News for Arsenal fans:

There will be a special meeting at the Emirates on 4th January at 19:00 in order to discuss an expected takeover by Stan Kroenke.

Mr. Kroenke has bought more shares today, and is expected to buy 500 more by Wednesday which would mean that he would have to bid for the club due to owning a 30% stake in the PLC.

Hopefully, Mr. Kroenke will give Arsene money to spend in January. Arsene has already let the board know who his targets are and he will set out to strengthen the squad in January.

IN – Adriano, Chamakh, Krkic, Lahm and John Fleck.

WALSALL NEWS: In January the Saddlers will sign left winger Lee Holmes on loan from fellow league one side. Holmes has struggled with injury since signing for Soton and is looking to regain fitness through first team football at The Banks's.

Lfc news! rafa staying until summer as no one wants the job, jose wants to cme but only will cme if there cash to rebuild! club has to be sold for this to happen!

Why is everyone linking all the players City signed in the summer away from the club? They have now got a better manager than they had before so why would they want to leave?

SAF claims he won't be spending money in January despite having alot of trouble with injuries especially at the back. This is true but not to worry United fans because in the summer United will be busy. Wayne Rooney will either sign a new contract which will keep him at Old Trafford until summer 2015 plus a buy out claus of £100 million or he will move to Barcelona for £85 million.

If he moves to Barcelona then SAF will buy both Silva/Villa from Valencia for a combined fee of £55 million. The only reason Silva isn't coming in january is because he wants to stay in Spain just to ensure that he will get into the Spain team in the World Cup.

Sullivan is still interested in buying West Ham United! After their impressive performance that got them a draw against chelsea Sullivan has increased his interest in the hammers. Rumours have it that Curbishley might also get the manager's job at West Ham again and Zola will be gone. This will depend on certain board members getting the boot (such as Nani) as they caused him to leave the hammers in the first place. As for transfer targts, I have nne. However, Sullivan knows that West Ham need three players t help bolster their team. This would incluse a right back, cente back and als a striker. The current owners want around £80, 000, 000 for the club which Sullivan may be tempted to pay. Sullivan will be able to help West Ham gain the financial stability that the club desperatley needs, as he did with Birmingham fc! It's looking good for the hammers!

The Banter on here is getting boring. its either Rangers and Celtic. Scottish VS English, United, Liverpool or Birmingham and Villa.

Anyway Rumours.

Liverpool? probably no–one. Rafa needs to go for the sake of the club, if they miss out on the champions league that's a hell of alot of revenue going down the pan, as well as an already heated financial stature.

Arsenal? i never have a clue who they're going to buy, lets face it Arsene is a GENIUS, last year i said they would get YAYA in January, how wrong was i? anyway not a frigging clue.

Chelsea? i reckon Gatusso and Toni on a free then whoever and whatever they want. maybe Aguero?

United? never really been MASSIVE January spenders, maybe an all around Defender so might go in for Richards or someone of alike for like calibre.

Manchester City? probably bid for everyone and end up with a past his 'best' decreasing quality.

oh and why the HELL did Hughes get the sack, he was doing fine there, top quality manager who was unlawfully dismissed, i really do hope Manchester City finish in the bottom half. and that Hughes gets the compensation he deseves. Manchester City you've lost all respect of which was very little i had for you.

Darlington will go into administration and be forced in accepting a ground share with Hartlepools.

Silent Stan is only 17 shares away from an official bid. Jan 4th will be the day it all happens. expect a few areas to be addressed but not too much change in the squad. Fabregas will not be sold to Barca as they will cool their efforts for a few years as steven gerrard will be off there soon. out: Senderos and Silvestre. In: Rafael Toloi, Micah Richards and Mario Balotelli. Once again Man City will be splashing the cash but i expect 4 of the summer arrivals to leave in the next few weeks. Liverpool may find themselves a team short of a squad if Rafa gets the elbow.stevie G will be off to Barca who in the wake of the fallout at the kop see him as better value than Mach who will be off to City. torres will probably go to city too.

Liverpool to bid £15m for Gareth Barry. AC Milan to bid £27m for Carlos Tevez. Arsenal to bid combined 20m for Craig Bellemy and Shay Given. Santa Cruz to Tottenham or Everton for £9m. Robinho will stay for the season at least as Barcelona pulled out of a deal...G–man

I don't know if half the people watch football who post on this website but if you haven't noticed Rafael Van Der Vaart has started the past 5 games for Real Madrid and he has said he has no intentions of leaving RM.
Masch, Gerrard, Torres, Benayoun, Kuyt , Skrtel, Johnson, Aquilani etc WILL NOT BE LEAVING !!! so stop posting rubbish about Torres 60 million move to city or glen johnsons 10 million move to west ham who incidently don't have 10 milion.
Mascherano will not be leaving because barcelona want to sign Fabregas and Robinho.
Liverpool to sign Toni and RVN on free and loan respectively.
Rafa to go as team has not progressed since the 05 heroics. Lucas is a GOOD player, he is only 22 and wait another 5 years everyone will be saying how good he is!

Whoever said Kieren westwood moving to Leicester or Blackpool for 800, 000, what a load of rubbish. If he is to move it will be to a premier league club for at least £3 mill.!! Signings for Cov, Mackail–Smith from Peterborough and Andrew Driver from Hearts.

NEWS JUST IN!!

Following Craig Bellamy handing his transfer request, a number of clubs are hot on the heels of the Welshman. It looks unlikely a deal will be struck in January, I could only see Arsenal maybe going for him, have heard from aquaintance (not really a friend, hes a bit of a dick) that he could be making an eye–brow lifting return to the North East. Well... i am sceptical, but never say never, and this guy is often right.

Expect Mancini to bolster up the defence and midfield as they just do not meet the standards of their attack. Wouldn't be surprsied to see Maicon arrive from Inter, possibly a cheeky bid for Cambiasso or Muntari.

Another loss will spell the end for Rafa, even the fans have lost patience now, expect Moyes to make a sensational switch across Merseyside, and expect Everton not to let go of this one. I epxect many people to say hopw this wouldn't happen. Ok... have your piece, just wait and see!!

GOLD––SULLIVAN––BRADY[part time] TO TAKE OVER THE PALACE IN NEXT 2 WEEKS THATS HOW CLOSE THEY ARE BEFORE THE BAILIFFS COME KNOCKING

"Several players in the City squad are understood to be angry and disenchanted, with some saying openly in the dressing room on Saturday that they were unsure about the Mancini appointment, especially given the controversial circumstances under which he took over."

Why have Man City appointed Mancini? His record is shocking and he has only managed Italian teams who are more technical and are of lesser quality generally. I think it's a shocking decision and it already seems that quite a few players will be looking for moves away from the club come January. I hated Mark Hughes but can't see what Mancini can do to improve results. They are a much of a muchness.

Craig Bellamy is one of those who's looking for a move away and Birmingham are waiting in the wings. Obviously this is subject to the player being interested in a move to the Second City.

However Birmingham have also begun discussions with Germany striker, Kevin Kuranyi, and if as is thought Bellamy asks for ridiculous wages. Birmingham are prepared to pay 70k a week (paper talk) for the Brazilian born player.

Birmingham are prepared to pull out all the stops for Kuranyi who would be seen as the 'marquee' signing the Birmingham owners are after. He is also much younger and is less erratic than Bellamy.

The obvious signings for Birmingham will be the captures of – Kris Boyd, and Michel.

One player who won't be joining the club is Sol Campbell.

""To the people who saying man city new transfer targets are so and so player!!!! how on earth are you supposed to know who he is after when he only came to city last night?""
dear sir with no name,
mancini knew he was coming to man city a few weeks ago. at least 1 month if what ngiak has heard is to be believed. ngiak understands that as part of the deal he has drawn up for himself, he has requested a list of players. however, he will give the present crop a chance to prove themselves. ngiak also has reason to believe that mancini believes that many of the current crop are resting on their laurels after getting their retirement pay packet and only turn up for the big games. and the deal also states that man city MUST at least qualify for europa league.

Just a quick pointer for a post last week – Sheff Weds will not be bought by Def Leppard, for starters only one of the band is a Weds supporter (and that's only because he was rejected by Utd as a schoolboy!). The others (Joe Elliott especially) are ardent Utd supporters and wouldn't give Hillsborough the steam off their p! Trust me, I know the guys and while they may be big footie fans, that's how it will stay. They spend too much time in America and Japan to get their moneys worth out of attending games!
As for rumours of Coloccini, Taylor, Nolan and Carroll being sold by NUFC in January. Won't happen – not unless a huge bid is made. Despite all the crap with Ashley and the Boardroom, the side is harmonious for the first times in years and enjoying their romp to a Championship title. The likes of Coloccini, Nolan, Taylor, Carroll etc will stay on to A)Be the first players in 16 years to actually win a cup for Utd B)Play in the Premiership with the club under new ownership for 2010/11.
Newcastle may sign Harewood on a permanent deal. He was given a standing ovation as he left the pitch yesterday and has become a fans favourite. Slight possibility Jack Wilshere may be loaned to NUFC too. Would be good for him to pick up a Championship medal so early on in his career and he'd also get first team football which Wenger says is essential for his loan out. No major signings though in Jan, Hughton will not be given funds by Ashley. Loan deals will be the key as they already have a strong squad and wouldn't want to unsteady the ship ala Keegan and his acquisition of Batty/Asprilla when they were 13pts top of the Premier with a game in hand!
Nottingham Forest – now pushing for automatic promotion, Expect a few quid to be released with moves for Bale and Shorey certainly on the cards. Forest can see the Premiership in their sights for the first time in many years. Doughty will not let this opportunity pass, given that they were knocking around in League One just 2 seasons ago!) and release funds having been impressed by the football Billy Davies has produced so far this season.
Dark days ahead for Derby though with limited resources and Clough's tenure to be considered to be coming to an end come May. Much more was expected from this season by the Rams.

Whilst I wasn't at the meeting at Anfield tonight, some scraps of information have filtered through from sources who were there (not HP or Heinz, Mr. Dyson–Perrins if you must know lol!)

What has come out is an agreement – that Rafa and the board have all got it disastrously WRONG. Rafa has been handed an option to go in January and would be paid a handsome fee to leave, and Rafa will discuss this with his legal team.

Christian Purslow may be moved sidewards to oversee new investment, or may go out of the picture altogether as he was asked 'what do you do' by an attendee and did not give an overly convincing account of his MD duties.

In summary:

Rafa Benitez to leave in January or May 2010 at the latest. The longer he stays, however, the less money Gillett and Hicks will pay.

Gillett and Hicks to 'review operations' at the club. This may mean they are bailing out and will be sending a marketing team to the Middle East in order to court a significant buyer for the club, and who has real financial clout (step forward Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al–Thani).

Players will leave in January –

YOSSI BENAYOUN – wanted across Stanley Park at Everton, although Spurs and Birmingham City want him too.

PEPE REINA – Chelsea want him as their new 1st choice Goalkeeper and will bid £15m+ for him in January.

DIRK KUYT – wanted by Villa, Spurs and Real Madrid.

ANDRIY VORONIN – loan move to Rangers in January, and will then move to Zenith St. Petersburg in Summer.

GLEN JOHNSON – going to West Ham for £10m if the Gold/Sullivan deal goes through.

DANIEL AGGER – going to PSV Eindhoven or Bayer Leverkusen.

STEVE GERRARD – BIG MARQUEE SIGNING FOR MAN. CITY £75 million.

Liverpool will re–invest the money from the Gerrard deal in new players and youth.

Jay Spearing – Cardiff Loan
Nathan Ecclestone – Swansea Loan
Martin Kelly – Sheffield United Loan
Stephen Darby – Preston NE Loan
Steve Irwin – Huddlesfield Town Loan
David Amoo – Burton Albion Loan

All loans are January–March or January–May inclusive.

With renewed interest in investment, construction of Liverpool's new stadium looks to be relatively imminent, expect it to be finished by 2014 at the latest, this financial boost will translate into the team as well. Part of this means that Liverpool will be looking to invest heavily in young talent this summer, with targets including Marko Marin, Iker Muniain, Eljero Elia, Ryan Shawcross, Cesar Azpilicueta, Luis Suarez, Romelu Lukaku and Javi Martinez. Expect Torres to receive endless offers, but to reject all of them. Rafa will be trusted to continue, with a few squad strengthening acquisitions in January with Toni possibly coming in for free, RVN on loan, and Parker all strong possibilities, although only 1 of RVN and Toni will come in. Rumours also suggest that Liverpool have approached Lille and Marseille, offering Babel in exchange for Eden Hazard and Hatem Ben Arfa respectively. In other rumours, expect Barca to get Fabregas at all costs, ManU to try and nab Rodwell, and Chelsea to buy back Carlton Cole, who they see as a long term replacement for Drogba.

'Manchester City Breaking News.. Brian Kidd thought he was the new assistant manager another COCK UP by GARY COOK Mancini will announce an ex premiership player in Viali ???? maybe.. COOK the media circus is out to get you next you won't last the season'

As somebody who knows Coc err Cook, I concur that the guy is a grade A pillock but he's an 'useful idiot' for Sheikh N. Stevens et al so he's got his feet under the table for a good while yet sorry to say.

Gerrard in as the marquee signing in January – excess of £65m.

Hearts News

Romanov had apparently asked Laszlo to show that he could "walk the walk" before parting with any January cash.

As a result of yesterday's game against Celtic, Romanov is now prepared to back his head–coach. Watch for news coming out of Tynecastle this week regarding a (maximum) £2million transfer kitty for January.

Newcastle are set to boost their striking options with the £5m signings of Marlon Harewood and Kevin Kyle

Janko, micel say yes to b, ham hart also wants to sign now hughes has moved on should not be a problem, a big suprise will be the signing of VICTOR MOSES yeung will pay all the fee up front as palace are cash strapped and if sully and gold are buying palace they will grab the money

RANGERS NEWS. Whoever posted that rangers will sign beckford from leeds absolute rubbish, fulham , wigan , everton are all willing to pay 2.5m for him! We have 30m plus debt we will be lucky to hold onto our players we will not be buying ANY players. Rothen is returning to france we may bring in another loan deal instead of him but our squad is very thin on the ground, celtic possibly might bring in 2–3 players plus the korean guy.Our subs arent good enough for the 1st team a few injurys plus bouggie away to africa for 5 weeks won't help. celtic still have maloney, brown to come back the seasons a long slog and celtic have a lot more strength in deepth . sean st ledger and kilgallon in for caldwell and mcmanus will improve celtic.DAVIS TO FULHAM 4M, KYLE[KILMARNOCK]400K in jan window!

After yesterdays gritty performance Wenger has realised that Arsenal needs another powerful combative midfielder.Apart from Diaby Arsenal are a bit fragile.Wenger will look at the availability of Inler £15m, Witsel £10m or the cheaper option of Matuidi £7m.A towering defender will be looked at Subotic £15m, Tasci £10m or Zapata £8–10m.Best bet is Zapata as he is right sided defender.Wenger stuggled with Gallas and Toure both right footed players.Vermaelen was bought to add balance left sided player.Huntelaar would be a good aquisition but Arsenal need a good quick striker who could be a target man and stretch defences.Chamakh would be good addition for free. One point i need to add is that Theo Walcott is showing no signs of development, he has pace but lacks composure and technical awareness.Wenger has shown alot of faith but patience will soon run out.Wenger Should bring in Hazard of Lille is a real star in the making.Has the skill and quality of Cristiano Ronaldo which Walcott lacks.Wenger thought of signing him but said he should be left to develop for one more year he will be signed in the summer for £8m.This Belgian will be on the world stage very soon

Manchester City Breaking News..

Brian Kidd thought he was the new assistant manager another COCK UP by GARY COOK Mancini will announce an ex premiership player in Viali ???? maybe.. COOK the media circus is out to get you next you won't last the season

Torres will not leave Liverpool, even if they fail to finish 4th.

Big change at Manchester city, as robiniho has had enough and will make a shock move to real Madrid (his former club) in a direct swap deal with benzema. He wants to leave as he wanted to go to chelsea in the first place, he had the flight booked to London when he originally arrived, not Manchester. He only went to man city as his agent changed his mind at the last minute, as city offered a much larger wage for robiniho, and a larger agents fee to (that's why man citys agents fee was so high) so he went to man city. This may happen in January, or the summer. However if this falls through, he will go to Italy to either inter Milan or ac Milan.

Mancini also wants to get rid of a few of the players who could turn out to be a problem like adebayor and bellamy who have a bad attitude. Toure also wants out, so mancini will look for a strike partner for Tevez, and Santa cruz will be back up. Possible signing may be: two of the following CBs – puyol, upson, alex, s. taylor and agger. A RB – maicon or d. alves.
A playmaker – silva, benayoun, van der vaart or Diego. And
a striker or two – gilardino, iaquinta, henry, higuan or, a shock move for ibrahemavic, not settled at barca, was peeved of at being left out of el Classico till after half time and they he and Mancini worked together at inter in the past.

Steven gerrard will leave liverpool for 40million, he has fallen out with rafa over his groin injury. he wants the op now so to be fit for the world cup and benitez won't let him have it till end of the season.aquilani is only on loan for 1.5million and roma are paid by appearances only.
