An extra team will be moved up from either the Conference North/South (via an extra play–off game to be played possibly at The Britannia Stadium in May).

Extra teams will also be moved up from the Southern League, Isthmian League & Unibond League so that the league tables are balanced for next season.

Truth about david silva and david villa:–
They both have joined man united. The contracts were signed last summer and the deal was such that united would pay valencia the money in january so that united could publish profits on their yearly financial dealings and make their bonds more attractive. A meeting was held in valencia with barcelona real madrid chelsea liverpool and man united by the valencia board of directors. real and barca did not want to buy them as they had already focussed their attentions on ronaldo kaka and ibrahimovic. valencia wanted to sell them both out but real and chelsea wanted to buy only villa. hence they pulled out. Real then went to buy benezma and chelsea pursued aguero.after united failed to sign benzema United pushed through with a combined 55mil offer with the mentioned payment schedule.this is the reason that valencia's new stadium plans which appeared to have stalled due to cash crisis are still underway as united have paid them the 55 mil, this is how they raised cash miraculously. The deal was profitable for both the clubs as valencia could challenge for a champions lg spot and raise urther cash from shirt sales.Real's target for this season is franck ribery and the deal was also agreed last summer but they let ribery stay for another ear as injury would mean he missed almost half the season, while barca are pursuing fabregas and a lot depends on arsenal winning a trophy this season or not.Real and barca have managed the spanish press from announcing this b giving them hints about ribery and fabregas and it is no secret that the english press has absolutely no inside info on any transfer dealings.

Could you please tell us were you got your sources or how you know about this. I am a massive Manchester United fan and would love it to happen. There is also reports we bid for Di Maria do you know about that? All before some scouser or chelski fan starts to say we have no money Gill spend we had 100 million or more to spend.
Thanks Devils–4–life

Rangers news:

Bougherra to West Ham in the summer £6 million.

"Cashley Cole to Man United. With Evra joining Arsenal and Clichy will join Barcelona"

Have you not watched football for the last 3 years? Why would Utd sell Evra for anyone, let alone a lyingt, money–grabbig piece of sht? Also Arsenal would never go for Evra after the way he has humiliated them in public.

Utd will complete the signing of Di Maria after securing first refusal on him in Jan. That is why he rejected a 38m move to City after Benfica accepted the cash offer. Utd will also sign a striker after shipping out Owen.

23 Feb 2010 16:47:34
Sunderland manager Steve Bruce is set to make a £5million for Leicester's Matty Fryatt to sign in the summer.

23 Feb 2010 16:54:16
Speaking to a relative highly involved with AC Roma in Italy he announced to me that former International defender Christian Pannuci was to leave Parma. He also said that Pannuci was leaving due to no contract being on offer after this summer and that another club ( from Scotland ) were interested in taking on board his contract with the offer of another year should he reach a number of games.

Considering that only one Scottish club could afford to pay out his potential salary and that the same club is in the middle of a defensive crisis due to injuries and suspensions I firmly believe that this is Glasgow Celtic.

Please believe me when I say that although this is only from a dear friend – he did say that Panucci was leaving Parma last week and now this week it has been confirmed as so. I have no reason to disbelieve.

Come the summer mowbray will still be manager as it would take too much to pay him off.

team will look like this:
4–3–3

GK boruc/zaluska/cervi
RB caddis/nagatomo
CB hooiveld/st.ledger/o'dea/rogne
LB l.wallace/misun
CM brown/ki/crosas/nguemo/zhi/koren
RW mcgeady/kamara
LW maloney/mcginn
ST rasmussen/fortune/stokes/sheridan/mcgowan

INS
nagatomo–seen as a player to fill gap until caddis turns into a proper right back
st.ledger–dream move to celtic turned down by manager. will hand in transfer request and eventually get move he wants.
l.wallace–seen as a left back who plays mowbrays style, deal already in place for a summer switch. concluded in january transfer window.
n'guemo–signed permanently.
koren–played under mowbray at west brom, mowbray tried to get him in january nut failed. will get his man in summer.
kamara–signed permanently–intelligent player.
stokes–good season at hibs, moybray likes style of play.
sheridan–return from loan at st.johnstone, improved vastly at plymouth and will continue development at st.johnstone then will be promoted to the bench and after a season or two will be a starting regular.
OUTS
hinkel–wants back to germany–(hertha berlin)
naylor–going anyway
mcmanus–no way back for him at celtic.
m.wilson–sold to another scottish team celtic career came to end after injury.
braafheid–loan ends.
loovens–too stupid a player to fit into mowbrays consensus.
mccourt–sold back to irish team he came from.
mizuno–career never really took off at celtic.
samaras–doesnt score enough–more of a defender than a striker.
and finally robbie keane

he will NEVER sign permanently for celtic becoz of the state of scottish football, he only joined as a means of getting back into spurs team and to play for his boyhood heroes.

STRONG RUMOUR ive heard.
Cashley Cole to Man United. With Evra joining Arsenal and Clichy will join Barcelona.

No chance! Arsenal wouldn't pay Utd for Evra, there's very little between him and Clichy so why sell one to buy the other? As for Cole – no way will he move to Utd, if he can't stay in London he'll be off to Real quicker than you can say 'My wife is very angry'

Literally just heard an incredible rumour regarding my beloved Chelsea (season ticket–holder for 15 years+, so no I am not a "new" fan). I was chatting with a former colleague of mine who is a Russian analyst for one of the "big banks" in the city. The rumour that seems to be gaining pace with incrdible speed is that Roman Abramovic has fallen out of love with the London club, mainly due to the recent "actions" of his playing staff. He is apparently fed up with bank–rolling ungrateful, unprofessional players whose morals are, shall we say, dubious. It is understood he is hawking the club around Asia (India mainly by all accounts) to facilitate a quick exit.

I have no idea what this means for the medium/long term, but the stability Chelsea have been fortunate enough to enjoy, is well and truly over. If I'm honest, I can't work out whether I'm happy or sad about the news. Deep down I think we always knew this would be short–term, but it's been fun

23 Feb 2010 13:53:26
How many people are saying Milos Krasic is available on a free? The guy is under contract for a while, and CSKA Moscow value him highly. No–one will be getting Milos for free nor cheap. His first choice is Real Madrid, and he has said he'd rather Spain and Italy over England.

Stop posting such garbage, because you dream of him. He's not on a free!

23 Feb 2010 12:57:39
MAN UTD NEWS:
coming in in the summers will be Milos Krasic on a free, Jack Rodwell for between 12–18mill with add ons, Manuel Neuer for between 8–12mill, and lastly Luis Fabiano or Edin Dzeko for around the 18mill mark. leaving will be Berbatov for around 18–20mill, Foster for around 5–8mill and Anderson for between 12–16mill. this raises around 35–40mill plus the usual 20mill budget means united will actually revamp the squad for next to nothing. Vidic will be staying. and the Evra to Arsewipe rumour made me laugh. lol

23 Feb 2010 13:11:45
Alan Curbishly will be Spurs manager at the start of next season as Harry Rednapp gets let out on Parole

Listen Liverpool fans, there will be no Silva, Villa, etc. I'm a scouse and always will be. If things don't improve then Torres may leave.

The board have given Rafa the decision whether he stays or goes. If Liverpool reach the top four, then he'll stay. If not, Juventus he'll go.

We'll have £20m + sales.

Ins and Outs:

In:
Taye Taiwo/Aleksandr Kolarov – £12, 000,000/£6, 500,000
Simon Kjaer (Palermo, £10,000,000)
Juan Manuel Mata (Valencia, £20,000,000)

Out:
Fabio Aurelio (Lyon or Flamengo, Free)
Martin Skrtel (Juventus, £8, 500,000)
Lucas (Atletico Madrid, £7, 000,000)
Ryan Babel (Bayern Munich, £10,000,000)
Alberto Aquilani (Roma, we still owe them money, so they'll wipe the debt out and give us Riise)

23 Feb 2010 13:16:00
Rumours are that Joe Hart is on his way to west ham! Personally, it will be sad to see green go but Hart is young and a good prospect.
I also have been informed that Upson will be leaving, his most likely destination Man City. I recon he will be used in a deal for Joe Hart.

23 Feb 2010 13:21:52
100 mil for fabregas?are you crazy?
fabrgas will go for 45–50 mil.Barca is not crazy to invest 100 mil for one player
villa and silva to barca for 55 mil also azpilicueta for 11 mil

23 Feb 2010 12:48:58
I have heard that Joe Cole is using a free transfer to Man United as a weapon to get his last mega money contract with Chelsea, but what amazes me is if Chelsea are interested in Hamsik, Aguero & Di Maria that the papers are suggesting, if that is indeed true then you have got to say that Joe is not going to be part of Ancellotti's future plans so this could get exciting in the coming months, but you cannot rule out Chelsea extending his contract just to stop him going to a rival team and keeping him mainly on the bench, that is what i would do, especially as he is exactly what Man United need!

imagine this! And it wouldn't cost the manks a penny!

Colchester United/West Ham United news

Colchester United owner Robbie Cowling has been contactedat high level by the Sullivan?gold partnership at West Ham to invest some of his substantial wealth into the Hammers. Many will recall that Cowling's business Jobserve were previous shirt sponsors of West Ham.

As a life–long supporter of West Ham Cowling is seriously mulling over this investment, which would give the Hammers greater spending power to mount a charge for a European place nexxt season. However, he will not be investing until the outcome of this season is known. If Colchester win promotion back to the Championship then Cowling will stay for the time being. If, however, they fail to win promotion then Cowling will 'up sticks' and become a member of the board at West Ham, and a serious investor.

If he does go to West Ham, the Colchester dream will be over, and without Cowlings considerable bank–rolling of the club the club will be facing years of hardship with a fall down the football ladder inevitable (Conference within 3 years?) Added to this, current manager Aidy Boothroyd will leave due to lack of funds, and his huge salary will be unsustainable. Players will be forced out as the club will not be able to justify a 30+ squad on some of the highest wages in League One. Unless cuts are made without the Cowling investment administration will be inevitable on crowds averaging 4, 000 (even less without Cowling) within 12 months.

MORE SOUTHEND UNITED

Absolute done deal! Alan McCormack to Rochdale. This has been delayed due to injuries within the SOuthend squad, but will be completed in the next 3 weeks. Loan to the end of the season then £50,000 at the end of the season. 3 year deal for McCormack. This pre–supposes Southend United still being in existence at the end of the season.

The players have not been paid for January, and are demanding that unless January and February wages are paid in full by the end of the first week in March they will NOT continue playing. Leaving SUFC in a parlous position and possible expulsion from the Football League for failing to fulfil their fixtures.

Pat Baldwin and Scott Vernon to be recalled to Colchester United by the end of February due to non–payment of fees due to the north Essex side.

Is the club being deliberately run into the ground and closure to allow the Roots Hall site to be developed sooner rather than later and a tidy profit being made at the cost of football and the community? All will, sadly, be revealed.

Truth About Cardiff City FC

Having worked at the club until fairly recent, I do have some knowledge about what is going on behind the scenes.

Here is what is happening:

The club are facing a 'shortfall of revenue' i.e. are £11m in debt. However, the club is not at risk of going into administration at the moment.
The Board have said that going into administration now would be the end of our promotion hopes, and whilst there is still a chance of promotion then it will not
happen.

On investment, the Malaysians are only interested in investing up to £4m. They only want a place on the board and, more importantly, want Steve Borley to take over from the 'hapless' Peter Ridsdale. Also, Ben Steele was just on an 'attention seeking' jolly and was never serious about buying us.

However, Ridsdale has an ace up his sleeve and will use it very soon. I know for a fact that he has had secret talks with an individual and these will advance come the close season. This deal suits Ridsdale as it includes:

£2 million for Ridsdale to quit the club

£35 million for a 100% takeover

£6 million invested in building the club up (academy/facilities)

plus a 'warchest' to enable a serious promotion bid next season.

Nobody else can/is offering that amount of money.

Expect to hear more in the close season..change will happen and Ridsdale will be gone (with quite a few others too, if I have heard correctly..)

NOT BULL, 100% TRUE!

–WHUFC BREAKING NEWS–
No matter how comfortable we survive in the Premier League, Gianfranco Zola will in fact be sacked. The suprise choice for Gold and Sullivan is Alex McLeish, with Mark Hughes (unlikely) and Roy Hodgson (50/50) also on their list, but McLeish is their main target. When the season finishes Gold and Sullivan will turn their 50% stake in West Ham into a 51% and don't be suprised to see more rich hammers fans buying the rest of the stake. Gold and Sullivan will give McLeish £30m to spend in the summer but I would still expect to see some players go to pay of the debt and by the end of the year expect to hear that we will be moving to the Olympic Stadium!

To the person who said Swindon Town were selling Austin and Paynter..

Don't be silly!

That is just about the worst rumour I've heard. Both players love the club and both are staying.

Plus, we are strengthening our forward line with Matt Tubbs and Charles Ademano next season and may also be bidding on Tranmere's Bas Savage.

Expect us to go more 4–3–3 next season as we go for promotion (if we don't go up this time, that is!)

'Just had a call from a celtic friend who gathers as much info on celtic as he can. he reckons mcgeady told mowbury he would only leave celtic for a EPL club capable of making europe but is now openly stating he would leave for any EPL team to put himself in the shop window. as a gers fan i'd be glad to see him go as on form he's a nightmare to keep quiet but still not sure if he'd cut it at a top 8 team. also ireland to arsenal (which has been posted) could be the missing piece of the jigsaw.'

Would back up a strong rumour that he is off to Aston Villa and that Nigel Reo–Coker will make way for him.

Reo–Coker to West Brom/Forest.

22 Feb 2010 23:13:01
To the person suggesting that David James will get a pay per play deal at Rangers, have I missed something about the transfer window? Portsmouth have applied to sell players outwith the window but I have'nt heard of a decision being reached as yet. HOWEVER, if this is granted this would only apply to championship and "lower" league teams and possibly Russia, where the window is still open.
