Chavs have offered 50mill for Torres which was rejected on all fronts (rafa.parry, g&H). Chavs have also apparently offered 75mill which was also rejected.

Armand Traore's move to Portsmouth could see the departure of fellow new team mate and left back Djimi Traore. The former Liverpool defender could now leave the club with Stoke City and Fulham interested in the player.

MON is a moron:
To the guy defending MON, I use to like MON until the Barry incident. Any Liverpool fans like the one who made you defend MON in the first place are well entitled to their opinions.
MON rightly so could name any price he wanted for his player just like any of us selling a car would do. If you dont want to pay the price fair enough. This does not make MON a moron.
What does make him a moron though is the way he goes on.
The potential transfer was largely believed to be leaked at the Villa end but broke with a Liverpool newspaper. Rafa simply confirmed he had a discussion with MON. End of. While Harry Redknapp is telling the world who he'd like to sign (inc 2 LFC players) Rafa is getting criticised by MON etc. . when all he said was he spoke to MON in April about it. MON denies it was a discussion, and twisted Rafa's words to make him out to be a liar.
He did the same to Barry over the MON was too busy at the Euro's incident.
Then he does the same to LFC over the transfer deadline, twisting the fact that on the deadline day LFC were less than an hour late with Villa's valuation. Claiming they had all summer etc. . but thats still not explaining why you would reject the bid less than an hour after the deadline passed.
P.S. He complained about Rafa's media talk which was only a sentence if even, when he went running to the AVFC website everytime something happened to tell the world.
And before you try and explain what a deadline means. Dont forget MON's Barry can leave before the window shuts if the valuation is made.
Needless to say, you may carry yourself in this manner, but people who think he is a Moron are well placed to think so.

Vagner Love, Alan Smith, Stephane M'Bia and Joao Moutinho are his list of targets whilst Tiago is also on a list compromised of 6. Moyes wants atleast 1 midfielder and 1 striker. If Moyes walks, Sam Allardyce looks set to replace him at Goodison Park, with Mike Newell to be seperately appointed as his assistant.

To all my fellow Reds fans, every rumour on here is exactly that, its all far from the truth, there is no substantial material whatsoever. The talks between Rafa & Rick Parry were simple, Rafa handed in his resignation to Rick Parry due to his frustration with the owners. They promised to back him with funds, which in all fairness, they have done, but they also promised to back him with any signings, which they havent (Gareth Barry). Rafa felt undermimed by this and felt that he had no other alternativeother than to leave. Tom Hicks loves Rafa's coaching, personality, but not his transfer policy. The reason why Rafa decided to stay, is the fact that Hicks has promised him that his job is guarenteed next year no matter how much Liverpool fails this year. Also, The owners have guarenteed Rafa has their full support in the remainder of the transfer window, but, not for Gareth Barry.

Birmingham have been scouring Europe for some quality players at the back. It's become famous that Birmingham need defenders. Birmingham won't be signing Balde as it's thought the fans won't warm to him. Several scouts have been to Lithuanian side FBK Kaunas to take a look at a few of their players. Pascal Mendy is one of them and the other being Adrian Mroweic. Mendy is a Senegalese international and Mroweic is seen as a very promising player that could be the next Vidic.
Birmingham have also taken a look at Argentine Raul Ledesma and are rumoured to be ready to make a £3m pound move for the 29 year–old. He is a midfielder and has been capped three times by his international team.
Watch this space, Alex McLeish is going to make Birmingham awesome.

Big News
Manchester City have agreed a fee with Hamburg SV for defender Vincent Kompany. The club will now be discussing personal terms with the player and Kompany will become Citys third signing this summer. With another Tal Ben Haim also having been signed, this means City could be planning to try and sell Micah Richards and Richard Dunne very late into the summer. Newcastle could be interested in Dunne, while both Manchester United and Arsenal would be interested in Richards (although Arsenal would not sign him this summer as they only want a midfielder). More big news. Arsene has said in an interview that 'there is always interest' in Gareth Barry. One of Gareth Barry, Xabi Alonso and Gokan Inler will be an Arsenal player by September 1st.

Brian Barwick is quitting his job at the FA because he has a new one lined up as CEO of Liverpool FC working under the new owners DIC who will take over in September when Gillett and Hicks finally admit they have no money for the new stadium and the NWDA withdraws funding for the regeneration of the Anfield area. This will turn the city council and the government against G&H and force them to make a sale at a much lower price to DIC. Rafa will stay on and be given a huge warchest in time for the January window. Barry will be his first purchase. Then he'll start spending megabucks.
I know several first team players at HEARTS and there are more rumblings of discontent. The players are furious at the treatment of goalkeeper Steve Banks, and Csaba László is on the brink of quitting over the level of Vladmir Romanov's interference. Romanov has insisted that Csaba bring in the goalkeeper and goalkeeping coach from his other side KAUNAS.
Csaba has publically supported both appointments but has confided in his players that he is furious. Romanov has increased his interference to the point where some players have been excluded from training, and Romanov has even insisted on particular training excercises being completed. HEARTS are on the brink of a massive internal collapse unless Romanov steps back.

Hearts are close to agreeing a loan move for Mitchell Schet.Mindaugas Nikolicius and Anatoly Korobochka met the player and his representives last week and are close to an agreement with Feyenoord who are keen for the player to gain first team experience.

Something I just heard from a reliable source. Xabi Alonso will only move to Arsenal if they allow Walcott to move in exchange. Wenger is against this and Rafa won't budge so it is stalemate at the moment.

sir alex will make 2 more signings before the window closes these are angel di maria from benfica and either roque santa cruz or roman Pavlyuchenko he has given up on berbatov as spurs want 2 much. january will see a deal with udinese for the trasfer of Alexis Sanchez who will then come in the summer with sir alex's star buy karim benzema at which time ronaldo will depart to real madrid with a big smile on his face and a shed load of cash in his wallet although i doubt he'll get the pludit's or the medals he got at united it didnt work out 4 beckham, so if he chooses money over medals who r we 2 judge, i'll thank him 4 the memories and the trophys and wish him the best. we always bounce back after the loss of key players, sir alex has it covered.
