Newcastle united fc news.
glenn will sign barnes and bales for 3 - 5 million each. he will also bid a cheeky 8 million pounds for crouch and will look to booster his defense will o'shea and upson. bramble and carr will be offloaded to fullham, bramble for 2 million and carr for 3 million. this is what i have heard from out new assistant nigel pierson. my grandfather knows his father in law well so i get some news.
Shewsbury Town fc news.
shrewsbury town will look to offload many players this winter window with burton, leo fortune-west, sorvell and drummond leaving. adaggio, hogg and cadwallader will go to banger city on loan and shrewsbury may offload in form striker derek asamoah to cardiff city, could be up to 2 million for the ghanian international.
Its reported that Newcastle have made a £6m bid for Curtis Davies, and also offers for Baines and Bale are on the table. Roeder is all set to make a bid for O'Shea as well to shore up the inexperienced backline. Its all up in the air with strikers as Roeder has now denied he has made a bid for Crouch. Apparently a move for young Ray Jones is almost done, and moves for Alan Smith an Huntelaar are in the pipeline. Expect signings straight away as Roeder knows he can't afford any more injuries and needs to act fast. Srnicek will stay on for the rest of the season as their are doubts over the fitness of their keepers. Also Newcastle and Spurs are reported to be in the lead for the signing of Giles Barnes of Derby. Hopefully there will be quite a few new faces at SJP.
I have heard transfer news from the continent prior to the reopening of the transfer window. Real Madrid boss Fabio Capello will look to offload strikers Ronaldo and Antonio Cassano for supposedly cut price deals in order to fund a move for FC Internazionale striker Adriano. The Brazilian has been tracked by Madrid for the past two seasons and a swap deal between Adriano and Ronaldo might be a possibility.
Liverpool will not have a massive transfer budget as there debts will be paid of and unlike Roman abramivich the billionaire trying to but Liverpool wants to make money out of the club and not splash tens of millions into transfer funds. expect 15-20million a year at the most. Liverpool currently have a good squad and benitez has spent a lot last summer on players. kevin nolan and vincent kompany will be Liverpools main targets in the summer. The big news of the summer though will be Frank Lampard going to barcelona and Xavi going the opposite way as a replacement for makele.
I had dinner tonight ( Friday ) at a small Turkish restaurant in Mayfair. At the next table was a group of Italians&as soon as they arrived I recognise one of them as ex Italy midfielder, whothink is now retired. There was nother young guy in his mid twenties. They were talking in Italian&in the middle of their conversation one of them said 'Watford'. Then the others all said ah Watford, ci ci. They then went through the rest of the London teams names&came back again to Watford several more times.
Watford need a new striker. possible from Italy
Portsmouth are set to be off put by Norwich's asking price for Rob Earnshaw, as his goals are vital to the club and would require alot more than £4.5m to replace him
Norwich's transfer targets do not suggest that they are looking to replace Earnshaw in the transfer window, and are mainly looking at players who have shone in the SPL, and are looking for their chance to step up to the English leagues, such as Stephen Pearson. The only striker who has been mentioned has been Derrick Riordan and that speculation has died off considerably over the past few weeks.
Earnshaw is happy at Norwich, and Norwich do not wish to sell, so the transfer fee is going to have to be extremely large to displace him. He is far more useful to the club than Dean Cashton was this time last year, who was just plodding along until the transfer window opened-and he went for £7.5m
Leeds and ipswich are leading the chace for swindon rightback jack smith, a fee of 300, 000 pounds could peruade swindon to sell as crippling cva payments coming up need to be paid.
I have heard that if Coventry City lose to either Southend or Bristol next week, Micky Adams will be looking for a new job.
The person most likly to replace him is Gary McCallister.
QPR hotshot Ray Jones is a target for Sheffield Utd, Celtic and Fulham but is more likely to go to Sheffield Utd as they are willing to pay the £500, 000 aking price but are will to add Neil Shipperly as bait.
Micah richards is nt gg to chelsea.instead he is gg to united despite the rivalry between e two clubs.he will replace neville.Hargreaves will come for sure.between 12 to 17 mil.a winger will come.lennon is a possibility which will see ronaldo slot on e left.
Celtic will be signing James Beattie (3.5mil) and lucas Neill (2.2mil) and Pressley (free) in january FACT watch this space
franck ribery 2 sign for 12 million pounds in jan. also nigel reo-coker will not be signing for arsenal as alan curbishley has persuaded him 2 stay. the sevilla duo navas and puerta are not going 2 be sold. arsenal will get gareth bale but in the summer for around 6 million. micah richards is going to chelsea but is not going 2 waste his career like SWP bcoz he will be the chelsea right back. madrid attempt 2 buy reyes but wenger says swap for robinho. this will evenyually get done by the summer. arsenal also 2 buy either buffon or akinfeev.
Arsenal line up nxt season:
Eboue Toure Senderos Bale
Hleb Fabregas Rosicky Ribery
Spurs will sell:
And they will bring in:
Routledge-recalled from loan
Craig Gordon is off to Arsenal.

In the summer their will sign Torres for 26m or Klass Jan Huntelaar for 14m, Simao for 13m or Nani for 8m, Kerlon for 9m, A.Ferdinand for 7m, Heitinga for 5m or Nelson for 4m or Rafinha for 7m to replace Neville, Moutinho for 13m or Van Der Vaart for 8m to replace Scholes. All this money will be made available by the sales of Fringe players like Brown(4-5m), fletcher(6m), Silvestre(6-7m), Smith(6m), Heinze(10m), Richardson(4-5m), Dave Jones(1m) n others plus the transfer budget of 35m+. Peace Out!!!Niko
Liverpool are to make 2 defensive signings in January. They will not make any signings up front until at least the summer. The only other possible signing is Javier Mascherano of West Ham but it is unlikely. Leighton Baines will come in for around £7 million and Lucas Neill will come in for about £2 million.
Benitez's hopeful starting XI:
Reina, Finnan, Carragher, Agger, Baines, Pennat, Gerrard, Riise, Bellamy, Kuyt
The right wing position will be rotated with Gerrard likely to shift back when Sissoko returns.
Aidy Boothroyd has confirmed his interest in both Rotherham's Will Hoskins and Billy Sharp of Scunthorpe
Expect at least one if not both to sign early next week
Football league 1 news
forest will make hoskins a prime target if they do not get him then aaron davis will be aimed at. nathan tyson will not leave in january but may move at the end of the season depending on whether or not forest get promoted to the championship. colin calderwood will also be aiming for a full back and a midfielder as the league 1 team are short on the 2 areas
As a close friend of Lucas Neills father in Australia, i can tell you that he has a verbal agreement to move to Barcelona in the transfer window. Neeskans has been monitoring his situation since the world cup and the two met in private last week to firm up the deal.
Also only a second hand rumour but apparently Blakcburn will be buying Darren Bent during the transfer window.
Aberdeen want to sign Hibs midfielder Dean Shiels. He is out of contract in the summer and available in January for a nominal fee. Midfielders Kyle Macaulay and Jamie Winter will be offloaded to make way for Shiels. Another player on the way out of Pittodrie could be Dyron Daal, after the arrival of Craig Brewster his future remains unclear. Gavin Rae has a slight possibility of joining his hometown club, Jimmy Calderwood sees him as a player to fall back upon if others fall through. One of them is understood to be Charlie Miller, who is set to negotiate an early release from his contract at Brann Bergen, and Calderwood is interested. The Dons also want a winger, and they are looking at launching a bid to sign Falkirks Alan Gow, out of contract at the end of the season, the Dons are looking into the possibility of signing a pre-contract agreement. Calderwood is a big fan of versatile players, and Stuart Duff is a player he holds in high regard. A move for the Dundee Utd player could be on the cards.
Harris will be leaving Forest, with Chambers and Hoskins coming in.
PS, It will take more than £1.7m to get Tyson.
MANCHESTER UNITED TRANSFER NEWS
SAF will be looking to add 2 or 3 players in January with an additional player or two this summer with additions to the youth squads. This upcoming window you can expect Hargreaves to move for around 17mil. In addition, don't be surprised if Fergie tries another loan deal for Nedved until the summer. A successor to Giggs will be found and will most likely be in the form of Nani or Quaresma, although I have it on very good sources that Aaron Lennon wants to play for Man Utd and if the opportunity came now he would jump at it. Torres will come in the summer as long as Atletico miss out on the CL. If they make it to Europe, expect Klose, Van huntelaar, or even Ibrahimovich to get a long hard look from SAF. What will be interesting is how they choose to spend the 25mil set aside for a signing of galactico proportions. There are probably only around 10 players on the planet who are worth such a sum, but there are a few that stick out. Kaka has been having trouble with milan and may be looking for a switch to an up and coming squad. (also watch Gourcuff, his young french teammate in midfield) Also, with rumours flying around Barca, don't expect fergie to ignore any chances to throw that 25 mil or more at a dinho, messi, or even eto'o.
Obviously the last part of the list is a speculative work at best, it is intriguing to know that in addition to the 25mil annual budget, plus the money made from RVN/ Obi Mikel sales as well as upcoming sales of fringe players, Utd still have a 25mil check burning a hole in their pocket. Happy New Year, Let the Chaos Begin!

To the arsenal fan that says Liverpool aren't getting henry and the club is over-rated, i do agree that we ain't getting him but it hurts to hear that you have to degrade other clubs.
Transfer rumours:- Liverpool to sign leighton baines this January for 6.5mil. pounds. Gonzalez will be sold. Lucas neill will be bought for 1mil. pounds. Derby youngster Giles Barnes will also be bought for 2.5mil.
Rafael Benitez plans to buy a new villa in Spain but does not plan to sign David Villa! The 2 strikers he is interested in are Klaas Jan Huntelaar and Jermain Defoe. Expect him to persue a bid for one of these in the summer.
York hotshot Clayton Donaldson is a target for Wolves. Mick McCarthy is set to bid £250, 000 for him.
Gareth Bale has 100% definetely signed for Man Utd. The Red Devils feel that british is the direction they want the team to go in. With the aquisition of Jermaine Defoe and Owen Hargreaves both in January or the summer, Man Utd will once again be a formidable force in Europe and England. Dont forget about James McCarthy.
Celtic will sign Scott Brown for 2m and David Marshall, Gary o connor on loan and if fergie is ready john o shea.Longer term kadlec will come in summer as will kev thompson and the search for a goalscorer continues.
Some SPL transfers for january!
Celtic will be singing an american central midfielder for around 1m. same kind of player as nial lennon
Also a shock suprise loan move for kieren richardson until the end of the season.
Rangers will bring on board Scott Brown for 3m, rangers only buy of january as financially can't afford it
Falkirk will release the news after the ICT match on saturday that stokes will be staying to the end of the year, Also in the new year falkirk will get Rab Douglas (ex celt/ scotland goalkeeper) on a free from liecester and darryl knight on loan from ipswich for a month.
United, Januray Transfers
Bale won't be coming to United. (Heinze and Evra, with Silvestre and O'Shea able to cope there. It'd be a mindless purchase.)
Manuel Fernandes may be brought in if Portsmouth can't agree a fee.
Hargreaves is unlikely to be bid for until summer.
Howard may sign permanently for Everton. Apparently there is interest from other Prem outfits (NUFC, with Given to sign for Arsenal at the end of the season etc etc) so Everton want to avoid a bidding war in the summer.
Micah Richards will hold out for his dream move to Arsenal. Richards is an Arsenal fan and would love to play for the team he supports. Expect a bid of around £12m to be accepted, raising to £18m with add-ons.
An interesting rumour i heard from one of my sources is that Arsenal will go after Ben Foster. Don't know how true it is but i think he would be a good signing for the future.
Luton Town are poised to sell Carlos Edwards in the January transfer window for around £2 million. Sunderland, Celtic, Birmingham and Watford all want the winger but it looks like Celtic will win the race for the Trinidad&Tobago international.
Gordon Strachan will make an offer to Man City for Distan and if it isn't accepted he will try to sign him on a pre contract.
