I have a few interesting rumours.
Frank Lampard may be heading over to the MLS sometime soon. LA Galaxy will offer expensive wages to him, somewhat similar to David Beckham, around £4 Million a year.
Real Madrid have joined PSG to try lure Ashley Cole to the Bernabéu Stadium. The Big-spenders may make a move in the summer.
Joe Cole, will ask for a £3.6m pay-off in January, as the 31 year old is not in Brendan Rodgers plans.
Russian League Club Anzhi Makhachkala have joined the race to sign Wesley Sneijder, Manchester United have come close to signing him before but Makhachkala are prepared to pay up to £25m for him.

Crystal Palace are set to raid Ian Holloway's old club Blackpool in January in an effort to get Palace's promotion bid back on track. Neal Eardley is thought to be Holloway's solution to Palace's problem at RB, while Tiago Gomes is also set to come under a bid from Holloway as Blackpool look to ship him out in January rather than lose him for nothing when his contract is up in the summer.
Albert Adomah of Bristol City is also linked with Palace pending whether Zaha is still a Palace player come February.

Coventry set to sign Bailey on loan from Derby until the end of the season. Leon C to sign a short term contract as a replacement for McGoldrick, who has rejected any move to Coventry.
Big problems for Coventry though as SISU the owners battle to gain a decent deal for the stadium. Coventry council and ACL are insisting that the football club need to slash their wage bill and slash the playing squad before they negotiate rent.
If fans don't rally behind SISU, the Council and ACL will undermine the club on the pitch

Buckley looks a good player but I'm confused as to where he'd fit in? Attacking midfielders/wingers are an area we are strong in. Lallana and Ramirez are two of our best players and Puncheon has arguably been our most consistent performer this season. Surely we buy in better than we already have?
The only thing correct here is....nothing. CMS can't score in championship do why would a premier club want him?
We're not strong in AM/wingers. We've struggled with Lallana being injured. And if Puncheon got injured we would have no replacement for him.
Our attacking midfield roles are split between Ramirez, Lallana, Puncheon, Guly and De Ridder. Guly and De Ridder are hardly world class.

I have news updates for Oxford United, It seems Paolo Di Canio, will allow Lee Cox to stay until the end of the season. There is also a deal looking likely for Chris Wilder to bring in Luke Rooney on a six month loan deal.

I've heard a few deals that should happen during the course of January.
Demba Ba is apparently set to Join Chelsea with Newcastle looking to take Loic Remy to replace him.
Manchester City are going to put in a high bid to attempt to sign Falcao from Athletico Madrid.
Southampton are going to sell Steve De Ridder to any willing Championship club with Bolton, Middlesborough, Leeds and Blackpool all said to be interested. This is to make room for the signing of Wellington Nem.
Reading are attempting to take Premiership experience and are looking to take Matthew Upson from Stoke City to improve the defence. Further news on Reading is that star striker Adam Le Fondre will face bids from several clubs in the Premiership and Championship with Sunderland, Blackburn, Bolton, Liverpool and Crystal Palace all thought to be interested.

Darren bent is on 80k a week no way any of those clubs will pay out those wages. Liverpool still owe Villa £15m for Downing {Ed001's Note - 15m? It seems to be going up with each report of the amount. There is a payment schedule to pay up the transfer fee, the period is limited by the FFP ruling. If it was 15m, then Liverpool would have a transfer embargo by now for missing payments.}

The fact he isn't starting at one club isn't necessarily representative of his ability. A lot of politics in football and he may just not be what the manager wants at Villa. Not everything is black and white, don't be so ignorant. Just because Bent doesn't start at Villa, doesn't mean he is useless. E.g. Liverpool only have Suarez up top currently, they could use an England international with 70 prem goals in 5 years, even if it's just as back up for Suarez.

After recent speculation, Darren Bent has been seen having a medical at Brighton and Hove Albion.
The seagulls are preparing a swap deal where they have had an accepted offer where they will swap Craig Mackail Smith along with a sum of £3.5 million.
With the recent arrival of the Belgian Benteke at Villa, Bent has been warming the bench, so the former Villa target man will be heading out in January
He's on roughly 40k a week, no chance brighton can afford that. Plus, Bent won't ever want to drop down a division this early in his career.
CMS is worth about 2 mill , bent far superior player , worth over 10 mill, so yea, Villa will swap, lol
Who has seen him having a medical? Didn't know that they were held in public. Why would Darren Bent want to join Brighton when he could probably join at least half of the premier league teams. Another championship supporter with ideas above their station I think.

I've heard this from several sources now. It is an
open topic for discussion around the club. Vale were
in for Hughesey but Shrewsbury have offered him
a regular starting slot at a higher level. Let's hope the Town fans get behind him as him and Luke
Rodgers fire us up the table! He's a great marksman
at this level and yes, he's had a chequered past,
but he has served his time in the eyes of the law and
he has a right to try to earn a living.
