Norwich are being rumoued in German papers to be interested in midfielder Sebastian Rudy {Ed003's Note - how many rud's do you want lol.}

Rudd Ruddy Rudy, and two sebastians.

and WE WANT MORE!

May as well look for another Bennett aswell while were at it, lol.

After todays appauling performance at stoke, chris h needs a miracle to stay up. can anybody tell me why c h bought beccio the chap never gets a run out.

Need a miracle to stay up? I think you need to sort your maths out since Wigan are filling the last relegation place currently and they are 6 points behind Norwich and there are 3 games left. (that's 9 points possible just to help you out there). Chances of Wigan getting all 9 points? slim. Norwich just need 1 win if not 2 draws and we will be safe. No miracle workers here

26 Apr 2013 22:56:59
Anyone got any actual realistic rumours about players that Derby will/could sign. ?

Likely signings:
Craig Forsyth & Chris Martin deals are almost done.
Dean Whitehead from Stoke.
Simeon Jackson from Norwich.

26 Apr 2013 23:54:39
Will Grigg

Not forgetting Baptiste from Blackpool. The only player that Clough as actually admitted to.

27 Apr 2013 06:15:02
must be some in the £1 shop

Alan Judge and Martyn Waghorn are the other two for a guess?

Hi mate I think the above names could be the players Clough is interested in especially Baptiste. We do need a marque signing as the lack of interest now shown is very telling. Groundhog day for every game and not as good at home since the Forest game. Team owe us one last performance against Millwall.

Sam Rush has said 5-6 players, Jake Buxton has said 6-8. I'm going to go in the middle and predict 7 signings, as follows:

- Craig Forysyth and Chris Martin (I'd be shocked if those don't happen)
- Alex Baptiste (interest confirmed and I think we've got the inside track on him)
- Martyn Waghorn (previous interest and out of contract)
- A centre mid
- Right winger - Jon Taylor/Chris Humphries
-Expect to see a GK coming in too - have a feeling Fielding or Legzdins will be leaving.

26 Apr 2013 22:48:55
Southampton interested in Athletic Bilbao midfielder Ander Herrera who would cost Saints £8-10m

Would be an amazing signing but very unlikely. Would be looking at closer to 15 million as well.

26 Apr 2013 22:49:05
Swansea City seem to be leading the race for Birmingham City winger Nathan Redmond.

Who said this

That may be in your FIFA 13 game - not in the real world. Nathan Redmond is simply not good enough for Swansea.

Swansea should get Alfreð Finnbogason! He's got a good goal scoring record ( 28 in 33) and he will be able to step up from the everisdie because Suarez, vertongen etc have

He will go to norwich to link up with chris hughton

26 Apr 2013 21:05:12
Aberdeen have spoken to the representatives of Iain Vigurs of Ross County, Murray Davidson of St Johnstone and Aaron Sinclair of Partick thistle.

26 Apr 2013 21:30:06
AFCB favourites to sign Tranmere defender Zoumana Bakayogo according to tv Radio Merseyside. His contract tuns out at the end of the summer and is apparently looking to move on due to 'money reasons'.

The already have Daniels who is much better

Daniels better than zoom ate you serious? Zoom is the best lb in the league. I expect him to sign for a championship club in the summer as he's miles too good for league one

Zoom is good but has been a bit part player up untill this season where granted he's been good but Daniels has been good and has been improving for years. Zoom is decent but Daniels crossing and passing can't be matched by any league one player.

26 Apr 2013 18:33:21
Sunderland want to sign Carlisle United's youth trio of, Mark Beck, David Symington and Brad Potts.

Please no. anywhere but Carlisle.

They can have mark beck but hands of David Cristiano Ronaldo Symington and Brad Scholsy Potts

I higghly doubt this will happen becuase they've all just signed new long term contracts at the start of this season and would easily cost 2. 5-3 million each.

26 Apr 2013 19:05:38
Leeds young right back Sam Byram has been linked with a move to Southampton who are keen for a deal

Sam has the quality but hopefully stays at Leeds!

27 Apr 2013 03:30:47
If he leaves, then it'll be to a big team so no chance.

Mr Happy

^what like a team owned by multi billionaires?

26 Apr 2013 18:45:59
Peterborough will use Emile Sinclair as bait in their bid to sign AJ Leitch-Smith from Crewe this summer, Nakhi Wells is also rumoured to be on the clubs radar

27 Apr 2013 13:41:39
I could see this happening as Posh are known for signing good, young players from the lower leagues and turning them into brilliant players. I could see Leitch-Smith becoming the new Dwight Gayle and scoring loads next season.

26 Apr 2013 18:45:18
Leicester City have been tempted to sell midfielder Ben Marshall after his dip in form this season. Peterborough United are interested but the fee could be a stumbling block

If the fee is a problem swop him for dwight gayle

26 Apr 2013 18:43:54
Peterborough United will bid to take Wilfred Zaha on loan for next season, however Manchester United would prefer the young winger to gain Premier League experience

No they won't

26 Apr 2013 18:37:36
Sunderland will sign on loan Tottenham full-back Danny Rose on a permanent basis for about £5,000,000.

26 Apr 2013 18:34:40
Sunderland are favorites to sign out of contract Wigan defender Maynor Figueroa in the summer.

26 Apr 2013 18:09:55
Kelvin Etuhu is set for a 2 year deal at Preston North End

27 Apr 2013 00:56:00
no he wont

Sure you didn't mean "2 Course Meal" at Preston North End"

Grayson has already said today in the LEP that the club won't be signing more than 2 players.

And that players will have to go before they can sign.

First thought is that Beavon will be leaving so Hume can come back!

Why beavon you person why not garner who can't play football to save his life

26 Apr 2013 17:57:03
Stevan Jovetic is said to want to join Arsenal this summer. It all comes down to if Arsenal are willing to pay the £25m asking price and break their rules of not paying £100k a week for a player again.

26 Apr 2013 17:55:21
Liverpool will try and sign Southampton's young striker Jay Rodriguez this summer. Unlikely to move though.

It's much closer to home for him BUT I doubt it!

Liverpool couldn't afford Jay.

It'll be £15 - £20 million for a player who's had half a dozen good games in the prem. You're welcome to try.

26 Apr 2013 17:53:29
Got a mate who works for the community team at Watford and hears quite a lot of stuff behind the scenes.

Matej Vydra has signed a pre-contract that will mean he will sign for Watford for free if they get promotion this season. If not, he will be back on loan to Watford next season unless Udinese receive a large bid this summer (quite likely).

From what Iv'e heard 5 players signed in January on 4 and 5 year deals, but the new owners have kept it quite they must want to announce all signings before pre season training?

27 Apr 2013 14:45:29
they haven't actually signed but have agreed conditional precontract terms, condition obviously being premier league football next season.

No they didn't we expected to finish mid table this season we wouldn't have done this?

26 Apr 2013 17:50:36
Whether Wigan stay up or not, Maynor Figueroa will be leaving this summer. Sunderland are expected to sign him on a free transfer.

I have heard Cardiff are interested as well

26 Apr 2013 17:31:15
Sheffield Wednesday monitoring, Arsenal youngest sanchez watt, he's been on loan at some League 1/2 clubs this season, but dave jones reckons he could impressed at championship level, If they stay up!

He is one of the worst players I have ever seen in a Leeds shirt when he was on loan in league one and championship

He was awful for us when he was on loan

26 Apr 2013 17:23:28
MK dons after Crystal Palace duo (and former players) Jermaine Easter and Aaron Wilbraham in the summer

Can't afford the wages. Anyway, did you not hear Robbo say we'll only be signing youngsters this summer? Half the reason we've had such a poor season is that teams around us have fresher legs. That will be addressed this summer.

Never, ever go back. Ince and McLeod have proved this.

In any case, it's going to be loans, a few frees and youth players next season. Ooh, I can't wait. NOT.

It is worrying that we are told Winkleman had to add funds in the last season to balance the wages and yet we had one of the smallest squads in the league. How much were these players on? Secondly if we made £500,000 on the cup run and we make say a couple of million of selling of best players Like Gleeson, Williams, Potter etc, who want to move on, can we not buy a quality striker, which is the missing piece for next season?

Gleeson on his own is worth at least £500,000 but Potter and Williams about 2 or 300, 00. If Williams does stay I think it would be better to put him in a Left back role- moving lewington into the center of defense

As I keep saying, we are screwed!

26 Apr 2013 17:02:37
Port Vale want to sign experienced midfielder Richie Wellens, he almost joined the promoted side on loan earlier this season but didn't move because he didn't want to play league 2 football, however now they've been promoted he's all ready to join in on Vales League One play off chasing side.

26 Apr 2013 16:51:24
Rotherham will line up a bid for Ryan Harley if they are promoted. The fee will be somewhere around 70k.

26 Apr 2013 16:44:40
Luke Hendrie released by Manchester United will be training with Bradford City this summer with a view to signing a two year contract

Hope this is true would love to see him return here left us as a youngster, no shame in not making the grade at what is the best team in the country. other than bradford city!

26 Apr 2013 16:44:08
Carl Dickinson of Watford to replace Derby County bound Daniel Lafferty at Burnley, Sean Dyche also interested in signing Nyron Nosworthy from Watford, Richie Wellans from Leicester, Kevin Davies from Bolton, Nakhi Wells from Bradford & Ryan Tunnicliffe on loan from Man Utd

26 Apr 2013 19:02:05
The question the Burnley board should be asking is does anyone want to sign Sean Dyche for free, no compensation required.

They may then get a chance to sign a manager who would want to play good football.

However I am not expecting that to happen as there is little to no ambition within the Turf Moor boardroom.

You need to give Dyche time, it's not his team yet.

Judge Dyche next season after he's brought his own players in and get's them playing the way he wants. You can't fit square pegs into round holes. Once he'd got his own players in at Watford and they'd had 7 or 8 games to settle in they did really well and played some good football. {Ed003's Note - =-O }

26 Apr 2013 15:58:22
Matthew Kilgallon is to join Brighton and Hove Albion on a free transfer at the end of the season.
It has been confirmed that the defenders contract will not be renewed by Sunderland
when it expires at the end of the season. SOURCE: E5PN news, Yorksh1re Even1ng P0st and South Coast Soccer Station. com

Will it be him or Upson, don't need both as they play in same position.

Unless we get rid of greer!

26 Apr 2013 15:51:30
Stephen Gleeson and Shaun Williams both expect to stay at MK Dons next season.

Hope so!

Be great if they do

Yeah, we might finish 7th next season. Onwards and upwards! :-|

7th? Would be a LOT worse without either Gleeson or Williams, for sure.

I assume you are familiar with sarcasm?

26 Apr 2013 15:35:07
Manchester City are prepared to let Scott Sinclair go out on a season long loan if he agrees a new 4 year deal with the club.
Sinclair has stalled on new contract talks highlighting a concern over lack of game time and requested a loan deal as part of the deal.
The news is likely to interest Brighton manager Gus Poyet who has always been a very big admirer of the ex-Chelsea youngster.

26 Apr 2013 17:16:37
I would imagine a season long loan within the Prem rather than the Championship

I think it will also raise interest from a lot of other managers in the championship, not just poyet. Or has poyet got some sort of hold over the player that other managers aint. Do me a favor a lot of managers will be interested including a few in the prem. He will go on loan to a prem team rather than to brighton. Don`t tell me brighton think they are, or will be a prem team, delusions of grandeur or what.

Brighton Facts :

Average attendance over seasons 25, 200

Largest Number of season ticket holders in the league 20, 655

A brand new 29 million pound training facility in lancing being built

A £107 million Pound stadium

And so you say delusions of grandeur.
?

I call it having a goal and trying to achieve it. "Man with no target hit's nothing". sounds to me as if you got serious case of green eyed monster or you a bitter palace fan.

And in the playoffs?

26 Apr 2013 14:53:18
Bradford transfers if they go up:
Lyle Taylor
Luke Freeman
John Kavanagh
Kelvin Etuhu

Etuhu has been amazing this season no chance

26 Apr 2013 14:25:25
Swansea looking at Sevilla striker Alvaro Negredo and Galatasaray striker Burak Yilmaz.

No way you're going to get those players, specially Burak, due to his high wages.

No no aspas deal could be okay these two names no I'm a massive swans fan but they haven't got 15 mill to spend on one player! Aspas would be a good signing anyway so get him :)

I don't agree that Aspas would be a good signing. He was a goalscorer for Celta in the Liga Adlenate (Spain's second division) but has an ok record for the Liga BBVA, so in my opinion he has the same goal scoring record that Graham had. Also recently he was sent off for head butting someone and I have heard that he has a reputation for being a nutter! Do we really want a player like that at Swansea? I'm not sure I do.

Aspas has the highest contribution rate in la liga yes 10 goals isn't huge but also 10 assists and his link up play is good, I wouldn't be disappointed with him but swans will go for more than 1 striker

Not possible. Remember Swansea manager Michael Laudrup is under a tight budget. Would be too expesive for Swansea.

I think aspas and Andreas Cornelius Denmark u21 striker top class around 5mil

26 Apr 2013 13:08:24
Leeds United, Derby County and Nottingham Forest are all in the hunt to sign striker Billy Sharp from Southampton in the summer

Suspect he will end up at Reading as Le Fondres cheaper replacement.

Derby don't have the money for sharps fee and wages. he will go to either leeds or reading fact.

He wouldn't go to derby or Leeds because his girlfriend didn't settle in Southampton plus he's from Sheffield it's nearer to both of their families

Now this is a player Derby need! Fantastic striker in this league!

He wants to go to Leeds

Love it to be true, sadly not

Ok firstly how do you know Derby can't compete with wages?

How is it fact that he will go to Leeds or Reading nobody has considered Celtic as a possible replacement for the outward bound hooper.

Also why on earth does the fact that his wife didn't settle in Southampton mean he wouldn't go to Leeds or Derby?

I agree he will probably end up at Reading as Derby will look at other targets but you can't brash around comments like he will go Leeds FACT.

Also as much as I don't like admitting it our noisy neighbours forest are very rich, their owner could have bought Real Madrid Manchester United etc. but loved Brian Clough. He might be settled there after his loan move. There will be big competition for his signature as he is expendable to pochetino, that's for sure. (FACT ;)

He will most likely be going to Forest.

27 Apr 2013 21:23:10
I thought he'd already agreed to sign for Nottingham Forest.

26 Apr 2013 12:55:01
Rotherhams summer raid on chesterfields first team squad is under threat after Armand Gnanduillet extended his contract, however they are still after:

Scott Boden
Josh Barrington
Craig Clay

Those 3 will be released Monday so Rotherhan can crack on. All 3 are not Div 1 standard anyway so silly post

27 Apr 2013 11:46:36
Massive cull of all out of contract players at ChesterfieldFC on Monday including axeing the reserves and some if the management team. Cook wants his own men in 100%

26 Apr 2013 12:50:29
Hull are after highly rated Chesterfield striker Armand Gnanduillet

He only signed a contract yesterday
B-s rumour again

27 Apr 2013 16:03:30
Hull city will sign these players if promoted
Phill Neville
Townend (spurs)
Joey Barton (qpr)
Rhodes (Blackburn)
Holt (Norwich)
Wrightphillips (qpr)
Given (villa)
Watch this space

I saw a nice mercedes outside of the KC on my way home from KC yesterday, it had SWP on the number plate. Probably not shaun wright-phillips but hey

26 Apr 2013 10:52:10
Graham Turner will sign a new 2-year deal as Shrewsbury Town manager and the rumours about Roland Wycherly leaving are complete nonsense.

Jon Taylor, Jermaine Grandison, Joe Jacobson, Connor Goldson and Tom Bradshaw will be offered contracts. However Bradshaw will be loaned out straight away to a League 2 side, thought to be Cheltenham should they not get promoted.

Yado Mambo will sign a permanent deal with them following a successful loan spell. Should Bolton get promoted to the Premier League, Tom Eaves will return on loan for the season with an instant recall. Stephen McGinn and Cameron Gayle to also sign permanent deals with the club.

Hope this is true SALOP

If this is true, I will be INCREDIBLY happy, very impressed with McGinn and Gayle, Love Joe Jacobson and superb signing from GT 2 years ago

27 Apr 2013 06:34:16
Roland Wycherly -since when did 60's pop idol Billy Fury play for Shrewsbury, or is it 'Only make believe'

Uncle Bulgaria

26 Apr 2013 11:57:37
Norwich are set to sign Tom Carroll from Spurs on a season long loan deal also Norwich have expressed interest in Connor Wickham on a permanent deal.

Surely Andros Townsend would be the better option?

Wouldn't particularly want either. we need to move away from loaning youngsters unproven at this level such as Carroll

and as for spotty, one of the most over-rated young players ever. how that blue and white mess got 9mill for him I'll never know.

Cloud cuckoo land rumour will never happen lo.

Connor wickham -
nooooooooooooooo thanks, can do much much better than him.

"Surely Andros Townsend would be the better option?"

Andros Townsend is a winger. Tom Carroll is a creative midfielder. No comparisons between them.

I have been really impressed with Tom Carroll when I have watched Spurs in the Europa League. Would be a good player for us to sign. He reminds me of Surman, but quicker.

26 Apr 2013 11:55:22
Jordan Rhodes > Sunderland
Liam Trotter > Brighton
Shaun Wright Phillips > Cardiff
Benteke > Liverpool
Paddy Madden > Millwall
Leon Osman > Tottenham
Dobbie > Crystal Palace (Permanent)

Expect these to be negotiated in the summer

Trotter is very good midfielder I think Brighton should get him

Think Sunderland will get someone better

Who does paddy madden play for never heard of him lol

Millwall better pay good money for madden if they want him

Who is Paddy Madden?

Leon Osman to Spurs is the most laughable rumour I've ever seen.

Paddy Madden Plays For Yeovil Town And Has Scored 22 Goals This Season More Then Any Of Are Player Put Together

Thank you.

Nothing at all to do with this post but if we do manage to stay in the Championship and assuming that KJ leaves/sacked? Why don't we try Uwe Rosler or Darren Ferguson? I know that Posh have been in the bottom three for most of the season but he has worked miracles with hardly any of the money that KJ has wasted! And he has always had to sell all of his best players and they still play decent football and better than us! WAS IT 1-5 at the Den! Just a thought? COYL

There's been a rumour about Trotter forever, he's good and I'd like to see him at Brighton but Brighton are very sneaky about buying people usually so I'd dismiss this.

Just a thought but if we lose to Palace on tuesday then they will have no incentive to beat Peterboro on the last match and that could be curtains for us. Its a bit of a worry to say the least. Our strikers have scored 4 league goals between them since Christmas. What are our chances realistically. All transfer talk on hold for a few days surely till we know for sure as it will have a massive effect on who we can and can't get.

Any club anywhere is more than welcome to have trotter! maybe someone can find out exactly what kind of 'cement' he puts in his boots? he poses as a statue at millwall!

To stay up all we need by the end of the season is a draw then if Sheff Wednesday draw or beat Barnsley. depending what happens at Peterbrough Barnsley go down if Barnsley beat Sheff Wed then its between Peterbrough and Wednesday who goes down that's if we get a point there are other combinations but if Millwall get a point before the season ends its Champioship football next season whatever happens

One point may not be enough as Barnsley are playing Huddersfield, and Sheff W are home to MBoro. You can see both of these lower teams winning putting them on 57 and 58 pts. A Peterboro win puts them on 57pts, equal with Huddersfield. We need a win to be safe and tonight has to be the night. We have had 5 games to get this win and now there are 2 left. it is cutting it a bit fine.

26 Apr 2013 11:02:13
stevenage are interested in signing southampton striker sam hoskins.

Maybe we had it at Preston but he didn't play a game!

26 Apr 2013 11:24:01
Gnanduillet has signed a new contract with the Spires for two years, seems people got it wrong two weeks ago that he would be released.

26 Apr 2013 09:46:21
Mansfield Town looking to sign Everton Academy Star Conor McAleny as a replacement for Matt Green when he leaves for Notts County or Nottingham Forest, both clubs have shown intrest. The Stags will also sign a backup Keeper and Nathan Pond to replace Gary Roberts. Adam Chapman will sign permantly and will sign defensive midfielder Nathan Craig from Torquay. There has been Intrest in Luton's Andre Gray however he is undecided on a move. John Thompson, Nick Wright and Jamie Tolley will be released.

26 Apr 2013 09:36:35
Several Rumours flying around that Cardiff City are looking to ex Liverpools' Dirk Kuyt, currently at fenerbahce (sp). the reported fee is just around 1m.
Personally I think he would be a good addition as his work ethic is what Malky looks for in his players and at almost 33, we won't need to tie down a long term contract, something which might be of benefit to us in order to survive the first season of the prem on as tight a budget as possible.

26 Apr 2013 16:42:25
I think Kuyt would be a great signing - if as I assume he got on ok with your other ex-liverpool individual (though he's pretty much a reformed character now, I believe) {Ed001's Note - they are friends.}

26 Apr 2013 08:46:21
Big speculation regarding Leicester City, the Thai owners have SPOKE to Pearson and told him today is his last chance. There WILL be R Di-Matt and O'neil at the game watching. Pearson knows this so expect a very fesity Leicester as they don't want him to leave!

Regarding transfers, Adomah is a target as is a replacement left back to cover for konch.

Thats all for now!

Adomah isn't a LB why would he join you to play out of position he will join middlesbrough or palace more likely boro

Read the post again about adomah! o'neill is old school now.

29 Apr 2013 07:46:18
Roberto di Matteo? Why would he come Leicester when he won the champions league with chelsea!

26 Apr 2013 08:36:11
West Brom will renew their interest in Nathan Redmond of Birmingham if they fail to sign Scott Sinclair.

Why have we so much negative feelings around the club since xmas, players unhappy, contracts not being sorted, not many decent performances and points on the pitch, academy struggling, are we at a crossroads of wba prgress, what happened some one tell me, was it ashworth leaving,

Please could you keep these wolves fans off our page

26 Apr 2013 06:44:01
Nathan Byrne and Massimo Luongo of Spurs to make their loan signings to Swindon Town permanent in the summer. Byrne will be a direct replacement for Caddis who is expected to sign for Birmingham for Between 300-500k.

26 Apr 2013 07:59:46
Byren already agreed to join crawley town

26 Apr 2013 11:44:12
Byrne to Swindon is a done deal - in today's paper

Crawley my arse!

26 Apr 2013 13:53:02
Transfer has been agreed in principle with Swindon, given size and status of clubs, its highly unlikely he will sign for Crawley if it is a straight toss up between the two.

Joining Crawley town? Maybe you should read the Swindon advertiser lol

26 Apr 2013 01:20:27
Oldham manager keen on trio.
Falkirk striker Lyle taylor, Queen of the souths Nicky clark & Gavin reilly are on the league 1 clubs radar.

Nicholas Clarke banged two more goals in on Sat. That's 38 goals this season now! Hope LJ really is looking at him and the player himself wants to play for us! 23 too!
