One last signing will be Adam Lallana from Southhampton for a fee of £3.5m
Just to correct a mistake I earlier put it wasn't Dossena and cash for Lavezzi(as we all know he plays for Lazio) it's for Hamisk.

In response to a previous post, here are the REALISTIC transfer targets and players POSSIBLY joining Cardiff for 2009–10.

OUT: Ross McCormack (Sunderland £4m)
Joe Ledley (Everton £3.5m)
Steve McPhail (Forest £750m)
Paul Parry (Doncaster £500k)
Peter Whittingham (Leicester City £1m)
Kevin McNaughton (Portsmouth – £7m)

INS: Steve Smith (Rangers – Free)
Liam Miller (exchange from Sunderland)
James Perch (exchange from Forest)
Victor Anichebe (season loan from Everton)
Brian Stock (exchange from Doncaster)
Charlie Adam (Rangers – Nominal)
Lewis Stevenson (Hibernian £2m)
Dietmar Hamman (Unattatched – Free)

PR will tell DJ that more money will have to come into the club than go out this transfer window, as Cardiff will need to ease their debt burden.

If Hamman signs, he will become club captain.

Van der Meyde will be offered a trial at Cardiff, but he is also attracting attention from Plymouth Argyle, Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds United.

Patrik Berger will not be a Bluebird as he's finishing his career in the Czech Republic.

  Arsenal transfer update –
ins:
Thomas Vermaelen (£10m) – done deal
Micah Richards (swap deal)
Klaas Jan Huntelaar (£15m)
outs:
Emmanuel Adebayor (£25m) – done deal
Kolo Toure (swap deal – £3m + Micah Richards)
With John Terry looking set to stay with Chelsea and Everton refusing to sell Joleon Lescott, Man City will move in for their third choice centre back target – Kolo Toure. This will require a fee of around £10m, or a swap deal with £3m + Micah Richards going in Arsenal's direction. Wenger may be keen on the swap deal, as he is a keen admirer of Richards, who would give us some much needed physical strength and height at the back, and would be a ready made replacement to play alongside Vermaelen. Wenger is poised to make a £15m swoop for Real Madrid foward Klaas Jan Huntelaar, who's move to Stuttgart has been scrapped, and is also attracting attention from Spurs. However the promise of Champions League football will see the Dutchman prefer a move to the Emirates, who was dissapointed by being left out of Real's champions league squad last season.

In Arsene We Trust
Liverpool to have new major investment

gillett is selling his stake in lfc tom hicks is reducing his stake to 40% with investment coming from the uae tom hicks will stay and biuld that sucker the stadium cos hes the best in the business at building them
My mate was in a brumy Club at the end of June and bumped into Pennent who informed him that he hated pompey and was going to spain, old news I know but the interesting thing is he mentioned about Aberloa and Alonso going to Madrid and apparently Real have been in talks with Liverpool for months and this is the real reason Carra lost it with them both. Arbeloa had been boasting in training about moving to a bigger club and got lazy in that game when Carra nearly punched him (he should of!!) and Alonso felt he needed to get involved after the game to defend his mates actions. The major rift in the club which is being documented is only between these two and the squad. Hence why Rafa wants rid but only at the right price!!

My mate asked who was coming in but pennent had no idea as Rafa never discusses the players coming in, so as to keep the squad on there toes.

you didn't hear this from me, you heard it from pennent

The Black hat
Have it on good authority that celtic have signed

Cech – Lb from WBA and Cox from Coventry

Deals done b4 11pm tonight ( thursday )

IN TONY WE TRUST
A source close to the club has informed me that Notts County are in talks with Flora of Estonia's Keeper Mihkel Aksalu and midfielder Martin Vunk.
  MAN CITY

My mates dad worked with gary cook at nike and was on the phone to him today in south africa talking about all the money and the signings city had bought. Apparently cook said that if city were not top four by november the ex–real madrid manager vicente del bosque is being lined up with ex–real fernando redondo as assistant at christmas and will sanction a £200m spending spree!!
To the guy who thinks danny wellbeck could go to blackpool on a season long loan, well saf has stated that wellbeck could be the surprise package for englands world cup squad and i don't feel blackpool would be the place to make a go of it from.
if wellbeck goes on a season loan it will be at a pl club with wigan and stoke possibilities. saf will only allow this to happen though if he brings in another striker which could add further reason to believe that the arrival of villa could be imminent.
saf will then end his acquisitions for the year unless yaya toure becomes available or if essien gets the wish he so desires with a move to ot.
other moves that are in the pipeline include christian poulsen moving to arsenal, tuncay to liverpool along with catermole once alonso goes, lescott to man city and pirlo to chelsea which could force the essien move through.
Man u 2sign esien and aguero in last week of window
Eidur Gudjohnsen was nowhere near Lennox Town last night nor was Sylvinho. Gudjohnsen will want at least 50k a week wherever he goes and Sylvinho is too old now to play left back at 35 and was wanted by Gordon Strachan. Mowbray has so far refused to sign any targets of Strachan's which include Stephen Fletcher, James McCarthy and now Sylvinho. Daniel Fox from Coventry has signed for over £2 mill which leaves Lee Naylor free to go back home. Wolves are interested in taking him back and a bid of 500k will be enough but will face competition from Aston Villa. Mowbray is also interested in signing Leon Best from Coventry for £1 mill. Best has a year left on his contract and has recently won his first Republic of Ireland cap so ticks all the boxes. Mowbray said that he will sign four players and has now signed three. He wants one more striker to play with Fortune. A move for Best will only be considered after Christian Vieri makes up his mind on a move to Celtic Park. After turning down Blackburn Rovers' contract offer, he is waiting to see if Celtic make the Champions League.
In other news, a strange one, is that Walter Smith may make a move for former Rangers and current Celtic reserve goalkeeper Mark Brown for a nominal fee.
SHOOTER
Billy Davies will sign Dean Leacock 1.5 million from Derby County. Elliot Ward 1 million from coventry and bring Andy reid back from sunderland for 2.5 million.
That will be the end of Forests Signings for this summer expect these to be tied up early next week.

FatPostBoy
Nikola Kalinic Hadjuk Split – Pompey $5.65M
Big Liverpool news, Masch and Alonso will both be sold, price 35m each. Masch to Barcelona and Alonso to Real. These deals will happen in the next week. Liverpool will have a further 70m to spend on the 5m they have left, the Rafa hit list which will start next week is as follows. Sneijder 10m, Martinez 10m, Simao 10m, Young 25m leaving a further or so 20m but maybe more if Dosenna and Vooring leave. The big suprise is Trezequet will be a Liverpool player for a very small fee. Liverpool should have about 15m or so to beef up the defence some more with Distin on the way and Hutton from Spurs. Liverpool will be a major force due to the 2 sales and this is the only way Rafa can do it as the owners will not stump up the required cash
  Stoke city

dean ashton and dean whitehead to sign by the end of next week.

i think man utd fans should start to wave the premier league goodbye as your no longer the big team in manchester you will struggle for the top 4 without ronaldo i think its time all the glory hunters at old trafford put a blue shirt on from now on or come to the potteries to watch the future european champions
I can't believe some of the rubbish wrote on here, can anyone else realise that if Mascherano and Alonso leave Liverpool then that will lessen their chances of winning the Prem – even if Aqualani and David Silva are brought in as replacements – I'm sorry but I watch alot of European league football and they are not adequate replacements. Liverpool to sign one winger, one centre–back, and one left–back.

Possible ins:

FW – Franck Ribery
CB – Matthew Upson
LB – Wayne Bridge (doesn't like Man City)

– Justin Knowsmore
Liverpool have just about completed all there deals and over the next week all will become clear rafa has sold all his intended parties but wanted to finalise his incomeing deals first.
silvan distan is not a target just a decoy for his real buy micah richards a £10 million deal has been agreed he will cover both rightback and centreback positions but was held up because of micahs illness lee cattermole will allso arrive £7 million buy wednesday as cover for mascharano who will stay for 1 more year.
both of these deals have not been anounced because rafa has been targeting philip lahm to solve are leftback position as he feels insua needs one more years experiancethis deal for £16 million has now been completed and will allso be announced by wednesday of next week.
rafa will sighn fabian delph for £6 million with jay spearing and kizilieth nemeth going on season loan to leeds.
no right midfielder will be sighned this year as rafa sees glen johnson as kuyts backup.
but the biggest news of all will come on saturday the 1st of august the buys of david silva and david villa will both be realeased in a 55million deal (10million was paid in january 35 million will be paid up front and 10 million over next 2 years.
alonso, dossena, voronin, arbeloa, degan, itandje, and leto, will cover some of the cost.
rubbish your thinking wait and see remember this post
Things to clear up : To the guy who was talking about the Burj Al Arab being sold – unlikely as the Abu Dhabi royal family own a majority stake in it as a result of paying for at least half its construction and it runs at 90% occupancy by the Saudi Royals(pay for the rooms and don't show)who keep it profitable. Man City will not be outspent by any Dubai takeover group if any buy a club ( UNLIKELY) – The Al Nayans are the richest family on the planet and give Dubai a hell of a lot of money and will never allow themselves to be over shadowed by their cousins.

Anyways – Rangers are skint i'm afraid so I don't expect any major signings but don't be suprised if Alan "shagger" McGregor moves south for 5+ million thus allowing Tonel to come in for about 2million – The youth lads to come through!!!

Monty
To the people saying Essien to Man U. This will never happen. I know Michael and he would never move to Man U because of the way he was treated there a number of years ago when he was on trial. He has never forgotten how they made him feel for taking a training shirt without permission. They treated him like a common criminal and I know for a fact he has never forgiven them. Michael does not want to leave Chelsea but they are pushing him out and his agent is in contact with a number of clubs around Europe. He is leaning towards Italy although one of the big teams in Spain also want him.
To the people saying Robinho will not be sold as Man City do not need the money. .It is not for money that he will go but the players wishes. He does not want to stay at the club and had told them he wants to leave. From what I can find out he has been made an offer from a team expecting to be challenging on all fronts THIS season and he has told his agent to make it happen. Cook has told his agent they want at least £50m so all this talk of a £30m bid being accepted is nonsense.
West Ham have not given up on signing Mancini, and a deal for Gudjonnson has been agreed it is now down to personal terms. A couple of German teams are interested in Faubert but are only interested in loan with option to buy deals. Quashie is likely to be heading up the A1 to Notts County, they want him on loan for the season and will pay all his wages. They will them offer him a new contract as he will be a free agent. West Ham are also negotiating with Real Madrid trying to do a deal for Daniel Opare. He is a young right back and although he is only 18 (19 November) he is considered to be a great prospect. Real Madrid are willing to consider a years loan with an option to buy, but with a built in buy back option, a complicated deal that may take a week or two to sort out.
  Notts County to Sign

Scott Rendall
Jack Lester
Seb Carole
Adam Kay

all signed before start of season
  To Red Lenin

I work for a firm of lawyers and have talked this over with a real employment hot shot. The real problem is if the any non UK players have an appearance clause written into their contract then a ruling that would prevent them from playing equates to a restraint of trade. It seems as if its this and not EU employment rules which the big clubs are looking at.
I think that essien is forcint a move 2 old trafford
and utd will sign either david villa or ash young bu the 30th july this will happen
essien is most likely
Looks like the Crouch to Arsenal rumours are picking up some steam. It's funny because Goatface Gary was the first one who said it was going to happen after overhearing Crouch on the phone to Arsene. Everyone laughed at Goatboy then, me included, he talks like a 5 year old! Maybe he was onto something though.

'fox in the box' – stop copying Goatmans rumours like they were your idea, it's embarrassing!

My tip of the week is Alan Smith to Bolton.
–––Balletto–––
Now Big Ross is off Cardiff will enter the race for Ched Evans now Dave will have some money too play with. . I personally think that Leroy Lita is worth a gamble seeing has Dave Jones always brings the best out of strikers. In the midfield Dave will make an attempt to praise away Wayne Routledge. I personally would love to see him and Chris Burke run rings around defences at the new stadium.
I played golf today with an ex Manchester United player (now working for MUTV) who told me that the Ronaldo deal was complete last summer! so Fergie was obviously playing "mind games" when he said he wouldn't "sell that mob a virus". And he told me that fergie is putting up a smoke screen by saying Manchester United will not be signing anymore players! as United will tie up deals for David Villa & Michael Essien upon their return to Manchester next week!! Chelsea will then sign Pirlo & Pato!!

Hello boys and girls, Goatman G here, i've got a new one for you. Again, unlike the Crouch rumour, this one doesn't have any hard evidence, apart from my thinking power.
Obafemi Martins will leave the toon and join Sunderland, i reckon. Sunderland bid 12mil for Crouch but couldn't get him, so theyve got money and want a striker. They wanted Cisse but the exchange rate made him too expensive, so i really think they'll go for Martins. He lives nearby, he's used to the premiership, and he's not a bad striker. Newcastle arent rivals now theyre in league 6 or whatever, and they need the cash quick.

I've got no money left to bet on this, but when i get my winnings from Crouch–Arsenal and Robinho–ManU, i'll bet it all on this. .
Obafemi Martins – Sunderland £9.7
Then I'll buy a car (metro)and a new tank for my goldfish.

–Goatman Gary
