EFC News: well everton don't have a lot of money, so this should happen
Van Der Meyde ($3)
Mikel Arteta (Part Of Moutinho $17)
Lescott (Part Of Veloso $15)
Alan Hutton maybe purchased by Man Utd in the summer as Alex Ferguson knows of his ability and Harry Redknapp prefers who's good at the moment rather than how they will be in the future. Red Nose Ferguson will probably make an enquiry at the end of the season.
Harry really likes this team he's got right now apart from Gomes. Although a lot of the Spurs faithful believe he's a quality keeper that just needs to settle it appears Harry may offload him unless he learns to get the basics right. If he does go Spurs will try for one of Joe Hart/Scott Loach/Wayne Hennesey/Kieran Westwood with Cudicini as backup and to help them with his expierence.
Bent pretty much looks like he's going but Spurs want to fork out as much money as possible. They are pretty hopeful Man City will take a sniff and splash out. This means that Harry will want a new tall striker to compete with Pav. He currently looking at Zigic & Llorente as they are both giants and very lethal in the air.
Harry also would like a left winger but will not spend loads as he feels he has his ideal starting XI. Someone like Adam Johnson from Boro maybe brought in. Chimbonda may leave for a French club on loan as he feels his time in England is coming to an end.
Also expect next season that Obika/Rose/Townsend/Taarabt will start getting games as Harry wants to build up a good youth system like he did at West Ham with Carrick, Defoe, Ferdinand etc.
Good times ahead I hope COYS
Martin O'Neil was at the Leicester v Leeds game on Easter Monday with his wife. Of course she may be a Foxes fan like at least one of his daughters, or he could have been watching possible targets/acquisitions for next season, or both. Villa have in the past been rumoured to be interested in England under 21 left back, Joe Mattock, however it is far more likely that MON was assessing the much sought after Leeds midfielder Fabian Delph. News from Artur Steppe.

Re: West Ham takeover
Have to get myself one of these diamond magnets, make myself a fortune.
To the people who keep saying that when united sell Tevez they will buy . . . from the money.
How many times does it need to be said that United don't own Tevez, he is on loan
The guy who mentioned the fact that Ryan Babel had a big bust up with Rafa Benitez is absolutely right. Ryan was absolutely fuming that he was totally left out of the squad against Blackburn and feels that he was brought to Liverpool under false pretences. Rafa promised to use him mainly as a second striker but has actually converted him into a winger against Babel's wishes. We all know that Ryan wants to play for Arsenal so there may be a deal that would see Babel leave to Arsenal initially on a season long loan with Theo Walcott joining Liverpool also on loan. If the loan moves prove to be successful for both players and it suits both teams then a permanent swap deal could take place. This is something that I learned after talking to an extremely good source linked to the club and this is something that Babel wants too.
On to other talk, Rafa has a list of 95 potential summer signings that his scouts will be watching over the next few weeks and this list will then be narrowed down to 20 players. Rafa will only look at the final 20 if the price, age, potential and mentality is right for the club. On the list currently are Gareth Barry, Glen Johnson, David Silva, (although Rafa has denied he is not interested, if Silva became available then he would go back for him).
Man City to go for old players seeking a last massive paycheck. They realise that they can not attract players like Kaka, Messi and Terry to Eastlands without Champions League football, thus they will make APPROACHES for Fabio Cannavro (Real), Ronaldinho (AC Milan), Amoroso (AC Milan), Trezeguet (Juventus), T. Henry (Barcelona), Nesta (AC Milan) and other players over the age of thirty that everyone has heard of.
The Arabs have also realised that Mark Hughes is not uo to the task at Eastlands and will try to get in a big name manager who has experoence working with some of the massive egos that they want to bring in ie; the Special One.

Firstly, let's clear something up. Neither Liverpool nor Man U will have significant sums to spend in the summer unless they get new owners. Liverpool's financial situation, in particular, is perilous right now and promises made to Rafa are likely to have to be broken. Despite that they'll find the £8m or so they'll need to buy Gareth Barry. The guy who suggested Johnson and Agbonlahor joining him sounds like he's got it spot on – Liverpool desperately need to up the homegrown contingent ahead of rule changes and both would be keen to join – Johnson for the big step up and Gabby for the terrible way he's been treated by Villa fans this season. £25m would capture both, so some sales would be required (Dossena and Babel to start with).
Man U's summer will be dependent upon selling lazy whiner Ronaldo to Real. Expect him to go for close to the £70m mark. That'll confirm Tevez as a United player. Don't expect lots of movement on strikers and attacking mids at OT – Macheda, Wellbeck, Tosic and Ljajic represent the future of the club. Nani, Park, Fletcher and O'Shea will all stay and only people who haven't been watching them this season would think otherwise. Scholes may hang up his boots and Wes Brown may leave in search of first–team football. Berbatov won't leave – he's part of the post–Ronaldo plan. Expect a strong defensive midfielder to arrive and possibly someone who can play left and centre back plus, if Ronaldo goes, a right winger – Valencia or Ribery. United won't spend more than they receive from selling Ronaldo.
The summer's big spenders? Man City and Spurs, I suspect.
With Luton Town's relegation from the football league confirmed, the club will inevitably be buying and selling in hope of an immediate return to League Two.
The heart of the Luton Town team, Keith Keane and captain Kevin Nicholls will remain at the club, as will goalkeeper Dean Brill. Mick Harford has stopped playing Jake Howells as he doesn't want scouts watching him, noting him as a seriously important member of the team for next season.
Definite departures from the club include all the loanees including the very impressive Chris Martin and Claude Gkanpka who looks set to seal a £500,000 move to Leicester City. Asa Hall looks to also seal a £500,000 move to the Championship with Norwich and Crystal Palace keeping tabs. Despite only signing for the club permanently in January, £80,000 arrival Tom Craddock will probably also be on his way out but for a lot more than what Luton paid for him at about £650,000 with Scunthorpe interested. Luton's sales will seal just under £2 million in total.
Harford is looking to bring in Andrew Mangan from Forest Green Rovers for around £150,000 despite the player being involved in a recent betting scandal. Harford is also keeping tabs on Salisbury duo Matt Tubbs and Charlie Griffin. Clubs will still be loaning Luton Town players with Shrewsbury Town set to loan keeper Jasbir Singh and Norwich City set to continue their affiliation by loaning by loaning 19 year old Luke Daley.

Pedro Mendez will definately be leaving Rangers in the summer.
He says its the most split and demoralising dressing room he's ever encountered.
The only way he'll stay is if Walter is a man of his and boots Barry Ferguson out.
If Ferguson plays again, Pedro will leave.
Where? i don't know but i'm sure there will be plenty of takers and Rangers will not be hard to deal with, because as everyone knows Rangers are skint.
Rangers apparently looking at nothing but free transfers and only if they move some players on.
To the guy who said this. . "where on earth do you think cardiff will get this kind of money!?
Taylor will remain on loan with a view for a permanent deal in the summer, this is the same for Chops and Quincy.
Eddie Johnson will remain if he takes a pay cut"
For a start Chops is already signing in the summer for a record 4 million–already a done deal.
Quincy won't stay,, not getting a look in at the 1st team. Eddie Johnson won't sign look at his record 2 goals all season.
Money wise–Promotion money has all been promised to Dave Jones by Ridsdale. There are obvious signs of a take over at the club, first of all Ridsdale used all his bonus money at the end of last season to buy more shares at the club. Secondly Dave Jones decides to spend his bonus on more shares in the club and then thirdly Keith Harris decides to become a board member and since then a bunch of business men have been linked with the club. So do you still think Cardiff won't have enough money ?? Get your facts right !!!! ––– The Blues Are Going Up –––
Arsenal to sign Simon Showell from Wolves u18, dubbed the English Lionel Messi. Wolves to sign Luke Moore from West Brom as well for 2.5m.
