Man City want to add more youth to their squad and Argentine playmaker Javier Pastore is top of their list. Also they want Pedro Piatti a Spanish winger who plays for Almeria. They would cost £40 million together as Pastore is wanted by Inter and Real madrid.
Well Pastore just signed a new deal to stay at Palermo till 2015 and is adamant he doesn't want to move at this stage so thatr isn't going to happen at least this Jan or summer(1)(6)

I too have heard whispers about this, and funnily enough I was blocked by the Cardiff City Forum and been threatened by a club director (SB) for daring to ask about this.
I work in the media and am contracted at the moment to the BBC in Llandaff, Cardiff. There is little information being given away by the club, and when asked to speak on Sports Wales recently about this the owner Dato Tan Chien Ghee refused to comment.
Also, a lot of the wages are now being paid externally (Bellamy, Chopra and Whittingham's wages do not come from the club) and this has lead to many questions being asked about the owners.
I gather that the club is actually trading whilst insolvent, and the accounts posted to Companies House are factually incorrect. The club is making money on match-days and also via rent payments from the Cardiff Blues Rugby team, but most of that money is then sent abroad as an 'insurance' against the club.
Tan and Ghee are big gamblers, and would even gamble the future of the club in order to make more money for themselves. Very much a case of high stakes for Cardiff, and if rumours are true they could face administration, liquidation or even expulsion from the league.(16)(6)

Won't happen mate - there are too many people out there who will see that it won't, even if it means forcing the board out.

PLYMOUTHS board of directors are holding out for more cash from Ridsdales consortium, whoever they sell to they will lose significant amounts of cash, Ridsdale is biding his time he knows the closer the court date the cheaper the price for Argyle. Ridsdales consortium recently tried to buy Hull city, so their credentials financially must run past say 60 million pounds minimum. Argyle would cost them including the debt 15 million pounds, that would leave Peter Reid with a big warchest, probably not the 45 million shortfall but likely 5 to 10 million pounds. Ridsdale love or loathe always creates a splash, possibly due to his rotund figure, more likely his wallet.
Ridsdale's bid for Hull City was a myth, there never was any such bid and if there was going to be, it would be at half the level you have mentioned.(14)(18)

Just reading on the main page that Richard Dunne will be put up for sale in January by Villa, if this is true Wolves very well may go in for him as we narrowly missed out on signing him when Man city sold him, Dunne has also played and was regularly picked for Mick McCarthy when he played for Ireland same as Keane who were both young players at the time, also with Lescott being sold or around the £10m pound mark he would be cheaper lets see what happens here.
