Rubbish. If he hands in a transfer request he will at best either drop to conference level or will play second fiddle to someone else, he is just in a bad run of form at the moment.

Not sure about this Harry Kane rumour. Have we seen enough of him to make this kind of decision following his injury? Surely this is a call that we should be making after we have more information on the player i.e. how does he contend with Prem defences and what sort of numbers does he has at this level.
Ruddy has stated he and his family are settled in Norfolk. However maybe the attraction of knock-out champions league football could tempt me away
Ruddy was at Everton for a long time where he was loaned out a stupid amount of times, he played very few games in a settled side and because of this did not develop as much as he could have. He is now playing week in, week out for a mid table premier league team... His family is settled, he has young children, he has a long term contract and he is in the England squad.
Why would he ruin all this to go and play 5-6 games for Arsenal before being dropped for the returning Scezsney? For once i think i see a sensible footballer whose passion is for playing and what HE can achieve, not sitting on the bench counting the extra money for not playing.

Middlesbough set to follow the loan signing of Stewart Downing, with the £5.5m (plus add ons) capture of Charlie Austin in January. Steve Gibson is prepared to back manager Tony Mowbray in the transfer market if the club are still sitting near the top of the league. To finance the deals, Marvin Emnes will be sold and part of the fee recieved from the Joe Bennett deal will be used. Emnes is expected to command a fee in the region of £4m. Norwich, Wigan and Swansea are believed to be interested.
£5.5m sounds a bit cheap!

I've heard the fee for Austin is £6.5m plus a 20% sell on fee. There's also additional payments for goals scored, appearances and any future international appearances. Source=local news reporter.

Austin looks like a good replacement for Holt i.e. has two feet, an ariel threat and a good shots to goals ratio, however he isn't speedy (like Holt) and he is likely to be expensive plus he is untested at Prem level or at international level. We didn't sign Jay Rodriguez last year who has a similar profile. I like Austin though and he deserves to get a chance in the prem but not at 6.5m. For that sort of money we could probably sign Hooper, Sigthorsson, Bacca or Chamakh all of whom are proven at a higher level. I can see city taking a more risky type of profile for a 3rd or 4th striker who is a youngster but they wont want to pay more than 3m for him. However for someone who expects to be playing every week which on imagines Austin does City will probably want more certainty that they will get return on their investment.
Burnley dont have to sell Austin after offloading J-Rod in the summer (for 7m?). At this point Austin is getting virtually all Burnley's goals so any sale would be a dangerous move for them.
Just because it doesn't make any sense does not mean it wont happen but, it looks doubtful to me.

Burton Albion strikers Calvin Zola and matt Paterson are being monitored with possible summer moves to Coventry City and Notts County respectively.
Would be disasterous for Burton, both strikers are showing good form and along with Billy Kee are playing well and scoring goals. Please stay lads, Up the Brewers!
Calvin would be a massive loss as last night showed without him in the side. not sure about paterson though, certainly not league one standard. we've got to keep billy unless someone tables a big bid.
Think all three could play at a higher level, all bring a different style to Albion all look like they can bag and create goals - apart from last night though lol.

Zola to Coventry has been around for a while. Thought AFCB were interested in Paterson and a return to Leiceter City for Billy kee if he keeps banging in goals like he scored last Saturday. Thing is Albion have good strikers - if they are serious about making a promotion push they need to keep them all until at least the end of the season.
Agreed, to consider letting Zola, Kee or Paterson go in January would be suicide for any promotion/play off chance.
I would be very pleased with zola signing for coventry iff we can sign him and mcgoldrick i think we would have a amazing strikeforce i just wanna know if they are something i can believe the rumour about zola and hope we sing goldie 2

Zola to CC would be an excellent move for the big man. Kee will not return to Leicester or anywhere else he has signed a new 3 year contract! Paterson is an intelligent striker who has scored some very important goals for the Brewers so disagree with above as the lad as also scored in the CCC, L1, L2, the Conf and in Scotland!
But im afraid hes showing nothing like that sort of form now!
He's showing better form than Billy Kee who has been rubbish all season until his game against Daggers last week. I have seen every Burton game this season and Paterson is one of our better players. Kee will never go back to Leicester, but Zola to Coventry could be spot on.
Your having a laugh, billy still isnt 100% fit and to think paterson is one of our better players!
Kee is good, but not having a good season. Zola is good and is having a good season. Patterson is good and needs more starts. They are all good players, why are we even considering letting them go?

Chris Houghton is set to make an audacious £1m bid to reel in Barnsley's talented goalscorer Craig Davies in the January transfer window. Nottingham forest Interested in Spurs Keeper Heurelho Gomes. Forest will launch a bid in January if Lee camp doesn't sign a new deal.
22 Year-old Winger Stephen Mclaughlin has joined forest for a weeks trial with a view to buy in January.
Steve Morrison has also been linked with forest but i don't know much about this deal. It could be a replacement for Dex if he doesn't sign a new deal.

Barnsley are close to signing a midfielder and a forward but are not Brighton pair Ryan Harley and Will Hoskins.
Both players are wanted by Keith Hill but are second resort to the players the Barnsley boss is close to bagging.
The midfielder wanted by Hill is Swansea player Mark Gower. The 34 year old hasn't had a look in since City have been in the Premier League and could sign on loan before Wednesday evening with a view to a full time 18 month contract in the New Year.
The much needed forward Hill has been chasing is Sheffield United hitman Chris Porter. Hill had a scout at Bramall Lane watching Porter score on Saturday against Stevenage and an undisclosed offer for a January move has already been agreed to secure after his loan deal.
Also, Barnsley have made contact over an unkwown Uruguayan football over a potential move from giants Nacional.
Swans should buy marin from CHelsea by 5m this January. Marin is amazing but he doesnt get a chance at chelsea!

Kitson, Miller, Blackman, Cresswell and Cofie are all better than Porter as they can score goals. Porter can only convert the odd cross with a header once a blue moon. Whenever he is one on one with the keeper in the penalty box, he always shoots wide. This is why he has a very bad goals to game ratio with us.

Local Sussex paper the reports today that Barnsley are interested in Brighton's Harley and Hoskins. The report thinks it unlikely that Hoskins would be loaned out since he is currently part of Brighton's match day squad.
Hoskins won't be going anywhere because he is part of poyet's plans 4 this season.
