anyway we move on

Outs to come.
Surman Championship club Done but not named belived to be leeds
Keogh Leeds 1.25mill
Halford QPR for 1mill good riddance!
Stearman loan to either leicster or derby for season
The hoff either mutual consent termination or very nominal fee back to belgium
nenand milijas 3mill to either villa or everton (growing impatient with Micks persistance with not picking him)

Ins being worked on.
N'Daw 2.5mill from St Ettienne
Curtis Davies 3mill (could be swap for milijas) wouldn't be popular with the fans due to his Sandwell Town connections)
and whats being described as an attacking player (not sure if midfield or striker) that would be the most significant transfer in wolves history!

ACTUALLY THERE HAVE BEEN TWO BIDS TURNED DOWN BY LIVERPOOL AND BENAYOUN HAS AGREED PERSONAL TERMS WITH CHELSEA THROUGH HIS AGENT, SO THERE HAS BEEN CONTACT EVIDENTLY, CHELSEA OFFICIALS HAVE BEEN HOUNDING MARVEAUX AND RENNES FOR WEEKS NOW! YOU MAY BE RIGHT ABOUT SRNA BUT THE OTHER TWO YOU ARE CLEARLY WRONG.

REMEMBER CHELSEA WERE HEAVILY LINKED TO AGUERO LAST SUMMER AND AGAIN IN JANUARY AND NOTHING COME OF IT. ITS JUST PAPER TALK AND THE PLAYER'S AGENT TRYING TO LINK HIM WITH CLUBS TO GIVE HIM A HIGHER VALUE, THEREFORE A HIGHER AMOUNT OF MONEY FOR HIM IF OR WHEN A DEAL WENT THROUGH. IN 2007 YOU BOUGHT SIDWELL & KALOU, IN 2008 YOU BOUGHT A 30 YEAR OLD DECO AND BOSINGWA, LAST SUMMER YOU BOUGHT ZHIRKOV SO DO NOT BE SURPRISED IF ALL YOU GET IS BENAYOUN, MARVEAUX, SRNA AND ANDY CARROLL?

Well from what i know, liverpool are not discussing the sale of any player until they get a new manager and that includes benayoun and all the rumours about marveaux is that west ham have put in an offer, not chelsea.
And once again i don't think you're listening to me. Ancelotti didn't want anyone last year, that's why hardly anyone was sold and anyone brought.
And summer 07 we were champions for two years in a row, we didn't really need anyone but you're still obviously forgetting that we actually signed malouda for 15million +
All the other years Buck said don't expect anyone major to come in but now that he has, i believe him and until he proves himself wrong, i still will. We've been so close to the CL (yes we lost in the last 16 last year but for the last 3 years, we've lost to the eventual champions) and with a few decent players i think we can win it this year

21 Jun 2010 23:07:15
The position is a defender.

Like I said early days but the deal could depend on the other players signing, etc.

It is early but would be worth the wait.

Keep you informed.

Ben Arfa will sign for Everton, Moutinho from Sporting too expensive.

Trust me also pulled their interest in Petrov wages too much and Pienaar will sign new deal. Bolton looks like his destination but villa interested still.

To the guy(s) who posted these
Man united to snap up alexis sanchez and simon kjaer for combined fee of £25million

WHY WOULD THE FEE BE COMBINED IF THEY PLAY FOR DIFFERENT CLUBS?

SANCHEZ PLAYS FOR UDINESE & KJAER PLAYS FOR PALERMO.

Yes, but it is an expression, when nani and anderson signed for united, the bbc presented its article with united signing the two for a combined fee even though ther played for sporting and porto respectively, the breakdown of that is then discussed.

However, if kjaer signed he would cost about £12m and Sanchez £1520m, so a little of in the valuation

First time post. I am on this everyday looking at rumours that have no fabrication too them, bad grammar and NO SOURCE'S name(s).

To this guy theturdz:

Who is your source ?

I have a source that actually KNOW Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher, I recieved a text TODAY and i will quote EXACTLY what it says: "LFC Have been sold for £560 million to abu dhabi grp. Richest club in prem now and ownd by a fan! Expect official announcmnt arnd 15 july! Deal HAS been done!"

Now I'm not saying this is true or untrue and you can question the rumour however you please. I recieved the text at 21:53:16 as it says on my phone, the PRECISE time i recieved it. AGAIN question al you want but ask anyone with a Blackberry which i have to show you a text and look at where the time is. So, too all Liverpool fans IF this text is true then switch to Skysports on Thursday 15th July. Last point, before you all criticise the grammar within the quotations, that is the EXACT way it is on my phone and i haven't deleted it so if the editor can tell me a way to send a text too this site then i will gladly send the EXACT text. So, Ed is there a way ? {editor's note – I will email you about it.}

My mate works in Nou camp he has told me That Fabregas Deal is done for 41 million plus Marquez and bojan krikic. And have agreed for ozill

Really, then he wouldn't call it the Nou Camp it's an English Media slant! The Catalans and Spanish call it Camp Nou and I can assure you now you dipsht that AFC would NEVER accept anything less than £60m! He's contracted for a further 5 yrs and the club do not need to sell to buy or refinance. Nor would any talks have taken place while he is on national duty. Just to top it all off you also claim Ozil will join him! Where are they all going to play? Fabregas and Ozil both play the same position, in fact if Barca do actually manage to find the cash they need, Ozil will probably replace Fabregas at Arsenal! Wenger isn't interested in Marquez for a start he's 31 and we need a right footed CB Vermaelen and Koscielny are left sided. Nor is he needing another winger like Bojan when we have an abundance in Arshavin, Nasri, Walcott, Wilshere, Rosicky and Barazite! Better luck next time..

21 Jun 2010 22:38:41
Do you know the position of the big signing mate? Obviously may not happen but if it's our marquee signing of the Summer it would be good to know what position if will be.

If Higgs thinks this will sell more season tickets I think they should extend the offer on the price!

Cheers for the info mate.

21 Jun 2010 22:39:58
To the fella that thinks Celtic will be signing Kevin Doyle and Craig Gordon, i'd stay off the moon juice for a while as its making you gibber noncense.

Celtic couldnt afford either of them and will be looking at freebies and loanees for the upcoming season.

Rubbish Dindane is a good player he fast and strong he will sign for a prem club and wait don't laugh im serious him ans Gervinho to Arsenal to add more athleticism remember this post and fabregas has NOT signed for Barca if he did tixi and Laporta would annonce the deal so they could have the credit and fabregas would address us gooner's the same way Henry did, ,

Seriously some people need to wake up on here. Ferguson will sign noone, Maybe joe cole if he can get him on a free but noone else. The days of him splashing out £30million on a player are way gone.

On to other news. Arsenal are closing in on Koscielny, with the price between the two clubs agreed. The deal is still no where near being completed and will be at least a week unless Arsene can Agree a fee. Arsene is also looking at another centre back as Campbell has told Arsene he's not going to be signing on for another season. He's looking at M'bia from Marseille but is likely to be put off by the £15million price tag. Arsene tried to sign him 2 years ago but Rennes rejected the £10million bid. If Arsenal were to put in a £15m bid it would test marseilles resolve as although they don't want to lose the player, M'bia has previously stated he wants to play for arsenal and the player's will could push the deal through. Anyway the M'bia move is still quite away off as Arsene has just made an enquiry and no official bid but he looks to be closing in on Koscielny.

With regards to the rumours Andy Keogh will be signing for Barnsley. There appears to be some weight to this rumour with a lot of Wolves forums and Barnsley forums citing the same.

As for Doncaster Rovers spending 1.8m on a single player, unfortunately there is no chance of that occurring. When Barnsley bought Shackell they outbid you with the Doncaster board issuing a statement which said that they had been blown out of the water by the Barnsley offer and couldn't compete. Rumours are that this was for around £800,000 however this was not confirmed so if you are struggling to compete with that price then more realistic signings would be around £250,000 £300,000 or loan deals.

I'm not stating this to antagonise Donny Rovers fans. I may be a Red first and foremost but after that I will always support Yorkshire clubs (with the exception of possibly Sheff Utd).

Hoskins was interested in joining us but as soon as Charlton came in there was only one winner so yes it is probbaly a no go unless he has a big change of heart.

As for a striker we are set to sign one this week, Warren Feeney which to me is a huge disappointment, injury prone and hardly played out the past 3 years.

Spicer would be good but would probably play on the right and have Cambell/Blizzard along side Brown.

Meetings next week and should have some more news then.

Well if this is the same person who commented last, liverpool have also said that there has been no contact with chelsea regarding benayoun and the same goes about srna and marveaux noone from chelsea has said anything about them, everything you hear is still rumours so if that's your reasoning as to why we aint going to buy aguero ("there has been no approach") then you're a fool (apologies if you are two different people)
but my point is still the same im not actually saying we're going to buy aguero, all im saying is that if ancelotti wants a big player he will be given the funds and that even though chelsea's spending days might be fewer and more far between, they are not over

Phuritad Jarikanon to go on trail to plymouth argyle

21 Jun 2010 21:54:14
Seriously Gooners give up with the Joe Cole claims! Joe Cole is NOT going to be signing for Arsenal. He is 28, has a poor injury record and would effectively replace someone who already has poor injury records in Rosicky! Cole isn't being looked at as a replacement for Fabregas, nor is he needed at left midfield (Wilshere, Nasri). Cole in all likelyhood will join up with Redknapp and be a Spurs player once the WC is over. No more about him joining Arsenal please!
Laurent Koscielny has agreed terms (deal is £8m) and will be the first of the new CB's (Google it, it's already out there!). Francois Coquelin will join Lorient on a 1`yr loan deal as part of the agreement. Next in will be one of Mertesacker, Chiellini, Vertonghen or Diakate. Mertesacker is the most likely, he is 6'6 and has great aerial ability, most importantly he is right footed! Koscielny is left footed and is therefore unlikely to be the long term partner for Vermaelen. No forwards will be brought in unless Eduardo goes out on loan or RVP/Bendtner gets injured during WC duty. Eden Hazard is the only luxury Wenger may sign, the others will be workhorses like Witsel or Toulalan.

To all the Utd fans claiming you'll sign Sneijder, just take a moment and think about it.

Wesley Sneijder was one of the three best players in Europe last season. He has only been at Inter for a year and won a treble with them. As far as I know he hasn't expressed a desire to leave, and went to Milan in the first place basically cos his missus told him too. I doubt she'd be willing to relocate to Manchester from Milan, would you? Added to this that he would cost at least £3540m and the final nail in the coffin is.. his manager is Rafa Benitez, possibly the only man in the world who hates Fergie and United more than Liverpool fans do. After Fergie refused to sell him Heinze, do you honestly reckon he'd be willing to sell him anyone?

Don't get me wrong, I fully expect United to sign someone big this summer, but it definitely WON'T be Wesley Sneijder.. or Angel Di Maria for that matter.

Spicer has had offers form other clubs and is eeping his options open, I think every player is at the moment! But he soke to Heffernan who gave us a good review which can only help our cause.

With regards to Lines we have accepted the £400,000 bid from Southampton and he is due for talks with them in the near future.

A left back and a keeper are Trolls main priorities and he is working every day to bring them in.

Will be a waiting game but it could well be worth it!

Up the gas!!

Now you've said that I'm getting concerned that we won't sign any strikers! We only have Duffy and Kuffour, and Duffy isn't that highly thought of that he got loaned out to Carlisle!

I'm hopeful we can sign Spicer as he is a good player, would be a great replacement for Lines.

So is Hoskins a complete no go mate?

21 Jun 2010 21:21:26
Mesut Ozil £15 20 million had a great season with Werder Bremen and a good start to the world cup, possibly the best player in South Africa so far in my opinion. Could be as good as or if not better than Fabregas?

What is your source? (How many people ask this on here? Its a rumours site pal not a sworn affedavit!) I would love this to happen as i am an arsenal fan, but unlikely because he is having a good world cup therefore we are likely to be outbidded by the likes of real madrid, barca and man city etc.

Neither Real or Barca would need him, they have playmakers galore in Kaka, Ronaldo, Raul, Van der Vaart, (Ribery ?) Messi, Xavi, Iniesta etc Man City can only offer cash Ozil is looking for more than just that. Wenger has earmarked him as a player for many years now, but in all reality, Barca won't be able to afford the fee for Fabregas this summer and if Cec doesn't leave, neither Gourcuff or Ozil will be signed. The only way Barca could get the cash in is to offload Ibrahimovic for the astronomical fee they paid Inter last summer and the only club interested is..Man City which puts them out of a deal for Ozil! City may have lots of money, but they won't be wasting it like they have in the past. Robinho, Adebayor, Lescott, Toure and Santa Cruz have all been brought in at way over their market value. ADUG are sick of being seen as soft touches. Expect City's dealings to be far more shrewd from now on.

We At Utd do not no whether SAF will make a move for any of the following players, but these players are on SAF wishlist.

Priority Listing:
J.Cole Notes: Good technique, Used possibly wide behind strikers, good passer, gifted footballer. Most Value for Money.
Gianluigi Buffon: Replacement for Van Dar Sar, proven goalkeeper, if purchased must replace Van Dar Sar, one risk: can the keeper adapt to life in England. Valuation: 15Million with Tomasz Kuszczak going to Juventus (unlikely to accept) Negotiations will not begin until World Cup finishes.

There are 3 more players which have been identified which I will later reveal. This is SAF actual transfer wishlist.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
i'm sorry but this is just bs. have you not been watching the wc, buffon is an ageing (all be it amazing quality) keeper, who now has an injury problem. no team will be buying him, ever, he'll see out his career with juv and retire, no chance of him moving now, he's still valued at 15mil+ according to this poster, and that's 15mil for a 30+ player with a herrniated (i know that's spelt wrong) disk, these our funny injuries and for a keeper they can be career threateners.

SAF seems to have faith in kus, and with him also selling foster and the bigging up of amos, don't be shocked if as long as VDS is still playing those kids our given a chance to come through, the lesson of tim howard at everton is one that SAF may still be thinking about and he may not be giving up on anyone till its to late, especially in the current economic climate

as for cole, player who again is showing injury problems, can he be fit for the majority of a season now following his recent injuries? combine that with his crazy wage demands, and will SAF really go for him? if he does then i'd expect either a low wage and high apperance fee, or a deal involving a huge wage cut if injured, but again, if joe was willing to do either he would be at chelsea still. expect the unexpected from him, with this to drag out for a while and to see him either cave in, or move to a side that's either selling and can afford or a shock move as a marquie signing (someone cash rich but not high profile, so sunderland or birmingham etc)

mike

To whoever said this:

Nottingham Forest latest news.

I work for a company that deals in commodities (Chemicals, Raw Materials etc.) this also means I get to speak to various people dealing in different types of commodities, and as footballers are a type of commodity I sometimes get to speak to people who deal with football agents, so as a Forest fan I always try to find out any snippets of news I can.

So this is what I can report according to my source, and ones that are fairly well known to be honest.

Peter Whittingham To Forest for 2.25 Million DEAL DONE.

Darren Pratley To Forest for 1.75 Million DEAL DONE.

Nicky Shorey To Forest for 1.5 Million DEAL DONE.

Chris Cohen To Bolton for 4 Million DEAL DONE.

If they were all DONE DEALS, they wouldn't be on a 'rumour' page, they'd be in the news, so they're not done deals, none of these will happen.

Whitts is staying at Cardiff, Pratley is joining the bluebirds too. Shorey going to Blackpool and Cohen won't go anywhere will stay with the Forest for one more year

Arsene Wenger has told the French Football Federation that he wants to manage the national team and is prepared to leave Arsenal this summer in time for the Euro qualifiers. Laurent Blanc has been offered the position but according to my contact in the French media they are keen to have Wenger.

ARE YOU FOR REAL? Not only does your 'contact' know jack sht, you also talk a load of guff pal. Laurent Blanc agreed a contract with the FFF a month before the World Cup began! Jean Tigana has already took over as Manager at Girondins Bordeaux. Blanc was compromised into the job as he was overlooked for the jobs at Inter, Juve and Real. With Ferguson's job at Utd his long term prospect, managing his national team offers minimal risk to damaging his reputation. After all, nobody could surely do as poor a job as Domenech has over the last 4yrs! Wenger has never been interested in coaching France. He would miss the day to day training sessions and still has at least another 5yrs as a club manager before he calls it a day. He hasn't nurtured the likes of Walcott, Ramsay, Wilshere, EmmanuelThomas, Bartley, Nordveit, Watt, Afobe and Sunu just to leave it all to someone else. Wenger is Arsenal through and through. Good luck with your next wind up!

The papers are linking United with Alexis Sanchez, unfortunately he is having a blinder and looking like the real deal which is definitely going to make him too expensive for us, maybe if Alexis Sayle is available, we may buy him and Fergie will come on an tell us how he has always wanted to sign him. RAINFISHTROMBONE

ACTUALLY RAINFISH THE PAPERS ARE LINKING SANCHEZ AND ISLA FOR 20 MILLION! BOTH 21, I KNOW WHAT I AM GOING TO SAY SOUNDS LIKE A 'RUMOUR FORM' CLICHE BUT SANCHEZ GENUINELY IS A UNITED FAN, I WATCHED A PROGRAMME WITH HIM AND HIS FATHER IN IT, THEY ARE BOTH HUGE UNITED FANS.

MAYBE I WILL GOOGLE IT TO SEE IF I CAN FIND THE PROGRAMME!

To Ellis, 16

Mesut Ozil £15 20 million had a great season with Werder Bremen and a good start to the world cup, possibly the best player in South Africa so far in my opinion. Could be as good as or if not better than Fabregas?

What is your source? I would love this to happen as i am an arsenal fan, but unlikely because he is having a good world cup therefore we are likely to be outbidded by the likes of real madrid, barca and man city etc.

MR.MUFC ANOTHER FEW THINGS THAT WONT HAPPEN, UNITED WILL BUY EITHER KJAER OR CHIELLINI BUT ONLY IF VIDIC LEAVES, NOT BOTH, SNEIJDER IS A POSSIBILITY, SILVA AND DI MARIA IS NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN, NOT EVEN ONE OF THEM NOW AS THEY ARE TOO PRICEY!

"YOU NEED TO BE SERIOUS, UNITED MAY BRING IN ONE OF DIEGO, SNEIJDER, SANCHEZ, VDV, DEFOUR, J.COLE.

YOU ARE MAKING THE REST OF US UNITED FANS LOOK STUPID, UNITED HAVE A MAXIMUM OF 1520M TO SPEND, FERGIE HAS SAID ONLY ONE SIGNING WILL BE MADE, ALTHOUGH HE WILL OBVIOUSLY REPLACE VIDIC IF HE LEAVES (LIKELY) THIS IS ALL THAT I THINK WILL HAPPEN

IN CHIELLINI, SANCHEZ, SMALLING (DONE), HERNANDEZ (DONE)

OUT VIDIC, FOSTER (DONE), TOSIC (DONE)"

Well said, just be thankful he's finally stopped putting Higuain in there as well.

Will Hoskins had a meeting today with Rovers but doesn't want to relocate from London despite having a look around Bristol.

Charlton and Millwall are the front runners but the key factor will be first team football.

Trolls has just come out and said he wants 5 players but still unknown whether Wayne Brown and Harry Pell are part of those 5 or it means 5 more players.

Capaldi set to have a meeting on Wednesday with us to have opening talks with Rovers.

Keeper also set to sign, not sure on loan or permanent yet but the big signing is still at early doors.

Keep you updated!!

Disappointed about Hoskins because he would be great for us, fingers crossed he chooses us but it looks unlikely now.

I certainly hope that Brown and Pell are not part of the 5 players Trolls wants. I think he's stated we need a keeper, left back, centre back and 2 strikers.

Anything more on Spicer joining or Lines leaving mate?

Good news bout the keeper and hopefully we can get this big signing!

To the bimingham city fan who said larsson is going to westham for 3 million hes out of contract in the summer.

Birmingham took out an option on Larsson for an extra year which did not need to be agreed. See below (taken from Telegraph 9/4/2010):

Birmingham City have made use of options written into the contracts of Liam Ridgewell and Sebastian Larsson to retain the pair for an additional year and two years respectively, the club have confirmed.

The clauses, constructed by former chairman David Sullivan, allowed the club to extend both players' deals without negotiation, rather than leaving the players able to leave on Bosman free transfers in June.

Negotiations will continue over whether the pair sign new longerterm contracts, but it is understood that while talks have been positive, no agreements have yet been reached.

So, in conclusion Blues would be entitled to a fee if he leaves for West Ham. Check your facts before having a go, you numpty.

Blackpool are ready to bid for greek internationals Christos Patsatzoglou 1 million (Omonia nicosia) and Dimitris Salpigidis 2.5 million (paok)

i don't know about patsatzoglou (apart from the fact that was really good a few years ago but had an injury for almost two years and half and after that he was not the same player/still good though) but salpigidis had signed (paok) from panathinaikos a couple of weeks ago.
He used to play for paok, signed for panathinaikos and now back to paok again.
So, i assume he won't move up north.

To the guy who has put together his fantasy Birmingham side, if we sign who you say we are, that will be well over £50million spent this summer. It is not champ manager mate, this is real life. We will sign another few players totalling around another £15mill. Sanchez would never come to us, there are far bigger clubs that would snap him up. Why would we sign Babel and N'Zogbia? They are basically the same player, so we won't be blowing 17million on them.

I also saw someone say that Larsson was out of contract this summer, he's not, he has a year left on it, and in all honesty, he can go. He thinks he's better than he is, he's too slow, his final ball is inconsistent, and his attitude is terrible.

Also, the deluded Saints fan, Parnaby has this week signed a new contract, so he won't be joining you!!

What I have heard is;
Babel for around 8m
Clyne for 2m

Arsenal are set to sign Oleksandr Shovkovskiy as answer to their Goalkeeping issues. One thing the 35yearold would certainly bring to the Emirates Stadium is a winning mentality: he has won 12 Ukrainian Premier League titles, and eight Ukrainian Cups.

Breakdown of the deal is an initial payment of £7m, with £1m if Koscielny starts 50 1st team games for Arsenal and £1m if Arsenal win a major trophy (Prem, CL and FA Cup) in the next 2 seasons, a 15% sell on fee and a youth link up system. The problems at Liverpool are greatly under exaggerated. Torres will sign for Barcelona, after they off load Ibrahimovic. Gerrard will sign for Real Madrid for around £25 Million. Mascherano will leave also for similar Money. Don't discount other top players leaving too, as the American Owners look to refinance their R.B.S Loan. Money will be reinvested in the Squad, but expect more English players with Premiership experience to come in. With the sale of there top players Liverpool will avoid a catastrophe, but will have to be content with a new manager rebuilding slowly and surely.

Does nobody here understand that Martin Petrov is not going to Everton, Villa, Celtic or West Ham. In fact, he is signing for Bolton. He has agreed terms and completed a medical, should be announced soon.

Coyle also interested in Franco Di Santo, Marcos Alonso, Rodrigo Moreno and Ivan Klasnic(back on loan, he is in a financial argument with Bremen atm, that is all that is stopping the move as Nantes are letting him back out on loan).

We aren't however intrested in James Vaughan or David Nugent.

Simon Grayson has moved to sign Ben Burgess from Blackpool on a free transfer.

He has also made enquiries about Sheffield Wednesdays Tommy Spurr (Born in Leeds).

Why would Leeds want to sign another full back !!
We've already signed, Connelly and Bessone and we have Crowe, Parker, White, Brombry and Hughes. Who are all good another for the championship, Spurr wouldn't get in! He would be a good signing for the futher but not this year mate i mean come on we have 7 full backs why would we want 8 ?

Connolly and Bessone are fullback but
Crowe, injured and rubbish
Parker, injured and is very injury prone
White, IS A WINGER
Bromby is a Centre back
Hughes is a Centre midfielder, just filled in last season

Crowe is crap
White is a left back and winger
Bromby usual plays right back when he comes
And when we signed Bessone why did it say, he will fight for the left back place with Parker and White, White plays more left back. It said it on the website. Yours obvs making this up.
If not, whats your source ?

""Why do people keep saying chelsea's spending days are over, says who? Abramovich was very impressed with ancelotti in the 1st season and now desperately wants to win the CL and feels with a few marquee signings this will happen which is the exact same thing Bruce Buck has said and also the reason why we have got rid of j.cole, ballack, beletti and a few other fringe players. Expect 1, maybe 2 marquee signings and a few squad players""

Who did Ancelotti buy when he arrived last summer?

Who did Ancelotti buy in January 2010?

Why are Chelsea strongly linked to a Benayoun (6.5m), Srna (14m) and Marveaux (3m) if they have 30m plus to spend on just one player?

Look at these players they are direct replacements for the players that have left, Joe Cole = Benayoun, Srna = Bellettti, Ballack = Marveaux.

Its no coincidence mate, these are not just paper stories these are players that have met with Chelsea officials!

You would be a fool to think players like Kaka, Torres and even Silva are on the cards!

But last season ancelotti didn't really want anyone because it was his first season and was happy with the squad and Buck did say we wernt going to sign any marquee players. Now though he sees room for improvement and yes we are linked with those 3 players (dreading the signing of benayoun though, replacing joe cole for him is like replacing megan fox for a blow up doll) but we are also quite strongly linked with players like aguero and schweinsteiger. my point is that im not dumb, i know were not going to buy torres for 70million for ribery for 65 and our spending is going to be a lot smaller than the years before, but abrom will still buy one or two quality players if ancelotti wants them

SCWEINSTEIGER HAS BEEN MENTIONED IN THE PAPERS, AGUERO HAS ALSO BEEN MENTIONED BUT THE ATLETICO BOSS HAS ALREADY SAID THERE HAS BEEN NO APPROACH FROM CHELSEA REGARDING AGUERO, NOT EVEN A PHONE CALL. ALSO I CANNOT SEE WHY THE GERMAN WOULD LEAVE HIS BELOVED BAYERN, HE PLAYS IN FRONT OF A HUGE CAPACITY, A BEAUTIFUL STADIUM, HE PLAYS WITH RIBERY, ROBBEN ETC! CHELSEA CANNOT MATCH NONE OF THIS, EVEN HIS WAGES WILL HAVE TO BE AROUND THE 80100K MARK, BAYERN COULD EASILY EQUAL THAT.

SCHWEINSTEIGER WILL REMAIN IN GERMANY FOR AT LEAST THREE MORE YEARS, HE HAS JUST 18 MONTHS LEFT ON HIS CURRENT CONTRACT. YOU CAN GUARANTEE THAT AS SOON AS HE IS BACK FROM S.A HE WILL BE OFFERED A HUGE 5 YEAR DEAL, BAYERN ARE THE MOST FINANCIALLY SOUND CLUB IN THE WORLD, HUGE TURN OVERS, THEY HAVE BIG SPENDING POWERS 25M ON ROBBEN, 20M ON RIBERY, 30M GOMEZ.

THE ONLY THING THAT CHELSEA CAN OFFER HIM IS PREMIERSHIP FOOTBALL? OTHER THAN THAT HE IS BETTER OFF AT BAYERN.

Arsenals options for replacing Cesc Fabregas:

Mesut Ozil £15 20 million had a great season with Werder Bremen and a good start to the world cup, possibly the best player in South Africa so far in my opinion. Could be as good as or if not better than Fabregas?

Ricarrdo Montolivo £18 million Good so far at the world cup and is one of the stars at Fiorentina, but Arsenal could get Ozil at that price, who is a much better option as he suits our style better. But Montolivo would still be a good signing. Or will it be another Aquilani who almost came to Arsenal before Liverpool.

Yoann Gourcuff £20+ million Again we could get Ozil with that amount who is more consistent. Didn't do it with AC Milan, so unlikely to do it for Arsenal?

Ander Herrera £10 million could be an option as it would enable Wenger to spend more on defence which is his priority. Like Ozil, he would be a good longterm replacement and he is only 1 year younger than Ozil is at 20.

Joe Cole Free Don't see him fitting in as well as Ozil or Montolivo as I see him as a wider player or playing off the striker rather than the Fabregas, more creative and central role. I would sign him, but not to directly replace Fabregas.

Javi Martinez £12 15 million Similar player to Fabregas, a couple of years younger so is a longterm replacement. Although differs to Fabregas as he lacks in the goal compartment.

Sami Khedira Stuttgart midfielder. Has had a good start with Germany and can pitch in with the odd goal, scoring almost 20 goals in 100 games for Stuttgart. Only problem is that as a direct replacement for Cesc there is the issue that he is slightly too defensive although does get forward. Again he is a good age at 23.

Piotr Trochowski Hamburg £10 million Wenger has supposedly been looking at the German Attacking midfielder since 2008. Although he doesn't score huge amounts of goals and is being looked at by Bayer Leverkusen.

Rafael Van Der Vaart Reliable can score goals, great freekick taker passing is excellent, very similar to Fabregas. Good friends with Van Persie who has encouraged him to join Arsenal. The main problem would be shirt number. VDV favors 23 which Arshavin currently has. Arshavin may be offered Gallas's no. 10 (who is leaving) so VDV can have 23.

Wesley Sneijder £20 30 million almost 30 million on one player is unlikely. Had a great year so may stay with Inter or rejoin Real Madrid with Mourinho. Unlikley but nice idea.

David Silva £20 25 million Can play anywhere across midfield but likely to join Chelsea, Manchester City or Real Madrid.

Santi Cazorla £7 9 million Quicker than Fabregas, very creative, but play wider and sometimes as a winger.

Marek Hamsik £17 million proven himself at Napoli but not a good start to world cup. Again Ozil would be a much better option at this price.

Ibrahim Affelay £10 13 million Arsenal have been looking at him for a good 3 years now and Wenger is a big admirer. Shown his ability in the half an hour or so he has played for Holland in South Africa. Personally I would pay that little extra for, yes 'again' Ozil.

Ellis, 16 Mate Wenger will be replacing Fabregas with Nasri, J.Cole or Ramsey, do not be fooled into thinking he will change a habit of a lifetime, he will NEVER spend 20 million on a player when he has players capable of playing in the position already in the squad.

Your 16, Wenger is the only manager you know at Arsenal, you should know his stubborn ways by now?

Judging by public talk and transfer movement between Arsenal and Lorient, I'd suggest Koscienly is on the verge of completing his move to Arsenal.

The facts:

Coquelin about to have medical at Lorient ahead of a year loan.

Wenger officially confirms his interest in Koscienly.

Gourcoff (Lorient manager) says Koscienly will definitely leave Lorient and they are actively looking for replacements.

Good news!!

To the person who said this :

To the idiot who said cameron jerome to Blackburn. Err yeah that makes sense.NOT. Tell me why would Birmingham sell a 23yo english striker who scored double figures (11) last season in the EPL, especially to a team such as Blackburn?? Plus i also highly doubt Blackburn have the financial muscle to tempt Birmingham, who at present are loaded, as a bid of 10 million plus would be needed. Big eck sees Cameron as a big part of Birminghams future, and im not suprised Sam likes him but no chance mate. If you think Cameron wants to leave you have another thing coming. I know the lad, top bloke. He is happy at BCFC and cannot wait to play with Zigic, he would like and increase in wages, as would most players but understands he only signed a new 5 year deal last summer, and yet he has been promised a new contract by january if he starts next season as he finished the last.
Now some real BCFC Rumours. Garry O'Connor (Hibs free) will be leaving as will Sebastian Larsson (West Ham 3m), this will leave a paper thin squad so no one else, except possibly Lee Bowyer (Blackpool 500k) will leave. Coming in will be Nathaniel Clyne (Palace 2m), Cheik Tiote (Twente 4m), Ryan Bable (Diverpool 7m), Charles N'Zogbia (Wigan 10m), Taye Taiwo (Marseille 5m), Nedum Onouha (Man City 3m) and this one has so far stayed quiet but i have it on good authority that Birmingham have Bid 12 million for Alexis Sanchez of Udinese and Chilie. Long shot be the bid has been made and talks are on going. There are plenty of higher profile clubs interested (Juve, Diverpool, Everton etc) but Birmingham have stolen a march on them and have been negotiating with Udinese club officials after a poor season in Italy. Sanchez himself is keen on as move to the Premiership and the guarantee of first team football and the ambition shown so far by Birmingham means he is interested, not guaranteed by any means but very very possible.

Again, striker Nile Ranger (also of Newcastle United) is 'expected' to follow his team mate, though only Newcastle United Football Club have formally agreed to the move. The loan period has been agreed as an initial 3 months, with the prospect of an extended period built into the deal, pending a review over the situation and position of all parties involved at a later date.

I would be surprised, Nile likes the nightlife of the quayside and the bigg market, I very much doubt Norwich would appeal too much unless he's become a fan of dominoes and bingo..

I would expect a big city side like QPR, Palace or Leeds to be more his cup of tea.

To the "14.6 TERMS OF SALE AGREEMENT" guy what a daft character you are!

you have cut and pasted that from some car insurance contract and even tried to edit it a little bit! unfortunately for you, the mistakes are obvious no legal terms would go to print before being proof read, and the following grammar just ain't cutting it i'm afraid:

"Once confirmed be legal status both parties must give public declaration by the correct channels within no more 30 days."

you even left in the bit about 'CCC insurances'!!

also contrary to what one contributer pointed out, there will be no PUBLIC reregistration of shareholders upon sale as it is a private company, not a plc.

I'm with Roy Hodgson on this one, any interest will have occured prior to the WC in 95% of any of the instances you mention turning out to be representative of anything beyond a mild interest. Kjaer, for example, was linked to LFC ages ago, and he also issued a come and get me call, before appearing to try and price himself out of the market wagewise. In a case like LFC's where the manager has gone, how active any of these possible deals remain is open to debate

The Turd makes a very convincing pitch and I hope it's true but there's a glaring error that makes it obvious it's a figment of his imagination.
If the club sell the ground then they will not get any money from the naming rights of it, the new owners would get all rights.

THAT'S CORRECT YOUR MARQUEE SIGNING WILL BE SRNA WITH BENAYOUN, MARVEAUX ETC BEING YOUR SQUAD PLAYERS, YOU SHOULD LOOK AT WHO YOUR CLUB HAVE ACTUALLY CONTACTED NOT WHAT THE PAPERS ARE PREDICTING.

YOUR MARQUEE SIGNING IN 2007 WAS KALOU & SIDWELL.

IN 2008 YOU BOUGHT BOSINGWA AND AN AGING DECO.

LAST YEAR YOU BOUGHT ZHIRKOV.

ARE YOU NOTICING A PATTERN HERE? DOES SRNA, BENAYOUN AND MARVEAUX SEEM SO BAD NOW?

I come on here to see what rumours are flying about but i NEVER take them seriously. Not until after the world cup anyway. Lets be honest every manager in the country probably has 710 transfer targets of which he might hope to get 23. As soon as the world cup ends, the premierships clubs will spring into action and in turn will start letting youth/fringe players go to championship clubs and there will be a knock on effect. So unless anyone has any concrete rumours then why bother posting them on here? But as everyone else is doing it.Next years United team will be:

Neuer
Isla
Ferdinand
Kjaer
Evra
Sanchez
Sneijder
Hargreaves
Fletcher
Nani
Rooney

(tongue firmly in cheek for that one ;))

This is theturdz speaking
the end is near for liverpool football club read as follows i have a very reliable source at the club and he has leaked this document to me for publication on this site.

While you should not consider this document an official correspondence, you can take it as a reliable indicator of events to come. These alternative courses of action have been discussed at the highest level within the club and with the clubs creditors. Outright sanction has now been approved for future execution.

The sought for price for the club has not been matched by any interested party. The maximum revenue stream that can be coaxed from the club has peaked. Interest payments to the banks can no longer be maintained while expecting the club to trade as a going concern. In essence this means something has to give. So in conjunction with their financiers, the agreed next step of the owners and the board is to embark on a comprehensive set of directed tasks, including asset stripping, novel revenue streams, and curtailment of funding.

A highly popular manager gets dismissed for this reason, a living legend from the clubs history is brushed aside for the same reason. But a boardroom agreeable outsider with no knowledge or affinity for the club will be crowned.

During the next two or three transfer windows, the owners and their supporting banks will seek to maximise their revenue stream by giving countenance to the sale of all the football clubs playing staff, including all first team players, all reserves, and all youths.

In conjunction funding of transferins will be limited, and an operational budget for the clubs market activity will be approximately five per cent of all outgoing transfer receipts.

The option remains open to sell the clubs home ground, its training facility and further generation of monies from lease back income. Rationalising of football academies around the globe is desired at this point. However these are considered problematic and detrimental to any future asking price for the club and without doubt the explosive confrontations that are to be expected will also influence the willingness of any future interested party to invest.

Stadium naming rights and other more sensitive strategic sponsorship rebrandings are deemed highly lucrative resource generators. Achievability without antagonising or arousing more extreme negative inputs is the greatest hindrance to success here. Nevertheless rebranding and renaming rights opportunities will not be ignored and all endeavours must ensure that this project succeeds.

Ticket prices can be increased up to ten per cent, all merchandising and service products will increase in ranges from twelve to fifteen per cent over the course of the new season and into the following year.

When maximum revenues from sales, cutbacks, product, service increases, and strategic alliances have been achieved, the club can now be offered for procurement at a targeted price of £400,000,000

To KOPITE 70

Let's get one thing straight fella.. the last design that LFC were going to implement DID look like a shed! (the design was so downgraded from the orginal it took your breath away)

ORIGINAL DESIGN completely round stadium (BEAUTIFUL) 2 tiers (with the possibility to ad two more later therefore poss 88,000.00 if ever wnt to 4 tiers!). restaurants, shops, large "piazza" area etc etc EVEN ROOM FOR A "TRAM LINE" STATION included in the original design.

LAST DESIGN Square "shed design". ie square, nothing outside, no amenities, nothing! and UGLY

And yes i also worked on the EFC quotation and that was also UGLY!! (and that was their first choice!!)

And when i say 34 years. i am saying if new owners go for a new design.. every new design means everything has to be recalculated.. including points of connection for water, gas, elec etc. never mind the architectural changes. i would be surprised if any new owner would go with the last design as it was stE FACT.

Regarding the speculation about Pellegrini, it is going to happen.

He is a free agent so no fees will be involved, saving Liverpool much needed cash.

As stated earlier, he met with Dalglish at Heathrow last Thursday.

His agent has admitted an offer has been made from one premiership club (I wonder who).

I can't imagine him not accepting it, however don't expect it to go public any time soon.. After the WC it will be announced (or as soon as England go out and at this rate it will be soon)

you didn't even make any effort to change it to make it look like your own, and its not the first time youve done it.

Pellegrini's agent has said he has an offer from an english club and seeing as we're the only prem league job currently available i think he'll be our new manager very soon

3rdEye.

ANTHER YAHIA  VFL BOCHUM some interest from wigan athletic but nothing concrete
MARCO BRESCIANO  PALERMO just speculation
JONG TAE SE  KAWASAKI FRONTALE difficult to get work permit but Ipswich one of couple of teams looking at him.
GOJKO KACAR  HERTHA BSC BERLIN actively looking for move away because relegation, Blackburn known to be admirers.
CHA DU RI  SC FREIBURG few teams such as lille in france and a unnamed premiership team
ARTURO VIDAL BAYER LEVERKUSEN just speculation
BEOM SEOK OH  ULSAN HYUNDAI again difficulty getting work permit known to be admirers are sampdoria in Italy, which is unusual and newcastle
MAREK HAMSIK  NAPOLI interest from arsenal and man utd
DAISUKE MATSUI  GRENOBLE avram grant and tony pulis interested
MARKO MARIN  WERDER BREMEN Both of these are tipped for double
MESUT OEZIL  WERDER BREMEN swoop from Arsenal although doubt wenger will get his money out, but only if the fabregas move pushes through
CARLOS SALCIDO  PSV EINDHOVEN great world cup so far, spurs interested
CARLOS VELA  ARSENAL championship teams want him on loan but he wants to move to a top division side on loan so arsenal may loan him to serie A with genoa interested. THIS IS A BIG RUMOUR, MOST LIKELY TO GO THROUGH WITH THIS MOVE UNLESS ENGER DECIDES TO KEEPHM IN FIRST TEAM FOR THIS SEASON WHICH IS UNLIKELY.
SIPHIWE TSHABALALA  KAIZER CHIEFS west brom interest
ALEXANDROS TZIOLIS  SIENA wants to leave, wolves enquired about him but looks like they've lost interest
WINSTON REID  MIDTYJALLAND Bristol City, coppel is big admirer
ALEXIS SANCHEZ  UDINESE Utd want a double swoop for isla and sanchez but not now but in January 2011.
MAURICIO ISLA  UDINESE
SIMON KJAER  PALERMO Liverpool interested, ie. Kenny dalglish is interested but no offer until manager is sorted. Most likely not to be king Kenny as yanks want to raise price of Liverpool fc so want to install high profile manager. Hodgson is also out of the frame as unwillingness to leave Fulham.
KEISUKE HONDA  CSKA MOSCOW interest from premier league Aston villa , but will not leave as signed for cska in January.

A very good source tells me that David Beckham will have talks with Notts Forest's director of football David Pleat about joining the championship outfit. As iv allready told you about steven hunt steven mouyokolo fletcher this season then im not doing to bad.
Wolves have signed more and spent more than ne1 else and it aint over yet. Mick has another 6mil plus whatever else he brings in so 1mil for keogh 1.2 for surman 1.2 for halford and maybe 3.8 for ebanks blake. So anything from 9 to 12.5 mill more. Dont expect it to be all used now. Ngaw will be signed for around 1.75 2mill. Iv also seen jamie ohara rumours but im not sure this will happen. It doesn't look like a mick signing. I believe mancienne to come back on loan and if blake does go a striker will be bought in. Robbie keane has been mentioned again but the 7.5 spurs want mite put us off

LFC UPDATE

For those of you that wish to take this at face value, here's the latest update that I've been given:

A final sale figure has been agreed, I hear it's around £560m.

The sales process has been slightly slower than expected Hicks HAS intervened on a number of issues, the stadium in particular. He wanted to be involved, as a 'third party' in making sure the stadium is built and that his design is the one that's implemented. He also wanted to have his own team, engaged in the construction process. Only these 2 factors have hampered the natural flow of the deal. He has not attempted to force the sales value towards £800m.

Regarding his stadium demands, I'm quite clear he'll have no involvement with the project going forward. I don't know how this has been resolved but I have heard rumours that a small 'working' partnership with businesses in the UAE have been offered to him.

I'm also told that other parties remain interested and despite Hicks being a pain, the other people are willing to move, should the existing deal break down, which is highly unlikely I mean 99.9% unlikely. The other parties would step in and also insist that Hicks remains outside of the negotiating and stadium construction process.

Basically, Hicks is 'persona non grata'.

I think the 'official' announcement has slipped by a 7 to 10 days because of Hicks' intervention on the stadium but I think we could hear from the week starting 19th July.

I have not been given the name of a manager, although I have been told that the timeframe is dependent on 'outside' factors. Personally, I'm taking this to mean the World Cup but that's a wild guess. I've been reassured that the main target, has been approached and is highly regarded and would suit the job.

So, to sum up.

The sale has been agreed at around £560m

Hicks will not be involved with the stadium construction

Hicks has not scared off other potential investors

It's 99.9% certain that the existing bidders (Abu Dhabi based) will complete the sale

The sale will be completed or announced after 19th July

The new manager is already known to the board and the new owners

(1) To the person who posted, on 21 Jun 2010 at 10:11:02 "Ok let's just get one thing straight. . the new owners are running things. It's not all signed off but that's all they are waiting for. People on here seem to think it must be legally announced straight away, that's wrong. Once it's all done and dusted and signed they still have 30 days before they have to announce it."
First of all, if it is "not signed off" then it is not sold and as a matter of legal fact it will still be G&H who are running things.
Second, where on earth did you get the 30 day thing from? It is bad enough that people make up things and post them here, but it really bugs me when they make statements about the law or the position vis a vis the FSA because they surely realise that some readers know about the law and the FSA.

To this guy, please find below all you need,

14.6 TERMS OF SALE AGREEMENT

This agreement may be conducted by mutual agreement between both parties on giving written confirmation to each other. Once confirmed be legal status both parties must give public declaration by the correct channels within no more 30 days.

This agreement however, may be terminated immediately by the Company in the event of the Intermediary becoming insolvent, appointing a receiver or Manager seeking a Liquidation or any analogous proceeding in any jurisdiction, any of it's Principals becoming bankrupt or if they cease to be a member of the FSA.

This agreement may be terminated immediately where the other Party has committed an irredeemable breach of this agreement.

In the event of termination, nothing in this agreement shall affect the right of action of CCC Insurances Ltd as detailed in this agreement or it's rights to recover premiums from your company, their clients or any of them, or to apply any return premiums received from Insurers against any monies that may be owed to it by the Intermediary or their client.

Once again a little boy pretending to know what he is talking about Is proven wrong.

Keep up the good work though, good luck with you GCSE's

and before anybody else choices to question me, my motives are clear, if I didn't know things I would be as worried as every other Liverpool fan. So I feel it is only right to share as much as I can without putting myself, my career or my contacts in any bother.

west ham have given henry until the end of this week to decide on their offer and if he doesn't accept there will be the same offer on the table for tevez to come in on loan (same deal as in wages £100,000 a week) this will only happen if man city get all their striker targets in so if this deal was to go threw it will not be until near the close of the window

So, to sum up..

First of all, if it is "not signed off" then it is not sold and as a matter of legal fact it will still be G&H who are running things.

Second, where on earth did you get the 30 day thing from? It is bad enough that people make up things and post them here, but it really bugs me when they make statements about the law or the position vis a vis the FSA because they surely realise that some readers know about the law and the FSA.

Ittihad are considering offers from Egyptian champions Ahly and Scottish giants Celtic for Mohamed "Geddo" Nagy.

The Egypt forward seems to be on his way out of Alexandria as interest in his services is increasingly growing.

"Celtic offered £600,000 to loan Geddo for next season and we are considering it, " Ittihad board member Sherif AlHelw told FilGoal.com.

"Ahly have also shown interest recently. In addition to that, Gouna also want him.

"It will be very difficult to keep Geddo next season because the offers he has match his ambitions and are too good to turn down."

Geddo has been on the shortlist of several local and foreign clubs since inspiring Egypt's 2010 African Cup of Nations triumph.

The 26yearold, however, once said he will not play for any club in Egypt other than Ittihad.

LLOYD SAM..Leeds born and after spending his whole career with Charlton and their academy, he wants a new challenge

HOOPER..Yes its becoming a bit of a saga, and negotiations are ongoing but Bates is willing albeit grudgingly to put the extra funds down for this player alone, as SG named him as his number one target in May)

I also understand that Grayson is looking to bring in a centre back and a central midfielder, However I don't think there will be money spent. I expect either a Loanee or one of the trialist which Leeds have at thorp arch during the world cup. The rumours Ive heard in Leeds (obviously not reliable but speculation) is than Dorian Dervite (CB) is to come in from Spurs on loan.

Actually we have one of the wealthiest boards in the championship. We're just careful with our money and have a manager who doesn't need to spend silly money to make his team play well.

Firstly, if LFC had been sold then the shares would need to have been reregistered.
Secondly, if the club has been sold then H&G would have announced this in the US where the real pressure on their business empires is.
Thirdly, if the banks had seized control then that would have required a legal process as the loans are not yet due.
Therefore, the most likely situation is that nothing has changed.
No comments have come from any of the so called new buyers (and every time I read this site there seems to be a different name thrown in). Given the strength of feeling, is it not likely that any potential buyer would leak the news that negotiations are taking place to use the fans as a negotiating tool?

There is a couple propblems with your above mentioned players.

1 Obertan will not be at Ibrox
2 Goodwillie will not be at Ibrox, as we won't be signing players who cost more than 1m.
3 I doubt Healy will be at Ibrox, unless Suderland release him for free and Healy drops he wages by half.

Im not going to claim i know whos coming in and whos going, but your above 3 were a little "wide of the mark".

My thoughts are, Bougie, Wilson and maybe Greeg's to leave bringing in arround 10 14 £m.

Comming in are, and this is only my optinion Macarthur, Conway, Tuffy, Welcome and another centr back and right sided player and left back for cover for Papac.

Just remeber.. McCoist is the one looking at players whilst Smith relaxes on holiday in the USA, we know that Smith has an eye for a bargin, but what can McCoist spot ??

Michael Owen is in talks about a season long loan to Blackpool.

The deal is rumoured to be on a pay as you play basis of around £20,000 per game from the Blackpool side.

Manchester United will have a 48 hour recall written into the deal and Owen is expected at Bloomfield Rd on Wednesday to finalise the details.

yes this is so true he even gets a free stick of rock for every goal he scores. hahaha. blackpool fans wake up

In relation to the posts about the construction of LFC'S proposed new stadium.. if and when the club is sold things will take ages to start moving again (and i know because i work for a well known utility company who are / were supplying the water for the ground)

even when things were going well the plans for the bloody thing changed 6 times in 3 years !! Walforf and StatleR started off with an all sing and dancing gold plated football mecca.. the last plan was a glorified shed! ( should have known then that they were going to pull the plug!!).. any way point being that whover takes over will want their own design ( as the most recent one is sht!!) and will therefore be at least 34 years before construction will begin. FACT!!

Also talk of a deal in the balance, a free transfer for James Beattie from Stoke City.

As a Forest fan I am quite excited at the prospect of the incoming's, as long as the info given is accurate, but I will say he is the same source that told me we were buying Cohen and Davies, Gunter, and Mckenna.

So I have no reason to doubt him.

Sad if Cohen is on his way, want him to stay.

Ok let's just get one thing straight.

Gerrard and Torres are both staying due to the fact that they make Liverpool an attractive buy and we are up for sale.

All these "gerrards 50/50" idiots makeme laugh, he's under contract even if stevie said he wants to go (which he hasnt) we don't have to sell so can we stop all this boring st please.

As I posted the other day I don't know who but the reason Liverpool are looking at good managers and not Hodgson or stop gap is because the new owners are running things. It's not all signed off but that's all they are waiting for. People on here seem to think it must be legally announced straight away, that's wrong. Once it's all done and dusted and signed they still have 30 days before they have to announce it.

Expect the announcement to get maximum publicity so not during world cup.

To the Southampton fan who over the last 3 months gives us daily updates of the players signing for Southampton. So far since the season has ended you have mentioned nearly 50 players of which only Ryan Dickson has signed. i guess the law of averages said you were always going to get one right. Trust me that the next signing Southampton make hasn't even been mentioned by you, believe it or not.

Obviously I can't confirm the player or club but the fee would be in the region of £400,000 to £500,000 and he is a quality player, only stumbling block could be the wages but like I said early ays and will know more next week.

UP THE GAS!

Are you on something?? Rovers will never spend that sort of money on a player, the most we ever spent was £375,000 and that was 18yrs ago! the Gas are skint, don't look forward to anything bar free's and low cost buys. Unless Rovers have been taken over by arab millionaires and I don't know about it!

A Gashead who knows what he's talkin about!

ARSENAL

Schwarser (spelling) 56 million
Konscielny (spelling!) 89 million
Van Der Wiel 1215 million
Taylor/Mertsacker/Cahill/Jagielka 825 million
Vertongen810 million (he will act as cover for Song and the centre backs or even start)
J.ColeFree

and unlikley but maybe 1 attacking signing, might me a big signing such as

Gourcuff20.8 million
Ozil? probably 1520 million
Hazard15 million
Remy810 million
Berg1015 million

The bottom 2 will only be if bids are made by other teams as Wenger see's them as the strikers of Arsenals future, Hazard is the most likely and will join next year anyway (Jan or July). The top 2 are very unlikely and will not happen unless Fabregas (who is staying because he doesn't feel valued by Barcalona as they won't up their bid to the 50 million Arsenal want) demands that a bench mark signing is made. However all of the top will happen, maybe 1 or 2 wrong. But hey, my source is pretty reliable.

This team will win the league next year:

Schwaszer
Sagna/VDW Vermaelen T/M/C/J (see above) Clichy
Song
Fabregas Gourcuff/Ozil/Nasri
RVP Chamakh Hazard/Arshavin

bench: Konscielny, Bendtner, Diaby, Denilson, Fabianski, Walcott, Vela, Vertonghen, Djouroh (spelling)

Eduardo and Rosicky to be sold

Total in (min) : 49 million
(max): 85.8 (i know, not happening)

Total Out: Gallasfree
SilvestreFree
Eduardo7 million
Rosicky69 million

The SEAN ST.LEDGER and MIDDLESBOROUGH saga is about to come out in the press (and the law courts).
Middlesborough are looking to get back all their investment for the loan claiming that SSL had no intention of moving but had enterd into a deal with the PNE Chairman Derek Shaw to get a much needed cash injection into PNE.

Strachan claims that SSL told him this over a beer (or three) and that he recorded the conversation on his phone.

The PNE legal team are claiming this was not legal procedure.

Watch your papers.

what a load of rubbish that is by law even if he taped it on his phone its called entrapment and also without his permission it can't be used in court and that's the law so please get a real rumour

21 Jun 2010 08:09:38
According to a MLS website owned by a well known soccer pundit/commentator in USA, Arsenal might sign at least one USA player. Sources are speculating that the player could be Michael Bradley (Monchengladbach), Tim Howard (Everton) or London Donovan (LA Galaxy).

If this is indeed true, I would probably put my money on Michael Bradley. David Moyes will not let his number one keeper move to Arsenal cheaply so Tim Howard can be ruled out. London Donovan though is a tricky one. He's good but where will Wenger put him though in the starting line up? As for Bradley, there is a place for him in a defensive role in midfield. This is just my own thought.

Do not slam me for this piece of information. Just do not take it too seriously but if it is true, just remember that it's me, Lay who brings you the news.

To the wally who said "Bristol city are set to sign slovak left back jan durica from lokomotiv moscow on a free transfer

also have are close to signing filip holosko from besiktas

this week marcus tudgay and gary hooper will sign for bristol city paving the way for nicky maynard to sign for burnley"

Please stop making up rumours about Slovak players, .

Durica still has 2 years left of his contract and isn't available on a free and would commend a fee of nearly 3.5 million euros + he wants to play in the Premiership, which counts out Bristol City .

As for Filip Holosko he is another player who would cost the best part of 4 million euros.

Just because you think Slovakia is a small country, doesn't mean our players will cost peanuts. Nearly all of the Sloavk team play their football internationally and would cost more money than City have to spend.

Arsenal Looking for 2CBs, DM, GK.
CB 3 CBs will be leaving so 2CBs will replace them, meaning we'll have 4CBs. We all know one of those CBs will be Koscienly (8 Million). Also an experiance CB. Almost cirtain that they would have played in Europe. Wengers using playes such as Bougherra as a smoke screen so he can snap playes up on the sly. Mertesacker and Naldo both for Werder Breman and both stand at 6'6" tall have been linked with Arsenal but nothing official. Also Mexes and Subotic have been linked. I hope Naldo because his 6'6" tall, scores goals, strong, fast and would sort out any problems Arsenal has at the back.

DM Wenger knows a defensive mid is needed and that Song cannot last a whole season without being rested. Thats why a DM will be signed. Not only to give Song a break from time to time but if any of the CBs are injured, Song can easily step in and play as a CB and there will be a reeplacement. So a DM is crucial. It seems like Mascherano is following Benitez to Inter and if this happens they will have 5 world class DM's who would all like to get games but its obvious, Cambiasso and Mascherano would be startes, and that leaves, Stankovic, Muntari and Thiago Motta all looking to get game time. Motta would be the most suitable his experianced, strong, would easily fit into Arsenal's passing games and his at the age where Song can learn of him. He would fit the bill fine at just 12 Million.

GK Its obvious that we need a GK. Frey, Sorenson, Akinveef, Hart and Buffon have all been linked but Wenger will go for Sorenson. He already tried this but Stoke rejected. After the WC he wil be signed for 7 Million.

Line up If this all happens (likely) the team will be something like this..
Sorenson
..Naldo Vermaelen
Sagna..Clichy
..Song..Motta
..Cesc
Vanpersie..Arshavin
Chamakh

Some rumors:

LFC:
I have no clue if the club has been bought, but here are some pieces of info. Torres staying, Gerrard 50/50, IF HE GOES ONLY DESTINATION IS MADRID. Expect some players to be part of the deal. Mascherano, however, is leaving.

MU: Sneijder has been linked, which is just plain stupid. A playmaker nobody ever heard of, or nobody expected will sign. In true SAF style.

Mesut Ozil is being chased by city, arsenal and chelsea. The latter will most likely sign him.

Marko Marin is being looked at by Redknapp. So is Diego Forlan.

Arsenal will probably sign either RSA goalkeeper, or Nigeria GK. This isn't a rumor, its a guess. Knowing Wenger' style.

Birmingham is interested on the FC PORTO defender Jorge Fucile.
Fucile has been linked with a move away from Porto in the winter transfer market and has been linked with a host of top clubs.
Up to the moment no concrete offer has been made, and Atletico Madrid's coach is also interested on the player..so time will tell.

21 Jun 2010 05:56:47
SAF will go all out to sign mesut ozil. He is fits every category that sir alex looks for in a player. Not an arrogant star, versatile, hardworking, natural talent and quality with scope to develop, wants success not $$ and most importantly is not overpirced and is in the range SAF prefers to buy players (1525mil). He will be the straight replacement for anderson or carrick one of whom is surely to be sold. SAF may try to get benzema on loan and try to sign a left footed left winger if the prcies are right.

Hi guys i am an ex agent and have been talking to some old friends who have informed me of these transfer dealings

william gallas juventus (free) apparently wrenger has become frustratingly angry with williams attitude over money and is willing to let him leave for nothing a replacment for cannavaro.

david healy rangers (free) david has been told of brucey that he is no longer part of the sunderland plans and after being at mates wedding steven davis he was talking to mccoist and a handshake has been done regarding his future.

cameron jerome blackburn (undisclosed) big sam is an admirer of the striker and big eck has said he can join the lancashire club.

henri camara blackpool (free) going to be handed a shock lifeline as olly wants to add some vital prem experince to his team and sees him as the perfect man to fill that bill and he comes as a free with low wages exactly what olly wants to do as he aims to keep the nucleus of his promotion winning team.

"""..spouted on here concerns Arsenal, Man Utd and Liverpool. Granted they are the biggest clubs in the country but talk about full of your own importance and believing the hype. You can tell a mile off those that know their football and those that are stirring crap and trying to point score over each other. In fairness, a lot of the Liverpool posts are educated and worth a look although I can't stand them but the muppet Arsenal texts are laughable. Linking them to every half decent player when their squad is unbalanced, lightweight and average enough already. The glory hunters at Utd are the worst though. They think every player is obsessed with joining them and don't realise football existed pre 1993.."""
dear unnamed sir,
you just confirmed ngiak's hypothesis that when someone posts an embarassing post, theu leave out their name. ngiak made a few assumptions, you seem to want to make us believe you are a "smaller" club supporter? then you go on to criticise man united and arsenal fans" wishlists? and liverpool's wishlists and "new owners and managers and players arriving yesterday" stories are more realistic? ngiak gets it. yes, man united fans all forgot the busby babes and george best. what about that ugly half green/half yellow newton heath jerseys that we were wearing a few seasons ago. all forgotten? and yes, man united fans are super arrogant and people like bob the red and irish rover are not? ngiak guesses you must believe ngiak is arrogant after this post? yeah, well, maybe you could be humble enough to provide a name to back up your "very factual" accusations? probably not, if you had any insight.
anyway, man united are supposedly in the chase for wesley sneijder but sir alex is on holiday and enjoying the world cup. but part of the report is accurate, man united are on the lookout for someone who can provide the ammo for rooney. and its very unlikely they will get another striker however ngiak likes the look of alexis sanchez at united. even at the current problem area of centreback, smalling will start filling in, maybe another centreback/ defensive mid may come in as hargreaves and anderson do not seem to be recovering adequately after their operations. that's the reason for the kjaer/chiellini rumours. at best in will be a creative mid and a defensive player. following foster, heaton, and tosic out will probably be vidic, berbatov and owen. maybe another goalkeeper?
just a short "arrogant" wishlist from ngiak.

21 Jun 2010 01:50:24
I read every rumours on this site about man utd. A) saf as 90 mill to spend this summer B) saf will bring one more talent to united, this will be an CAM. C) gocurf , dos santos or wesly snijder one of this player will be the third signing for united.

Have you any idea what this means or who it could be ed ? {editor's note – I was wondering myself who he was talking about, I have just been trying to find out who has been talked about leaving in that price bracket from any club. None seem to fit the description he is giving though, except a couple of surplus youth team players from Arsenal and Man Utd. But then I suppose it depends on what you term quality! If only I knew what division the player was coming from I might be able to figure it out, but the description is just too vague really and I don't know anyone at Bristol Rovers to ask. I will have to work on finding a source there for the future.}

Without divulging my identity or involvement with the following club, this is the latest information i have become privy to concerning Norwich City Football Club:

Firstly, the signing of Danny Green (of Dagenham & Redbridge) is to be announced on Thursday, pending a fitness test. All terms with both the player and club have been agreed upon, despite prior reported interests from other parties elongating discussions in their earlier stages.
Simeon Jackson (of Gillingham) is hoped to follow suit, with negotiations with his club in their latter stages, after having hit a couple of hitches in the last few days over the exact fee to be paid. Jackson has supposedly shown desire in leaving Gillingham for the oppertunity of Championship football, leading one to assume there will be little in terms of obstruction when negotiations reach their contractual stages.
Fraser Forster (of Newcastle) is to be signed on a 6 month loan, and this could again be announced as early as Thusday. One would assume Newcastle manager Chris Hughton has not been able to confidently assure him as backup to first team keeper Steve Harper, with Tim Krul and an fast advancing Jak Alnwick contending with Fraser's position, as Fraser had (reportedly) urged Newcastle to complete the deal.
Darel Russell will sign a 3 year contract with Norwich on marginally improved terms. After having considered a contesting offer from Leeds United, Darel seems more comfortable with the convenience of travel between his home in East London to Norwich than Leeds. His families current residence would seem to dispel the prospect of moving into Yorkshire, whilst he has responded with explicit confidence in the current regime at Norwich City.

The date of the announcement of both Forster and Ranger has not yet been decided, but could potentially accompany that of Green and Jackson, should Ranger agree to the move.

If you look on ives galarcep's twitter account from today, he says he shook hands with Arsene Wenger and apparently it was made evident that an American player would be at the Emirates next season. He goes on to say that Michael Bradley, Landon Donovan or Tim Howard could all fit in to the system.

I'm not saying it's true at all, but it's interesting. just passing it along. check out his twitter for yourself.

Just a couple of things to get of my chest. Nottingham Forest fan who said that we (Bristol City) are a joke? Who do you think you are, calling us a joke? Yes thing haven't been great for us recently what with SIR Gary leaving us and is now Peterborough boss. Good luck Gary. But we now have Steve Coppell in charge. Look at his record compared to Billy Davies. This time next season, City will be in the top 2 while u lot will be mid table. Billy Davies has issues with the Board at Forest. The other thing, the slovakian moving 2 city? I think its TRUE. Peter Styvar is homesick, and Luke Wilkshire (moscow player), has spoken to the slovakian and he (the slovakian) wants 2 move to Bristol and join his fellow countryman.

Celtic Rumors

Sol Campbell Should sign within a few days if all the contract talks go well.

The Liam Lawrence deal seems to be dead due to no news emerging from the Celtic camp, also his club haven't revealed if they would accept the 1.x million Celtic had tabled.

Neil Lennon doesn't seem to Rate Landry N`Guenmo so i believe that is the reason he hasn't made his move permanent, there is still time but I doubt it.

I've not heard much else but I doubt Bellamy or Keane would sign cause Keane would want at least 50k Pw and Bellamy would want about the same. also the fee for Keane is above 8 million so.. also Bellamy said that he wants to go HOME , which implies that he wants to go back to Cardiff (his boyhood team) but if Celtic couldn't afford him , I seriously doubt that Cardiff could.
Also Celtic seem to be going back to their roots with interest in some Republic of I players

Rangers Rumors.

I've heard about a lot of players rangers are being linked with. But I think we will only sign a few (34) players this summer.

David Goodwillie I think we've been priced out of a move for him but I think Stephen Thomson would rip you're arm off for 2 million.

Craig Conway he has emerged as the prime target for rangers this summer so far. Probably about 1.5 million rising to about 2 with playing and international appearances and the such.

Gattuso forget it, He is on 96k pw at AC Milan so there is absolutely no way we could afford that (it's a quarter of our wage bill) even a wage cut would put him on like 30k doubt he would want less than that but we probably could afford about 30k on a short term deal.

Koren possible but he wants to stay in England but was keen on a move to Celtic last year so I don't see why he wouldn't be as keen on a move to Rangers.
Welcome McCoist WAS interested but due to him not being involved in the Honduran WC game so far has shaken his Interest but he still has 2 full games to make an impact on Ally.
McCoist has been noted has taking a particular interest in some Asian players. (N and S Koreans) (when commentating on the games he seems to be particularly impressed by them)

David Healy has been linked with us for the past 5 years so if he was to sign it would probably be on loan as a short time measure but I would prefer his give some young strikers a chance (Andy Little/Kane Hemmings / Cristiano Kisuka / Archie Campbell) epically Since AC and KH are about to sign new deals worth 1k Pw)
The Rhags are spinning some stories about every EPL Reserve team striker but me thinks it's just to fill the back pages during a pretty dull world cup.
Something interesting I Read is that M Petrov has asked his namesake and international team mate S Petrov about Scottish football due to recent interest from both Rangers and Celtic. And I imagine that his opinion must be pretty good.
That's all I've heard so far I thinks :)

Exactly why do you have your fingers in 'MAN PIES' and what does that have to do with being a rich banker? ;)

I heard a rumour from my barbers friend who once won an Ian Rush signed football that Osama Bin Laden is contemplating putting an offer in for Liverpool.

The big signing if it comes off will be worth it, it will bring season tickets sales up. That is what worries Higgs so he is going to fund the deal.

Like I said keep looking on here for more news.

I fully understand and respect the fact you need things to remain confidential and therefore can't reveal too much, but are you able to define how big a signing it would be and how much we're looking at in terms of cost?

Thank you.

I read at great deal of nonsense regarding liverpool on this site. liverpool info is as tight as a drum at the mo which is a good thing, done behind closed doors like it should be. rafa showed the door.. we are skint so why spend money on a pay off.. and yossi leaving.. all smells of condition of sale (arabs??).. more importantly for me is that i am a priorty rights holder as i was a shareholder prior to waldorf and statler! when we do get new owners where does that leave us? in honesty more than anything i want our dignity back.. bill bob and joe must be doing cartwheels..
