Bristol city will sign Liverpools Danny Wilson on a season long loan before the end of July. Tom Heaton will be unveiled as Citys 3rd summer signing either tomorrow or Thursday.
The Buzsacky deal has stalled, Forrest have opted to look elsewhere but Hull are rumoured to be intrested. Alot of Tom Bradshaw of Shrewsbury rumours floating around as well.

Ed i was wondering if u had any info/gossip on who akos buszacky will be signing for? I'm a bristol city fan and i know we and a few other teams were in for him but the last couple of days alls gone quiet so was wondering if u knew anything. Thanks {Ed001's Note - I was told Cardiff, Sheff Weds and Middlesbrough had all shown interest and spoken to his agent. Not heard anything since myself. Probably just looking over the offers and making a decision, judging by the silence, over the last couple of days.}

West Brom and Sunderland are both interested in Wolfsburg striker Patrick Helmes.
The talented centre-forward has attracted interest from England and Spain with Valencia also eyeing the German International. However Helmes has ruled out a move to Spain and the chairman has insisted Wolfsburg wont be selling the hitman.
Reports suggest that a bid has been knocked back from an English team and are expecting an improved offer.

Michael Hector's loan from Reading to Shrewsbury has gone through this morning.
6 month period, probably an option to extend for the rest of the season if it benefits both parties.
Hector is a good signing. Even better, if it is all season.
Havin seen 15 mins in tonight's friendly against birmingham city looks a very ggod young player with alot of potential.

What a ridiculous statement regarding too many midfielders. In terms of pure central midfielders we have got Mulumbu and now Yacob with Thorne and Allan as younger players in the position. One injury to Mulumbu would've put us in serious trouble as only Dorrans could fill the defensive midfield role.
Mate yacob has replaced scharner mozza can play right or central as can dorrans strength in depth and people who can play in many different positions as with gera he can play right mid or just behind the striker

Sjölund is very respected in sweden... His contract is ending and he said to Swedish media that he can continue in DIF but if something exciting comes he can go elsewhere. He is in the Finland's national team (not a very strong team ;-D) but still it indicates something of his quality... I don't think its so impossible, maybe a january transfer? Sjölund used to be some kind of wonderchild when he was in Liverpool and Westham, but then he did a very good career in Sweden. Maybe a last chance now to go elsewhere so I don't see why not!

I may be wrong (probably), but maybe PR wants to ensure that when there is news he wants to tell us so he can't be deemed as being secretive. I'd rather he did this than no info at all and it can't of been that bad as we would of heard about "Preston's Derisory Bid"(might do on Wednesday). I also think we need to keep things in context both now and in the future. When we were in the championship our crowds were very high teens to low 20's, sometimes, for average league position, ie punching above our weight for years in terms of actual league position compared to crowd income. We can pay bigger wages than Bamber Bridge (but maybe after yesterday we may be signing some of them) but don't expect too much. Just look at Pompy who don't have an Uncle Trev. I know a lot of you don't trust him, but without we may have a new massive Tesco's Extra and PNE New Co playing on Moore Park. I know some will think a Tesco Extra there would be a good thing for all but it could be even worse with a ground share with our new landlords down the 61 Chorley. Give the new bloke a chance and be happy with what we have it's not too long ago we were proper bottom. {Ed003's Note - Surely someone from Preston would know what the park is called...? I have it on good authority that the striker in question is Darius Charles from Stevenage. The hold up in concluding talks has been caused because the player has been in Ireland on a preseason tour.
Its actually moor park you doughnut , the striker is beavon from wycombe 27 goals in 113 apps hardly prolific however compared to the deadly duo of holyroyd and cummins 3 goals in 35 games he looks a world beater . Having said that it would not matter if we had lionel messi in that current team because we create absolutely nothing ever opposing goalie has clean gloves at the end of the game , we need a creative midfielder and a proper striker

Yes we need a defensive midfielder. Only have Johnson as sole specialist defensive midfielder yet even he isn't stictly speaking a defensive mid as he really more of a box to box player who will score the odd goal or two besides getting his foot on the ball in the first place. If we want the capacity to shut a game down or just more domination of possession we need a true defensive mid. 5-6 million buys some real quality i.e. in the Tiote league (before he was discovered that is) . Many teams play with two defensive mids in any case. If we play 1 up top there is no point playing two wingers and 3 utility midfielders if we can find a quality defensive mid with good passing abilities we create a greater capability for more counter attacking play too besides keeping the goal count down in the first place.
Definitely need some beef in there, a defensive mid to give our centre halfs some reassurance

Barnard would do well at this level. He was good for saints in league 1 but off field problems and injuries meant he never got a chance last year. Not sure if he'd have fired in the championship but best of luck to him wherever he ends up.
Bostock may well be a perm rather than a loan, Bostock is patiently waiting for the clubs to agree terms, there has been a bit of a delay due to Spur's change of Manager, the other exciting part of this for Swindon fans is that if it is a perm deal then they will move for Sanchez Watt on loan, PDC and the board had already agreed to bring in one loanee with Bostock the player ear-marked so a perm deal for him opens the door for Watt. As for Barnard he is quite keen on a move to Swindon Town who have been showing an interest for quite a while behind the scenes.
He can only go to one club. Can't see any reason why he wouldn't go to Swindon, another ambitious club with a talented manager.

Burnley are waiting on Steven Fletcher's transfer to Sunderland, as they will be using the sell-on fee they'll receive to fund the deal. However Charlton are willing to pay the £500k now to secure the services of Vokes and Wolves might find that more appealing then waiting on Fletcher's transfer, which is still not a definite.
This is true - I am a Burnley fan and the penny-pinching attitude of the BFC board of directors will see us lose out on Vokes. Tom Tawio will sign for Bradford after Carlisle habe struck a compensation deal belived to be £100k with £50k up front and promotion/apperance based for the rest. Carlisle will also receive 15% of any future transfer fees.
Not according to the T&A this morning, the deal has collapsed over the compensation amount and he has been left at home while City go to Ireland with 2 un-named trialists.
