Dave jones peter risdale at the villa blackburn game checking out steven reid blackburn and a cheeky punt at steve sidwell villa trust me boycie

After eclipsing Larsson to become the greatest ever SPL scorer Rangers Kris Boyd is set to sign a new contract.

Other info I have includes the possible departure of MacGregor to Spurs with Hutton involved in the deal.

Finally Pedro Mendes is expected to return to the EPL and sign for Birmingham with McFadden going in the opposite direction.

STOP the rumours about Fernandez Saez, he signed for us last summer!! We will not sell Degen, Babel or any first team/subs. Degen should be first team, not crappy Darby––terrible vs Reading. Degen should have played and I hope Rafa sees that. Babel should have played as well. No first team football in weeks.

Everton are bein a bit 'wishful'. Van Nistelrooy will not leave a championship chasing team for a relegation threatened one. You aint got any money so no Suarez, no Fernandes, and no BIG signings. You could hope for a 1–2m pound striker though.

Rumours about Kevin Nolan may carry some weight. He wasn't even in the match squad today for Newcastle at Plymouth.

Also heard Plymouth looking to sign Dexter Blackstock and will put in a cheeky bid for Matt Derbyshire

Also confirmed Ruud to join Liverpool with a possible move for Maxi Rodreguez (sorry for spelling)as well from Athletico.

Huge News:

I have heard this from 2 different sources with no connections.

HEART OF MIDLOTIAN to make no signings as owner vladimir romanov is only interested in selling but the only player leaving is lee wallace to wba for 2.7 million as no other valuable player is fit enough to pass a medical

Blackpool manager Ian Holloway may have scuppered Charlie Adam's move to Wolves.
Wolves boss Mick Mccarthy had apparently told Ian Holloway not to involve CA in his squad for their FA Cup tie with Ipswich, as after agreeing a undisclosed fee for the Blackpool midfielder with just personal terms to be agreed he didn't want the lad to be cup tied. This latest news may well see Newcastle rekindle their interest in him as Mike Ashley has promised transfer funds will be avaliable for Newcastle to strengthen their squad as they look to bounce straight back up, Newcastle boss Chris Hughton sees him as an ideal replacement for Kevin Nolan who looks set for a move to Everton.

These are the January transfers –

Chelsea need a goalkeeper to replace Petr Cech as he looks shaky so expect a bid of about 10 million pounds for Lyon keeper Hugo LLoris. They also want a speedy winger who can go past players so they will make a 12 million bid for Aaron Lennon. Ancelotti also wants a world class striker to partner Drogba, so will make a bid for either David Villa, Aguero or Ajax forward Luis Suarez. Chelsea will get rid of Kalou for 8 million and he will head to Arsenal, and Fulham will make a cheeky loan bid for the defender Paulo Ferreira.
There will be a Premier League merry–go–round with left backs, starting off with Paul Konchesky joining Charles N'Zogbia and Nicklas Bendtner at Birmingham with a combined fee for the trio of 23 million.
Konchesky's departure from Fulham will see them make a double bid for David Wheater (7 million) and Portsmouth defender Herman Hriedderssan (3 million). Portsmouth will accept any kind of decent money as they are in debt.
Portsmouth will then need a left back, so will make a 400k bid for Sunderland's George McCartney.
Sunderland will accept Portsmouth's bid as they will already have bought Herita Illunga from West Ham. (5 million)
Then West Ham will buy Birmingham's second choice left Franck Quedre with the money they got for Illunga. They will only use half of his money for the bid (2.5 million)
Tottenham will be the real wheelers and dealers of the January 2010 transfer window. They will sell Robbie Keane to Everton as they need a striker (10 million) and Pavlychenko will go to either Rubin Kazan or CSKA Moscow for 6 or 7 million. Jenas will go to Aston Villa for a 8 million pound fee. This gives Spurs 25 million pound too spend. They will spend this money on Manchester Citys Craig Bellamy (15 million) as he has already fallen out with their boss Roberto Mancini. Spurs will also make a 4 million pound bidd for Watford shot stopper Scott Loach.
An interesting piece of transfers would be a swap deal involving James Beattie and Jason Roberts. Roberts is transfer listed and Beattie as just fell out with Tony Pulis.
City will spend a staggering 65 millio on just 3 players!! Ajax's Luis Suarez will be the first to join for 28 million to replace Bellamy, and Angel Di Maria will join for 20 million to replace Martin Petrov, who will join Sunderland in a 9 million pound deal. Roberto Mancini also wants a centre back, so will make a 17 million bid for Juve defender Giorgio Chellini.
Liverpool's only signing of January will be Ruud Van Nisterooy, who will join in the next few days for 3 million.
West Ham will pull off an amazing transfer coup, they will sign Bourdeaux's Maroune Chamakh for 6.5 million. No–one will try and sign Chamakh apart from West Ham, as he is a free agent in the Summer. But West Ham badly need a striker, and quickly, so Chamakh is the perfect choice.
Man Utd will have a quiet January, with only Johnny Evans going out on loan to Wigan and bidding 15 million for CSKA Moscow keeper Igor Akinfeez.
Wigan wil also make a 2 million pound bid for Reading's Jobi McAnuff, after Charles N'Zogbia has joined Birmingham for 8 million.
Everton will also be busy in the transfer window. Robbie Keane will sign for 10 million and also will sign Galatasary's Arda Turan for 8 million. But they will need to sell to fund these, as Bill Kenright has only given David Moyes 7 million to spend. So they after sell Yakubu to Stoke for 11 million.
Watch this space. You heard it here first.

Does anyone have any real Celtic FC transfer news?

The American pipeline to Everton will keep flowing as David Moyes will unveil the signing of Wake Forest University wunderkind Corben Bone this week.

The Intermarket Group's bid to buy West Ham will meet CB Holdings valuation of the club next week. When the buy–out goes through, Intermarket have earmarked 15 million for Zola to improve his squad in January in order for West Ham to retain their Premier League status.

The group are keen for Zola/Clarke to stay on and want the money to be spent on a full back, striker and a winger. Intermarket have made it clear there is no need for them to sell any first team players when they take–over.

Nani is aware of situation and is currently pursuing a number of options which satisfy all possible ownership outcomes, targets currently include:

Paulo Ferreira – loan with option to buy
Massimo Oddo – free
Valon Behrami's international team mate Tranquillo Barnetta (6 million)
Pablo Osvaldo – loan with option to buy (5 million)
Jack Wilshere loan until end of season
Stefano Okaka – Loan with option to buy
Julio Baptista – Loan

Interestingly, the group are looking to the summer once West Ham's premier league status is guaranteed to make substantial changes to the running of the club and will look to make substantial investment into the playing squad around £40 million.

Manchester United are in no Financial trouble at all!!!

The glaziers borrowed the money and then switched it so that it is the club that owe the money not them... this means that they can sell up and make a huge profit if they needed so or couldnt afford the debt payments which are miniscure compared to the amount they rake in...

Anyway this january ferguson will either spend up the ronaldo money as he knows we hit our best form at the turn of the new year and fancies his chances in all competitions with no teams in the prem looking that good OR he will spend none to save the money for the next manager to take over in summer...
If he spends the money expect moves for GARY CAHILL, ANGEL DI MARIA with NANI going the other way, VAN DER VAART, AGUERO or another world class strike partner for Rooney who by the way would never go to Madrid, BERBATOV maybe used as bait in the deal for a striker as he has been a huge dissapointment since joining from Spurs

Bristol city will re–sign left back matt hill from wolves on loan for rest of season. They are also keen on preston's chris brown and brian howard of reading. Hearts won't sell andrew driver... At this stage.

Sunderland are looking for a striker and 2 full back. The answer to the striker problem is likely to be either bellamy, keane or heskey. the full backs will be hutton and figeroa

100% reliable information:

CHELSEA: Wont buy anybody as confirmed by Ancelotti. It was part of the contract agreement when Ancelotti went to Chelsea. After this transfer window closes, Chelsea plan to rely on players coming up through the ranks until they see out their transfer ban.

LIVERPOOL: Simply cannot afford to buy anybody. Having lost out on the Champions League money, Benitez will only be given some funds if they qualify for next years competition. Very worrying times at Anfield.

TOTTENHAM: David James is begging Redknapp to sign him as he wants to leave the sinking Pompey ship. The Tottenham Board will only allow this transfer as they have spent so much money in previous transfer windows. Will be allowed to reinvest Pavlychenko money if sold though.

ARSENAL: Looks like Gignac is on his way. Chamakh will sign pre contract agreement and join in the summer. Looking at Servet Cetin, will get him in January if Senderos leaves.

MAN U: Cannot afford major signings. Youth signings only a possiblity.

100% reliable information. Unfortunately cannot say who my sources are as that would blow their cover.

Just got in and i have seen van nistelroy going through Liverpool, i think he was in a Mercedes, look like he signing

AND I SWEAR THIS IS 100% TRUE

My mate just rung me up saying he saw rvn coming out of anfield in the back of a Mercedes

Portsmouth are going to have to consider the possibility of selling their best players for cut–price offers.

The club has excessive debts and is currently subject to a HMRC winding up order.

Players from the youth squad may have to be blooded as the club looks to somehow stay in the Premiership.

Players out in January:

David James (Tottenham/Everton/Wigan) £2m
Younes Kaboul (Tottenham/Hull) £2.5m
Papa Bouba Diop (Fulham/Wigan) £2m
Steve Finnan (Derby County) £1.25m
John Utaka (West Ham) £1.3m
Tal Ben Haim (Everton) £2m
Nadir Belhadj (Blackburn) £3m
Mike Williamson (Swansea) £500k
Hayden Mullins (QPR) £500k
Kanu (Wigan) FREE
Kevin Prince–Boateng (Fulham) £2.5m

The Premier League and FA are also due to talk with Peter Storrie next week.

I have never posted on this site before as the majority the gossip is from the papers.

However I have it from a realiable source that David Villa is joining arsenal.
It will either be in january or in the summer.

Came from a the sister of arsenal's no 14.

Up the gooners

Scunthorpes gary hooper to sign for leeds very soon after man united game and simon grayson also wants chris taylour oldham, and carl baker and owen fon williams stockport before end of the window baker and williams are going cheap but hooper will be 500k to 1millon

To all man utd fans Rooney won't go to Real. Ronaldo always wanted to cause trouble telling Real to get Rooney and Evans and Vidic it won't happen. Villa has already said that he would much prefer a move to utd than chelsea. If we miss out on him we won't be bidding for chamakh, it will either be Fabiano, Defoe or Dzeko, Vidic will be much harder to persuade to stay so if he goes expect a sneaky move for chiellini under city's noses, richards will probably be going to spurs but don't forget kjaer and rodwell. Silva is 100% in, the possibility of modric isn't high, nani the other way but saf will wait until next jan to snatch di maria, vdv won't go to utd or liverpool and neuer will be on his way to the theatre of dreams... Evans defo won't go either he'll be a great defender. tosic is going probably to sporting and utd will have mame biram diouf and obertan at their advantage!

To the guy who said arsene wenger to man city that will never happen. Arsenal to sign gignac and sakho in Jan and possibly chamakh in summer if he doesn't go to Manu

Firstly to the individual who said Shawcross to Everton for 8 million. Rubbish. Stoke turned down a far bigger offer from Spurs in the Summer and he has just signed a new contract.

As for Pulis overspending in the last window–where do some get this nonsense from? Peter Coates has given him a healthy amount to spend.

Stoke want Kenwyne Jones and Bruce will let him go IF he can land a mystery replacement.

Stoke have had a bid for Scott Parker accepted but are now looking elsewhere as his injury worse than originally feared. Jenas a target as he was in the Summer.

Alex Smithies will sign but will be loaned back until the end of the season.

Out– Beattie is wanted by Blackburn. Kitson a possible move to West Ham in a player swap believed to be Noble.

Also out– Andy Griffin and Leon Cort.

Victor Moses remains a target but Stoke have been knocked back in their original bid.

Hello, me again! has anybody got any transfer news/rumours about birmingham city please. i know mccleish keeps saying that he will only sign 1 or 2 players but i want more than that lol
carl sumner

Got to laugh as some of these rumours.
Michael Johnson out of City for £5M – he just done his cruciate so is out for the rest of the season!
Micah Richard to be sold – oh yes.... City have a glut of defenders – Kolo at ACN, Lescott injured, Bridge injured, Sylvinho old and slow – no chance of Micah being let go.

Now – the only clubs with money are City and Chelsea – both need to spend. All other clubs will be looking for bargain basement deals

Sadly Rooney will not be going to Real – until the summer. Aguero will not be going to OT. Manure have no money.

Robinho will be going to Barca however – IF – Barca agree to sell Ibrahimovic in exchange

Expect a cheeky bid from City for Gerrard and Torres – both will fail – for now. This will be different in the summer

Benjani will be going to Bolton and Caiceido to Hull on loan. Bellamy is going nowhere – Mancini loves his passion.

One surprise could be Stephen Ireland to Arsenal – watch and see.

Heard from an unbelievable source that rangers are going to sign gattuso!!!!!

Anybody got any news on players in or out of coventry city

Wenger will make 2 signings and 1 sale this summer. Departing will be Phillippe Senderos to either Atletico or Everton, as he has no chance of breaking the partnership of Vermaelen and Gallas. One of the signings will be a replacement for Senderos. I would expect this to be none other than Sol Campbell on a free transfer. You may remember Wenger saying he would not move for Campbell unless there were departures in January, so Senderos' exit may see Campbell return to Arsenal. The other signing will be a target man to lead the line in the absence of van Persie. Wenger's targets are Jean–Pierre Ginac – £12m, Marouane Chamakh – £5m, Edin Dzeko – £15m and potentially a loan move for Klaas–Jan Huntelaar of Milan. Wenger has 'ruled out' a move for Huntelaar and Chamakh and Dzeko may be overpriced by Wolfsburg, so Ginac looks a good possibility.
Arsenal XI for the remainder of the season:
Almunia
Sagna Gallas Vermaelen Clichy
Fabregas Song Diaby
Nasri Arshavin
Ginac

Ethan Green

Sir, I doubt many of these but no more than Fulhams new loan striker, oh wait!!! he isn't new, hes been with the club for about three seasons now!!!! He has gone to greece from fulham on loan!! get the facts right mate!!!

this is a fact, Cardiff City news;

Steven Reid from Blackburn to CCS for loan to end of season. Same deal for Aston Villa's Fabian Delph. Finally is Daryl Murphy of Sunderland in a loan to end of season followed by a permanent deal in the region of £750 000 to £1 000 000. [FACT]

MAN UTD NEWS:
not much will be made in the way of spending money in january but there will be some business done Marouane Chamakh will sign a pre–contractual agreement so as to join united in the summer, Nani will be joining Benifica on loan until the summer with a first buy option and in return Man Utd will get first refusal on Angel Di Maria in the summer as he won't move now and risk his world cup place. joining in Nani's place will be Hatem Ben Arfa on a six months loan deal with first option on him for in the summer, depending on how he performs Man Utd will either sign him or Di Maria in the summer on a perminant basis. The only player that will be signed for cash in january will be Uros Cosic from CSKA Moscow. The players coming in over the summer will be one of Steven Defour or Yoann Gourcuff, one of Hatem Ben Arfa or Angel Di Maria and Jack Rodwell and of course Marouane Chamakh. the only thing that could alter this is if someone tries to sign Jack Rodwell in january in which case Man Utd will battle it out with them.

Bristol city will sign peter halmosi from hull for 800k Is there any other rumours

To the gut who said

I have posted similar on here quite a few times but it hasnt made the cut The lad who said no one knows whats going on at anfield is spot on. I know a few people who play in the youth set up and ressies and they all say the same, its all being held at a high level the only certs are torres is going nowhere!
I personally think Rodriguez is a done deal. I don't think he'll buy a right back as carra can cover and we also have stephen derby, Johnsons only out for 4–5 weeks! Rodriguez can and has played on either wing and up front giving us a lot of options therefore i think the money raised thru sales will go on young up and coming players possibly Saez? apart from this i don't see us buying anyone else, i can however see Moses come in on a loan to buy deal.

I've noticed that a lot of people on here have been posting the 'Aguero to Man United' rumour lately..is there really any foundation of this news? i'd just glad to know that...i've heard that United are tracking Benzema although it looks highly unlikely in the January transfer window...
Sir Alex is also trying to sign a midfielder with Silva Di Maria Ben Arfa and Krasic all on his radar..

Arsenal: Chamakh not comin' in Jan fo sho! Expect guys like Carlton Cole n Gignac to head to Arsenal if Wenger's up 4 it. Sakho too a possibility.

Cardiff city.
brett pitman from bournmouth is having medical monday.
cardiff are paying 500 000 for the striker with add ons if they get promoted in next 2 years.
not sure if hes any good, never heard of him, but its from very good source.

After a week of negotiations Rafa has failed to tempt Pandev away from Inter. The player has made his preference clear. Attentions will be turned to increasing the threat from the wings. A loan deal is all but complete for Maxi Rodreguez from Atletico Madrid. If enough funds are raised through sales expect a bid for Arda Turan. If not, a loan deal for Van der Vaart is being lined up. With Ngog's progress, Rafa dies not see a need for another striker. He jut wants more attacking threat from wide. Cover for RB is actively being sought also

I have just spotted kevin nolan, steven taylor and david wheater outside birmingham city's training ground! My source tells me the fee for nolan and taylor is franck queudrue + kevin phillips + £2mil. Dvid wheater is expected to be £2mil plus marcus bent on a permenant deal.
There has also been speculation that Tuncay will possibly join the brummies as he has not had the greatest of times at the briittania stadium. Last but not least expect a sneaky bid for RVN by Birmingham to snatch him under liverpools noses, but its likely the dutch striker will choose liverpool over birmingham so kevin kuranyi whoose name keeps poping up at Birmingham City.

Co2

Ryan Babel is off to Birmingham for a fee of £9m plus £2m performance based bonuses by the end of the season. Andriy Voronin is currently on holidays with his wife in Miami after being told he has no future at Liverpool and will be sold in January. CSKA Moscow, Rubin Kazan and Hertha Berlin are all preparing £3m bid for him. Andrea Dossena's move to Napoli is back on after they were willing to accept Dossena's wage demands. He will join the Italian side for £3.5m. Philipp Degen is off to either Greece or Turkey, with Panathinaikos and Besiktas readying £1.5m bids for the Swiss defender.

Rafa has completed a deal with Atletico Madrid that brings Maxi Rodriguez to Anfield on a 6 month loan deal. He will also sign a pre contract on arrival. Arda Turan will also join to occupy the opposite flank for a fee of £11m. Vasilis Torosidis will join the Merseysiders for a fee of £4m, as cover for the injured Glen Johnson and as better competition for the right back spot. Ruud Van Nisterooy will join Liverpool in loan as a back up striker for Torres. The last £2m will be spent on Cadiz superstarlet Fernandez Saez as his fee will rise in the summer and Rafa does not want to wait that long or pay too much.

Inter Milan are set to launch a shock £8 million bid for Ryan Babel. Currently Arsenal are interested in the Liverpool forward and so are ambitious Birmingham. Andrei Voronin is on the verge of a £2 million return to Hertha Berlin whilst Andrea Dossena could be heading to Fiorentina for £5 million.
The funds will be mainly saved for the summer when a deal to bring Scott Parker for around £6 million is likely to go ahead with Javier Mascherano likely to leave for Barcelona for around £30 million. This will allow Rafa to finally bring in another big striker – of the David Villa sort.
=v1=

Liverpool hope to sign Luis Suarez from Ajax this January. Benitez thinks it will take a while for Suarez to get the hang of English football and the next 6months would be perfect for him to do that. The move will cost 8mil + Ryan Babel.

Voronin and Dossena will also leave this January for 2.5mil and 4mil respectively. There are also 2 un–named teams chasing Nabil El Zhar in a 2mil deal.

Ruud Van Nistelrooy will also join on loan, as will Maxi Rodriguez.

Rafa Benitez has outlined plans to bring in 3 players on 6 month loan deals; Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Rafael Van Der Vaart from Real Madrid and Maxi Rodriguez from Atletico. All 3 additions could be signed permanently in the summer although Benitez may opt to sign a younger striker rather than keep Van Nistelrooy who is very much a short term solution.
Benitez is hoping to put out the following team against Everton next month, with the match being aimed at as the date for Johnson's return.

Celtic to sign benni mccarthy from blackburn for £2.5m

TonyBhoy1888

Arsenal: Wenger to sign a target man, maybe heskey as i've said before
Villa: Martin O'Neill says he doesn't want to sign anyone
Birmingham: Though they are doing well, McLeish will bring in one player during the transfer window to guide them through the last half of the season.
Chelsea: Ancelotti may bring in Aguero but it looks unlikely he is going to sign anyone.
Everton: Everton may bring in another striker on loan or possibly buy due to the suspension of Jo.
Liverpool: May bring in another player. Benitez will be sacked if he doesn't do well by the end of Feburary as i've said before in these fourms.
Man City: Given may move and robinho and bellamy too.
Portsmouth: They will possibly bring more people in on loan.
West Ham: The Hammers will bring in a pacy forward.
All this information was gathered by me, most of it from the respective cities of the clubs I mentioned.

Milan are set to make a shock move for Fernando Torres. Arsene Wenger is certain to sign a striker, but it won't be Huntelaar or Chamakh.

Definate movers:

Sergio Aguero – £40,000, 000
Emile Heskey – £4, 000,000
Ryan Babel – £10,000, 000
Roman Pavlyuchenko – £7, 000,000
Salamon Kalou – £9, 000,000
David Villa – £45, 000,000
Rafael Van Der Vaart – Loan

Arsenal are most likely to get Kalou, as they want a cheap striker, and Chelsea don't need him.But there is also Andre Pierre Gignac.Wenger Has given up trying to sign Chamakh from Bordeaux, but because his contract runs out in the summer, Wenger is waiting patiently.
I don't think that David Villa will go anywhere this winter, because he's too much money.Jose Mourinho might be interested though, and Villa would be a brilliant strike partner for Eto.
Emile Heskey is definately going out of Villa Park, but where to? Birmingham, West Brom and Liverpool all could make bids, and at only £4, 000,000
Heskey is a bargain.
Sergio Aguero is a world class superstar and is playing well, but Athletico Madrid are not going to take him to the next level. With teams like Chelsea, Man Utd and Inter Milan all willing to put bids in for him, Aguero needs to choose wisely.
To get Rafael Van Der Vaart on loan, you've done well.Man Utd are the biggest contenders for his signature, but Liverpool could snatch him up from right under Ferguson's nose.
Roman Pavlyuchenko is not happy at White Hart Lane, and could go back Sparta Moskow. But also, Athletico Madrid were interested in the summer of 2008, and if Aguero leaves, Roman would be the answer.
Ryan Babel. On paper, he would be brilliant for Liverpool, but he can't seem to find his form.He has rejected moves to Fiorentina and Besiktas, but is probably looking for a club that will nurture him.He might have to wait until the summer.

Norwich City January Rumours

We all No The Obvious Outs, Jamie Cureton, Paul McVeigh and Simon Whaley, but There is likely to be several More feel the End of Paul Lamberts Boot. When Lambert Joined up with The canaries He was told There would Be very Small amounts of Money To spend (Thus Norwich's Board Scared of Failure), But Now Lambert has shown He's the Man for the Job Financial Backing will be Given. Russel Martin will be Signed Permantley for a Fee of Around 150k, Anthony Mcanamee Will also be signed Permantley for Around 300k, Many People are Questioning the signing of mcnamee due to the fact he's Only made Two appearences for the Canaries but this is Down to lambert currently not Having an Option on the right wing, This Problem will be Solved with the signing of Adomah For Simon Whaley and 100k. Then with the ability to change the Midfield From Lappin Russell Smith with no width to Mcnamee Russell Adomah with width as and when Form drops or Injuries Occure there Will be No need For So Many CM's that city have collected. This will spell The end Of matty Gill's and Owain Tudor Jones's Norwich Careers. With Birmingham set To sign a High Profile CB Martin Taylor will request Transfer Talks, Expect city To make an audacious bid To bring the Player Back To club (He loved his Time here). Lambert Is also Looking To sign a Striker, Lee Barnard being His main Target, Southend are Looking for around 250k for there Star Player which is attracting Much Intrest, City will Offer 250k, Jamie Cureton and Luke Daley On loan To clinch the Deal ahead Of other Clubs. If city Fail they will attempt to bring Back Kevin Lisbie, But with lambert Not keen on Players over the 30 mark The deal will Only go Through If ipswich set A "small" transfer fee

Danny Shittu
Brian Easton
Roy o'Donovan
Daryl Murphy

Man United are ready to snatch Van Der Vaart under Liverpool's nose after knowing he is available for loan. Sir Alex also wants a left sided midfielder with Di Maria and Ben Arfa being his top priorities..

Just Heard Cristiano Ronaldo has been seen in a famous Manchester hotel my source is very reliable as he works in the hotel.

THE FLY ON THE WALL

For this transfer window, Benitez is looking to sign:

Maxi Rodriguez (loan)
Roman Pavlyuchenko (loan swap with Babel)

In the summer, Benitez will decide whether to permenantly swap Pavlyuchenko for Babel. If he decides not to, Liverpool will make a move for Goran Pandev for free. This is more likely.

Rodriguez will be signed permenantly as well if he impresses on his loan deal on a free.

Liverpool will have 3 big–ish money signings in the summer. The first will be Luis Suarez for £15mil. He will mostly play on the left and look to cut in. The second will be Juan Mata who will fight with Suarez for a spot on the left. He will cost 10mil + Riera. Lastly, will be Giorgio Chiellini for 15mil who will play left back most of the time but can also play CB. Victor Moses will also join for 3.5mil.

First of all The reference to 'Mad Chinks' by a certain rangers fan was racist and ignorant. But sectarianism and racism is peculiar to the species
... Anyway, Mowbray will be under scrutiny on Sunday and anything less than victory for the Hoops will not only see his transfer budget on the line, but his less than impressive Celtic career in serious jeopardy.
The Robbie Keane rumours are wishfull thinking I'm afraid, we do have offers pending however, for Wheater or Pogatetz (Mid'bro), Kilgallon (Shef Utd), Bednar (WBA), Noel Hunt (Reading),
and a loan deal for homesick James McCarthy (Burn)
Big Ben Hutchison and Darren O'Dea may be re–called depending on who leaves in January.
The obvious candidates to go are MacManus, Naylor, Killen, Flood, Robson and Caldwell.
Others attracting interest – again depending on Old Firm outcome – are Brown, Boruc and McGinn.
Major changes are usually unlikely in a January window, but it is common knowledge that Mowbray was un–impressed with the squad he inherited and has a huge task on his hands for a quick fix as the co–efficient and C.L. qualification is more and more difficult due to the shocking, current standard of Scottish football. {editor's note – my apologies I missed the reference to mad chinks or it would not have gone on the site.}

Despite increased media speculation, Liverpool will not sign Ruud Van Nistelrooy at all from Real Madrid. Although he would be available on loan and free in the Summer, Rafa doesn't believe he can prove his fitness after a serious kneee injury last season and lack of games this season. Liverpool would also be reluctant to match his £140,000 a week wages. Rafael Van der Vaart is 60/40% in Liverpools favour at the moment on loan, he would prefer a permanent transfer if he is to leave Madrid so he can start settling down and resume high standard treatment on his wifes' breast cancer. Van der Vaart is willing to move to Liverpool its a case on whether a deal can be reached. Maxi Rodriguez is a definite target, Liverpool are in advanced talks to sign him either on loan or for a fantastic £3million transfer. It depends on whether Atletico have a bid for him from another club in January, if not, he will join Liverpool on loan and sign permanently in the Summer. This would allow Rafa to use Rodriguez as a right winger and use Dirk Kuyt as the striking cover needed if Torres gets injured. Van der Vaart will be used to play in the Gerrard role or on the wings if need be. If anyone club can sign these players its Liverpool. Liverpool have a great relationship with Atletico after the transfers of Torres and Luis Garcia, plus Liverpool turned down their first refusal offer on Florent Sinama Pongolle in order for Atletico to sign him. And with Real Madrid, the transfers of Alvaro Arbeloa, Xabi Alonso and the free signing of Jerzy Dudek were worked together by both clubs. These should all be completed by the middle of the month.

Rafa will tie up the deal for Maxi Rodriguez by January 5. The terms of the contract will be that it is a 6 month loan deal. As his contract with Atleti ends in the summer, Rafa will ask him to sign a pre contract so that he will be a permanent Liverpool player for another 3 seasons.

Liverpool fc
Defo to go are Dossena, Aurelio, Babel, Skrtel, Voronin. Riera and Benayoun may go.
Ins: maxi rodriguez(loan, sign in the summer), upson, LB, CM, LM.

For left bacl rafa will look to sign one of koncheskey(out of contract at the end of the season) or bridge(out of favour at city) to replace dossena and aurelio (dossena leaving as he is been crap and aurelio as he is stalling on a contract and rafa doesn't want him to leave in the summer for free)

Benayoun may go to city in a swap deal for bridge and barry or santa cruz. If its santa cruz, rafa will look to sign parker and if its barry rafa will turn his attentions to some one like beattie, RVN.

Rafa also lookin to sign a left mid and mata and turan are in his sights. Turan would cost around 10mill and with the sale of reira that would cover that. But if it was mata reira would be in a swap deal along with 10mill for him.

Lfc will sign husslep 1m rodriguez loan and will sign permanent in summer voronin 1m will leave in the summer carlton cole 20m(money from owners)mata 10m+riera (money will be funded from sale of babel for 10) dosseana 5m will leave and 5m from owners will be used to sign arda turan

Liverpool are set to complete deals to bring Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Maxi Rodriguez respectively on 6 month loan deals ahead of the next Premier League fixture with Spurs. Shortly after this, Rafa Benitez is also confident of signing £6 million Scott Parker with Andrei Voronin and Andrea Dossena on the verge of exits. Finally Aiden McGeady may be a surprise loan arrival from Celtic later this month whilst Benitez has also earmarked Roman Pavylchenko and Klaas Jan Huntelaar as back ups should the Van Nistelrooy move fall through but both of these will require Ryan Babel to be sold first. Arsenal are surprisingly interested in the Dutchman.

Some transfer rumours for this January–:
Ribery– Arsenal £30 million + Alex Song
David Villa – Chelsea for around £36 million
Robinho loan to either Ac or Inter Milan
Jermaine Beckford– Stoke £2 million + Ben Marshall on loan until end of season.

also Shay Given was not at all happy with Mark Hughes leaving Man. City and wants out– a shock move to either Manchester United or more likely Liverpool/ Valencia or Inter Milan.

Lastly, Barnet's Albert Adomah will snub offers from Blackpool and Norwich City to sign a lucrative 5 year deal at Notts County to make him one of their highest paid players behind Kasper Schmeichal, Lee Hughes and former Bees' temate Neal Bishop.

Greetings from Brazil, here is what I heard today. TV channel here showed a picture of Zezinho posing with an Arsenal shirt. They said a fee has been agreed but its not signed yet or player terms agreed. There is a change of club directors later this month and the new board have to approve it. Sandro to Spurs on the other hand, the player has agreed a move but the clubs haven't yet agreed a fee. The presenter said something about the manager wanting him to stay with the club until August 2010 before being allowed to leave.

Before I go back to the sun, just a quickly on the rumor on Huntelaar going to Arsenal. I doubt this will happen. There is a rule (article 5.3) that a player cannot play for 2 clubs in the same season. Mascherano had to get special permission before being allowed to play for Liverpool a couple of years back as he had 2 clubs. They appealed because it was a world cup year and he wasn't playing at West Ham and it endangered his world cup place. Of course Arsenal could try the same approach but I doubt it. Back to the sun, I'll let you have more Brazilan news as I hear it.
