Northamptons Bayo Akinfenwa will be officially placed on the transfer list on monday. Aidy Boothroyd has made it clear that he is no longer first choice, and Bayo is not prepared to sit on the bench.

Actually TM has been playing Halliday predominantly at LB in pre season and he played there on Saturday too.

I think Ramirez by Wednesday is likely. All we really need is to make his two clubs happy as his agent and he himself want the move. If he is in by Wednesday I think that makes him eligible for the Wigan game. As for Tello, why do we need both? Our attack was impressive vs City I think Ramirez would be enough. After him it's defensive or keeping reinforcements needed.
Looking at the squad numbers 3 and 10 are vacant, expect a CB and Ramirez by the weekend.

Im a Leeds fan but some of you lot are clueless. Yes Leeds have got massive potential but with a rubbish chairman and no cash to spend why do you think we will go up. Ok we have made what 10 signings this year but most of these are freebies and we Portsmouth for their players. We then sell Snodgrass and Clayton for about 4million so where has all that money gone.
The club is badly run and no way we will get promoted at this rate. Warnock has done a great job of getting all these players in for the budget he has.
When you look at teams like Blackburn who can splash 8million on one player we just cant compete with that.
Bates spent 7million on the corporate boxes which left sod all for players. Im no high flyer but surely you dont put all your eggs in 1 basket.
The crowds are also dwindling with lots staying away because of Bates (me included). Until he goes i wont be back. I love my team but hate to see some dodgy old person take all the money and sell everything off.

Michael Turner cannot have a worse game this season so I prefer to think that he will be much better next week.
Hooper has one of the best goles to game ratios in Europe however there is no way in hell you can jusitfy 8 mill for an slp player. I know Hooper is one of Celtics best players and therefore one of their most valuable assets but still i wouldn't pay more that 4
8 m is a fair price. Jelavic came from the SPL and was the signing of last season. Hooper's numbers say it all. 8m is a small price for staying up and this player knows where the back of the net is.
Turner will get better the more he plays, he needs to get to know the other chaps better and when he does he will be a very good player, as will Bassong.

danny rose to wba on loan looks likely to happen this week. spurs looking for new striker or strikers paves the way for an exit for defoe possible villa, sunderland and qpr interests. also heard stoke interested in alan hutton in a swap deal with jones. havent heard nothing on the blues or wolves front but thats all i know about the midlands teams
As a villa fan I seriously want us to swap hutton for jones and buy defoe. We lack serious fire power and I prefer gabby on the wing.

As my post said a day ago about Milner and Johnson for a 20mil double bid it seems Johnson will be at Sunderland by Tuesday Wednesday after a fee and terms have been agreed. You can red about it in the Sunday sun. Milner deal is taking longer as he wants to be in man city's starting 11 and is holding out for manchini decision on this. I expect him to sign deadline day. Other news and another city player John Guidetti is set for Sunderland in a 6mil bid submitted on Friday. He will be joining Johnson at Sunderland. Oneill has give up on fletcher and is on the verge of submitting a 8mil bid for Defoe. Don't know if he will be willing to sign but if it means first team football week in week out oneill might get his man.
