January transfer rumours for arsenal
arsenal will try to laure some of these big names in january yaya toure mathew upson arshavin and tevez cuz tvez is only on loan at manu and if he wants to play regular football he should play for arsenal also arsenal will try to sign some youngsters
First things first, to the delusional Rangers fan, who predicts Andrei Arshavin to Rangers, please even Tottenham seem a better option. . .
And on loan with views to an £8m permanent move, dreaming again. . .
I will once again, refuse to waste all the Gunners time, but I'd love Arshavin, Yaya, Upson, Green, but the reality is, looking bleak.
Marco Van Basten to replace Arsene Wenger?? Interesting!!
Now to another point that needs addressing. .
Cesc Fabregas will NOT sign for Barcelona for £45m, they will not pay so much for a player who started out at them, Cesc will return to Barca in 2014 once his contract expires. For no fee and a massive salary and signing on fee.
Norwich City rumours doing the rounds are (with varying degrees of intensity and credibility):
Leroy Lita (permanent)
A central defender (this had better be true)
Croft (linked to Sheff Utd)
Cureton (permanent to Barnsley)
If you want my take, then Croft out and Lita in look the hottest tips.
"This is happening at Glasgow Rangers
Andrei arshavin on loan with view to a permanent deal 8 mill if the gers win the league."
That won't be happening then, eh?
Hernan Crespo in talks with Celtic with view to loan move for rest of season to place himself in shop window. Jose doesn't rate him at Inter.
Arsenal in for upson/green/frings/malouda
spurs in for bellamy/vassel/kranjcar
chelsea in for bellamy/adriano/luka toni
fulham in for kazim richards/huth
west ham in for pazzini/gudjonsson/ferrera/cudicini
Elano Blumer will sign a loan deal at the emirates with a view to a permanent deal in the summer if he impresses.
A winger is likely to join him, players being looked at are; Babel, McGeady and Arshavin.
Babel is getting on Rafa's nerves and would like the opertunity to play for the club which he supported as boy.
Webger sees McGeady as ther cheap option(as long as there's no bidding war)
Wenger is currently trying get a loan deal for Arshavin to make sure that the euro's wasn't just a purple patch and also to see how he settles into the premier league.
As for the problematic central defensive midfield position, the main target is Alonso who is unlikely to come until the end of the season as villa won't let barry go until the end of the season and liverpool aren't prepared to waste money just to get a player who they can get 6 months later on a free.
Another optiion for arsenal is Marchena who can also play center back.
Man City Ins: (January)
Ben Haim (Blackburn–£5m)
To Goona Numba 1, are you a donut or something. Denilson, diaby and song are average players at best. I miss the days when we had real quality in the middle of the park, like viera, that was a player. Diaby is a player that hasn't got a perfect position, and at any rate its certainly not dm, he's much too attacking for that. Denilson is just feeble, a swear a dm is suppose to have a bit of strength, look at quality holding mids past and present, they all have strength and are great passers, viera, makelele, keane. Why did we get rid of diarra, now Madrid have him and I believe he'll do a great job for em, he has it all in that position, strength, pace, passing ability, aggression, compare that to what we got and it's a joke that we ever got rid of him.
We should spend our money on a holding midfielder and a tough centre back, that would actually give our team a bit of back bone, something we've missed for a while. A winger would only be necessary for the right hand side to play whilst walcott is out, rosicky might as well leave the club becuase theres little point in having a cripple that just takes up wage money.
Arshavin won't come in january or the summer as we all know wenger would rather marry ferguson then spend a decent amount of money on a player and £20 million will probably be too much for his sensibilities too bare.
To be honest I doubt if wenger will make any signings until summer, and even if he does make any signings they'll probably just be top ups for the already bloated reserves team. WHY CAN'T WENGER BUY SOMEONE WHO HAS A BIT OF EXPERIENCE. It's maddening.
I've supported arsenal all my life and for the first time since wenger came to the club I'm starting to lose faith in his judgement, I think he would rather bring the club down then be proved wrong and have to spend money in order to win, he has a philosophy and he will not change it, unfortunately football has changed and his way doesn't work anymore.
Don't get me wrong, I love the way we player football, but without good experienced players [that normally cost more than raw younsters] we will not win a title for some years too come.

Hello, I'm part of the sport coverage team on Radio Sheffield, and have a few little tads of gossip for you. There's attention between the local clubs.
Firstly, James Beattie will be sold to Reading in January as a replacement for Doyle. Nathan Ellington or Rowan Vine are the names currently thought to be seen as replacements.
Barnsley will be making a shock bid for Marcus Tudgay, but it isn't thought they'll pull off the deal. Aaron Mclean, Glen Whelan & Carlos Edwards are wanted. Funds will have to come through the sale of Muller though. Doncaster will attempt to sign Kayode Odejayi on loan. They are also tracking Ritchie Barker.
Anybody remember my information regarding Newcastles interest in SK Brann Bergens Erik Huseklepp? Just days later it was confirmed by several Norwegian newspapers.
So, here is another piece of info from me. This one is even more shocking, but still true. SK Brann is preparing at 2 year deal for former England international and Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler. Brann has asked Robbies agent if he would be interested and the answer was positiv. In Norway Robbie is guaranteed to become a key player and end his career in a honorable fashion.
My source is someone in close connection with SK Brann Bergen.
David moyes will make moves for these players:
wes brown 5m
gary neville 500k
carlos vela loan
di santo loan
james harper 2m
seb larrson 1m
players that could leave are:
tony hibbert 3m
vander meyde 4m
moyes would like to sign at least 2 of the above player and will spend no more than 10m, moyes is hoping to recoup at least 7m.
The loan deals LFC will be entering into with their fringe players will not only pay for the wage but also cover a small profit (miniscule in terms of the larger picture) I agree with other posts in relation to Vorinon, Pennant and the big one Babbel. In saying that i posted about Babbel months ago. Sorry to upset the Bolton fans but Kevin Davies is on the radar for the mighty reds, Nolan is going off the simmer but was originally considered. This falls in line with RAFA's captain seeking policy, first it was BARRY now its DAVIES. This means that Pennant will be going the other way as part exchange possibly with another fringe player.
Also, talk about sucking up for a job, everyone knows Old red nose Fergie cant last in the job forever, God bless him, but did everyone listen to Mourinho, "I'll bring a nice bottle of red. .i love English football. its played with the heart. why didnt he just say I'd like to be the next Manure manager and come straight out with it. How would Man U fans think of him being their next manager.??? Its a very serious possibility. Its one way of keeping twinkle toes at the club.
Hope everyone had a safe Christmas, keep it safe in the new year as well.
