It is confirmed that rafa( if he is chosen to keep his reign as manger by new owners) will not have a budjet this year he will just be asked for his wishlist as you probaly no from this website jovanovic(ml, st) and jonjo shelvy(mc) have already be confirmed: onto rafa's shortlist:
GK: If cavalieri leaves(due to personal issues)the in order of favourites one of (W.Hennesy, Dida or believe it or not d.james(i doubt this, however strong links down south have informed me on a possible return to anfield for him)?

DEF:Rafa's only major ask is lb kolorav and talks are already undergo, he will be first choice and insua second with agger and WILSON as other cover.. fabio aurelio will leave on a free to either sevilla or italy,
If rafa leaaves he will take skrtel with him for £15 mil and cahil will replace him (£10mil) danny wilson will be brought in alongside fleck for £5mil plus loans back for the both of them however liverpool will have the option to recall them during january,
after this following season kygriagos will be offloaded and wilson will be his replacement,
Also my uncle has links with hughie mcauley–scout at liverpool and he has told me that he has been sent to scouth young progressing rb adam mathews(from cardiff)

MID: Gerrard and Mascherano will stay and form the cm partnership(lucas+ aqualini cover)
expect the major signings on the wings(especially lw), i have yet had no information on strong links however i do know some players linked D.silva(prob join Barca along with villa) ashley young +milner, turan and mata, , Rodriquez and Kuyt will be the only Wingers kept along with possibly babel also jovanovic can cover as lw, also john fleck

Stricker: Torres will stay as my best friends dad is applying the plumbing to his english (as he also has a spanish) agents house, he will give it until next year to see if his knee problem can be rosolved,
There will also be a argentian stricker joining either Higuain (something in alonso deal) tevez or aguero and following up from him being seen in a hotel, my work friens sore rafa in the back of a range rover with his window down and behind him may of been aguero however my friend was not certain, these very well have heading to a hotel (post before)
Pacheco and dalle valle will provide extra cover plus kuyt prefers stricker role.n'gog will be loanded to Bordeuax with first option of permanent deal ! made up if they decide to make it permanent !:)
Squad for next season:
Gk:
riena, hennesy, gulasci
Rb:

CB:
carragher, skrtel(prob)/cahil, kygriakos, agger (also cover at left back)

Kolorav, insua
CM:
Gerrard, Mascherano, Lucas, Aqualani, Shelvey ans maxi can cover there also maybe one of shortlisted wingers:turan silva, milner can play there..
RW:

LW:
Maybe babel, and maybe either turan silva mata and young also jovanovic can play LW
ST:
Torres, Higuain/tevez/aguero, pacheco, dalle valle and kuyt, jovanovic

Finally young players shortlisted for King Kenny:

Westham will do alot of deals between man city, cole and upson for swp, m richards, , , + cash deals for bellamy if spurs do not come in plus loan deal for santa cruz.. green does look set for arsenal so a 2 m bid kenny of sheff utd is coming. gold thinks that 10 players will leave and 7 will come in and none of them will earn more than 40,000 a week, pace is what he is looking for.

29 Apr 2010 21:20:26
Could anyone tell me if united have signed Dodo?
I thought they had first option to buy.

29 Apr 2010 20:57:40
Will you all stop about Bale going to united and esp £25m are ye mad he ain, t that good and why do we need him when we have evra and fabio and o, shea .he was at fault for at least 2 goals last wk. think modric deal is done deal as harry always sells good players to get cash flow plus he loves dealing with agents as we all know. there.ll be 2 more big signings and they won, t be the one's we all think SAF is to clever to let anyone know. goalie will only come in if other clubs go after the one he wants and Harry has first call on foster. expect a good few on way out this summer and alot more playing for there future with new manager coming .

29 Apr 2010 20:44:33
Liverpool are due to hold talks with Bolton next week over centre half Gary Cahill, Owen Coyle had previously stated he would not sell Cahill unless an unbelievable offer came in but today he has come out and said he will not stand in Cahills way if he wishes to leave, a fee of around £12million is expected to be agreed or maybe N'gog on loan for a year and £10million as Owen Coyle has spoken of his publicly spoken of his admiration for the young French forward.

29 Apr 2010 20:27:44
I read on hear earlier today that Liverpool were going to sign Van der Vaart, Silva[£25–£30m], Turan[[£15m] and Jovanovic and keeping Babel, of these we will see Jovanovic[free] and Van der Vaart[£8m bargain] next season , I know all these players can play attacking midfield but they are all essentialy natural left wingers so why is Rafa going to splash all his cash on left wingers , he is looking at Charles N'Zogbia[£9m] for the left side as he will be much cheaper than Silva or Turan and despite his starts of late I fully expect Babel to be leaving, Benayoun, Riera, Degen, Aurelio, Krygiakos and Cavalieri will be following him , and from what I hear Rafa will spend most of his money on Milner for the right side probably around the £20million mark. Rafa is looking at Kolarov for left back and he has already made an £8million bid, he is also looking for another centre half either Cahill or Kjaer depending on who is cheaper. If there is any money left over he will look to re–inforce his strike options with Cole[£10m] or Donovan[10m] the two fronting his wish list at the minute.I would love to see the likes of Aguero, Silva, Higuain, Tevez or Benzema aat Anfield but these guys are likely to cost around £30million plus massive wages and unless Bill Gates buys the club it is not going to happen.

29 Apr 2010 20:28:22
Arsenal want green and maybe cole man city want upson and probably scott parker west ham badly need wingers walcott and swp who don't hold down regular places in there sides you do the maths

I live opposite steven gerrard, (victoria rd, formby)and the rumour about his house being up for sale for 3.5m is a load of rubbish!
yes he is in the vincent hotel in southport, and there are plenty of rumours going around but his house isn't for sale.

isn't his house empty, 'cause they've got the builders in ?
Alex Curran has been quoted today, saying, "they are 100% committed to their marriage.. they're at his mothers and she's cooking great food for them ALL !"

make of it what you will

If Burnley do not get to 30 points then Brian Laws will be sacked at the end of the season making way for either Tony Mowbray or Nigel Pearson.
Burnley also want to resign Richard Chaplow on a free from PNE.
Barry Kilby has rated Steven Fletcher at £9mill.

A few LFC thoughts/observations:

1. Torres seems to have opened the door to leave LFC (using a poxy excuse if ever I heard one)..is this in case Rafa goes?

If he does go, based on his reasoning, why would anyone think it will be to Man City? They play in the same league as LFC don't they?

I can see him leaving but not to another English team. I don't want to see him go but imagine him playing in front of Messi at Barca? Frightening!

2. Rafa coming out with his nonsense today about he hasn't been given any assurances by the club as to his future. What? The club is up for sale FFS. How can his current employer give him assurances about what his new employer's plans are? Sounds more like he could be opening the door to leave and this uncertainty would be his excuse for going. Can't say I'm too bothered to be honest. There's some right crap that's been playing in red shirts in recent seasons. The crap tactics, team set up and style of play must bore the players to death, never mind us fans.

3. Any potential purchase of LFC will be under strict Non Disclosure Agreements, hence the new chairman stating in his recent interview that no comments, statements, etc will be made during the sale process. I personally wouldn't be against the Chinese bid, assuming they would be good custodians of the club. What an incredible market China would be commercially. Sign a Chinese lad and watch the cash flow in ;–)).

Oh, and my LFC connections are that I used to go out beering with Paul Jewell when he was in the rezzies and I often see Ian Rush to walk past (when he's walking his dog) and Barnesy in Tescos ..well it's as good as some of the dubious connections you see on here!!

Big bristol rovers news, rovers will have too go into administration and will have too sell most of the main stream players, even the ground may have too be sold!

Can confirm this is not true.

The club is in good health, and despite the set backs in redeveloping the ground, the club is not in danger of going under and the club is confident of getting into the play–offs next season.

The club won't be over–spending and will look to loans from Premiership and Championship clubs as well as cheap buys from League Two and Non–League. The core of the squad will stay, but it is hoped that we can sign the following players in the summer:

Justin Richards (Cheltenham)
Charlie Griffin (Stevenage)
Peter Enckelman (Cardiff – loan)
Cillian Sheridan (Celtic)
Corry Evans (Manchester United – loan)
Robbie Threlfall (Liverpool – FREE)
Michail Antonio (Reading)
Nicky Wroe (Torquay)
Elliott Benyon (Torquay)
Saul Deeney (Derby)
––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

How true is this mate? I thought we'd be back in for Heffernan and Jones?

Unsigned asked at 29 Apr 2010 16:28:25:
"Liverpool's last game will be played with the word Carlsberg written in Chinese. Are looking at a Chinese consortium take over?"

It is a gimmick by Carlsberg to get some publicity in Asia and the Far East. Of course it does not mean that there will not be a takeover by a Chinese consortium – but it does not mean that there will be. But it is a great way of getting publicity by Carlsberg – not only in Asia but also on every English language football forum. No doubt there will be a mass of conspiracy theories by the morning. Sharkey.

Southampton fc rumour!!
I've heard from a reliable source that Southampton are going to sign Hayden Mullins from our cashless rivals pompey for 1mil and pardew's main priority is to sign a RM as antonio has just extended his contract at Reading by another year although papa waigo could sign pernamently.

29 Apr 2010 16:46:26
No Liverpool are having the names in Chinese because of the World Expo being held in Shanghai i think, we are the only British City involved.

Rafa to stay for one more season at least. I would not expect a big budget but at least what Rafa has had previously 20m–30m or so. If a player is worth a bit more then money from the sale of players may be used to up the kitty slightly. Hopefully only Reira will be the biggest name out with the likes of Babel on a swap for Turan and maybe a few academy players out to good Premier League or First Division teams on loan. I would not expect anymore than three players to come in with a Winger (Turan, Mata, cole or Milner) and attacking left sided full back (taiwo etc) Jovanovic is a free deal so a back up striker as Jovanovic i see as a left sided player and not an out and out striker. So maybe Kenwyne Jones or another British striker.

Doyley

Luka Modric will not be leaving tottenham nor will Gareth Bale. Especially for the fees being bandled around here considering we payed 16.5 million for him with another two years prem experience at least 30–40m minimum. Bale will not leave for any price.

Tottenham to sign:
Micah Richards
Sandro(done)
Stephen Ireland
Eidur Gudjohnsen(permanent)

29 Apr 2010 15:47:30
Torres may well leave anfield this summer but it won't be to another english team. Torres has made no secret of his dislike for the physical nature of the EPL and realises that 3–4 more seasons here will have a serious effect on his long term future. its pretty much the same senario with ronaldo and one of the key reasons for him leaving united. Its clear that where ever he chooses to go the deal will include a part ex as the only clubs who could buy him outright are either real (who he hates) or city and chelsea who are in the EPL. My bet.Italy

MUFC

RIGHT, before I start, ALL YOU GUNNERS OUT THERE..lads, I have no problem at all with every single one of you posting every single day with your opinions on the same handful of possible signings. BUT PLEASE, is there any bldy need for 1, 500 words every time you want to post/??!! I'm fed up of having to scroll halfway down the page every time a Gooner begins his list of going through EVERY SINGLE position on the field with 500words for each, only to state at the end – "we will sign a GK, CB, CDM and STR." Just concentrate on those positions then, instead of telling us daily how Sakho is a left–footer but Wenger likes this and will still maybe sign him!! Come on!

Anyway, quick one on United. Real Madrid – according to my source who works in the finance industry in Madrid – are now HELLBENT on signing Mourinho as the new manager..for obvious reasons following last night's game. The Special One wants in, and has already got in mind 4–5 vital targets he insists on siging..sadly for us, Vidic is one of them. Jose will bid £25m for Vida within a few days of becoming new manager. SAF will likely try to get Benzema on a season long loan and use the Vidic money to sign a goalscoring MF. If this happens, SAF will bid £18million for Neven Subotic (Dortmund), and the remainder will be added to any other sales as United seek a CAM. Striker–wise, if Benzema doesn't come, SAF wants to offer Cologne £6million plus Tosic for Lukas Podolski.

That is all.

Re:
"Squad of
GK – Reina, Cavalieri
RB– Johnson, Darby, Kelly
CB – Carragher, Agger, Skrtel, Kryiakos, Wilson, Ayala
LB – Kolarov, Insua
CM – Gerrard, Mascherano, Aquilani, Lucas, Shelvey, Spearing
RW – Maxi, Kuyt
LW – Silva, Benayoun
AM – Van Der Vaart, Turan
ST – Torres, Jovanovic, Babel, Pacheco"

By and large I'd go along with this. But I notice that you've stuck Babel as a Striker when he's rarely played this role for LFC and is only playing tonight as no–one else is available. I'm assuming this is a Rafa–managed squad as all your ins are players linked with the current regime.

In terms of Ins, I'm not sure how realistic Silva is. Great player in La Liga but I think Rafa's now set his sights on more hardy players (note – buy Argentine :–) ). Many of your CM, AM & LW players are interchangeable as well – eg Turan is as much an AM as a LW. And lets be honest, lack of CL next season will make LFC less attractive to some players, altho' no–one should underestimate the pull of the name (and that's true of other clubs as well)

Cavalieri is almost certainly leaving (unless I've missed something). Two schools of thought – 1 ) Gulasci will step up as reserve keeper, 2) LFC will buy in – Hennesy (Wolves) Ariela (PSG?) have been linked. Me – I'd do both. LFC look weak in the GK dept generally altho' when your no. 1 is Reina it makes it tougher for those in his wake

CB – 6 seems the right number, esp given Ayala and Wilson's youth. Skrtel is a rumoured out but hopefully will stay, Kyrgiakos won't last beyond 2010/11 before getting farmed out. If Skrtel does go, expect a better known name in – Kjaer, Otemendi, even Sakho all potentials. Not Madjid Bougherra –thats bluff.

As much as I'd be happy to see all 3 of babel, Kuyt and Benayoun stay (given the Ins you suggest) the reality is that at least 1 will go to raise funds and sadly that might be Yossi – for reasons which should have been avoidable. I'd also expect to see another striker come in, someone a bit different to what Rafa's done before– hence the K Jones/C Cole rumours in Jan. I've not heard any realistic rumours beyond those two, but would rather Cole than Jones.

Realistically, further to my comments yesterday morning and then rafa's yesterday evening, I think that the squad rejueventation will continue to happen along these lines ahead of the sale being finalised, announced and actually going through. Then what will happen will be that either this rebuilding process continues as now or, if Rafa gets the nod, there may be one or two much higher profile names coming in with funds made available. Its at this point that you might see another big–name striker come in

But you can't rule out Rafa leaving. Takeovers are rarely simple or pleasant and there will be plenty of occasions when everyone's pateience is tested to the full, so who knows.

Elsewhere, manure are trying to throw their weight around – Modric would probably be a good buy (curses!) and names like Subotic and Marveaux suggest some fairly immediate squad rebuilding about to happen.

And are all the Arse fans who post here sponsored by one of teh Football management games? The level of detail is incredible. Even in panic–buying mode Arse Winger isn't going to make more than 4 or 5 purchases of note.

Yohann Pele to Arsenal. I already posted this on the sight but silly gooner fans still keep posting that Adler/Frey/Hart/Lloris is coming to the emirates. stop writing your predictions. this a rumour site. Liverpool have received a written bid of £65 million pounds from a premiership club for Torres. He has been made aware of it – the decision is being made by him whether to engage in discussions or not. The interesting side of this is that during his recouperation in Spain, his agent in Spain (he has an UK one too), opened dialogue with Barcelona to see if they would match any accepted bid for him. He does not want to leave Liverpool and ideally if he does/has to wants to play at Barca before ending back at Athletico.

If Barca do say yes, Zlatan will be released as will Henry and Bojan. City has asked to be kept informed on the first two names on this list.

The third part of this is that Villa is expecting to sign for Barca in the summer but if (and a big if) Torres does go there, that move will be scuppered with both City and Chelsea and Real all hovering.

My brother works in the club shop at anfield and there are strong rumours about the place that sol cambell will be brought in as a player coach next year. he has apparently said that this will only happen if benitez stays.

also, new signing jonjo shelvey could go back to charlton on loan to continue his progress as rafa does not think he is of first team quality yet.

Guys guys guys.
arsenal fans are going crazy on this site, with lists of upto 7–8 players and spending of over 40m. this simply won't happen. apart from Chamakh(free), only 3 players will be brought in. these are: Sebastien Frey (7m), a class GK who is 30, ready to take control and provide stability at the back.
Neven Subotic(14m): 21 yrs old, 6'4, hungry, the ideal signing. whether gallas leaves this yr or next, Subotic is the long term replacement.
Eden Hazard(14m + add–ons): exactly the Wenger–type player, we will get him.
no cover will come in at DCM, Song and Eastmond are deemed good enough.
If any other signing is made, it will be Savic, who will be sent on loan immediately.he will be 2m.
Leaving will be: Senderos(F), Silvestre(F), Merida(F), Gilbert(F), Traore(4), Simpson(4), Eduardo(7). Wilshere, Vela, Mannone, Galindo and Fabianski will go out on loan, along with numerous other youngsters. Campbell and Gallas to stay for 1 yr.
in: Frey(7), Subotic(14), Hazard(14), Chamakh(F), Savic(2). TOTAL: £37m
out: Senderos, Silvestre, Merida, Gilbert(free), Eduardo(7), Traore(4), Simpson(4). TOTAL: £15m

Schalke 04 has just signed Slovakia striker Jendrisek. What does this mean for Sunderland? Well, Jendrisek is the heir apparent to Kevin Kuranyi, who is about to be sold to the Tyneside club. Kuranyi to Sunderland for 6.3 million.

6.3million for a player who's leaving on a free transfer at the end of the season? Wow, you don't know much. Kevin Kuranyi will infact sign for Dinamo Moscow for 0 next week.

In response to the Southampton FC rumours. I have heard that as well as the ones previously listed below we should be getting:

In. Surman from Wolves for about 700k, Danny Hollands from Bournemouth for around 200k and possibly a swap deal involving Rob Hulse with Lambert moving to Derby with us also getting around 1million

Lallana to Wolves for just over 2 million is on the cards sadly, but thankfully we are getting rid of Wotton on a free, Seabourne is back off to Exeter, Otsemobor is out of contract and not likely to be offered a new one

Do some research please, how do you get the captain of the team who has just become an international player and is still under contract for free? Gillett was also offered terms in January but wouldn't accept the salary on offer doubtful he will have changed his mind as any deal from Donny would be less now.

kuranyi is a free transfer this summer mate beacuse liverpool were linked with him, jovanovic and chamakh on free's.

onto some sensible rumours:

Liverpool have already signed jonjo shelvey and raheem starling. Dont be suprised if offers are made for the likes of ben wickham of ipswich and other lower league youngsters this summer.

People are linking us with kolarov etc for big money, if you so called reds actually watch the tv and read the papers WE ARE SKINT! we'll spend the standard charterd money on the likes of Belhadj and Carlton Cole

MANCHESTER UNITED – NEWS

A Luca Moderic deal has been agreed in principal for a straight cash deal, starting at £20,000,000 and rising accordingly with the finer details to be ironed put by club representatives and lawyers.
NOTE: Michael Carrick is NOT included and will NOT be leaving.

Nemanja Vidic is unfortunately leaving to Real Madrid. The fee is approximately £15,000,000 million to £17, 500,000.
From what I can gather Johnny Evans will be the partner of Rio Ferdinand, with another more experienced centre back being brough in to add strength and depth, in additon to Chris Smalling. Unfortunately I have no idea who this is.

Lasltly, the last player brought in will be Karim Benzima. The Fee will be £25,000,000 and is subject to the the Nemaja Vidic deal going through.

The redest devil.

The rumours of Arsenal signing six or seven players and selling the same amount are way off the mark and appear to be little more than Football Manager wishlisting. These are some of the more realistic rumours I've heard from certain sources.

A goalkeeper will definitely be signed. However it is unlikely to be a big name £12m+ signing, and most of the suggested recruits would cost at least that. Hart is likely to be at Man City at the start of next season as Given may not be fully recovered from his shoulder injury by August. Lloris will almost certainly not leave Lyon unless they receive a crazy Buffon–esque offer, which is obviously not something Arsenal would do. Neuer, Adler, Ochoa etc would all cost a lot of money and we all know Arsene doesn't splash the cash freely. Wenger also views Szczesny as an excellent prospect for the future, and may not want to put a keeper in his early twenties in the side, potentially hindering Szczesny's integration into the first team. Instead, expect Wenger to make a more short–termist signing of an older goalkeeper. Frey is unlikely due to cost, but Stekelenburg and Sorensen are more probable options.

As has been widely reported, at least one recruit will be brought in at centre back. This time the names that keep cropping up are more accurate: Sahko, Zapata, Subotic etc. None of them will be cheap (£10–15m), but Wenger knows that even if Gallas signs on for one more season – which is looking increasingly unlikely – a partner for Vermaelen will need to be signed either this summer or next. If Gallas goes, don't be surprised if Wenger gambles by only signing one CB this summer, leaving Vermaelen, the new recruit, Djourou, Campbell and Nordtveit as the personnel.

In midfield, a loan will try and be arranged for M. Diarra of Real Madrid. If this doesn't come off then it is unlikely that Wenger will strengthen in this area. The likes of Witsel, Lass Diarra, Felipe Melo, Rodwell etc will all prove too expensive.

In attack, everyone knows about Chamakh. There has been a lot of talk about Eden Hazard but he is likely to stay at Lille for another season. Lukaku will also almost certainly not leave his club this summer.

Going: Senderos, Silvestre, Almunia, Gallas, Merida, Wilshere (loan), Vela (loan), Eduardo (loan)
Not going: Fabregas, Arshavin, Diaby, Eboue, Sagna, Clichy etc etc
Joining: Chamakh, one GK, one CB. That's probably it.

Having done a sterling job keeping Wolves in the Premiership, Steve Morgan is prepared to back Mick McCarthy with funds to consolidate in the league.
Mick would like to keep Michael Mancienne at the club for another season, as he isn't likely to get in the Chelsea team.
Stephen Hunt will be signed for £3m, £2m less than what was offered in January
Adlene Guedioura will sign permanently after some promising performances – £2m
Nikola Zigic for £4.5m as Maierhoffer hasn't settled and will be sold for £2m
Mick's keeping an eye at developments of Morten Gamst Pedersen's contract talks at Blackburn, and willing to offer bumper contract, as he's available on a free transfer.
Mick also wants to sign Robbie Keane, but will only offer £8m, due to Keane's high wage demands.
Joe Ledley is another target, as Nenad Milijas hasn't settled as well as hoped.
Other targets include – Steve Finnan, Kieron Dyer, Aiden McGeady, Ross McCormack, Peter Whittingham, Adam Lallana, Adam Hammill,

Out of Wolves will be George Elokobi, Greg Halford, Stefan Maierhoffer, Andy Keogh, Sam Vokes (Loan), Andy Surman (Loan), Matt Hill plus more

Most of the rumours regarding Arsenal do have some supporting substance. This is because all of the players Arsenal have been linked with are typical Wenger players. I.e Not to expensive but technically very good. After 5 seasons without a trophy Wenger has finally realised that changes have to be made and they will be. The stadium debt is no longer affecting the spending ability of Arsenal and at last Wenger does actually have the funds available!

Expect changes at the Emirates during the transfer window with at least 5 players leaving and 5 players joining. Also a number of players will leave on loan.

Players out – Fabianski, Silvestre, Gallas, Traore, Eduardo

Players loaned out: Schezney, Bartley, Ayling, Frimpong, Murphy, plus others

Players in: Adler, Cahill, Savic, M.Sissoko, Chamakh, plus the possibility of either Hazard or Affelay.

Best starting team next season:

Adler
Sagna Cahill Vermaelen Clichy
Song
Fabregas Diaby
Nasri Van Persie Arshavin

Subs: Almunia, Djourou, Eboue, Sissoko, Denilson, Walcott, Chamakh

Res: Mannone, Campbell, Savic, Gibbs, Pedro, Eastmond, Coquelin, JET, Galindo, Lansbury, Ramsey (rotates with Sissoko on the bench once he is fully recovered), Wilshere, Barazite, Rosicky, Vela, Wellington Silva, Bendtner

More Forest news guys. First of all let me just say I can't understand why we didn't get JJ Shelvey, we were offered him in the january transfer window for just £1,000,000 but the AP were only prepared to offer £750k and Charlton said no. As far as I am aware Forest were his first option just like I told you Bale & Dawson wanted to join us.

Anyway here is a couple of other names to through in the hat, we WILL be signing Nicky Bailey from Charlton & Andy Dawson from Hull. Are you ready for a shocker? Well here goes, we will also sign Fredrico Macheda for £2,000,000 with our young up and coming talent Karlton Watson heading in the other direction. I will post more as soon as I hear it, Bangertree says hi.

Breaking News: Yohann Pelé will be the new number one at Arsenal next season! this is 100% garanteed. not just an opinion of mine. Toulouse and Arsenal have already reached a verbal agreement.
Wenger yet to decide who his number 2 will be with Almunia and Fbianski in the dark over their future. which makes me wonder how some of you on here have posted that Almunia or Fbianski will leave. how the hell do you know if Wenger doesn't know himself?

Lille willing to sell Hazard after talks between both clubs but Hazard wants to stay another season with Lille unfortunately. talks still on–going however.

I can also confirm that arsenal are in talks with Scott Parker, Jack Rodwell, Shaun Wright Phillips and Balotelli. I am not saying all of them or any of them will arrive, but there have been discussions taking place.

Wenger has also not identified who he will bring in at CB yet and I can assure you all none of Richards, Subotic, Cahill, Mexes, Metzelder, Hangelaand, Sakho and Zapata will be arriving at Emirates. Sorry to dissappoint. The reason no talks have gone on with any centre backs is quite clear, Wenger is unsure on situations of Gallas, Campbell and Silvestre. I'm sure he has a centre back in mind that he wants to bring in but no actions have taken place.

(leeked information you have right there)

Wenger has dusted off the chequebook to cut a deal before the World Cup as he believes that prices are ‘artificial' after the 3 week tournament. Expect changes across the park.

Senderos and Silvestre are going and Kerea Gilbert are all more than likely on their way out. Offers for Almunia, Fabianski, Traore and Eduardo will be considered. Fran Merida will be the subject of a last–ditch attempt by Wenger and Fabregas to stay at the club but if not Atletico are lining him up which would be an absolute shame.

GK:

Lloris: A great season has propelled his price to 20 million+ which is highly unlikely to change with his performances at the WC this summer. It would take a record signing to prise him from Lyon

Adler: Another awesome young keeper (as good as Lloris on his day) but again the potential of CL football and a 15 million+ price tag may put Wenger and Arsenal off. In his favour at 25 years of age, he is reaching his peak, however still highly unlikely.

Neuer: The ‘other' German keeper with huge potential, has Schalke fending off offers from all across Europe but with Bayern and Man Utd lurking and with his price tag of 10 million+ reachable for both clubs if a bidding war erupts you can be sure that Wenger won't get involved.

Frey: Has been quality for Fiorentina for some years but has been unable to impress at International level. Still has 5–6 years in him and good reflexes + Experience would have some assuming he is a favourite but his 10 million price tag and his advancing years means he will still be an outsider.

Romero: Should be Maradona's No.1 at the WC and reached great heights with AZ last season but has failed a little this season. With AZ looking to sell to balance the books as little as 8 million could net a potentially world class GK.

Verdict:

Neuer or Romero with Frey as an outsider

DEF

Subotic: Superb defender with a great long–pass and tackling skills as well as being strong in the air and a strong nose for goal would make him perfect for Arsenal but his 20 million+ price tag and the interest of Milan, Man Utd, Barca, Chelsea and Man City will make it hugely difficult for Wenger.

Tasci: Another German of Turkish descent has come under Wenger's radar as a top defender in the Bundesliga blessed with a silky touch and passing skills and his fall–out with the Stuttgart hierarchy and manager Gross who have prepared for his departure with the signing of Niedermier from Bayern. Rated at 10 million+ Wenger could attempt a difficult signing before the WC.

Sakho: An outstanding Frenchman of African descent with power and vision has been destroying attackers at Ligue Un, Under 19 and Under 21 levels expected to make the step–up to the national–team set–up very soon. In addition, was PSG's youngest ever captain at 17 and shown lots of leadership potential would make him a great signing for Wenger despite his left–footedness could easily play on the right–side of central–defence. Rated at 8–12 million

Hangeland: Has been outstanding for Fulham in the League and Europa League in his 2 years at the club. Would relish CL before the end of his career but still remains loyal to Fulham and his 10 million price tag at 29 represents a significant investment.

Boateng: Quality defender who has a minimum 11.2 million release clause at Hamburg has already announced his intentions to leave more than likely to Man City but still could come to Arsenal if City don't make CL.

Phil Jones: Has broken in to Sam Allardyce's team at just 18 years of age and immediately impressed Wenger who sent Rowley to watch the youngster recently and received glowing praise of the Blackburn man.

Van Der Wiel: 6 ft 2 Dutchman has impressed Europe's elite with his performances at RB for Ajax but it is a little known fact that he started out at CB rated at 8–10 million

Zapata: Was the subject of a 12 million bid from Arsenal 3 years ago, Strong and powerful as well as being deceptively quick could very possibly make the switch from Udinese, but at what price?

Dabo: St Etienne man is on a free at the end of this season with Wenger a long–time fan, will have to beat off competition from Sevilla.

Verdict:

Sakho, Dabo and possibly Zapata with Jones and Van Der Wiel as possbilities

MID

Dorrans: Has reportedly been watched over 10 times by Wenger's spies and impressed in West Brom's rise to the Premier League. Would like to stay with the club who have reportedly put a 12 million price tag on his tag but the lure of CL could prove to strong.

Matudi: Was thought to be a dead cert to join Arsenal last summer but the deal didn't go through and now is being strongly linked with Sevilla. Probably worth around 8 million.

Nzonzi: Has earned comparisons with Patrick Viera for his imposing physique and excellent technique as well as strength in the air. A real find for Blackburn but Arsenal and CL could be the end of that chapter of his career.

Tymoschuck: Signed from Zenit and expected to partner Schweinstieger in midfield but was eclipsed by MVB and even left–winger Pranjic was bought at 15 million but now Bayern would be lucky to get 8 million, however would provide crucial experience in midfield.

Herrera: Great Spainish prospect was tipped to be a possible Fabregas replacement but can play defensively as well. It is unlikely however, given his attacking nature and 12 million price tag.

Verdict:

Nzonzi

ST

Could go into all the players linked but Chamakh is likely to be the only arrival up front.

I heard a rumour that Kenwayne jones will be sold in the summer to liverpool for 10 milllion

Steve bruce will then sign david bently either on loan or a permanent siging (9 million)
this will then allow frazier campbell to play upfroant along side bent for most of the season next year.
mensah and hutton will join permanently

but fulop and ferdinand will be leaving for both aston villa and fulham respectably

29 Apr 2010 12:19:41
Man City are on the verge of signing both David Silva and David Villa. We all know Villa WILL be leaving Valencia this year but contact has been made with Silva who has confirmed he is sick of spanish football as it is 'always a 2 horse race' he sees the premiership as an exciting new challenge. City are in the process of signing both as they have offered a huge amount which will help Valencia's financial crisis so they can start their new stadium again as work has halted. I posted about TEVEZ many moons ago and this one I am also correct. Take it as that!

BALE is not excelling as a left back, he is however excelling as a left winger. a position nani isn't fullfilling nor is giggs as he is 35, so come on. it may happen.

FIRST OF ALL GIGGS HAS NOT BEEN OUR LEFT WINGER FOR YEARS NOW, HE PLAYS IN THE CENTRE. SECOND OF ALL NANI HAS BEEN SUPERB THIS SEASON ALTHOUGH HE IS A NATURAL RIGHT WINGER! ALSO RAFAEL HAD BALE IN HIS POCKET IN THE SPURS GAME LAST WEEK BUT YES BALE IS PLAYING OUT OF HIS SKIN BUT I THINK THIS IS AS GOOD AS HE CAN GET AND IT WAS NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO BEAT OUR 19 YEAR OLD TRAINEE? SO BALE TO UNITED (NO) FOR 25M (NO CHANCE)! MODRIC ON THE OTHER HAND (LIKELY)!

It is no secret that Harry Redknapp is a huge fan of Michael Carrick and that Alex Ferguson is a huge admirer of Luka Modric! now i think a bid will be most likely this summer, whether the Spurs fans like it or not! Although Harry would prefer to keep Luka i am sure the thought of Carrick plus 15 million would be too much for him to turn down, after all he already has cover for Luka, plus he will have Carrick and 15 million to buy another quality player? This deal could very well go through.

I would also like to add that Spurs will be a much better team next year, i fully expect them to push Arsenal for third place! Exciting times for the Tottenham boys!

29 Apr 2010 11:46:44
TRUST ME. a new owner will takeover liverpool after this season.Thursday night benitez admitting he has been given no assurances about his future at the club. it is believed that the chairman dunno whether the new owner want binetez to stay or not.just use logical thinking, if liverpool is no confident of changing a new owner, then why they can't give assurance to stay binetez? liverpool has no extra money to sack binitez!! the takoever expected to anounce after the season bcz dun want to distract the players from their performance.
TRUST ME!

Gareth Bale WILL remain at Spurs. Why would United buy bale when they have without doubt the best and most consistent left back in the world. Modric of all the Spurs may come as a deal was agreed during the last window.

Has anyone got any southampton fc rumours??

29 Apr 2010 11:36:07
ARSENAL FANS – Please stop these ridiculous rumours.

If we are to believe Wenger has £30m to spend, how is he going to get all the players quoted over the last week or two? At best he'd get 2.

I'll admit that Chamakh looks a done deal and Eden Hazard does look like the type of player Wenger would sign.

All the others are fantasy/wish lists from supporters hoping that Wenger might change the way he does business. Something he hasn't done for 12 and half seasons.

We all know that we need a keeper, a central defender (Silvestre is quite possibly Wengers worse signing, up there with Jeffers and Wright) and possibly another striker.

These are the facts, Wenger clearly thinks Almunia is good enough (as he does the squad) a centre half is top of he's list, as we will definitely lose Silvestre and Sanderos with Djourou recovering from a horror injury. There is no way he will let Eduardo go because when he's fit, he is the best finisher in the business. Another fact, is he did put a bid into Valencia, who are in a real financial mess for David Villa, this bid was turned down as it was £10m shy of their valuation, expect them to accept a bid in the summer more in line with Wengers valuation.

He does go for raw talent and players like Hazard & Giovinco (at Juventus) fit the bill. The player he will sign before the world cup is Chellini who will cost in excess of £15m (all the other fans quoting £6–8m are way off the mark as he is considered the BEST defender in Italy). Another set of fans way off the mark are the Newcastle fans who think they'll sign Ezequiel Lavezzi of Naples again for £5–6m – He has been compared to Maradona and Tevez and has single handedly transformed Napoli from a team in the lower half of the league to a team on the verge of qualifying for Europe.

The only teams buying the quality and volume of players predicted on this site will be Man Utd – Probably their usual over rated £30m player. Man City – God help the Premiership should they make Champions League, as they will have every mercenary in world football going there. Chelsea who despite looking like doing their first double, are an ageing team who need an injection of fresh blood. Liverpool are the other, should they get their finances/new owner in order who could start spending but I don't think you'll see marquee signings (Man City apart) that have been predicted.

I know this site is based on rumours but at least have some substance when you're posting. At times the quality of rumour is no better than some of the tabloids.

Liverpool.
Def
LB is the priority and Kolarov seems to be the favourate to sign with talks on going. He could sign for anythibg between 8 and 14 million depending on where Lazio finish. Gary Cahill is in talks which could mean the depature of Skrtel with Lyon, Milan and Arsenal intrested. Degen will be off.
Mid
With regards to the center Gerrard, Aquilani, Masch and Lucas will remain intact. On the wings there will be changes. Riera is gone, Benayoun will also leave for first team football, El Zhar will be sold to raise funds, Overs above 15 million will be considerd for Kuyt. Silva is a target but the competition might prove too much. Talks have begun for Turan and the club have inquired about Jarvis of Wolves as he his young and English.
ST
Torres, Babel and Pacheco will be the constant Strikers at the club while Nemeth and N'gog will go out on loan for six months each. AEK athens want Nemeth and West ham and West brom have inquired about N'gog. most probably Nemeth will go for the first six months and the frenchmen for the remainder. Jovanovic will sign on a free.

Thats it no big spending, but expect heavy Emphasis on youth between the ages of 15 – 18. Alot of highly rated youngsters will come to Anfeild this summer all being part of King Kennys new youth set up. Shevley and Sterling were just the beging expect many more.

Arsenal transfer rumours

firstly arshavin is staying with arsenal for the rest of his career and rumours of him going to barcelona are fake

arsenal will sign a new goalkeeper, 1 new defender, maybe 1 midfielder and 2 strikers so this is what i have heard

Goalkeepers, Joe Hart will be a great signing for arsenal and could be on his way to arsenal this summer and others keepers maybe looked at by arsene wenger such as adler, frey and Buffon or even Doni but i feel Arsenal will get Hart more than the others as Joe Hart is cheaper than them.

Defenders, he is looking for a cb or a rb but i have heard that van der wiel will come in or Brede Hangeland and phillpe mexes as this is a mayor setback to our defence

midfielders, Jack rodwell, melo as he has not fit in at juventus and arsenal wanted him last season, ozil, hazard and James Milner

Strikers, this is a hard 1 as chamakh should be at arsenal next season but the other striker that arsene wenger has looked at is zarate but i have heard others rumours such as robinho being sold from man city to arsenal and that Man city are selling adebayor, wright phillps, ireland and Wayne Bridge and bringing in torres and losing robinho and adebayor the others strikers that arsenal are after are higuain and agbonlahor

out of arsenal

silvestre free, wilshere loan again, eboue to spain and fabeinski

I was the one who told you Modric Reps & Man Utd Reps met in January. This definately happened. The deal didn't go through at the time as Modric was injured and January is a tough time to do business, I know at the time that it was not decided wether the deal would go through in the summer either.
Modric to possibly sign in the summer with either Fabiano, Dzeko or Benzema. An outside chance on Aguero.
Other possibilities include players followed by SAF in recent years, Jovetic, Sanchez, Defour, Rakitic, Di Maria, Veloso, Diego.
Mahmadou Diarra of Real Madrid a possibility as SAF tried to sign him whilst at Lyon along with Essien.
Rooney, Evra, Anderson not leaving in the summer.

29 Apr 2010 10:04:14
To Sagar, who was talking about Arsenal targets:
mate, there is no chance of AW signing so many players. he won't even sign half of what uv said. he will always spend economically. the sort of targets u have picked out are in the right direction in terms of quality, but i don't think it will be those particular targets. Also, Arshavin will not leave, Eduardo may well do.
my predictions are: Frey, Subotic, Hazard, Chamakh, Melo. (plus, for the future: Savic, Lukaku, Wellington Silva).
out: Almunia, Silvestre, Senderos, Traore, Eduardo, Merida, plus on loan: Wilshere, Fabianski, Vela, E–Thomas, Galindo.
This make the squad for next season something like this:
Frey Szczesny Mannone
Sagna Eboue Clichy Gibbs Botelho
Vermaelen Subotic Gallas Djourou Campbell (Nordtveit, Savic)
Song Melo Eastmond
Fabregas Diaby Ramsey Rosicky Denilson Lansbury
Nasri Walcott Arshavin Hazard (Wellington)
vPersie Chamakh Bendtner Sunu (Lukaku)

Mannone, Botelho, Djourou Campbell, Eastmond, Denilson, Lansbury, Welington and Sunu will all be considered backups whilst Ramsey will be a while before he's ready for a return, giving an impressive first team of:
Frey
Eboue Subotic Vermaelen Clichy
Song Fabregas Melo
Arshavin Nasri vPersie
subs(7 out of): Szczesny, Gallas, Gibbs, Sagna, Diaby, Hazard, Walcott, Chamakh, Bendtner, Rosicky.

Mr Pimpernel
I didn't make the original post to which you replied
"Also by Parker I assume you mean Scott Parker – the same Scott Parker who West Ham have said is their only player not for sale?" But I would say that a general translation of whu's comments on parker would be"of course he's for sale but it will cost you but as he's the fans fave I'm not going to alienate myself further by admitting it publicly"

I also think its intersting that the bubble blowers are also being linked with at least 3 portsmouth players. When a nearly relegated team start buying cheaply from a relegated team, you know where their ambitions lie.

Also, with regard to a recent rumour suggesting that reading's gylfi sigurdsson was a target for burnley. He may be but since based on their current squad, reading would be the most likely to be challenging for promotion next season and burnley hardly play his style of football, it would seem a curious move to make. Aside from a couple of flattering home results, Burnley have rarely looked anything other than a moderate championship team this season anyway. Laws made little difference as far as I could see.

If sigurdsson does leave the royals it will be (foolishly) to warm the bench of a mediocre prem team.

I see the Mirror has resurrected the Federici to LFC/spurs. Another benchwarmer at best. Under Mcdermott, Fed has fulfilled his potential much better but he remains frustratingly inconsistent and weak at the near post.

Comrades,

News from Anfield. My source has told me that negotiations over the purchase of the club are shrouded in a veil of secrecy. She says nothing concerning iot is done on club premises – all of it is taking place in hotel private meetings when it needs to be done in person and via phone from home during the evenings. No papers, e–mails, phone calls, meetings, etc etc are done on club premises precisely to thwart leaks. In short, bar the very very top people no–one knows what is happening – not even Rafa although Rafa and the players are kept aware that there are interested parties and that a deal is in closing stages and that said deal will hugely benefit the future of Liverpool FC.

Transfers. Following Brown's defensive frailties being cruely exposed which led to the horriffic own goal at Rochdale, Labour FC are willing to release him on a free. So far there are no interested parties. On a less serious note, there is a lot of credence in the Rafael Van Der Vaart rumour and also the Joe Cole one. Rafa has been doggedly persuing both players for over two years. Aguerro meeting club officials after tionight's game? Don't read to much into that. He has friends and international team mates there (Masch, Maxi, Insua, Torres) – my source says it's an after match bevvy catching up with his mates and nothing more. But hey, you never know eh?

"It is impossible to predict the time and progress of revolution. It is governed by its own more or less mysterious laws."

29 Apr 2010 08:52:40
Hi guys my very 1st post and this are just possibilities no firm affirmation and also yes i did not meet with any football related person nor does any of my relative work 4 any club also i did not see any player nearby nor did i overhear any conversation so guys do co–operate
hail arsenal
now the players going out certainly no gk going out as 4 now as fabianski still has scope 4 development mannone to young and also homegrown almunia would still stay and try to cover up as sub but guys come on at times he does put up a good show like against barca quarter–finals but a solid gk is surely in under consideration are

alder, wiese, boruc, akinfeev, hart, lloris, frey, doni and recent addition buffon, reina,
wiese–has a stagnant graph,
hart–as we all know is needed by his club,
frey–seems good and can be easily acquired as fiorentia want eboue and eboue wants constant 1st team place so this is a possibility,
boruc–no way,
akinfeev–chelsea or manutd bound not the kind arsenal looking for,
doni–wenger admires him a lot but again utd also want him so war,
lloris–young good French so is a strong possibility but his club is reluctant as they want 2 cash on him and wenger won't pay astronomical price for him that leaves us with adler who is really good and suits arsenal style.
now defense
gallas going nowhere as wenger sacrificed toure bcoz of him as both defenders did not go along well so gallas might value this only reason he is not signing new contract now is his injury ,
campbell–surely gonna stay at arsenal for 1 more season he was good this season and considering arsenal defense worries will stay back to help is old man,
silvestre–well french man going the other way bordeaux to even out chamakh as he'll to will be going free,
senderos–poor chap going to everton or newcastle,
sagna–currently going nowhere but chances would go to spain or italy next season,
clichy–yet again going to snub a move to real or barca as he still has lot to give to arsenal,
eboue–going to italy or spain as he has admirers in the place also there are chances of wenger not leaving him due his versatility of playing anywhere in the field

incomings mexes, sakho, subotic, richards, hangleland, upson, metzelder, puyol, Zapata

mexes–is a possibility as wenger likes his style of play and would like to add him
, sakho subotic–subotic is also a possibility but sakho still needs to prove himself,
puyol–strong possibilty as he was also linked to arsenal in jan,
richards–for him its gonna be a bidding war but his idol club is arsenal so he is sure to come,
hangleland–even i don't know he is good then to was left out in jan so still unsure
, metzelder–well chances are he is going back to germany schalke04,
zapata–he has been linked to arsenal for a long time now so chances are that he might land at emirates
drenthe–dutch international might land up as he has no place in Madrid with likes of marcelo and alvaro there

midfield
arshavin–is going to barca he has fallen out with wenger for his big mouth and injury problems plus age and by sending him walcott will get enough playing time plus in exchange so player might come this way , fabregas, song, diaby, nasri, Walcott, ramsey–all are staying
rocisky–he is surely staying his comeback was good and wenger won't let him go as he has been a lot patient for him during his injury had he wanted him to go he would have sold him of last year itself

incomings–silva, hamsik, derossi, joe–cole, milner, mata, matuidi, van–der–vaat, inler, cambiasso, hazard, diarra, rodallega

silva–good chances causes he idolizes arsenal and has a place to play in our team
hamsik–this boy is surely coming but slight chances of city fighting for him
derossi–even he might join so as cover in mid and provide some strength in defense this would also lead fabregas to be more attacking
joe–cole–I wonder if he'll join but his addition is a super boost
milner–for this guy there is going to be clash of clubs arsenal, manu, Liverpool, city so its uncertain
mata–it's a sure no as real have set its sight on the former Madrid player
matuidi–if we are unable to get big names than this guy is sure at arsenal
van–der–vaat–he is awesome economical and attacking who can play in arshavin's place perfect for arsenal but expect war between Liverpool and arsenal
inler–I hope no guy is good but can't predict if he'll survive premier league challenge might fail as lorik cana
cambiasso–liverpool were able to lure him last season so we surely can and this season he will think of some advancement in his career arsenal is the place for this awesome holding midfielder
hazard– at arsenal for sure
diarra–strong possibility as has almost no 1st team playing time at Madrid so might be given back to his former club arsenl at cut price
rodallega–even wigan admitted he is of to arsenal
attack/strikers
no one going anywhere Eduardo, bendtner, RVP, vela for gonna stay additons are sure
chamakh–need I say more in
zarate–wenger is strong admirer of the chap so don't be surprised if you see him at arsenal next season
bojan–included in swap deal for arshavin
balotelli–wenger again see's high potential in the Italian and his fall off at inter is hinting something positive
villa–after all even Valencia have agreed no one will be paying astronomical price for him so he would be at less price and if in arsenal's range and if arsenal bid he is at coming then
dzeko–I find it a bit hard as last season milan's 19m bid was rejected and wenger won't pay that much for him
gigantic–good chances but still doubt
vucinic–again one of arsenal tagert for long having missed the train for pandev might speed up bid for young striker

so guys this is ARSENAL transfer prediction for sagar but I personally want
lloris
Richards, Zapata, drenthe
Silva, cambiasso, hamsik, hazard
Zarate, dzeko

Rest for you pls do comment on my rumor do know its sagar who told you this .

Arsenal transfers

First off, to all people posting rumours, don't justify transfer prices with how much each team has to spend or how much you think they are worth. However much each team has for spending takes into account both transfer fee AND wages, and for the most part impact players like Silva, Villa, and Benzema would demand higher wages than their predecessors. Therefore a £30m signing actually turns out to cost alot more and this should be taken into consideration with each teams wage structure. Arsenal fans, our wages match our ticket sales which come out to about £110m, so releasing gallas who demands some of our highest wages for a player like Cahill is a good piece of business.

Anyways, transfers for the summer:
Chamakh, Sorensen, and Zapata will come in.
Mexes will never leave Roma, Hazard is committed to Lille for another year, and Frey is the typical rumour every year because of his nationality. The new 25 player team rule will limit the opportunities of many older squad players like rosicky, Eduardo, and silvestre so they will likely leave. This will likely be the squad for next year:

Sorensen
Fabianski
Mannone

Sagna
Eboue
Campbell
Zapata
Vermaelen
Djourou
Nordveit
Clichy
Gibbs

Fabregas
Song
Diaby
Denilson
Nasri
Ramsey
Wilshere

Arshavin
Van Persie
Chamakh
Bendtner
Walcott
Vela

Big bristol rovers news, rovers will have too go into administration and will have too sell most of the main stream players, even the ground may have too be sold!

Can confirm this is not true.

The club is in good health, and despite the set backs in redeveloping the ground, the club is not in danger of going under and the club is confident of getting into the play–offs next season.

The club won't be over–spending and will look to loans from Premiership and Championship clubs as well as cheap buys from League Two and Non–League. The core of the squad will stay, but it is hoped that we can sign the following players in the summer:

Justin Richards (Cheltenham)
Charlie Griffin (Stevenage)
Peter Enckelman (Cardiff – loan)
Cillian Sheridan (Celtic)
Corry Evans (Manchester United – loan)
Robbie Threlfall (Liverpool – FREE)
Michail Antonio (Reading)
Nicky Wroe (Torquay)
Elliott Benyon (Torquay)
Saul Deeney (Derby)

Celtic FC:

There are rumours circling that Rickie Lambert may be set to finalize a £3.5 million move to the club. He has been banging in the goals in League 1 and when, not if, Neil Lennon is announced the new manager he believes Lambert may solve some of the goalscoring problems at the club.
Alternatively, Lennon could make a double swoop for Grant Holt and Wes Hoolahan of Norwich City. The deal would be somewhere in the region of £5 million + Darren O'Dea on loan.
On the chopping block are Georgios Samaras, Zheng Zhi, Lee Naylor, Koki Mizuno, Niall McGinn and Simon Ferry. Lennon expects to receive £5–6 million for these services.
Edson Braafheid and Robbie Keane will not sign permanent deals. Landry N'Guemo will be signed for £2 million, and Diomansy Kamara will sign on a season–long loan, with a view to a £4.5 million deal in the summer.
Nadir Belhadj will make the move north from cash–strapped Portsmouth, for £5 million. Team mates John Utaka and Tal Ben–Haim are also expected to move for a combined fee of £7 million between the two.
Not facts but rumours which have been surrounding the Parkhead club.
