Sean dyche to be confirmed burnley boss on Tuesday after he accepted deal tonight

Does anyone else think sean dyche looks a bit like neil lennon with a beard?!

A fatter version of lennon with a ginger beard , i think he will do a good job for us tho he looks a mean character

PDC will walkout on Swindon Town IF they lose to Villa on Tuesday...As the board wont put money in 2 lift the embargo

This post is so laughable I will donate £50 to the charity of the posters choosing if it is true. However, if false, I want them to donate £100. Alternatively, admit you made this up while watching CBeebies. This a rumours forum, not a place to post pointless stirrings. Jog on PDC haters.

The guy that has post this wants a reaction from us town supporters. I just wish something constructive about our club instead the utter garbage that keeps being posted,ie: Ritchie going in jan,PDC getting sacked or walking out & financial problems at the club. If any Swindon fans have any decent rumours it would be a pleasant change for once.

Ha ha this did make me laugh! Ha ha

George Burley set to return as Boss at Ipswich this week after talks with other candidates break down.

Just sort the problem n pay the best n get the right man for a change

This is not going to happen

Billy Davies to be approached. proven success at this level saving Forest from similar position then taking them to two play offs. His experience and knowledge of championship is proven and more realistic salary than others being discussed

Dont want burley back,we need 2 move forward now not backwards

Billy davies is the best choice get it sorted n lets move on

Eddie Howe plans to dip into the loan market this week to bring Brett Pitman and Marvin Bartley back to the club. source: several national newspapers

Would not surprise me as this rumour has been doing it's rounds, both pitman and bartley would give something different to the team. expect eddie howe to be moving on or loaning a fair few players by january as squad is very large.

That would be amaaaazing!

The cherries have a deal in place with burnley that they are unable to sign players from the club until summer 2013

Bartley doesnt get on with mitchell so unlikely

Ipswich Manager Latest;

Money seems to be the problem for iPSWICH FILLING this position.McCARTHY is first choice but it seems his salary he wants is far more than Ipswich will,this is the same problem with CURBISHLY.
Ipswich have now turned their attention to former Manager George Burley with Matt Holland as his assistant,with Gary Megson and Paul Tisdale also being interviewed.

Don't even mention megson in the same breath as Ipswich that will never happen.

Thats rubbish. ceo already satd that they will pay the going rate for a manager. besides, why would wages be a problem for the owner?

Town fan dont want burley n holland

Ipswich will pay the going rate for a Championship Manager not Premiership Manager's salaries as with players.An Ex- Premiership Manager is out of their reach.

I know they are tight but this decision of new manager critical,money can't come into it

Bo, the ceo stated clearly that unlike the fact they wont push the boat out for players wages, they will pay what it takes to get the manager they want.

There is only one choice for the board to make, Get Holloway in, pay the £500'000 compo to Blackpool, any one else is a no no. we cant afford to experiment with ex managers and players, we need a strong man at the helm.

^ Good man, completely 100% agree ;)

Mick McCarthy is being lined up to replace Derek McInnes as manager of Bristol City.

Cant see that- 1) Team might be struggling, but McInnes not yet under pressure-2) Would be too quick a change.McInnes needs to be given more time-3). Lansdown has more patience than that 4) Cant see MM coming to us!

Would be good u say give him more time ur havin a laugh whats he done just kept us up last season and signed one good player baldock the rest would have chucked on the scrap heap if we didnt intervein and i think hes out of his depth here hes only previously kept a side inthe scottish prem which even barnet could survive in but same old city cheap option again thats why we will always be a yo yo team if we stick with him we r going to be relegated

How true the above message is city dont board and manager dont think a cup run draws in money and buying a good priced defender and midfielder is wot we need

So your saying that Davies has been a bad signing?

Where's the confidence?! Del kept us up with a worse team and in a worse situation than this! he IS the right man in my opinion! are we forgetting someone?! steve davies = TOP QUALITY PLAYER! 6 goals in 6 games doesnt say hes a bad player! for me better than baldock! and I wouldnt want Mccarthy, like steve bruce - only really proven at this level! i want a good young manager like Del! thats if we do change, i dont think theres any need to. we have the players and the ability t be at the other end of this league! there has been no team that weve played this year where ive thought 'yeah theyre miles better than us'! it WILL CHANGE! always believe

Do you not thing cunningham and Davis and Anderson are good players then.Get real Pal !

Baldock, Davies, Cunningham,Mcmanus (loanee), Heaton, Anderson. All good players at this level. Take a look at the likes of Skuse and Fontaine if there is blame to be had by anyone.

Dont thnk there is much truth in this but it is true that McCarthy was a guest of the Bristol City board at the Nottingham Forest game this season and a game at Ashton Gate as well. Make what you want of that

Derek McInnes has the next for games to save his job, Mick McCarthy is lined up and waiting

McCARTHY HAS BEEN NAMED IPSWICH BOSS TONIGHT!

McCarthy not named Ipswich new manager he has been talking to SL. McInnes Has Four games to save his job.

Mcinnes will turn it round but needs time. We still need movement on players and you need a couple of transfer windows or a very large cheque book to do that. That said though every manager is judged on his results and the teams performaces and to be honest neither have been that impressive. Come on Derek sort them out and stop making excuses for your players letting you down. We got to Wembley play off final with a worst team than this, the only thing your players are gonna get you to is the dole queue.

Harry Redknapp anyone?

George burley to be manager of Ipswich again with matt holland as his assistant .

Matt holland was watching yesterday

Burley had his time,has done nothing since leaving first time,would be very disappointed if it was him

If this was true then it would be brilliant

Could be true

Just what Ipswich need, perfect.

Absolute rubbish, please there's only one choice Holloway, not Burley, or Curbs,

If these rumours are true welcome to div 1 next season

Matt holland set to be coach at Ipswich with George burley or Mick mc carthy as boss.

Holland loves his jobs in the media,can't believe this was true.lazy journalism,he was only watching game with his son yesterday.

According to this mornings papers Sean Dyche is heading to Burnley. If it is true it will bbe a great apointment as he did a great job at Watford with limited resources and deserves the chance to prove what he can do.

He probably would be a great appointment for burnley - we won't have to pay compensation for him and he'll probably work for less money than some of the other candidates!

I think sean dyche would be an excellent appointment at burnley, he will be capable to carry on the good work of eddie howe, building a team to compete without tonnes of money to invest.

Not fit to manage this club. Terrible appointment. Time to listen to the fans mr chairmen! Gutted... Bye bye season ticket. {Ed003's Note - So not only B'burn fans think they have a right to pick the new boss, Burnley fans do now,let the folk in charge make the decisions instead of causing unrest,next it will be Accy fans,you could all have a meeting at Pendle Hill and cast your spells,lots of witches costumes about this time of year ;-) }

Well said Ed,im a Burnley fan and the guy should be given a chance,Owen Coyle was a risky appointment and we ended up in the prem.

Good luck dychey

Give him 6 games and he will turn your season around. Wish he was still part of the set up at Watford

Dyche will be the best manager Burnley have ever had, mark my words...a Watford fan of over 30 years.

sean dyche set for the maager vacancy job at burnley. good source. should be
appointed in the next 12-24 hourse {Ed003's Note - was he at the turf yesterday?}

No but he was in cardiff yesterday watching the game and by that performance he probably thought f**k that ! Best not to get involved with that shower of sh**e !

No he was at cardiff watching burnley

He is mates wiv cardiff boss

Worries me, as we didn't turn up at Cardiff. If the players had been told pre match and that wad the reaction...it does not bode well {Ed003's Note - My apoligies I've been working and just caught on the radio he was there,Watord fans seem to have nice things to say about him}

SD is a top Manager, did wonders at WFC with no money, brought the players and Staff together as a unit. When he talks he has a gravel voice and you woulnd't think at first he was knowledgeable but give him time and wait and see, infact have a punt on promotion next year!

How can you possibly call him a top manager. He has had one season with a mid table championship finish....

Good manager but terrible at signing new players. He signed two strikers Garner and Iwelumo who banged in about a total of 3 - 4 betweens them last season. He signed a defender Mirfin who never played. Two midfielders Forsyth and Price B that were never first team and Dickinson a left back with no pace. All these players are now playing for Carlise, Pompy, Bradford, Scunthorpe ect. Lower league teams. Good luck !!!!!

Manchester United are thought to be tracking West Bromwich Albion Midfielder Claudio Yacob and will potentially make a move for the Argentine in January

Like Yacob would go to Man Utd to sit in their reserves ? no chance ,Baggies dont need to sell anyway plus if Yacob does move on in the future he is more suited to move to Spain or Italy.

Non-starter, no chance Albion would sell unless for a VERY high fee.

To be honest it's just speculation from the Mirror (which is never correct) as he's adapted very well and Utd were interested in him a few years ago.

I thought it more like Man Utd utd were leaking this to try to upset the player into thinking they would make an offer for him or make him ask for a transfer
Don't think it will work with yacob as he just learning the language and can't read the gutter press

Have watched the under 21s play v reading,so if yacob goes theres no one else deserves his chance more than sam mantom, dont let another talented kid go for nothing especially our local dudley kid

Dougie Freedman trying to bring the experienced Lennie Lawrence to Bolton and Curtis Fleming. Lennie has been up north before with Boro, Bradford and Grimsby so wouldnt shirk a move to Wanderers. Fleming is ex-Boro so he too wouldnt reject a move north.

Freedman said on BBC Radio Manchester that Palace have turned down the initial approach. He also states he'd be happy to include Jimmy Phillips and Sammy Lee in his new set up at Bolton.
