As a part of the deal that saw Sterling join the Reds Dani Pacheco will be loaned to QPR for all of next season. While he would feature in the first team more if he stayed up for the year, he will be a superstar in the Championship and the experience will be huge for his future. Sterling himself might also be loaned back for a year.

MANCHESTER CITY BREAKING NEWS.

Carlos Tevez will move to Real Madrid after the World Cup a clause within his contract allows this to happen. Good Luck great player to have within Premier

27 Apr 2010 22:15:18
Wenger will not sell any of the following players: Clichy, Sagna, Eboue, Arshavin, Denilson, Rosicky, Diaby and Fabregas. I mention these names as they have all been linked in some way or other with a move away from the Emirates. Every effort will be made to retain the services of William Gallas, and this effort will pay off. Sol Campbell will also be retained for another season, before he retires and moves into coaching, beginning with a defensive coaching role at Arsenal.
Leaving for sure are Silvestre, Senderos and Merida, all on free transfers. Strong possibilities to follow suit are Traore(4), Eduardo(7), Simpson(4) and Almunia(3). one of Fabianski and Almunia with definitely be shown the door.
The likes of Wilshere, Mannone, Watt and JET will be on loan next season.
Coming in will be a GK, CB, CF and LM for sure. Any more signings will be bonuses.
At GK, Neuer, Adler, Hart and Frey are frequently mentioned names. Although I would jump at the chance of Hart joining, the injury to Shay Given opens the door for him to stake his claim at Man City, his parent club, next season. Frey and Adler are the most likely options, available for about 7m and 10 respectively.
CBs linked with the club include Zapata, Sakho, Subotic, Cahill, Kjaer, Richards, Hangeland and Tasci. Forget Kjaer, Tasci and Cahill. these players won't be signed. Hangeland, though excellent, is nearly 30 and Richards is more suited to RB. My pick would be Subotic or Sakho, though if Gallas did in fact leave, 2 CB would come in.
At CF, Chamakh will come in for free, a good bit of business.
Eden Hazard is overwhelming favourite to come in on the left of midfield. Wenger will make sure that this happens, especially having missed out on Robinho to Real Madrid a few years ago.
Wenger may additionally decide to reinforce the DCM position, but don't count on it.
Lets not also forget that midfielder Samuel Galindo and Brazilian wonderkid Wellington Silva will be Arsenal players next season.

RECAP:
OUT: Silvestre, Senderos, Merida, Almunia, Eduardo, Traore, Simpson, Gilbert.
LOANS: Vela, Wilshere, Fabianski, Watt, JET
INS: Frey, Subotic, Chamakh, Hazard.
LOAN RETURNS: Botelho, Nordtveit, Sunu, Galindo, Wellington Silva, Szczesny, Lansbury.

SQUAD:
GK: Frey, Szczesny, Mannone
D: Sagna, Eboue, Clichy, Gibbs, Botelho, Gallas, Vermaelen, Subotic, Djourou, Campbell, Nordtveit
M: Song, Eastmond, Denilson, Fabregas, Diaby, Rosicky, Ramsey, Galindo, Lansbury
W: Nasri, Walcott, Arshavin, Hazard, Wellington
CF: vPersie, Chamakh, Bendtner, Sunu

next season: Gallas to leave, replaced by one of the CB mentioned, Campbell to retire and be permanently replaced by Nordtveit, Fabianski to be sold as Wenger will finally realise he is worthless and Vela may also be shown the door. Arshavin my be sold, with a quality replacement coming in. DCM cover will finally be brought in. No other major movement will occur.
Best team:
Frey
Sagna Subotic Vermaelen Clichy(hg)
Song(hg) Fabregas(hg) Diaby(hg)
Nasri vPersie Hazard
subs: Szczesny, Eboue, Gallas, Walcott(hg), Arshavin, Chamakh, Ramsey(hg).
backups: Mannone(hg), Djourou(hg), Campbell(hg), Rosicky, Denilson(hg), Gibbs(hg), Bendtner(hg), Eastmond(hg), Sunu, Nordtveit, Botelho, Wellington, Galindo.

Why would Amauri leave Juventus for United:
1) he plays regular football for Juventus

5)HE IS TAKING UP AN ITALIAN NATIONALITY!!

WHUFC NEWS–
West Ham will launch a new and improved offer believed to be in the region of 6 million plus Jonathan Spector for Graham Dorrans. Another reason why we are trying to sign him is due to the fact that the manager Gold and Sullivan wants to replace Gianfranco Zola is in fact Roberto Di Matteo. Steve McClaren was first choice but he does not want to leave FC Twente as they will be in the Champions league. The only other player Di Matteo will be looking to take to West Ham from West Brom is Joe Mattock. He will be given 30 million to spend!

Rangers are in a real mess. May mean no Europen football next year if they can't hand over their accounts. Dont believe me its happened to Portsmouth too. Big tax bill and also bank and Murray puttin the squeeze on could mean administration and a trip to 3rd division on the cards. Dark days ahead in Ibrox. Smith to walk and everyone to be sold or released at the end of the season. Cant see any positives just now for the club.

27 Apr 2010 19:04:02
Liverpool ins this summer:

Heard that Blackpool's Charlie Adams will sign for Everton in the summer for around £2m with Seamus Coleman staying with Blackpool for another season loan as part of the deal. Only 22 and scored 18 goals this term..Could be another lower league gem unearthed by Sir David Moyes

27 Apr 2010 19:19:11
Rumours of Yoann Gourcuff joining Man Utd have been gathering pace in the media. Utd have had him watched for almost the whole season and have been very impressed with his creativity and vision. Laurent Blanc has been spoken to about the move and he has recommended Utd to Yoann ahead of other big clubs as Utd are the perfect club to develop his game even further. He does not want another failed stint at a big club like at AC Milan few years ago.

Blanc has also been told he is the Fergie's choice, alongside Moyes, to take over in 2 years time. So he is more than happy to let Gourcuff establish himself at Utd before he comes over. This could also be why he let Obertan leave for Utd after he was consulted by Fergie over the player's progress

Chelsea rumours please !

27 Apr 2010 18:11:17
This is 100% true, Milner will join manchester united this summer.Sorry to all you villa fans but he is leaving, to all you deluded people manchester united may be in debt but the idea they have no money is laughable. Milner plus 2 more players will be brought in this summer.David Moyes will not be SAF successor, theres more chance of him being at anfield next season..which would never happen.

I understand this is a rumour site but it seems to be changing into a fantasy site.

REMEMBER YOU HEARD THIS FROM TIBBY!!

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS WHAT I THINK WILL HAPPEN AFTER LISTENING TO INTERVIEWS WITH WENGER, READING OTHER TRANSFER RUMOURS AND SIMPLY AFTER WHAT WENGER HAS DONE IN OTHER TRANSFER WINDOWS, I AM NOT SAYING THIS WILL 100% HAPPEN AND IT MOST LIKELY WONT, BUT IT GIVES AN IDEA OF WHAT OTHERS HAVE BEEN SAYING, IN REALISTIC TERMS. ANYBODY WHO SAYS THEY KNOW FOR SURE, OR "HAVE A CONTACT" OR "SPOKE TO MANAGER/PLAYER" OR "PICKED THEM UP IN A TAXI" IS CLEARLY LYING!

27 Apr 2010 16:35:47
I hace heard a lot of rumours saying Carlos Tevez is going to leave Manchester City for Liverpool for £18million and that he is best freinds with Javier Mascherano , I am a Liverpool fan and would love to see Tevez partner up with Torres but get real Man. City bought Tevez last year for £25million and after he has had a great year why would they accept £18million from one of their rivals , the real price would be more like £30million and Tevez came out and said last year he would not play for Liverpool, and just because they are both Argentinian does not mean they are best freinds it is well known the two don't get on and Mascherano is best freinds with Maxi Rodriguez. However Carlos Tevez from what I hear will be pushing for a shock move but unfortunatley he will not be coming down to Anfield, instead it is believed he will be going to Real Madrid in a deal that could see Gonzalo Higuain or Karim Benzema moving the other way.Liverpool will be getting hopefully the bargain of the summer however in the form of Rafael Van der Vaart for £7.5million, someone said on hear he would cost £20million but he is not seen as an integral part of the team neither is Gonzalo Higuain god only knows why because they have both been brilliant this season but he will be coming on the cheap it was agreed last year as part of the Alonso/Arbeloa deal, the only reason he didn't come last year was because his wife was sick.Robben was Madrid's player of the season last year and was shipped out same story for Higuain this year as he does not get on with Ronaldo.

To the person who said this:
1.United have a bid of 10mil plus carrick accepted for milner. MON saw this as a good deal since he can buy a top quality player with his15mil budget plus 10mil and a ready replacement for milner.

A deal has not been agreed for milner, stop posting fantasy stuff on here and list actual rumours and not just ones you are making up, we have not accepted any bid for milner and we won't this season and especially not 10m + carrick it will be at least 18m+carrick or a straight 24m.

In other actual rumours today:

Villa might test west brom in a bid for dorrans after a bid around 4m from west ham has been rejected.

The daily mail are also linking aston villa with a 10m move for carlton cole, would be a poor move if they did. they also say we will attempt to get stephen ireland and hleb who is also being targeted by sunderland and manchested city.

GLASGOW RANGERS

Any genuine rumours please!

27 Apr 2010 16:10:08
Kevin Doyle is not leaving Wolves. Wolves in: Robbie Keane from Tottenham

27 Apr 2010 16:12:45
I'm a Man Utd fan and would like to know how rumours regarding a Vidic/Benzema swap deal can be classed as a 'done deal'. If someone is claiming that Benzema is joining utd on loan for a year with Vidic going the other way in a year's time, please can you state how you can class this to be a 'done deal'? Likewise, with other rumours flying around, can we refrain from calling them done deals until we are 100% certain. Thanks!

27 Apr 2010 15:56:41
To the fool who says milner will not go to united because he is a leeds boy:– just 1 question aren't ferdinand and smith from leeds? they still went to united didn't they?
Onto rumours:–
1.United have a bid of 10mil plus carrick accepted for milner. MON saw this as a good deal since he can buy a top quality player with his15mil budget plus 10mil and a ready replacement for milner.
2.Benzema will move to united on loan with money to be paid in 3 half yearly installments. NO VIDIC OR ROONEY SWAP.Benzema is causing lots of disruptions in dressing room and is disliked by the manager who will not be sacked. fiorentino perez is ready to listen to offers of 25 mil.+. Real will sign villa for 35mil. Silva will move to barcelona.
3.Berbatov will not be sold. he will go only if a 20mil+ offer arrives which is unlikely. If it does then SAF will be looking at buying Lloris this summer. if not lloris will come in next summer.
4.Foster will be sold to spurs for 5–8 mil.
5.Tom cleverley will mbecome regualr in the subs next season.
5.Buyers for liverpool will be holding out till the end of the seeason to see if liverpool finish4th and to look at torres carragher and gerrard's decision to stay or leave. the price will be decided on these factors.
6. chelsea and man city are on collision course for a host of players which include pato torres and dimaria

27 Apr 2010 16:00:18
The red knights will NOT buy United this summer or the next. The club is valued at nearly £2Billion and £750M debts are still rising.
Interest rates will put £250M on top of this by the time red knights save up enough cash. £1billion debt.
If United get a ridulous offer for rooney this summer e.g £100M, they would be retarded to turn it down.
SO to all you people out there claiming they will be spending nearly £100M on players this summer, shut up. They'll be after more free's than Liverpool and Berbatov is being sold to generate funds.
I'll tell you where the ronaldo money went, straight to the banks you still owe money to.
Why do you think Moyes is being lined up as the next boss. BECAUSE HE CAN WORK ON LIMITED FUNDS. Everton will finish 8th this year despite only spending about £10M last summer.
Liverpool Fans (i am one of you) DIC won't buy us EVER, they are £60Billion in debt and are currently being bailed out by there neighbours, Abu Dhabi as they owe 12.5billion in two months!
The sheikh of Dubai himself (personnal funds) was the eastern bidder, but a chinese consortium led by Kenneth Huang has already had a £500M offer accepted and unless the sheikh can top it in the next week the deal will be done !
This means liverpool will have funding of around £100M(including Rafa's mass clearout).
Top two targets are Milner and Tevez. Rafa is a long term admirer of Milner and he has promised Mascherano, if he signs a new deal he WILL buy Tevez no matter what the asking price. However seing as City don't really need masses of cash and Tevez as fallen out with Mancini, we won't be forced to pay any more than £18–30M.
RAFA WILL STAY, JUVENTUS CANNOT AFFORD TO BUY TORRES AND RAFA LOVES TORRES. If he left this summer it would be to Real Madrid so he would have the cash to buy Torres (however Torres would still take some convincing as his whole family are athletico fans!). Real Madrid want Mourihno or to stick with their current manager anyway though.
IF Tevez does leave Man City it would undoubtedly be to LFC as:
1. they will have the cash for him
2. Mascherano is his best mate
3. He is finally settled in a House between Liverpool and Machester so apart from United (who he hates) we are the only other top team in the area.

Sorry united fans, just being realistic. I hope you win the Title though cuz chelsea are scum and since you brought Owen i've unfortunately developed a soft spot for you. Who cares about our record, i want Owen to win the EPL, best English striker ever who has just been unfortunate enough to suffer from injury for 5 straight years.

Bob Marley Jnr.

'Someone on here today claiming Liverpool will get Van der Vaart for £10m. Try doubling that and you might be close. Van der Vaart has become an integral member of teh first team this season and will not be sold on the cheap.'

Actually they are close to agreeing a fee of £6 million for VDV. He is anything but an 'integral' part of the Madrid team.

27 Apr 2010 15:36:05
Youngster david wilson will sign for preston on wages of £10,000 a week on a 2 year contract, also preston will re–sign david nugent for 1millon pounds from pompey.. you heard it here first!

"Just a quick pointer, but the Newcastle fan shouting about United's policy of not signing anyone over 26 – Kevin Nolan. I rest my case!" – To whoever wrote that well done genuis. Noland was signed 2 seasons before we implemented the new transfer policy but just for some ironic laughs he was 25/16 when he signed as well you thicko ! Philipe Senderos is a genuine target but for nothing more than 4th choice ch. Taylor will stay and most likely play a lot of away games at rb next season, he is a better defender than simpson and quite handy going forward at times and capable of chipping in with some goals.

27 Apr 2010 15:07:49
Graham Dorrans is going to snub West Ham in favour of a move to Aston Villa , West Ham have had a £4million bid rejected today and West Brom are not going to sell for any less than £6million which Martin O Neill is planning an raising by selling Steve Sidwell. Jonjo

Andrey Arshavin is on his way out of Arsenal after another outburst , this is the fifth time since joining Arsenal that he has criticised the club and today he again said Arsenal will not challenge for the title next year and he does not want to stick around going on to say how he dreams of playing for Barcelona, talks are about to get underway between the two clubs with Arsenal officials flying out to Barcelona later this week and he is expected to be leaving for a fee in the region of £20million, a deal will be concluded at the start of next month.Liverpool and Manchester United target David Silva is the man Arsene Wenger is looking to bring in as Arshavin's replacement, Arsene hopes to bring in David Silva for between £20–£25million.

Arsenal Rumours.
Outs– Fabianski(2m) Senderos(free) Silvestre(free) Troare(free) Sagna(14m) Denilson(5m) Eduardo(8m)
Arshavin(18m)
OUTS– 47 million

Ins– Frey(9m) He is 30 years old so Arsenal will try and get him for a few years and try and bring the likes of Mannone and Szczesny through.

Richards(8m) This will 100% happen if City get Maicon. He can replace Sagna at right back but can also cover at CB. He also has premier league experience and ofcourse qualifies as home grown.

Subotic(20m) He is one of the most highly rated CBs around and he is only 21. He is being chased by alot of clubs though. He lived and played in America so therefore he can speak great english and has already said he would love to play in the premier league.

Fellaini(18m) Strong in the air and in a tackle and a great passer as well and has proven himself to know what it takes to be a success in the premier league.

Hazard(13m) He has been chased by Wenger for years and i don't think Wenger will have him in his nearly signed list along with the likes of Ronaldo. He can play on either wing and will come in to replace Arshavin.

Chamakh(free) Him and his agent have both said about how he is looking forward to playing for Arsenal and the reasons why he is going so i just think he will go.

INS–68 million.
NET SPEND– 21 million.

Metzelder has just signed a 3 year contract with Schalke so he won't be going to Arsenal which is why i think they will retain Gallas and Campbell and also if the price for Arshavin is a stubbling block to Barca he could go on loan for a year with Bojan goin the other way much like the reyes/Baptista deal.

Craig Levein has been sounded out to become celtic manager, that was one of the reasons Gordon Smith left his post at the SFA last week

Beckford (Leeds) swap for Bogdanovic + Macken (Barnsley)

Also
Anderson De Silva (Barnsley) swap for Lee Grant (Wednesday) because Mark Robins is not happy with the goalkeepers at the club, because they are too unconsistent.

Also
Dickinson and Shotton (Stoke) will sign for Barnsley on permanent deal.

MAN UNITED

Okay, a former university friend now works in the French media, sports in general, but obviously gets a lot of tips and nudges regarding transfer talk. He has given me solid info suggesting MUFC are planning a double–swoop on the french league this summer. United want a) GK, b) CAM, c) STR. SAF feels he could do with a LW and possibly a CDM, but the three above take priority, and the talk in France is as follows.

GK – Arsenal have reportedly cooled their interest in Hugo Lloris of Lyon and turned attentions to Serie A and the Bundesliga. The reason being, a deal is in place that will see Lloris join United in the summer and do battle with VDS for the number 1 jersey in the Dutchman's final season. The fee is rumoured to be either a) £12million plus Tomasz Kuszczak; or b) £16million plus Anderson on 6–12month loan. If the former, Foster will be loaned out for the season, if the latter, Foster will be sold full–stop.

CAM – The top three targets for SAF are Milner, Gourcuff and Hamsik. Hamsik is edging closer to a move to Inter Milan, and Milner will provoke a bidding war..as would Gourcuff. However, SAF has all–but–agreed (using his great relationship with Laurent Blanc, Bordeaux manager) a fee of £18million in the summer, which would see Anderson, Kuszczak or maybe even Carrick heading in the other direction for a 12month loan and first buying option. Berbatov has also been mentioned as a makeweight in the deal.

Finally, a striker – will not be decided upon til after the world cup. SAF feels he might see a tasty bargain or dark horse rise in South Africa. If not, Berbatov and Owen will make way (the latter MAY be kept) and an experienced but cheap striker such as Lukas Podolski or Kevin Kuranyi (both could be signed for Tosic plus a small amount of money, and both's clubs ARE interested in Tosic).

Just watch this space.

An EGM has been called at Deepdale for this Friday, it will be announced that Hemmings will be leaving the club as he has failed to acquire shaws shares. And feels he cannot work with the current framework at the club.

27 Apr 2010 13:12:18
Juventus will be the big spenders in Serie A this season. Whether they will manage to pull in the players they want (given that they will be competing in the Europa League) is another matter. Rafa Benitez will arrive shortly before the World Cup begins and top targets are: Dirk Kuyt, Javier Mascherano, Bacary Sagna, Alberto Aquilani and Carlos Tevez. To raise extra funds for these transfers, they may have to sell Gigi Buffon, Felipe Melo and Giorgio Chiellini.

Man City – The injury to Shay Given last weekend will mean Joe Hart being installed as No.1 keeper for the start of the 10/11 season as Given recovers from surgery (dislocated shoulder with ligament and tendon damage). This effectively ends all speculation regarding a transfer/loan to Arsenal, Birmingham, Tottenham, West Ham etc. Man City are left in a predicament for their remaining 2 games due to GK injuries. This may mean they miss out on the CL place – they will not make the same mistake twice.

Liverpool could turn to departing Real Madrid captain Raul as their replacement for Barcelona bound Fernando Torres. If Hodgson comes in to replace Benitez, expect to see moves for Hangeland and Zamora this summer. Money will be made available to the new manager following the sale of Torres, but not all will be reinvested in the squad. Reducing the debt will be first and foremost – there will be no takeover from DIC (how long has this rumour been going now?) due to the outrageous demands of Hicks and Gillett. Someone on here today claiming Liverpool will get Van der Vaart for £10m. Try doubling that and you might be close. Van der Vaart has become an integral member of teh first team this season and will not be sold on the cheap.

Arsenal will lose William Gallas, Fran Merida, Phillipe Senderos, Tomas Rosicky and Manuel Almunia this summer. Replacements will come from Neuer/Lloris/Ochoa – Robert Green is no longer being considered due to West Ham's survival. CB's to be replaced by Sakho/Cahill/Metzelder/Savic. Midfield reinforcements from Senna/Witsel/Toulalan/Fellaini and Gourcuff/Hazard/J.Cole. Forwards will be Chamakh coming in with Eduardo out on loan. Van der Wiel will replace Sagna should he leave for Juventus.

Chelsea to turn their attentions to Kaka and Chiellini (to replace the departing Ashley Cole). Ballack will also be leaving.

Man Utd will lose Michael Owen, Dimitar Berbatov and Owen Hargreaves. Owen to be sold to Villa, Berbatov going to Bayern and Hargreaves out on loan to prove his fitness. Rodwell in with Hargreaves loan/first option as compensation. Milner in with Owen as compensation. For the guy loudly claiming Milner is a Leeds lad and would not consider a move to Utd – same thing was said of Smith.. and look what happened! Milner is a professional footballer – he will move wherever he can to improve his game. He will be the long term replacement for Paul Scholes. Gary Neville is likely to retire rather than extend his career with Everton. Akinfeev likely to come in Jan 11 with van der Sar retiring at the end of next season.

Just a quick pointer, but the Newcastle fan shouting about United's policy of not signing anyone over 26 – Kevin Nolan. I rest my case! Newcastle will have around £20–25 million to strengthen the squad. Experienced players will make up the bulk of this with the emphasis being on survival and whether Hughton can manage in the Premiership before they start making ambitious moves for top quality players again. Taylor likely to be sold (Everton), Senderos to partner Collocini at the back.

Martin O Neill to give it one last year with Villa in the hope that Ferguson calls it a day at the end of 2011. He wants the Old Trafford stewardship long term.

27 Apr 2010 13:20:58
Torres And Gerrard certain to stay at Liverpool this summer but if a repeat of this season is seen to be taking place again then by january one of the two will leave the team as the biggest surprise transfer a january transfer window has seen in a long time.

expect torres to take a move abroad (most likely to inter)
and gerrard to make the move to real (liverpool really do need to cash in on him before his value decreases due to age and lack of form)

If anyone is interested in any real rumours as opposed to wosh lists and what's in last weeks papers then pay attentian.

Arsenal have made an enquiry about the avalabilty of Metzelder from real Madrid, however Metzelder will move back to Germany with Schalke 04.

Sergio Aguero is to snub Chelsea and do the unthinkable and join REAL MADRID. Although rumour has it that Imbrahimavic could be on his his way to the premiership and Aguero would get his prefered move to Barca. (dont know who Ibra will be joining but can only be a few possibilities)

Everton will sign (or at least bid for) Sergio Canarles from Racing Santander.

the metzelder stuff is plausible, but aguero to madrid? and ibra to leave barca? give over!
on top of this canales signed for real madrid earlier this season, so how do you propose he would move to everton when they won't even loan him back to racing? (in the news today on BBC)

Sir Alex is looking for two bigger signings on top of Smalling (10m) Hernandez (7m) and possibly Azeez. Top targets are a free scoring mid to replace scholes/giggs. names include: David Silva, Yoann Gourcuff, Marek Hamsik, Angel Di Maria, Steven Defour, Luk Modric amongst others, however SAF is unwilling to get into a bidding war for any of them, as they are all of a similar standard he will plump for who he views the best.
100% true, i know people.

MAN UTD NEWS:

Leaving will be:
Foster on loan til january to put him in the shop window then sold when his price is highest in jan (6–8 mil) (new keeper will be sought in jan to replace VDS at the eng of the season)

Carrick (7–10mil) possible swap/makeweight (Gibson Fletcher and Hargreaves provide enough cover)

Owen (1–2mil) possible swap/makeweight (Hernandez Welbeck and Macheda are all better)

Tosic (5–9mil) (good player but can't handle the power and pace of the premier league)

Cathcart (500k–1mil) (can't get into the team)

Possebon (4–5mil) (better players infront of him in the pecking order)

Anderson has until January to prove himself if not he will be sold (12–14mil) (hasnt been consistantly good enough)

Berbatov has until the end of the season to prove himself or he will be sold (14–18mil) (where is the real Berbatov, the one who terrorised defences while at spurs, just doesn't fit the united system?)

these sales will raise between 25–50mil plus the annual 20mil budget and some of the Ronaldo money means Sir Alex has plenty to spend if he so wishes but as his team are still in with a shout with the league and were unlucky to be out of the champions league he feels that his team only needs tweaking. So with that in mind apart from youngsters there won't be many players coming in over the summer, Sir Alex stated that one or maybe two will sign these will be an attacking midfielder and maybe a striker but only if Berbatov leaves, no winger will be sought as we have Valencia Nani Park Giggs and Obertan who play on the wings plus Rooney Flecther Gibson Welbeck and Hargreaves can all play in a wing if needed so theres really no need for a new winger is there(its just common sense really). A goalkeeper will be bought in January and will then fight it out with VDS and Kuszczak until the end of the season at which point VDS will retire.

Joining will be:
Smalling(8–10m) & Hernandez(7–10m) confirmed
Haris Vuckic (6–8m)
Roberto Firminio, Marnick Vermijl, Ramon Azeez for undisclosed fees.

one of:
Yohann Gourcuff (20–25m) top target but expensive.

James Milner (18–22m) a leeds boy would he sign? maybe to progress his career. (also depends on weather he'll be playing champions league with villa)

Luka Modric (18–22m) talks took place in january but that dosen't guarentee anything it really depends on who gets 4th place.

Milos Krasic (12–16m) again talks took place in january while his agent was in liverpool arranging the Jovanovic deal.

Marek Hamsik (16–22m) admired by Sir Alex who's had him watched since he was 17.

with all these players if a bidding war starts then united will walk away, we won't be paying over the odds for any of them.

if Berbatov leaves then one of:

Hulk (15–18m)

Mirko Vucinic (16–18m)

Luis Fabiano (12–15m)

or an outside chance of Karim Benzema (20–25m) but this is highly unlikely due to tensions between the clubs and Real Madrids Pursuit of Vidic would mean they'd want him as part of the deal, which Sir Alex won't do.

sorry its been a long one but i hope it cleared a few things up.

Shappy

Extremely interesting reading this morning's papers, and that how good some people are at manipulating what and how newspapers deliver their story's? mr sullivan for instance explained that west ham will listen to offers for all player's apart from scott parker! what the papers fail to deliver to its reader is the fact that scott parker will infact move to white hart lane (cash+player or player only), which would then leave mr sullivan to claim that it was the player that forced his hand and wanted out! the story goes, the deal to take scott parker to white hart lane was concluded in january, but due to the players injury at the time, the deal was frozen until the summer, the new owners at west ham are trying to re–write the frozen contract to which the white hart lane club are willing to do so, so long as they still get the player (which they will)!! spurs are happy to drop the price and hand over a player or the possibility of just a player (rumoured to be j.jenas?), mr sullivan like most people in life, is trying to cover his back and fight for his club! but the fact remains the same? scott parker will become a tottenham player in the summer.

Jenas to newcastle?! You have a short memory, don't you remember what he said when he left? More likely to go back to forest if they go up, as his family and friends are there.

Talking of which, there are no forest rumours to be had as they can't plan until they know which div they'll be in and davies has it locked down tighter than a scotsmans wallet anyway. However, judging by past signing strategy it seems likely that if they go up Shorey will rejoin, few if any will leave, I would expect some young starlet to join (maybe siggurdson) and probably pratley and a replacement for adebola also. Certainly no repeat of last year.

Davies has already said that he and the board don't care if they go straight back down, promotion will pay for the new stadium. Personally I don't therefore expect to see a lot of money spent.

27 Apr 2010 08:00:02
David Sullivan has openly admitted that West Ham will be able to sell ANY of their players is a reasonable bid is put in for them. There is one exception to this rule.. SCOTT PARKER! He will not be sold no matter what the price as he is vital to the chemistry of the club. Sullivan has promised ALL funds raised from player sales will go back to the squad as transfer funds along with some extra funds from the owners.
Upson has been offered a new 3 year contract worth around £60k a week (about what he earns now) It is likely that Upson will not accept this offer so he looks set to leave the club this summer.

27 Apr 2010 08:09:08
LFC ins – latest rumours
Drenthe – Real £6–8m (left wing)
Youngsters – shelvey, Cofie and Peterson (15 year old Swedish star of the future)

Problem for Rafa/his replacement will be to bring in quality and maintain squad depth at same time.

Likely outs – Cavalieri (cut price or free), Aurelio (fr), degen/plessis/spearing/san jose (all up to £3m each), Riera/Babel/Benayoun/N'gog (between £5m and £10m each) plus a few fringe players released/cut price exits. Its likely that some of these departures will be either/or (eg Babel or Yossi) to retain some squad depth. Sales revenue likely to be abt £25m. So even if new owners produce chunky transfer fund expect to see a few experienced players coming in on frees – Dida, Jankulovski (? Spelling) to build up depth, with a few fringe players also getting more pitch time (Pacheco, Ayala et al)

27 Apr 2010 01:58:59
It isn't news that Rangers are in a poor financial state!! For this fact there will not be a lot of transfer movement during the summer and the majority will be SPL transfers.

I'm not going to pretend i know where these players will go.

Chelsea, Man U, Arsenal and Man City Summer 2010 Transfers

Chelsea

OUT
Deco, Ballack, Joe Cole, Kalou, Anelka, Belletti, Ferreira, and possibly (though hopefully not) Ashley Cole

In

Deco: In for Deco it seems will come Rafael van der Vaart, though Pjanic, Dzagoev and Teixeira all play roughly the same role and are younger and cheaper, Dzagoev is known as a big Chelsea fan, Pjanic's UCL performances for OL apparently have sparked the interest of Real and Teixeira was the best player at the recent Youth World Cup in Egypt, all should at least receive some consideration. David Silva is the best option, but is probably destined for one of Spain's big 2 a true coup if he were to come to Stamford Bridge. Urreta would be great alongside Kakuta or di Maria he's probably a 2012 signing.

Ballack: Michael Ballack should be replaced by Bastian Schweinsteiger, or should we have a problem with our local player quota, Ashley Young. He is both very talented and very local two good things, further strong performances make him a more attractive prospect, but also push up his price. Yoann Gourcuff should also enter consideration.

Joe Cole: For Joe Cole, the versatile Angel di Maria who can play on either side would be good, but a genuine right winger like Gai Assulin would probably be better. Quaresma is an option but the problem is which Quaresma you are getting, the guy who you want on your side or the guy you want to sit on the side. Thiago Alcantara is only really an option if Cesc returns to Barca.

Kalou: As for Kalou there are several options, Moussa Dembele and Seydou Doumbia both highly talented and strong physical forwards, who fit in well with our style of play. They are both young, 22, and though potentially outclassed by their rising countrymen (Romelu Lukaku and Lacina Traore) any of those four would be good signings. There is also Neymar and Nilmar, both of whom should also be considered serious contenders for Kalou's job. Romelu Lukaku is a must!

Anelka: For Anelka, the clear front runner is Aguero, he may not exactly fit our style immediately, but his class is apparent to all. Pato seems destined to one day join Chelsea my guess another year of failure at Milan will convince him to jump ship. Finally there is Luis Suarez who we apparently have first refusal on, presumably a refusal we'll only act upon if Citeh outbids us in the race for Aguero.

Belletti and Ferreira: Neven Subotic, David Luiz and Bruno Alves have all been mentioned, with Luiz probably the best option. Darijo Srna and Steven Taylor have also been considered but are unlikely.

Ashley Cole: Juan Manuel Vargas is the only real option I see, I hope we don't loose Ashley, though Vargas is good. Dani Alves obvioulsy plays on the right and is not a real option to replace Ashley, but could be part of swap deal with Barca for Ashley, while if Real win the chase then perhaps a Kaka unhappy at Real could rejoin Carlo at Stamford Bridge.

Ki Sung–Yueng is talented (interest from SAF) and would be a boon for Chelsea merch sales in Korea and Takayumi Morimoto, is a bright young star in Serie A, and would blast our Japanese Merch sales into the stratosphere (no load to carry either as he's also interesting Fergie) they could perhaps be used like that Chinese striker at Man U a few years ago, only a bit more regularly.

Igor Akinfeev should be brought in to replace Cech in the near future (they can fight for the top job over the next 12 months or so until Cech leaves).

Man U

OUT
Berbatov, Vidic, Carrick, Tomasz Kuszczak, Tom Cleverley, Zoran Tosic, Owen, Fabio (loan)

IN
Berbatov and Owen: Swap deal with Milan for Klaas Jan Huntelaar is quite likely though a swap with Sevilla for Luis Fabiano is also possible. Aguero is an outside chance particularly if Pato signs with Chelsea. Chicarito has already signed and Takayumi Morimoto and Alexis Sanchez are still possibles.

Vidic: Vidic will form part of a swap deal for Benzema. Marnick Vermijl as well as the confirmed signings of Dodo and Chris Smalling will take over the defensive role. Giorgio Chiellini, Gary Cahill and David Luiz are unlikely signing but one that might happen.

Carrick and Tosic: Miguel Veloso and Jack Rodwell will both be bought in anticipation of Scholes or Giggs moving on at the end of season. Man U will also compete for David Silva, Milos Krasic and Angel di Maria with Chelsea and Man City, Hazard with Arsenal and will seek Joe Cole for a Bosman signing. Hamsik seems headed to Inter so SAF will concentrate on Gourcuff, Milner, Ashley Young and Ki Sung–Yueng.

Kuszczak: Manuel Neuer, Hugo Lloris and Gianluigi Buffon are the front runners though Igor Akinfeev may be snatched from under Chelsea's nose if deals cannot be secured with one of the others. There is also the possibility that De Gea may get the gong.

Arsenal

OUT
Almunia, Rosicky, Senderos, Merida, Silvestre, Eduardo, Diaby, Vela (loan)

IN
Almunia: Hugo Lloris, Manuel Neuer and Robert Green are all being considered to replace Almunia. Joe Hart is also a possibility.

Rosicky: Eden Hazard or possibly Yoann Gourcuff in will go in a part trade deal for Rosicky.

Senderos: will be replaced by Man City's Micah Richards or Fulham's Bede Hangeland and Azpilicueta is also a possibility.

Merida and Diaby: Felipe Melo and Charles NZogbia will quite possibly come in to assist Song in the defensive midfield allowing Cesc and Hazard room further forward.

Silvestre: Mamadou Sakho is being lined up to replace Silvestre.

Eduardo: Chamakh will come in Bosman, there will be no other forwards signed unless AW gets a good deal for Hugo Rodallega, Mauro Zarate or Loic Remy. Will compete with Chelsea for Lukaku and Eriksen at youth level.

Man City

OUT
Micah Richards, Benjani, RSC, Tevez, Craig Bellamy, Stephen Ireland

IN
Richards: Maicon is unlikely, expect that Jerome Boateng, Cristian Ansaldi and possibly one of Matthew Upson, Gary Cahill, Giorgio Chiellini and David Luiz to sign.

Benjani, RSC, Bellamy: Most likely forwards are Mario Balotelli, Ronaldinho and Luis Suarez. Mirko Vucinic, Edin Dzeko and Oscar Cardozo are possible, as is Sergio Aguero if Chelsea doesn't sign him. David Villa is a pretty good chance too, Zlatan Ibrahimovic signing is not quite as far fetched as it initially sounds.

Tevez: swap for Gonzalo Higuain.

Ireland: will be replaced by Fernando Gago and Marat Izmailov. City will also try to bring in Milos Krasic, Angel di Maria, Ramires, Joe Cole, Mesut Ozil, James Milner, Ashley Young, Aliksander Hleb and Yaya Toure.

Newcastle uniteds offical club policy is to not sign any player over the age of 26. so will the thickos out there who keep saying we are after bullard, yobo, keane etc please give it a rest. juan albin has already all but signed a pre contract to join nufc, hence him not getting a game for getafe anymore, his recent comments suggesting a move was not finalised was only because he and nufc where awaiting the official confirmation of nufcs promotion. houghton also very likely to up his well documented "derisory" bid for forrest utility player and former january window target james perch possibly bidding around 4m..

As it stands Liverpool are in talks with 2 serious consortium. One is from the Middle East and is heavily rumoured to be DIC, the other is a Chinese consortium. However I'm hoping no Liverpool fans are running off with the idea that Aguero, Silva and Villa are joining, this is far from the case. The new owners of Liverpool will have business done by the World Cup final and will immediately set to work on clearing the debt, then start with the new stadium. So with the club being sold at £628m, £218m–ish debts to be cleared and £293m stadium the new owners are spending roughly £1b before giving the manager any funds what so ever. Around £25m will be given to Rafa Benitez, who has until christmas to prove his worth. With £25m plus funds from sales he is looking at:
OUT
Diego Cavalieri – £6m
Martin Skrtel – £10m
Fabio Aurelio – Free
Albert Riera – £6m
Damien Plessis – £2m
Nabil El Zhar – £1m

IN
Dida – Free
Simon Kjaer – £12m
Aleksandar Kolarov – £7m
Milan Jovanovic – Free
Jonjo Shelvey – £3m
Danny Wilson – £2m
Nadir Belhadj – £4m

but don't be surprised if David Silva joins instead for around £22m.

Liverpool Rumours

Rafa, Stevie G, Torres, Mascherano will all stay.
Riera, Aurelio, Degen, Benayoun, Plessis, Cavalieri will all be sold
Pacheco, Ayala, Kelly, Dalle Valle will all feature more in the 1st team squad
Shelvey and Jovanovic to sign in the next few weeks.
With the imminant new investment expect some, not all, of Tevez, Milner, J Cole, Dida, Simao, Forlan, Ujfalusi, Kolarov, Kjaer (Dida, Kjaer, Tevez are the most likely)
With the likelyhood of no Champions League next season Rafa will be told he MUST win the Premier League

Why did a sad pathetic Man utd fan have a outburst about Everton anyway since we won 3–1

Everton will start the summer with the pernament $10m signing of Landon Donavan from LA Galaxy

Steven Pienaar is 50/50 over his new contract depends if he get 7th and if we invest offer everton won't accept less than 18m though AC milan Bayern Munich Arsenal and Chelsea are all realistic places he could end up not man utd not spurs.

Jack rodwell will sign a new 5 year deal in the coming weeks

Kim Kallstorm will sign on a free from Lyon

Jermaine Beckford will sign on a free from Leeds

With a fully fit squad Everton would have finnish around 3rd this season that's a Fact! 2 defeats in 22 leauge games everton will be a force next year with or without europe

Rangers news
==============

rangers fans should enjoy the success they have just now as it looks like very tough times ahead.
According to the Scotland on Sunday newspaper the group that own rangers murrey sports, part of MIH, have posted their accounts showing that rangers owe them £60M for a loan and approx £48M in interest, add this to the £31M they owe Lloyds, gives rangers an approx debt of £139M. This is the reason why no–one wants to buy them. David Murrey has lost roughly £400M in value in the past 18 months and cannot write off this debt. Strong rumours going about that MIH are to go into administration in the next week, another rumour going about is that if rangers win at celtic park next ( expect another "honest mistake" by the match officials) then rangers would go into administration and take the 10 points reduction this season rather than next!

expect mccoist to be manager next season, wilson to be sold to liverpool for around £3M, Mcgregor will be for the off to the EPL for around £3M, boyd off to birmingham on a free. one or two spl players will be brought in.

Liverpool Full Squad 2010/2011 {if Rafael Benitez stays in charge} GK–Reina[25]/Hennessey[1]/Smthies[30]/Gulasci[42] RB–Johnson[2]/Darby[32] CB–Cahill[4]/Agger[5]/Carragher[23]/Skrtel[37]/Kelly[34]/ Ayala[40] /Spence[43] LB–Kolarov[3]/Insua[22]/ RM–Milner[7]/Rodriguez[17]/ CDM–Mascherano[20]/Lucas[20]/Spearing[26]/Irwin[36] CAM–Gerrard[8]/Van der Vaart[10]/Shevley[16][Amoo[46] LM–N'Zogbia[14]/Fleck[12]/ CF–Kuyt[18]/Jovanovic[19]/Pacheco[15] ST–Torres[9]/Cole[11]/Ngog[26]/Dalle Valle[48]/Eccleston[36] Rafa is looking closer to home this year with only Van der Vaart, Jovanovic and Kolarov coming in from over seas. Suprisingly for the first year since Rafa has come to Anfield he is not looking to bring in any spaniards instead planning to invest about £12.5million of his £50million [plus sales] budget on young British talents such as Smithies, Spence, Shevley and Fleck who will go straight into the first team squad for next year .He is also planning on bringing in a number of talents into the acadamey for the future, one of which [Colfie] he is going to try get off bitter rivals Manchester United, he has already acquired great youngsters such as Sterling, Mavinga and Fernandez and are planning on looking to the academy in the next couple of years after the £50million splash this year to rebuild the shambolick squad. Benitez is trimming the squad for quality over quantity which will see Cavalieri/ Itandje/Degen /Krygiakos/Aurelio/ Aquilani/ Babel/Riera/Benayoun/Nemeth/San Jose/El Zhar/Plessis / Bruna/ Kacaniklic/Hansen/Martin/Threlfall/Simon/Weijl/ Bouzanis/ Mendy/ will all be leaving in an attempt to raise funds for players coming in and to trim the squad and wage bill might I add, all these players are expected to raise around £50million. These are massive changes but need to happen and I am glad Benitez is finally looking around this big Island people call Britain for youngsters rather than returning home to Spain all the time however Pacheco, Fernandez and Ayala could prove there worth but I believe it is better for the game to bring in real home grown players I know they will count if they were here 3 years before their 21st birthday but this does not really mean they were homegrown.
