Huddersfield manager Simon Grayson is wanting to sign a winger and two forwards in January to boost his options for a promotion push.
The winger wanted by Town is Middlesbrough player Mustapha Carayol. The former Torquay player hasn't played much for the Riverside outfit and could cost the Terriers around £300,000.
The two strikers wanted by Grayson is Sam Vokes and Apostolos Vellios. Vellios is currently on the fringes at Everton whilst Vokes is at rivals Burnley. Welshman Vokes could sign for an undisclosed fee whilst Vellios will join on loan.

Didnt that Carayol cost Middlesborough 700k

Muzzy is out till feb so tht rumours dead in the water plus mowbray rates him and no need to sell

Not happening muzzy destroyed blackburn and would have been an ever present without his knee injury

Plus it will be a relegation battle and not a promotion push

He hasn't played much because he's been injured. Also, he cost us more than £300,000 and is/will be worth well more once he's back from injury...he destroyed Blackburn when he was fit, just before his injury.

Vokesy has only just joined this summer he's not going anywhere

Grayson whats the score 4 2 to leeds go and get club down to div one that wher ur going grayson down like leeds sinked u to day 4/ 2

I think has great potential and is playing in the wrong team and style of football at yeovil

Charlton manager Chris Powell is keen on signing a defender, two midfielders and a forward in January.
Young Exeter defender Jordan Moore-Taylor has been invited to train with Athletic during December with a view to a permanent deal in the New Year. Moore-Taylor has only played once for City in a League Cup tie.
The two midfielders wanted by Powell are Helgi Danielsson and David Davis. Davis is only 21 and could join on loan from Wolves whilst Danielsson ply's his trade in Sweden with AIK.
Powell is always keen on adding a forward to his ranks and that seems to be Derby striker Nathan Tyson. An offer of around £300,000 will be made.

Derby are only selling 3 already named playerd in january.Already been stated and promised.

Jordan Moore-Taylor signed a long term contract with exeter in October..

We will not sign any of the players mentioned. Not good enough to improve the team and we'll have bigger fish to fry with new investors......

Danielsson not a bad shout after his impressive stint in Europa League this season.

I don't think davis will go on out on loan unless wolves get bring in a player of a similar position as davis plays, and is a replacement for henry

Danielsson also wanted by FC Copenhagen, Reading and Ipswich Town

28 Nov 2012 20:45:56
Cardiff City have offered £100,000 for young Motherwell midfielder Adam Asghar.

28 Nov 2012 20:44:15
Burnley are wanting to sign 20 year old Yeovil winger Keanu Marsh-Brown.

They can have him. In fact I will personally drive him to Burnley

I will pay for your petrol then mate cus he is terrible!

He is so greedy he's an impact sub in league 1 so at burnley he'll do bugger all

Don't forget that Burnley is a long way! So I'll provide you with refreshments for the journey to take him up there!

Bristol City manager Derek McInnes has gave the board four names he would like to sign. Two full backs, a centre half and a midfielder are all top of his list.
One of the defenders McInnes is keen on is young South African defender Kgosi Ntlhe from relegation rivals Peterborough.
One of the full backs interesting McInnes is a deal for Colchester player Michael Rose. Rose has been admired by McInnes for some while and an undisclosed fee could be negotiated before next week.
The 21 year old Blackpool defender Ashley Eastham could be signed for a nominal fee. The former Bury loanee has been told he can leave Bloomfield Road and could see a deal with City materialize before the FA Cup weekend in January.
The midfielder wanted by McInnes is young Crystal Palace player Jonathan Williams. The 19 year old Wales under 21 player has been told he can leave on loan.

I seriously doubt Williams would leave on loan the only reason he is not in the team every week is because he has had a series of niggling injuries. Zaha aside he is probably the highest rated youngster at Palace.

I would be surprised if he went out on loan, we need him at Palace for our push for promotion

No money will be spent as the sleeping giant is heading into a coma in League One.

Its too late to start giving the board names to salvage a season. He just aint cut it and results prove that. Offload before Dec and bring in Experienced stalwart to pull current squad together.

Kgosi is going nowhere he is the future of our club quality youth layers for posh coming into starting 11

28 Nov 2012 20:19:53
Birmingham City boss Lee Clark is wanting to sign both Jeroen Tesselaar and Dean Bowditch in January. Dutchman Tesselaar has impressed at Kilmarnock in Scotland whilst Bowditch has always been a target for Clark at MK Dons.

Bowditch is quality, but he's not exactly what birmingham need.

28 Nov 2012 20:29:25
Bolton are keen on signing a midfielder and a full back in January as they push for a play off spot.
One deal on the verge of happening is young full back Adam Henley from rivals Blackburn. Henley could sign on loan until the end of the season with a view to a permanent deal if they manage promotion.
The midfielder wanted by manager Dougie Freedman is Barnsley playmaker Jacob Mellis. The former Chelsea youngster has impressed Freedman this year and an offer of £500,000 is set to get the ball rolling.

£500,000 for Mellis,if we get that for i will take him,are you having a laugh,he is worth 50k

28 Nov 2012 20:24:20
Blackpool manager Michael Appleton is wanting to raid former club Portsmouth by bringing in forward Izale McLeod for an undisclosed fee.

Isnt Macleod on a non-contract basis? so there shouldnt be a fee

And he hasn,t really performed well in this league only when thomas was here and he aint a blackpool to stay dont think

Not good enough

Izale McLeod isn't on non-contract, he is under contract

Mcleod is on a monthly contract and will be out the door (on a free) if a bigger club like Blackpool come knocking in January.

28 Nov 2012 20:22:29
Blackburn are chasing a January deal for Norwegian striker Alexander Soderlund. The 25 year old currently plays for Haugesund in his homeland and is reportedly a family friend of Henning Berg.

28 Nov 2012 18:27:11
Bury Midfielder David Worrall will be going in January to either Crawley or Preston North End for around £350,000 - Crawley are front runners due to the Ritchie Barker connection

Prestont dont have £350 and have more midfield players than we know what to do with.....so 100% doubt it will happen

Preston have got money but they just wont waste it like former managers did ,preston will buy in jan transfer market in need of a centre half .a right winger,a right back

Crawley have already agreed a deal with Bury for Worrall its common knowledge but not for £350k, its more like £150 k

North end not wasting money what a joker , why then are we paying amoo ,
mousinho , beardsley , cummins , beavon , huntington they are a waste of money

Bury already rejected 2 offers from Crawley earlier on this season. Worrall wants to sign a new contract with bury so simmer down.

Moose is still not fit beavon will come good and huntington is a good player .as for worral preston will sign better than him in jan

Huntington a good player you are joking , he is far too slow &cannot tackle , beavon will not come good because he is not good enough. IN JANUARY westley will use he extensive scouting system of arsenal reserve matches & stevenage to buy some more donkeys , mid table at best this season

Ian Harte (Reading)
Mark Beevers (Sheffield Wednesday)
Chris Wood (West Brom)
all to sign for Millwall on permanents in January to help towards there promotion push which is looking promising with them currently in the playoffs

Beevers and Woods I would definately have to sign on permanent deals! Harte? Not sure about? But would add good experience to the current squad or even coaching?!

Millwall wont be in the mix in march, not good enough to last the distance

We will see in March won't we matey!

Millwall in the playoffs? Mate you have only just slipped into the play offs and your already thinking promotion... We all have been in the top 6 at some point and 2 games u can drop half way down... Millwall don't have the quality to last the season despite the good run

Where does it say were gonna make the play offs the thread says were looking 4 a promotion push little reading made it y not us witih a bit of investment wood beavers and a gk we should be up there

Ian Harte today has said he wants to stay and fight for his place at Reading. 'Little Reading made it y not us' erm mate we're a bigger club than Millwall are. Over the last fifteen years we've virtually finished above you every season and have spent three years in the premier league which you've never been in. So sorry pal even if we get relegated we're miles out of your league. Oh and thanks for gifting 'little reading' four points after being ahead against us

Where are Millwall going to find 1 million to sign Wood?

They don't need to find a milliion pound Wood will out of contract in the new year,so it is up to the player where he wants to play 'REGULAR' football mate!

Lot of tosh on here from I presume a Reading supporter. Millwall have had a cash injection from JB of 8.5 Mill and a promise of more in the window. You lot just hate it don't you...... Millwalls gonna getcha ! Ps hands up those that too 45,000 to wembly two years running...Oh yeah little Millwall...small club maybe but with the hearts of LIONS, remember since 1885 " we fear no foe ! "

we actually don't need your old has beens, just wait untill you come down and that Russian pockets all the money see yer Pompey oops! I mean Reading

Don't let the green eyed Monster get the better off you little Millwall fan. Go back to racially abusing Marvin Sordell or mocking the deaths of those Leeds fans in Turkey. Isn't that what you do best?

Hmmm surprised at your comments Mr Reading do you know the whole story the official FA enquiry version. Well this is it.

A thirteen year old ( yes 13) told Mr Sordell he looked like Nemo ( you know the cartoon fish) Mr Sordell alledgidly told him to loose some weight you fat little c--t to which the boy told him to f--k off. Sordell ( the man) then tweeted ( yes tweeted) that he had been racially abused. The boy has been banned from the club and put through a racism in the community program held by Millwall FC no less. The boy has sent a letter of apology to Mr Sordell. Thats the facts. If Sordell was man enough ( nothing to do with colour) this would never have happened.

Millwalls racist supporters have voted as player of the season for the last 3 years

Jimmy Abdou (black) 2009-2010
Tam Makandawire (black) 2010-2011
Jimmy Abdou (black) 2011-2012

This year it looks very much like being Danny Shittu ( black)

Doesn't really fit your bigoted stereotype does it.

Shame the Russian will pocket all your money and you will eventually go back to the lower regions along with Oxford and other insignificant football clubs.

Blinding result against Villa followed 3 of your coach loads on the way to Wolves, oh we won by the way how did you get on............ haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Woods? 1 million? He's worth more than ALL the Millwall players put together now he's scored the majority of your goals. Come back when you have 5 million. Oh, and he's contracted to August 2013.

Let me see, it's December 2012. So August 2013 would be next summer and he'd be available for how much then....

Contract runs till end of season which means in jan we can offer him a ore contract agreement for nothing. But will have to pay still as he is only 20. WBA best bet. Is to take the million as come end of season any club will get him for penny's

Wood won't leave because lukaku will likely be recalled, if west brom show any interest in getting him playing for Albion then he will come back without thinking twice.

28 Nov 2012 17:18:02
West Brom to sign Scott Sinclair in January. Steve Clarke knows Sinclair well from his time at Chelsea and has asked Jeremy Peace and Dan Ashworth to make him an Albion player.

Utter Tripe, You can't play for more than 2 clubs from the same league in a season and considering he's played for Swansea and Man City this won't happen.

28 Nov 2012 16:58:24
Shay Given is moving to Arsenal in january.

Dontthink he would want to sit on the bench still

28 Nov 2012 16:14:33
Celtic are interested in taking Coventry City central defender Richard Wood on trial.

Im sorry but he would walk into the celtic side. celtic are a league 2 team at best. the spl is a joke league and a lucky win over barcelona doesnt mean a thing giant killings happen all the time

League 2 dont make me laugh celtic would wipe the floor with league2

Flip I must have missed the fact that Barcelona and Spartak are league 2 NOT!...jog on..

And I must have forgot Inverness and Arbroath are champions league take a hike !

We beat barcelona and spartak, we are still in all four competition also guaranteed at least europa league after christmas and the domestic results will come, just focus on your own team and stop getting jealous of celtic doing well in europe!

28 Nov 2012 16:09:21
Glenn Hoddle is wanted by Sheffield Wednesday but an known Championship side have already offered him a directors role.

Glen Hoddle is on his way to Brsitol city,

We don't want hoddle he's a bad as jones. Jones out jones out

28 Nov 2012 15:51:11
Norwich boss Chris Hughton is weighing up a January move for Scotland striker Leigh Griffiths.
Griffiths, who is on loan at Hibernian from Wolves, has been in red-hot form this season, notching 13 goals in 14 SPL matches.
His good form resulted in senior international recognition earlier this month as he made his Scotland debut in their 2-1 win in Luxembourg.
The 22-year-old began his career at Livingston, where he made his first-team bow at just 16, before moving to Dundee.
His form there earned him a transfer to Wolves in 2011, but he has managed only ten minutes of action at the Molineux club.
He has, however, thrived at Hibernian and Norwich could now look to hand him a chance to shine in the Premier League in January.

I am a hibs supporter, and love griffiths, but he is not premier league class,

28 Nov 2012 15:50:54
Scott Sinclair will join Aston Villa in January for £5m.

28 Nov 2012 15:41:27
Burnley's Danny Ings is a target for Crystal Palace when the tranfer window re-opens in January.

Bournemouth's eddie howe would know if danny ings is worth signing, if in january he feels he would make a inpact he could make an offer, but my suspictions are ings is not as good as pitman and mcQuoid. Doubtful with his injuries would c.palace be interested?

Absolute tosh !

Palace tried to sign him before he went to Burnely, but he has had an awful lot of injuries, so won't be match fit and does seem injury prone. Not likely

28 Nov 2012 15:39:27
Bristol Rovers are set to sign another former Scottish international during the January transfer window. The veteran midfielder has been plagued by injuries for the last two seasons but has now declared himself fit and Mark McGhee is hoping he can help pull Rovers clear from the foot of the league 2 table.

Scottish International ? It just illustrates that McGhee doesnt know the English Leagues that well or players and simply wants to go North of the border on a wing and a prayer. His time is done

28 Nov 2012 14:55:12
Derby to make a move for Sheffield Wednesday striker Gary Madine in January

Really hope not...

Is he good ? never heard if him.

28 Nov 2012 14:53:39
Leeds are preparing to make an approach for out of favour Aston Villa striker Darren Bent

Ridiculous,he could end up playing in league 1.

Paul lambert is sending him down for a medical on one of santas reindeer and ken bates is paying for him as a fairwell gift out of his own pocket honestly

I don't think so we (leeds united) may havemoney but we will not be wasting it on players like Bent. We need a striker who can score not a has been

Wasting on bent a proven goalscorer at the highest level! agree this is a nonsense rumour but poster 3 I assume has never seen a match of football before

Highly unlikely he will be playing league one football more like premiership next season if he was to join

102 EPL goals? everyone thinks they can sign up DB9 from Villa. But he isn't leaving us - Dream on! 3 games fit without playing means nothing! Its the same with Ireland sitting on the bench , means nothing!

Agree with poster 4 spot on bent is one of the most lethal in the box strikers in premier for last few years he would murder/ terrify the championship defences and fire us to premier without a doubt! But would cost upwards of £70 grand + a week if it were true and someone would stump up the cash for him I for one would think Xmas/ birthdays and all came at once!! Mot

Have i got this right leeds fans saying we dont want/need darren bent? A great striker dont think this will happen but when (not if but when) we go up this year would love to see him as a summer transfer, also like to see trotter of millwall. london based and see a few wall games the guy could be a good buy. also love to see delph come back. any one reckon alan smith could return? not heard that for a while, nearly as stupid as people saying bent is no good

Bringing delph back would be like getting back with an ex just wouldnt work out for either party

Would take Eric Lijaj.

28 Nov 2012 14:38:43
Oldham have recalled Alex Cisak from his Pompey loan spell. The Latics' number one, Dean Bouzanis, was last night sent off against Doncaster. The dismissal warrants a three-match ban. That has prompted Paul Dickov to invoke a 24-hour recall clause in Cisak's Blues loan deal.

This is true but not rocket science when we have a 24hr recall on Cisak and the Cup on saturday then Colchester and Swindon to play. Glad really as he can get the number one jersey back now.

28 Nov 2012 11:56:59
With Guus Hiddink announcing his retirement at the end of Anzhi's current season, the Russian club are monitoring Roberto Di Matteo's, Sven Goran Eriksson's, Marcelo Bielsa's situations. The previously touted option of bringing Pep Guardiola to Russia has been rubbished. All rumours coming from Russia.

28 Nov 2012 11:52:14
WBA have declined several inquiries regarding Graham Dorrans' and Shane Long's availability. Fulham, Southampton, Sunderland and QPR are all monitering the situation.

28 Nov 2012 10:40:46
Kenny Jackett isnt sure whether WBA
will sell Chris Wood in January. Ian
Harte to Millwall in Jan, Reading
apparently have told KJ that they will
let him go. Liam Trotter has been
Linked with arsenal in the paper.

Ian Harte won't leave unless Reading sign a new left back in january, also he can definitely do better than milwall

That is your opinion mate,it is up to the player.Don't get too big headed as we could be swapping leagues by May next year?!

I dont really think he can do better than a team in the play-offs if he's not getting played at a team that is going down

Lol came across this post and seen a comment by a deluded millwall fan... Swapping seasons? Mate your on a decent run but not even half way through the season lol don't get ahead of yourself and as for Chris wood he should be joining you can't see it being a problem leaving wba aslong as your broke chairman can cough up the funds!

Its a fact and its not deluded atall! We have a better chance of going up than Reading have of staying up! Have fun?

^^ keep dreaming mate, you only just slipped into the play offs and your already thinking you will defo be there at the end of the season... We all have a good chance of being there! Keep your feet on the ground son or your up for dissappointment

Millwall have a very good chance of being in or near the play offs next May,everyclub in the championship loves to dream of being in the PREM!Its what keeps your season going/alive!

Millwall's skint chairman is putting another £8 million into the club.

8 million.. Keep wishing mate! Cant even believe u think that lol nevermind ay you will find out he won't just as he never has invested that much

The chairman has already put the 8 million in the club!

As a shareholder my comment about our skint chairman come from documents lodged with the stock exchange and are therefore proper facts.

All the teams in the top half of the table think their in with a chance of the playoffs. Millwall will slide back down with the Christmas decorations. Get real you're a long way from a prem team, just because you're on a good run does not mean you're going up.

Ian Harte will never join Millwall He supports Leeds and played for them and the Rivalry between the 2 clubs will prevent him going to Millwall any way.

All teams down to 19th have a chance of getting into the play-offs. Millwall have a better chance than some but not as good as others. Millwall will sign a striker in the January transfer window (even if it is only on loan to the end of the season). UTW.

28 Nov 2012 10:30:59
spartak moscow forwark Emmanuel
Emenike has been contacted by
Newcastle and Alan Pardew over a £10
million move in the winter.
Alan pardew admitted that newcastle have been
keeping an eye on the nigerian forward
for a number of months, he believes that
25 year old will be a great addition to squad and will take the English Pemier league but storm

Not going to happen! He will be in the nigerian squad for the ACON, we need someone who can play in January

28 Nov 2012 09:50:11
MM has finally lost patience with Dave Jones following last nights latest defeat, compounded by poor performance and apparent lack of effort. The manager Mandaric will now target to get the Owls up the table is lower league legend Ronnie Moore. His performance at taking Tranmere to the top of the league with one of League One's lowest budgets has not gone unnoticed at S6,aswell as the instant impact he made on arriving at the club last season, taking Rovers from the verge of relegation to mid table safety

Really hope not :(

Absolute nonsense.. ronnie isnt going anywhere..

28 Nov 2012 00:12:20
Barnsley manager Keith Hill is expected to get rid of up to five fringe players in the early stages of January to fund some permanent deals of their current loanees and possibly up to another four players.
The most high profile player expected to sign on at Oakwell is Fulham midifleder Simon Davies. Davies is recovering from an injury and would relish a chance in the Championship to regain his fitness.
Another big deal is set to be Sheffield Wednesday forward Gary Madine. The former Carlisle hitman has interested Hill since the summer and an undisclosed fee could be set for after the Peterborough match on New Years Day.
Other potential deals include Macclesfield forward Waide Fairhust and Wales under 21 midfielder Michael Doughty from QPR. Fairhurst has been watched by Hill since January and Doughty will train with the South Yorkshire outfit from the end of December with view to a five month loan deal.

Very much doubt it at current points rate Hill will not be at Barnsley in January

Give hill money and he will do the job

Like all the Rochdale rubbish hes brought in

Bye bye kieth

28 Nov 2012 09:53:02
Doncaster rovers are to sign robbie fowler after training with them and coppinger to come back in january ian hume also to sign fully and akinfenwa is linked with a return with the clubbut it is only likely we will only sign one of these players 2 at most

Iain Hume has stated he has a number of offers on the table including a very lucratve one from a Champioship club.

Hume will leave preston for any club that offers what preston are looking for around 150 k

Beleive me or not but I spoke to Hume last night after the Oldham game and he said he's got a couple of clubs interested but he would rather stay at doncaster and have a push for promotion weather that be till end of season or a contract for a couple of years he didn't say

After the takeover at Leeds United Neil Warnock has re-kindled his interest in his preference of bringing in players he has worked with before.

Top of his list is Shaun Wright Phillips & Jamie Mackie from QPR.

One player rumour which is a bit dodgy is a loan move for Juventus midfield Paul Pogba with a view to a permanent move in the Summer.

Finally a move to bring back former Leeds player Max Gradel from St. Etienne could be on the table if his official twitter is to be believed.

Wright Philips is on 80 grand a week at QPR and Mackie is a first team starter, why would they move backwards

Pogba to leeds funniest thing I've heard all week

Because QPR are going backwards relegation fodder, and leeds are on the way up that plain and simple enough for you ?

Why would they move backwards where are qpr in the league again matey!

Not to metion that 'arry is gunning for defoe so that will leave makie out in the cold if that go's though, think we can get a better forward in than that tho.

My goodness the leeds fans have lost the plot.Reminds me of the nonsense reading fans said in the summer.

Moving backwards going to leeds haha never heard so much rubbish in my life qpr bottom of the league enough said

Leeds on the way up? deluded fans because they have been taken over... Not jealous cuz u haven't got no way near the funds at nffc's disposal... Just stick to mid table mate and hope your new owners spend abit, wright phillips? Keep dreaming

The only place leeds are going up is a creek without a paddle.no chance of promotion

The same pogba who is earning rave reviews in Italy dream on

Qpr can barely even buy a goal never mind a win would much rather be in leeds position than yours

Love the jealousy, even from a florist, lol, lost the plot?, who was it spent all that money just to prop up the prem lge, oh yea, the mighy hoops, lol.back to florist we don't need to brag about how much money we have to spend, hasn't exactly done florist any good, meidocre team going nowhere. But i will brag ,we are considerably richer than anyone else in the championship and we are going up
