Barcelona to sign Man Utd's Christian Ronaldo by the first week of August. A fee of 28 million pounds hs been agreed by both clubs.Heard from a man utd office staff at a manchester restaurant.
Portsmouth are set to sign David Nugent from Preston in a £3.75 million deal. The striker could be 1 of 2 new strikers heading for Fratton Park - Anelka or Collins John could be the other. Expect the Stilian Petrov saga to reach its conclusion this weekend, with the Celtic player set to undergo a medical with Portsmouth in the next 72 hours, prior to a £5 million move on Monday. Harry Redknapp will also step up his persuit for a winger and will make a move for Dean Whithead or even James Milner. He will then look to conclude a transfer for Portugese ace, Manuel Fernandes in a £10 million deal, when he recovers from injury in about 3 - 4 weeks time. Harry Redknapp would also like to bring in Nijitap Geremi from Chelsea alongside Sylvain Distin from Man City and Ryan Nelson from Blackburn but he looks to make 5 - 6 more signings prior to the end of the transfer window. He is also after a goalkeeper and Jerzy Dudek is also a possibility. I would thing they would be Nugent, Anelka, Petrov, Dudek and Fernandes as well as possibly Geremi.

Wolves manager Mick McCarthey looks set to replace Paul Ince with Everton midfielder, Lee Carsley. Simon Davies or James McFadden, Allesandro Pistone, Andy Van Der Meyde and Gary Naysmith could also be on their way out of Goodison Park. David Moyes is looking to bring in 2 more signings - 1 could be Maniche or Malbranque.

New Wolves boss Mick McCarthy has drawn up a shortlist of new faces he wants to lift the club back into the Premiership. Arsenal striker Jeremie Aliadiere, who spent four months on loan at Molineux at the end of last season, has emerged as a top target to join the club on a permanent basis. Sunderland defender Stephen Wright is another player that McCarthy likes from his time with the Black Cats and could make an offer.

SAF has been playing a game with other clubs through the media, by saying he would be happy to start the season with what he has and such. when in truth he is about to tie up 3 more deals with 2 to come. the first 3 are carrick (as most know), mascherano and tevez are both due to sign next week. the other 2 he is after are toni and simao are also on his hit list. there are also 2 more players but SAF may wait until jan or even next summer they are sahin and rafinha. so cheer up united fans SAF knows what his doing.

Ashley cole will be sold to chelsea for around 22million or 10million and arsenal wiil get Wright Phillips.

Guti will cost as little as 3 mill as madrid continue their rebuilding. A shock signing could be portugals goalkeeper ricardo, i dont think he would be welcomeed with open arms though. Theres also a rumour that utd will go for jonathon woodgate as well. Again, he might be sold on the cheap. I can reveal why fernando torres has turned down man utd... Because he is waiting for liverpool. It seems to be common knowledge that liverpool are near to securing investment, which will see a big bid for torres. This will include luis garcia and harry kewell(who took his holiday in madrid and was spotted looking at houses). Torres has started taking English lessons and asked xabi alonso to find him a house. Xabi alonso and pepe reina begged him to join during the world cup and it looks like it worked. A deal mighn't be done until late august though.
Gareth Southgate is ready to sell stewart Downing to man u for big money so he can rebuild his squad. He will sign Steed Malbronque and a deal for robert huth will finally go through. i'd like to say how true'r words have neva bin spoken thn frm the man u fan yeaterday. i fear fergie has lost control and man utd's ship is sinking before it leaves the dock. our only possible signing seems to be that of michael carrick, and we're going to pay well over the odds for him(15-18mill). i was shocked and sort of outraged this week when ferguson came out and said he wasnt bothered if no players were signed, he also added that he didnt think the fans would be to dissappointed. what fans has he been talking to?we have some great centre mids coming through in dave jones and darron gibson but they just aren't ready. hopefully the rumours on here about mascherano will be true as he is a top player and would improve the side greatly. dont see the great urgency for an attacker but am very worried about the midfield. hey maybe their waitin till next year when lampard is available providing he doesnt sign a new deal it is reported that he could leave chelsea for under 5 million.

A mate of mine (an agent) has told me that West Ham are in a shock move to land Edgar Davids from Spurs. West Ham are looking to bolster their midfield whilst Tottenham have recently signed Didier Zakora. The fee is believed to be around £1.5million with the Dutchman stating that he would love to move to East London following allegations of a fall out with manager Martin Jol....You heard it here first!

I have a sneeky feeling that the speculation about the krafts takeover as Aug 1st will be the date that its announced, is not true.
A much better idea is Sept 1st when the transfer window is closed.
Just imagine if we came out with the fact we have just been taken over on Aug 1st and that we have got 190 mill from somewhere and newanfield is about to be built,
