should be glad that your chairman and manager are at your small club"
By no means are we a small club. I'm glad the chairman is there but would you pay to watch Pulis 'style' football?

tyler harvey is set to honour his gentlemans agreement with plymouth argyle and sign a professional contract with them next season should argyle stay up despite other clubs taking an interest in him

He already has

31 Mar 2013 16:05:18
plymouth argyle looking into the signing of promising french forward joseph mendes who plays for le mans in the french second division. mendes previously was on trial for argyle back in the summer of 2011 with gurrieri who signed for argyle this season

I don't remember him being on trial.

Yeah joseph mendes was on trial. he scored 4 goals in two friendlies but pafc didn't offer a contract

He was on trial in 2011 but wasn't offered an contract.

Tottenham leading the race for Christian Benteke. Everton want Andreas Weimann. Fulham want Braz Guzan to replace Mark Schwarzer. Brendan Rodgers would like to sign Ashley Williams to replace Martin Skrtel who has had a poor season. Arsene Wenger wants to make a move for Robert Lewandowski and Mario Gotze however it will depend on whether Arsenal secure a Champions League place. Loic Remy could move to another Premier League Club or back to France if QPR go down.

Everton won't sign Weimann, especially if the rumours of Inter Milan wanting him are true.

Not Williams

Derby want to sign Gary Monk, Matty Fryatt, Albert Adomah/Chris Humphreys, Greg Cunningham/Aidy White, Martyn Waghorn and Chris Martin on a permanent deal.

Dream on your skint

Sadly it seems we are skint. They might
be on Cloughs wish list, but I don't think we could afford either the fees and the wages.

As a derby fan I can confirm 100% that we cannot afford these players.

We are not skit however and I can see three of those deals going through.

2 on free agents in Chris Martin and Martin Waghorn. Then Gary monk will be an interesting one as to whether we can afford him.

Finally though we could sell one of our younger players like will Hughes and we could see ourselves become one of the more lucrative clubs in the transfer window.

We will end up signing players below us
league 1 2 and below

01 Apr 2013 13:08:26
I feel sorry for derby fans. A lot of fantasy football managers in your midst.

I think Brayford may be sold, and I think it's 50/50 Hughes leaves in the summer. I could see Clough trying to get Monk as part of any proposed Brayford deal. Mind you losing 8 million a year the only Monk we can afford is a boxset of the detective series.

Brayford won't be sold. He's just recently bought a house in Derby and revealed in an interview with East Midlands Today that he's happy here.

As for Hughes, I reckon he'll have another season here. I think interest about him will have cooled because he hasn't played for a while. Plus he's a pretty level-headed youngster that knows he'll most likely get no playing time if he went to the Prem.

All in all, I think it will be a quiet summer for Derby. A couple of freebies coming in and a few leaving. Simple as.

02 Apr 2013 10:22:32
No 1 Cloughie target is Billy McKay from Inverness. Derby carry too many injury prone players, all great on their day but never a full season from any of them now. Ward, Bryson, O'Brien, Barker (and these are the so-called spine of the team!), so Cloughie having to rebuild in those areas. No one wants them (despite previous rumours Ward to Wolves, never going to happen) and they all have long term deals anyway.

See Cloughie go in for Gary Monk, Adam Clayton (Huddersfield), McKay and Stanton from Burton.

Possible Will grigg though he has signed long term Walsall deal and thus will cost more than we can afford.

How is OB spine of the team?

Yes I heard about the Brayford interview, it seems he loves the area and the club. The reason why I thought he might leave was the emergence of Freeman. Clough did say we might see more of him and Hoganson next season.

I do agree it could be a quiet close for Derby. I thought McKay had signed a new contract at Inverness?

I think the emergence of Freeman and Hoganson that Clough was talking about was at LB. Obviously GR3 is getting pretty old now. Brayford's the best RB outside the Prem, no chance of Freeman unseating him.

Middlesbrough are considering Manchester United legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as a potential replacement for faltering manager Tony Mowbray.

More likely Pearson, who will be replaced by O'Neill.

And were are we getting the money from to pay mowbray off and to afford solskjaer

I'm fairly sure gibbo once stated he'd never appoint a non british manager, evening he can speak better English then most people on Teesside.

02 Apr 2013 14:59:54
mohamed el- gabas is on his way to the boro in the summer on a free he can play on the wings on a cam role

Will grigg could well be on his way to the boro

31 Mar 2013 13:50:11
Sheffield United to sign a handful of Portuguese players in the summer, with some amazing talent available on free transfers due to the financial position of many top flight clubs.

Ex Porto star Ivanildo, 27 year old left winger, is thought to be the main target

If he is costing nothing blades will have him

31 Mar 2013 13:11:40
West Brom keen to challenge West Ham for signature of French midfielder Bocundji Ca. West Ham's much reported move for him contingent on sale of other players, so Steve Clarke hopes to steal a march as he seeks to galvanise his midfield early.

Dean Windass is set to become a part of Wolverhampton Wanderers coaching staff during the Summer.

31 Mar 2013 09:31:05
Steve Bruce coming back to Sunderland. Not a bad move.

Why should he when Hull are going to be promoted.?. {Ed034's Note - don't start counting your chickens

Hull will lose out in the playoffs

31 Mar 2013 15:12:10
I've got a sneaky tenner on 'Arry Redknapp - he fancies a "challenge" that he can pull off, rather than the one he's currently stuck with - Short is putting up a BIG staying up bonus - little bit extra for Rosie's retirement fund

Walsall fc set to unveil they new assistant manager by tuesday with former england and liverpool striker robbie fowler lookin more likely to be the candidate to land the job.
Febian Brandy and Will grigg will both sign a 2yr contract extension with club.
Craig westcarr will be released in the summer alongside dean holden, george bowerman and richard taundry.

George Bowerman will not be released. He is under contract until the end of next season and is a very good talent so no chance.

31 Mar 2013 17:37:35
I'm sorry but all the lad did was poke home a few goals without showing any work for them. He was just luckily on the end of a good ball. Look at brandy and Grigg, they score goals and do the work. Bye bye Georgie, you useless dingle supporter.

Taundry is still in contract with walsall till next season the club av a 1 year option they already signed him on to a new contract so he ain't going nowhere

Lucky on the end of a good ball really? I think you need to look at the fact at the start of the season he scored more goals than what brandy has all season plus he's probs the best finisher we have at the club. The problem with bowerman is his work rate as a lone striker isn't good enough plus he doesn't win enough aerial battles. As for taundry he won't be at walsall he ain't good enough he's 3rd choice at best possibly 4th with Ben george.

Dont think he s the best finisher what you bin watchin all tap ins patersons scored all ihis own goals mostly made himself 13 clean goals no pens work it out or are you a villa fan

Richard Taundry is only contracted to the end of the 2012/13 season. I reckon he will be released.

I'm a walsall fan thanks and ye I do agree with you patersons finishing has improved a lot and is one of the best finishers but for someone to say bowerman just poked home a few goals without showing any work for them is wrong and to me he is one of the best finishers at the club don't you agree?

No I don't agree he s made propably 2 goals himself if you look at the stats most of his goals were rebounds and assists from paterson I like bowie but he don't do enuf he likes to stay up front and do nish if he stopped looking at the ground more and watched the game he would improve not a league one striker yet as for best finisher nahhhh he carnt even get one in in the reserves but gud luck to him

31 Mar 2013 07:55:53
it looks like liam feeney is going back to bournmouth
in the summer for free and dany n'gussan wants out because of a lack of first team action, what a loss dany will be, a great talent its just millwall didn't
give him a chance

Good! They are both league one players at best!Sorry KJ they were bad buys!

31 Mar 2013 18:31:15
how can you say that, they are both good footballers and when dany n'gussan wants to be he is unstopable look how he played against blackburn the reply and liam feeney has some great games

Feeney poor mans lennon, both not good enough. poor signings, wish them well, but they are not millwall players.
lets hope we sign chaplow sort of player millwall need, quality

I can say that because obviously i'm not the only one who thinks that!Bad buys i'm afraid! But on the whole KJ has worked magic! Keep it up KJ COYL!

Liam feeney is a confidence player who could easily come good and is worth perservering with. danny nguessan on the other hand is one of the worst millwall players I have seen. blackburn away all he did was give the ball away and run around like a headless chicken he might have been unstoppable playing in league 2 but will never ever do well at championship standard. KJ has to take risks with his signings some pay off some dont. in KJ we should all trust!

Dany ngussen is not a good player, I don't think he has the right attitude. He has a few stints at that's it
