Seeing as most Liverpool rumours on here are posted by muppets, here is some actual transfer gossip:
Word is that Prince whats–his–face has bought a 10% share in Liverpool for the time being and has give Hicks & Gillett a small £5m alongside the original £2m budget. Goran Pandev MIGHT join for £3m rather than joining the summer. This only has a chance of happening if Benni McCarthy decides to join a different side, with a £4m bid being tabled. Dossena will join Sampdoria for £6m while Voronin will be off to Germany, possibly Frankfurt if they can stump up £3m. This will see the £7m raise to £10m, and with McCarthy £6m. Expect to see Quaresma join on loan in January alongside R VDV. Mascherano will be joining Barca in the summer. The fees have been agreed at £40m, although if Barca are willing to part with him Yaya Toure and £15m. Benayoun might join Man City in the summer should Rafa decide to accept their bid, rumoured to be in the region of £20m. Riera will be off to Valencia, with Silva coming to Anfield. Aguero is the other player Rafa wants, and with the player a Liverpool fan and should Rafa be given the funds then its a deal at £40m.

Casaba laslo...hearts manager has told romanov today after a pathetic display against st johnstone that unless he gets 2 new strikers he's leaving, taxi for casaba, the meter is running, romanov does not give a sht about hearts or their fantastic supporters, time to give hearts back to the fans romanov out.. out.. out..!

United won't be splashing massive money as some people are suggesting. United are after Boltons Gary Cahill and 10 Million should be enough to capture him. United might also try to sign PSG's Sahko if Rio or Vidic leave, Bids of 30 million plus would be accepted.
Hulk from Porto is being looked at. Nani's future at Old Trafford is over. Carrick, Berbatov, Tosic and a few others are playing for their futures.

Hey Everybody , I love this site but has anyone got any TRUE rumours about LFC and i have heard man city are after torres for 100 million , is there any truth in this? Will 'el nini' really leave ?

Manchester United are expected to sign a goalkeeper and a striker in January. Expect an offer of about £24 million to be made for Bosnian striker, Edin Dzeko of VfL Wolfsburg. The lad is a superb player, and has drawn comparisons to United legend Ruud van Nistelrooy. Also, there might be a move made for Carlton Cole of West Ham United. Cole is playing exceptional just now for the Hammers, and don't be surprised if SAF makes a move for around £16 million. This will of course see Dimitar Berbatov leave. The Bulgarian has been rather dissapointing since his £30 million move from Spurs, so don't expect United to recoup what they paid for him but they should receive about £25 million and this should see him off to Bayern Munich, or an option of £35 million + Berbatov in a deal to land Franck Ribery. That probably won't happen, nor will deals to sign David Villa, or David Silva. But do expect SAF to make a move for Igor Akinfeev of CSKA Moskva. He has impressed Ferguson in the matches aginst Moskva, as have Milos Krasic and Alan Dzagoev, but don't expect them to sign. Anyway, Akinfeev is just 23 and is already captain of club and country. You'll see SAF make an offer of £19 million so as to cancel out offers from other clubs. If Akinfeev refuses to leave or is not interested in amove to United, then SAF will not be signing a goalkeeper, he will give youngsters Ben Amos and Ron–Robert Zieler a chance in the first team. As Ferguson says, Ben Foster will not leave on loan, or on a permanent deal. Tomasz Kuszczak is the one who will be leaving for West Ham, if my sources are correct, because Robert Green is leaving for Arsenal in January for £11 million. The fee for Kuszczak will be £5 million. Martin O'Neill is said to be interested in bringing United youngster Darron Gibson to Villa Park for £5 million, also. Danny Welbeck and Federico Macheda will not be leaving on loan, at least not unitl next season. Summary: INS: Carlton Cole £16m (West Ham), Edin Dzeko £24m (Wolfsburg), Igor Akinfeev £19m (CSKA), Franck Ribery £30m + Berbatov (B.Munich) – unlikely. OUTS: Dimitar Berbatov £25m/swap (B.Munich), Tomasz Kuszczak £5m (West Ham), Darron Gibson £5m (Aston Villa). Humphrey89

To the sad Rangers sorry Lloyds Banking Group supporter calling Celtic fans "dhim tims" firstly take a spelling course. And at least our players are there (where is Bougherra this time ?) and command fees in the transfer market that actually are worth something. Focus on your own money worries we unlike you run our own club not the Bank. McManus, Caldwell, McGeady and Brown will all to allowed to leave in January and McDonald too if he doesn't shape up. Fringe players like Killen, Flood etc will also leave. Simply the first team squad is way too large at present. As for Rangerswell they will sell anyone the Bank tells them too...what a way to run a club !! At least we can lookf backwards to them disgracing themselves and Scotland in Seville.

This was always going to be a transition season at OT. Contrary to what everyone thinks, SAF will go on for at least 2–3 more seasons after 2010 yet and is convinced he can fashion his greatest ever squad before retiring. This season was an opportunity for people to get noticed.. and the following changes will happen

Definitely Out – Carrick, Kusczak and Nani(after their stupid little outbursts) for 15+5+15 = 35 mill. Also exiting will be Neville and Scholes (retirement, despite being offered new deals.. they both will want to retire as top players). Expect United to make some more money through Tom Heaton, Danny Simpson and Craig Cathcart – 5 mill

Maybe Out – Rio (depends on fitness), will still fetch us at least 15–20 mill; Vidic (if a big enough bid is made.. at least 30mill); Berbatov/Owen.. depends on performance and other targets

Definitely Ins – Silva, a GK (most probably Lopez, though SAF has also had looks at Adler, Neuer and Akinfeev), Simon Kjaer and Lahm. 25 + 15 + 10 + 15 = 65mill. Expect a cheeky bid for Daniel Alves if Barca sign Maicon (very distant possibility)

Maybe Ins – this is where it gets interesting.. United have 3 great young strikers, and SAF is a big fan of Berbatov... however, at the end of the season in case Suarez or Dzeko or Villa can be got for a reasonable price, he might just decide to let Berba/Owen go for 20/8ish million

Finally, expect De Laet, Possebon, Tosic and 2 out of Welbeck, Macheda, and Diouf to go on loan next season.. Championship or SPL is a possibility. In case VDS retires, Amos will stay else he will be loaned too.

United squad next season will look sth like this

GK – Foster, VDS/Amos, Lopez
Defs – Brown, O'Shea, Evra, Fabio, Rafael, Rio, Evans, Kjaer, Lahm
Mids – Silva, Obertan, Valencia, Park, Hargo, Fletcher, Anderson, Giggs, Gibson, Ljajic (is hot stuff!!)
Fs – Rooney, Berba, Owen, One of Diouf/Macheda/Welbeck, Dzeko/Suarez/Villa possibly as well

PLEASE PLEASE
Do something to stop these derranged dhim tims posting shte on here, McGeady to Birmingham £10m, Brown off for £12m,
The word is McGeady is being shown the door in January, Mowbray wants shot of him, the price that Celtic will accept is around £4/5m.
Now Brown, the guy's injured and out till the new year ffs, he's not wanted either by Mowbray, his price, as Harry said before £5m,
Herman the Heid £2m pmsl, this tosspot is going to Boro for £500k max, or possibly with McAnus for £1.5m, wee Chesney loves this comedy double act.
Blubber Boruc is also for the heave, but in the Summer, Liewell is looking for £5/6m, the word is West Ham because Green is going to Arsenal.
Mowbray will be lucky to get £2/3m, if all these deals go through, Celtic (their board)need the money, after their European failures, they're not as well off as the mhedia portrays.

About Liverpool Fc : inside source from liverpool told me rafa is going for a permanent buy for goran pandev with van der vaart loan deal option to buy for 10 m euros at the end of current campaign if pandev moves to inter rafa will try and sign pair huntelaar or pavlchenko. Javier mascherano will be leaving in january to real madrid with lassana diarra coming to liverpool. Liverpool will also sign a pre contract in january for simon kjaer to join start of next season. Andrew dossena will be leaving in january to roma for 6 million euros.Ryan Babel could go on loan to hamburg with elia coming the other way.

About Preston North End:

Yes, the club has financial problems but these are being exacerbated.

The club is alright until June, and there are people interested in buying the club – some local to Lancashire and some from further afield.

One of the interested people was interested in buying Cardiff City and Hearts, but had his bids for the clubs rejected. This guy is very successful and wants to buy a club in the Championship or SPL.

If nothing changes, expect to see him take over in Summer 2010 and Preston in the Premiership in 2011!

Glasgow Celtic January Transfer News. My sources in the Celtic Park Boardroom have given me the following information. Under–Fire Celtic boss Tony Mowbray will be given an inflated transfer budget as Celtic look to ease ahead of debt ridden rivals Rangers. The much speculated Robbie Keane transfer will go through, for £7million, funded by irish billionaire owner of Celtic, Dermot Desmond. Another Spurs player, Gareth Bale, will come in to comepete with Danny Fox for the left back position, as Fox has disappointed his manager with poor performances. Highly rated Barcelona youngsters Sergio Busquets and Bojan will come in on loan, for loan fee's thought to be around £2million each. Aiden McGeady will leave, joining either Birmingham City or Sunderland for around £10million. McGeady has disappointed for Celtic this season and they will be looking to cash in. Similarly, Under–Fire Scott Brown will be shown the door, joining Spurs for an undisclosed fee, thought to be around £12 million paid in installments. Gary Caldwell will join Burnley for £2million, after a much disputed contract issue with Celtic. Finally, comepleting a busy transfer window, Coventry's Leon Best will agreed a deal with Celtic in january, singing at the end of his contract in July 2010.

To the person who wrote this, i'm a Celtic fan and won't sign Keane, Bojan & Busquets this will never happen.
We will sign
INS – Nagatomo, St Leger, Kilgannon, Ki Sung–Yong, Beckford, Best(pre–contract).
OUT – M.Brown, Wilson, Naylor, Caldwell, McManus, Robson, McDonald, Killen

Hearts have agreed a deal to sign striker Ádám Szalai on a three year deal with Madrid having the first option to buy back the player after 18 months. Szalai who has been training with the first team at Madrid over the last year is desperate to secure first team football and return to Madrid. Csaba Laszlo has been interested in the player for some time and tried to sign Szalai on loan during his first year at Hearts but Madrid refused. Laszlo has kept in touch with Szalai since with the player feeling his development would be better suited working under Laszlo.
I have also been told from two sources at Riccarton that Andy Driver and Jose Gonclaves will join Middlesbrough in January for a substantial fee that could not be turned down. Hearts are desperate for this deal to go through and this is why Driver will not be considered for first team action and hence the injury.
Samuel Cammazola will also return to Hearts after representatives of the player approached Romanov about a return. According to my sources the contract has been signed and the player will join in January.

This is direct quote from a player. It appears that the financial worries at Preston North End are about to get worse. Players were informed at a meeting on Thursday 19th that no contract extensions can be offered to anyone until after the start of the 2011 season. Richard Chaplow, Andy Lonergan, Youl Mawene & Loanee; Neal Trotman will all be leaving in the January Transfer window to ease the crippling debt. Alan Irvine was told that the club will look at administration before the end of this season if they cannot sell the club. Trevor Hemmings has been aproached about buying the club, but he will not pay the £20m debt and so administration is the only other option available. It's known that Irvine wants to leave this summer and PNE will also lose a possible £2m in compo, if the club goes into administration.
