HIBS are on the trail of former Hearts and Dunfermilne goalkeeper Roddy Mckenzie. Hibernian are looking for a keeper to challenge Yves Makaba–Makalamby and Andy McNeil and Mixu Paatelainen is preparing to offer the keeper who is currently without a club, a contract.
Manchester City's failed pursuit of Ronaldinho will lead to a bid for FC Barcelona star Samuel Eto'o. However this is likely to fail and instead Mark Hughes' next signings are likely to be less high calibre in Lucas Neill, Tal Ben Haim and Craig Bellamy.
Hughes is also keen about either David Bentley or Yossi Benayoun.

Jay Bothroyd (Wolves) to sign for Leeds after McCarthy sealed the Iwelumo transfer from Charlton. Wolves have also given up on McClean of Peterborough now as he is just too expensive for a player with League 2 experience.

To the person who said – > "tell me this why would a cash strapped club like LFC splash £3 million on a reserve goalkeeper? "

Quite simply to replace the departing Carson, who still looks most likely to join Stoke City. However, the delay in this move is because other clubs are suprised that Liverpool are willing to accept just £4 million and are now interested themselves, the two main clubs are Newcastle and Middlesbrough. Carson will decide by the weekend.

Other LFC news, the Barry deal will be pushed through next week as Barry will plead with MO'N to let him leave the club. Expect a deal of £16 million + Finnan to finally end this whole saga.

With Barry coming in, there is no room for Alonso in Rafa's plans. Liverpool knew Juve had pulled out of the Alonso deal last week and because of this they asked about the availability of Sergio Aguero in the hope of using Alonso as bait in a player + cash deal.

If Atletico want to keep hold of Aguero then Rafa will offer Alonso for £15 million and seek first option on Aguero next Summer and use the money to buy Robbie Keane from Tottenham.

It's all a bit of a merrygoround which is why it is taking time.

First of all Pablo Piatti (Estudiantes) has signed for Almeria in La Liga and Yoann Gourcuff has been loaned by AC Milan to Bordeaux.
As for rumours both Drogba and Bridge have signed new deals. So they will not be going anywhere. Robbie Keane to Liverpool is looking more than a possibility because Benitez cannot afford David Villa ($64 million).
Now regarding the Ronaldo issue. I am a huge Man United fan. He was brilliant for MUFC last 2–3 seasons but if he feels that going to Madrid will be a "step up" or "dream come true" or whatever rubbish he's trying to sell (its the crazy money that Calderon's offering that is done him by the way) then all that hairgel has probably got to his brain. He's leaving the European CHAMPS for some Rich whimps who cannot get even past the round of 16. The Real players do not even want him there Cannavaro said so.
Aguero is looking more and more likely to be his replacement. Even if he comes expect the Berbatov deal to go through. Sergio Ramos as part of Ronaldo's deal is possible because Ramos wants out. He reportedly got mad after his "team"mates squared up to him after the 4 red cards he got last season.
Whoever said that Kalouda was joining Plymouth from Brno in the Czech Republic is lying–he joined CSKA Moscow in January, sorry to disappoint.

Aimar to sign for Newcastle for around £7 million and also reportedly in talks with Nigel De Jong

Hull City to sign Fraizer Campbell on loan with a view to a permanent deal and halmosi, warner, and boateng to complete deals on Wednesday
The following will happen if triggered by the initial transfer, first one to make the move.
Adebayor to Barcelona
Eto'o to Inter
Huntelaar to Arsenal
Ronaldo to Madrid
Berbatov to Man United
Santa Cruz to Tottenham

Wenger will not sign Barry, too expensive.
He wants You Ya Toure and will try as part of the Ade deal.
Barcelona may make bid for Berbatov but cannot offer Eto'o as he's not interested in Tottenham.
They may offer Eto'o to Arsenal but his wage demands would be too high, hence he's Inter bound.
Bergkamp to be influencial in Huntelaar move to the Emirates.
Should all unfold over the next 10 days otherwise many players going back to training with very red faces.
Franck Quedrue has been released by Birmingham and in an effort to replace him quickly Birmingham will move to sign Ian Harte. His trial with Wolves is due to end and Birmingham are thought to have offered him a very lucrative contract.

When Olivier Kapo finally departs for Wigan after his dispute is settled with the club Birmingham will shell out the £3.5 million gained to bring Joe Ledley the Wales national team player in from Cardiff.

Zola Matumona is due to sign for Birmingham from FC Brussels for a nominal fee.

Departures:

Oliver Kapo – £3. 56 million – Wigan.
Franck Quedrue – Free – Unattached.
Mikael Forssell – Free – Hannover 96.
Fabrice Muamba – £5 million – Bolton.
Rafael Schmitz – Return loan – Lille.
Daniel de Ridder – Free – Wigan.
Earlier this morning Man United forward Louis Saha was seen entering the Sunderland training ground. It was assaid that the French forward had been holding talks with ex team mate and now Sunderland manager Roy Keane.
It has been said that Ajax Striker Jan Klass Huntelaar has been spotted by the media in Holland Talking to Man United Cheir scout Jim Lawlor in a local Cafe near his home.
Plymouth Argyle directors will give Paul Sturrock the full £2 million from the sale of Peter Halmosi to Hull, which is great news considering how little he has had to date.

Argyle are currently in discussions with.
Lubos Hajduch, Goal Keeper (Slovakia) £100 k
Carl Fletcher, CM (Palace) £500 k
Bobo Balde, centre back (Celtic) Free
Albert Adomah, RW (Barnet) £400 k
Yala Bolasie, RW/LW (Floriana) £150 k
Matthew Spring, CM (Luton) £350 k
Danny Welbeck, ST (Man United) Loan
Rahim Ouédraogo, DCM (Heracles) Free
Liverpool Rumours: To the people saying that Cavalieri will replace Reina, this is correct. Keane is a smokescreen and Reina will be used in the deal to bring Villa to Anfield to team up with Torres. Barry and Reira will be the other two transfers. aussieLFCfan
Zzzzzzzzz. Sorry this dull close season has put me to sleep. I guess there are many false rumours that should be cleared away.

First of all, Robinho is going nowhere this Summer. He does not want to be thrown about as a bargaining chip and has no desire to play at Chelsea. Anything else is a silly fabrication.

Man United is currently engineering Ronaldo's move from United to Madrid. They will use some of the money to buy Berbatov OR Aguero. Huntelaar will not be coming to United this Summer, he is under contract and Marco Van Basten will not allow/accept a bid. The remainder of the money will be pocketed by the owners of the club.

Liverpool are done for the Summer. Any of you scousers who think Rafa is going to pull 35 million out of his ass to buy David Villa or Podolski or even Silva are on the pipe. Liverpool have no funds to spend, and must sell players in order to buy them. As a result you sort will be missing out on your chance to acquire the services of.

Gareth Barry, who will be signing for Arsenal by the end of the week. All that is left to make it happen is the sale of Alex Hleb who is in FC Barcelona to make it official. Plus the sell on fee attached to Bentley's move to Tottenham (which is in the neighborhood of about £4 million pounds) + the money from Gilberto's move to Greece (Wenger would not have allowed it if he did not have a replacement lined up) + the inclusion of Justin Hoyte (who O'Neill has been a long time admirer of) This will convince O'Neill who is frustrated and angry and Benitez to sell.

Adebayor has a 60 – 70 percent chance of staying at Arsenal at this point. Milan are out (no money). FC Barcelona have offered Eto'o + £10 million, but Wenger does not want Eto'o because of injury problems and his erratic temperament. FC Barcelona are not likely to give up the money to get him. Adebayor is going to have to face the music at the Grove and do an awful lot of badge kissing if he wants to make it up to the fans after a disgraceful Summer.

Arshavin will arrive at the Emirates if he leaves Zenit. But that is in serious doubt.
I have it on excellent authority that Albanian international Lorik Cana will be signing for Everton very soon.
Aguero has just told close relatives and friends that he admires the "free role" position that Ronaldo played in last season and said that he would have no problem adapting to the same playing style. also reports that Nani and Anderson would be unsettled with the departure of Ronaldo are false as they have not signed the get well soon card sent to his hospital which was also missing sir Alex Fergusons signature

Reading are planning a £1 million move for Coventry forward Michael mifsud (who scored 2 goals in the famous carling cup win against Man United last year) since his place in the team was put into doubt with the arrival of two new forwards
Thomas Pekeart has stated his desire to move to Norwich City on loan on a Tottenham' fanzine ahead of their friendly at Carrow Road.
Roy Keane could offer former Ireland team–mate Stephen Carr a trial at Sunderland following his release from Newcastle
Everton will look to land ex Chelsea midfielder tiago from Juve on a 12 month loan deal with a view to a permanant move.
David Moyes main target is Diego Milito, and Andy johnsons proposed move to Wigan is dependant upon the capture of him.
Everton will also sign the Lille right back Stephen lichsteiner on a free transfer. Lichsteiner kept new Liverpool signing philip degan out of the euro 2008.
Highly rated goalkeeping trialist Vladimir stojkovic of sporting lisbon will be offered a 12 month loan deal, again with a view to a permanant move.

All rumours regarding Joaquin, aimar, Riquelme, stankovic, arshavin, moutinho and Kim kallstrom are all non verified rumours, but do not be surprised to see the Everton board make an absolute gem of a signing a week before the new season, mark my words a quality midfielder will join Everton early august
  LFC facts
The bid for Sergio "Kún" Agüero is from Liverpool. This offer is £17 million and Alonso, just short of Atlético's valuation of 35 million if you consider Alonso to be valued at £15 million. Should this transfer go through it will mean that they will pay Villas asking price (17 million and Finnan) for Barry. If the Agüero transfer fails expect them to keep Alonso and let Villa decide whether they will accept the £15 million offer for Barry, and to intensify the race for Keane, which may be difficult given that Berbatov is likely to be a Man United player next year. Also expect the arrival of David Silva to Melwood during the January transfer window.
"Xabi Alonso + Pepe reina and casht to Athletico Madrid for Sergio aguera, tell me this why would a cash strapped club like LFC splash £3 million on a reserve goalkeeper? "

Cos we are selling 1 reserve keeper for £4 million? And another going for £1 million. And Alvin Martin's lad has been making decent progress in the reserves. That puts us £2 million ahead on the Reserve Keeper situation.

Anyway Alonso and £4 million to Tottenham in exchange for Robbie Keane. I do not know if this will happen but I think it would be a good idea considering Ramos tried to sign him for Seville.

I work for an air conditioning company just outside of RAF base inear Aldershot. I was called along to a job on Meadow Lane last night, routine task, you know how it is; cut hole, screw in and turn on. Anyway, the lady who's place it was looked a bit naff in her tiger print velour tracksuite but I though nothing of it as I have been to Eastern Europe before and I know they all look stupid. She kept on nattering to her friends about some big deal or something. Anyhow, just as I would finished screwing the air conditioning into the wall and checking the fan turned and everything, this suave looking guy walked into the house and said, "I have got it, Leeds, they want me." I knew who the guy was instantly bevause back in the day I did the air conditioning in the Chelsea Youth changing rooms. A guy called Junior Mendes. Class act, could really do a job.
  Coventry City Transfer news.

With the signings of Morrisona and Wright looking near completion, CC will turn his attentions to ex Birmingham man Franck Quedrue who Coleman signed for Fulham when he was there. Also, City seem to be quite close to securing a loan deal for Man United's Chris Eagles + the purchase of David Bell from Luton.

PUSB.
All the rumours about who is interested in Sergio Aguero are rubbish. the fact is there are not many sides who ARENT interested in him. Certainly the top 4 in England, the two big boys in Spain and the top clubs in Italy. His buy–out Clause is around £35 million, so all this rubbish about 'United not revealing their interest so it does not raise his price' is exactly that, rubbish. The minimum Atletico will sell for, is his buyout Clause. Also the idea of Xabi Alonso being used to get first option on Aguero is rubbish. If Liverpool had the money, He would join them over anyone else as he's seen the merits for Torres and a Spanish speaking manager who wanted to sign him before he went to Spain.

If/when Ronaldo leaves, which will not be until NEXT Summer, then United will look to 'replace' him with someone nearer the time. Unfortunately, it will not be the big name that United fans will crave. The top players just do not want to move to United, it's there historically for all to see. They become top players at United, which is a credit to Ferguson I suppose. But do not expect to see anyone even close to the likes of Messi, Aguero or Ribery come in to replace Ronaldo. It'll be someone from Portugal as Ferguson is absolutely determined to show Ronaldos signing was not a fLuke, the reason he signed Nani. From Sporting is a guy called Pererinha. From Porto Quaresma or possibly the long awaited arrival of Freddie Adu from Benfica.
  Premier maybe's.

SWP (Chelsea) to Manchester City– Loan view to perm deal.
Matt Eterington (the Hammers) to Charlton
Frank Lampard (Chelsea) to inter
Haydon Mullins (the Hammers) to Hull City.
Paul Robinson (Tottenham) to Middlesboro
Tommy Mason (P'boro United) to Stoke City
Belrahmi (Lazio) to the Hammers
Alonso (Liverpool) to real Betis
Keegan (Newcastle) to be replaced by R. Koeman.
These are just whisperings on the grape vine. hence the MAYBE.
Adriano rumoured to be at the Hammers training ground this afternoon 16/07, lot's of press at the training ground.
Darren Huckerby In Talks With Leeds United.
Jerry smart.
Robbie Keane is guaranteed to be Liverpool's number 7 by this Saturday – including add ons and top up payments, 18.5 million. From a 'close friend of his'.
Just heard on very good authority that Robbie Keane and gareth barry have medicals at Liverpool scheduled for Monday.

Arsenal are to buy Alonso for £10 million to help finance the above deals
Lukas podolski will sign for Liverpool in the next week and the possibility that robbi kean will also sign
Okay after the signings of Guttierez and Guthrie King Kev will sign the following trust me. Pablo Aimar Insua Cuellar/A. Ferdinand or J. Evans and a forward? JT
After reading such an amount of surreal transfers in this page, I feel I can share some light to some transfers.
Everybody is talking about C. Ronaldo being the key for a transfers sudden movement in the near future. Well, yes that would set Man United in transfer mood, but there are other circumstances that are holding back the transfer market.
Xavi Alonso's failed tranfer to Juve may have ditched all chances for Barry going to Liverpool. At the moment there are 3 teams interested in the Spanish playmaker: Arsenal (who want a cut–price for him, around £16 million Euro), Valencia (including him in a Villa or Silva + cash swoop) and Atletico Madrid (straight cash, or Xabi+ cash in exchange for Sergio Agüero). By the way, for the guy who said: "These will fuel the kitty for aguero who has a 35 million pound release Clause", actually, his release Clause is more around 45 million pounds, he signed a new contract last December. There is also a possibility of Xabi going to FC Barcelona and Samuel Eto'o going to Anfield.
Chelsea will try to retain Drogba or include him in a deal for Real Madrid's Robinho.
Lampard will leave the Blues for inter in the next 10 days.

  LEEDS UNITED TRANSFER LATEST.

Leeds have launched an audacious bid to land Newcastle forward Shola Ameobi on a season long loan, with a view to a permanent deal if promoted.
With several clubs blowing hot and cold with their interest, Leeds look to have stolen the March to land Ameobi, who's brother Tomi is already on the books at Leeds.
  LFC Rumours

It is now clear that G&H have given Rafa only £10 million + sales. Rafa spent £6 million on Dossena and £3 million on keeper. With £4 million from Riise sale Rafa then offered Villa £15 million in three instalments for Barry. Do the sums. Rafa now has £20 million to spend as well as cash from Leto/Pennant. Premier league transfers are normally half now and half in 12 months. Rafa could afford Barry/Keane first payments at £8–£9 million each. We could use transfer funds next year to cover final payment. The squad is now so large that only 1–2 more quality additions needed next year. Rafa still needs a quality winger to cover either wing and that is why he is trying to offload Alonso.

Payments In:

Crouch £8.75 million + add ons
Guthrie £2.25 million + add ons
Riise £4 mill
Carson £3.5 million + add ons
Probably
Leto £1 mill
Pennant £5 mill
Alonso £10 million now/£5 million 2009

Total Available £36 million
