Rafa Benitez is lining up a bid for Marseille's left back Taye Taiwo, but with Man City also circling, it would take a bid if about £14m to prise him away from France.

BIRMINGHAM CITY TO SIGN NEVEN SUBOTIC & MARIO BALOTELLI

A link close to Blues admitted Eck fancies his chances on these two as they are exactly what he needs at the club, young talented & ambitious.

It has been previously rumoured that Blues head scout Paul Montgomery was seen watching Subotic against Frankfurt a couple of weeks ago & now it would appear that a possible loan bid is being lined up for Balotelli, the perfect replacement for Cameron Jerome who is also rumoured to be on Mick McCarthy's radar?

Very exciting times at St Andrews.

I have a friend who works for Leicester City and it looks like The Foxes are about to win out on a bid for versatile fullback Laurent Manuel of France, who had played in Belgium and was also sought after by a Swedish club.

Plymouth Argyle are to take the prolific Aberdeen striker Steve(We Nugget)Mclean until the end of the season, apparently he has a house in the area and likes the damp !
Paul(should have gone to specsavers)Mariner says 'He looks like a proper footballer, so he should fit in here, as we have a large dugout full of them.
The only stumbling block could be Mclean's wage demand, he wants to be paid on time !

Arsenal. Its clear as day that they need a new goalkeeper and with birmingham ready to retain Hart for another year Lloris is the favourite to come in especially if Lyon fail to qualify for the champions league and they are currently 4th in their league with only the top 3 playing champions league football. However lyon will not do business until after the world cup in the hope they can boost their asking price up.Chamakh looks to be going to Arsenal and Stefan Savic will have another trail in the summer however the player has said himself he expects to sign for Arsenal. If Gallas stays then Savic will be the CB signing but if he leaves expect bids for 1 of Subotic/Cahill or Kjaer.Midfield Mark Noble is a possibility as is Fellaini but most likely it will be Matuidi.Yaya Toure will be a target if Mascherano goes to Barca.Chamakh will be the only forward unless Wenger can get Hazard on the cheap thou that's doubtful as he has signed a new contract.
INS– Lloris, Savic, Matuidi, Chamakh

Man Utd– Although Vidic says he won't leave if Barca or Madrid offer 30 million Fergie will accept.VDS will have a final year.United are set to go head to head with Chelsea over Di Maria and Rodwell. The 2 David's Silva n Villa will stay in Spain and Ribery will also go there and Fergie wil b offered Benzema for around 20 million which i think he will take especially if they lose Luis Fabiano to City.
INS–Smalling, Rodwell, Benzema and a winger if they lose out on Di Maria possibly Ashley Young.

Liverpool.Jankovic deal is done and liverpools main objective is to hang on to Torres and Gerrard thou they might let Mascherano leave to Barca.Scott Parker will b a target as Barry won't leave City.Van Der Vaat will again b watched by Liverpool and if Bolton go down Liverpool will sign Matt Taylor on a cut price however Riera or Benayoun will leave the club.In defence they are also intressed in Subotic and Steven Taylor but he will want to stay at Newcastle cause they will back in the PL by next season.Depending on how much money Rafa or whoever is allowed to spend a 20+million bid could go in for Aaron Lennon if he has a good world cup.
INS–Matt Taylor, Van Der Vaat, Jankovic and a centre half aswel.

Chelsea– Pato and Aguero will b signed and Anelka will be allowed to leave after contract talks have stalled.Ribery as iv said will go to Spain but i think they will beat United to the Signing of Di Maria. Not sure what is going to happen with Joe Cole however he has already said he is staying in London so if he doesn't stay with Chelsea Arsenal, Spurs and West Ham will b favourites to sign him.Kalou will go but Chelsea won't sell to another PL team.Dani Alves is a target but will be hard to get from Barca as they are only looking to add to thier squad.Chelsea will want another CB but i havent heard any names linked apart from Rodwell but i think he will go to United.
INS–Pato, Aguero, Di Maria plus a Centre Half.

Man City. They are going to try and tighten up in defence with Maicon and Chiellini coming in which may pave the way for Richards to leave possibly to Arsenal, Liverpool or Spurs.Shay Given will have 1 more season then Joe Hart will come straight in that's y he is only allowed on loan to Birmingham.Santa Cruz will be allowed to leave as he will not be getting much football and it looks likely Luis Fabinno will come in.Steven Ireland may be allowed to leave depending on the other CM options thou i think he will stay.
INS–Maicon, Chiellini, Fabiano and maybe a left back.

p.s Cheryl cole to john terry done deal.hilarious well done!!

The announcement that Pompey have asked permission to sell some players is just one approach. A number of possible deals have emerged with a few senior players off to Championship clubs as loans or disnpensation signings. Here are a few players and discussions taking place..

Hermann Hreiðarsson & Michael Brown (Forest)
Antti Niemi (Newcastle & Swansea)
Nwankwo Kanu (Swansea & Cardiff)
Richard Hughes & Aaron Mokoena (West Brom)
Tommy Smith (Watford – PFC still owe most of his fee)

If I hear more, I'll let you know

Forest–Billy Davies steps up interest in several loan targets in the hope of securing at least 2. After telling the Forest Financial director where he can put his calculator Billy has gone all guns blazing for a leftback, with Spurr topping his list. Garner is being offered to Leeds as a loanswap deal to secure the services Snodgrass. Finally Fulham are considering lending Shorey back to Forest when Konchesly (back in light training) regains full fitness.

18 Feb 2010 16:19:45
I have it on good authority that arsenal will not be signing anyone in the summer, although we will lose Fabregas to barcelona (£45m), Gallas to PSG (£2m), Eboue + Rosicky to fiorentina (£3.5m + Frey)

18 Feb 2010 16:24:10
Tony mowbray has handed in his resignation but has been told to carry on until the end of the season where he is to replace Bristol City manager Gary Johnson who will be the new Brentford manager because Andy Scott is set to become the manager of Hearts

Nottm Forest – Billy Davies is now heading the transfer panel and is refusing to tell some of the previous members who he is after. However, ForestSpy can reveal that Billy is after four new players, one of which has already been seen talking to Billy at Forest's Training Ground. #1 Ambrose from Palace. #2 Pratley from Swansea. #3 Unknown defender from Man City. #4 Unknown but could be a 'hardman' from the Prem. All will be signed with a view to the playoff final, with a view to a permanent deal in the summer, although Billy still wants automatic this season. More as I get it on @ForestSpy on twitter

18 Feb 2010 16:29:00
Arsenal are interested in the following players for next season.

GK – Joe Hart (Man City, 5m), Hugo Lloris (Lyon, 14m), Manuel Neuer (Schalke, 10m).
DF – Adam Matthews (Cardiff, 3m), Cesar Azpilicueta (Osasuna, 8m), Simon Kjaer (Palermo, 11m), Mahamdou Sakho (PSG, 12m), Stefan Savic (BSK Borska, 2.25m).
MF – Steven Defour (Standard, 12m), Axel Witsel (Standard, 8m), Moussa Sissoko (Toulouse, 8m), Yaya Toure (Barcelona, Part Exchange), Sergio Busquets (Barcelona, Part Exchange), Stevan Jovetic (Fiorentina, 13m).
ST – Marouane Chamakh (Bordeaux, Free), Lacine Traore (Cluj, 3m), Bojan Krkic (Barcelona, Part Exchange).

Outs will be Manuel Almunia (2m), Cesc Fabregas (30m + Toure and Busquets/Bojan), Phillipe Senderos (Free), William Gallas (Free if contract extension cannot be agreed), Carlos Vela (loan), Denilson (7m), Mikael Silvestre (Free), Lukasz Fabianski (5m), Armand Traore (4m), Fran Merida (Free), Jack Wilshere (loan), Eduardo (8.5m).

Coventry City summer transfer comings and goings.

Kieren Westwood will be the subject of enquiries froma handfull of Premiership teams over the summer, namely Tottenham, Sunderland and Wigan.
He be allowed to leave the Ricoh Arena if the club receive a bid of at least 4m. Tottenham and Wigan would just offer straight cash if they bid, however, Sunderland are planning on offering Marton Fulop + 2.5m for the Republic of Ireland International keeper. Based on the deals offered, Sunderland would be Coventry's 1st choice deal.
Even if Fulop comes in, Chris Coleman knows that he cannot rely on Danny Ireland to be the backup goalkeeper so he will look to sign a reserve Premiership keeper on a season long loan. Could be one of Wojciech Szczesny, David Stockdale or Tom Heaton. Danny Ireland will then leave on loan and Dimi Konstantopoulos will leave when his contract expires.
Defensively, Coleman is relatively happy with the players he has at his disposal. Elliott Ward's contract will not be renewed so he will leave on a free transfer. Leon Barnett will turn his loan into a permanent move, for a fee of around 400k. A left back is needed so a bid will be placed for Stephen Jordan @ Burnley, who will not get too many games as former Sky Blue Danny Fox will be first choice at Turf Moor. Jermaine Grandison and possibly Jordon Clarke will go out on loan.
The only midfielder leaving this summer will be Isaac Osbourne, as his first team opportunities will be limited with Aron Gunnarsson, Sammy Clingan, Gary Deegan being ahead of him in the pecking order. Coventry still only have 2 recognised wingers in the team, in the form of Michael McIndoe and David Bell and although they have players who could play if those positions, Coleman will look to bring in another. He has identified Arsenal's Henri Lansbury as the man he wants. Whilst having alot of talent, Lansbury isn't likely to get into the Arsenal team, so will leave in search of 1st team football.
There will be a couple of changes in the Sky Blues forward–line this summer – Clinton Morrison will leave on a free transfer and Freddie Sears will return to West Ham when his loan ends. Jon Stead will sign on a permanent contract and Rob Hulse will join from Derby.

Potential Starting 11:

Fulop
Cranie – McPake – Wood – Jordan
Bell – Clingan – Gunnarsson – Lansbury
Hulse – Eastwood

Subs – Loan Keeper, Barnett, Hussey, Deegan, Baker, McIndoe, Stead.

R.e Koumas – A source from WBA told me that Leicester are the club competing with them for Koumas.

It's been a while, but after laughing at some of the rubbish on here I just had to have my say!

Gary Neville NOT going to QPR for 2.5mil, retiring at Manu.

LLoris to Arsenal or Manu at the end of season.
Fabregas going nowehere.

Either Berba or Owen sold, and Manu will spend big to bring Villa to club.

Aguero to Chelsea or at a long shot Man City.

If Portsmouth are allowed to sell outside the window, expect Newcastle plus the Championship's reicher club or Prem relegation candidates to have a look first.

Benitiz out to Juve, don't know who will come in. Possibly Jose Mourinho if Liverpool get some serious investment. Mourinho to Manu is rubbish as Fergie wants someone who will follow his ways when he is replaced, and obviously Jose will want to fo things his own way. Expect David Moyes (or at a stretch Martin O'Neil – although he looks very commited to getting Villa into Champions League football) to be the next manager as both Fergie and the gLazer's admire his qualities.

Lads i have some information about why Arsene Wenger is keeping his faith with Almunia, next year the 7/4 ruling comes in and Almunia qualify's for one of the four players as he can potentially play for England, THAT IS WHY WENGER WILL NOT REPLACE HIM!!! so don't expect a new keeper in the summer!

Expect Gibbs & Wilshere to start games next season, this is why Wenger was so desperate to get him premiership experience at Bolton!

PiCklEwEaSeL!

18 Feb 2010 11:01:30
The Tosic fee has already been agreed in principle by United & the German team for around 5million, this fee cannot rise!
Also Danny Welbeck is going nowhere, he is a future English talent, Fergie is very excited about his potential, he will go out on loan next season, maybe to Pompey or another relegated ex prem side! Macheda is more likely to be sold for around the 6–7 million mark, but United will have first dibs on buying him back if he becomes a huge talent, the same deal they had when they sold Rossi.
Vidic looks set to stay, sounds like he will run his contract out and go on a free in 2012, he will be 30 then and will want a huge Spanish or Italian contract til he retires, though if a team offers 30million upwards i think Fergie will accept the offer, if this happens United will immediately put in a bid for Jack Rodwell, though they probably will bid regardless, the bid will be 15million plus add ons which could rise to 20million! Rodwell & Smalling to replace Rio & Vidic but all in good time!
Foster will leave but United will want over 8million for him as he is English! he maybe replaced by De Gea, Owen will leave if a bid of around 2million comes in for him, if Owen & Macheda leave which is probable, then United will 100% buy a striker/winger, Berbatov will be used for 4–4–2 games only, that's mainly home games & against weaker teams, United will bid for Di Maria, he will fit into a 4–5–1 & 4–3–3 perfectly, expect a bid of 20million, whether or not United get him, a bid is guaranteed nevertheless, i doubt Benzema will end up at Old Trafford, he has already snubbed United & Fergie is not one for giving second chances. Very little will be happening, United usually bring in atleast three each summer, that shouldnt change!

Out – Foster/ Tosic/ Macheda/ Owen/ Gray

In – De Gea/ Rodwell/ Di Maria

Anderson will not be leaving Man Utd, Sir Alex has given him a reasuring arm around his shoulder and told him he is a part of his plans. The reason we have not seen Anderson of late is because the manager has put him on a High Fitness Program. Anderson has seen his fitness dwindle due to feeling down and Sir Alex has given him extra time to improve his own fitness/Stamina. All of his team mates value him and have given him strong support and soon we will see a NEW, FITTER Anderson, As soon as the return leg of the Champions League against A.C Milan. This information is very true and from a reliable sorce.
