Spearing is keen to join a club that can guarentee him 90 minutes a week.(10)(11)With mm always playing his favs (henry o hara) i doubt he wud get 90 mins every weekDidn't want to come at start of season - so there's no way we want him nowSo he wants 90 mins football a week and

Wigan boss Roberto Martinez has told chairman Dave Whelan that he wants to sign goalkeeper Dean Gerken from Bristol City in January. Gerken is available on a free transfer in the summer so Martinez may get the former Colchester stopper at a much lower price.(2)(9)That would be great. We get James for two seasons - lose Henderson - Now Gerkin is off. James with no hint of competition at all. City are doomed.Mcinnes will release James in January I hpoe and Gerken signed up. Sheffield United will sign Charlton defender Gary Doherty on loan till january as cover for Neill collins and Harry Maguire.(0)(8)Oh lordy, good luck with that, cover your eyes if you sign him and he gets to play, he was well past his sell by date when he left Norwich 16 months ago, clumsy, slow and gets pulled out of position so easily, clangers a certainty.

19 Oct 2011 17:57:52
Following the departure of McInnes to Bristol City, Paul Sturrock will turn down the opportunity to return to Plymouth to take the reins at his old club St Johnstone. Having led them to success in the mid 90's Sturrock would relish the chance to take on the SPL.(7)(8)Luggy's going to Plymouth - David Weir to St. Johnstone as a player/manager.Sturrock isnt going anywhere.

Hes very fine at Southend.

Spurs will snap up Abel Hernandez, Leandro Damiao, Christian Eriksen, Hummels and Marvin Martin in january and in the summer. FACT(10)(35)Is that the same erikson that said he would only go to barca or spain and the same hummels thats with the german champs lol

not FACT
DAVIEBHOY08Thats not a FACT its your opinion and I disagree. HaWould love it to be a fact but sadly it's not. Each would be hard targets to obtain to get all would be a miracle.
I think we might get Leandro due to our relationship with Internacional, but I think we might get three players tops in JanNone of these players will sign. FACT.And AFC Wimbledon will get Ronaldo , Messi & Casillas .. dreaming!Eriksen, hummels and martin- no chance
Hernandez and Damiao- possible. just possible. We have an affiliation with damiaos club that means we have first refusal on their players, and I think we made a bid for hernandez in the summerNot a chance maybe damiao none of the others. it wud b nice if we did pull it off we wud neva part with the cash cos levy cud peel an orange in his pocket tight bast##rdWhen posters use FACT you just know they're full of it.

It doesn't really matter where Paul Sturrock lives.

The fact is when James Brent takes over Plymouth the Club will start a new dawn and start afresh.

I'm not one to speculate or bulls but the club in which his heart is most in is Plymouth Argyle and if he deems moving Argyle forward as the thing to do then thats what he'll do.

If Coughlan is offered the manager's job at Home Park it will be a step up from what he's doing now which is an unnofficial assistant Manager.

Remember when Brian kidd left Man Utd for Blackburn. It was a step up in position if not the level of success.

As I say Plymouth will be starting from scratch and financially will be fine for the foreseeable future,

Thge same cannot be said of Southend who still have the same bosses in place.will they be equipped to deal with League 1 if they go up or even the Championship.(7)(6)Well it seems you want to speculate...

Plymouth can do better.

What I mean by that is, Plymouth clearly want experience to get them out of the drop zone, someone whos the modern game and is expericed, unlike Reid who is a dinosaur in management.

That isnt Coughlan is it, he has said he wants to stay at Southend, hes maturing well, he will leave one day but not yet.

19 Oct 2011 14:43:55
Portsmouth will be appointing Steve Claridge as manager until end of the season Steve Claridge has been intalks with CSI over the last couple of days(9)(20)Steve Claridge is moving to a job in football, but it's not as manager of Portsmouth.

The Pompey job is between Dave Jones, Glenn Roeder and Alan Curbishley - although Curbs is hoping to take the West Ham job if Big Sam takes over from Crapello as England boss. Dave Jones is likely to get the nod, despite managing the Saints during the late 1990s.

I know where Claridge will end up, but can't say where as it may jeopardise a takeover at the club where he will end up as chairman (but in name only - he's not investing money). Claridge is leaving the BBC due to falling out with Manish Bhasin and Mark Clemmitt.

19 Oct 2011 14:27:10

This will allow Manager-to-be Derek McInnes to bring in his current Assistant at St Johnstone, Tony Docherty.(9)(3)

19 Oct 2011 11:59:38
Paul Sturrock will leave Southend United next week to take up the position of Director of Football at Plymouth Argyle.(16)(12)I have heard that genuinly. Where did you hear that from?Believe it or not a Southend United fan!To the original poster of this piece - Did a Southend fan tell you this or is this Doggy-doo?This is false. He now lives in Southend and will not be going back there.Sturrock loves Plymuff !! But he would be a fool to leave Southend and take over that shower, yes they may well come out of administration, they still wont have a pot to piss in and the next time they are in administration they will have no assetts after the sale of the ground !!He will be returning because he still has a house in plymouth.Sturrock still has his house in Devon. He is not a well man, and I believe that he would return to Plymouth. Southend remain in dire financial difficulty and struggle to pay players, bills etc, and the promised new stadium is now years late in even starting to get built. All in all, a fresh start at Plymouth would be good for Luggy.Your not update are you?

Southend are now funded by Sainburys and a new director aswell so just your fact rights there.

The stadium yes but thats stating the obvious.

And no it would not be a fresh start, hes been there twice. He has a job at Southend and will NOT be leaving.

This site is funny at times. Are you sure, funded by Sainsbury's? No, you owe Sainsbury's money for the 'advance' they have paid you towards selling them Roots Hall. A completed stadium was promised 2 years ago and a brick hasn't been laid. And it would be another 'fresh start' at Plymouth, as it is being dragged out of administration with a new owner and money to expand. Do keep up. I do agree this site is funny at times.I know my own club thank you so no reason to keep up. I take it your a Plymouth fan? Stick to your own club before spouting rubbish you dont know half about.

It two part deal, they get roots hall, they fund the club until the team move.

I cant see how it would be a fresh start. Same stadium same fans same setting. Thats not a fresh start, just a fresh return. You really don't know your club - and I am not a PA fan! Sainsbury's are not backing Southend - they have paid an advance on the price for Roots Hall - you owe them the money! Sainsbury's fund you until you move - don't be stupid, do you really believe that?

19 Oct 2011 09:32:25
Any news for Birmingham City ED? In or Out, Hughton keeps talking about exloitig the loan market yet nothing is happening. Beausejour has picked up some great form in both the league and in Europe and i fear we may lose the likes of him during the window.

Also Ed, will you have any info on prespective buyers or consortius for the club as ruours in the local press suggest there are interested parties but i'm not sure how it would work with Carson Yeung being in the slammer and not being let out of the country

What a mess, makes other teams moaners look like cry babies :-) ! {Ed001's Note - I was told that Brum are struggling to match the loan fees and wages needed to bring in players they want. There was talk of some more youngsters from Arsenal, Sanchez Watt was one name I was given as a possible, but money seems to have stopped anything happening. There are a number of interested parties, I am told, but I have not been able to get any info on them at all, judging from previous club sales though, most will be timewasters, they always are.}(3)(5)Cheers Ed, Appreciated. I had heard a rumour a few weeks back that there was talk of a consortium headed by Legend Trevor Frcis and Comedian Jasper Carrott along with other big wigs. Do you know anything that would rule this out or anything like that? {Ed001's Note - certainly nothing that would rule that out, I know Jasper Carrott is very keen to be a part of the future of the club.}

barnsley set to sign billy paynter on a 3 month deal with option of a permanent switch in january(7)(13)Thats funnny wen he was training with pne todayWhoever gets Billy will be quids in, he is a quality player who holds the ball well and works his butt off.... he was class in his last two seasons at Swindon... we never wanted him to go to dirty leeds !Check LUFC OS they have had contact from a L1 side and confirm he will not go to a championship rival, so Barnslet OUT.

Liam Boyce is contemplating a deal from Norwich City after being released from Werder Breman... My opinion is that he may have to go out on loan to the championship but may be worth a gamble on a free.(4)(8)

18 Oct 2011 23:25:22
James Brent will hopefully own Plymouth Argyle by the weekend.

To make up for his lack of knowledge on football he will move for Paul Sturrock as Director of football.

He'll give Luggy licence to appointment the team management - most likely to be a partnership of Graham Coughlan and Carl Fletcher.

Luggy has the experience, Coughlan is over a year down the line in his coaching education and has Luggy for a mentor and Flecher is very much a beginner in his trade. But like Coughlan has popularity.

A good blend.

Up the Greens(6)(3)All supporters of our great game wish good fortune for the Pilgrims - best of luck, a Saints fan

18 Oct 2011 23:01:13
Plymouth fan here.

James Brent will approach Southend for the services of Paul Sturrock.

Brent widely admits he lacks knowledge on the playing side so Sturrock fits the bill for him in a Director of Football capacity.

Brent will allow Sturrock the licence to appoint the new management team should he agree to a return.

Amd has been mentioned many times on here Luggy is certain to go for a partnership of Graham Coughlan and Carl Fletcher.

This 3-pronged team has experience and youth and popularity.

It is believed Sturrock and Coughlan would only be keen on a return to Devon if the takeover is complete and hopefully it will now be so before our game against Swindon on saturday.(4)(5)False, he now lives in Southend and will not be coming back.

Why would he a leave who will be League 1 next year to a team playing the likes of Braintree and Hayes and Yeading? Next year,

18 Oct 2011 22:38:57
Plymouth fan in celebration at today's news.

Thank you to all those who have supported us. And to those who supported from afar.

In agreement with what was said by I suspect a plymouth supporter on this site not so long ago.

James Brent does lack knowlege of football on the playing side and that's why when the takeover is finally signed, sealed and delivered Paul Sturrock will be approached via his chiefs at Southend to come home as Director of Football.

Brent made sure Sturrock was sounded out by Peter Ridsdale after the Southend/Plymouth game recently.

And if Sturrock agrees on returning he will be given the licence By Brent to appoint the team Management.

And in the frame is a Carl Fletcher/Graham Coughlan partnership.

Both Luggy and Coughlan are keen to return so long as the takeover was finalised.

In Luggy, Fletch and Cough it brings about experience and youth and popularity.

And that day is now looming and hopefully it will all be tied up by Saturdays home game with Swindon.(6)(3)

18 Oct 2011 17:57:28
Hooray at last: The plymouth takeover has today taken a giant step closer to completion. Well done Mr Brent and hopefully the finishing touches to the deal will run smoothly.

I would also imagine things are now close to being sorted regarding the team management. If we can sort this also soon then I'm quite optimistic we can stay in this league.

I'm still hearing Paul Sturrock is the favoured choice to head the football department in an upstairs role with Carl Fletcher and Graham Coughlan running the team.

I have heard consistently on the grapevine that this will happen once the takeover is sealed.(8)(8)

Versatile Defender Gary Doherty will be signing for spurs on a coaching contract. It is believed that Harry Redknapp wants him as a defensive and offensive coach as he has many years of experience under his belt of playing as both an influencial Centre Half for Charlton and Norwich and his striker days at spurs.
Chris Powell gutted to be losing his commanding centre back.
Watch this space.

Source: Clive Allen(6)(21)Spoke to Docherty about this (at Charlton's training ground Sparrows Lane) after hearing it also, he wouldn't give too much away apart from that big Harry Redknapp has contacted him.....Spoke to Gary 5 minutes ago, he said he speaks to Redknapp quite a lot as they have some of the same friends etc, he hasnt spoken about coaching. He will only move once he hangs up his boots, if he goes to another club in a coaching capacity it will be when he cant play anymore. He hopes he has another 2 seasons after this one, fitness permitted!

18 Oct 2011 11:59:06
Christian Eriksen set to be signing for Liverpool in the January window. The midfielder is set for a multi-million pound deal to Anfield in the region of £20 million, that willl see Fabio Aurelio going in the opposite direction as part of the deal.

Christian Eriksen hopes to establish himself as one of the worlds greats in front of players like Steven Gerrard.

Source: Amsterdam Paper De Telegraaf(21)(28)With Adam, Gerrard, Lucas, Henderson, Downing, Maxi, Kuyt, Spearing, Shelvey, Sterling, etc...all fighting for midfield positions i can only see Eriksen coming in if someone leaves.I thought Eriksen didnt want to move to England? I heard something about him wanting to wait for the Galacticos or other European giants. I suppose people change.
wallyI've just looked in de Telegraaf and I can't find this supposed article. And, yes I'm Dutch so I understand what's being written.Eriksen will join spurs next summer deal in place from last windowI wud love a young talent like eriksen 2 go 2 the mighty yodds but i cant c him playing in england let alone at spurs

wolves r 2 get rid of MM and bring in Martin O'Neill. he has been brilliant on getting us up but his time has come. Also, wolves should be spending money on players to improve the team(21)(17)I hope its true time for mm to go but be honest do you think morgan and moxey got the bas to do itWolves and MM deserve each other, both dull and boring..He is doing his best with the squad he has, its not his fault he cant spend money.

He spent big on Doyle, Fletcher, O'hara, Johnson and so on and they're not really doing it. As good as Doyle is, he does nnot score enough goals to cover his value, same as fletcher, O'Hara injury prone and not great, loves a relegation battle, Johnson was only good with Dann and Carr either side of him at birmingham and has been found out. These players were supposed to take Wolves to the next level, they havent. Wolves are garbage, so is MM. Live with it"its not his fault he cant spend money"
yes he can spend money i remember morgn stating that they were willing to break the transfer record. It was mm who said he was happy with the team. also mm has pent good money on poor players

OWEN COYLE last night backed Derek McInnes as the perfect man to transform Bristol City's fortunes.

The St Johnstone boss was interviewed yesterday by the Championship's bottom club and is in a two-way fight with Mark Robins for the job.

Bolton manager Coyle, who made his name at McDiarmid Park before leaving for Burnley, insists his close pal would thrive at Ashton Gate and reckons they could soon be locking horns in the Premiership.

With a £30million new stadium in the pipeline at a club with huge potential Coyle believes Bristol City and McInnes are made for each other.

He said: "Bristol are a massive club. The catchment area is vast and they have enormous potential. Okay they're not in a good place right now but addressing that will be the new manager's priority.

"But everything is in place for them to go on to become a Premiership club. They have plans for a new stadium next season and it is a marvellous opportunity for whoever they go for.

"The job is perfect for a young and ambitious manager and if they opt for Derek they will be getting a man I know well, having taken him to Perth as player-coach.

"His work ethic is immense and he is a real players' manager.

"Heading to England would be the natural progression for Derek and Bristol would be getting a great boss.

"Look at the work he has done at Perth. He has shown an eye for a player at St Johnstone and it's no surprise Bristol are considering him for the job. He would take the club forward."

McInnes, who was granted permission by chairman Geoff Brown to speak to the Robins, plans to return north for a closed-doors game today as he awaits news from down south.

One City player who'd love to see him on board is ex-Aberdeen and Hearts star Jamie McAllister.

The full-back reckons McInnes can lead the Championship strugglers up to the top flight and said: "This would be a great move for Derek and a fantastic appointment by the club.

"I spoke to Paul Hartley and Allan Preston about McInnes and they could not speak of him highly enough.

"Bristol City are a massive club with huge potential and I would love the chance to work with him.

"We reached the play-offs in 2008 but lost to Hull. With McInnes at the helm we could hopefully go one better and reach the Premier League."

COME ON CITY WAKE UP FULLY BACK HIM, GIVE HIM THE JOB.(16)(9)

Wolves Chairman Morgan Has Given Mick Mccarthy One More Game, If Wolves Fail To Beat Swansea Mccarthy Will Be Sacked, And Replaced By, Benitez,Poyet,Hughes, butt the most likely will be mallorca manager Joaquin Caparros,(4)(19)Joaquin Capparos will never become manager of Wolves, not in this stage! He just sign a deal with Mallorca and he has plans with club. So don't dream about Caparros.

Benitez? He's to big name for Wolves. Maybe Hughes, but i think McCarthy will be manager for a while. This wont happen. Not a hope in hell. They have to much blind faith in MM. Any drongo can see we need a change of management and that means get rid of Terry Connor as well.

Heard from a very good source at Bournemouth th Chairman Eddie Mitchell is in financial trouble with his own building company and is using money from Bournemouth fc and putting it into off shore account s be prepared for some bad news bournemouth fans and soon.(19)(6)Mitchell has had six previous companies that have all gone bust and he doesnt care. i believe this rumourMitchell has had 6 companies in the past that have gone bust all in the building industry and his current company is called Seven builders which reflects the previos six that have gone out of business. I would be seriously worried Bournemouth fans.To the OP - where have you heard this (links/people) as there is no mention of this story on any AFCB forum.

I don't doubt that the story could be true - and a knock-on effect could be that EM tries to get his money back from Dorchester Town FC - but until I see something more solid (perhaps in the next few days?) then I cannot totally believe this rumour.I know someone very senior at the club and i cannot reveal names as it will cause him a major problem and me with the relationship ok you have heard these sorts of stories before from people saying they know someone but believe me this is true. I wouldnt put a rumour on here like that im not a Bournemouth supporter and i quite like Bournemouth as a team and im not a fan either from a local rival but i am very close to someone at Bournemouth fc.This has ben rumoured for almost all of 2011 so isn't really new. You'd have to question why the 'very senior person' at the club hasn't done the right thing and informed the authorities. Not doing that makes the very senior person party to it.

Watford will sack Dyche when they lose to Leicester on tuesday night!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Having spoken to Graham Taylor on a number of occassions I know Watford would be reluctant to sack Dyche. I think it is more likely that another manager will be bought in with Dyche being offered a coaching job. After seeing how poorly Aidy has done elsewhere I for one wouldn't be happy with him back at the Vic.(7)(3)I would like dyche to stay as he has shown loyaltiy to us we should do the same to him. Bring in a manager with a bit more no how i think dyche will be a good manager in time.I like Sean Dyche a lot but I think it is maybe a step too far for him at the moment. I think Boothroyd would certainly give the Vic a bit more of a buzz. I would be happy if he came back.

17 Oct 2011 12:38:25
Fergie has finally released he cannot cope without Scott Rendell and will walk away from the club if they do not fund the transfer to bring him back to London Road. Brighton are reportedly looking at £400,000 rated Craig Reid from Stevenage. The striker has hit 4 goals in 11 games and is the mould that Poyet is looking for to support CMS up front. There is competition for his signature in January from Reading however which could prove to be a stumbling block.(12)(14)

big 14 days for bristol city, the result of the judicial review is due by 28/10/11, if positive news martin oneil will by appointed as manager, if negative news derek mcinnes will be appointed,(4)(24)Is this the review into the new stadium? Also, what is happening to the Gas - are they getting their new ground built? We got to wait 12 days for an appointment? Surely not. McInnes by end of this week.Yes judicial review is regarding new ground, they have had very positive feed back from bcc, which have been told by the court (cardiff court) which are dealing with the judicial review,Not a chance, Martin O'Neil will not come back into football below premiership level - especially not to Bristol City.
It's a school day tomorrow, shouldn't you be in bed by now

16 Oct 2011 10:17:41
Saunders will break up the O'Driscoll team by January, with the midfield players Coppinger, Gillet & Oster being the first out the door in the January window.
Followed by Stock, & O'Connor should O'Driscoll get another Championship club.
Parkin isn't interested in staying after the loan spell unless things change apparently & Sharp is being now approached by Leeds United as well as Southampton, so he may yet get the opportunity in the Premiership.
Saunders wants the team to be another Stoke City & kick their way out of League 1 next year then continue towards the Premiership.
Problem is the team will lose an awful lot of supporters who want to see a winning team, but not at all costs, & five years under O'Driscoll saw quality football.
RTID(2)(15)I don't think we'd approach Sharp after some of the things he said when we last bid for him. He has no respect. And he was a no-show on Friday night. Southampton could though, thats pretty likely.
wallyYou haven't got an awful lot of supporters to lose in the first place :-)What are you talking about? Why would leeds want to sign sharp? we have lots of other strikers most of whom are better than him....mccormack made your boys look like mugs ps you are very welcome to take paynter off of usStoke didnt kick their way out of anywhere, direct football yes kicking no

16 Oct 2011 09:59:26
Right Leeds fans, here's what you've all been waiting for - lowdown on the Jonny Howson transfer situation. This comes from a friend who works at the club.

Apparentley Howson has no issue with the money being offered (5k pay rise) but is waiting to see what sort of state the club are in towards the middle of the season as he has Premier League ambitions. The gist I got is that its considered pretty likely he'll sign by the club.(4)(17)Is your friend the club accountant??players contracts are private, this smells like b/s to me.Howson is not Premiership class, his form this season has been hot & cold, more cold actually. In that case he should sign now...13 points from 15 were going up!Original poster here - I'll refer you to the YEP interview with Howson today. He states as much.

16 Oct 2011 04:51:23

Having recently landed Peruvian 'wonderkid' Pier Larrauri, Leicester City are again set to trump the big boys with the signing of a second prodigious talent from South America.
Not sure yet WHO the target is, but believe him to be 16/17, Chilean and has been 'watched' by a number of Europe's top sides!(4)(16)Don't bother , after losing to B'ham you're going nowhere this seasonBirmingham will be a force now you watch. Individually their playes are better than championship quality and they have a manager in Chris Hughton that knows exactly how to unlock teams.

As for Chillean wonderkid joining, i doubt it very much, the only young Chillean that isn't at a top european club murdered Leicester yesterday, hit the apex from 28 yards out and won the penalty. Jean Beausejour will rip this league to pieces!

15 Oct 2011 21:13:09
Habib Beye will leave Aston Villa in January due to not being in Alex McLeish's plans.(18)(7)Beye is on £65,000 p/w .. of course he must go!Beye is old, on big dough and an absolute has been of the highest order! McLeish love this type of player.

McLeish will destroy the scum just like he did with the Blues!

15 Oct 2011 19:57:29
Barnsley midfielder, Jacob Butterfield, who again impressed in their match against Portsmouth on television, is attracting interest from a number of Premier League Clubs. Despite interesting a number of un-named clubs, four teams have already made contact over the skipper. Derby County boss has already said to Keith Hill, current Barnsley boss, 'name your price whilst Steve Bruce of Sunderland, has already apparently made a £1.2 million bid for the Barnsley born playmaker. Top Chilean side Colo Colo are keen to bring in some English talent and believe a bid for Butterfield in high wages could persuade him to move to South America. Finally, Belgian side Gent have also made a enquiry.(4)(20)What this intersting unnamed clubs, if these clubs are unamed, how do people know theyre interested and how do you know theyre interested. Who decides that theyre unnamed.

The lad is a good player but cut the bullst

15 Oct 2011 19:45:53
Wilfried Zaha is looking at the possibility of joining West Brom in January after Roy Hodgson had a bid accepted by Crystal Palace boss Dougie Freedman. The former Liverpool manager made an enquiry about the England under 19 forward and was quoted an undisclosed figure, believed to be around £7 million.(6)(19)Lies, the baggies have no money , the chairman stated that after buying Shane Long. How on earth can you be "quoted an undisclosed sum"

15 Oct 2011 19:45:13
The media are saying the Bristol City job is now a 2 horse race between McInnes and Robins, but O'Driscoll was sat just behind me in the Dolman stand today, so he must still be in contention.(10)(7)

15 Oct 2011 19:45:05
Mcarthy to leave after the Swansea game.
O'Neill to be installed.(27)(14)If only.....O'Neill would want a massive
transfer budget, but useless Morgan
would not give to him or any other manager. It's relegation for certain. Thanks Mick - time to go now.Awww the poor dod heads, how is Roger Johnson working out for ya??

Couldnt happen to a nicer team!

15 Oct 2011 19:41:05
Peterborough United attacker Lee Tomlin is attracting serius interest from Blackpool. Ian Holloway is keen to bring in Tomlin after being in superb form this season. Darren Ferguson has revealed he wouldn't let him go for no less than £1 million.(6)(15)Right, I'm a Peterborough die hard fan and attend every game and it pains me to say that his form has been poor this year. Hopefully his belter against Bristol city today will spark his season alite.Remember this to all teams including peterborough yeah bristol city are poor at mo but teams which have beaten us remember bristol rovers beat us 2.0 at the gate then we beat them at there ground 4.2 just keep this in mindI wasn't saying Bristol are poor, I was just merely stating that Tomlin has not been in great form this year and his goal was undoubtedly quality and enough to ignite anyone's season. To peterborough fan above yeah good goal im a bristol city fan we are poor at mo players dont click goodluck to your team in championship and your team must be good you put 7 past ipswich

15 Oct 2011 18:12:25

15 Oct 2011 16:47:23
Saunders to be sacked after argument with the Chairman last night after the Leeds defeat(5)(15)Donny were humiliated, but thats a bit extreme in my opinion. Of course, sacking O'driscoll is a huge mistake, but thats what happens when you have an idiot in charge.
wallySaunders has done well so far for donny....but they were humilated my the mighty whites!! MOT

15 Oct 2011 15:05:06
Harry Redknapp wants to bring in a Centre Back in January(14)(7)Well thats the opposite of what i have seen, Cahill=no. Ferdinand=no. They only went for Cahill as they thought The King was not going to be fit. Try again.Sean st ledger is available for loan if harry would like him, he needs a little bit of first team actionIt's not really a secret that Spurs are after a centre back, Cahill has been ruled out because of his price and Spurs aren't interested in Ferdinand because they aready have couple of injury prone defenders.
With King now injured and Bassong looking for a move expect Spurs to go back in for Cahill or someone of a similar age but cheaperCahill is number one target

15 Oct 2011 09:30:32
Spurs chasing Villa star Gabby Agbonlahor.
Villa set to offer to bump his contact upto 5 years with £65,000 p/w.
Plus, If any bid is put in .. Agbonlahor is a villa fan so will not leave.(7)(13)If hes anything like his greedy mate bent he will goAgbonlahor is a Villa fan so he will stay?

Oh yeah, thats likely! Just Like Craig Gardner was a Viler? he left. Then he was a Blue nose? he left?

Loyalty counts for nothing, especially someone as mentally 'special' as yamomsawhore!

14 Oct 2011 14:42:46
If van persie stays, Wesley snjuryder to join arsenal.(4)(35)Neither will happen.Schneider and RVP dont get along so not likely

14 Oct 2011 14:40:53
This is what will happen in january.

Van Persie, to leave.
Walcott, to leave.

Jack Wilshere to become captain. As he will stay at the club throughout his career. He is a true born arsenal player.

Players in:
Benzema.
Drogba
Eden Hazard
Adam Johnson
James Milner.

Players i would love to see come in:
David Villa
Adam Johnson.
James Milner.
Eden Hazard.

Players i would hate to see.
Drogba.(6)(43)You are playing fifa , this is not going to happen!Although this is all fantasy, I believe Drogba would have won Arsenal the league last year. Arsenal need a striker who will lead the line and benefit from van Persie and his calling to find space in the channels and out wide, also Drogba is an outstanding defender at set pieces(a high percentage of your goals conceded).Problem is, Arsenal dont just concede from corners, they cant cope with balls into the channels plus, if you put the ball between the keeper and the defence then they probably will have a small dance before it ending up in the back of the net.

Footballing wise, Arsenal layed great last season, the problem is, they are a million miles from the big 3 (Man U, Man City, Chelsea) and they have been overtken by Spurs and Liverpool. Arsenal are about as good as Newcastle at the moment!

14 Oct 2011 13:29:08
