Ghuly will join Liverpool as one of the first major signings after the takeover is completed also Rafeal Benitez has targeted Raul Blackburns Pederson Roberto Ayala and Alves as just some of his main targets meanwhile he is going to make a bid in the region of £12mil for his only Jan window signing in Upson by the Weeks end. The money will be made availible from DICs finalisation of the takeover and Gillet will fail in his bid because he can't substantiate his funds backing. Remeber you heard it hear.

Brentford desperately need another goal scoring forward to team up with new signing Neil Shipperley to get them out of the relegation mire. A loan swoop for Peterborough's Trevor Benjamin is said to be on the cards but if this fails they are also known to be admirers of Norwich City's Paul McVeigh and Leyton Orient's Jabo Ibehre.

Everton will complete the signing of Fernandes on loan and David healey for either 500k or loan also with Mcfadden n aj out Moyes is looking for another good forward, possibilities are Mido, Keane (doubtful) Alan Smith (loan) or henri kamara also Everton are hoping to land Nigel Reo Coker possibly or I heard that some one mensioned requelme which would be a great signing for Everton

Mike Newell to tie up deals for Southampton's Leon Best&Tranmere's Chris Shuker before Friday. Both cannot start against Blackburn in the FA Cup televised game due to either being cup-tied or the 7 day registration rule for the cup. Both in the squad for next Tuesdays visit to Coventry.

LFC:

Since Rafa has been given a generous transfer budget for the summer, he will start his own youth system which will start bringing in a lot of young British talent (specifically scouse) and will build a brilliant youth team. This will bring a large British contingent back into the first, reserve and youth team. Liverpool will again become the centre of youth football.

But for now, Rafa will build the first team with a few buys over the next 1-2 years.

Reading have agreed a £2m deal with West Ham for striker Bobby Zamora.

Reading are also hopeful of completing the signing of right back Greg Halford after agreeing a similar fee with Colchester United, Sam Sodje will go in the opposite direction.

Karl Hawley to sign for Leicester City for a fee of 500k. Matt Holland also looks certain to complete a move to the Walkers Stadium once Mr. Mandaric takes over, believed to be Thursday or Friday, or at this rate, sometime next March.

The rumour flying around the terraces on mondays game v Coventry was that Tony Capaldi was in Sunderland talking to Roy Keane, the guy behind me said that he heard someone from the box say it which we sit by!

500K has been mentioned, I'm happy with that, he's inconsistant.

My mate works in Coventry City's Ticket office&he said Geoffrey Robinson has asked Freddy Sheppard about Nigel Pearson's availability!

The name on Eggert Magnusson's shopping list that helped convince Lucas Neill to sign for West Ham is Tim Cahill. Mr Magnusson and Curbishley will offer 5 million + Matty Etherington for the player.

West Brom will this week sign Tottenham's Mido on loan for the rest of the season. Man City are interested in signing him permanently, but he would prefer a loan move as he would like the chance to prove himself to Spurs and doesn't mind dropping down a division to do that

Burnley will take Sheffield United's Keith Gillespie on loan until the rest of the season while Chris Lucketti will join promotion chasing Derby County

Never normally submit rumours to this page, as I'm not related to anyone in the game, and apart from web site stuff I never hear any rumours, however I met Neil Lennon in a pub on Monday night, its was quite quiet and he chatted away to me and a mate for about 5 minutes. We asked him about his contract, and he gave the usual polite 'I'm waiting till the end of the season' answer, stating that he would love to stay but will wait to see how we sign and what the offer is. I asked him about sigbings and he said that the players noramlly find out about sigings the same time as fans do. He said that James McCarthy from Hamilton trained with the team last week and that he look really good for someone so young he also said Doumbe was fast and aggressive.

We pushed him on Maloney and he said that Shaun is keeping his business very close to his chest, but that everyone wants him to stay. He also said that a few clubs are interested in McGeady. namely Tottenham, Middlesbrough and Manchester United.

Just because a bid is accepted i.e. Spurs bid for Bale, doesn't mean he will end up going there. Bale will sign for Man United for 10 million, he will stay at S'hampton until the end of the season. Wes Brown will join Liverpool for 5 million at the end of the season and Heinze will stay at United, Fergie will use him as a centre back. Silvestre will join Lyon for 2. 5 million. Fergie to make no signings until the end of the season when he will give Torres the no. 10 shirt. Larsson to finish loan in March as expected. Finally will sign a centre in the summer, it will be either Hargreaves, De Rossi or Fergie will raid the French league.

drew tabolt to sign till the end of the season.

Lets get it straight there will be no James bettie signing for Celtic expect S Brown and K Tompson to sign before the transfer deadline in a deal around 4 to 5 million for both players.

Henry to move to Liverpool for 30 million in the summer and Arsenal to sign Ribery for 18 mil and tim cahill for 8 million in the summer

With the release from Simon Davies, Everton will be on the look out for a strong midfielder, thomas graveson is been heavly linked with a return to Goodison with a link with Beattie the exchange.

David Nugent and Juan Roman Riquelme will sign.

Howard will sign.

Tim Cahill has been heavly linked with a move to West Ham, he won't move.

Mikel Arteta has conections with Spainish Players which Mikel will try to bring in his old team mate from real socidad which is Nihat.

Walter Smith is ready to follow Gordon Strachan's lead by bring back an ex-Celtic star to Glasgow to play for the light blues.

Strachan has not hesitated to bring 3 ex-Gers to Celtic Park - boosting his squad for nominal fees. Millar, Pressly and Mark Brown will be shortly joined in Glasgow by an a proven goalscorer.

Accoring to very reliable sources close to a member of the training staff at Murray Park, Walter Smith is making preparations to sign Aussie striker Mark Viduka to Ibrox on a free in the summer. It is the first time an ex-Celt has joined Rangers since Mo Johnston joined Sounesses revolution.

How Viduka will be accepted by the Ibrox faithful is certainly open to question - but his poor displays in his final days under John Barnes tenure at Celtic will hopefully go along way to his acceptance in the south side of the city.

Smith is confident the Viduka will fill the void that will accompany Dado Prso's departure and belives Viduka's cocktail of physical presence and deft touch will help close the embarrasing gulf that currently exists between the Glasgow clubs.

Akpo Sodje is set to leave Port Vale during the January Window. Norwich and Leicester are monitoring the situation, though the Canaries are also keen on fellow striker Leon Constantine and are prepared to offer #1.5 million for both players together.

A posse of managers spotted at the Northampton v Millwall game on Tuesday night, including Fulham's Chris Coleman, Peterborough's Darren Ferguson, Ipswich's Jim Magilton, Norwich's Peter Grant and Leicester manager David Kelly.

A hospitality steward friend of mine tells me at least one of them was looking at defender Luke Chambers, striker Andy Kirk and highly rated goalkeeper Bunn.

Reading will sign majid bougherra next week for 3 million from the owls, Fulham are also wanting to sign our right back frankie simek.

The owls will turn down an offer from Dundee Utd for graham coughlan as we now need him for cover for bougherra.

Steve adams and barry corr will join Swindon next week to link back up with Paul sturrock.

Thomson and Brown will leave Hibs to join old Boss Tony Mowbray at West Brom on Monday for a combined fee of just £2m. This is because John Collins wants rid of them ASAP as a way of proving the point to the rest of the squad that HE is the boss. There is dressing unrest at Easter Road because of the managers attitude. Expect him to be replaced at the end of the Season with the Hibs board making a move for Jim Jeffries.
