  ARSENAL NEWS

ok people. .lets get a few things straight.

Wenger himself has come out and said he is looking at 1 more, possibly 2 more signings. 1 more signing will DEFINITELY be a midfielder as he has already hinted at a change in formation for next season, a Barcelona style 4–3–3. For this he will need a solid holding midfielder. Now obviously there are loads of names being thrown around – Melo, Inler, Veloso. .the list goes on. I would probably only consider Melo a true option, or there are a couple of players in the French league that Grimandi has scouted. Inler is unlikely due to the comments made about joining AFC last summer.

The other signing will ONLY be if we sell Adebayor. In which case, a deal for Chamakh will be put in place.

There is no point saying we will be signing 4 or 5 more players, or throwing around big names – it is not, and never has been Wenger's style and he has already said there won't be an overhaul in personnel.

The information is all around us, just start reading it rather than posting stupid 'championship manager' fantasies that won't come true.

In Arsene We Trust
Burnley have completed signing of Tyrone Mears for £1million and are expected to complete signing of Andrew Driver by the weekend for £2.5million

New Celtic Manager Tony Mowbury wants to utilise his
European Intertoto cup experience to help keep Celtic in Europe after the tricky two rounds in August ,in doing so he hopes to bring in former players who were under him at Hibs ,Gary O Conner from Birmngham is high on his list as is Ivan Spouille ,there could also be a return to Celtic for
wayward player Derek Rhiorden .

He will look to move on Samras ,Robson and JVH .

Rangers are to make a unexpected bid for Soni Aluko at Aberdeen and a return for Stephen Hughes.

Both sides have decided at this time that they are for the most part priced out of the European Market and will look to players with SPL knowledge.
Ive have heard from a very good sources that giggs and scholes and gary neville will be joing forces with old team mates to start on their coching careers and play when needed.

Also heard the didi hammam might be signing for the tractor boys.
  Manchester United Transfer News

1. In replace for Tevez, i think are #1 taget will be Benzema (no more than 35mil), but he has stated that he wants to remain at Lyon for one more season just in case he fails to impress at England costing him his France World Cup position.

2. We are definetly not getting David Villa even though Real Madrid said they are not trying to sign him anymore. So i think our next Target will be 'Kun' Aguero (45mil)if we don't get Benzema. His wage demands might put SAF off but he will try to persuade him to lower it down.

3. We are also looking at Samuel Eto'o (20mil). however, he wage demands are also too high so we might give him a pass and let him join Man City along with Tevez.

4. Now moving on to Ronaldo's replacement. Lets get one thing straight here, we are not buying Ribery for not only is he over–priced, but he also said he would rather join Real Madrid than Man Utd, Chelsea or Barca so he definetly will not be coming to Man Utd even if we pay more than Real.

5. Valencia is more or less a done deal (16–20mil) expect him to sign within the next 2weeks.

6. David Silva is also a target (24mil) and might sign.

7. Ashley Young (25–30mil)is a player many people have been talking about but i really don't feel we will be getting him unless we make a too good of an offer to refuse to Aston Villa.

8. Douglas Costa and Nilmar are also on United's agenda but both clubs are asking for 20mil for the talented youngsters which might put SAF off, but we might get him for much less like 10–13mil if we're lucky.

9. Finally, for Van Der Sar's replacement as he is retiring nxt season, we will definetly NOT be getting Valdes as he has just signed a new contract.

10. We will also NOT be getting Cassilas as he has just commited his future to Real and doesn't want to join United.

Man United Possible Ins:

Karim Benzema 30–35mil
Antonio Valencia 16–20mil
David Silva 24mil
Sergio Aguero 45–50mil
Douglas Costa 10–13mil
Ashley Young 25–30mil
Nilmar 10–20mil
Dodo 5mil (almost done deal)

Man United Outs:

Ronaldo – Real Madrid 80mil
Tevez – Man City 25mil
Nani – Sporting Lisbon Swap Deal for Moutinho
Fraizer Campbell – Hull 6mil
Danny Simpson – Birmingham 1mil
Darron Gibson – Wolves 5mil
Kuszczak – Loan
Park – Al–Jazira (UAE)5–10mil
Manucho – Hull 5–7mil
Some of the stuff about Liverpool on here is very amusing and some I can only hope comes true.

What was glaringly obvious last season are 3 key points
1. We didn't finish teams off at Anfield
2. We lacked someone else (World class) to come in whilst Gerrard/Torres were injured.
3. We are very close to establishing a serious threat to Man U

1. has been improved by adding Johnson to give another option going forwards
2. will be sorted as priority this summer – I expect at least one of Silva, Aguero & Villa (Have a sneaky feeling Villa may be the suprise)
3. I can't see a massive overhaul of playing staff unless Rafas hand is forced so I expect Masch and Alonso to stay (never say never though – I could see Gerrard drop to MF and Villa brought in up front. . ???)
To the bloke who thought that Wilson Palacios might end up at Villa next season – sorry mate. It isn't going to happen. Class player of course, but. .

When his brother was murdered a few months back he found out in the middle of the night. He waited until 7 am in the hotel lobby to talk to Harry Redknapp with his bags packed. This was out of respect for the manager. He didn't think he should disturb HR in the middle of the night for any reason.

A bloke with that much respect for his manager and that much class isn't going to up sticks one season into a 5.5 year contract for any reason short of the team selling him on for a massive profit like Wigan did. Now on to part two. We bought for 12 mill, so we won't sell on a bloke like him for a 3 mill ( – wages) profit. Its not good business sense. One thing us yiddos like to do is turn a profit when we can.

On that note, do you want Bentley for half what we paid?? :D
Thanks to my mate for the reply about LFC /ITV in 2000….No! I don’t mean that
As I said it is on the digital look site (digitallook.com) a shares information site.
Go onto the site, A–Z of companies, the L’s and it says LIVERPOOL FC flotation announced. It’s on there now! I’ve just checked
I am concerned but I can not find any other news or rumours unless am missing something.

I've just been texted by a mate whose cousin is Ryan Dickson (plays for Brentford FC) anyway someone from Celtic has been asking whether he'd be willing to move to Glasgow.

That's it.
I'm from Newcastle and my dad is part of the training staff at NUFC reserves and the news he told me was that Newcastle are lining up a bid for the following :–
Marlon Harewood
Dean Ashton
Damien Plessis
Andy Griffin
Matthew Mills
Tom Huddlestone
Leroy Lita

In the range of £20 million
To be announced after the Confederations Cup. . Macherano to leave for Barcelona around 35M (plus a fringe player poss)a deal has been struck between Liverpool and Barca so that the latter will not pursue David Villa if they are allowed Macherano. As Real have lost interest in Villa and Torres' recent public 'smoke screen' about Villa 'will be playing in Spain next year' it has left Rafa clear to negotiate with Barca and Valencia with the money made from the sale.

Just heard news from my dad. His mate lives in a apartment by Mascheranos and said that his wife can't stand England.Hates the weather and most importantly can't speak the language and hasnt got any friends and is fed up with life in England. Apparently his wife has flown back to South America to have the baby and is threatening divorce if Mascherano doesn't move out of England. No mention of a club however Spain is a spanish speaking country. My bet is on Barca.Expect little cash with Bojan and Yaya Toure.By little cash im talking not exactly little. .more 15–20million.If Yaya toure is no part expect 20–30million with either Sissoko,Toulan,Defour or Martinez arriving.
Westham is to be sold in 72hrs. Arab buyers wanted to by the irons last month but only offered 72million. The move to set up CB Holdings to offer the irons long term stability and let the clubs bank backers to wait on till financial times are better have forced the Arabs hands and they have now offered 103million which has been accepted. This is off a good friend who works for the legal team at the club. You heard it here first oh and i support the much big club Spurs but thought i would post this as i don't normaly get info

Some Arsenal Facts
there will not be wholesale changes as some on here suggest.I work in the city and my gaffer is v. pally with Mr Hill Wood, here are the real happenings in the transfer market.

all will be done by July 25th

COME ON YOU REDS AND FOYS 61NEVER AGAIN
Rangers are quiet just now for a reason.

No transfers in or out

No new kit launch.

They are waitin on a MAJOR investment from a consortium headed by greame souness. This may or may not happen but its in the pipline.

(TRANSFERS) waiting to see if investment happens as the transfers kitty will deamaticaly increase as the club will have no debt.

(KIT) the new investors want to change the kit maker and sponser.

The deal will allow david murry to remain as chaiman as he will still be majority shareholder and the new investors will hold a major amount of shares and will be major investors in the playing staff.
   SOME FOOD FOR THOUGHT
1. Firstly, who the guyz who believe that LFC would not be sold coz Gillett sold all his stake in Montreal Canadiens makes sense. But that actually is not a guarantee. Any potential buyer would not love to see the club in debt already. And for your information Hicks also sold Mesquite Rodeo but it wasn't much publicized as it was a small amt deal(arnd $10M)
2. Now, believing that LFC sell–out had already been negotiated does make some sense. Thats where Rafa's got what he wanted. . TOTAL CONTROL. As a result, mass exodus in the backroom staff. And some big money deals going through in future.
3. With the sell–out not officially announced, the new owners CANNOT provide funds for the transfers. And here is Rafas masterpiece. With all his good relations with Mestella, there has been a gentlemen's agreement for Villa transfer in January. This would give Valencia, half the season to get some points on the table. As far as Silva deal is concerned its all done. Rafa will try to cash–in with sale of the fringe players. Silva would come in with BABEL + CASH(net deal worth arnd 18M). Add–ons would raise the deal to 25M(this would be no big deal for the new onwers).
4. Alonso & Mascherano will NOT be leaving.
5. Dossena & Arbeloa to leave for sure. This would bring abt 12–15M. this will directly go for a right winger.
6. Young lads frm reserver(Darby, Kelly & Spearing) to be promoted .
So finally,
Silva, RW in for abt 30M
Babel, Dossena, Arbeloa, Fringe Players to leave for abt 25–30M.
Peter lovenkrands is definatly coming back to rangers i was workin near a house he had built in thorntonhall glasgow and seen him moving in he has never lived in this house it has always been rented out lets just hope his neighbour aiden mcgeady now hires the same removall company and gets to f
My brother has just flew out to america and apparently michael owen was on his flight and apparently their was a car waiting at the other end to take him to los angelies . . possible holliday or possibly joining becks , who knows?
David Jones will quit Cardiff City, and a shock name in the frame to replace him is current Northern Ireland boss Nigel Worthington.
FAO – SAB re: Livingston Rumours

I don't know if you are involved with the club, or just a fan, but the truth is that a lot of players are pig–sick with what is happening at Almondvale with regards to wages etc.

They might not be openly courting moves away from the club, but I know of at least six players who want out including LG.

The clubs finances took yet another knock yesterday, after RDF said it would not sponsor them this season.

Massone knows he has caused the mother of all cock–ups and he should do the decent thing and resign if he doesn't want Livingston to go the same way as Clyde last season – or out of business altogether which I hear is looking very much 'on the cards'.
My first post, however, I guarantee 100% that this will happen. Ashley Young will be playing for Man Utd next season. Fact. What I am not sure of is whether it will be a pure money deal (approx £20–£25M) or a deal involving Nani going the other way. Will be confirmed within the next 2 weeks.
Aston Villa were hoping to lure Villa Park legend Olof Mellberg back but he has now joined Olympiacos.

Jozy Altidore is attracting interest from Premier League teams specifically; Aston Villa, Man City, Everton, Fulham and West Ham.

In fact, there are a couple USA players wanted by Premier League clubs; Oguchi Onyewu is wanted by Sunderland and Hull. Landon Donovan is wanted by Everton, West Ham and Liverpool and Michael Bradley is wanted by Aston Villa, Stoke and Bolton.

The reason Tevez did not sign for Man Utd, and that Man City are yet announce his signing, is that he is after a move to his beloved West Ham, though this is not likely to happen. West Ham are however close to agreeing a loan move for former midfield star Joe Cole, with Chelsea in negotiations for Frank Ribery, Andrea Pirlo and Xavi.

Arsenal are likely to follow up their interest in Xabi Alonso with a bid of £16m. Which means Mascherano is likely to stay, though FC Barcelona will test their resolve with a £25m offer.

Tottenham are looking to Spain, expect bids Arjen Robben £8m, Klaas–Jan Huntelaar £10m, Yaya Toure £12m, Javier Saviola £8m, Mati Fernandez £12m. There's also a possibility of an £8m offer for Obafemi Martins. Pavlyuchenko is a £10m target for German clubs Werder Bremen and Schalke. Darren Bent is being offered around to Premier League clubs; Sunderland, Portsmouth, Fulham and West Ham for a cut price £8m. There will be a mass clear out at SPurs this Summer, with Bentley and Jenas both off to Aston Villa, Huddlestone to Fulham, Birmingham or West Ham. Also being shown the exit door are; Gilberto, Giovani Dos Santos, Chimbonda and O'Hara.

Man Utd looking at Luis Valencia of Wigan, Ashley Young, Aaron Lennon, Wesley Sneijder and Douglas Costa as possible replacements for Ronaldo. United are also hoping to cash in on Berbatov, with AC Milan and Juventus sniffing round.

This Summer will set a record for the number of big transfer deals.
Following meetings between the clubs Marwood/Cook have formed strong links with Laporta and Man City have an agreement that Barca will sell Eto'o and Ya Ya Toure for a combined fee of £50m. Barca do not wannt to sell to any of their Champions League rivals and the clubs have set up an allegiance to rival united/real as their people's club.
Major gossip– saw jermaine jenas on holiday, he was i presume talking to his agent on phone. Villa have put in an offer of 7.5 million for him.
HAHA !!! I think every1 has to come off the PS3/XBox and look at this. MAN UTD sold RONALDO so they will bring a replacemnt. Agreed ? SAF has been very quiet this summer so I wonder what he has up his sleeve. AGUERO? VALENCIA? RIBERY? they are the likley targets. No VAN DER VAART or ETT'O. Players like that think they are bigger than the club. SAF don't go for players like that.

As for CHELSEA, they want to be the best again. BIG transfer bids for BIG players but i think they will fall short and sign one maybe 2 top players being, IBRAHIMOVIC and possibly ZIRKOV.

LIVERPOOL will spend very little as they have to sell before they can buy. Now JOHNSON has been signed, expect a bid to fill the void of MASCHARNO which will be SENNA. ALONSO will stay.

And ARSENAL will complete the signings of CANA and DEZEKO. FABREGAS will stay for one more season only, before going to BARCELONA.
I posted this last week but it never got picked:

Van Persie deal is already agreed with Man Utd for £12m. It will be announced when Ronaldo transfer goes through. Gill met with him last Friday. I know coz a mate of mine saw them at Manchester airport coming off a private jet

United will also sign:

Valencia £16m
Robben £15m
Aguero £30m
Dodo £8m

Out go Campbell, Ronaldo, Manucho, Gibson & Nani for a little over £100m leaving them over £20m in profit to service the debt a little
2225 BST:Carlos Tevez's advisor Kia Joorabchian tells Argentine radio station Radio Del Plata that his client is "evaluating proposals" from Manchester City, Chelsea and "one other team" – with a decision to be made in the next 10 days.

The other team being? West Ham United!
  BREAKING NEWS!

Rio Ferdinand has failed another drugs test! You heard it here first. The FA warned him when he 'missed' the test that any indication of drug missuse in the future would result in a minimum 2 year suspension. News will break by the weekend and this is why Sir Alex has been so quie tin the transfer market, expect a 30M bid for Sergio Ramos, although Sir Alex has his eye on Agger too.

InsiderManc
A player at Manchester United has failed a drug test, big news that's going around the local pubs. .
Liverpools out of contract winger Gary Mackay Steven will be heading to fulham for pre season trial! They want to have a look at him as he generally struggles with injures but he is certainly one for the future watch this space on him!!!!
After almost two years of being out of football, former Gretna manager Rowan Alexander is set for a coaching position at Hereford United.
Came back from my hols on Tues and was away with someone who claimed to be involved in the back room at Liverpool (what the truth is I don't know). I asked him a few questions but he would not say anything. .but after speaking for a week and getting hammered together one night he got a bit loose lipped. He said that when Conf. cup is over Villa will go on hols then be unveiled at Liverpool. The Alonso deal is in his hands where he wants to play but with Villa coming in he wants to stay. Mash is pressing for a move but the deal can't be struck just yet as Rafa wants cash + Yaya for deal to go ahead. Mata is the main winger Rafa wants but may not get him. He reckons that the friendly with Atletico is part of deal for Aguero to come in next season with Babel possibly going the other way, he sees Aguero as Gerard future replacement. I asked about a takeover and he laughed and said I don't know but LFC will go into floatation soon! I was pushing for more but he was laughing again saying you will see but put as much cash as you can get hold of on Liverpool winning the title next year! I hope this guy was telling the truth can't see it but fingers crossed.
Three back–to–back Premiership Championships and two European Champions League finals in two years. My point?: World Class talent still want to play for Manchester United, not to mention the longest serving and most successfull manager in this part of the world. Surprising isn't it?

My rumours are based on fact not instinct or journalist nonsense, so here goes:

Antonio Valencia = £17m – Right/Left wing

David Silva = £25m – Left/Right Wing

Sergio Kun Aguero = £50m (due to buy–out clause) – Striker

Retaining the Premiership is top priority. Manchester United also to extend to a 90,000 capacity by 2012.

(Y)ou'll (N)ever (W)in (A)nything.
My best mate trains at Melwood and Liverpool staff were taking a player through a physical. My mate asked one of the physios who he was and they said his name was Nicolas Lodeiro from Uraguay and plays left midfield.
Someone posted that Lescott and Baines would be signing for Villa!!!
Get a grip lad, you really think that the Moyesiah would let BOTH his left sided full back leave? Especially when they form half of the best back 4 in the country.
If Johnson is worth 17.5 million then Lescott will only be sold for 30 million, which if you think about it is what Ferdinand cost United and Lescott's been better than him for the last 2 seasons.
Everton to sign Moutinho and Bent.
–––––––––––––––SUPA1878––––––––––––––––––––––––––
  Celtic/Hearts

Tony Mowbray is on the verge of signing Michael Stewart. Stewart played under Mowbray at Hibs where he played some of the best football of his career. Stewart is desperate to join Celtic and rekindle his special relationship with Mowbray. Stewart will demand to be allowed his dream move and will submit a written transfer request to Romanov. Stewart has always viewed Hearts as a stepping stone. He came close to joining Celtic in 2007 but the move stalled due to Celtic having to many players in midfield at that time. Strachan told Stewart he would sign him providing he could free players as Celtic. Stewart was not prepared to gamble and play the waiting game and subsequently signed for Hearts. Hearts will demand a fee but they risk losing Stewart for nothing as he enters the final year of his current three year deal.
After buying Glen johnson Liverpool will probably buy
1. Silva
2. Some cheap striker probably Saviola
3. Some cheap defender probably richards

players who will be going out are
Ryan babel to galatasaray
Arbeloa to real
Dossena to juve
Voronin and finally leto

Schweinsteiger Bayern–Man u or Arsenal (20 million)

A friend of mine is a nephew of Jaap Stam. Stam is now a Utd scout in Brazil and he told me that Utd already secure Douglas Costa to replace Ronaldo. SAF drop by to Brazil last week (which he's on holiday) and help secure the deal.
A.Valencia (done deal)

He said if Benzema deal fails, second choice will be Aguero & G.Rossi

The striker who is on loan at Hull (forgot his name) will be given a chance. Jaap Stam said the he is the next "Drogba"

The 2 Serbians will shine next season Jaap Stam said too.

Wait & see.
To the guy who wrote this:
Me and my Fiance saw Dimitar Berbatov, greased back hair and all, walking down Goldhawk Road in Shepherds Bush on Monday night at about 1745.

It couldnt of been Berbatov because he was in Yates in Manchester on Monday night, ive even got a photo of me with him and can post it on here if you don't believe me
East Stirling have offered deals to Jamie Stevenson & Paul Weaver. Looking to get Brian Graham on loan next season.

Ease Up
A source at the City Ground lets me know that Forest are going for probably the most ambitious signing in the Championship so far this year, by trying to get Siem de Jong from Ajax. The ewciting winger has made 30 or so first team appearances over the last couple years and after cemeting his place in the U21 setup now needs regular first team football to progress. BD sees his as his best option after losing Paul Aderson to Wigan
I hope this gets printed. PLEASE will people stop sending messages like: "My sister's, friend's, boyfriend's, mother's, hairdresser said."

The whole point of this site is twofold. First, it is for genuine rumours. Second, and as important, it is for HUMOUR. The above message that I quoted is neither a genuine rumour, or FUNNY. It's a terrible, stupid attempt at being funny. It's a bit like when people used to call other people "Wally". Only unfunny people used the term, just like only unfunny, thick types use the above. So quit it!

A genuine rumour (not a funny one) is Joleon Lescott has made clear to his manager, that he wants to move to a big payday at Manchester City. Moyes will not stand in his way. He will, however, make sure City pay through the nose for Lescott. I expect the bidding to go past the £20m mark. To be honest, £20m for Lescott is a good deal for Everton, and I expect that Moyes will be quietly glad that Lescott choses to take City's cash.
Bristol city are seriously want anderson de silva from barnsley first they offererd 1.2 mil then 1.5 mil then michael mcindoe and 300k then 500 k plus michael mcindoe but now the have added dele adebola plus 200k im a barnsley fan and i think we should defo accept i would have accepted just mcindoe

This is being done all very hush but I have a contact at Villa who informs me that it is happening – fee will be 18million plus the two above. Villa will also sign Michael Owen on a pay as you play deal in July.

Richard Offiong is coming back to the Quakers. He'll sign a two year deal from Hamilton Accies who are skint after Setanta going bust. Proceeds from the friendly will go to Hamilton and there will be a return at New Douglas Park next year again with all proceeds going to the Accies. In return Offiong will sign for a nominal fee because we are skint too.

Come on you Quakers

  Sighting. .

Me and my Fiance saw Dimitar Berbatov, greased back hair and all, walking down Goldhawk Road in Shepherds Bush on Monday night at about 1745.

What's he doing in West London? Any ideas?

Rob Green rumour = joker, whay would it bother him that WHU are signing foreign players, utterly ridiculous!!!
I appreciate that he wants to play for a big 4 or even top 6 club but look at his options:
Man Utd – Van Der Sar / Ben Foster
Liverpool – Reina
Chelsea – Cech
Arsenal – Mistakalmunia. .
Villa – Friedal
Everton – Sweary bloke
Therefore potentially Arsenal are his only option, I don't see it.
Sorry, just my own personal views
Shearer will be the new NUFC manager and on top of a transfer budget will get all teh sales of outgoing players: Martins £10m (arsenal), Nolan (hull) £3m, Enrique £3m (Real Madrid!!!), Duff/Barton £5m the pair (blackburn)Colocini £4m (some spanish side), Guttierez £4m (another spanish side), Geremi £2m (Besiktas), = £31m, plus the savings on wages from the departure of sick note Owen/Cacapa/Lovenkrands. He will however try to get Viduka to sign on for another year as he thinks he would be pivotal in his planned 4–3–3 sysytem and in helping the new young recruits of BECKFORD and CAMPBELL make their mark. Bassong/Taylor/Beye will all stay to form the basis of the backline with Nicky Butt staying to add experience to midfield where he will play alongside Guthrie and to add more creativity and goals form midfield, Michael Johnson form Citeh who may just come on loan but will deffinately come. A move for teh experienced Paul Robinson at West Brom is also expected to finally solve a problem poistion since Beresford was dumped by the Dutch muppet.
I have a friend of a friend of a friend whos budgie has been told by a dog at the vets who owner is also named Hughes that Mark will be the first to sign. . . . . .on.
But seriously. . . . .

Lpool to sign Aguero or Villa & Silva
Man U will sign Valencia & Haageland
Arsenal will do the usual and sign 1 player
Chelsea will try to sign any one else has an interest in.

Owen will be going abroad, as the clubs in England do not interest him enough.
