People really need to stop typing nonsense on this forum. Some people are throwing names about that they want to see play for their teams rather than realistic transfers.

Old Firm fans especially. .

Celtic
S Brown will go nowhere he's just had an ankle op and is out for 6 weeks. The same goes for McManus going nowhere. Boruc will also start the season with Celtic no one will pay over the odds for a keeper that blunders as much as he does. The only players leaving will be JVOH, & Nakamura, Balde, Donati & possibly Naylor but once again anyone who's watched him last season will not be rushing for his signature unless your Accrington Stanley.

Celtic are not prepared to pay over £4m for Fortune when they can get Fletcher for just under £3m. The only other signings for Celtic will be a centre half and another midfielder.

Rangers–

Birmingham will make an offer for Ferguson of around £1m, and with him just back from holiday this should be tied up in the next week. Adam should also be gone with Barnsley about to increase their offer from 350k to 500k. Rangers are waiting on an answer from Hreidarrsson and expect Peter Lovenkrands on a free to return to ibrox once Adam & Ferguson are off the wage bill. McGregor, or Boyd are going nowhere, and the only other arrival will be another centre midfielder to cover for Thomson & Edu who will be out until September.
Looks like the Scousers have given up on trying to better United with their footballing talent and are once again trying to buy their way to success. I have heard a little snippet from someone in the know, that a takeover has already been completed and that there will be massive funds available for Rafa to waste. My source says that everything has already been agreed, but the information is not being released in an attempt to keep prices low for prospecive recruits. He didn't divulge who was behind this move, but I got the impression that Sheikh Mohammed was back in the frame, as he mentioned that Amanda Staveley was involved once again. I wholly trust my source on this as he is privvy to things like this. Worrying for United, but exciting times ahead for Liverpool fans and the Premier League in general methinks.
I don't have any rumours, as I do not know anybody that has a sister who's cousin bought a dog from the bloke that cleans Didier Drogbas agents pool. .
But contemplate this, within the space of 3 hours on tuesday, Real released a statement that they are no longer chasing David Villa, Valencia release a statement that David Villa is not for sale (massive debt & not selling most lucrative asset at a time when people are parting with stupid amounts of money! bad move) and Macherano says he is happy to stay at liverpool has no problems with anybody!?! (what about his wife who refuses to settle in england?)
I can't see that Arab bloke being able to get the dumb yanks to part with L.F.C. why else would the ice hockey team be sold if you were about to get another £150 Mill. . Plus R.B.S. have anounced that they will re–finance (who would part buy a business with our financial record?)
You mark my words, L.F.C. will be concentrating on getting the sale of the club wrapped up, then come january David Villa will sign for L.F.C. due to torres, rafa & the rest of the spanish team being there, Valencia will have had him to kick start their season and will have the option of taking younger players on loan to keep them challenging for europe!
Without the hot headed rants it makes sense both business wise and football wise, I seriously hope its not everton bought out but my gut feeling tells me otherwise!!!
I also feel that our beloved Alonso will be heading back to spain very soon.
I get to see the list for visitors to the new Cardiff City stadium and visiting tomorrow are Brian Stock, Kalu Uche (who I had to google)and Gary Bailey of Hampstead Castle sport agency ???
I spend most of my time in the UAE, and back in May I did post the rumour about few DIC board members still interested in Liverpool, however it seems they are still not willing to meet the un–realistic valuation set by H&G , because of their interest no one else from the area will make a move on Liverpool , I do n’t know which club Sheikh Ahmed bin Saqr al–Qassimi have put money into, the rumours in the UAE is a London based club, we can discount Chelsea for obvious reasons and in Arsenal is another Russian billionaire who would n’t let any one else buy majority holding, the culture and back ground of spurs won't suit someone from the middle east (and vice versa I guess) … so if I am putting money on it , I would think Fulham .

ASTON VILLA Rumours: Martin O'Neill has realised that letting Barry go was a huge mistake, and will hamper there chances of becoming a "top 4" club greatly. He's realised that he now has to firstly strenthen the defence, sign a couple of central midfielders and sign at least one proven goal scorer type striker.

B.Fridiel

Wes Brown (£5 mil)
J.Lescott (p/e S.Petrov, J.Milner, S.Sidwell)
M.Upson (5 mil + Zat Knight)
L.Baines/Royston Drenthe (£10 or p/e for players)
M.Richards (Back up defender) (7 mil)

A.Young
W.Palacios (£15 mil or p/e for players)
Ronaldinho (£15 – 25 mil)
R.Van Der Vart (Barry's replacement) (£10 mil)
G.Agbonglahor

KJ.Huntelaar (£17 mil)

The owners will be happy as long as no more than £40 mil is spent, that's why MON will allow for a lot of p/e deals to take place to get the players he needs.
I have read a few postings on here concerning spanish investment into lfc. This is relatively new news, but one which is growing in momentum here in liverpool.
The latest is that the current owners cannot agree to sell the club to any one buyer, but they will consider investment into the club for a part ownership. My thoughts are that this could be that either hicks may sell his share entirely or both hicks & gillett sell a small percentage of their shares. Either way gillett will not (unfortunately) walk away from the club.
Exact details of the spanish investment group is still not available, but it is believed to include media companys. The recent re–structure at top level at LFC with a spanish speaking md justifys that the currect owners will be taking a back seat to allow the new investors to work with the new md. News of this imminent investment has been growing over the past few weeks and it is belived that a statement will be released in early july.

To the guy who mentioned sol campbell moving to the north east,it was in the Sunday sun(local sunday rag) 2 weeks ago that Sol and his partner had purchased a mansion/castle up in northumberland ready for him to move into when he retires. .dont think the move is football related
  To Jonny Web

Dude the floatation news about liverpool fc was in 2000, when granada had a stake in us, this is seriously old news so do not fret. It looks like dumb and dumber have refinanced, and are here for a while so we should just back them, better the devil you know.
However Hicks has always said that he would never sell his shares and would only sell part of his shares to any investor, as you see Liverpool FC do make money, its just that these two dudes have come and saddled a debt on us. but this is the same with the other topfour teams also.

Rumours: No D.Villa, staying in spain with wife and new baby, Augero maybe depends if mascherano stays, Owen only if no one else comes, but would be a good signing, 30 goals in 75 games even though he was injured. Micah richards i know his agent Chris Nathaniel he is being tight lipped about it, but there are a few offers from various clubs, plus man city have a lot of money so wages is not a problem.

AFC Arsenal are on the verge of agreeing a deal to sign Luc Castaignos from Feyenoord. The deal will be for £4million with Castaignos remaining at Feyenoord for one more season.
Dont mean to make a racist issue here, but it seems unlikely an arab would make an investment that would result in co–ownership with a jewish owner. I am obviously talking about the "supposed" takeover at spurs.

I personally have no racial issues, so don't shoot the messenger for making a fair point.
Robert Green is trying to move to one of the bigger london clubs, but saying he loves West Ham still as he does not want the fans to turn on him or ruin his image to the England boss. He is sick of the hammers keep signing players from abroad. This is from a source who spends nights with Green in his penthouse.

You heard it here first
  Fabregas Will NOT leave Arsenal

Higuain will NOT leave Real Madrid

Adebayor will NOT leave Arsenal

Pato will NOT leave Milan

Silva will NOT leave Valencia

Real Madrid have given up the chase 4 David Villa and Barca are considering selling Eto'o and buying Villa this, however is unlikely as Guardiola would loathe 2 lose Eto'o, while Valencia have done a U–turn on their decision 2 sell Villa

Real Madrid are in advanced talks with Raul Albiol with a 15 million fee being agreed. They remain favourites 4 Ribery as he has now declared that should he move away from Bayern it will almost certainly b 2 Madrid. Perez remains keen on Xabi Alonso and Alvaro Arbeloa.

Barca's top target will b Mascherano as both Keita and Toure will b at the Africa Cup of Nations next January, they are close 2 signing Deportivo's Filipe Luis. Robinho's interest in joining Barca has piqued their interst while they may decide between keeping Eto'o or signing Ibrahimovic or Villa.

Man Utd are interested in Brazilian pair Nilmar (Internacional) and Douglas Costa (Gremio) both clubs are demanding 20 million. Whilst SAF is willing 2 pay 4 Nilmar he believes that Costa is only worth around 10 million. Deal 4 Corinthains Dodo is done and he will join up during pre–season. While an agreement 4 Valencia is close with a 17–18 million fee being agreed. Their attempts 4 Benzema may b in vain as he wants 2 stay in France 4 another season.

Arsenal remain strongly in the hunt 4 Felipe Melo however they are only willing 2 pay 10 million + Senderos while Fiorentina want 15+Senderos. Inter remain very interested. Gohkan Inler, Miguel Veloso and Thomas Hitzelsperger are on the short–list as well. Arsenal are still in the hunt 4 Mamadou Sakho and are willing 2 offer 8 million + Silvestre which may b looked on favourably by PSG. A deal 4 Fulham's Brede Hangeland has stalled as Fulham want 15–20 million while AW is only willing 2 offer 8 million + the loan of Gibbs/Traore.

Chelsea are set 2 miss out on Ribery and Villa but are expected 2 sign Daniel Sturridge (whose fee will b determined by a tribunal) and Yuri Zhirkov who will cost around 18 million. Deals 4 Deco and Carvalho 2 go to Inter are being finalised with Bruno Alves or Philipe Mexes being lined up as replacements 4 Carvalho while Stephane Sessengon could b the replacement 4 Deco.

Liverpool will sign a striker 2 complement Torres Benitez has shortlisted Tuncay and Alvaro Negredo.

Inter Milan initially rejected to sell their best player but the huge offer from Sir Alex Ferguson made them agree. Though the transfer amount is unknown yet but it's around 65 million euro.

Nobody has any idea about the 60% that has been bought especially in light of the fact this was posted on WAM news (middle East news paper today)

WAM Ras Al Khaimah, Jun 23rd, 2009 (WAM): Chairman of the Ras Al Khaimah Customs and Ports Department Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saqr Al Qasimi denied media reports suggesting that he has acquired 60 percent of an unnamed leading Premier League football club.
  Breaking news in Anfield!!!
Liverpool have accepted a £20m plus Bojan Krkic and Toure Yaya bid for Javier Mascherano. Mascherano never wanted leave but his wife threatened divorce so he is actually leaving for family reasons, other than that, he was happy on Merseyside. Xabi Alonso will not leave and will make a new partnershhip with Toure Yaya in midfield. Glen Johnson will be revealed to the media on Friday and will wear number 4 but will move to number 2 if Dossena leaves. Rafa will be making another transfer in David Silva for £25m, breaking Liverpool's transfer record. Steven Defour will be brought in for back–up and could also break into the first team for £13m
Aguero will sign for utd . Melo will sign for arsenal along with hopefully cana . . I think that if arsenal sign the right players we will be genuine contenders this season along with chelsea and utd . As for liverpool major over achivers last season so don't expect the same for the next 100 years . . Wenger is a hero!.
"fresh off the vine" heinz to join Spurs, Aguero to be a Red by July (hot off the spanish press), Benzema to be at man U in a week. Eto looks to be on his way to premier league. . Man C & Liverpool main interest

  NOTTINGHAM FOREST UPDATE

Got some clarification on the two confirmed deals from earlier this week. Done deals as far as source is concerned are:
Westwood
Adebola
Blackstock
Camp
Mills
Jones
McGoldrick

McKenna is stalling for more money. Talks with Gunter have broken down as he's looking for Prem football within a number of years and BD won't guarantee it and isn't willing to put a minimum fee release clause in his contract. Gunter is still keen to join on loan though so watch this space. My source has heard nothing at all about Barker and his assumption is that our enquiry has gone no further and Joe Mattock at Leicester has become Billy's number one choice at left back.

McSheffery, Anderson, De Silva etc are all pie in the sky at the moment, although enquiries have certainly been made for the first two.
Gerrard is never going to leave Liverpool as he has stated himself.A league winners medal from somewhere else would mean nothing compared to one he may win at Liverpool.

As for a real rumour. Sol Campbell will sign for Aston Villa.

+PR+
I like it how all the LFC fans think they have about £150m to spend on players and can get Aguero, Silva, Villa and Eto'o!!!
Anyway, Liverpool to sign Johnson (done but I'll say it anyway), Bojan (I think on loan but hey, who actually knows on this website what goes on). They will sell either Alonso or Mascherano and they will bring in a player similar to the one they sell.
Chelsea are gonna spend, they'll go for Eto'o or Ibrahimovic and might make another bid for Robinho. They might buy Quaresma, but he didn't play much lasts season so who knows. They will sell a few of their older players, but one big name that might go is Essien (although I doubt it) if he goes they will bid for De Rossi.
United to sign Silva, Valencia, Dodo, Costa and Guilherme (young, very talented Brazilian striker, plays for Cruzerio). They will sell Park, Nani (possible swap deal for Moutinho/Veloso), Berba and maybe even Carrick (but if they sel him they will buy De Rossi). They may also make cheeky bids for Essien and Villa/Luis Fabiano. The reason I don't think United will sign a big name proven goalscorer is, simply, they have Rooney and he has proven he can score goals when played in the right position, Fergie may now base the team around Rooney instead of Ronaldo
Remember me with the glen johnson rumour?

Just been to the Sunderland training ground, The Academy of Light and seen none other than Didier Zakora, Darren Bent and . . .wait for it. . ROMAN PAVLYUCHENKO being shown around by chief exec. Simon Walton and academy director Kevin Ball. Exciting times ahead lads!!!
With the entire buzz around how Sir AF will spend the 80 mil from CR deal, we united fans have seen it all in the last few yrs with a number of biggggg stars being linked with MUFC. Seldom have these rumors come true and I personally think Sir AF doesn’t believe in bringing in bigggg stars with their EGO.

So most likely we might land up one maybe two players (Klass Huntelar I hope)from Real (swap + money for CR) and one rising star from a smaller club (Valencia. I just hope we act quick else we will end up paying dear (30 mil for Berba and 20 odd mill for Veron) 

Keep guessing!!!!

Tottenham are apparently the club being taken over by Arabs.
Joe Lewis owns 60% of tottenham and The arabs are buying 60% of a Premier league side. There has been loads of Activity on the Tottenham Stock Exchange and a lot of "Delayed publication until requested", meaning the consortium buying those shares do not want to be identified as of yet. It also could be the reason why the Transfers at Tottenham have all of a sudden become quiet, Harry knew the players he wanted so why hasn't he made offers for them yet?
To the guy who was talking about Felliani going to Arsenal. .I am an Everton fan and to be honest would be well up for Felliani leaving, i think he is a top player and love im to bits, but we would easy get atleast 17m for him (considering how he has proved himself and how much we paid) for this, we could easy get defour to cover that position and then moutinho for the more classy type of player, with a midfield consisting of moutinho, Defour, Mikky and Peanuts (Piennar) we would very well be looking and pushing the top 4 especially if we keep hold of Lescott and get the Yak back firing on all Cylinders.

  To whoever wrote this
Villa have to sign atleast 8 players to continue to challenge the top 4 strongley, i am no insider and my brothers cousins friends mothers auntie doesn't kno anyone but i would suggest these are the players MON signs; Richards(8 million), Lescott (15 million), M.Johnson(8 million), Huddlestone (5.5 million), Jeans (8 million), Bentley (8 million), A.Johnson (3.5 million)and then Owen (free) these players are essential if villa are to challenge the top 4 again. Btw does anyone have any news on the villa captain?

i see where your getting but one thing why would we buy 3 centre mids
i think that villa need to sign
Richards
Hudllestone or M Johnson or both maybe
Bentley ( i disagreed with this but now i think its a good move )
Fabio Da s ilva ( on loan )
Owen or a proven goalscorer

and a coupal of sqaud players
Why are there at least half a dozen Celtic fans on here every day, posting that Marc–Antoine Fortune is going to sign for £2.5m ? It's on every footie site in Britain, that AS Nancy have already said that they have three bids from English Premier League clubs, all at over £4m and that Celtic are refusing to match it, you're not even in the running on this one anymore.
  Arsenal outs:
Eboue 8 million Dont care who as long as he is gone
Adebayor 25 million Ac Milan
Gallas PSG
Senderous p/ex
Silvestre 1 million Again don't care who to

Forest are close to confirming deals for Joel Lynch and David McGoldrick (This has been held up by trouble at the Saints but he's desperate to join even if they are rescued). Rob Jones is still on the radar despite various reports. A deal is imminent for Mills from Donny they were hoping to spark a bidding war which has not materialised so Forest will get there man pending personal terms and how the transfer payment is structured but am informed this won't be a problem. Not heard anything on Camp, Anderson, Barker, Gunter, Blackstock, McKenna, McSheffrey but these are only names that have been banded about in the media. Forest are looking at other deals also but are keeping things schtum.
My boss was on a plane down to london last week and he sat next to robbie savage who told him that the valencia to man united deal was done for 15–17 million.

also expected is a huge signing for liverpool by the start of next week either villa or silva rafa will only go for villa if he can shift masch or alonso
To the guy that wrote this:

With Livingston facing a financial meltdown, due to the mis–management of owner Angelo Massone, expect the following players to leave shortly:

Cameron MacDonald – either Macclesfield Town or Grimsby
Liam Fox – Northampton Town
Chris Innes – Notts. County or Lincoln City
Roddy McKenzie – Rotherham Utd.
Murray Davidson – Hartlepool Utd.
Armand One – Torquay United (as replacement for Matt Green)
Leigh Griffiths – Coventry or Cardiff City
Anthony McParland – Northampton Town
David Mackay – St. Mirren

What are you on? Yeah some of these players maybe trying to get out because of the state of the club but none of them will be passing on any rumours on as the owner will sack anyone who speaks to the press. I have just spoken to one of the players on your list and he has no intention of moving nor has he recieved any bids.

And to all the other posters can you please stop repeating rumours you see in the papers, we've all already read them!

  HOLD THE BACK PAGE!!!!!

The Sheik that has bought a 60% stake in a club, has earmarked 50 million for DAVID MOYES to spend! yes that's right, Everton are the team involved with the arabs! Mr Moyes will be revelling in the fact that he can go for top, top quality players this season and try to gatecrash the big 4. The only 2 players I know will be coming in are Kyle Naughton, and Steven Defour.

THE CRILLMEISTER GENERAL
I have just returned from a weekend in Barcelona in which i toured the Nou Camp.
The word is Samuel Eto is on his way to Liverpool fc to play alongside Torres AND Athletico Madrid have accepted a 32.5m offer from lIverpool for Sergio Aguero.
Its all over the radio stations in spain.
Just to clear things up, No one is leaving everton this summer. Moyes isn't the time to sell big players and in his 7 years Rooney was sold for £30m. Lescott has said he wants to stay and the only people i can see going in Tony Hibbet and Big Vic. Cahill, Fellani, Yobo and Howard (who by the way have boath just signed new 5 year deals)are not going anywere

Efc ins: Steven Defore – £12.5M
Stephan M'bia – £8M
Muntinioh – £16M
Delph – £5M
Kyle Naughton – £4M + Hibbet

And hopefully it has been everton who have been taken over because otherwise were not going any further and Moyes can't keep getting bargins forever
The long protracted deal of Andy Bishop leaving us to join Blackpool is back on.

Blackpool are desperate to boost their squad and it is rumoured that they have bid £300,000 for Bishop.

A bid for Efe from an un–named local club (rumoured to be Oldham) has been turned down flat.

Alan Knill has been a long term admirer of Liam Richardson and due to Accringtons financial problems a knock down bid is in the offing, as is a move for Huddersfield striker Lee Novak on a season long loan.
To the villa fan who said who he thinks villa should sign, i agree with most of them and i would add sefan defour of standard liege and cheeky bids for moutinho , veloso and cahill (why did MON let him go!!)
on the other point, i believe the captain next year is petrov, i think it was part of his contract that he signed. id imagine davies will be vice captain.
jimmy
"Liverpool fans will not like this but apparantly Steven Gerrard has privately expressed his upset over the possibility of Mashcerano leaving for Barcelona. The rumour mill has it that if Javier goes and Liverpool fail to buy big this summer, ending up without a trophy again next year, he will definitely seek the medals he craves elsewhere (probably Real Madrid)."
Thank you peter kay, that really brightend my day up.
Liverpool have alredy got glen johnson so the need for a rite mid is no more, kuyt can play ahead of him an they can over lap etc

About the rumours of a takeover. The journalist writing, saying it's a "leading" premier league club. Don't think about that literally, it's prob the journalist trying to add interest to his story. Also, is the source reliable? That's a proper question, not a rhetorical one.
Arsenal will make a double swoop on VFB Stuttgart for Thomas Hitzlsperger and Sedar Tasci.
