News in Ghana is big maaaan! Ayew brother be going Fulham

26 Apr 2013 16:43:54
Interesting deal - buy one, get one free?

Is that for Andre and Jordan together?

This is for both of the brother, pardon for bad grammar in 1st article posting.

Swansea are set to land Sevilla stars Alvaro Negredo and Alberto Botia this summer according to the South Wales Evening Post.

Negredo is going to Everton.

You don't know that

The rumour of him going to Swansea is also backed by the Daily Express

It doesn't say he WILL be joining, it says swans are interested in signing him. I can't see it. There's so much interest from teams like Dortmund, Napoli etc. plus he'd probably demand a pretty hefty salary

The more I read "journalists" predictions, the more I realize they just put a load of tosh in their articles just to get it read.

Would be a TRUE statement of Swans progression if Negredo did decide to come here but I'm pessimistic to say the least!

Botia seems plausible but would that encourage Negredo to come here too? Probably not!

Everton and Spurs can pay bigger wages so see them as more plausible clubs, but who's NOT going to be after his signature? But just imagine the combination of him and Michu together (and that's probably as far as it's going to get!).

Swansea said they are not after him

Dont buy the papers then

They have no chance as they want too much money for them!

Laudrup already said swansea can't pay double figures for a player. He's not coming.

Why pay big cash when we are doing just fine

Regards to the above post yes its wise not to spend HUGE amounts, but do you honestly see us next season lumbered with luke warm and that useless israeli player I can't say his name because he's a waste of time.

glenn whelan to make a return to sheffield wednesday in the summer if they stay up

25 Apr 2013 21:49:31
West Brom enter race with Chelsea, Liverpool and West Ham for Wilfried Bony.

What a load of rubbish. Albion don't pay the kind of money that would be required to get Bony. They've never spent more than 6mil on a player and I would imagine Bony would cost double that.

Well we bought Long for 9mil so that's a lie

Nine million? It was between 4. 5 - 6.5 mil. Final fee undisclosed

Long was £6.5 mil

It was 7million for long not 9

Albion have never revealed what they paid for Long, when questioned on the £6.5 million fee one of the staff (think it was Dan Ashworth) stated that it wasn't anything like that much! Maybe with all the add-ons the fee might reach £6.5 million.

As for Bony, Albion have been scouting him recently and in summer he'll only have 2 years on his contract so might come within price range. Doubt it'll happen though

Long was bought for 4.3 million. With add ons this could reach around the £6m mark. £9m? sounds like someone who knows very little about the game.

You can't forget that each team will receive 65 million and with little outstanding debts WBA have all that money to spend however they want.

Liverpool, in search of a long term replacement for Carragher, are eyeing up one of Varane, Ogbonna and Sakho. This could signal an exit for Martin Skrtel, who is on liverpools peripheral after a relatively anonymous season. The centre back still commands attention however, with Juventus, Man City and Chelsea all reprtedly interested. Liverpool may also weigh up a move for highly rated Christian Eriksen if they manage to offload Stewart Downing, and if Suarez or Carroll leaves, Liverpool may use the money to gain the talents of Gonzalo Higuian, a striker who finds himself warming up the subs bench at Real Madrid. However, money permitting, and unlikely as it seems, watch out for a bid for El Shaarawy, who fits Rodgers' status quo of young, adaptable and gifted

25 Apr 2013 20:55:07
Stephen McGinn is set to leave vicarage road this summer with a host of league one sides chasing his signature including Shrewsbury, Walsall and Leyton Orient

Also watford striker Chris Iwelumo (currently on loan at Oldham) is being linked with a move back to former club Wolves

Would love McGinn to sign but think he's too good for us, likewise Dave Edwards won't be rejoining us as stated in a previous comment

Shame if this is true as I would have loved to see Stephen McGinn back in a Watford shirt as I think the way the team play would have suited his style. Unfortunately after the type of injury suffered he is lucky that he can still play and I'm certain that he will be an asset to any team he goes on to play for

McGinn is quality. Would love him back at shrews.

Iwellumo can't get in the Oldham team, absolute bull that Wolves would be after him

McGinn is quality which is why Zola should give him a chance. Would hate to see him leave watford when he can do a good job with the system we play

25 Apr 2013 20:47:47
Yeovil have agreed a deal to sign Wes Foderingham if they win promotion.

If we get promoted marek will not leave so will we need another keeper?

Nah if we go up we keep marek stech

26 Apr 2013 13:54:33
Big If

25 Apr 2013 20:46:32
Oxford have agreed a deal to sign Billy Kee at the end of the season, using money from Craddock and Smalley being released.

No, I doubt it very much. Craddock definately on his way and it has not worked at OUFC for Smalley. But Kee to Oxford - no afraid not.

Going to mansfield

Billy Kee moved to Burton to be closer to home, so he won't be going to Oxford

25 Apr 2013 20:23:07
If Watford are promoted this season they're looking at multiple transfer options. The likes of Abdi, Pudil, Anya etc. are set to join permanently whilst Zola wants experienced Premier League players. Chalobah will return on loan. Onuoha may join from QPR if they go down and Shaun Wright-Phillips is a possibility. Watford could possibly make a move for Carlton Cole who worked under Zola but he may not prove good enough for a team of Premier League standard

Carlton Cole £30k a week. No chance
Wright Phillips and Onuoha. Massive wages. No chance. Chalobah possibly if promoted. The players coming in will not be current PL players unless their wages are very low. Pozzo's do not pay high wages. Highest earner at Udinese is only on £25k a week.

Pozzo's rarely spend big bucks on buying players in. Why would they when they have literally hundreds of pro players on their books in Italy, Spain, UK and South America? That's where Zola will do his shopping - think the likes of Merkel, Badu, Fabrini. all free transfers too.

26 Apr 2013 17:02:36
because do you really think these football people would allow their squad to go into a premier league season with absolutely no premier league experience in the squad (Almunia yes, Hall hardly, Doyley hardly) - even in the championship the Pozzo's will look to add some more experience in English football to compliment the loanees - a mix is needed to succed at the highest level and that has been recognised
Zero

Prem experience? So Serie A, La Liga and International experience counts for nothing then.

I'm not saying that that experience was not valuable? but the premier league and English football in general is different from any in Europe! so often you see teams suffer through a lack of experience, and having no players who have played in the prem (except Almunia) is an extremely risky stragety, and this has been identified - Cardiff have won this league through consistency and know-how - this is what Watford are looking at

25 Apr 2013 19:11:53
Kevin Davies has turned down Toronto and will join afcb on a 1 year deal when his bwfc contract expires.

He'll go to Burnley

If true WOW I asked eddie mitchell to get him go on eddie

25 Apr 2013 19:08:41
MK Dons are trying to sign Notts County midfielder Neal Bishop who will become a free agent this summer. McHale Sports who represent Bishop have confirmed that there is interest from other clubs.

He. Has signed a years extension, but I'd be glad to see him gone. Big ego, bad influence

You may be after signing Bishop, but he still has a year left on his contract. Fee necessary.

26 Apr 2013 07:46:36
if there is a packet of peanuts and a wham bar being offered, I will put him in the boot of my car and bring him down to you myself.

I'd take Neal Bishop, but only is you take Robbo and Winkelman in exchange.

Great news for all Notts supporters

25 Apr 2013 19:06:49
News that Cardiff are going to swoop in on players from relegated teams is gathering pace. The 2nd division champions are keeping an eye on the situation on Reading's Adam Le Fondre, Hal Robson-Kanu and Chris Gunter. Robert Green, Andrew Johnson, Jamie Mackie and Shaun Wright-Phillips are also targets, but at the moment are the least likely to happen. Cardiff see their targeted players as ideal experience to help them succeed in their first ever Barclays Premier League campaign.

Why would malky buy players who have got relagated?

surely he's trying to stay up not follow them

Have gunter he's our worst player hrk and alf are good

green is on 50k same as johnson and phillips 60k

ALF. Has been linked with. WBA. LEEDS. SWINDON HARTLEPOOL. SOUTHAMPTON. LIVERPOOL CELTIC so why would he go to. Cardiff?

You clearly don't know much about football if you think cardiff are below leeds swindon hrtlepool and celtic

25 Apr 2013 17:23:16
Everton want quality CB cover. One of their main targets is highly rated Romanian Vlad Chiriches, from Steaua Bucharest.

They won't sign that guy

26 Apr 2013 02:07:02
Is it because you don't know Chiriches at all or because he's been linked with the likes of Barcelona and AC Milan? Just wondering.
And, for your information, when Steven Fletcher was playing for Hibs he was linked to Real Madrid. He eventually joined "powerhouse" Burnley, with all respect for The Clarets.

25 Apr 2013 19:24:39
Edinson Cavani's future is still unknown. The Uruguayan forward has agreed personal terms with French champions PSG and English runners-up Manchester City. Napoli, however, have denied that any club have met his buy-out clause of £54m. Juventus are also interested, but would not be able to afford the cash up-front. The Turin club are mulling a cash-plus-swap deal involving Giovinco and Vucinic

I would like to see Cavani in the premier league. I think he would do good at Liverpool

25 Apr 2013 23:10:48
Yes good partner for Suarez

25 Apr 2013 19:19:12
Roberto Mancini has one game to save his Manchester City career; The FA Cup Final vs. Wigan. If things don't go City's way, Mancini will move to France with either PSG or Monaco. Even if the Citizens win the Final, he could still be sacked if Carlo Ancelotti opts not to go to Real Madrid. Expect a manager merry-go-round at the end of the season.

Mancinis there long term

26 Apr 2013 16:20:55
Mancini's future has nothing to do with FA Cup Final.
If Spanish 2 have their own man in mind he will go or will be reassessed in 1 years' time when CL progress will hopefully be made.

25 Apr 2013 19:18:33
Rooney to PSG

Well if Falcao goes to manchester united I think Rooney should go.

25 Apr 2013 17:11:09
Cardiff ins:

Scott Sinclair 2m
John Guidetti loan
John Brayford 3.2m
Leon Barnett 1.1m
Arouna Kone 4m
Antolin Alcatraz 1.9m

Malky Mackay has also sent scouts across Europe to find hidden talent. Expect 2 or 3 signings from abroad

Cardiff Outs
Etien Velikonja
Don Cowie
Kevin McNaughton
Rudy Gestede
Tommy Smith
Heider Helguson

Bigger clubs are interested in the likes of Sinclair, Guidetti and Kone so no chance there!

Considering sinclair will go for at least 5 mill, that's one not going to happen, if kone goes he will go to a top 6 team, not a small team, brayford could also go to a bigger team

Don't know where you get your info from but it can't be from a reliable source.

Sinclair won't join. Cardiff fans will just boo him for used to playing the swans

25 Apr 2013 22:31:34
Who are the bigger clubs in for these players?

There are bigger clubs abroad in for Guidetti but Man City want him to get premier league experience.

As for Cardiff will just boo him because he played for Swansea, 1 of Cardiffs biggest legends used to play for Swansea, fans quickly forget

4mil for Kone is a bit optimistic. He's had a decent season, it'd be more like £6-7mil.

26 Apr 2013 13:57:26
Alcaraz is out of contract in the summer

25 Apr 2013 17:01:26
Bradford City looking at Chris Humphrey from Motherwell available on a free transfer in the summer.

Leeds are after him so he definately won't join you! MOT!

25 Apr 2013 20:36:00
Nahki Wells makes verbal agreement to join Burnley next season

If nahki does leave we are apparentky gona replace him with steve kabba or marlon harewood

Kabba don't make me laugh the guys hopeless couldn't even get a game at Barnet. If City go up Wells will stay for another year.

25 Apr 2013 16:51:23
Charlton are in talks with arsenal to take Thomas eisfeld on a season long loan for next season.

25 Apr 2013 16:48:41
Francois Zoko to return to Carlisle United. The forward has fallen out with his current team Notts County after a number of issues. Honestly trust me. Very Very reliable source!

Have him. he's done nothing to warrant being played this season. Filled a shirt and drawn a wage.
This is no doubt the "shirt" rumours about him giving his match shirt away which did the rounds.
Has to be the single biggest disappointing signing we made last summer, and no doubt one on high wages too.

25 Apr 2013 19:26:08
I'll give him his bus fare.

He though he was better than every player at carlisle, yes he was brilliant in bursts but look at his previous striking partners miller. madine and Ben Marshall, I must admit he is a very good player on his day but he seems to have got his lazy side back since joining notts county, Carlisle had to nearly beat it out of him.

Dont want him back.

I really hope this is true him and manset upfront would be unbelievable

Mr. Zoko is finding out the grass ain't always greener he was offered a good deal by Carlisle last year.

Want his talent back but not his betrayal.

Zoko has been terrible this year apart from 20 ish mins against bury where he looked slightly interested, other than this he has been a huge waste of money, good riddance

Think with players like zoko you have to look at coaches, ripping teams apart last season with Carlisle scoring 14 goals and forming a top class partnership with lee miller

25 Apr 2013 16:37:43
Brighton Ins:
Marvin Emnes (Middlesbrough) 1.2m
Tom Carroll (Tottenham) Loan
Nathaniel Chabolah (Chelsea) Loan
Christian Stuani (Espanyol) 2.4m
Matthew Upson (Stoke) Free
Wayne Bridge (Manchester City) Free

Very good for brighton

Wait. Are we paying them 1.2m to take emnes of our hands or are they actually stupid enough to pay for him

25 Apr 2013 22:17:39
Watford will keep chalobah on loan if go up

From a boro fan IMO hull will take 2nd and brighton will win the playoffs against palace in the final

25 Apr 2013 16:06:56
Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has identified four names to add to his squad as he wants to compete in the Champions League next season.
Arsenal defender Per Mertesacker is a surprise target and could sign for as much as £28 million. Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger seems reluctant to let him go but the former Werder Bremen and Hannover player is keen on Premier League success.
Mancini is also wanting to add to his midfield and sees 24 year old Lyon man Maxime Gonalons as the ideal player. Gonalons has made over 100 league appearances for the French side and is keen on a move to England. His price for a move to City is expected to cost in the region of £17 - £18 million for the highly rated captain.
The third and fourth names in question of the North West spending spree is two attackers.
The first is reportedly Juventus hitman Mirko Vucinic. The 29 year old has been linked in the past to English sides but wants to work under the Italian manager. The asking price is thought to be between £28 - £29 million for the former Roma, Lecce and Sutjeska Niksic.
The second striker will take the spending spree for City well above £120 million. Liverpool attacker Luis Suarez is subject of interest from City and manager Mancini feels he can look after the player better then their Anfield rivals. Suarez is also keen on the move as he wants to play in the Champions League and challenge for the Premier League title. The Merseyside club are rumoured to be wanting around £62 million for the hitman and Mancini is willing to pay it to get his man.

Who in there right mind would paid 28 m for mertesacker

As soon as you said 28 mil for PM I knew it was made up

Why waste your time writing this? 28m for metersacker - seriously?

This assumes that Mancini is still Man City manager which I think unlikely.

I also do not think that he is sure enough to identify four signings.

As with all rumours, we must wait and see.

Outsider

25 Apr 2013 15:34:17
Brighton fan favourite Inigo Calderon said to make move back to Spain to Celta the Vigo in the Summer

Source: Staff that work at Vigo

He doesn't want to go back to spain

HMMM. interesting rumour, in an ideal world he would be an ambassador to any future Spanish players bought in, as he has always made Spanish players welcome and common ground mates. But in reality he is a very good RB and an excellent teammate but to seriously push for automatic places next season 2013/14, I don't think he's strong enough. so that rumour may have some legs. but emotionally I hope your wrong.

He said he wants to end his career at brighton

25 Apr 2013 15:25:46
Dean whitehead to join Derby on a free from Stoke

Seems da's the rumour from stoke

Be a great signing if true!

Quite a bit of speculation flying around the Brittania about this one. Sounds like it could be happening.

he is awful. Derby have an abundance of CM's already. His wages will be shockingly high too so we cannot compete financially, our wage bill in one of the poorest in the league.

25 Apr 2013 15:17:19
Burton manager Gary Rowett looking to sign Tomas Cywka and Lewin Nyatanga in the summer (Barnsley and Bristol City), also move for Richie Wellens to add experience into the midfield and pick up David Bell from Coventry (free).

No chance of getting Cywka!

I'd love to see all of them at the pirelli, but seems unlikely even if we get promoted. players like bell, cywka and wellens will all be on fairly big wages.

A fantastic result Barnsley! Now finish the job at Huddersfield! In the meantime the Directors should award David Flitcroft a two year contract prior to last game of the season. If they know their job then they must not hesitate. Please don't wait until the end of the season! I sure other clubs will be looking at what he has achieved at Oakwell! Please Directors give the lad a contract. I am sure the vast majority of supporters would endorse this plea.

I agree with the above, the directors must give David Flitcroft a contract. Whatever happens at Huddersfield, Flitcroft deserves at least a two year contract. If Barnsley go down, God forbid, then the directors are to blame! Keith Hill should have been sacked in October! Good luck to all the Barnsley players! Best of luck Mr Flitcroft, you deserve success!

I believe SOD will give Lewin Nytanga another season at Bristol City. I would imagine it will come down to if he is willing to renegotiate his wage to a League 1 level.

Are you serious? cywka? no chance in hell

thought your in debt and dint have any money

25 Apr 2013 15:13:39
Coventry to pick up experienced Richie Wellens on a free from Leicester, sign Rory Delap on a one year deal and forward Tomas Cwyka (Barnsley).

Just agent 'talks' wanting to move players on, Cwyka and Lewin would be good for either club (Sky blues or brewers) as league one is their level, may be dependant on promotion for brewers and coming out of admin and transfer embargo for cov!

25 Apr 2013 15:03:51
Derby looking to raid Blackburn for defender Scott Dann.

Would be a massive coup and good for Derby to steal a march on other rivals!

Derby also in for Danny Lafferty (Burnley) and Steve Morrison (Norwich).

Could happen I think Dann would want to play for a bigger club

Shows how reliable your information is and how made up it is the fact that you don't even know that Steve Morison moved to Leeds in January, and your claiming that derby are gunna sign him from Norwich? Some research is required for you I think

Derby need to make a couple of 'marque' signings for boost the squad. Can see one of those but not all three unless they sold Hughes to fund the transfers (would be good business in my view?).

Behave

Morrison to Leeds, wasn't that a loan move?

Jordan Rhodes off in summer to west ham. Fed up already at Rovers and their poor poor season

Cardiff interested in Rhodes also, though may struggle with fee.

No Morrison to leeds was permanent swap deal with Lucio Beccio

25 Apr 2013 14:19:34
carroll to psg 16m

25 Apr 2013 13:59:22
Edison cavani is set to leave the naples this summer and join the Etihad after agreeing personal terms

25 Apr 2013 13:51:16
Cardiff will make a bid of around £2m for Bristol City left back Greg Cunningham. The ROI defender made a good impression on Malky when the clubs met earlier this season

Not true, he has to be welsh

I think we would snap anyones hand off if they offered £2m for anyone in our squad at the moment.

Clearing out, cutting costs, starting again.

25 Apr 2013 13:48:21
Crystal Palace will make a bid Bristol City's Albert Adomah in the summer.
The player is under contract, but with Bristol looking to trim their wage bill and reduce debt, they will be willing to do business.
Expect Palace to make an initial bid of £750k which is likely to be turned down, but a deal of just over £1m may suit both clubs.

On his way to boro {Ed034's Note - a lot of championship clubs have looked at him this season. Expect forest to also put à bid in

25 Apr 2013 13:24:26
Samaras to sign for Southampton in the summer

God I hope not shocking

Haha. That made me laugh. We're really going places with Samaras on board! If you're going to make up a rumour at least make it believable!

Of course he is, champs lge football or relegation battle, hmm, tough one, lol

25 Apr 2013 18:38:51
He is useless got much better here

A joke posting. He wouldn't get near our first team, he's terrible.
Relegation battle? Do you watch the premier league? Highly unlikely the way things are moving at SFC. Champion League? Celtic? The odd good result here and there aside you struggle each year even though you get a bye into it. Not enticing for top players, hence your very average squad.
To reiterate SFC have no interest in Samaras. We have far better already and will recruit much better than him in the summer.

Haha brilliant. why don't we snap up Tomas Gekas while we're at it?!

Stupid post mate. but at least you made us laugh!

26 Apr 2013 08:29:19
No thanks don't want Sunday league players

Good work nearly spat tea all over my laptop, hilarious

st stuie

25 Apr 2013 12:47:08
Walsall have offered trials to released Birmingham Trio Jack Deaman, Fraser Kerr and Graham Hutchison but will only sign one of the three as a replacment for Dean Holden.

Fraser kerr looks pretty good player, one for the future

25 Apr 2013 12:19:24
Carlo Ancelotti has agreed a 2-year deal with Spanish runners-up Real Madrid. The deal will be announced after the capital club's 2nd leg against Dortmund. Ancelotti had already agreed to leave PSG at the end of the campaign, before he opened discussions with Madrid. Mourinho's much-speculated future will soon be resolved, as he has already spoken to Roman Abramovich. It is not yet known who will become next season's PSG manager, although Dortmund's Klopp is high on Leonardo's list of replacements for Italian Ancelotti.

25 Apr 2013 12:38:31
Brighton now in competition with Cardiff in securing former England left-back Wayne Bridge. Brighton said to be favourite but Mackay is said to be willing to pay him 20kpw

Bridge won't go the Wales he said he likes it at Brighton

25 Apr 2013 12:20:58
Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes and ex Oldham Athletic boss Joe Royle are in discussion with the Oldham board over a supposed the takeover. The deal would hand ownership and chairman rights over to the pair whilst also offering current chairman Simon Corney a new position at the club.

! Brilliant! New stadium being built, new proven manager and players raring to go already with young fresh talent coming through and Corney wants to go and sell up? Where have you heard this tripe?

Whilst the names involved are highly unlikely, Mr Corney has intimated he would sell, should a realistic offer be tabled by an interested party. In any case, I doubt he would stay at the club afterwards & would simply pursue his business interests in NY.

25 Apr 2013 12:11:00
Relegated Bristol City will not be taking Jon Stead, Liam Fontaine, Albert Adomah, Lewis Nyatanga or Neil Kilkenny with them to League 1. Kilkenny is interesting former club Leeds, Norwich and Bournemouth. Liam Fontaine, who's contract expires at the end of next season, is in talks with Reading and could follow outgoing Nyatanga to the Madejski. Albert Adomah will move to Crystal Palace to replace Wilfried Zaha.

25 Apr 2013 13:03:58
Really? You think Norwich are interested in Kilkenny? Not even remotely and if he were willing to play for £0 a week. We are looking for better players than we have not league 1 standard players any longer.

Kilkenny is not interesting Leeds Utd, he is nowhere near good enough

Kilkenny in talks over move to Pride Park and Nyatanga to Coventry. Adomah may go to Sunderland as Di canios' 1st signing!

I won't be shocked if these are all players out at Bristol City, but I would be stunned if any progress up to top championship clubs.

Expect them to all shuffle around next years relegation candidates.

Why would Reading be interested in 2 Bristol City players who are part of a team that got them relegated. We are looking to bounce straight back into the premier league not do a Wolves

25 Apr 2013 12:07:09
Premier League champions Manchester United are looking into sending Wilfried Zaha on loan to a Premier League club for the 2013-14 season. If Crystal Palace are promoted, he will rejoin them, if not then Norwich have made an enquiry. It is thought that Alex Ferguson will give Valencia and Nani another season to prove they are still valuable to the team.

Would love for this to be true but I highly doubt that it is.

Oh god yes please

25 Apr 2013 12:05:13
Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie could be following out-going team-mate Wilfried Zaha to the Premier League. Norwich and West Brom are looking into a potential deal.

Yes please, bolasie better than Zaha I think

25 Apr 2013 11:54:03
Spurs' chairman Daniel Levy is apparently 'obsessed' with signing Loic Remy. The French striker, who's club QPR are expected to be relegated, has also drawn interest from PSG, Arsenal and Napoli. QPR would let him go for between £10-£13m to help them in their Championship campaign in 2013-14.

Doesn't he have an eight million pound get out clause if QPR are relegated?

The only players Levy is ever obsessed with are ones he thinks he can buy cheap and sell for a big profit
Remy doesn't really come into that category as he would cost as much in summer as he is ever likely to be worth and at an age where his value would be pretty low at the point his contract was nearing it's end
Levy might want him but I doubt he'd offer more than the £8 mill QPR reportedly paid, he knows QPR won't want to pay the wages he is on when they are relegated

25 Apr 2013 23:17:45
£6m release fee

25 Apr 2013 11:38:42
Manchester United will be looking to offload Nani and Anderson this summer after growing frustrated with the lack of improvement they have shown.

Nani will be allowed to leave for £15m and Anderson for £12m.

Nani will probably move to Italy joining Inter or Juventus, and Anderson will most likely go back to Portugal with Benfica or Porto.

25 Apr 2013 11:34:16
Christian Eriksen will snub plenty of top European teams to join Borrussia Dortmund this summer.

They have made him no.1 target to replace Gotze and will sign him for £17m.

25 Apr 2013 11:30:34
Charlie Sheringham is set to join his dads old team Portsmouth on a free transfer in the summer as Bournemouth got promotion and he isn't in Eddie Howes plans for next season.

Would be a good move for him, I wish him luck

26 Apr 2013 15:20:26
Don't be too shocked if Matt Tubbs ends up at Pompey on loan too

From the little I've seen of Charlie, I believe he is really talented, so am hoping Eddie gives him a years contract at the least.

Good to see him travel and warm up with the team yesterday

I can see this happening, after having a great long spell at Dartford I think he is ready for league 2 with Portsmouth

Charlie released today by Bournemouth

Allthough Preston have just triggerd Monakana'a, Wright's and Hayhursts one year extentions they are working very hard to sort out new 2 year deals for the 3 youngsters

Couple of more seasons in League 1 should see them get better and better.

Can see these 3 making PNE a nice profit.

Maybe just the one season, then in the Championship.

Really doubt it.

If you were just outside the play offs or even mid table then a possible push next season maybe?

BUT you don't have the quality or the resources to push for promotion and with the possibility of Wolves, Barnsley, Bristol City, Sheff Utd etc etc looking to get out of that league I can only see mid table at best.

If the likes of Wolves, Barnsley, Bristol City and Sheff Utd had that much quality they would not be in or heading for division 1

^^^ we are in mid table!

There's been early interest shown in Kolo Toure who announced he is leaving Man City yesterday. Swansea, Southampton, Newcastle and Sunderland will battle for him in the summer.

Newcastle certainly won't be interested in him.

Scott sinclair wants to go out on loan if mancini isn't sacked, prime opportunity there

Doubt the Swans will get him. Reading one of his interviews, he mentions how he likes the area and his kids are schooled there. A lot of changes he would rather not make and Liverpool are practically next door!
I know they have a young player policy but if he's free? Wouldn't surprise me at all.

The only plausibility of him coming to us is his desire to play regular and enjoyment in being a part of something exciting, he would get that here. But would he be happy in accepting such a significant pay drop?
I think the summer is going to be very exciting, next season will either be epic or our worst one since getting up, finishing below Cardiff even. shudder at the thought!

I'm not anti-Cardiff and actually congratulate them on their achievement, even more publicity for Wales, but we always want to finish above our arch rivals don't we?!

Swansea? You are kidding!

Gotta agree that it won't be Swansea. Very well run club Swansea and certainly won't plough out stupid wages on players especially someone coming to the end of his career

Not being funny but even in his prime Kolo Toure wouldn't get in the Swans team ahead of Ashley Williams and Chico. No thank you. {Ed034's Note - lol brilliant

Not been funny lol kolo in his prime was class Williams and Chico were not fit to lace his boots never be on his level

I agree that Toure was better than Ash and Chico when he was in his prime, but I don't understand why people underestimate Williams and Chico so much. They're partnership is outstanding. Ashley Williams is being tipped to join Liverpool and arsenal for big bucks so why don't people rate him?! He's captain of Wales, in front of the likes of Bellamy and Ramsey. He's known as one of the most promising defenders for a reason.

I'm hearing of 2 almost certain done deals in terms of departures from QPR.

Julio Cesar has stated he wants to stay in the Premier League, and Arsenal will be the club he joins this summer.

Adel Taarabt's transfer will be one of the earliest to be confirmed this summer. Marseille are favorites to sign him but there is also interest from Napoli, St Etienne and Newcastle United. His price tag will be £11m this summer.

Hull going to the prem!

Ins:

Stockdale - Fulham
Elmohammady - Sunderland
Gedo - Al Alhy
Ahmed Fathi - Al Alhy
Le Fondre - Relegated Reading
Gudietti - Man C (loan)
Buttner - man united (loan)
Kelly - Liverpool (loan)
Ayala - Norwich
Zamora - Relegated QPR
Townsend - Tottenham (loan)
Benteke - Aston Villa (If relegated)
Sako - Wolves

Outs:

Seyi Olifinjina - Shef Wednesday
Mark Oxley - Gillingham
Danny East - Gillingham
Aaron McLean - AFC Bournemouth
Jay Simpson - Birmingham
Corry Evans - Blackburn
Tom Cairney - Ipswich

You think Hull will sign Benteke? Are you for real?

Aston Villa won't accept less than £20m and don't think Hull could afford a quarter of that.

25 Apr 2013 11:54:27
benteke no way

Benteke? Really , So Hull have a spare 20mil hanging around?
Dream on.

Someone's a bit excited about promotion like 1 if these will happen. Benteke is deluded, le fondre won't happen.

25 Apr 2013 14:43:23
your only allowed to loans in a season

IF we go up:

Too many internal loanees (only allowed 2 in the Prem I think)

Zamora's wages are astronomical, wouldn't touch him with a barge-pole.

Benteke too expensive.

Fathi not done enough during his stay to warrant a perm signing. Gedo's gone of the boil too. I'd take Gedo on loan again though

Sakho wouldn't be a bad shout but would Wolves sell him back to us?

Ayala would be a good squad player but Norwich should e one of our main rivals next term (if we go up), would they really want him coming to us?

Le Fondre would be pricey and might not fancy spending another season fighting for Premiership survival (I'm a realist afterall) but would proabably fit in really well with our style so maybe.

Stockdale's OK but Fulham have over-valued him at £4mil. If we could get him for £1mil then go for it but otherwise.

Elmohammady is the only one on that list that is a realistic and good value target for us.

Zamora won't go to hull Brighton is the only club he would go to

Benteke! What are you smoking!?

No chance of butter going and men are more likely to land on mars at this moment in time than bent eke going to Hull.

Guidetti, buttner, zamora and benteke you have no chance of

25 Apr 2013 17:27:02
Sako has never played for Hull?

25 Apr 2013 22:20:58
You're not getting benteke

That guy who posted all them signings is obviously winding us up, 1. sako has never played for Hull 2. beneteke is wanted by bigger/better clubs than Hull

Sorry I got sako confused with Moyokolo. Don't ask how, i'm just an person.

Benteke, haha. What you on

Although Benteke will probably be snatched up by a bigger club than hull, there is no doubt that we have the financial backing to buy someone like him, seeing as not only do we have owners with an estimated £300million but also the £120million given to us f we win promotion

Your post was going really well until you added Benteke to the list.

It's 90m for promotion and readings owners have 7B between the two and if you include his dad about 15B

Shame at the moment you're not going up!

Well that 15B hasn't helped them much this season considering we're they are. I bet they regret signing Pogrebnyak and us whites are happy because we got Berba instead of him. COYW

Pog is fine it's the lack of players as good as him that we didn't sign that were the problem.

Well you aren't going up after your humiliation at barnsley anyway so I wouldn't get excited :)

Hull going up!ha ha more likely to be watford now

More like the championship now for hull not much chance they will beat cardiff.

Spurs will make Christian Benteke their number 1 transfer target this summer. If Villa stay up they will be reluctant to sell but will be tempted by £20m.

If they fail to sign him, Loic Remy will be the back up signing. QPR will let him go for £8m to cover the amount they spent on him. I'm hearing West Ham will make an attempt to sign Remy aswell though.

If Villa stay up he simply will not be sold. If he went down then £25mil would be the starting bid I would think. He's only 22 with 3 years left on his contract in the summer so we really don't need to sell.

Levy will never offer that kind of money for Benteke especially when there are cheaper and better targets like Negredo, Aubameyang and Leandro he can buy

25 Apr 2013 11:03:25
Bournemouth to complete signings of 2 Swindon Town players if Town don't make it through the play-offs.

Nathan Thompson will be signed on a free due to his contract ending and Aden Flint will be signed for £300k.

Flint is also out of contract too, load of rubbish this one then

25 Apr 2013 19:41:57
Nathan Thompson is under 24 so a fee has to be paid, Swindon has an option on Flint for a further year, but will wait to see if Troy recovers from his long term injury before making a decision. Either way no transfer will happen if Swindon go up apart from Caddis leaving for somewhere between 300-500k.

Swindon expecting 25% of any profit from Charlie Austin sale expected to be between 6-8 Million.

Nathan Thompson will not be going anywhere as he is just in the process of buying his first house in north Swindon with his brother, negotiations have already begun to renew his contract without the medias knowledge.

Aden flint is putting his money into a Swindon night club so can't see him leaving town.

25 Apr 2013 10:58:03
Phil Parkinson off to Sheff Utd no matter which division Bradford are in next season, Bradford looking towards Nigel Adkins as a replacement.

Atkins only just joined Reading.

Adkins has just joined reading and also parkinson has said he wants to 'do a reading with city' but actually keep them in the prem!

Think this guy must have just come out of hibernation? Why would Adkins leave Reading when he has just joined them!

Parkinson will not be at City next season, Adkins will not be at city season but Dennis wise will!

Wise? Where did you pluck that from? Fresh air!

I have a new twist on this, I believe from reliable sources that Parko and his team are all going to Sheff Utd and Bradford are in advanced talks with Paul Jewell and Chris Hutchings to take over and try to replicate what they did at City 1st time around. this will be announced after the playoffs are complete.

Manchester United see young Southampton full-back Luke Shaw as the perfect replacement for Patrice Evra. I don't expect anything to happen this summer and he will stay at Soton for another year, but potentially next summer United will make a move for him.

Chelsea will most likely also show interest, and I expect Southampton wouldn't hold out for anything less than £12-15m.

I expect him to join Chelsea this summer

You having a laugh? He'll be signing a 5 year contract in July when he turns 18. 12-15m? That would give Cortese a laugh! He has stated that we won't be selling any of our prized assets like our club used too.

It's going to cost more then 15 mill to buy shaw out of a 4 year contract!

That's the kind of price we held out for back in league one/championship, when we felt we didn't have the power to fully convince players to stay, and so had to sell them for cheaper than we possibly could have.

Now we are in the Premier League, we can convince players with the promise of week in, week out football. As well as this, Luke is considered part of the future of Southampton. So I believe if he was sold it would be in the region of 30 million +

Hope we keep him though, COYR

Cortese won't be selling for less than 30, surely people have gotten to know what he is like by now?

Despite his very young age he is established in a premier league side. Saints also don't need to sell at all. This combined means that it will take an absolutely MASSIVE bid to even catch our attention. I can't see any chairman risking that much money on a teenager despite his clear potential!

30 million, and the rest

26 Apr 2013 16:21:38
Lets look at the facts. Previously our highly prized kids have gone for relatively big money. Bale, and Walcott both had full seasons behind them and the deals were £12M and £15M respectively. However, the season that the kids played was in the championship, which left a lot of questions unanswered for a lot of people.

Under the new regime, we have sold Alex Oxlaide-Chamberline for a rumoured £15M. The season he had played was in league 1. This shows several things relating to Shaw and his current circumstances.

1). Shaw may go, despite stating that he will sign a 5 yr contract when he turns 18 yrs old.

2). If Shaw decides to leave, he has proved he can play at the highest level. Bearing in mind Saints have serious financial backing, they have no need to sell, therefore the asking price will be in excess of the previous deals. A realistic asking price would be in the region of £25M.

3) Any potential deal is dependant on Shaw wishing to leave, but it is expected that Shaw wishes to stay and help build something special at Southampton. The chairman wishes Southampton to be challenging for the Champions league, and is taking steps to make this happen. Expect big things from Southampton over the next few years.
The future is bright. The future is red and white!

I thought buttner was evra's replacement.

Spurs are going all out to capture the signing of Gastn Ramrez this summer to add that much needed fire power up top. Source: Close friend to Mabbutt

As a saints fan as long as we recovered the 12m we payed for him, I wouldn't be too woried if he went. hasn't settled well, can only last 60 minutes in a game, only scored 5 goals and is very inconsistent.

Bailey Wright is wanted by both Blackpool and Blackburn. He wants a move up to the Championship

What about Burnley?

Also heard an unamed Premiership club are keen to sign him and are willing to match PNE's valuation.

Bailey Wright is key to Preston North End defence and is ENJOYING life at PNE he won't be leaving if anything he will be signing a new contrat along with Monakana and hayhurst

Who's Bailey Wright?

Tried searching for him and can't find any info. Who does he play for and why has nobody ever mentioned him? {Ed001's Note - he plays for Preston, you can't have searched very hard!}

25 Apr 2013 11:20:53
Considering he just got a contract extention and is PNE through and through I doubt he would go to either of those clubs

Baily right is a top qaulity player at PNE and would hate to go to blackpool or blackburn there both sinking shps!

Sorry Ed001, I looked on Google and I found him after a bit of a search.

Sorry but I'm slightly underwhelmed, he doesn't appear to have set League 1 on fire this season?

See he was also a free.

Why don't PNE keep him as Pool are getting rid of their development squad next season and I really doubt he would make the team.

Or sell him to that Prem team that's been mentioned. was it Utd or City that were after him? {Ed001's Note - when I put him in Google, to test what you said, the top result was a link to his profile on transfermarkt, followed by the second result being his profile on Preston's site. Hence my reply.}

PNE is a ship that sunk a long time ago !

OK PNE fans, How much is this Baily Wright worth?

And if he's worth a decent amount in Transfer value and Prem clubs are chasing him. WHY are you selling him?

Wouldn't you want to keep your "Best" players to get you out of league 1?

25 Apr 2013 19:26:14
he is not being sold as for not making the blackpool team he is way to good for them also I see blackpool need a few more fans at home games

Pretty rich coming from a PNE fan! Preston only managed to get over 10,000 fans at home 5 times this season ( and then only when a big away support came). Average home gates closer to half that of Blackpool's.

A couple of big players for MK Dons will be departing this summer. Dean Lewington wants Championship football and will be the first to leave. Bournemouth, Blackpool and Millwall all said to be interested.

With the captain gone, MK will make a last ditch attempt to keep midfielder Stephen Gleeson by offering him the armband. However Blackpool manager Paul Ince is desperate to sign his former player and Gleeson may be tempted to leave. MK will accept any bids above £1m.

Also, Adam Chicksen is not signing a new deal until it is confirmed Dean Lewington is leaving. He only wants to stay if he can play his favored left-back positon. Once Dean is gone, expect him to sign a fresh 3-year contract and take the number 3 shirt.

I saw Karl Robinson and Mick Harford at the Arsenal U21 v Spurs U21 game on Monday night, clearly running the rule over somebody very closely.

Please let this be true. Lewington is holding us back and Chicksen is by far the better player. Gleeson to stay until December unless we're running away with the league in which case, he'll see out his contract and then weigh up his options next summer.

"MK will accept any bids above £1m"

Thats Blackpool out then.

KoKo will be looking at a free transfer and a drop in wages if he's coming to the club

Lewington won't leave and nor will chicksen as his favored position is on the wing

". unless we're running away with the league. "

Good lord man! What planet are you on? Us? Running away with a league? Joke of the century.

Lewington to leave, remember it is his testimonial year, so it may swing another year for him, but then again has there ever been any serious offer for him? Previous rumours always seem to centre around him joining his dad somewhere, which is somewhat unlikely at the moment!

What Championship side would want to sign Lewington - An ageing left back (29 next month) who has been crocked for the last couple of months, has lost what little pace he had and has been part of a mediocre league one side this season. Add the testimonial to the mix and there's no way he'll be leaving the Dons

Anyone who thinks Chicksen is better than Lewie obviously doesn't understand the game. Seriously, did you just start watching football in 2004 when Wimbledon moved north? Comments like this show our fan are has a long way to go.

Deano isn't going anywhere, he's Don's through and through and for the person who thinks Chicko's prefered position is as a winger. do you even know who Chicko is? They will both stay. Personally I think Stevie Glee will also stay as will Bowds. I'm hoping Shauny will stay as well but I'm desperately hoping for a proper right back (Ots hasn't been the right back I'd hoped he be) and also a left winger so we can rest Bowds and a GOALSCORER.

Im a big bournemouth fan and he will join reading

25 Apr 2013 00:02:32
After recent performances, expect interest in Ilkay Gundogan to heat up. It's been confirmed Ilkay has got a €26m (roughly £22m) release clause in his current contract.

I expect Dortmund will be desperately trying to tie him down to a new deal, with the certain departure of Mario Gotze. However, if the release clause is matched and the player decides to leave there is nothing they can do.

Expect interest from Real Madrid, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain. Personally think United would be the best move for him, Madrid have a tendency for ruining top midfielders i.e Sneijder, Kaka, Robben, Sahin.

24 Apr 2013 23:50:20
Arsenal plan summer transfer with sign Lewandowski, Gundogan, Valdes, Begovic, Dragović and Jovetic

2 Goalkeepers?

So they will sign 2 top class keepers? yeah right, keep dreaming.

25 Apr 2013 00:29:52
Everton will be making early summer business with the double signing of Scott Sinclair and former player Joleon Lescott from Man City. The fee will be just £12m for the two.

I agree they will be looking to bring these 2 players in but 12m is too high, think both will go for between 2-4m each as neither needed by City, would also like to see Guidetti on loan too.
