I know that many people have said that 'arsenal will sign this guy and that guy, etc, and very few of them are likely, however, from what I can gather, arsenal will tie up a deal to sign shay given either in january or in summer, as wenger has long been an admirer, and given has been told tha due to some difficulties at newcastle, he may be sold – and arsenal is his preferred destination.
Steven taylor may sign, as he knows that newcastle are struggling, and in the same way wenger has always admired taylor, taylor has always wanted to play for wenger.
CHarles nzogbia is the other possible arsenal signing – his contract runs out at the end of the season, and with newcastle too bothered about renewing the contracts of their star players, he has become slightly forgotten. Thus, newcastle will accept a fairly small offer in order to not let him go for free in the summer.
As for Yaya toure, I doubt it, if he signs taylor, and sylvain distin (whom he has also been interested in) then he is likey to let toure (kolo) leave and go somewhere alse, in this case yaya will go to juventus/ wherever kolo is playing.

Let's face it Arshavin,Tevez and Ribery etc. will not happen Wenger has complete faith in the current squad and players like Song, Diaby and Denilson will not leave. He may add a new Defensive Midfielder and Centre–Back but that's it.
Celtic – Aiden McGeady was waiting for Celtic to get beat at Ibrox yesterday in a hope of "strengthing" his claim against them by getting the fans on his side. This has failed miserably, in fact so miserably that one song about him has his name out and Koki Mizunos in!! WGS will now field offers for McGeady from around £6–£9 if bidding war. Bobo Balde will go to Birmingham in January and look for Chris Killen going to Motherwell on loan till end of season and Donati to Italy (loan or £1.5m–£2m perm) Celtic will add in January, but now with 7 point lead not as earier anticipated. Along with Misun, McGinn, Zaluska who have all signed, Strachan will add more younger players now and supplement that with one huge loan deal HERNAN CRESPO!!! Crespo needs football and Celtic will give him that. 4 in a row here we go. The league race is over why don't you go home!!

My dad plays golf with the physio of arsenal and he says that wright–phillips will come as a swap with the out of favour toure. Plus that Tony Adams will come at the end of season as assistant manager now that pat rice is off.
Carlos Edwards to Barnsley for a record fee of £2m. Jamie Cureton will be one of two Strikers brought into the club as he is hitting form at just the right time and Norwich will be securing the permanent signing of Reading's Leroy Lita. The fee for Cureton is thought to be in the region of £500.000 – £750.000. The other striker is thought to be Aaron Mclean from Posh or David Connolly from Sunderland. Davey is also looking out for a left sided defender to help a possible push for the Play–Offs. Heinz Muller is unfortunately going to be on his way to Portsmouth as David James will be moving to Tottenham, the fee is thought to be around the £3m mark.

The club are in talks with Ajax about signing Edgar Manucharyan and Robbert Schilder. Expect a move to be made for Slovakian goalkeeper Jan Novota of FK DAC 1904.
Was chatting to Scott Duxburry after the Stoke game and he hinted that the following players will be leaving Upton Park in Jan; Walker, Collins, Gabbidon, Etherington, Stokes, Quashie, Bowyer and Cole. With the exception of Cole they are all squad players and will be easily replaced by the latest crop of Tony Carrs starlets. Most of the funds raised by the player sales will go straight into the club coffers but there will be a small outlay to replace Cole, he didn't say who but when i mentioned Heskey he just smiled and winked.

Pennant will be used as bait for Liverpool to land Heinz from Madrid.Babbel will be ditched to anyone as Rafa feels he is not a squad player and cannot cope with his constant sulking.
LIVERPOOL RUMOURS
Liverpool not be spending a huge amount of money in January, in fact none of the top 4 will, but some deals will be completed. Rafa is looking at a number of positions that need to be improved on but with a lack of money in Jan will need to 'wheel 'n' deal' to strengthen the squad. Players that are being considered for sale are, Itandje (has been available since summer, some interest from French clubs but no official offer as yet), Pennant (will definately be leaving in Jan 100%), Dossena (simply because of the emergence of Insua and the availability of Heinze, that will be discussed later, Rafa would allow Dossena to leave in order to raise funds), Voronin (Rafa trying to strike deal with Hertha that will see £500,000 knocked off the set price agreed at the start of the loan if the deal is completed in Jan). That pretty much completes who Liverpool may sell in January though some loans will be done with Plessis, Spearing and Nemeth looking to go into the championship for a few months.
The players Rafa is looking to bring to Anfield are, Gabriel Heinze (Real looking to offload the Argentinian that Rafa see's as a very versatile option, could cover LB or CB and would be happy with a bit–part role due to age), Now the RW spot is one that Rafa is looking to spend the most money on and has a few options that are being scouted at the moment, these are Kuba of Bor. Dortmund, Lafita of Deportivo La Coruna, Valencia of Wigan (unlikely due to price being £11m+), Lennon of Spurs (Redknapp wants Downing and with Bentley for RW Lennon may push for a deal) and finally Joaquin of Valencia (found form this season and Los Che need cash), these are the options for RW and expect to see one join next month. Finally Rafa is looking for a cheap striker that can lead the line if Torres is to get injured again and while Heskey is an option Rafa is much more interested in Zigic of Valencia who is available fairly cheap for the same reasons as Joaquin.
Don't expect massive money to be spent in Jan as simply LFC do not have it, however Gillett and Hicks have imformed Rafa that money is available to improve the squad and push for the title.
My PERSONAL OPINION is that this will happen:

Manchester United will loan number two goalkeeper Ben Foster to ex–club Stoke City if Thomas Sorensens, finger injury appears worse than first thought.
Blackburn Rovers News–Will sign Diouf 3.5million(Sunderland),Eboue 3million(Arsenal),Joaquin 7.5million (Valencia), Appiah Free. Sold will be Santa Cruz 18million(Arsenal,City or Real Madrid), Mokoena 1.5million(Stoke),Gallacher 1.5million(Plymouth). Big Sam will be handed a large budget in the summer to buy a center half,left–mid and a new Foward, if Rovers stay up.
Rangers want to complete a loan deal for West Ham's Julien Faubert.
Arsenal are looking to sign either M. Veloso or Sebastien Dubarbier from Cluj.
I am the person who posted the fact 2 months ago that Dean Ashton would not play for West Ham for the rest of the season. I have been proved correct as the info supplied was 100% correct. WHU have now announced it will be March but in March it will be announced they're getting him ready for next season and at the end of the season he'll retire. I also posted the fact about Tomas Rosicky of Arsenal failing a drug test last year and being banned for a year, he'll be back playing in April with no hint of an injury as Arsenal led evryone to believe.

seems to be forgetting that Tevez doesn't have a club, he's on loan to ManUre from his agent. Therefore he'll go wherever it takes to get the cash, even Arsenal, if United don't want to keep him.

Babel may go out on loan to try and regain some form, however this will not happen until the summer also. Keano will stay, this was the case even before his brace against Bolton, Expect Rafa to sign Valencia or Heskey in part exchange for Pennant from Wigan. Owen will not come back to Anfield.
