Then you have Manchester United, Liverpool and of course chelsea (why not have one of the best keepers in the world when you can have two) who will happily part with the entire national turnover of a small african nation for well anybody!

Given Wengers track record of signing unknown young players and more established players who do not fall into the "superstar" caragory. Wenger likes to develop players to fit the Arsenal style, occasionly straight replacements occur i.e. Rosicky. Who in England had heard of Lehman, and look how well he`s done! maybe Buffon is a real option to break the rule of "superstar", we do need a good solid long tern replacement for Seaman, Lehman was never going to go on for ever.

It is understood that SAF has been set aside upwards of £30 million but a bit of that is for next summer.
Expect two signings for United.
