Norwich looking at bringing in Guidetti from Man City on loan. Scored for fun last year at Feyenoord. Seen as a great player to play off Holt/Morison.(33)(18)Wasn't he suppossed to be heading back to Feyenoord on a permanent.I think he would do very well, seen him for sweden u21 a couple of timesHeard he wants to move to Italy and get tutored by Miroslav Klose at Lazio.

Stoke City F.c Striker Cameron Jerome will complete a suprise move to Championship Crysta Palace either Monday or Tuesday, Fee agreed and CJ has agreed terms. just a medical to complete!(10)(42)No chance! He turned down bolton and said he doesnt want to play in the championshipCameron too good for Crystal Palace. If he leave Stoke, it's for another PL club.He has flown out with the stoke team today for pre-season training campWould love this to happen, find it unlikely though as he can still bang them in for a Premier League side! - Palace fanMedical.... you need a check up from the neck up. Never right.Love how people can make persons of themselves by posting carppy rumours. As someone above has said, Jerome is out with the Stoke squad in Switzerland, won't be back until Friday then off the the USA on Sunday.

15 Jul 2012 21:52:35
Swindon Town have approached Damien Reeves and Ross Allen about possible future moves to the Wiltshire club.(2)(12)

There is no way that Ross Allen will ever wear a Swindon Shirt.

Ross will stay in Guernsey for the forseeable future.....

Source: Matt Le TisierWow Guernsey must be a bigger club than any football league club - if a league club comes in for an amateur of course he's going to want to go.

15 Jul 2012 22:04:30
Stoke are looking to sell Jon Walters to Celtic for 4 million(16)(32)They clearly aren't, i don't know why people keep posting thisPlease let it be true hes a donkey he just runs around thats alls he does!Any stoke fan will tell you that tony pulis wouldnt sell for 30 million, for some reason he is obsessed with walters.

15 Jul 2012 21:19:36
Shamrock Rovers striker Gary Twigg will join Hibernian in a fee around £250,000.(9)(24)

15 Jul 2012 21:06:36
Stoke are looking to sell some of their strikers to make way for new attacking additions . Jon Walters and kenwyne jones are going to leave stoke to Celtic and west Ham respectively. Stoke are looking at new attacking options including modibo Maiga , Jerman Defoe , Gary hooper and Jordan Rhodes . Craig Bellamy is also interesting stoke(29)(13)

Can guarantee you that Stoke are not intetested in Rhodes. Jones may yet join Villa and no secret that Pulis loves Bellamy but not looking likely. Defoe remains Stoke prime target.Maiga is already a West Ham player and WHU rejected Jones less than a week ago as he was only ever a back-up option.Would love to see defoe at the brit and maiga would sort our impotencey infront of goal need some midfdielders to feed them aswell

15 Jul 2012 20:56:06
Aston villa to announce the signing of ron vlaar tomorrow morning what a top signing.(21)(18)Great signing! double what collins & dunne were at their peaks!

15 Jul 2012 19:42:30
KILMARNOCK boss Kenny Shiels aims to sign two new strikers before the start of the season but kilmarnock got Rory Boulding and need look other new striker for might Damian Reeves, Dean Shiels, Martin Boyle and Ben Lewis(3)(11)

15 Jul 2012 20:51:11
Swindon Town FC news : Harry Kewell will sign on a pay as you play contract after long discussions with Jeremy Wray, Kewell has stipulated that he must be released from playing and training duties anytime his family requires him. Another story from the board room is Alex Henshaw to rejoin on season long loan from Man citym (reliable source from within STFC staff)(10)(26)Rubbish, we will more likely get bostock over kewell who will go to middlesborough or blackburn. alex henshall wont be coming back yet as we have 4 wingers already. even though alex will go far in the gameAbsolute rubbish about Kewell we dont want him either he's a has been and if he was that good clubs would be queing up for him and their not.Mr wray has stated in the local press there is nothing in the kewell rumour and that the first he knew of it was from the pressLooks like Ritchie is going then

15 Jul 2012 20:26:48
Bolton are set to sign Reading FC striker Simon Church on a season long loan(17)(11)I hope so.I think this could quite possibly be a good move for the lad, getting some game time in a good side because he is a real decent player just like every player needs games. Then Get him back to readingI personally thought he lacked the hunger and clinical finishing up front - until he scored a hattrick on Saturday against AFC Wimbledon. I suppose if he knows he is in the market place then he could change his approachI'd happily see him out on loan, he may of scored a hat trick against Wimbledon but I'm still not convinced by simon, still alkot of time for him to prove himself but I don't see him anywhere other than the championship... TheRoyalScored a 15 minute hat trick against MK Dons a few days ago, so i'd rather loan him than sell him. Mind you the Don's must of been awful...MK Dons? It was Wimbledon bud. TheRoyalIt was AFC Wimbledon not MK Dons.No way this will not happen he is a reading first team player come on churchy hat-trick hero

15 Jul 2012 20:11:21
york city will try to bring back striker richard brodie(13)(14)Brodie will never wear a city shirt again imo..

15 Jul 2012 20:10:39
orient have taken player on trial who played for levante reserves last season. also believe will sign lloyd james over the next couple of days(3)(6)

15 Jul 2012 19:57:33
Bristol city are in advanced talks With Shrewsbury about the transfer of 19 year old striker Tom Bradshaw. Sheffield United had a bid rejected earlier on this week(10)(18)Wonder what they've seen in him that us Shrewsbury fans haven't. He barely played last season. Can't understand why a Championship club wants him.Where is this rumour? He's not for sale and will play a bigger part this season.

15 Jul 2012 19:28:00
blackpool to sign nouha dicko on a 2 year contract for 400k(20)(10)Rubbish. We hold him in high regard for the future. He will go to Blackpool on a season loan as part of the Matt Phillips deal to Wigan.Your both wrong Dicko will probably be loaned out to another team. Perhaps Blackpool again, but Wigan are not good enough for him and I doubt they will pay 3-5 million Pounds for a player who hasn't proven himself on the big stage yet. (Playoff Final)Dont want him! Dicko was a part player for us last season and didnt impress much. Loan maybe but we can do better. Phillips would NEVER move to a perenial religation battler like Wigan. Possibly Everton but more likely with the Pool for another year.Get over it matty is going nowhereI agree in terms of Dicko not coming permanently, I also agree there's a good chance he'll come back on loan but Matty Philips to Wigan?!?!?!
Please!Matty Phillips cousin (Emerson Boyce) plays for Wigan so could easily persuade him to come to the Premier League side. Blackpool seem to have forgotten that they are no longer Premier League and players will leave them.I nearly cried with laughter Matt Phillips to Wigan hahaSo you know that Emerson Boyce can easily persuade matt phillips do you? easily?Would rather have Callum McManaman from Wigan, good player with loads of potential but cant get a look in at Wigan. Cannot see Wigan even being on the list of clubs in the running for Phillips (IF he was for sale)Matty to wigan? im laughing and clapping like a seal

15 Jul 2012 19:15:24
Young Manchester City prospect Reece Wabara is close to signing on a season long loan to League 1 side Walsall, to aid his development after finding chances limited in Manchester. Wabara progressed through the youth set up at Walsall, before moving to Manchester City.(16)(4)

15 Jul 2012 18:55:49
Newcastle offer to take Andy Carroll on a season-long loan with a view to that deal becoming permanent. SSN(35)(21)Why do newcastle need carroll they have better there already it would just not make any sense you are making up rumours to suit your own wishes rather than what is best for the club grow up.They may have made a loan offer but he won't go back there, the fans hate himNewcastle made a bid which has been rejected by Liverpool - BBC Sport WebsiteNot all of the fans hate him at Newcastle, and as soon as puts on the black and white stripes he will be supported - unlike his current team.

15 Jul 2012 18:54:53
Derby youngster Mason Bennett will join Preston on loan until January. Watch this space.(5)(25)I hope not. I think he's got a part to play next season. VERY talented for his age. Future England international.Isnt there a age limit on loans. He and will hughes are very much part of the first team either way.could be a 1 month or so to give him first teamAbsolutely no chance unless you have got 7 million and i know this is 100% true the board will not sanction anymore big name departures stop livimng in dream world and grow upTo the poster above, it's a loan, and I don't think it's going to be a £7m loan fee. In all honesty though, I think you have to be 17 to move on loan, and in my opinion, he isn't ready for League 1 football, looked good on debut for us, but often looked out of his depth, although his strength did lead to a couple of goals {Ed003's Note - 18, I think }Highly unlikely!!I've heard his brother mentioned frequently in the stands at Deepdale lately, their Gordon ! ....... oh come on it is Monday morning. He's only just turned 16 and you have to be 17 minimum to be loaned out so this is bullWhat is going on with preston , westley promised stellar signings up front against southport we had 35 year old non league player and clogger from non league called jack king , are they better than ian hume
and adam barton , no they are notIt could well be a youth loan which doesn't use up one of your loanee allocations.

15 Jul 2012 18:48:19
George Thorne and luke Daniels are set for season long loan deals at Portsmouth with West brom paying their wages to help with the deal to go throught once pompey can bring players in(16)(10)Again everybody knows nothing about our problem! We can take players on Trial then sign them when aloudThorne will only be going on loan to a Championship club.Thorne will be on loan at PFC with Apps

15 Jul 2012 18:39:26
Cardiff, Leicester and Sheffield United to battle for the signature of Bradford striker Nakhi Weels. It is believed he would command a fee of around 400k. Bradford will line up either Rotherhams Alex Revell or Northamptons Adebayo Akinfenwa as a replacement.(4)(22)Nakhi wells got released by carlisle last season so i dont think championship clubs would want him so this rumour is made up plus you dont no his correct name so take no notice of this rumour. why do people lie!! {Ed003's Note - He seems to have improved at Bradford }I cant see cardiff wanting himHes not going coz he said that he was staying another seasonI hear Leicester have signed Futacs from Pompey and with Nugent, Beckford, Vardy, Futacs and Schlupp I can't see they need another striker.Absolute garbage. Akenfenwa as a replacement for Wells!!!!!!! A Tortoise for a Hare.

If Jamie Vardy is worth a million to Leicester then a minimum £750,000 plus add ons for Wells.Only got a run in the bradford team late in the season. If a club offers that sort if fee then bradford will laugh all the way to the bank. Wouldnt even need replacing as just one of the squad with hanson and hannah likely to be first choice.Nonsense - Wells is a promising player who has had maybe 4 good games in his career at a push _ Graeme Tomlinson springs to ming!NAHKI WELLS is staying at city because he wants to help city to get promotedWould snap there hand off if they offer thatCant even see sheff u paying that much in our financial positionTortoise who was top scorer in the league!
Bayo isnt going anywhere.

15 Jul 2012 18:38:20
Walsall to make 5-7 signings between monday and friday with others to follow before or shortly after the telford friendly.
belived to include simon mensing, ben burkiss, arron brown, nathan clarke, darren carter and luke rodgers(6)(23)

15 Jul 2012 18:36:21
Liam Lawrence looks set for a move to Birmingham(10)(9)What happend there, last i heard cardiff were gonna sign him?

Anyone?

15 Jul 2012 18:16:53
the śun says that iwelumo is on his way to bourenmouth in a swap for marc pugh, but also a 350K wage!(4)(17)This is a re-cycled rumour that chris iweluma is on his way to afcb. Why would we want to sign 33year old striker, certainly well past his best. For that type of money forget it as it won't happen. Bournemouth don't need any more strikers.AFCB already have 8 forwards, and Groves has gone on record stating that he has no interest in Iwelumo.Oh but he is very good - please take him.......please

15 Jul 2012 18:09:45
Bristol city have had bids accepted for emile sinclaire and simeon jackson both set to sign after brett pittman completes his move to burnley early next week.(10)(21)Would be very happy with that. £10 it doesnt happen.I wish!Burnley wont pay the 1M that BC want for Pitman.....we have turned our attention to Vokes from WolvesWhere you here that fromWouldn't surprise me if Pitman went to Burnley at all.

15 Jul 2012 18:00:37
Oxford united are eyeing up former Swindon captain Oliver Risser. The midfielder would be available on a free to any other club but Town will demand £75k for the Nambian. Paulo Di Canio has also warned Oxford off making a bid for Alan Connell stating that the wages he is on are too high for the league 2 club.(11)(11)Eh no thanks not interested in them. Di Canio's comments about Connell's wages just goes to show how much Swindon spent for promotion.Think this one is maybe a bit of a wind up, if di canio had that attitude he wouldn't of sent kerrouche to Oxford! He is passionate about local Derbys and is prob a little gutted you didn't go up last year with us!If they can afford him he will go, the rest is rubbish, if di canio wants them out they are gone and where they go is up to the player. Connel was told to go, he has several clubs after him and has the pick of which he prefers, the balls in his court. No one knows who is on what wages all you Oxford fans just keep making guesses and the facts are our players are not on big money maybe more than your club as you are still paying conference wages but you lot are still sore we got promoted and you will stagnate in L2.Absolutely no chance. Oxford don't want Swindons dead wood. Besides, Di Canio might struggle if he doesn't have a squad of at least 55 players to choose from.Connell would be a good signing would give constable a run for his moneyYou gave us joey beuchamp so you can have connel, revenge is sweetPlease take Risser, we will give you 70k to take him off our hands.....Not willing to take on dead wood? Oxford happily took Mehdi Kerrouche on loan at the end of last season.

As much as it pains some fans to read it but I think the relationship between Swindon and Oxford behind-the-scenes is quite civil.

Some not all Oxford fans need to deal from the fact (and move on) that Swindon took the risks, within their means, to get out of League Two at the first attempt.

Di Canio needs Connell, Jonathan Smith and Lee Cox off the payroll as they're surplus and also to bring in his final signings, no other reason.

For the time being, Oxford are simply Swindon's rival team who play in the division below.Oxford gave you Beachump! I think ur find you signed him off West Ham!
Oxford are not interested in any forwards! They have 7 already!!
OUFC are after a centre midfielders, and a right back!

Rhodes to go to Burnley in exchange for Austin, seeing as Huddersfield are so desperate to get him.(18)(58)He said he will only go to prem if he leaves huddErm..........more personness from the hotpot lot! Austin/Rhodes combo for the terriers next year will do just fine!Wouldnt swap Austin for Rhodes,Austin is proven at Championship level.Rhodes will go this week to reading in a deal involving morrison and cash and austin and mcormack will come in to replace him - good business. I think the exits will start soon with mccombe novak kay going out and anyone hoping to see last years promotion winning team can forget it The manager is systematically relacing most of them with the quality required for this division. htfc fanOk and 8 mill please !Rhodes n austin to form potent strikeforce for terriers next year.....if he did come to town that would be 1 of the best partnerships in the league!
terrier85 {Ed003's Note - Could you leave your email next time you post please}Absolute rubbish. Rhodes will go to a premier league club, not a mid table championship club. And he won't go anyway. This is a dodgy rumour best ive heard so far and charlie is staying at the turfAustin wont be partnering rhodes next season unless burnley sign rhodes which i very much doubtOf course it's dodgy, it's a load of utter rubbish, just like Huddersfield fans thinking Austin would (a) leave Burnley and (b) go there! No way austin has proved he can do the business whoever he plays for ,rhodes lollllllllllllllllll he find out how much better you have to be ,to do it in the championship.no wonder grayson wants austin,ps no chanceBurnley fan here. Austin realistically would go for 2mil, yes he is our best attacker bu he does have a reoccurring shoulder injury, and as for Rhodes, surely he's worth as much as JayRod at 7 mil, would be an impossible deal therefore.Rhodes has been offered a new contract and Novak was given the number 9 shirt i doubt either are going anywhereAustin + 8m dream on how many has rhodes scored a championship level like 4 for ipswichAgree with the genuine Burnley fan.Why would they give novak no 9 shirt then sell him ..Love all this nonsense about Jordan not being good enough for league one and Austin being proven Championship. Where did you buy Austin from? Oh that's right LEAGUE ONE! And had he scored as many goals as Rhodes when you signed him? Nowhere even close!A Burnley fan with common sense, whats it coming to?Still think £8 million asking price is too much for a League 1 (albeit prolific) striker, but deluded Burnley fans must bear in mind Jordan Rhodes has already been linked with Reading, Fulham and Stoke from the Premiership and half of the Championship. Why would he choose Burnley? Not exactly the hub of the world footballing centre of excellence is it?Rhodes scored 1 goal in 10 games for ipswich , but remember thats between the ages of 17 and 19 when he spent most of this time out on loanNo its not exactly the footballing hub of the world . we dont want rhodes and b we couldnt afford him . and austin will not be sold . we dont need to sell and he will be our main striker next season .Rhodes will only go to a premier league clubPersonally think this is hilarious. Rhodes has been linked with the likes of Reading, Celtic, Fulham and others, why would he move to a team worse then the one he is already at over a move to the premiership which burnley will never reach? thanks for the giggle! TheRoyalThis is the stupidest rumour I've seen on hereBurnley have been in the premiership u person !Burnley have more chance ov reaching the premiership than huddersfield

Experienced Villarreal player Marcos Senna is heading to the Premier League.

Newcastle and Everton are both interested.(9)(32)Too old for the toon's transfer policy.

15 Jul 2012 17:40:44
Reading Fc's Michael Antonio is set to join Sheffield Wednesday:(:(:(:(.Now if this is a permanent deal, I truly do think they will rue the day they let this lad go.Get him on a new contract and loan him to a champ team and let's see this boy's talent which I no is undoubtably there. We have a fair few wingers I know, but I really do think this lad could quite possibly be our best.(19)(5)As a Saints supporter, I'm sorry we have not tried to bring him back. Maybe requires some time in our Development Squad before being ready for the Premiership but a good prospect. However, I would add that as we haven't followed that course and we have been thread bare at RM/RW, it may indicate some concerns about other aspects apart from ability. May be totally unfair to the lad, but it has been known!

Saint MartinCouldn't agree more, sad to see he never got a proper run out in the team, all the best for next season from a Reading fan15 Jul 2012 17:40:44

As a royals fan there hasn't been much chance to see him play but from what has been seen he certainly has promise. I don't think he'll ever be consistent enough for premier but certainly good enough for championship no doubt.Gonna be pretty peed if we let him go.

Decent amount of games in the championship and he would soon make a premier league player IMO.I think it was down to a reluctance to sell from Reading as to why you did not get him Saint Martin. Idealisticly, we wanted to keep him here, but he has started a family and needs some stability which us loaning him out does not offer. That is why we are willing to sell him now.

LoyalRoyal94Agree with the comments with a consistent run in a team he seems to really shine And from what I have seen looks a real good player.Antonio has turned down initial contract offerConsidering we brought Antonio from tooting michem (spelling may be out there).I think it is remarkable how he has come on and I believe he could play for us in prem no doubt. There are a few game changes in a team and I really believe he is one of them.Cracking young lad with a lot of talent but he is hungry for first team football and now with the funds coming into the club and jimmy kebe going on strong, I don't see him making it into the first team at all, wish him all the luck with his future at whatever club he ends up at! TheRoyal

Keith hill has been in touch with James bailey from his return of Spain training camp. Personal terms have been agreed and bailey will be having his fitness test Wednesday. Source- radio sheffield.(23)(2)

norwich city looking abroad for possible singings players looking at are
aaron hunt st bremen 5m
maxime gonalons def mid lyon 6m
pedro leon rm real season loan
player from caen dont nkow his name 4m
claudemir attacking mid copenhagen 2.5m
yaroslav rakitskiy rb cb lb donetsk 4m
hugo almeida besiktas 4m
manuel fernandes free agent
fredrico macheda season loan(12)(26)And how exactly did you manage to get Hughton's short list of players considering he is still evaluating the squad and doesn't know what he needs?Hope your manager has a bit more of a clue!
Don't get carried away, I think you will struggle next season. It will be extremely difficult for a new manager to re-establish the previous momentum, and too many changes to your squad will not help. Good luck-think you will need it. Upside, is that Swansea have the same problem! Are we setting up a choir if we are looking for new singingsI think these look pretty good and would add that bit of class we need. It's going to be a harder league this season so I hope we invest"player from caen dont nkow his name 4m"

Your dwindling credibility just went over the event horizon with that one mate.We were linked with Thomas Heurtaux who plays for Caen but he is a defender {Ed003's Note - Udinese now}From a Norwich fan the only player that could happen from the list is A.HuntWhoever posted this has just trolled the websites for players either in there last year or one year left on contracts and thought they'd look like they are in the know by posting the above. Get a life!

15 Jul 2012 17:27:56
Manchester City youngster Abdul Razak is looking for a loan move this season to get more playing time.

It is believed that various European clubs want Razak including Lazio, PSV and FC Twente.(14)(6)

Burnley have rejected a 2m bid from Huddesfield for Austin

Fully expect them to return with a bigger bid

Huddesfield are preparing for life without Rhodes as he is close to joining West Ham(17)(34)Austin won't be leaving,Paterson is injury prone and Danny Ings isn't quite ready so Charlie will be our main man after the sale of J-Rod but as they say money talks so possibly 4-5m would tempt our board, never say never but i really can't see this one going through. The club have already stated he is going nowhere?Huddersfield would have to spend the majority of the Rhodes money as £5-6 million would tempt the board IMO.What?? oh rite so now he's off to west ham now? funny how a man who is going no where is also seen everywhere, let me guess somebody saw him watching green street and decided he was west ham bound!
terrier85Austin is staying at burnley and burnley are set to sign George elokobi from wolves for 700,000 and west ham striker john carew on a season long loanJohn Carew is a free agent as West Ham released him.No bid has been made and no bid will be made, burnley wont sell so move onBurnley won't pay carew's wages

15 Jul 2012 17:21:57
Manchester City midfielder Michael Johnson will sign for Blackburn Rovers this week in a fee around £1.5 million.(21)(22)Hope not what a waste of talent that lad is, city should be giving him away.

Just to confirm Izale McLeod is signing for Portsmouth his wife tweeted that he is going away for 10 days of pre-season tomorrow and Pompey are going to Spain for 10 days tomorrow ! Of course that is only on trial but this move has been on the cards for long time I imagine he will sign when given clearance by FL(9)(30)So he's going to sign for a team who are in deep financial trouble. yea seems a sensible decision and lacks ambition as well. Also they start with munis 10 this season. How many times have Pompey signed this guy in the last few weeks, when they are not allowed to sign anyone, and liquidation is now more probable than ever??
You are just a joke!Again for the 100th time..Pompey cannot sign anybody!!

LLS83One thing i can assure you, is that Izale McLeod will be in league 2 next season. We will find out who McLeod signs for when he signs but if what you are saying is true that would have to be one of the most stupid moves he could make!!16 Jul 2012 11:45:30
http://m.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/mcleod-set-to-be-among-eight-pompey-triallists-1-4059700

there it is!Okay question, its already pre-season so why hasnt he signed for anyone? because he's waiting for us to be able to sign people, if we cant we wont be able to compete at all, so the 'bring players in' ban will lift regardless of our situationWell just to shut most of you doubters up , Pompey left yesterday for a training camp in Southern Spain and on the plane were Izale McLeod , Simon Gillett , Lloyd Sam and Brian Howard. They are all there as triallists . None of the senior players still on Pompey's payroll have gone to Spain they are all staying at home hoping to finalise moves away from the club.Ahahha McLeod has actually gone to Pompey on trial! It was confirmed in the local paper today that he is on trial with us and has gone on the pre season tour of Spain

Huddersfield Town are interested in out of contract midfielder Kalifa Cisse.(11)(17)

15 Jul 2012 16:59:35
6 foot 22 year old Spanish forward Juanfri on trial with MK Dons according to his agent. Same agent who brought Miguel Llera to the Dons.(13)(2)You know this how?His agent is on Twitter.Juanfri sounds suspiciously like "one free".

Another transfer spoof. {Ed003's Note - Juan Francisco García Peña}

Iv heard rumour's that Francois Zoko has changed his mind about leaving carlisle and wants to re-join with the squad for pre-season training and matches, this cant be true?(18)(9)100% true seen him in carlisle today. league 1 player at the most over rated plus he couldnt cope with championship. He's over rated an not good enough for the ChampionshipUnderrated, people say he is not a goalscorer but he scored 14 and mostly played on the wingHe is due to sign for preston monday or tuesday on a 2 year dealHe has turned them down it was relased on sly spurts a week agoMy mate said he seen him near BP the other day, could be true not consistent enough for championship but premier league quality on his dayIf he was consistant easily championship standard, when its not his day doesn't stand out at allIts not 100% true, you seen him in carlisle cause his current deal has not expired yet therefor is still under contract to us, he trains at DW sports with the carliske squa but does not do any ball work or he js not involved in anything else apart from weight training and cardio training, however i have heard he is signing a new 1-year deal at cufc but its not 100% true, get your facts right!

Charlton interested in QPR striker Jay Boothroyd(20)(12)Never. We've had him once already and he was uselessWe may be interested but theres no way we will get himLuke Young is heading for the QPR exit door, Bothroyd would be goodCarp player, only got a hard shot. Would rather play a youngter. At least he would run for the ball. Please for my health let's have some decent rumours like Gomas, pele's mum anything but bloody useless waste of space players. Mind you just seen Sir Chris lining up at the chip shop with Ozil I wonder? In a way he would bring exspericances to the strikeThat's easy for you to sayHe was pretty useless last time at charlton

Derby rb bray ford to stoke(11)(22)Brayford is not going to stoke, this rumour is completely untrue so please no more lies!I wish we were after Brayford I really do, but I reckon this is just a fan based rumour.

Odds on fulham signing jordan rhodes from huddersfield have been cut from 4/1 to evens(18)(18)Wouldn't want him at FulhamWhat do you mean you wouldn't want him at fulham are you mad.... The lad smashed in 40 goals last season and is only 22... Pen him for a long contrac with us and with our other youth players we are laughing40 goals in league 1 that doesn't mean he'll succeed in the premAre fulham gonna splash out 8 mil for him? Doesnt matter what he is worth, huddserfield wont let him go for less. The chairman at hudds is more bothered about winning games than cashing in on good players.Just because he scored 40 goals in league one does not translate to 20 goals in premier league, there is a huge step up in class of defenders, and the chances in each game to get a scoring situation are few and far between.

That's exactly why no one has met Huddersfield's asking price of £8M, he might do well in premier league but its a big gamble for any club to buy a player that as yet has only performed well at Div 1 level, he could prove to be a great investment equally he could prove to be a very poor one at kind of money.Simple equation Put up, or Shut up. And even if he goes we'll be able to aqquire at four quality players so we can't lose really. Ps When he does go good luck to him because he's a credit to his parents Town and himself. Perfect bloke!

Before yesterdays game between Havant and Waterlooville and Portsmouth it looked like Brian Howard got back on the pompey coach after the game was called off(9)(12)

Shrewsbury have received an improved offer forer their striker Terry Gornell from an unnamed lleague 2 side. Graham Turner could well accept the offer, rumoured to be in the region of £80k and will use this fee, plus the money due from Swindon for James Collins to make a bid for Swindon's Alan Connell.(13)(8)Untrue he is staying with Shrewsbury and McLeod is going to join Mr CI hope not, but Connell will be a great replacement. Although, turner sees great potential in gornell.I dont think Turner will accept a 30k profit with Shrewsburys limited strike options. Gornell will not be leaving but Shrewsbury may try and sign Dave KitsonGornell is staying, Bradshaw is staying, Morgan is staying, McLeod is signing. Simple as that.Kitson? Wages too high I would have thought.Kitsons a forgotten man and isnt getting any money at pompey. Its unlikely but would be a great signingI don't mind that because we've just signed mcleodGornell is staying.Who has signed McLeod???Who comes up with this stuff? mcloed trialing with portsmouth and morrison gone to colchester!Mcleod is training with portsmouth on a trial

Rumour has it that Eriksen will turn down
a move to Manchester United which will
pave the way for a bid from Tottenham
who are set to lose one of their star men
to Real Madrid, Anderson to be shipped
out by United to raise funds to sign
Argentine winger Nicolás Gaitán reports
suggests that Anderson could be offered
in the deal.(7)(30)Gaitan was never going to be on the top of Fergie's list, considering the depth in the current position & other targets like Rodrigues etc. Also Erikson is regarded as a future star who's future definately isn't lying at Spurs! You think eriksen would choose spurs over utd? not likelyYes united are a bigger team but he will get more pitch time at Spurs 2 season then move on..... Im not saying that makes this rumor true just dont dismiss it cos united are the bigger team

QPR ins (after Asia Tour):

- Ki sung-yueng
- Berbatov or Defoe

QPR outs:

-DJ Campbell
-Luke Young
-Tommy Smith
-Matt Connolly
-Bothroyd(28)(25)They could all be true..
But i would be surprised if qpr didn't bring in another C/B

Stoke are preparing a bid for Defoe(29)(23)He's on his way to the mighty Royals as we speak - no chance for Stoke now Reading are interestedMighty? Not as mighty as the Mighty, mighty potters :D
You'll be on your way back from whence you came soon enough....He won't sign for any of you your both small clubs! The mighty Royals.. Yeah spare me the agony, now I'm not even a Stoke fan but it would be a better move if he went to Stoke linking up with Peter Crouch again could re-ignite his career! Reading would be to much of a step back for him, it's a shame football is about money not ambition now there are very few well run clubs in Britain and the likes of Newcastle, Stoke, Everton, Swansea and Norwich should be proud of themselves for doing so well on such limited funds and wage capsYou really think he would go to a newly promoted team that are gunna go right back down, than come to stoke and link up with crouch again, keep dreaming lad, reading suckYouve got to be joking readings manager has denied reports that your linked with him ? theres more chance he will go stoke to link back up with crouch !This main post made me smile, 2 two-bob teams fighting it out for a striker who, has still not learnt the offside laws. You all deserve each other.Defoe prefer Stoke to Reading

15 Jul 2012 15:38:12
are derby going to sign johnny russel

month ago everyone was saying that
derrby were going to sign the cm
ogude or was that rubbish as well.

realy going to sign and how you know(2)(12)It was that one guy who went on about Ogude and Russell. No one else..

15 Jul 2012 15:35:35
Wigan looking at the possibilities of signing Marco Pappa, Craig Dawson, Liam Trotter and Michael Owen, while also trying to offload Hendry Thomas, Steve Gohouri and Emmerson Boyce.(13)(7)Thomas and Gohouri have left on frees and Boyce isn't going anywhere.Craig Dawson going nowhere, especially a premiership rival.Boycey's getting on but the man who saved wigan last season ,to 'offload'?,he's needed to bring on the likes of lopez

15 Jul 2012 15:05:23
Defoe to sign for stoke with Walters making way for him either going to Celtic or Sunderland, Sunderland looks more likely as they also looking at Defoe(9)(28)

15 Jul 2012 14:43:48
it appears that any deal for Defoe and Simpson to Reading has broken down due to wages. Reading have reopened interest in Gunter but with new ownership for forest any deal could be tricky.
MrRfc(16)(14)No Simpson will sign.He is due to fly back to England this week to talk to Reading. As for Defoe, you got it right.UrrrrzzzzSpoke to Mcdermott after the game and he told me and my mate that no way defoe would be joining us but simpson is the bid we have put in, you are wrong 99% of the time anyway so you might as well keep putting your rubbish up for us to laugh at. TheRoyal^haha so true, Simpson will sign but its quite obvious Defoe won't join usTheRoyal vs MrRFC. We'll see whose right about this onePlease explain why i am wrong 99% of the time.
MrRfc {Ed003's Note - Don't bite MrR }Haha, regarding Simpson i am told his wage demands are above our wage cap, however the offer is still on the table so could go through if Simpson lowers his demands. we have definitely reopened interest in Gunter
MrRfcI desperately want MrRFC to be wrong but i think he might be right :( simpson will want high wages but hopefully he will want to play football and lower his wages...hope we don't get gunterHe wants 30k it not above our cap.You are wrong 75% of the time.I'm just saying, along with a lot of others, you have been wrong a lot but I am not here to fight with you man, we are royal brothers! Defoe was never going to sign, where as simpson will.TheRoyalOur wage cap is aprox 45k, im just saying what i get told. i hope i am wrong because simpson would be great. either way in brian we trust
MrRfcI can confirm we have looked into Gunter and Naughton but it looks like we will win the race for Simpson, Guthrie will be able to talk to him and i can see him signing soon. Wage will not be an issue. TheRoyal

Ex-Saints midfielder Simon Gillett is set to sign for Portsmouth, as soon as the club get the nod from the Football League.

If Portsmouth are not granted permission to start signing players again, Gillett will move elsewhere but he's willing to bide his time as he's keen on a move back south.(8)(22)Spot on with this one!

Soon after posting, Gillett linked up with the squad for their pre-season trip to Spain.

Despite his Saints connections, he'd be a great signing. Possibly even too good for us?

15 Jul 2012 14:37:20
Daily Star Sunday: Federico Macheda is being lined up to continue the Italian connection at Watford(18)(10)Lets hope not. Better players out thereHe will go to a bigger club. Shame though would love him at Watford. Great playerReally? Is he a great player? Or is he living off scoring a few important goals a couple of years ago and has done nothing since?Macheda would be good,He is a quality player and will go to a lower premiership team on loan

15 Jul 2012 14:12:39
Oxford United in talks with free agents Brian Howard and Izale McLeod(3)(24)You wont be able to afford Mcleod's wages unless you were to sell constable which isnt looking likelyWhy would we want someone who is lazy and bone idle on the pitch and as we have seven strikers he would be 8th in line for a startWe are not getting a bloody striker and I don't want Mcleod for that matter. He must be the most wanted player in Great Britain15 Jul 2012 22:17:39
Afford his wages..... he was at Barnet.Utter garbage.Port vale in for james

15 Jul 2012 14:11:31
Damian Reeves could sign a new contract with Altricham after Doncaster or any other club have failed to offer him a contract yet(3)(8)He has got offers from better clubs than altrinchamCarry on plastering Damian, and sign for Altrincham FC, it's more secure than giving it up to play in Div 1

15 Jul 2012 14:11:07
Crystal Palace to loan young Spurs striker Harry Kane next week for the season.(11)(21)To all championship clubs, i will spell it out for you! harry kane will be staying at spurs this coming season! What is the Point of Harry Kane maybe sitting on the Bench if he is Lucky at Spurs, Why not loan him out to get Matches. Remember what Spurs did the John Bostock, They Killed a Very Good Player. What and spend it wasting away in the reserves? He's off on loan to get more experience and that is a fact!Harry Kane will not go out on loan and Bostock does not have any desire.Ahead of Adebayor, VDV, Defoe, Dos Santos etc. NopeHarry Kane will break into the spurs team sometime this season! HE is THAT GOOD!Did well at Millwall, woud do better at Palace!

15 Jul 2012 14:10:42
Huddersfield Town are to make Jonathan Greening their 7th signing of the summer.(15)(18)Great who is going to be the 6th signing because we've only signed 5 so far , Dixon,Loftus,Clayton,Norwood and LynchI wish someone would take but its unlikley seeing as a manager isnt yet in placeHope not but who was the sixth? The 5 we have actually signed are scannell Dixon norwood lynch and Clayton. loftus has been drafted into the development squadOnly made 5 signings?Connor Loftus signed a one year professional contract taking the number 41 shirt.Murray Wallace is towns other signing I know not signed by Grayson but still counts on the end of season signing. JohnJohn as Murray Wallace signed in January do you call that the end of the season?Wallace was signed in last januarys window then loaned back to Falkirk , if january signings count toward "end of season" signings then we have already signed 7 players because Higginbotham came int he last window tooYes but part of deal was to loan him back to Falkirk or falkirk were not going to do business, did not officially become a town player until end of season, where as higginbottom played straight away JohnWallace joined town as soon as the scottish season ended and trained with the team before the end of the season and was technically available for the playoffs.

Crystal Palace will resurrect their interest in South African International Siphiwe Tshabalala who was on tril at the club last season. The club will proceed with negotiations with Kaiser Chief's following Darren Ambrose departure.

Ross McCormack's deal is still some way off, Leeds are trying to create a bidding war however currently as it stands only Palace and Huddersfield have submitted offers that Leeds are reviewing.

The Jose Baxter rumour is a non-story, the club have never been after the Everton winger. I have been told that the club are tracking 2 young Premier League forwards on a season long loan, one name was released to me and that was Spurs forward Harry Kane.(11)(14)Wrong , blackburn ,wolves and wigan have bid alsoC/P did want baxter, but he would not move south.None of these three have put in bids, there is only media speculation of interest in Mccormack. Not true, there are unconfirmed reports of those clubs bidding which is in large part down to Leeds trying to pressure Huddersfield or Palace to bid more, whoever bites first will probably win the race. Those 3 have put bids in,and since when has warnock worked for the media,he's the one saying offers have been madeAs long as the Tshabalala part of this is true I'd be a very happy Palace fan! Still brings a smile to my face seeing his opening goal in the World Cup against Mexico!I love how many palace fans said that the McCormack deal was a 'sure thing' and that it would 'happen tomorrow' when absolutely nothing whatsoever has happened. We told you; no sales of players not on the transfer list until we're taken over. Hopefully, it stops now.
wallyLike it or not Leeds fans, he has agreed a deal in principal , it's only because Bates wants a quick buck before he sells up that this hasn't happened as it should have. Expect there to be movement on this, this week as both Huddersfield and Palace have their bid dates cut off on Thursday. No player will be sold until takeover complete, and no deal is agreed, expect the brighton swap deal with mackail-smith to be agreed soon, as brighton would be more appealing to mccormack than a relegation battle with town or palace

15 Jul 2012 14:09:44
Coventry City have made a season long loan bid for Manchester City's Alex Nimely.(21)(5)Hope so but dont think he will join usParis born central defender William Edjenguele has decided to snubb Coventry and set to join Paris fcGone back to Paris? No, no he hasn't at all. Shhhhhh!Looks like he may still stay at cov...

jackIm sure he would move to hull in the championship than play prem football with norwich. Get real he would come to norwich over hull every time. As he would hull if u were in are pos. I think leic have every chance going up.

15 Jul 2012 14:08:13
utd fan here, heard zola wants kiko macheada on loan from us.Good strong italian striker just needs games(14)(5)Which utd? .....Newcastle, Sheffield, West Ham? {Ed003's Note - You don't have to be a genius to work it out}

15 Jul 2012 14:03:06
Man utd are interested in loaning macheda to a championship club, and zola wants to loan him.........(21)(7)

15 Jul 2012 13:39:52
Yorkshire clubs Sheffield Utd and
Huddersfield Town are preparing bids in
the region of 750k for versatile
Peterborough defender Craig Alcock(6)(17)If it is true the the Championship will win every time.LMAO - double it and you may be close - best right or left back in the division.Dont need him !Sheff Utd couldn't even afford £75,000 never mind £750,000Not the list, not going anywhere unless he requests a move.750K would just about buy his bootsIt would be understandable Alcock attracting a lot of interest but that would be a ridiculously low price for one of the best full backs in the championshipAstounding find for POSH last season and ran Gabby close in player of the season awards. Cannot see POSH wishing to offload at this point unless it is for mega mega bucks and 750k isn't.He's worth 4 millNot a chance in hell, dont think there is any thing on this page which might be trueYou got a funny sense of humor as if we will sell our best player last season for anything less than 1 - 1.5 mill and we need him so why would we sell him lolMaynard in possible swap deal for paul taylor, maynard wanting a championship move, if can agree terms with the posh, unlikly as would imagine every club in championship would be happy to take on boardEvery player has his price, and I would say your look more like £1 mil, but I dont think he would go to either of these clubs he's established himself at posh, and at best this would be a sideways move for him.I'm suprised nobodys said he's out of contract, everybody else at Posh is well according to persons who comment on here!Lol hes only worth 500k so stop over pricingTO most posh fans he's worth 2 Million, but unless he's for sale, debating it is irrelevantWhat do you know? 500k no chance, I wouldn't even take a million! We can't replace his quality for less than that so that's his worth

15 Jul 2012 13:31:29
Reading FC have pulled out of any deal to sign Jermain Defoe. Having visited the club for talks and met at the Reading training ground. We were put off by his wage demands.

Anton & the Board had been willing to pay £50k a week but Defoe wanted £70k a week. Talks have now broken down.(20)(5)Good let Defoe get his final pay check somewhere else.

15 Jul 2012 13:23:38
Cheltenham manager Mark Yates is keen on bringing experienced goalkeeper Paul Smith in as back up to first choice keeper Scott Brown.(5)(1)Not convinced he'd be happy as a reserve at League Two level.Smith has been constantly linked with Cheltenham. Hope this deal come off would be a great acquisition.

15 Jul 2012 13:16:54
Portsmouth are interested in signing premier league goalkeeper Tommy Forecast from Southampton after a dazzling performance in last nights Markus Liebherr Memorial Cup. Portsmouth scouts were at the game last night.(15)(13)Portsmouth wont be signing anyone while in admin!Would be a good move for Tommy Fourpast , the sooner it happens the better .Dazzling performance??? they could not have seen him trip over his own bootlaces then...................Portsmouth seem interested in signing people-only trouble is, they can't whilst in administration and with the financial conditions to be applied very likey Chanrai will walk. So, seriously, suggest you just hold back and see if you can avoid liquidation before you look further ahead. Certainly any possible signings would have to do the same so you will not see any progress until its sorted and you are becoming a bit of a comedy act.Weak sarcasm from a skate there. Hopefully it made you laugh. What really is funny though is that you can't sign anyone and your in league 1 with minus points. Enjoy that division, could be league 2 next! LOL! Ouch!!This is a joke post! Saints fans were joking about it on Twitter last night. After his terrible performance yesterday we were saying we would quite happily help out Pompey and their GK situation and give them Forecast.

LLS83This post was clearly a joke, don't know why the replies seem so seriousBest laugh i have had today. Anyone that was at the cup last night would know how good a performance he had. Although there are not many keepers who can say they won a penalty shoot out against arsenal.Someone obviously misheard what the skate scouts said – they actually said “the forecast is looking promising, it’s a good signâ€â€¦â€¦they were talking about the weather……COYRs lolPure wind up by a wishful Saints fan. This a saintsweb inside joke i guess? he'd send em to the conferenceIt could be a free transfer they can sign players for free. This made me laugh! Lighten up people! Tommy was awful yesterday but dosent deserve to go as low as Portsmouth.
I'm interested to see who saints will sign to challenge Kelvin as Tommy cannot be are number 2That's a little harsh on Portsmouth, they are a reasonable side still (in League One) and Tommy Forecast is only really a League Two keeper at absolute best.Portsmouth were "a little harsh" on us when we got relegated, twice, and went into administration. In fact their fans were absolute b. Given how catastrophic their situation is, and how good ours is looking, I think we've been relatively humble! While in Admin clubs are barred from signing anyone, doesn't matter if free or not. League could agree to 'emergency' loans as was the case earlier last season when they did not have enough players to fill a 5 man bench. Pompey cannot register new players of their own until out of Admin though. What a lucky bloke to be getting paid a good wage in comparison to most supporters for being so utterly useless at his job.I know Pompey fans were not exactly righteous at the time but we can show them we're better than that, ok? Southampton are a strong side, we have passionate supporters like yourself and we've pulled through to being a top flight side again. We don't need to worry about Pompey. It is harsh to say Pompey are so desperate they'd sign Forecast they are a reasonable side in their own right it's almost sad the great south coast derby is on the verge of destruction as Portsmouth struggle for survival. Southampton are a great side and as a true Southampton fan I wish Pompey the best, they don't deserve to be where they are just like we didn't deserve to have to be there those few seasons ago. I have faith they'll pull back and eventually they'll meet us back in the Premiership and when that comes we'll take pleasure in beating them all over again :)

HI Ed. Any Notts County news? We are after a striker, thought to be Craig Beattie, and a full back too. You know anything?(6)(15)Craig Beattie is going abroad. Contract offer from Notts was, let's say, tinySaw the contract did you ? It was only because we didn't have any A4 paper lying around !

burton to sigh rochdale defender Marcus holness tomorrow(7)(1)Hi Rochdale fans what can we expect from Marcus Holman any good looked solid on Saturday Burton fanJust signed .What can we expect from him Rochdale fans any good?Holness has signed a 2 year contract this morning.Rochdale fan here Marcus is decent but can be lazy at times and not very good in the air but overall very solid make a good partner ship with Nathan Stanton both were out standing when they were both at rochdale best of luck in the league any ways

15 Jul 2012 12:47:01
Greg Halford to Bristol City
Liam Lawrence to Birmingham
Eric Huseklepp to Wolves

Also Nathan Doyle, Tom Soares and Billy Paynter to join on trial before a possible move to Portsmouth once the transfer ban is lifted(13)(10)IF the ban is lifted and it doesnt look good. Anyway those players might command wages you could not afford...Oh thats the Pompey way isnt it!

LLS83Paynter will sign for Pompey but he can't go on trial as he is under contract at Leeds, what is your source on Doyle and soares? If true I wouldn't grumble

15 Jul 2012 12:40:46
Sunderland may attempt to steal Jon Walters who is seeming likely to join Celtic . Sunderland are believed to have offered close to £5million for the Ireland International(11)(27)

15 Jul 2012 12:36:55
Plymouth Argyle will complete the signing of Bristol Rovers striker Matt Harrold next week.(3)(22)Not a chance harrold likes it at rovers and is loved by the fans so he'll remain at roversHope so hes terribleBut plymouth is a much bigger club with more ambition and with the facilities to play at championship level. And the feee involved is?No they wont haha plymouth have no money and not enough for a striker with 20 goals last season with 2 years left on his contractPlymouth do have money as the owner is a millionaire they just wont pay outrageous amounts on players salariesHes not loved by fans, most the fans in the blackthorn think hes terrible and plymouth bigger club really!!We have the money, however not willing to spend itWell thats not true i stand in the blackthorn and he very rarely gets moaned at.Plymouth wont sign him he's wont want to join one of his teams main rivalsHe cant hold the ball up,gets to interested in where a centre half is all the time and i just cant believe he scored 18 goals last season but i can tell you he wont do that again he will be lucky to get double figures in open play

15 Jul 2012 12:33:46
notts county to sign clinton morrison this upcomming week and also daniel bogdanovic will sign on monday a two year deal.(11)(4)None are true. Boggy turned down our offer and the gaffer wont be offering Morrison a deal yet at least. He said hes gonna give him a run out in frienedlies before he makes his mind up. The first game is not til next Saturday.Morrison gone to Colchester many notts fans will be relived with that news for sure

15 Jul 2012 12:32:27
Danny Collins and Danny higginbotham look likely to leave stoke this season with both being told they are surplus to requirements . Wolves may be interested in Collins(11)(5)Possibly the worst defender I've ever seen! Really do hope we get him gone this time!

15 Jul 2012 12:30:57
Jon Walters looks to be wanting a move to Celtic in the upcoming season . Celtic have bid for £4 million for the Ireland international . Stoke have already been told they may have to raise their transfer budget and is a deal the stoke manager may just accepted . Walters believes it would be an ideal chance to showcase his talents on a European stage(13)(9)Might happen but why make up what Walters believes? He went far further in Europe with Stoke than Celtic last season. Stoke don't have to sell to buy but are getting rid of dead woodWalters says he wants to goWrong stoke have not got to raise there own transfer budget just got to rejuice there wage billYou dont read The Sentinel then? its clearly states that stoke need to generate some of their own transfer budget. and its reduce. christWhy would Walters drop down to that awfull league! He's considered a 5-8 goal a season striker in the premiership however if he was to move to scotland he would bang in around 15-20 a season that's how poor there league is, I'm guessing he would also take a wage drop because the SPL players are hardly the highest earners.. This rumour just makes no sence!Walters is deadwoodCome on lads let's hope he goes we can't be the bottom scoring team again and stay up and the bottom team with shots on goal and chances created me need to move on from championship players like walters and wilco and whitehead and WhelenSorry but walters has to go, so does shotton, wilko, wilson at lb, whelan, jones, collins, higgingbottom, delap, nash and big mama, seriously, these players are not premier league.Didn't say that at all in the Sentinel if you read it properly. It simply said that players have to be moved on and some money generated before new signings come in. Fairly run of the mill stuff. Nothing about funding not available.Hahah pulis has finaly realized changes have to happen thats why riccy has goneWhy would walters go to celtic when the scottish league is dieing

15 Jul 2012 12:13:54
Stoke have had a 2m bid rejected for Cameron(10)(5)Weird one this; Houston Dynamo accepted the £1.75m bid for their player however in America the MLS also owns the players contract and have demanded £3m from Stoke.Wrong the MLS and Stoke have been talking about the price for weeks there is about a half million gap in the transfer fee the MLS wants and what stoke want to pay and the players club back the deal and also the player has said in a the local papers over that he would love the move to england. MLS own all the players contracts in that league and handle the transfer dealings and the deal is ongoing and will be for some time to comeWet Sham or QPRuthless with probably be linked too, like they are with all players, sad really how they try to buy safety.... with mercenariesWho ever posted this is confused they wanted 3m dollars what is about 1.85 m pound that stoke offerd in uk money and ey exceptedAgreed just waiting on contract with player then stokes harsh medical team

15 Jul 2012 12:13:41
Blackpool's mystery Spanish player is rumoured to be Omar Ramos, formerly of Tenerife(7)(5)Who is your source?Well that's a lie because its a 22 year old trialist and he's 24

15 Jul 2012 12:13:06
Peterborough forward Jonson Clarke-Harris will be sent out on loan to Stevenage. This could be a make-weight in any deal seeing Luke Freeman go the other way.(6)(1)Can,t see this as he only signed for Stevenage in January.Considering Clarke-Harris hadn't been announced as a Posh player yet, I think that's very unlikely.

(although everyone knows JCH has signed)Freeman wont leave

15 Jul 2012 12:12:01
Manchester United and Real Madrid will battle it our for Luka Modric(8)(17)

15 Jul 2012 12:11:06
Northampton are closing on a mystery midfielder as they try to push up league 2 next season(1)(4)Boothroyd surely doesn't need any midfielders with his style of play

According to many sources, Sunderlands James McLean is on his way to Liverpool.(7)(21)Dont think so. He signed a new contract at the start of the year and likes playing for sunderland. Maybe in a few yearsHe just signed a new 5 year deal load of rubbishOnly if Liverpool pay approx. 50M for McClean..Hope so. One trick pony

Charlton, Millwall and Ipswich are battling it out for the signature of West Ham striker Sam Baldock.(3)(15)As the sunday mirror says more b/s sam baldock has lined up in all three of west ham,s friendlies and has scored in every one of them, so that does not sound like a player out of favor more like a crap paper trying to fill its sports pagesI'm not even sure if he'll be loaned out after scoring in both their pre-season games.Total clap trap.he already said he wants to stay in London so he will not come to itfcMillwall do not have the money to be persuing Baldock. Any signings made by them will be free or loan.We have already BOUGHT TWO PLAYERS MATE! I would WANT change from TEN POUNDS FOR Baldock! RUBBISHIpswich are favourites to get his signature.Even though he's only championship standard, he'll be staying and probs starting most games.Baldock may have played in West Ham's friendlies, but if they bring in another striker to complement Cole, Vaz Te and Maynard, he won't be making their 23 man Premiership squad and that would almost force him out, if only on loan.West ham have said that they do not need to sell or loan him out but if they do it will be to charlton, chris powell said in an article in the newsshoper ( look it up if you don't believe me ) that we have tried and are still trying to get Baldock, us and west ham have agreed on a price but Baldock wants a pay rise to 15-17k if he is to leave which we don't want to do so we are still talking to him about thatEveryone thinking Millwall are skint! Yes we have not got millions to spend but that doesn't mean we dont have the money to buy right players at the right price.Mark noble in deep talks with Ipswich ,and may well sign by next Tuesday.we was on loan here and says it was the best time he ever had.you this here first once again I,m always first with the correct news.Well said Millwall fan, I'm glad some fans can show common sense. The harsh reality is that most clubs in the championship won't be spending millions, and certainly won't break the bank for one player, even if it is Sam Baldock.Millwall bid for baldock before west ham did originaly, we offered around 750k for him but west ham more than doubled that. Jackett has and always will do clever business wont pay over the odds for players n defo wouldnt waste it on baldockMark Noble to Ipswich I'm a town fan mate and your having a laugh he won;t join us your making us blues fans look stupid plus his wages are far beynog what we can afford to pay him

Marriappa should be officially a reading player on Monday. he was at the Wimbledon game.
MrRfc(25)(5)Apparently we're in the running for Chris Gunter... Does this mean that the Simpson deal is off?Simpson deal looks off, wages too high. same as defoe. we want gunter but with new forest ownership it may be hard. reportedly interested in naughton and young.

Charlie Austin on his way to Huddersfield according to the Sun today. Could be the trigger for Rhodes exit. {Ed025's Note - dont buy the sun!!..(14)(24)Ppot newspaper.... Austins going nowhere .. would be a backward step if he did .....Austin to Huddersfield?

Unless they've got £5 million + going spare he won't be! We don't need to sell him as the finances are okay for this season at least, he's still got 2 years left on his contract and after the sale of Rodriguez he will be the 1st choice striker!Never in a million years will Burnley sell for £2 000 000. It would have to be double that. Also in the Mirror, what a potent strike force that would be, Rhodes and Austin with Novak on the bench. Wow!Don't think it would be a backward step. Burnley have no money! the transfer money from Jay Rodriguez is being spent on paying off debts and keeping the club afloat. Town is a bigger club, more financial backing and with much better prospects of staying in the Championship that Burnley do!!!It would not be a backwards step and Rhodes is going nowhereUdders who ? consider where uve been for god knows how many years then consider where Burnley have been for the past 10 years... no comparison really. think about it ... whats your chairman worth ? £300m.... then ask yourself whats the Burnley board worth , again no comparison. as for udders being a bigger club, get real. smallest club in yorkshire.... by the way Burnley are totally debt free, check your facts outHope we don't sign him tbh, never been that impressed by himIts where you have been thats important, its where you are going that matters...as a side not i am a town fan and i am very skeptical about this rumor, but please dont mistake town for a small club with no money or ambitionWhy don't outside fans realise that huddersfield town have one of the richest chairmen in the country?? he has £300+ million.£700m, htfc are bigger clubs than barnsley, donny, rotherham, bradford, york & htfc are a bigger club than burnley. from a swfc fanBurnley already proven a selling club this summer! Fact!Wouldnt want Charlie Austin at Huddersfield too sloooow by farJust because town are trying to sign a striker doesn't mean they will sell Rhodes.

Austin and Rhodes will be towns front 2 this season. UTT

Burnley will step up interest in George Elokobi this week in a bid to land the Wolves player for 700,000

Brian Stock will not be sign for Burnley though has he failed a medical last week(18)(7)Hope we do get elokobi hes a beast in defence n if we do get him we will have a solid back four in elokobi - edgar - shackell - trippier :) happy days for the clarets as long as we dont sell any more playersWhy would Howe want him when we have lafferty and mee to play LB?Because its not enough cover for defence and in my opinion elokobi is much better than both lafferty and mee , more powerfull and more experience i would take elokobi if we can get him . We need sum beef in defencePlenty of beef. Not great with the ball. But always gives 100%. Not a premier player and decent championship player

Kim Bo-kyung says he will do his best to make an impression at Cardiff City if his proposed move from Cerezo Osaka materialises. Celtic are reportedly keen on signing Kim as well but the 22 year-old is already preparing for life in the Championship this season. transfer fee is around the £2.4 million mark.(12)(4)Glad hes not coming waste of muni in my opinion who could come out celtc midfield to accomadate him???If he was a waste of money Malky would not try and sign him at all, think about it

The rumours intensifying about Charlie Austin joining Huddersfield town from Burnley for £2 million. This would mean McCormack deal is off.(17)(16)Dream on, no way in hell Charlie Austin is leaving Burnley, especially for Huddersfield. And why has Sean Morrison has changed his twitter pic to him playing in Huddersfield colours, is Rhodes finally on his way to Reading in a cash + Morrison deal?£2m you having a laugh, hes worth as much as Rhodes ... proven championship striker not league 1 ...... hes already stated hes really happy at BurnleyHtfc fans are a very deluded bunch. signing every player outside the PL .. get real . each day i come on this site which is one of the best around to read total garbage . pls pls pls genuine rumours only ..........Mccormack deal was never on, rhodes now linked with west hamDon't you think the front 2 will be Rhodes and Austin?Sure burnley will let austin go for 2 mil after 90 mil for going up and around 22mil selling players over 5 seasons , we still have no money at burnley good young manager , old tight skint board that has some how blown over 100 mil on what ?? not players or ground improvements,, we are a joke of a club with some of the best fans in the country who should get a lot better than they get ! {Ed001's Note - you don't get 90m for promotion!!}In 2009 season you did get £90m including the parachute payments {Ed001's Note - so you didn't get 90m in 2009, you got 90m spread over 5 years. Which isn't an extra 90m, as it doesn't mean 90m more than they would have got over the next five years without promotion.}Mccormack aint going to sign, stop all this rubbish,if its not you its palace, again no chance. If you actually have a look it says McCormack won't sign, Austin will. Stop saying McCormack won't sign, when the original post actually says that anyway.

oldham have given up their interest in #
Leon Clarke and willl now look at other

monitering his situation.(10)(4)Clarke is to good for us anyway. why not try and sign some1 like westcarr of chesterfield hes quick and would be better for us than them cos he would get lots more chances. its jus a thought by the way guysAtleast it shows the ambition of the club

Swindon Town and Plymouth Argyle have agreed a fee for around £175000 for striker, Alan Connell. Alan Connell will be taking his medical on Monday and then agree personal terms on Tuesday. Alan Connell will be given the number 10 shirt.(15)(18)This rumour is very much true.
I posted last night saying he was down in plymouth and will take the number 10 shirt.
Last week i also posted that Jamie Lowry would sign after having a medical! How do u know that this is true?Great buy for Plymouth, many Swindon fans will be sorry to see Connell goHe was released by Swindon so how is there a fee....He wasn't released, he was transfer listed so there is still a fee.He was transfer listed, so fee involved. Good sell for Swindon. Was a good impact player but didn't thrive in the chance when given the starting berth. Paolo lost patience and wouldn't adapt to L1.Would be good buys for Swindon in our push for the Championship. Would also like to see Harry Kewell arrive also. If this is the case can see another 1st team casualty. Likely candidate Matt Richie for around 1.5 million. No he isn't released but transfer listedHe was not released by Swindon,he was told he would be surplusHe wasn't released he was transfer listed...therefore a fee is payableHe hasn't been released PDC has told him to find another club. So there will be a transfer feeHe was not released just told he could find another club, still 1 year on contract I believeI was right about Jamie Lowry and i am right again!
He has also played for Torquay so he knows the area very well!!
Just wait and see!
My names Jose Q and i am in the know!He wasn't released he was transfer listed so there is a fee.We never relesed him we put him on transfer listHe has not been released. He is on a two year contract and has been put on the transfer list by town. We wish him all the best. Sure he will do a great job for you.We did put him on the transfer list, but didn't PDC say he would not ask for a fee if he went sooner rather than later?OK we know he is transfer listed,in Plymouth for a medical tomorrow and will sign a two year contract (if the deal doesn't break up)
but what else do we knowWish Alan well he is a top proSo are you saying he is transfer listed and not released? How can plymouth afford 175k jose if you dont mind me asking? theyre broke are they not?The fee is not 175k. I did not post that.
All i said was he was having a medical and signing on monday!
Just wait my friends!
Alan the 10 shirt is yours! If you are the same guy that said Lowry was having a medical, then I beleive you and following on from what other people on here have said then A) Good Striker B) free if he goes sooner rather than later which is also good
So good call again Jose Q well doneArgyle not broke - that was last year. We are now back to being run properly and should be amongst the biggest clubs in L2.Alan Connell was amazing for afcb then he got a broken leg and never played the same again

Reports in Japan state Arsenal's Ryo Miyaichi will be loaned out to Norwich City on a season long loan for the upcoming 2012/2013 campaign and it is suggested that this will be announced on Monday.(14)(4)Well hughton and the squad are in Austria all of next week, so I find this highly unlikely.Players are often signed when the first team are away on preseason tour. if it happened he would probably stay back and train at colney until they returnHughton and the squad have nothing to do with the announcement of players. Hughton states what players he wants and then the board takes it from there. Not saying it'll happen, but just because the squad is abroad doesn't mean ncfc can't sign/announce any signings.

Walsall FC are to abandon their hunt
for players and are looking to bring in
their youth players for the forth comming
season!(11)(8)Wouldn't suprise me being that bonser is more bothered about his own wealth and not Walsall'sNot surprised either. There is, and never will be any ambition at WFC as long as the current board are in control. While we have a good youth set up, what is the point of bringing them through to the first team only to ship them on (for next to nothing)?

The fans want to see success on the pitch, and you can only get success from bringing in experienced players for this level.

If we carry on like this, we'll be out the league in a couple of years!YAWN!! Never has been any ambition? other than the most succsesful period in the clubs history you mean???????
In the last 15 years we have spent 4 yers in the championship, been promoted to it twice, won the league 2 title and spent the other ten years in League one, which is historically our level. Still, not let the factsget in the way of a good gripe!!

15 Jul 2012 10:25:00
Norwich will offer 4m for center back Curtis Davies of Birmingham. There has been an inquiry to Arsenal for Ryo Miyaichi on loan which should be settled this week. Matty Phillips will sign for 4m and that will be it unless we can snatch Vurnon Anita from Ajax after the friendly. There is geniune interest as he can play LB, CM and LM.

NCFC jeff (i work inside the club and have a good idea of whats going on.)(13)(19)Just because you work at the box office or at the kiosk selling pies doesn't mean you have any inside knowledge of what Hughton is planning.Who said he worked at the box office or the kiosk? dont judge people he could actually have a really good job at norwich cityIf he did have a good job at Norwich he would not be spouting off about transfers on this site. Especially not using a name. Its, as with 99.9% of the rumours on here, a load of guess work. He probably has no connection what so ever!If it is full of guess work, why you on the site reading it?Because some people actually have useful insights on targets and other things about a club which we support and are interested in. And I agree with the other comment, just because the original poster works for the club it doesn't mean he has any idea what's going on and I don't think the club would like him leaking the clubs transfer policies online. If people are just going to state that everyone with links to the club are lying, then what's the point in coming onto this site?

15 Jul 2012 10:16:48
Norwich will launch a 4m bid to Cardiff to prize away Peter Whittingham(10)(23)Really hope that out of all the rumours this one is deffinatly BSWe dont need the money, you are not getting one of our best players. We don't need to waste the money either. one of your best players will become one of our subs, that isn't good for anyoneIt dont matter they are going to have to bid a lot more than that and Hughton wont spend that type of money on a player if it spends half of his budget, and Malky wont sell him unless its stupid money, and football fans including Norwich fans are going to question my post saying this 'well he could just want to go to Norwich out of interest for prem football' please he's been one of our most loyal players thats ever played for us and he wont leave unless Malky says so, he does not want to leave the Barry area anyways so sorry if this takes Norwich fans hopes away but the move is just not going to happenTake it away? no, it keeps hopes alive.
and loyalty?
Leeds fans expected their captain, Howson, to be loyal, we took him.
City expected butterfield to be loyal, but again, we took their captain.
loyalty has its limit, and when a better style of football is offered, that is generally the limit
that being said, I'd rather not have him. In my opinion, we need more experienced players than him

Ambitious Swindon will announce the double signing of Lee Barnard and Sanchez Watt early next week.(7)(13)As a saints fan i have to say it would be sad for Barnard to miss the shot at the premiership... but then again he will score goals for fun in league one instead of sitting on the bench at saints.Source? Bernard would be excellent but we want Bostock as opposed to WattBarnard would be a fantastic signing for SWINDON TOWN...
BUT would he wont to drop back down to division 1.??Well we could be in for both watt and bostock, as watt is a winger cum striker isnt he? bostocks more a centre midfielder
hope we get all three that would complete the picture nicely

Bournemouth are set to announce the signing of Bury LB Joe Skarz(7)(4)Skarz is a good LB Huddersfield should have kept him, another of Lee Clark's blunders in letting him go.This is another one that has come in under the radar, joe sharz is the right age, lower league experince starting at home town of huddersfield. Tall 6' strong left back loaned to hartlepool and shrewsbury [impressed former manager] and does ok at bury town. Could be interesting? Rumour is he is in £100,000 - £150,000 range but have heard nothing yet from bournemouth. another un-disclosed transfer fee if I know afcb , or maybe a freebie.Wheres this rumour come from.groves has said in press a lb signing isnt close to being done.I see he is under contract still onley signed a new deal in feb so dont know if he would fancy coming to us.Groves hinted that lb would be 2nd signing in near future, few things had to be sorted first. That suggests soon!Carnt see it happerning they've oready got a lbFormer barnsley and reading midfielder brian howard just released by reading currently training with portsmouth could be heading to dean courtBrian Howard certainly got experience and the right side of 30, would give a bit more steel in midfield.

Colchester have former Blackburn defender Jackson ramm and ex Southend midfielder merrick lewis on trial.

Rumoured to be in talks with striker David Connelly(7)(2)Ramm looked pretty useful against heybridge dont think lewis will sign as so many cm at club but conolly could be the strikerrClinton Morrison signed for Colchester only confirmed matter of minutes ago.Clinton morrisson signing for the Us is great news, really looking forward to the new season

15 Jul 2012 09:08:31
Liverpool on Verge of a 18M swoop for Salomon Rondon from Malaga, the 22year old Venezuelan international is the "Specila Signing" the BR talked about when discussing transfer targets early this month, this would put an end to the Dempsy interest and could see the departure of Carrol ove this transfer window.(7)(18)18milllion!?!?
That would be a stupidly high figure, but Liverpool are masters at paying high prices for average players.

Bolton wanderers are in talks with real sociEdad over the 1 million signing of Norwegian centre half Vadim demidov. His contract expires next month and wolves are also interested(6)(5)We dont need a centre halfIf i had to pick out of wolves or bolton then you look at the future in clubs and u would have to go to wolves come on lol. WWFCCourse he should choose wolves, bolton are triple there clubs worth in debt! won't suprise me if they don't go in to administration real soon if they don't get promoted this season! highly likely they have a big chance though! there not letting go of many of there star players! Are you being deliberately dim? How many times does it need to be said that Bolton are in £10 million worth of debt to the banks- less than man utd owe to the banks. The rest of our 'debt' is to our owner! So administration is not likely to happen.Bolton will not be a club in meltdown. simply put we owe our owner 90 million and a bank 10, banks charge intrest owners dont!BOLTON DO NOT HAVE A LARGE DEBT !. sick of people saying this when its not true

Malky Mackay is to give Kenny Miller a chance in America.
As we have lots of strikers in the Cardiff squad, the Cardiff board are insisting that Mackay can only replace strikers not add more. This departure of Kenny Miller (for around £2m) will open the door for Craig Bellamy to join the bluebirds.(11)(10)What a load of rubbish ... Cardiff have ripped up his contract and he leaves on a freeHe is an underated striker, the running off the ball was unbeliveable, mackay shouldnt let him go.No they haventToo many strikers... what a joke !Who and what says Cardiff have ripped up Miller's contract proof please...exactly shhhhh, but i hope Miller doesnt leave class act almost an all around player only just needed to score more goalsMiller should stay an see what happens this season, i would only urge him to go if he was in the way for bellamy to come back, as i beleive beller's is a better player, miller is good just starting to fade and has no aggression in him what-so-ever....man up miller! This guy is right Cardiff have too many strikers. Mason, Miller, Gestede, Earnshaw, Velikonja and soon to be Bellamy (or winger).
All these players will want 1st team football and in Malky's tactics there are only 2 spaces sometimes 1.Miller is set for Vancouver. source: news

Peterborough have made a £1.2m bid for Stevenage winger Luke Freeman. Posh see Freeman as the ideal replacement for Boyd.(4)(10)Darren seemed to indicate that although he would like to add a couple more players to the squad that they need to work on getting rid of some first. So - could it be that Boyd has a deal on the table which would allow this to happen?Where have peterborough come up with that, if they were going to buy him he would have gone with bostwickPosh wont bid in for Freeman Stevenage want to much monry for him and posh wont pay that for someone who will be used in rotation

Hi Ed (003 i think),

Holloway is on the official blackpool site saying they are taking two spanish players on trial, one going to the camp in portugal (it doesn't say if the other is attending). 22 year old attacker, from a spanish B team nearly got into the A team but his manager got sacked then he didn't get a look in. And a 26 year old whose club couldn't pay him, also spanish.

Any ideas who these players might be?

DPG(8)(9)To replace Ince and/or Philips, the latter going to EvertonI think the 22 year old is Lucas Porcar, played in Villarreal B team last season. No idea on the 26 year old however Tom de Mul has been released by Sevilla and he is a winger so it could well be him...Afraid not, to complement Matty and Ince actually,
Getting a bit boring now tbh, Philips is going to every club in the country apparently, we have had offers this summer for them both from PL clubs and they've all been turned down flat.......not sure what makes Everton so special?Or to replace neither and add to the squad.
Just because clubs are interested doesn't mean they will go.I think they will both stay, they both know we can get automatic next season.

UTMP!Porcar is 24 {Ed003's Note - Sorry for not replying,I've been away for a couple of days,I really don't know who they are without guessing, but they are definately not replacements for said players,Porca is 22 years old and fits the bill from the comments Holloway said.}Hi guys a villa fan here theres been talk on our page of us buying ince or phillips
just wondering what the rumors are on these 2 on your page are they staying put or moving on if so where toEverything on our end says they (ince and phillips) are both staying, despite the constant rumours from other clubs saying they are signing them. Villa are one of the better clubs linked with them. However the likelihood of them leaving this summer is small. To the villa supporter, there staying put mate its all just wishful thinking from arm chair supporters they are both in Portugal training as we speak and I honestly can't see them leaving with automatic promotion on the cards that will be the perfect way Holloway will want to attract the intrest from the correct clubs.Staying put villa fan, Blackpool are cash rich and dont need to sell and the players want to stay=forget it and jog on....best of luck to villa next season

QPR have made a bid for Man Utds frozen out frontman Dimitar Berbatov. The fee is believed to be £8 million.(27)(21)This could be true as yous lost out on Defoe who looks good for ReadingDefoe is not going to reading.Don't want either of them yeh they both get goals but just don't work as team players. With cisse and adel we've got our quota of that type of player and you gotta keep some sort of balance

Alan Connell is in plymouth this weekend and will sign after hes had a medical on monday!(11)(15)He'll be a great signing finally a proven goal scorer at this leavelThis is not true. He will definitely not be signing for us, this information has come straight from the club.Sorry to say this but he would want to join a club that are either in L1 or a club that will challenge for promotionWe will challenge for promotion next season

Hull City Will Ask Everton To Take Victor Anichebe
On Loan Next Week As Hull Want To Strengthen There Attack.

Thoughts ?(8)(20)Would be a good signing can see this happening because of the money the allams are willing to put in the clubWon't happen as hull are close to bringing a target man in for £2mI thought the allams had enough money to sign and pay 40K a week for a striker !! Or was it a just excuse to get rid of little Nicky

Mark McGhee will be stepping up his search for a goalkeeper in the next few weeks.

With Scott Bevan out for up to two months, McGhee will bring in someone to challenge Connor Gough for the No 1 shirt.

Corridor whispers favour a return to the Memorial Ground for Conrad Logan on a short term deal initially. Rovers are also talking to Reading however about Mikkel Anderson who would also be well received by the fans.(5)(7)You wouldn't get Andersen permanently, you'd have to fork out a big fee. You'll be welcome to him on loan though.

ed any chance of Buzsaky joining cardiff this summer? {Ed001's Note - don't know sorry, he is a free agent so it will be completely up to him where he goes.}(3)(12)He would be a decent signing i think we got enough CM's but it would be good if we had another goalscoring Midfielder like for instance Jason Koumas if we do make sure that Midfielder ain't going to be as worse as the Koumas 2 seasons backBuzsaky linked to us yes, the link is on Sky Sports

Shocking news! Francois Zoko looking to start fresh at former club Carlisle United The striker was on the verge of joining Sheffield United but the deal fell through. Also the striker found out its to hard to join a championship team so fast!(4)(13)Blades manager Danny Wilson denied any contact with Zoko so that is a massive flaw in your rumour.If true god does exsistAmen! This guys record is ordinary at best.Is that why mangers call him the best player outside the premiership on his day. {Ed003's Note - Who said that? }

Paul Dowining impressed in the friendly against Aston Villa and could be offered a deal by the brewers. Carl Martin looked solid in the game and could be offered a contract, along with Lee Bell and Marcus Holness(2)(2)

Charlie Mulgrew flying home from Germany early for signing talks with prem clubs. Celtic have agreed a 5m fee for the utility man with 2 prem clubs(4)(19)That is utter rubbish he isnt going anywhere and 5million you having a laugh try min 10 million he was scotlands player of the yearCant see why any player worth his salt would want to stay in scottish football , it was a joke before you took rangers out the equation, any decent players need to be tested week in week out to improve you just arent going to get that in the spl.i think any player north of the border is up for grabs now....No player is worth 10million in the SPL. How much you sell him for then when you rebought him from Aberdeen ? For some reason you think your players are worth millions. Best player last season was one S Naismith until he got injured ! You know that , be honest ! You are all talking about buying Rhodes Ciani etc and your manager says no one is comng in !!!! Wake up and smell the roses.I hope all the managers down South share your opinion. That way, no one will be able to sign any of the current Celtic team and they will continue to grow and develop. Then, in a couple of years, you will see the real worth of Forrest, Kayal, Hooper, Mulgrew, Wanyama etcNo player is worth 10million in SPL, haha tell that to Jelavic who scores more in England than he did in SPL. or Charlie Adam who couldn't even get on the pitch here lol.
