According to the Daily Star and BBC Sport (NOT a made up rumour), Nottingham Forest will not accept a offer less than £4,000,000 for full-back Chris Gunter, who is highly rated by Norwich City.(9)(7)Load of crapHe'll be a Forest player forever then! Not even the best full back in th championshio#p - quite a few ahead of him£4M - are you from another planet, Leicester and QPR are the only two teams throwing stupid money about, hes worth £1M + no more, so he will be playing with Forest in championship or Div 1 then.£4m Get real, he only sign for forest for £1.75m and that was 2 years ago. Everyone knows forest need to sort out thier finances and as they are only guaranteed £25m from the late Nigel Doughty over the next two years and they lost £11.4 last year! , so they don't have any spare cash to fall back on. They can't afford to ask silly prices for players and as chairman Frank Clark put "the golden goose has flown away" . Get ready for more hard times Forest fans.

Sheffield Wednesday owner is targeting MK Dons manager Karl Robinson, to take over the vacant managerial position at the club. Source very good friend of Mandaric's PA(3)(23)If I were Karl Robinson, I wouldn't want to work for Manderic: he's too flakey with his managers. Megosn is a duck but he's always been a duck and Manderic was happy to employ him. With the team third in the league, he could have been doing a whole lot worse and yet he's gone. i reckon Manderic did the same sort of thing at Leicester. Megson should ask him to put his severnece money into an off-shore bank account with Harry's.No way Robinson. Wednesday fans hate him with a passionWhy would they go for karl robinson when dave jones is the manager?Thats why Dave Jones has been appointed!Just out of interest, why do Wednesday fans hate K R?Because he is a smug scouse?.has not got a good word about wednesday and acted like a spoilt brat during and after the games this year

Kitson is the one who has been at the countyground recently to see us on two occasions , iI will believe it when its done , but am a bit sceptical(9)(8)

Why do you say this? or have you seen him, i own a hospitality box at swindon and i can say i have never seen himthe only people i have seen is lee peacock ex nearly retired and john salako working for sky oh i forgot Alan Mac also...Kitson please!! you must be the only person who has seen him???????? or was it your imagination.........Bless little Swindon's hearts. Kitson wouldn't drop to L2, and wouldn't have to either. I think someone is getting a little carried away with themselves.

Also, since when did players start turning up at clubs they might join to watch a couple of games before hand? LOL {Ed001's Note - that happens a lot actually.}

Despite a rash of injuries Wilder of Oxford has no intention of bringing in any loan
replacements in this window. Bit of a
surprise for fans of the yellows who
may see it has a lack of desire considering
their current position...a determined
effort to strengthen a play spot would
have seemed more logical.(1)(0)Small club with a Conference mentality and i hope you get stuffed saturday. You havent got any money which is why you put your tickets on sale for the Swindon game 4 months early and you couldnt afford to pay for the stand to put Swindon fans in and came out with some bullst story about potential traffic problems after we let you have 3500 at our place you have given us a piddly 1250 tickets. We expect nothing less from the lying Yellow bellies of Poxford as the condition was if we gave you the allocation of 3500 tickets you would put in a temporary stand for us.Think you may be right about the money side at Oxford. We are in trouble I think financially and I also think you will beat us on Saturday and also win the league. We have no big money backers, like Swindon and im not sure next season where that will leave you with the new regulations about finances. I also think if it there is any signs of money problems your manager will be off. I dont think he will stay long at Swindon anyway. But fair play to your team, bought some good players and play well as a team. And dont know where you got the crowd stuff from. If the truth be known, it was never really on the cards to put a 4th stand up for all manner of reasons.

Zac Aley Blackburn going to Southport(4)(3)Free agent. Feasible.

01 Mar 2012 15:52:25
Roberto Martinez is weighing up a 10
million pound bid to lure Andy Johnson
and Dickson Etuhu to the club.Fulham
would accept the bid however its likely
both players will reject the chance as
they believe Fulham are a more proven
Premiership side.

Is there a chance of this ED? {Ed001's Note - no idea sorry.}(2)(26)

No chanceThe transfer window is closed, when it next opens wigan will be a championship side no way johnson and etuhu will signYou cannot expect people to take this rumour seriously,
Johnson may have two good years left at best with no sell on value, Etuhu is also on his way down, cannot keep his place in Fulham team right now, again within a season he will have little or no sell on value.

In the summer Johnson won't command a fee much above £2M, and Etuhu would likely go for half of that.Well Johnson's contract expires at the end of the season thus is free, so do you think Etuhu is worth 10 million? haha

Chelsea are expected to offload
Malouda,Drogba,Ferreria and sell
Kalou in the summer. Also they will
bring in Moutinho,Hulk and perreria.

Anything on this Ed and do you think
it could happen? {Ed001's Note - I very much doubt those 3 will all arrive in the summer, though I would expect the outs to defo go.}(11)(7)I very much doubt they can 'sell' Kalou seeing as his contract expires this summer..

01 Mar 2012 15:30:23
There is rumours coming from a friend
of mine that if Blackburn go down
Yakubu will be in a bidding war
between Norwich,Swansea and Aston
Villa. However Celtic may also put in
a 2.5 million bid to sign him

Is there any chance or truth in this Ed????? {Ed001's Note - no idea, they haven't gone down yet. How the hell can anyone know what will happen if they do?}(8)(5)BullsteLambert of Norwich would not go for Yakubu, does not work hard enough for the team.

Portsmouth administrators have reported that the club may not be able to fulfill the fixtures this season!! Real possibility that the club maybe out of business and wound up soon.

source skysports news.

Sad day for the fans of football and for football in general!tommo(28)(5)Let it be a lesson to everyone....How exspensive that fa cup win was, having players they realy couldnt afford ,lets hope the best suporters in the world can get more than 12 thousand in to the ground saturdayYes please! That would mean all points gained agains pompey this season would be gone, meaning hammers loosing 6 points! C'mon UURRZZZI don't have any sympathy for them, they chose to vote against leeds when we had problems, so stuff them!I dont have sympathy for the club but i do towards the fans, im a leeds fan too and i dont wanna see any team go out of business. it's a bad thing for football in general. it just goes to show how lucky we leeds fans are, ok i dont like bates but at least we are 1 of only a handful of clubs actually running a profit! this situation at pompey could so easily have been us (leeds) not so long ago.

Tommo!Events like these should be a wake up call to
other clubs or one day it could come to a club near you maybe even one of the so called big boysLet them go under, its their own fault.

Love from all at Watford.Would be great news for super saints ,west ham lose 6 points only 1 for saints just goes to show chating doesnt paySome childish & selfish comments on this one. Pompey are a fine old club with support running through families and generations just like so many other football clubs. To look at their situation with 'serves you right' or how it might benefit your clu's promotion chances this season, is to miss the point of what English football means to so many. Be truly careful as it could be your team next!A fine old corrupt club mate ,who cheated there way to a fa cup win and premier ship football when realy they couldnt aford to pay elecy and gas bills but paid sol cambell and others 50 grand a week, serves them rightTo all those skates.. and thats not all of em i know , that laughed and made fun when the saints were having thier problems....U CREATED THIS , AND YOU DESERVE IT xTo all those people gloating at this, hope that this doesnt happen. There are teams living well beyond their means in all levels of English Football and that includes Portsmouths Rivals down the South Coast - If the Liebher Family decide that they want out the amount you are paying out on staff and players will rapidly become unsustainable and you could head the same way.. Its not inconcievable that one of the Major teams in english Football could go under. I for one think the game needs a rocket to wake itself up and as sad as it may be .. this may be it!

And to the comments from the Supporter of my Team (Watford) - gloating when you are in the same position as us is particularly stupid.. we came within a few days of being wound up last year and arent out of the woods yet! or had you forgotten! To the poster who says "YOU CREATED THIS". How did the fans create this? You are a mindless person who knows nothing. Did we ask or control how we got into this situation.....NO. SO GO HOME BACK UNDER YOUR ROCKWatford are nothing like Portsmouth. We came close and have learnt our lessons, our financials are only going to improve because unlike this bunch we didn't start whacking massive contracts on average players. It's their clubs fault, end of.I will welcom Pompey folding as I am a Bristol city fan. Then Coventry and Donny will go down :]And it would mean we (Nottm Forest) drop down a place in the league, but on the bright side we'd only be 8pts behind the sheep so when we play them and beat them at their place that would be down to 5 pts, sorry bring it on.. I can accept going into Admin once, but to let it happen twice no sympathyIf Pomey did go would it mean that only 2 teams went down? {Ed002's Note - Probably.}Or would 4 go up from lg1...... a very hopeful huddsfield fan.Well, i hate to see this happening, but as a saints fan, i must say that when it looked likely for us, all your fans could do was joke...now the tables have turned and you can take it back? I for one would hate to see you go under, i really mean that, BUT, there is a huge majority of fans that could have helped out alot more. I agree, PACKTHEPARK. 14k average is terrible...considering you need to fill FP twice a week to pay Kanu's wages...thats a joke. You needed every supporter to help, but most turned their backs, and are now having a squinny. Man up, accept you couldve helped. Here's to hoping you get a lifeline.Whats with all the Scummer fans saying we 'cheated' our way to FA Cup GLORY..........overspending is not cheating, just mis-management..........now go crawl back under your rock and think about all the people on our sort of wages (15k-30k) employed by Portsmouth FC who will probably be being made redundant, this is peoples lives were talking about not whos the better team, IDIOTS, GO ROT!!!! PUPYes you must be so proud that your club is putting so many people out of work. Have the St Johns Ambulance got their money this time? I doubt it. Joke of a club after the money they've earnt over the years, liquidate them or make them start in the Conference. This is the flip side of the coin. I'm sure the fans enjoyed the FA Cup final win and their premiership status, paid for with money they didn't really have. Now it's time to face grim reality.

Man u want a creative midfielder in July to add more firepower to the team. This midfielder could be kaka(6)(34)Or it could be a Kack signingKeep dreaming palWhy would he go to Man United? They won't even be the top team in their city in a couple of seasons time, let alone the Premiership! Can Kaka still run?

01 Mar 2012 13:39:29
Lee Barnard to sign for Swindon from Southampton on loan, reliable source(20)(16)His name keeps coming up and I think he would be an excellent signing for us! Who is your source though? I'd be surprised if L1 teams weren't after his services. I have seen that Bournemouth are interested and geographically I suppose it would make sense but I really hope that this happens! COYR

i have heard from a very good sorce, billy paynter to make a return(2)(15)If you mean to Swindon sorry dont believe it he had one good season with us and then thought he was the dogs bcks and never in this world is Paynter a championship player and i could of told him that but as usual he went for the money to Leeds and now he is in the wilderness. He shot himself in the foot and we havent forgotten him for turning he back on us. Thought he was big time and he has to remember before he came to us he was shipped out from every club as he couldnt hit a barn door. We turned him around as a player and he pooped on us.I have a taxi number and fare if he needs it. Probably miss the door though.

Leeds Fan.He had two good seasons or are you forgetting the Paynter cox partnership in which he assisted in 12 of Cox's goals...

The takeover at Reading has now been completed and ratified. This will be announced within the next fortnight.

Brian McDermott has been given license to start enquiries and has already sounded out the availability of Jamie Murphy from Motherwell, Jordan Rhodes from Huddersfield and Martyn Waghorn from Leicester. Reading have conceded defeat in the hunt for Mackail-Smith from Brighton.

The Matthew Connolly permanent deal at Reading is dependent on QPR staying up and Reading have opened talks with AEK Athens about former target Elfar Freyr Helgason. Fellow countrymen Kristján Flóki Finnbogason and Elías Már Ómarsson are currently training with Reading with a view to joining the academy. Reading have also been in touch with Chelsea about a possible loan for Sam Hutchinson but Chelsea want assurances that he would be a first team regular, which Reading are unable to guarantee.

Reading are focusing heavily on youth recruitment particularly following the announcement they will be aiming for Cat 1 Academy status. Expect to see several promising youngsters snapped up from other clubs on both a domestic and international level during the close season.

There have been enquiries about Gylfi Sigurdsson but Reading have given up hope on this. Swansea were close to signing Sigurdsson on a permanent deal but this has been scuppered as Markus Babbel wants to have a look at him in the summer before considering any bids. Due to Sigurdsson's form in the Premier League Hoffenheim believe that, if they do look to invest, they will be able to start a bidding war and get over £12m for the young Icelandic midfielder.

Ryan Bertrand has voiced his discontent at Chelsea as he was not provided with the opportunity to play in Cole's absence and would consider a move to Reading if promoted, however Brendan Rodgers is a known fan and Swansea have also been monitoring Bertrand's availability. Chelsea would be willing to sell but only with first refusal. Although Reading have Joseph Mills and Ian Harte at the moment this position is potentially a weak link and they are looking for reinforcements in the summer, especially if promoted where Harte's lack of pace and Mills' inexperience would be more of an issue.(13)(16)

01 Mar 2012 12:39:59
Nicky Shorey was due to join Reading on loan until the end of the season, however, it has come to light that he is close to completing his medical at West Ham.

Reading have also called a press conference at 15:00 to announce the unveiling of Tommy Smith.(3)(20)Nicky Shorey's medical is ongoing. It might be a while.

Press Conference was cancelled. Smith was driving to Reading and turned off.So basically your talking nonsense then trying to make up for it by back trackingIf you were a Reading fan you would know

01 Mar 2012 08:57:18
Blackpool are keen on signing Montpellier midfielder Remy Cabella on loan for next season. The youngster has been told by the French Ligue 1 leaders that he will be shipped out on loan as they feel he is not ready for Champions League football just yet. The French under 21 international player will sign in June on loan for a whole season.(8)(5)

01 Mar 2012 08:53:47
FC Porto are keen on signing Spain and Athletic Bilbao midfielder Javi Martinez in the summer. It is believed the Portuguese champions have already offered £17 million for the 23 year old.(8)(12)Martinez would have no interest in going to Porto and Bilbao certainly wouldn't sell for that price. He is a fantastic talent and many of the big european clubs are casting envious glances at a player who not only has been a fantastic midfielder but who also has looked classy most of this season playing CB

You'll go to hell you know.Every team in the champ and lower prem will be looking if that happens.Chris Gunter? Is there a more overrated full back in the country? Whinging, no end product waste of space. Oh and I'm a Forest season ticket holder!

David Bentley is set to sign for League 1 side Walsall on a months loan(5)(41)Spurs have had three enquiries for David Bentley. One from Reading, Forest and P'Boro. He wont drop to League 1.And probably on more wages than the entire Walsall teamDavid Bentley is injured which is why he would not be joining Middlesborough yesterday or Walsall today. He is likely to be out until the middle of April when he may resume training but is not likely to play again this season stop making up silly rumours.Ha ha ha, is that david bentley the newspaper seller.....

29 Feb 2012 18:21:01
Six clubs have made contact about signing Torino and Serbia under 21 midfielder Alen Stevanovic in the summer.
Arsenal have made contact for the 21 year old. Stevanovic is keen on a move to England as he feels he can break into the Serbia national side for the qualifiers for the Wolrd Cup. Arsene Wenger is still confident his belief bringing in younger players will benefit the club.
Another English side in Manchester United, as widely reported, have made a bid worth around £7 million for the youngster. Alex Ferguson is keen on bringing some young talent to Old Trafford from around Europe and see him as a long term replacement for Ryan Giggs.
Croatian outfit Hajduk Split are keen on the Serb. Manager Krasimir Balakov believes it would be possible to sign Stevanovic as its very close to his native Serbia and would also give him the chance of Champions League football, if not Europa League.
Struggling Premier League side Bolton Wanderers have made a bid to sign Stevanovic, but will only continue their interest if they stay in the division. Owen Coyle feels it would be impossible to sign someone of his calibre with the big clubs after him, if they were to go down a division.
Dutch side Feyenord have already had a bid accepted for the Serbian. The Dutch outfit bid around £4 million up front but with extra add ons worth around £8 million, depending on international caps and first team appearances for Feyenord. The side, who could be set for Europa League football next season, have acted quickly in case a 'bigger' club gazumos them in wages and asking price.
Finally, a fourth English club in Aston Villa, are keen on Stevanovic. Villa boss Alex McLeish is keen on bringing in a new midfielder with potential but knows if the Birmingham club don't finish in the top half, it could be very difficult to persuade Stevanovic to join.(3)(16)

29 Feb 2012 18:08:12
Valencia have made a £35 million summer swoop for Holland and Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder. The La Liga club are set to have all their debts cleared and will have around £60 million to spend once the season is over.(3)(35)Utter utter rubbish!Valencia aint got 35 million

29 Feb 2012 18:06:15
Arsenal are very close to signing Reuben Loftus Cheek from Chelsea in the summer. The 16 year old midfielder is wanted by a number of top European sides but is keen on staying in London. Loftus Cheek is wanting a move away from Stamford Bridge after Andre Villas Boas revealed that players will be brought to the club instead of being natured in the academy. The England under 16 international is keen on a move to The Gunners after declaring his admiration for what Arsene Wenger does with younger players.(0)(18)

29 Feb 2012 16:50:09
Heard a couple of rumours at Saturday's match that Watford could be taken over by a Malaysian billionaire soon.(5)(24)Fans never hear genuine rumours about new owners unless it comes directly from the football club itself. This one is straight from your imagination.

On a serious note though, Watford and Coventry are both very close to entering administration. Watford should get to the summer and then will need to sell a number of key players to stay afloat (for now). They were relying on the sale of Mariappa to Newcastle to keep them going.Worrying if thats true-Happening to far too many clubs, port Vale today in a bleak position. When will football learn?Absolute rubbish. Watford are in a much better position than most teams in the league. Yes we need to sell our best players every summer but we are in the process of paying off a loan and with the current owner keeping to his promise and putting money into the club we will hopefully be debt free next season.Watford were relying on selling Mariappa to keep them going, then sold Sordell for even more....hmmWatford for the first time are almost debt free, why does nobody noo anything about the clubs they post about.Watford are nowhere near administration. That's 'come straight from your imagination'. Bas's trust fund is over £100,000,000

29 Feb 2012 08:06:50
Norwich City are planning to land either Robert Snodgrass or Matt Phillips in the summer transfer window(15)(31)Norwich have a small transfer budget for 2012-2013 season as they need to balance their books they will try to sign Peter Whittingham for a Million if Cardiff don't get promoted this season.Norwich transfer budget for 2011/2 stetched to £8m+ on Morison, Vaughan, Ayala, Bennett(s) R and E. Think 2012/3 budget can stretch to £5m for Snoddy, but do we need him? Most budget likely to go on Rodrigues recouping large amounts by selling Moro.I dont think so what I have been told is that the budget is tight ,and a few fringe players will be leaving to fund transfers, if we also stay up next season alot more money will be given to Paul for our third season back we we belong. As a Leeds fan Snoddy is a very talented footballer, whether he could cope with the pace of the premiership is the only question. Then again isnt Wes Hoolahan (spelling may be wrong) slow and doing fairly well ?Who writes this rubbish, NCFC Budget will be at least the same as this season which amounts to some £15M on transfers, remember we have huge revenue now of well over £50M and while they will pay off some debt, they actually only have a debt of approx £20M which is nothing for a premier league club, we also get great support nearly 27,000 sell out every week, unlike Wigan, Bolton etc and we do not have massive pay structure either so there will be plenty of funds for next season.
Lambert will get rid of at least five players, Martin,Wilbraham and Crofts, and possibly Barnett will be sold, Drury & Lappin released on a free.
He will not target Snodgrass, he bought Pilkington instead who has proved was a much better buy.
He will try to Buy Naughton, and also target Gunter at Notts Forest. and look for an established striker, and at least another winger Phillips or Whittingham, plus another left back,
Expect Corry Smith & Tom Adeyemi to be brought back into fold for pre- season to see if they can make the step up......

28 Feb 2012 23:10:52

28 Feb 2012 14:57:42
liam lawrence out to pompey on loan
e for permanently on end of season(7)(40)2 problems. 1) he's at Pompey so can't go out to Pompey. And 2) he's sort of a bit injured...Don't think soNo way at the moment. He came out last week & said he wanted to stay & take part in Pompeys battle against relegation. He also just joined Pompey Supporters Trust. Mind you, if Pompey don't look like the monies coming in by mid-March he might be shipped out by the administrator whether he likes it or not!He is out injured for at least another 3-4 weeks, so cant see it, Cotterill wanted him at Forest in Jan window on loan and he didnt want to come.

A Forest FanHe ll be back for boro at the weekend and players can refuse to leave, whatever the situation so I'll say he ll refuse to leave if he's tried to move on admin or not.Portsmouth fans are great and deserve more but the club itself cannot be allowed to keep buying or loaning players like their situation doesnt matter

28 Feb 2012 14:45:06
Danny Webber likely to go to china as the can offer him a far superior financial package compared to leeds.

The town are looking to bring in another striker this week.As for last night 60% of the game looked good yet lost.
All Evans could go on about was Shrewsbury's loss to Swindon, about time evans put 100% into the club rather than winge on about Swindon. Also don't be surprised if Evans is sacked(20)(7)Steve Evans should start to concentrate on Crawley rather than what Paolo d Canio is doing at Swindon, i think he is a little jealous ie the ground, players budget, and crowd attendences, i think he is feeling the pressure, the same applies to the Shrewsbury manager moaning that they were the better team at Swindon, fact is it was agame of two halfs, and Swindon won and got all three points playing bad whats that say......As a Swindon fan i hope he is sacked the guy is a disgrace on the sidelines spouting off to his players to break our players legs when we played them the other week and constantly in the face of the 4th official. Get him out of football.
I think Evans knows what is coming to him ie being sacked as i think his club are embarrassed by him as nearly all the clubs in L2 have reported him for the way he conducts himself which is totally unprofessional.Paolo won the mind games with Evans and the the two games against them 3-0 and 3-0. I hope Evans keeps going on about us if so it means he's lost the plot and his mind is not on the job.

He probably didnt like Paolo's quote when he said ' he is rough and i don't like him' and since then Evans has been having his little dig each time he gets a chance.

The big fat Scot needs to go back over the border.Evans is a disgrace..poor loser and not a sportsman like bone in his body. Even Crawley fans are embarrassed by him. He is everything a football Manager SHOULDN'T be. He praised Shrewsbury pre-match and when they lost he through his rattle and claimed "The result is a crime against all football"....rubbish you VAT dodger...Shrewsbury scored more than your lot...END OF!!Crawley have done brilliant this season, including knocking my team (Bristol C) out of the cup-Have gone off the boil lately and I cannot see why he behaves in this unnecessary manner

Leeds set to sign Matt Mills until the end of the season with the option to buy.

Would like to take this opportunity to thank Leicester City for there generosity once again giving us a gem of a player that they believe to be "horendous". Pearson has a soft spot for Leeds, by giving us the "horendous" Max Gradel and now the "horendous" Matt Mills. Much appreciated keep them coming Nigel!!

MOT(49)(20)Youll still stay in this division coz uncle ken will sell the team as and when his own coffers need topping up. the glory days came and went never to returnI'm not a Reading or Leicester fan but Mills is hugely hugely overrated. I'd have Adrian Mariappa or Rhys Williams over him anyday.Don't count your chickens. It's common knowledge here that Matt Mills is very unwilling to move to Leeds on loan, never mind on a permanent basis!'option to buy'? lol like leeds can afford 5mil.. and mills hasnt even confirmed he will go 2 uWell Schmeichel was unwilling to go to Leicester and that happened, besides Mills will be joining a far bigger club in LeedsU need to come to a Leicester game and watch mills okay he's absolute awful he carnt mark, kicks it out of play all the time, he's not a gem he's te!!As a Reading fan where he actually played reasonably well, I can tell you that the boy is trouble and very unsettling in the dressing room. He also has a tendancy to launch into a challenge and give away a penalty, and/or get a red card. He will blame all his team mates instead of accepting the blame for anything. And he is, I'm sorry to say, very over-rated.

Would we have him back? No.

Can we still believe he was sold for £5m? No. Madness!

I have a genuine soft spot for Leeds having lived there for 4 years until 2007. I took in a lot of games in the Revie end, and still didn't miss a Reading game at that time. I'm not so sure you'll like ol' Millsy.Mills and Kisnorbo at the back for Leeds? I can't wait to play them now!Leeds a far bigger club...lmfao wot a joker...u leeds fans are living in the past ur not a big club anymore...u have no money and no ambition...ur big players will leave in the summer and u will get rejects on loan to replace them....Leicester will be back in the premier League before u... FACTLeague table says differently pal as Leicester are below us. And because you put "FACT" does not automatically make it as such. crawl back in the hole you came from.Furthermore Kisnorbo is injuredBetter League Position
Better Average Attendance
Better and Larger Stadium
Better History
Better Fans

Leeds = Far bigger and better club than LeicesterThe comment above - as far as I'm concerned you don't have to have 'BIG' money to be a 'BIG' club you tool...and last time I checked Leeds were above Leicester in the table...Leeds are fast becoming leicester rejects fc..in the past few seasons you have had max gradel, paddy kisnorbo, alex bruce and now matt mills..none of which were good enough for are 1st team, now if your a "BIGGER" club then surely u wudnt need players like this?..have mills hes over ratedI'm a Leicester fan and completely agree but rumour out of the King Power Stadium is that him and Pearson had a big fight ending up in someone getting headbutted... I know which one I'd have headbutted and it wouldn't be Mills!Leeds bigger Leicester wot a bunch of gimps...like i said still living in the past...better stadium u off ur head?? u been to the king power? higher in the league by 4 points and we have a game in hand so hardly smashing us...u just keep feeding of rejects boys...simon grayson done well 4 u.. we'll c wot happens 2 u now u got neil wornock & no money...hes already said he retiring at the end of nxt season so bates really looking to the future...ur on a downward spiral...and another thing, the clubs reached an ageement on M. Mills 2 days ago & he still aint gone...he's really excited bout playing for a 'BIGGER' club tho ent he...u cnt even afford his wages u mugs...lolLeague position dont mean nothing u 'TOOL' just coz man city r above, UTD, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool does that make them a bigger team? post something worthwhile if ur gonna get involved u muppettSo in what ways are Leeds United not a bigger club than Leicester then? As stated above Leicester are not superior in anything but investment on players...... but we have all seen how well that has turned out for you side. From a Southampton fan here:
Personally I think that Matt Mills is a great player and for him to be going out on loan is ridiculous but obviously he's had a bust up with Pearson and is now out of favour.

Secondly for everyone arguing about Leicester and Leeds at the end of the day they are both extremely big clubs with big ambitions, with priorities like every other team promotion, they both have cracking squads, great support, stadiums etc the only difference is Leicester are willing to splash the cash whereas Leeds haven't got that sort of money to play around with and are going through tough times (like many other clubs) having sacked Grayson, lost key players such as Gradel, Beckford, Howson, Schmeichel, Johnson over the years and haven't really replaced them its understandable but with Leicester & Leeds fans bitching about one another surely you just be focused on your own club?In no respects are leicester bigger than leedsIf everyone looks at my previous posts i clearly said that 'LEEDS ARE NO LONGER A BIG CLUB' not 'LEICESTER ARE BIGGER THAN LEEDS' my posts just stat a fews home truths about Leeds' present situation and defend my own club at the same time..and as for the investment on players that was due to Sven. If NP had been there at the start off the season no doubt he would of spent more wisely and got us in the play-offs at least as he did before he got sackedMan City spent millions before they started challenging for anything but now look at em..leicesters season admittedly been poor compared to expectations but wen the tai owners took over it was a 5 years plan to get back in the prem...its been 1 and half seasons. Of which we have had so many managerial changes and wotnot...were still better equipped than most teams in championship to succeed in next season or twoM. Mills was born and raised in Leicester so would be surprised if he goes anywhere and if he does his heart wont be in it so dont expect anything specialWell said saints fan! Matt mills is a hot head at the back u fear a pen at Any point and a red card any other time, maybe Pearson not the right sort of manager for him? He was a good player for reading what changed ? Maybe if Pearson was a centre mid then there might not b a conflict? Remember mills is a Leicester boy, he might want to play for his home town club a little too much ? Just thoughts remember his reaction to his first goal u could tell he wanted to do it for the club. That said " thanks Matt mills! Your not a bad player, go Leeds for a bit, relieve the pressure on yer sen, come back, swallow your pride and lead us in the prem one day" to other lesta fans give the boy a break, he ain't no walshey but he was a one off gem, let's get outta the past and support the blue shirt whoever wears it!"Leeds a bigger club...lmfao wot a joker"

and

"Leeds bigger Leicester wot a bunch of gimps"

These are the posts I believe us Leeds fans are responding to which state otherwise.Leeds are not a bigger club anymore, they were once upon a time..when i wrote them posts i was replying to the fact that Leeds fan were automatically assuming they are better than Leicester wen as a matter of fact there pretty equal...it winds me up when ppl think Leicester are a small club wen there clearly not..u Leeds fans were applying that ur 'A FAR BIGGER CLUB' which is not true and disrespectful to Leicester fans..that is allPathetic comments above from both sides, grow upJog on u miserable git its only banterOk Leeds arent far bigger... Just better in every way ;)U got bout 2 good players..u were punching above your weight under grayson where as were under achieving...our team is MILES better thn urs and any1 thinks otherwise thn there seriously deluded

LeicesterLadHaha leicester city fans, saying leeds have no ambition, they wouldnt of hired neil warnock if they didntU ent got a clue...neil wornock has already said he's retiring at the end of next season so there really looking to the future ent they? and wornock is crap with no money...something bates wont give him...so yeah def no ambitionHaha nigel pearson is your manager, he cant even do a good job with all the money you have spent, so i think your the laughing stock here, with the record warnock has he is the best possible manager for any championship side, doubt you would be moaning if you had him as your managerWell well well how many leeds fans are tucking into a large slice of humble pie, sorry guys you are living in the past you may have a good away following but your glory days will not return with Uncle Scrooge bates in charge.....enjoy the slide and your brief dalliance with Wally Warnock. You BluesThe leicester fan above saying ' u been to the king power?' yeh I have, it has no atmosphere, no history, leeds are better and bigger. END OF.

Adam Smith recalled by Tottenham
Matt Mills available from Leicester
Ipswich planning to make moves for both of these on loan with a view to a permanent deal!(5)(27)Ipswich carnt afford matt mills m8 they aint got 5mAdam smith has been recalled because of the injury to Walker... so wont be going anywhere. Mills is off to LeedsWould need there heads examining if they would leave Leeds to go to Ipswich.Adam smith not starting games for leeds so think that is real reason he is going backMore chance than LUFC of tempting Mills, but can ITFC afford to pay £25k pw for a loan player?Take it from me, that no player will come to Ipswich thinking there's good money to be earnt, we are cutting our wage structure, as more is going out to players and agents, than what's coming in, cut your cloth accordingly springs to mind, Ipswich will be shipping out at least 6 high earning players in the summer, with the reliance of lower league players on lower wages coming in, and this will happen right across the spectrum of all league clubs who are living above their meansSmith is a England u 21 rb. Harry wont sell.We don't sign defenders ever so dont worry.

ps Leeds may get Mills on loan but no chance of Bates opening his cheque book for a permimant deal is there

Swindon are going to surprise a lot
of people with TWO loan signings before
the window closes...the two players
coming in will put big smiles on the
Swindon supporters already happy faces!
The striker in particular will be a cause
of celebration for them!!(23)(12)Don't you think its about time you should know who this striker is by now.. instead of all this suspense maybe your chairman should be pulling them strings a little tighter.... still though got me intrigued wonder who it is? i reckon its cox at west brom!I've heard a striker will be in tomorrow and potentially another midfield player.

One player has watched us twice in the last couple of weeks and the striker is coming from a team in a higher league. To the muppett above about our finances you are obviously an Oxford fan we get bigger crowds than anyone else in the league and more than most of the teams in L1 and we charge the most for games plus money from our cup run plus money from our cup final coming up and how would an person know like you what our finances are. we have also sent players out on loan. You need to worry about your poxy little ex conference team Poxford united. we are going up and you are staying down. The Paolo revolution is gathering pace.Paynter from LeedsMore likely this is BS, since its been going on for ages and nothing has happened! Our position in the league would suggest we do not need a strikerPaolo has said he is getting a striker so we will get one.I dont think we need a striker, we are scoring goals all over the pitch, but saying that we could do with a striker at the next level up.....The board are already getting set for next year with an average £100 increase per season ticket, this is to pay for Paolo's new contract and to give him the wage and transfer busget he needs for a promotion push in league 1.

I have heard we are interested in Ward back...Not sure what is meant by the post about Oxford. Im an Oxford supporter and in fact think Swindon are playing decent football and far better than us. You do not however have the biggest crowds in the league. Im not sure how our respective teams compare to crowds - I do know we take more fans to away games than anyone else in the division. The highest home attendances are at Bradford! But your crowds are decent and thats because of the football you play. As for the manager - not a fan im afraid and im not sure how long he will stay. Im also not sure about how your finances will stand up for next year and the new rulings. But I do think you will win this league come MayIf Benson gets injured we need cover for him as we dont have anyone else who can hold the ball up like him. So we need another striker and yes we are scoring all over the pitch but you still need that forward player to hold the ball up and bring other players into play. It's HeskeyHeskey?!?! The post say's it will put a smile on the Swindon Fans faces....not everyone elses!!

bristol city news, the board have two plans, if bristol city stay up they wiil sack mcinnes will be replaced by mick mc-carthy,

if bristol city go down they will keep mcinnes, but go into administration in the summer to clear debt and have a five year planning building new stadium and premiership football with premiership rugby all under one roof,(6)(24)Give mcinnis a chance the board need to back him he knows the players he wants there available in the summer city team unbalancedCannot see either of theseAnd i suppose Walt Disney will be making a film about this crazy rumour!!They should get rid of mcinnes now and bring in mcarthy now least we will have a better chance of staying up the players he has brought in r all scottish st that cant get a game

Mahamadou Diarra to fulham on short term deal until end of season.

Matt Mills on loan to leeds 90 days! (Matt to decide on whether his future lies away from king power stadium within the next day or 2)

Danny Webber likely to go to china as the can offer him a far superior financial package compared to leeds.

Also expect a defensive midfielder to join leeds on loan for 90 days Warnock already bemoaning the lack of defensive options at leeds so this could be anyone. (within reason)(13)(11)Your very welcome to liability mills fella,, hang on we've got a few more donkeys you can take with him,, you obviously enjoy our cast offs :-)One man's cast off is another man's treasure. I bet you wouldn't say no to Louis Saha but Everton gave him away. Just sayingHmmm liability mills. you wernt saying that when you 1st signed him, he doesn't all of a sudden go from the best defender in the championship to rubish in such a short time. he went to the wrong team thats all. as for liability he can be no worse than the other liabilities we have had at the back for the las 4-5 years!

tommoHow did he go to the wrong team thn?I dont think the way you guys are set up suits his type of game. not knocking you just saying your gamestyle does not suit him!

tommoYes I agree he doesn't suit our game tomo, our game is FOOTBALL and mr liability somehow can not grasp that. He'll do well at Leeds, hoof it up the park and hope 50 percent stay in play, which they don't. Can't wait for you to come back and say " he's a liability. I also agree with the other poster, does he think he's an English TEVEZ? LmfaoI dnt think thats the case! Some games he's been outstanding this season but others he aint turned up.. he has cost us at least 5 games tht i can think of...he has very poor discipline and now has fallen out with NP...i think if he sorts his attitude out thn he will once again be the top centre half outside the prem...if he goes to leeds and does well then Leicester wont sell him at the end lf the season unless they get the 5mil they paid which Leeds cnt afford

50As i said i wasnt knocking your team i just think your style doesn't suit him we all have our opinions i was just airing mine there was no need to get defensive. i think you guys need more of a phil jones/ thomas vermaelen kind of centre half, a player in that mould who is quick and can intercept.
Leeds need n out n out centre half stopper which is more of the mills mould.
That was the point i was trying to make.

oh and when i say thomas vermaelen i mean thomas in his 1st arsenal season!!
