AmeobiLooks like we (southend) have got rid of Ricketts, although we cancelled his contract, we were paying him up till he found a new club. Part of his reason for leaving is he wants to go back to his home in the Midlands, as he hasn't settled away from there. I'm told his first club, Walsall, are due to sign him very very shortly. Anyway, I am an Arsenal fan who lives up in the North East and the rumour up this way is that Charles N'Zogbia is being monitored by AW. Rumour is that although he would love to have Ribery at the Emirates, he will not be held to ransom and will look at N'Zogbia if no fee can be agreed.
The deal taking N'Zogbia to Arsenal would see a central defender (possibly Senderos) going the other way.Liverpool are going to sign just 1 player in the summer thought to be a centre half to replace hyypia.
