Reading have made a bid to bring Jamie Cureton back to the Madejski, the striker is in talks now over a 800k bid and Shane Long going the other way on a season long loan
I love the persons who write up. The Tottenham fan who says Klose may move to WHL. He's already signed for Bayern. And the guy who talks about possible new signings for Wolves Matt Jarvis signed for us a week ago. He's in the bag. However, I know for a fact that neither Sharp nor Eastwood will sign for us. Healy will happen and there will be two more signings after that (both defensive). MM will use his current squad, loanees and the great crop of youth coming through the academy until the Jan window.
Newcastle will sign Geremi and Bridge both from Chelsea before the end of June. Obafemi Martins will commit his future to the club that is going places

Not sure either will go but Real will make a BIG effort to get Rafa, which could affect the Torres deal. Expect Sven Goran to start prevaricating over his Manchester City deal as well, as he hopes to become part of the ensuing management merry–go–round (not necessarily bad news for City of course. )

Hello one and all, Bonzos here with some Liverpool transfers to report.
First up, Torres is ALMOST coming. it's alomost done now but the snag is the price. Athletico want 28 million but Liverpool will only payout 26 million but Athletico will settle for 24 million + Cisse, to which Rafa will jump on. Next up is Mancini, again Mancini wants to move but Roma are holding out for 14 million + Bellamy but Rafa is only willing to pay out 10 million and Bellamy. the last two deals are being held up only by personal demands i.e. bonuses, signing on fees etc. and these are the Milito brothers who will arive for a combined fee of 16 million. apart from that the only other targets Rafa wants to add to his squad are sagnol (wierd eh? ), Tevez (competition is a problem) and Simao (stupid price 15 million+ ) and that will be all Stay Red People, the deals are on there way.
Erm, just to add how can Klose be on the verge on joining Tottenham when he's just signed for Bayern? Bent's a done deal at last medical on Friday. As too is Kaboul by next week. Jol is also looking at Kallstrom to improve our centre midfield to kick Jenas into touch. Also Kevin Nolan could be worth a sneaky bet. UP THE SPURS.
Martin Allen was on Talk Sport last night stating that he knows someone inside the Stadium of Light and they have told him that Sunderland have all but agreed to sign 2 defenders and a forward who are all full internationals for their respective countrys. He did not mention any names but he said they are of a high standard. Sunderland wanted to reveal them with the Anderson deal but it's still a case of 'dotting the i's and crossing the t's'
I suspect these players to be along the lines of Robinson/ Baines (although not full internationals) Mcshane and either Alan Smith or Nugent
Following the news that Inter have pulled out of the race to sign Tevez, and that Tottenham have agreed a fee to sign D Bent, expect LFC to announce the signings of Tevez and Torres within the next 7 days. Bent was holding out for Rafa to make an offer, this possibility has now diminished now that the Torres deal has been agreed in principle. Tevez does want a move to Serie A but Inter could not guarantee first team football, whereas Tevez has been told by Rafa that the proported TNT partnership is his preferred option up front. I hav heard from a source within parkhead that Celtic will be signing marceo rigters and possibly ron fanni within the next week. this will wrap up their summer spending. a few players have still to leave. apparently Jarosik has organised a farewell party in Glasgow nightclub one up this saturday. my source was unable to confirm what club he was moving to. the club are also said to be delighted at gettin nearly £2 million pound for the donkey that is Craig Beattie. others expected to leave parkhead are pressley and Miller.

Liverpool IN:
Fernando Torres WILL sign for Liverpool for #16 million + Garcia within the next couple of weeks.
Liverpool are ready to table a #25 million + Bellamy offer for Carlos Tevez. If unsuccessful, Liverpool will sign Michael Owen from Newcastle for his buyout Clause fee, believe to be between #9–11 million.
Liverpool will sign either G. Milito, Chivu OR Vincent Kompany.
The Reds are still interested in D. Alves, but at the moment the feeling is that they do not think he is worth the money the Sevilla will charge.
They are also interested in making a #5 million bid to try and land Leighton Baines from Wigan, but if this fails, they will take Chiellini on loan from Juventus for a season, with a view to buy.
Simao is expected to join Liverpool for #10 million.
Rafa also likes the look of Rafa Van Der Vaart, and might try an audacious bid of #4 million to land him. He also likes the look of Wes Sneijder too.
Celtic to sign Mark Reynolds from Motherwell for £400,000 and Adam Virgo, Also Stephen Appiah deal hinges on Graveson 2.5 million going to Sunderland or Everton. Jiri Jarosik 2 million deal to Birmingham or Middlesboro looks on after his last performances in the Premier League.
Carlos Tevez will be at West Ham next year. Only reason it's not been finalised is he's in Sth America playing in the Copa Cup. He will sign a permanent deal, do not know amount. I have been told that the West Ham Chairman wants to make a BIG signing and Carlos is his choice.
Nottm Forest are ready to table a bid for highly rated Leicester man Matty Fryatt. The bid is thought to be in the region of 900,000. Fryatt is very well respected by Calderwood and believes he can bag the player ay a lower price due to his injury prone season. Manderic and Allen are listening to offers for the Striker as they are in the market for Gravessen. The Foxes will need to raise up to 2 Mill to snare the ex Real Madrid player and offer him a contract that will attract him to the Championship. Fulham and Portsmouth are also interested. Fryatt is thought to be not interested in the move as he believes the Foxes rebuilding process is working and that they will be in the Premier league next season. Moving to forest would obviously be a step back for the impressive striker.

I am in HK and I know the company guy who sponsors the games on End of July in HK.
The very top guy in Liverpool confirm the team will come to HK to play with at least 2–3 new faces and some of them are well known super star.
So I guess Torres's deal is going to be done. The other one will be Henry (No. he is gone to Spain) But I am sure the positions will be either left wing and right wing.
I think you will see that Mr De Foe will make a short trip across the way to the Emirates to partner the Big Man Ade. After that who knows who Wenger will bring in.

Afc youngster Mark Randall to maybe replace Flamini that is why Mark Randall as of yet still hasen't gone on loan it is heard Mark Randall could well be the new David Bentley. Sagna's price is 2 high that is why he will probaly not move to Afc. With NUfc signing Mark Viduka expect Michael Owen to leave NUfc and probaly Move to Afc.
Jake who posted the Tottenham rumours, your rumours are quite obviously false as Klose as just joined Bayern. (Not that He would join Tottenham anyway) Villa rumours: Despite a lack of press speculation at Villa Park people need to relax MON is working on his targets&I have heard he may have a few deals 99& tied up but is waiting for the kit launch to have a large press conference. Expect the Reo Coker deal to be done before Friday with Davis set to join Fulham for around £4.5 million.

Senor Torres has stated his only destination away from Madrid is Anfield and this deal is now immenent. Luis Garcia IS the make weight in the deal as I believe Carra23 had previously mentioned, you should listen to this guy, he obviously knows what he is talking about, so take note: Fernando Torres will be a Liverpool player very shortly, the number 9 that the reds have been searching for since Fowler.

My friend Paul was on a golf trip yesterday and he overheard a conversation with some of the Liverpool youth team players who were teeing off after him. Apparently the new Brazilian kid Lucas is set to be part of Rafa's first team rather than being a part of the youth setup. They all seemed excited about Torres arriving but most of them seemed convinced that Samuel Eto'o will soon be joining him from Spain to create the most ultimate strike force in the Premier League.

Newcastle will complete the quad swoop of Rozenhal, Geremi, Edmilson and Baines by next Wednesday. They have not completed the signing of Rozenhal yet because Sam and Mike Ashley are still in negotiation about the amountof transfer budget he should get.
Real Madrid will once again attempt to lure Rafael Benitez to the Bernabeu and Arsene Wenger is also on the wanted list along with Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho. The Real board have put the 3 Premier League managers on their wish list which is also filled by names including Scolari and Lippi but is supposedly topped by Getafe manager Bernd Schuster.

On to rumours– Berbatov will play one more year at WHL and then assess his options. Aaron Lennon, however, wants a move and will either go to one of the big teams or Newcastle.

I have just got a post at the Evening Rumours Sports Desk in Edinburgh. The first story I was to work on was a mystery signing from Italy (sorry cannot disclose) for Hearts but it was pulled at the last minute as there are more signings on the way and Vlad is coming to unveil and to reap the praise. The players I have heard are Naismith (Killie £1. 25 million), Hart (Dons £350K), Severin (Dons £200K), Robson (Arabs £300K and Robbie Neilson) and Landon Donavon (MLS £1.2 million). Also heard Elliot is away on his return from Canada, may be part of the Naismith deal.

Expect major signings at Villa. I have contacts at both Villa Park and the training ground, two of whom are former Villa players who now work down there.
It will all start with Shaun Wright–Phillips signing for Villa next week. This will definitely happen as SWP's Dad, Ian Wright has already stated that his son will not sigh for Manchester City under Sven and that he sees Villa as the best location with the magnificent Martin O'Neill in charge.
Also set to sign early next week is Michael Owen for £9 million, he sees Villa and O'Neill as the best bet outside the top 4 and was shown round the Midland Giants new training ground by O'Neill and was blown away by the state of the art facilities. This is set to be the biggest shock move in the Premier League this summer.
Wesley Sneijder is also ready to sign next week in an £10 million deal Ajax; he too has been shown the new training ground and is keen to play for O'Neill.
Luke Young from Charlton is on his way for £3 million, and Scott Carson has already agreed a deal to be Villa's number one goalkeeper next season in a £5 million deal.
O'Neill has now wrapped up the signing of NRC for £8 million, and he will also be signing David Nugent, piping Sunderland with a deal worth £6.5 million. There is more to come too, as Mon wants to make sure that we have healthy competition for places.
