Hearts ....romanov now ready to get out of hearts and sell to the highest bidder, watch out for a massive clearout in january, so he can take as much out of the club before he goes, usa tycoon sandy alexander, hearts man with big plans, ready to make hearts the top side in scotland..you heard it from gogs107

Unfortunately Javier Mascherano will be going to Barcelona, but only in the summer. Barcelona are DESPERATE to sign him and they have left aside £40mil for his signature, but hope that he will cost only £30mil.

Benitez however is targetting 3 of Barcelona's young players however. It is likely that the Mascherano deal will be worth around £32mil but Liverpool will fork out a total of £14mil on Gai Assulin and Sergio Busquets.

Liverpool will also sign Oscar for 4mil, Goran Pandev on a free transfer, Mahamadou Diarra for 10mil and Luis Suarez for 17mil.

Babel, Dossena, Itjande, Voronin, Degen and Brouwer will all be sold for a total of around 12mil.

Alan Irvine, manager at Preston North End has told senior players that he's finally had enough of the club and it's chairman, Derek Shaw as 2 new loan deals for Premiership players at BOLTON & LIVERPOOL have both fallen through as Shaw cannot justify the amount of money he will have to pay for them. Irvine was told of the decision on Monday 16th at a board meeting. He has told certain players, that unless sufficient funds can be found to strengthen the small squad in Jan, he will have no other choice but to leave the club, if a suitable team comes in for him. Celtic are known to be admirers of Irvine and have sounded him out once before about a position at the club.

Derby are try to beat a host of top Belgian clubs to the signature of highly promising striker Van de Wumm. The 17 year old currently plays for 3rd division side K.S.V Sottegem.

Hi, anybody know any birmingham city transfer rumours plz? carl sumner

Rafa will look to offload some of his squad in order to raise funds in january. He will sell Degen (FC Zurich:£1.5m), Dossena (Napoli:4.5m) and Voronin (Dinamo Zagreb:2.5m) will all go, giving Rafa 8.5m plus another 9m to invest in January. He will use the majority of the 17.5m on a LW, who will be one of Eduardo (£14m), Krasic (£11m) or Elia(£12m). Although RVP's injury has meant Eduardo will become more involved in the next few weeks, Arsenal will sign Chamakh, allowing a deal for Eduardo to go ahead. A move for one of the other two would only go ahead if one of Babel (Ajax/Villereal:£11m) or Riera (Seville:£8m) goes. In the summer Kjaer will arrive for £10.6m to replace the out going Kyrgiakos (Hull:£1.5m). Mascherano could still go to Barcelona, if so he will go for £40m, with Lassana Diarra being brought in for £22m, allowing a move for one of the 2 previously stated, with Connor Wickham arriving for £1.5m plus Darby. Please post all 100% true. Bonzo.

In the Know @ Cardiff

I have it on very good authority that west Brom have a pre transfer deal in place for Rangers hitman Kris Boyd. They are paying the cash strapped scottish giants £1.5million for the player who is out of contract at the end of the season .I also understand the the Baggies boss will be using his many contacts in the top flight to bring in an experienced centre half.. Sol Cambell ? Not a chance!! Its going to be 30 yrs old Paulo Ferreira from his old club Chelsea on loan until the end of the season you heard it here first !!

Connor Wickham has agreed to sign for Arsenal I can confirm he has told Ipswich the chance is to big to turn down. Expect a few more storys to run in one of the national papers on sunday the fee is believed to be around £3–5million wickham will be used in the Arsenal squad similar to Aaron Ramsey and Theo Walcott when they first signed for the gunners .

Liverpool– if they don't get through to champions league then wages will be reduced. be prepared to see the back of voronin, el zhar, dossena and degen. one replacement winger will be bought in out of eljero elia or juan mata. not that rafa has the financial backing but he persists to believe that another striker isn't needed. the emerging n'gog, ecclestone and soon pacheco is considered more than enough cover for torres.. although this may be true when you consider that kuyt and babel can play there when required and the return of nemeth next season adds competition between the benchwarmers.

To the chap who said this
"Manchester united news out...nani 15 mil, carrick 15 mil, kusczak 5 mil, (foster, welbeck, gibson, tosic all out on loan plus possebon will comeback from braga and go out on loan somewhere else). in...ljajic will arrive in january from p.belgrade, diouf will remain at molde for the rest of season, david silva 26 mil, simon kjaer 9 mil, dzeko 18 mil and rodwell 15 mil."

first off why would we sell Kusczcak AND let Foster go out on loan leaving only VDS as our only first team goalkeeper? and your right Diouf will remain at Molde until the rest of the season but the Norwiegen season finshes in december/january so he'll be back in Manchester then, he maybe loaned out to an english team then though. and don't quote me on this but i thought Possbon was on a season long loan at Braga. Also Dzeko has stated today that he only wants to go to AC Milan and they want him so expect him to end up there but more likely in the summer. Simon Kjaer has a current buy–out clause of 6.5 mil so why would we offer 2.5 mil more than we have to? although Palmero are currently trying to tie him down to a new deal with a reported buy–out clause of 12 mil, if he signs a new deal don't expect him to move until the summer at the least if not the summer after. as i've said before getting any spanish based player will be hard as they only pay 25% tax in spain compared to 50% tax here in the uk. Rodwell is a high priority target but only expect united to move in january if other teams move for him then other than that we won't try and sign him until the summer. also expect alot more english players being bought due to new rules for next season. rumours Chamakh is a target for january or maybe a pre–contract for the summer, also a surprise loan of Van Der Vaart, and united are closely monitoring the situation at Marseille with Ben Arfa.

Talking to a friend who is self pro claimed "in the know".
he said that liverpool are looking to sell voronin, degen, reira, itandje, dossena, the greek, babel maybe benayoun and skrtel depending if rafa gets a good enough offer. also rafa will do all he can to keep mashcerano but there no chance he his going in the jan transfer window.
if mascherano goes rafa wants one of defour, lass diarra or busquets to replace him.
if the greek goes and skrtel rafa will sign upson and also look to get ilunga and cole from west ham
rafa also looking for a left mid and his targets are arshavin, mata, ashley young, adam johnson, silva plus a few more unnamed players.
for right mid as kuyt is getting old now, rafa wants one of lennon, milner, bentley, shaun wright phillips.
for striker cole is a option, so is pandev, agbonlahoor, defoe, villa, aguero, Pavlyuchenko, mccarthy plus a few more less known oversea players.(–very unlikely)

Edinburgh and premium newspaper ?....strangers. It is well known that Romanov is looking to punt Hearts but he is holding out for a developer to come in and demolish Swinecastle and replace it with homes, was hios goal from the off. If not there are a queue of supermarket chains interested. Expect all sellable assets i.e. players to be offloaded asap. Just like their cousins in Glasgow both in deep trouble. For Wallace Mercer read Vladimir Romanov lol

Arsenal will look to bring in cover up front and at left back due to the injuries sustained by Robin Van Persie and Gael Clichy/Kieran Gibbs. Wenger is still interested in Marouane Chamakh from Bordeaux. However he would rather wait until the summer when Chamakh would be available for nothing – still wouldn't be a dead cert though due to the recent interest from both Juventus and Manchester United. Another possible target for attack is a loan move for Mario Balotelli. Balotelli has fallen out of favour at Inter with Mourinho unhappy with the player's attitude. Wenger has also been a long term admirer of Klass–Jan Huntelaar of AC Milan who is still stuggling for form and would probably be available for a cut price £8million – this is however one of the more unlikely options. As for left back I have no idea who Wenger is looking at. He may opt to stick with what he's got but I personally would suggest Balotelli's Inter team–mate Davide Santon – who has also fallen out with the manager. Arsenal have also been linked with a move for Mamadou Sakho of PSG, who could cover at left back if required. Other possible targets include Eden Hazard (Lille), Zhano Ananidze (Spartak Moscow), Lucas Piazon (Sao Paulo) and Connor Wickham (Ipswich Town).

This is what is happening at Liverpool. Rafa will not sign a striker in January but will look to add a versatile winger/forward instead and I'll give the reason after I explain this. He would like a player whose position is primarily a winger who is two–footed. This player is Juan Manuel Mata. Rafa has been following his development during his Valencia days and since he has been at Liverpool and will make a move for him in January. Mata can also play just off the striker, giving Rafa more options in that area. Dirk Kuyt will be played more as a striker especially when Torres is injured. Now the reason why Rafa won't sign a striker unless it is a loan move is because he is aiming to set up a deal with Barcelona. Javier Mascherano will join Barcelona in the summer with Rafa insisting on a deal that will include money plus players, with one player being Bojan Krkic. Bojan has a lot of links to Liverpool, obviously the Spanish contingent being one of them, He is best friends with Dani Pacheco who grew up in the Barcelona academy together and Liverpool under 18 coach Rodolfo Borrell, wasthe man who developed his talent from Barca Under 11's right through to the first team. Rafa believes he will get his man and partner Torres and Bojan with Steven Gerrard playing just behind them. Other players Rafa is considering/monitoring/scouting are Sebastian Giovinco(Juventus), Milos Krasic (CSKA Moscow), Simon Kjaer (Palermo), Roman Pavlyuchenko (Tottenham), Eljero Elia (Hamburg), Rafael Van der Vaart (Real Madrid). I am not a Liverpool fan, I am an English journalist based in Spain and I have sources with serious connections to Liverpool.

Liverpool will sign sign Marcos Senna for a cut price £2 million in january on the advice of Fernando Torres. (Could he be a short term replacement for Mascherano?)

Notts County to sign Danny Rose from spurs on loan til end of season FACT

I hear from a reliable source that manchester United youngster Liam Davies (Ryan Giggs' nephew) is in the verge of joining Leicester City in a 70k deal. Apparently The Welsh under 18s star has family in the area.

YELLOW FEATHER TO THE IDIOT WHO POSTED THIS, Arsharvin to liverpool.
You heard it here first WAAAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA WHAT KINDA MUPPET ARE YOU, FIRSTLY––––– WHY WOULD WENGER LET ONE OF HIS BEST PLAYERS GO TO A RIVAL TEAM, SECONDLY––––– LIVERPOOL CANNOT AFFORD HIM, THIRDLY–––––– DID YOU DO THIS ON FOOTBALL MANAGER LAST NIGHT ON YOUR XBOX.. KEEP THE CRAP LIKE THIS TO YOURSELF AND STOP WASTING PEOPLES TIME, ALTHOUGH YOU CHEERED ME UP IMMENSLY. THE TALK AT THE MOMENT FROM COLNEY IS OF THE INJURY PROBLEMS AND THE SHORT TERM SOLUTIONS, WENGER HAS NEVER DABBLED IN THE LOAN MARKET BUT IF RVP AND GIBBS INJURIES ARE MORE SERIOUS THAN THOUGH, A SHORT TERM LOAN FOR PLAYERS IS BEING CONSIDERED, I DUNNO WHO AS I CANNOT GET INTO THE MEDICAL PART OF THE BUILDING. PITCH RUMORS ARE SAYING THAT NO PLAYER THAT IS CUP TIED FOR CHAMPS LEAGUE WILL BE SIGNED IN JANUARY, SO WHO DOES THIS LEAVE. INLHER IS A NAME THAT KEEPS COMING INTO CONVERSATIONS, CHAMAKAH IS ANOTHER BUT UPSON AND CAHILL HAVE BEEN MENTIONED FOR THE DEFENCE WHILST KENWYN JONES AND CHARLTON COLE MENTIONED UP FRONT. STRANGE THAT NO MIDFIELDERS HAVE BEEN MENTIONED, DOES THIS MEAN HIGHER LEVEL TALKS ARE HAPPENING AWAY FROM COLNEY. I WILL KEEP MY EAR TO THE GROUND. YELLOW FEATHER

It is true that Rafa has been told to reduce the wage bill in January and no surprise that the players he is willing to sacrifice are Dossena, Veronin and Degen (as Kelly is now seen as a capable deputy to Johnson). In order to fund any new signings Rafa will listen to offers for both Riera and Babel, although he will only allow one to leave. Top targets are Elia, Mata and Giovinco. No moves for a defensive midfielder will be made until the summer when the future of Masch will be resolved. Dossena will not be replaced, nor will Veronin as Rafa feels that Torres, Gerrard, Kuyt and Ngog can play up front, assisted by wide players and the emergence of Nathan Ecclestone (one for the future, may be given some more first team experience this year)

I have heard across the sports desk that Vladimir Romanov has been working on a get out deal.

Deals have been done for the sales of Jose Goncalves, Laryea Kingston, Andrew Driver, Lee Wallace and David Obua in January.

These sales will pay off some of the debt and bring the salary within budget. The will trigger the deal for US Businessman, Sandy Alexander to take a controlling interest in the club.

ARSENAL IN: Ryan Babel, Joe Hart, Thierry Henry, David Bentley, Yaya Toure. CHELSEA IN: Sergio Aguero, Edin Dzenko, Angel di Maria, Alexander Pato, Yoann Gourcuff. MAN UTD IN: Andrey Voronin, Andriy Shevchenko, Marco Marterazzi. LIVERPOOL IN: Rafael van der Vaart, David Villa, David Silva, Sergio Busquets, Roman Pavlyuchenko. 100% TRUE SOURCE FROM ENGLISH FA.

With Paul Lambert looking to add speed to the in–form canaries expect to see his second signing made before Tuesdays home clash with Brighton. Winger Julian Gray just released by Barnsley to sign deal until end of season. You heard it here first otbc.

My boys at man utd and he and his friends overheard micheal carrick saying he was going back to spurs with defoe coming the other way, may not be true but if it is you heard it here first....

Dimi is a gonner, saf is reportedly sick of his lazy attitude, he will offload him in the summer, he will also use the funds to bring in villa, also city to buy newcastle for £80m, apparently they still want to bring kaka in....denty the mag

Torres is going nowhere! Before signing for Liverpool FC he turned down offers from Real Madrid (who he dislikes with a passion!), Man Utd, Chelsea, AC Milan, Barcelona and Juventus. Rafa is going nowhere – FACT!

Hicks and Gillett Jr will not have control over the club for much longer, a lot of meetings have been going on behind closed doors with regards to investment/the sale of the club and this will be resolved around January (or December at the earliest).

A number of players will be leaving at the end of the season (1 or 2 in January even) – the transfer list includes Dossena, Voronin, Babel and a few younger players will be out on loan deals.

Sergio Aguero has stated he will ONLY sign for Liverpool FC as he is a fan of the club. He was due to sign a few years ago before a deal was reached with Atletico Madrid. David Villa stated something similar in the summer to the press. Lennon or Joaquin are possible targets. Elia has been scouted along with Mata.

Any rumours of Arsenal signing Akinfeev, Balotelli, M.Diarra, Hangeland are way off the mark for one simple reason – champions league ineligibilty. Last season we pulled it together in the league thanks to the Jan signing of Arshavin but with him unavailable in the CL we were made to suffer against Man Utd. Wenger won't bring in players that can only play in the league, he will bring in 2 proven targets that can improve the squad on all fronts. He will move for a defender and midfielder theses will be be Inler/Matuidi and Sahko/Upson. Any further signings will depend on players leaving. Bendtner faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines and RVP may return middle of December depending on recovery so could see a move for K.Jones of Sundeland or Carlton Cole in Jan. Any rumour of Sagna going seems unlikely but should he pursue a move to Turin then expect a move for Cesar Azpilicueta who is attracting interest all over Europe. Summer will likely see Chamakh come in for the departing Bendtner, Silvestre leaving to be replaced by Cahill/Upson and Fabregas could be tempted by Barca leading to a move for Hamsik or Van Der Vaart.

West Ham won the world cup in 66 ? Thought it was England myself, didn't even know West Ham was a country ! Here we go not even 2010 yet and already '66 is mentioned...ho hum. Anyway Caldwell and McManus will NOT be staying at Celtic beyond January, and McGregor will NOT be at Man Utd it will be Artur Boruc. Celtic still trying to get Pavyluchenko on loan for rest of season and this will see exits for Killen and McDonald. Also sick of hearing Robbie Keane is Celtic bound, he ISN'T. Also Bougherra will leave Rangers for the EPL.

CELTIC JANUARY TRANSFERS

Big changes going to happen in January, TB wants a first team squad of about 24 with about 6 youth players coming into the squad, this will give 30 players he can rely on at any given time.

'The latest Torres story has been engineered By Rafa and the Liverpool board. Torres will be sold to City for a ludicrous fee set to eclipse that for Ronaldo last summer. this will alleviate the clubs debt and allow for strengthening in the January window. rafa has said he will walk and this will allow for him to leave, with his dignity inatct, to madrid for a nominal compensation package. despite the loss of a key player the strengthening of the clubs financial position will provide the required stability financially for the owners to negotiate a better sale price with potential buyers. it is a win win situation for both the owner and managers and all hinges on whether City can offer a lucrative enough package to tempt Torres to Manchester as Champions League football is looking an ever more likely possibility.'

That's the biggest load of crap I've ever heard, Arshavin to Liverpool in the Summer for 18m.

LFC would be some player to funds deals during January, leaving would be Benayoun:Man City£18m. Dossena: Naploi , £5m. Voronin: Hertha, £4m. Total £27m plus budget of £12m. So in total Rafa has £39m.If Liverpool passed the CL group stage extra £10m would be given to him. Rafa already has spoken that he want to strengh his team. Expects LFC would buy the following players:
Vladimir Koman for £4m.
Zhano Ananidze £4m.
Milos Krasic £18m.
Alexis Sanchez £11m.
If Liverpool passed the CL group stage, expect Rafa to sign to David Luiz(Benfica) & Leo(Gremio).
