First of all, my information regarding DIC not making an offer for Liverpool is fact. Even Hicks has said he has recieved no offer. It is all speculation with no substance. The rumours are being generated from within Anfield to unsettle the Americans (mostly by ex board members). Believe me, no one would be happier than me to see the back of Hicks, he is nothing more than an arrogant bully with an over inflated ego. However, facts are facts, no offer from DIC and even if there was in the future, I doubt either party would want it made public. As for Sammy Lee, his name is being discussed in a coaching role to replace Pacco, not as manager.
Celtic are to sign Teemu Taino from Tottenham this week, Scott Brown attracting interest from Newcastle boss Kevin keegan, who is likely to bid £8 million for the former Hibernian startlet. Celtic Look to spend the money on a player like Tim Cahill or Andrei Voronin (forward). they are keeping tabs on his situation at Liverpool. they are also looking at the Hammers midfielder Mark Noble who is excited about the prospect of playing FC Barcelona in the Uefa Champions League. Jean Claude Darcheville, Alan Gow, Daniel Cousin to leave Rangers, Darcheville to Pompey for cover due to African Cup of Nations £1.8 million, Cousin To Middlesbourgh/Osasuna for £2 million, Alan Gow To Hibernian, Aberdeen, Falkirk for £300 k.
I have been e–mailing Liverpool Co–Owner Tom Hicks, I told him about my feelings and concerns. I got a reply with an hour. He did not deny a bid from D. I. C but did tell me that fans will enjoy the new stadium this week. and that it will be the plan from the Summer. Not very much detail but final plans must be up coming and that may signify them planning on staying. lets hope not lol
New managers always like to create fantastic rumours about potential signings to raise the hopes of the fans after a sacking. Keegan is doing the same. Richards is out of Newcastles price bracket but he will talk this up. Can you imagine Richards moving to St. James? Why. But Arsenal or Chelsea is different. He would not go to Man United (and City would not sell him) but players and cash interest Sven. Maybe not in January but in the Summer as City will not pay him more than the current offer on the table.
celtic january targets:
Celtic will not b able to offload Balde as Bolton, Middelsborough not willing to pay wages so no more central defenders in. Caldwell and McManus were starting to form a decent partnership last season before Caldwell had the long term injury. Give those two time to get the understanding that provided us with 8 clean sheets out of 20 games played together. However, Polish left back coming, Boruc having given Strachan his blessing, lol. Keegan in for Nakamura and willing to pay £9 million, if it does not happen this month, will in Summer. Mizuno arrives on a free agent in February and rumours that Aiden Mcgeady will be going to Spain are silly, Mizuno is the replacement for Naka when he leaves. Zurawski to leave for £100,000 and Riordan will be let go for £1 million to either Burnley or West Bromwich. That free's up the money for a long – waited arrival of a quality stricker. My source tells me that Alexander Frei of Switzerland will b arriving for £3 million from Dortmund. JVoH to score 20 goals by end of season, McDonald 25 and Frei 10.
Neil Danns has a rejected moves to Cahrlton, N. Forest and a return to Colchester to join Crystal Palace
Coventry City Rumours"

Paul Sheerin (St. Johnstone)
Russel Anderson (Sunderland, loan)
Steve Crawford (Dunfermline)
Michael Hart (Preston)
Steve Lovell (Bordeaux)
Richie Byrne will turn down a new deal as he fancies a crack at the Premier League (Derby and Reading interested)
Leicester will not be signing the Brazilians Roberto Carlos and Rivaldo.
Instead, Holloway will sign players already in England. He will sign David Norris from Plymouth for £2 million and also Coventry forward Kevin Kyle for £5.2 million
I was on the plane going to amsterdam a month ago and Andy van de meyde was also on the flight going to visit a sick family member, when getting a autograph from him I asked him about his situation at Everton and he replied with he will be leaving at the end of next month
to one of the big four watch this move
Mike Ashley has stated there will be an endless pit of money for keegan. before the end of January I have heard that barry robson 1.5 million, barry fergusen £3 million and micheal Carrick £18 million will be brought in to add creativity to the toon's midfield. in the defense Carlos Cuellar 2 million, sol campbell free, van buyten 4 million, micah Richards £11 million are all possible targets. sky sports news informs me that atleast one of the defenders in that list will be at tynside by the end of January. finally my rumour with the most proof behind it is andrei arshavin who could make an £8.5 million pound trip to tynside.love the site.
Lukas Podolski has been told he can leave Bayern on loan until the end of the season. This news has prompted Gordon Strachan to put in a loan offer for the talented forward, and it is likely he will become a Celt in the next week. He is eligible to play in the Champions League tie against FC Barcelona.
Expect Plymouth Argyle to announce signing of Hungarian international on Tuesday after signing on Monday afternoon. Also David Norris not very happy, he left the ground yesterday in a foul mood after the chairman would not make the time to see him.
Man City are the team to spend big this year, with a £15 million bid for Adriano and £13 million bid for Shevchenko, this will support there strong defencifive team with a lot of goals and assists, how do I know this because my brother cuts svens hair at svens house and he disusses his team with him this is the truth
I've heard a rumour that Steve Sidwell will sign next week and also highly rated Darlington left back liam farrell
Leeds United, Billy Davies ex–Derby manager seen driving into elland road car park about 6. 30pm Monday evening this adds more fuel to the Dennis wise taking on a job at Newcastle rumour which is currently doing the rounds
Risse to Villa in the next few days, was not in nthe squad to face Villa, club statement said he was not injured, Heinze shud be his replacement
To the person who suggested West Bromwich hope to complete the loan signing of Linvoy Primus.
Linvoy has his leg in a brace after major surgery in America and will not be playing this season so if the baggies want to pay Pompey for a spectator I would imagine they will be delighted.
Would be surprised to see Richie Hughes head off to the Championship tho. Bramall Lane it is suggested.
Andrew Whing will become Kevin Keegan's first signing rather than David Beckham, the hard tackling defender is available at £3 million.
Liverpool likely to sign Shaun Wright–Phillips to replace jemaine Penant who is on his way out. The deal is expected to be a part exchange deal seeing Alonso leave Liverpool in return for Wright Phillips
Newcastle will sign Dean Ashton for £8 million (certainty)
also in king kevs range are:
Arshavin (7.5 million)
Dunne (6 million)
Campbell (4 million)
Michael Carrick to join in the Summer for £15 mill
Keegan to offer £16 million for Joe Cole. Modric will replace Cole at Chelsea. Ashton also heading to SJP to be replaced by Bent. Dunne is not going anywhere it is Richards who will be making the journey north makinf him a very Rich lad indeed in the process. Only Chelsea will be able to match the silly wages being offered yet again at Newcastle. If he fails he will attempt to sign Chimonda for £7 million, cover for left and right back and Metzelder on loan. Also he would like to bring Luke Varney £2.5 million in to build up for the future as he wished to have a Shearer/Ferdinand partnership as an option with Ashton.
I am the one that told you yesterday that the yanks did not get there loan and what you know today it becomes public knowledge in the times and many other respectable media companys. the Americans have now seen that they need to start tlking to DIC before the lose a heck of a lot of money to the bankyou might be thinkin but they loaned the money from the bank so but lets not forget they have been £30 million a month over the last few months and cannot afford to do that anymore hence the salewhat may be a surprise to LFC fans though is that DIC may get a new manager in instead of Rafa after all.the reasons are Rafa is interested in going back to Spain and is more than likly to when FC Barcelona or Madrid coming looking for him in the Summer and also DIC are very good professional busnismen and they feel that although the Americans where wrong for what they have done and Rafa should of talked to the owners. they believe he shouldnt of talked to the press about it and they feel that Rafa making it public knowledge has made the media consintly ask players and staff about the situation and this has now affected the club on the field.they feel that is incredibly un professional and has only heaped more pressure on the players. hence benetiz a month ago said he wanted to be friends with the owners this was him tryin to show DIC he can act professionaly bt they are still not convinced after speaking to ex assistant Paco (more on that later on in the post). they have a number of managers in mind but most likly is Jose Mourinhoother names mentioned are the Lazio coach also Ancelloti of AC Milan and one other surprising one is benetiz assistant Paco. Paco has the same view as DIC that benetiz acted un professional hence he leftHowever it is Mourinho who is basically been offered the job come Summer hence he has not took up jobs with munich, newscatle, inter or AC Milanone agreement between DIC and Mourinho is that Mourinho had to stay quite on the matter as DIC did not want the players even more distracted. hence we all have not heard from MR Mourinho in the press since he left Chelsea. basically DIC will take over and benetiz has got til the end of season or he's goneknowin Liverpool though they will probly go one and win Champions League
Hey Newcastle fans, Mike here.
Well I do not usualy do this but kev's just completed a £16 million tranfer fee for Berbetov from Tottenham. You lot are the first to here about this so spread the word, even though it will spread quick enough. Kev is also in talks with Aaron Lennon (14 million) and Micha Richards (26 million) and this deal will be finalised very soon.
To celabrate FREE DRINKS AT SHEARER's BAR all night from 6
Marcel Seip's agent Soren Lerby is seen in a restaurant in London talking with representatives of Charlton Athletic. The recent injury reports about Seip might be a smoke–screen prior to a transfer. It is said that Charlton are preparing a £1.5 million pound bid for the PAfc Dutch centre–back.
Heard from a reliable source there are 3 major transfers between English and Spanish clubs in the Summer 1) Christano Ronaldo to Real Madrid 2) David Villa to Liverpool 3) Casillas to Man United as part of the first deal IN jANUARY THERE will BE not MUCH MOVEMENT as the real top four are in the Champions League and cannot buy cup tied players before you bitters start talking about them being fourth remember this season Wigan were first and Man United were 12 at one stage judge it at the end of the season
Celtic to sign Barry Robson from DundeeUnited, and Polish left–back Seweryn Gancarczyk from Metalist Kharkiv and also American 'keeper Brad Guzan.
Aiden McGeady has been linked woth an £8 million pound move to Tottenham, personally I cannot see this happening.
As for Richard Dunne from ManCity I would not touch him, too slow for a start
Norwich will complete the signings of Collins John (loan with view to buy), Emmerson Boyce from Wigan (800 k) as a deal for Martin Taylor has fallen through and young Liverpool defender Lee Peltier for a nominal fee.
Out of the door will go Simon Lappin to Motherwell and Chris Martin and Micky Spillane to Huddersfield on loan for the rest of the season. Young winger Robert Eagle is wanted by Grays.
Much of Liverpool's future depends on whether the Americans get their loan. if they do the Americans will stay. if they do not rbs the bank they hope to get their loan from will apply pressure on yanks to sell. the most likely bidders being DIC as Liverpool will be available for a lesser price than 500 million. if the takeover goes ahead Rafa will stay and look to sign
villa – 25–35 million
silva – 15–20 million
garay– 8–12 million
Van Der Vaart– 12–18 million
Mascherano– £17 million
Quaresma – 15–25 million
not all will go ahead but these a Rafas targets
out will be Kuyt, Sissoko, Voronin, Riise, Pennant and other reserve team players
With all the rumours coming out of Anfield a close friend of the family has heard there is a strong chance of the following.
Anfield Inns and Outs: –
13yr old Youngster Fran Hirst from Norwegian club Lyn Oslo highly rated pacey CB.
Villa/Huntelaar CF – Kuyt and Vorinin to be offloaded to fund transfer. Benitez Will only sell Crouch as last resort as he is a fan of what he offers.
still looking for long term replacement for Kewell and Pennant
Ashley young and possibility of Quaresma but he did not impress at Anfield in the Champions League so Benitez unsure how he will adapt for RW/LW
Nasri CM – Sissoko to be offloaded
Benitez keen about bringing wingers to the club main priority for Summer transfer window as he made his team around wingers when at Valencia.
More developments to be expected if new owners take over, as is already apparent.
Close contact is well aquainted with football agent and sports journo. These are going to happen most probably before the January window closes, ut are dependendent on players agreeing certain moves or some, part or all of the chain will break,
In Darren Fletcher (loan) cover for Kevin Thomson
Out Alan Hutton to Man United, (large fee) part of the same deal.
Out Thomas Buffel to Birmingham, fee, £1 million.
Out Daniel Cousin to Fulham, £3 million however the Hammers are monitoring the deal if Dean Ashton goes to Newcastle.
With the money brought in for the sale of Hutton, Buffel and Cousin, expect Walter to net only half of that (7 million) and it is expected he is signing Like Moore and an experienced forward who will guarantee 15 goals for the remainder of the season.
In Christian Dailly, a signing for afee, not a loan from the Hammers.
Out Roy Carroll, free to Derby.
This all pales into insignificance however with a Gazzaesque signing of great magnitude, David Beckham to Rangers, on loan for the remainder of the season.
