Odds have tumbled today on Mark Hughes getting the Job at Liverpool.... something in the making MAYBE.. the only way Mark will be allowed into Liverpool would be for Rush to be his assistant Sparky and Rushy go back a long way. forget Mourinho he's 100% City's new manager in the summer save your money lads.

Old Firm
===============
Just to clear a few doubts about Tony Mowbray, there is no way he will be sacked , the board as will most fans with half a brain can see that he took over the worst squad that we have had in over 10 years. Yes there has been issue with the forwards and the defence but these issues were there last season as well. Although had it not been for several refereeing "mistakes" at in both old firm games, two stone wall penalties turned down at ibrox & fortune's goal incorrectly ruled out along with lafferty's lunge on hinkle only getting a yellow Celtic would have no doubt collected between 46 points in those games, add that to the stone wall penalty in the last minute against falkirk that we didn't get (even the falkirk manager said it was a penalty) there has been "mistakes" by match officals in other games this season that have also benefitted rangers(surprise surprise).
Anyway a few rumours going around just now..

Celtic should complete at least another 2 signings this window with a CB & a proven goal scorer, no names as yet.
ecpect to see several squad players leave but no main first teamers unless crazy bids come in....Birmingham will have to put forward at £10M to open talks with McGeady, Celtic would also be looking for at least £7M to Boruc. As Scott Brown & Scott McDonald are both injured they won't be moving in this window.

Rangers 18 years olds wilson & fleck have knocked back new deals, with only 18 months left on there contracts rangers may look to cash in just now with man utd & spurs willing to pay around £2.5 for the pair.

boyd to leave for either boro, bolton or birmingham on th elast day of the window.

There will be no takeover at ibrox, remember the club has been up for sale for over 4 years, the guy from SA leading the so called takeoever is facing over 300 tax fraud charges in SA, also the bank won't accept less than the £31M their owned and dodgy dave will be looking for at least £50M for his shares.

sadly both old firms teams will continue to buy players not fit for the jerseys and the standard will drop even further.

Just been sent this, make of it what you want!
2..Different people (one who works for LFC in the finance office) has just told us a good rumour about goings on at Anfield that's doing the rounds. Apparently there was a big fight in the dressing room at half time v reading with Gerrard kicking off on Pelligrino. Apparently then Reina (who wasn't even playing) kicked off on Sammy Lee and all hell broke loose!!
Gerrard refused to go back out at half time and has said he refuses to play again whilst Benitez is the manager.
Just recieved these 2texts. A mate who works for press association said that rafa is going to be sacked on Monday no matter what happens.

Babel to birmingham for 610 million
Sergio Aguero to man city for around 65 million
Torres due a medical at Eastlands for around 110 million on wednesday, heavily inflated price.100% fact

17 Jan 2010 22:11:10
If Liverpool get into the top 4 this summer, they are looking to sign:

Juan Manuel Mata (10mil + Albert Riera)
Luis Suarez (10mil + Ryan Babel)
Gary Cahill (12mil)
Louis Saha (free)
Csar Azpilicueta (5mil)
Victor Moses (3mil and loaned out)
Sergio Canales (500k)

Martin Skrtel (8mil)
Philip Degen (1mil)
Charles Itjande (free)

They will not need much investment to spend this kind of money as the new 20mil/year sponsor will provide most money for this.

If Liverpool do not make the top 4, there will be no Suarez. Instead, Babel will leave and the rest will remain the same. Mata, Saha, Moses, Azpilicueta and Canales will sign. Cahill will not, and Skrtel will not leave.

If there is major investment, Chiellini to join and Kyrgiakos to leave. And Aguero to join and Kuyt to leave.

Walsall FC rumours..

Hutchings will make 1 signing, it will be Keates. But 3 players will be leaving. Manny Smith (Coventry), Troy Deeney (Peterborough) and Alex Nicholls (Burton on loan).

Bonser is still looking to sell the club, but whoever said Sullivan and Gold will buy the club. You are wrong. Bonser has had no offers from anybody yet due to his high pricetag.

I have a close connection to a former liverpool scouter (now currently top scout at chelsea) and he is keeping me in touch with the low down with Rafa as he still keeps contact with the guys at Melwood. He informed me that Real Madrid are keeping seriously close tabs on Rafa's situation. Now, if Rafa agrees to join Real Madrid and Liverpool agree for him to speak, we would not have to pay Rafa off as its Mutual Consent. Instead we would most likley be taking a 58 million pound compensation package from Madrid. Roy Hodgson was leading the chase to take over Rafa. Roy was ultimately keen to take the job but due to a lack of action in teh board room and growing speculation, Roy told LFC to do 1 and signed a new 4 year deal with Fulham. Expect Hiddink to be the main man to take over, the only stumbling block is he will speak to Chelsea first. If they decide not to have Guus and stick with Ancelotti then he will 99% be managing LFC.
Gerrard seems keen to finalise his 30m move to Real Madrid in the summer, expect James Milner as his ""replacement"" so to speak. Torres will be stticking around for a couple more seasons and will switch to either Inter Milan or Barca. Mascherano is a 50/50 as barca have yet to decide if they want him or Fabregas? If so, esteban Cambiasso a replacment.

Take this how you want. ADZii

Stoke City News
I have this information on good authority from a very influential figure at Stoke City FC.

1/ A Top Keeperis due in from Holland on Wednesday for talks. This will be a John Rudge inspired signing recommended by Ed De Hoey.

2/ Failing that Julian Speroni will sign before deadline day.

3/ Tony Pulis is a long time admirer of Joe Ledley. He will sign a pre contract with the Potters in the next few days.

4/ Stoke striker James Beattie will be going to Fulham with Simon Davies signing for the potters on loan.

As someone closely involved with football in a proffesional capacity I have been closely following this site [amongst others] over a good number of years. One can pick up a few gems now and again and it has been helpful when trying to pinpoint certain leaks from certain clubs. However, recent submissions have left me very frustrated and it is becoming more and more apparent that a number of idiots are using this site to post slagging comments rather than true rumours/hearsay which is sad because this was a very credible site at one time with a number of current players, retired players and agents using the platform to MOVE a certain agenda. Have not posted before but will submit this for digestion recent Man Utd activities in the Middle East were used as a smokescreen. There is a lot of movement going on behind the scene and some information will find its way to the press in the forthcoming weeks. They will be taken over and it will be from a Chinese or Middle Eastern consortium [such comments have already been reported]. However, this is not the only news regarding Utd. When the story hits the headlines you will know ! Seagull has reported and unlike the majority of other idiots who post, you will soon know that I only deliver the truth. When the information becomes public knowledge I will gloat and remind you ! Time for sanity and common sense to return to this site before it loses all credibility. [Seagull]

17 Jan 2010 21:04:13
More musings from The Taps in Lytham, Lancashire.

PNE are set to announce to the stock exchange a huge potential deal with a Middle East businessman. The deal would involve hemmings and Shaw being bought out...Hemmings at a huge premium as the broker. The investment, although not confirmed could stretch to £35m. DF didn't expect this and will sign upto 6 quality players for 'big' fees before the window ends. That is where they are at.

To the person who said that Mcleish would go to Liverpool until the end of the season and then Hodgson would take over. What utter rubbish, what planet are you on, as if Mcleish would leave a successful Birmingham side to be manager for 17 games. If he was asked to come to Liverpool, I think he would...but not as a stop gap.

Will people stop posting rumours about Beckford. Check the Leeds website, he's staying put!

17 Jan 2010 19:01:48
"2 The rumour circulating is that when the Dave King rescue package is done and dusted, Rangers will be deemed as financially stable and looked on as an asset. Therefore, there will be tentative feelers put out for propspective buyers from the Middle East and possibly North America come April / May this year. There are 7 backed groups extensively looking @ football clubs in GB as at todays date (1 from UAE, 1 from Saudi Arabia, 3 from USA and 2 from Canada)."

The two Canadians are the two exCanadian soldiers mentioned a few months ago on here. It seems they are waiting in the wings, waiting for their moment to get the Gers at a good price.

After missing out on david james, tony pulis is to approach nottingham forest for lee camp.

no club is prepared to pay david james' wages (extortionate for any club outside the top 4!) and whilst respected as a good 'keeper, many clubs see him as too old to sign.

that said, i did hear a rumour that manchester united were prepared to offer him a shortterm deal, but it would be on a 'payasyouplay' basis. united would most likely want james to coach amos and the other young 'keepers. whether or not dj would take it is debatable, although he respects fergie.

on pompey transfer front:

kaboul to sunderland £1.5m
mokoena to everton £1m
papa bouba diop to wigan £1m
michael brown to newcastle £1m

asmir begovic to swindon free
marc wilson to notts co. free
nadir belhadj to everton £2.5m

I'm a Liverpool insider and I'm letting fans know that the club is currently thinking of replacing Rafa Benitez with Nottingham Forest's Billy Davies. This must NOT be allowed to happen. His tenure at Derby left them humiliated as the worst club in premiership history. Raise the troops in the name of Shankley and don't let this happen. Let him stay at Forest.

17 Jan 2010 19:32:12
Any good, true, nottingham forest or watford rumours please? Thanks

Celtic f.c

Ma mum works as a cleaner inside parkhead and she overheard a conversation between TM and PL and this is what she heard PL but utaka wants 30k a week and will cost 4 million TM
We need a striker and he is my prefered choice and also the sooner we get st ledger in the beter because young josh is't good enough so there you have it info from inside parkhead

Disregard this as total lies... I've had the misfortune of visiting celtic park quite a few times for old firm games and there doesn't appear to be cleaners employed by them!!!
Rumours.. Manky mob will not sign players of the Keane quality(tongue in cheek, as robbie pure dung anyhow).. PL will now expect the mighty Gers to win the leagus at a canter.. 9 pts clear, played extra game.. expect draw there, make that 8 clear!!!
Rangers, will keep the squad together, minus Mendes (here's hopin) 2 in a row, here we go!

I have seen a excellent striker shaking hands with sir alex ferguson his name is GOLDEN NUGGET and he has scored 46 goals this season for radstock rangers and it looks like Fergie is going to do the swap deal between GOLDEN NUGGET coming to old trafford and Valencia going to radstock rangers

Celtic

TM has been in touch with SAF over the availability of signing Michael Owen on loan for the rest of the season.

Deal would suit all parties as Owen believes his place in England's World Cup Squad is in jeopardy due to the lack of match time and goals.

TM frustrated by the amount of missed chances by Samaras and Fortune, McDonald is out injured for another few weeks.

Rangers

No bids for any players yet but given the good form of Davis expect a 4m offer from and EPL side.

I have it on very good authority that there will be little movement at WHL, hoping two to go and two in but activity will be last minute. Expect a frantic last two days!!
There are many deals that are intertwined, not many cash purchases this time for any team....

17 Jan 2010 17:19:02
Don't believe anyone who says that Arsenal are acquiring Nolan Roux as a stopgap for Van Persie. Arsenal are indeed after the prolific Brest striker, but more for the future. Arsenal will still acquire a major striker, whose identity is being kept under wraps.

He is Defo Leaving maybe in this window

Torres to follow in summer ( Great player but sick of his constant moaning and is always injured and put more uneded pressure on club by saying need to buy..maybe if he wanst always injured and disrespecting his team mate we would be ok... we would be better of with 3 commited players we could get for his fee..no one is bigger than the club lets face it both of them feel sorry for themselfs...oh no we might not be in champions league we better leave...get real people are dying and losing here homes)ps i love the club but those 2 are puting unwanted pressure and unwanted media pressure on us..

I stated yesterday that Manchester United were going to be bought outright by the emirate of Qatar for £2 Billion pounds and some idiot stated that I was an idiot..! Well this is for that idiot!!!!! Manchester United will be bought out for approx 2 bllion pounds by Qatar's wealthy aristocracy It would also provide the perfect foil to one of their Emirates rivals Abu Dhabi where Sheikh Mansour owns Manchester City.United could easily have undergone warm weather training a lot closer to home but the sixandahalf hour
plane journey served two purposes, to get away from the snow and put out some money markers.
There is massive interest in Manchester United and the Bidding will be between the chinese consortium and the oil rich arabs, and the bidding is expected to reach £2 billion pounds..Happy dats and good riddance to the Glazers....Da Dubliner..!

Could you tell me where you are getting the info about the takeover and could you shed more light on it.
Also all you who keep saying Di Maria to Citeh it is not going to happen. He rejected the 38 million move to you because he has supported United all his life.

Man. United all the way. Devils4life

NFFC NEWS:

Nigel Doughty has intervened, on behalf of Billy Davies, and has told the transfer committee at Forest to 'put up and shut up'.

Doughty will not see Forest fail now, and will back Billy in the transfer market. Not too many moves, but Billy has got 23 targets and a few loan players in mind.

Forest are going up! :D

17 Jan 2010 16:24:52
I do not claim to know which players Man Utd are looking at, but I can shed some light on the ownership issue. The Glazers came to Utd fully planning on paying back the loan and still paying for large transfers, but like everyone else, they were hit VERY hard by the economic downturn as they have large real estate holdings. The downturn also messed up their plans to refinance the loans to make them more manageable. Now they are looking for the most profitable way out of the situation. That is why the bond issue is being offered, as if they can move the high yield loans off the books, they can profit even more. It seems as if there are multiple parties lining up to bid for the club including the Chinese consortium mentioned recently and now the Qatar royal family who are dying to get their country the recognition needed to get the 2020 WC. Either way, expect the Glazers to sell between now and the summer for between 1.52 billion. This is why no transfers are likely this winter. By summer we will have new ownership able to spend like Man City, Chelsea, etc as well as a likely replacement lined up for SAF with Blanc, Mourinho and Guardiola all being mentioned. This is when the future united squad will be created, with SAF staying for one year more to ease the transition for the new manager. It's about time a team who has EARNED their success and money will have strong financial backing, unlike midtable mediocrities like Chelsea and Man City being given blank checks.

PORTSMOUTH FC: The Facts

A lot has been written on here in recent times about Portsmouth FC.

Most of what's been written has been fanciful, but some posts have elements of truth.

Here's what is happening.

January 31st the club, like all other businesses, will have to file its Tax Returns to HMRC and pay what it owes for that last 12 months.

February a Premier League panel is to sit at Wembley Stadium and discuss the problems at the club. Peter Storrie and the Chairman will be required to attend this meeting (which will last for one week, reports into this meeting to be published by the second week of March).

March/April a decision on the future of the club to be made (although could be delayed until after the season ends). Most likely, the club will be given 45 days from March 15th to pay ALL of its debts or face being wound up in the High Courts.

A plenary session will take place at the end of April at The Old Bailey. This will be the club's last chance.

If a new investor appears, he/she will have to guarantee that all debts are settled IN FULL by July (the start of the new season). This could see the club being sold for £1+guarantee of debt settlements (most creditors would accept this and negotiate a repayment timeline, as they don't want the club to fold, and would want 50p or more in the pound for debt payment).

If the debts are not paid in full, or no negotiation for payment is reached, then Pompey will not be allowed to start the season.

What is very likely is that Storrie and cronies won't be at Fratton Park next season. Storrie will retire on 'health grounds' and the fake Sheikhs will be forced from office.

So now you know what is really going on!

My uncle is Kenny Dalglish's golfing coach at Formy. Ryan Babel was dropped from the liverpool squad on saturday as he's to be swapped for Arda Turan. Watch for developments this week. Deal to be done this window. Rafa is under mounting pressure and Guus Hiddick is being lined up to take temporary charge (may be made permanent manager based on results till end of the season)CHESH

Heard it on good authority that mcliesh to liverpool as a stop gap till hodgson takes over at the end of the season. Felieni not for sale nor is jack rodwell. Pompey relegated parachute payment needed to pay david james wages. coyb Liverpool would love david moyes however they cannot afford him what a sorry state of affairs when a club as big as liverpool can't afford to sack a manager. There second choice is big alex from bernie west watch this space

Cardiff will not be making any move this window unless the takeover is complete in time. Jones' promised 4 players will not be coming in. instead Cardiff may have to let feeney and commingues go to fund a little to bring in a striker.

Celtic FC

TM's tenure is under threat. Never the first choice the board and PL in particular are aghast at the poor showing from his team against a stupendoulsy weakened RFC. They initially felt obliged to allow him to rebuild his own squad and sanctioned the purchases made and the sale of the 4 amigo's down south. However the perceived poor quality of the acquisitions, recent setbacks on field and Saturday's result making the SPL a forlorn hope, is rumoured to have created boardroom debate as to whether he should simply be sacked and what meagre funds were available to him be used to pay him and Grant off. The team may then be taken on an interim basis by the Reserve team coach Neil Lennon assisited by one of the 2003 UEFA Cup squad who is currently employed in a coaching capacity elsewhere but would come to Parkhead to help out in this crisis. Whoever would assume the mantle in the summer would however have no funds to spend beyond those raised from player sales ( McGeady , Brown ? ) . Indeed not all of those funds will necessarily be made available as it is anticipated that season book sales ( principal income stream ) may drop below 40,000 for the term 2010 / 2011. Just rumpurs of course , but if true ( and I stress if ) then ot would appear that dark days are ahead .

Reports claimed Gerrard clashed with Benitez's assistant, Mauricio Pellegrino, over the hamstring strain which caused the midfielder's substitution against Reading in midweek.
Personally, I think the dressing was lost weeks ago & the rumours are that the Liverpool board are reviewing Benitez's position. Expect a press conference Thursday after the Spurs game!!!

Live video linkup conference at Anfield sometime late tomorrow between Purslow, Hicks, Gillette and other interested parties(?). As soon as my source has seen the minutes/transcript and told me, I shall post. Not thought to be earthshattering stuff though, more along the lines of 'where do we go from here'.

Has anyone got any decent rumoure regarding Celtic. And please i don't mean Keane, RVN etc etc. We are fobbed off enough every year from Peter Lawwell promising us big players arriving when he wants our money and guess what, they don't arrive.

Also Tony Mowbray, pleae leave now. How many more excuses are you going to give, you say we will start scoring for fun soon, we are still waiting. Also get rid of Naylor, McManus, Fox, Zhi and Samaras before you go.

17 Jan 2010 09:00:19
Tony Mowbray will be cited to Celtic Park on Sunday morning to be officially relieved of his duties as Celtic manager. The board have become increasingly frustrated with his style of football and thus being the reason why he will be asked to stand down or sacked if he doesnt. One rumour from the stands is he is still unhappy that he wasnt the first choice for manager and still thinks that he is being undermined by PL and the board. Watch the media this week because I have it on good authority that Paul Lambert will be approached within the next few weeks BUT if this does not come to fruition, expect Nigel Worthington to come in as caretaker (no NI games, apart from friendlies till later this year for euro qualifiers). Lambert will be again be approached in the summer if this does not happen in January. Please don't listen to anything you read in the media, like Frank Rijkaard (too expensive), Mark Hughes (too expensive), Roy Keane (unproven and too volatile) or John Collins (not well though of in SPL due to Hibs problems).

INTHEKNOW.

17 Jan 2010 09:12:14
Expect 2 stories in the media this week pertaining to Glasgow Rangers.

1 Finally, a rescue package will be accepted by the Lloyds Group for possibly £24.7 million plus addons from the Dave King led consortium, which will see Martin Bain being ousted from his CEO position and a person chosen by King coming into oversee things. Apparently, Martin Bain still holds all the cards with regards to transfers (including financial dealings) and King sees him as a cog in the wheel that needs to be removed. There will be money made available for signings this month BUT

2 The rumour circulating is that when the Dave King rescue package is done and dusted, Rangers will be deemed as financially stable and looked on as an asset. Therefore, there will be tentative feelers put out for propspective buyers from the Middle East and possibly North America come April / May this year. There are 7 backed groups extensively looking @ football clubs in GB as at todays date (1 from UAE, 1 from Saudi Arabia, 3 from USA and 2 from Canada). Expect Scottish football to completely change if this happens as money will not be the issue anymore @ Ibrox.

Where is all of the money coming from to buy these players and fund their wages?

Real Premiership rumours.

Lacine Traore (Cluj Arsenal)
Robert Green (West Ham Tottenham)
Gary Cahill (Bolton Man Utd)
Steven Gerrard (Liverpool Inter Milan)
Mario Balotelli (Inter West Ham loan)
Steven Defour (Standard Leige Man Utd)
John Carew (Aston Villa Arsenal)

Joe Hart (Man City Birmingham)
Alan Hutton (Tottenham Birmingham)
Hugo Rodellega (Wigan Liverpool)
David Nugent (Portsmouth Burnley)
Younes Kaboul (Portsmouth Tottenham)
Jack Wilshere (Arsenal FC Twente loan)

Not all of these will happen in this transfer window, some will be confirmed in the summer.

Javi Mascherano is a cert to be joining Barcelona in the summer. This will be concluded before the begining of the world cup! Also, joining him, will be team mate Pepe Reina. He has been earmarked as the soon to be Spainish Numero uno and Pep Guardiola is groing tiresum of Victor Valdes and his calamitous errors. I know this as my brother works for Barcelona.tv (he also made me aware of the Ibrahimovich switch but I didn't believe him as I thought it was absurd). In my opinion the premiership is losing it's best GK. Look out for a cheaky bid for Ben Foster before the world cup as his opportunities are lacking at Utd.

Dont expect any major Villa deals in Jan . MON is saving his pennies for a massive deal in the Summer with talks quite advanced and in positive territory.

All i know is its a centre forward and he's currently on the continent , and the deal (cash) is around £23mil . The wage structure will be smashed so the likes of Milner , Young , Downing and Agbonlahor will have improved offers made to them .

Another quite interesting thing I know is Gareth Barry was offered back to Villa for £6mil , with the agreement that City have first refusal on Milner . MON blew it out the water instantly even though I know Gareth was keen to come back, to such a degree he made enquiries to see if his old place would be available near the Roman Road .

Best reply to a post ive read in ages, made me giggle

No 1 Why would nando or stevie want to go to a club who have yet to break into the top four and have zilch experience of challenging for a championship. They would not go anywhere near Manchester anyway.

No 2 Liverpool are a good club because they have won 18 top flight titles, and 5 european cups etc. etc. and are the most succesful club in English football. (Something Man City will never hail in comparison to)

No 3 How is the club goin down the shitter after one season? Sure the finances are low and we are having a wank season, but we are still aiming for a top four spot and in the Europa League. An investment is on the cards, and there will obviously be some billionaire out there willing to invest, after all we are Liverpool FC, one of the biggest football clubs in the world, even if this season is a disaster.

No 4 I would love to see where Citehhhhh would be without your arabian friends at the helm, seein Darius Vassell bangin in the goals, or Michael Ball sprinting down the wing HAHAH.
LFC have always been a top, top club and always will be, face facts City will always be living in the shadow of United.

No 5 Your a tit! and you are delusional if you think players like Iniesta would swap a Barca team, who at the moment are the best club in the world, winning titles with relative ease and have players such as Messi, Ibra and Xavi, for a team who have won nothin' since fuck knows, are yet to be serious title contenders, and cannot guarantee champs league football.

To the person who wrote "Strong rumors around the Cardiff City Stadium that norwich striker Chris Martin is due to agree terms soon, in a deal that will send Tony Capaldi to norwich. Also, cardiff are very close to tying up a deal for Big Ben Burgess, as they need to bulk up on strikers"

Why would he want to join a smaller club ?

My brother dates mourinho's sister, and has been told by mourinho himself that mourinho is leaving inter for sure in the summer, and wants to go to either liverpool or peterborough united. manchester united want aaron mclean.

also my daughter goes out with cristiano ronaldo, and he was telling me that george boyd of peterborough was spotted at the santiago bernabeu holding hands with puyol, and moments later kaka and ronaldo were hugging holding a piece of paper which said they are galcticos

Strong Rumour flying round glasgow that Real Madrid have offerd rudd van N to Celtic on loan.

17 Jan 2010 03:07:20
I have it on good account that Guus Hiddink is eyeing the job at anfield. CoOwner Hicks wants Rafa out ASAP...

and SURPRISINGLY...

Real Madrid is willing to pay Liverpool the cost to terminate Rafa Benitez cotract, as Florentino Perez feels that Manuel Pellegrini is not good enough at Madrid.

Liverpool are looking at Arda Turan, Jeremy Menez. Arda will be swapped with babel plus 3 million. jeremy menez will be swapped with Riera plus 3 million as well. As for strikers, the media is saying that Rafa is looking to swap Babel for Kenwyne Jones. IF that goes through, rafa will sign either Arda Turan or Menez only. But as a LFC fan i hope rafa sign the both wingers, as we already have dirk kuyt and ngog who can play upfront.

17 Jan 2010 03:37:00
Dear Santa
Just a few wishes for the coming few months:

Babel, Degen, Kuyt, Lucas, Reira to be replaced by Turan, Chamakh, Cole, Young, Moses
Rafa to be replaced by Hiddinck
Yanks to be replaced by billionaire arab investors

Promise I'll be good!!!

17 Jan 2010 03:52:20
Hmmm Torres, Gerrard, Iniesta & Rooney must be dying to move to Man Shtty after than stunning performance against Evertonespecially as they will be given an easy season next year as MCFC won't be in the Champions League. Very tempting!

17 Jan 2010 03:56:06
My mate who lives in liverpool told me he heard rafa's quit his post at LFC after today's result. he said it showed in his postgame interview when he said IF he was to stay at the club it would be for the fans. i'm sad he's leaving but I think its best for the club. dalglish is to be put in charge until a permanent manager can be put in place. Also heard that the babel+3m for arda turan is still in the works

Rangers

Strong rumour that the Rangers scout that was in Dubai all last week has given a glowing report about an Ex Pat Scottish lad who plays for a lower team in UAE. Name is Scott Crawford, tall, Strong with good pace and an eye for goal, play either side of the mid or as a 2nd striker. Doing well in Dubai and Rangers know they could get a jem on a very good deal. One for the future. Scott Crawford..

17 Jan 2010 06:18:50
Cardiff City to be takenover Tuesday. Peter Ridsdale to leave the club immediately and Dave Jones will sign Wayne Routledge, Ben Watson and Brian Stock all on loan deals with a view to permanent deals in the summer. Joe Ledley out injured until next season, he will sign a new contract with Cardiff only if they are in the Premiership. Adam Mathews to Manchester United with an immediate loan back to Cardiff. Dave Jones looking to offload, Tony Capaldi, Warren Feeney, Darcy Blake and Miguel Commingues

17 Jan 2010 07:24:10
LFC will not make any more purchases unless Babel is sold, we simply don't have the money. And if we did have money why would we give to Rafa who looks to be on his way out. There will be serious investment in the summer but not by the blood sucking Yanks.

Walsall striker Troy Deeney had £150 stolen from his back pocket of his jeans which were in the Walsall FC changing rooms today. Following this he finds it was the last straw of an unprofessional club and will be following up Peterbroughs recent interest and has put in a transfer request straight after the 21 loss to Brighton.

17 Jan 2010 08:44:52
I reckon it, s about time Niall Quinn had some serious words with manager Steve Bruce.
Yet again a season which started with so much promise has declined into relagation fodder!
Bruce's failings are mounting up faster than Sunderlands plummet to the foot of the table;
He lets Danny Collins leave without any hint a replacement.
He lets Tanio go out on loan to Birmingham, leaving us painfully thin in midfield.
Constantly harps on about the back four 'not being good enough' Yet our 3 main centre backs are his signings.
Instills no confidence what so ever into our only 2 fullbacks by constantly threatening to replace them.
Panic's and brings Cattermole back to early, Leaving him with a thigh muscle tear.
He also seems to be unable to rally the troops and put some fire into there belly's. Add this to the player's he's reportedly linked with the Jan transfer window and you can't see it getting much better. We don't want unproven South Americans, we desperatley need proven Premiership quality!

Come on messer's Quinn & Bruce it's time to put the talking into action.

17 Jan 2010 00:19:56
Eddie howe will quit as bournemouth boss within the next 48 hours.

i know eddie well, and he told me recently that the board have gone back on several promises made to him about getting the embargo lifted and providing him with money for this transfer window.

the board have done NOTHING bar one initial payment to enable the embargo to be lifted, and howe may have to lose pitman to gillingham if they sell jackson to cardiff/wolves.

results are turning against bournemouth, and howe can see that there are worrying times ahead.

i don't blame him for going good luck eddie, clubs will be fighting for your service before long!

mitchell out!

Forest News

Cohen is going nowhere. Billy doesn't have to sell doesn't want to sell Cohen. Billy is however, getting extremely fed up with the acquisitions panel and feels that when forest get to the prem he could miss some very important targets with the eejits doing the deals.

Howeverm Shorey is desperate to join, Billy wants him real bad. Moses is just a smokescreen for his real targets. Davies is gone, as is garner but just on loan initially if he does well billy will give him another chance. Majewski to sign permanently by end of jan.

"Rafael Benitez has had enough of Ryan Babel and is looking to swap him for Samir Nasri. Arsene Wenger is reluctant to let Nasri go but will consider it if Rafael Benitez includes an undisclosed academy/reserve player."

To the person who said this, I heard that Arsene Wenger wants Lauri Dalla Valle as part of the Nasri/Babel swap but Rafael Benitez doesn't want to let him go.

I am a massive birmingham city fan and i won a competition to go behind the scenes on matchday when we played Man U. I asked some of the staff if they knew of any possible transfers and they said that we would be signing craig gardener 100%. They also said mcleish is looking into signing Mauro Zarate again as he enjoyed his loan spell here. Finally Theo Walcott is very unhappy with his opportunities at Arsenal so he is looking for another chance to ressurect his career and this is possible at blues.

Dzeko didn't leave Wolfsburg last summer for Milan when he had an offer, instead he renewed his contract to 2013. Maybe he will move now but I don't see it happening.
To the guy in Barcelona with the insider info
Why would Arsenal give up Fabregas (22 year old very talented player with atleast 6 good years of football in front of him) to Barcelona for Henry(32 should be retiring soon), A. Hleb(28 and hasn't scored in a league for 2 years now) and Yaya Toure(he is good but not good enough to swap with Fabregas)?

Cardiff's Debt problems mean they will have to offload Wittingham and Chopra. They are looking to Shaun Derry and Jon Parkin as replacements.
