Manchester United Rumours (87% Real)
1) Ferguson has set his eyes back on At. Madrid superstar, Fernando Torres, bidding 25 Mil pounds + minimum goals incentives.
2) Carrick is a done deal. Senna too.
3) Mascherano is another one on Fergie's shortlist. United will launch a 16 Mil pounds bid on Tuesday - Thursday.

The reason that Curtis Davies has signed a new deal at West Brom, is because he only really wants to play for Man U and at this time there isn't really a place for him. A move to Arsenal would make a move to Man U more difficult and so he wouldn't mind helping West Brom to get promoted. Portsmouth are still intersted in the young English defender and Redknapp will launch a £10 million bid, with a £7 million profit made in a year, Bryan Robson may accept the bid and allow Davies to move on. Redknapp will only launch the bid, if he can't sign Campbell or Upson.

carrick and senna set to sign over next few days. fergie set 2 play 4-2-3-1 formation with carrick and senna sitting infront of back 4. senna to do the 'dirty' work and allow to carrick to feed the 3 attacking players infront of him - Ronaldo, Rooney and Simao.
simao deal to valencia fell thru at last minute coz of uniteds late interest in him and he wud prefer move to OT. the main striker is unclear, possibly saha or trezeguet(loan).

Norwich City to sign Micheal Reddy for £500,000. The Canaries also look to be winning the race to sign Jon Otsemobor from Crewe. Glenn Roeder will complete the signing of Wayne Bridge this week in a deal worth 3 million and the sale of Boumsong to Marseiile for 4 million will help pay for this transfer. Faye will be sold to Charlton for 1.5 million and with the money from the sales of Viana, Chopra and Bowyer which is 4 mililon. Newcastle will also use the money they got for finishing 7th in the league last season which is 8 million which gives Newcastle 13 million to spend. They will use this money for Klose for 7 million and Bridge 3 million and Sol Campbell will sign for a free.

NUFC Update:
OK, we look set on losing FAYE to Charlton as we cant guarantee him first team football. FAYE was one of our better performers during the decent run we had at the end of last season so I expect at least 1.3Mil.
Roeder is currently in talks with a couple of players who he wont name, however one of these is almost certainly DEFOE, once again Spurs cant offer DEFOE guaranteed first team football and its believed he is still gutted about missing out on the World Cup. Expect a deal for around 8Mil + future incentives.
Also Roeder is believed to be talking to a couple of players who are now out of contract. CAMPBELL is certainly one of these although ROEDER will struggle to convince CAMPBELL that the Toon should be his prefered destination. GRAVESEN and TRABELSI have also been mentioned, TRABELSI is widley believed to have spoken to Newcastle and is looking at his options.
So basically CAMPBELL and TRABELSI have offers on the table and Spurs have agreed a fee for DEFOE and we are working on personal terms.
If the DEFOE deal falls through its believed Roeder will turn his attention to BOWDITCH of Ipswich or NUGENT of PNE. Both these players could be temped away from their respective clubs for 3Mil each, a fair chunk of that being paid up on appearances, future international honours etc.
We will start next season with at least 2 new signings along with DUFF. If we fail to land either CAMPBELL or TRABELSI a move for BRIDGE is on the cards, although BRIDGE could be brought in aswell as CAMPBELL or TRABELSI.
WRIGHT PHILLIPS is unlikley to join us now especially if TRABELSI signs, although essentially a right back he has been used to good effect down the right wing and would provide good competition for CARR and SOLANO.
Roeder is a huge fan of AMEOBI and is looking for a striker to play along side him. DEFOE fits the bill perfectly, however both BOWDITCH and to a lesser extent NUGENT, although inexperienced at this level could be drafted in.
Along with FAYE only ELLIOTT and maybe HARPER will leave. BOUMSONG could end up going out on loan as long as his wages are paid in full by any potential suitors.

People I have some REAL news on AFC.
Despite Reyes claiming to the AFC website that he is happy at AFC he is MORE than open to a move back to spain(personal reeasons not footballing ones). Real are weighing up a 14m + Baptista bid for him, THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN! Arsene is no longer interested in 'the beast', he has no room for him, Fabregas cannot be dropped and Gilberto is our DMF and is crucial to the teams defensive performance. AW is more interested in a 22m straight transfer, although it must be admitted he might be swayed by 16m+Robinho but it is unlikely, I have heard that 20m+Woodgate(on season loan with view to permanent deal) may be a possiblilty, AW was interested in Woodgate before he went to RM and could be our ENGLISH defensive answer(Albeit he would possibly be second fiddle to Senderos when fit). A.Cole is unhappy with AFC board NOT the team, AW is confident he can sort this problem out if not he would prefer Cole to be sold abroad with Real, Barca and AC wanting him, Real & Barca are likely AC is possible with them wanting a Maldinis replacement and being back in CL, but AW is also aware that Cole has a 20m buy out clause for FOREIGN teams, 30m for ENGLISH teams(not just Chelski) and maybe willing to sell to CFC but would want Bridge in return, AW sees Bridge as 2nd best English LB but AW also has Clichy and impressive 16yr old Traore. No other Players will be bought unless West Brom come down on C.Davies price. Trust Arsene!

I'm sure man utd fans would rather see a quality midfielder in the postion of the ex-man u great roy keane than quibbling on the price of whoever he bought. Man U only paid approx £13m upfront for Carrick and the rest will be paid on bonuses. So we bought a very good player for only £13m not £18.6. We do need another midfielder, defensive minded, because if SAF says alan smith will be a striker next season, that means he is looking for another backup midfielder. 3 more players will come into the squad. A GK which hopefully will be kusczak (spelling?!?) from west brom, defensive midfielder hopefully maschareno who is a brilliant player and hopefully a striker but only SAF will know who he'll purchase. i totally agree with the person who said rooney and ashton will be future strike partners for england, ashton should have gone to the world cup along with bent instead of walcott and a midfielder perhaps jenas or downing. OK now for transfer rumours, i keep hearing that the torres deal is back on but this cannot be true because the guy clearly said he wants to stay in madrid so why would he all of a sudden change his mind?

Liverpool have entered the race to sign aron lennon. Man U and chelsea have alreadt expressed an interest. Spurs have accepted he is leaving and will demand a winger plus cash from any buyer. This eliminates united as they dont have ant gud ones but chelsea could offer SWP in a straight swap. The most likely however is liverpool offering spurs target harry kewell plus money. Jermaine defoe is on his way to newcastle. This is a lot of money received along with carricks transfer. Jonathon woodgate will sign and thomas graveson will replace carrick. they will try to get kuyt but he looks liverpool bound. Theres no replacement for lennon lined up just yet.
Aldo Duscher's agent revealed yesterday that his client (Duscher) was in talks with a London based club but ruled out the possibility that it was Spurs or Chelski. We all know that arsenal aren't interested and theres only one big club left in London which is The Hammers. Deportivo are having financial trouble so maybe AP is going to sign the bargain of the summer. Up the Irons!!
'Simao failed to agree terms with Valencia as Manchester United have placed a bid for him and he will be a United player by the end of the week.' This statement is false; Benfica attempted to bump up the price for Simao by stating that Liverpool had made a bid for the player, but Benitez has quickly rubbished that tactic. Birmingham City are set to follow up the signing of Radhi Jaidi with the triple signing of Spurs trio Wayne Routledge, Andy Reid and Callum Davenport. this will be a 6 million deal. Routledge will be direct replacement of Jermain Pennant, Steve Bruce also has expirience of working with the young winger at Palace. Reid will be used on the left wing, as The Blues push David Dunn into central midfeild. Davenport will be back up for Jaidi and N'Gotty as Birmingham are looking to sell Martin Taylor to Preston. Birmingham have also accepted a bid of 2 million from Reading for winger Julian Gray. Due to Bruce having a 1 million bid for Brian McBride rejected, Chris Sutton will now definatly re-sign a pay as you play deal. Zeshan Rehman is also wanted by Bruce, an offer of 500k is about to be made. Finally, there are reports that Birmingham are close to completing the signing of a striker, this player is believed to be David Nugent and Martin Taylor will be used as bait on top of a 3.5 million straight offer.
