Ian Holloway has held talks with Blackburn Rovers. {Ed003's Note - Really ??}

Oh no he hasn't! Do you think Karl Oyston would allow this without first agreeing a release fee?

Rovers wouldnt appoint Holloway, they want a yes man in the mould of Steve Kean and IH wouldnt fit the bill.

Confirmed in the news this morning. Oyston wants £500k before Holloway can leave

This Blackburn connection was reported on Sly, with a £500,000 compensation
deal suggested. I hope not as to lose Ian
would be a massive blow to our club.

Wud rather have mcgoldrick, the rest can go !!

Sign McGoldrick NOW!

Mk Dons are speaking to striker Jonathan Forte about a loan move until end of season. He is unsettled at crawley and the dons see him as the perfect striker. He has pace and likes to play off the defenders shoulders

Good Signing if we were to get him

Hope this is true very good striker ( with pace!!!)

Forte is on a 3 month loan at Crawley to Jan 2013.

I fact his loan finishes begining of November.

Jonathan forte is a good player so sign him up robbo

appleton to stay at portsmouth after he turned down bolton and burnley

source the news

I believe he did a interview earlier and said that both clubs hadn't approcahed him. So he hasn't turned anyone down

NO HE DIDN'T! He said he has had no contact from either club and has played down reports linking him with the vacant managerial posts at Bolton Wanderers and Burnley.

So therefore...he hasn't turned either club down, as no contact has been made!

Yeah I'd sdtay at a club where I could only sign a player dfor a month at a time and never know if I was going to get paid over a championship side to.

Huddersfield are keeping tabs on Jay Emmanuel Thomas from Ipswich and Matt Green at Mansfield

Jay Emmanuel Thomas would be a good addition to the squad.

You'll have to stump up at least 2.5 million for JET.

Please take JET, he's garbage. A luxury player, in an awful Ipswich side. I'm afraid when heads are down, he doesn't do enough

Please tell me this rumour is not a wind up

JET is only worth 500k plus sell ons in thi smarket may be the deal good get 800K plus sell ons

JET has his dreadful days, but still has class. He can take a ball past anyone without seemingly doing anything, and nobody knows what he has done, I don't even think he does. He is definately worth at least 1million. (ITFC fan)

Not enough commitment.

Jet does not show enough commitment at Ipswich,we should get rid Now with Jewell.

Hammil been playing well apart from been injured so why send him back

Its nearly the weekend again Saturday is coming ......All together now JEWELL OUT JEWELL OUT jEWELL OUT

Hammill was sent back because of a drunken incident in liverpool where he was arrested and accused of assaulting two female paramedics, rob b

Hammill has NOT been sent back. He played in a development game last week and only didn't play at the weekend becuase the game was against Wolves, his parent company!

I was talking to one of Hammills relative's in the stripes bar after saturdays 2-1 win over Wolves! He said the paramedic incident was all blown out of proportion and Adam was 100% committed to hudds, where he wanted to stay and sign a perminent contract after his loan period!

Burnley keen to keep Austin.

Burnley are keen to keep hold of star striker Charlie Austin amid interest from several Premier League clubs.

DeLaRusso {Ed003's Note - and Celtic}

Cnt see austin going celtic. that would be a backwards step, what do u think ed.... {Ed003's Note - they have scouts at Turf Moor on Saturday mate}

If you was a footballer would you wanna go play in scotland i no i woudnt no way

Backwards step to one of the biggest clubs in the world get a grip of yourself

A step backwards going to Celtic - get a grip - a club 100 times the size of Burnley

Backwards step playin champs league? get a grip ya fud

One of the biggest clubs in the world, in one of the worst divisions in the world, Scottish footballs a joke

What a great result for barca. celtic just not good enough. austin will not be going there.....

David Platt to join Burnley for the vacant managers position, Platt is reported to want to leave Man City for a full managerial role

God help them. they'd be better off with the one off Corontation Street

My thoughts exactly! God help them!

David Platt is the type of person the board wants

What type might that be? He's certainly the biggest. most useless Platt we've ever had at Forest (and that's saying something). He set us back 10 years at least.

Norwich City have made a full enquiry about Gent striker Ilombe Mboyo and availability of the player in the January transfer window

Is C. H. a good judge of a footballer ? good players out on loan Then brings in Turner ! I rest my case.

Rumour has it that Cameron Jerome is a target. Given the conservative mindset of the board and Hughton himself I'd say this one has legs. Jerome is 26, has gas, prem experience and offers City a different dimension striker wise as a run through type of striker who can play off the last defender.

C.H is the person who took toite and ben aftha to the toon so yer i think hes

And yet Turner had a stunner last saturday?
and Tettey is a player that was unknown to many, many had never heard of him. he has played 3 games in a norwich shirt and in 2 of them he has been class. Chelsea away being the exception.

Jerome off to Blackburn on loan. Could mean we are holding out for a better quality option.

Yes fair play to Turner. First three games he plays like a new born giraffe on roller skates. Then he he sorts himself out and plays like superman. I'd love to know what the manager said to him.

Swindon Town - PDC has been given permission to speak to an unamed Championship side, the board have just replaced the chairman as they are looking for a middle eastern consortium to invest in the hotel and conference facilities and ground re build. they now favour a brand new ground out of town at the juntion 16 M4, along the same lines as the madjeski. The investment is not to buy the club but to invest in facilities and build the ground and houses on the land the board will purchase.

Correct about the change of Chairman, the rest is guess work as all Swindon fans are waiting for news from the club. If it was just investment the Wray could have taken care if it with Sir William in a role to smooth the way. Sir William is now in a position to see through a sale to Middle eastern investors, very possibly Saudi.

Yes we have changed Chairman, but where do you get the rest of that rubbish, all Swindon fans know that the latest plans for the club are based on the County Ground, certainly no one from the club as said any different, stop letting you imagination run wild.

Everyone knows di canio wants the west ham job and with sams contract up this year. He is in the running

Yes, PDC obviously wants the WHU job, but he isn't ready for it. He still needs alot to learn and learn his trade here at Swindon, e.g man management, signing the right people (for the duration of his project)

Paulo wouldn't see Burnley as a massive step forward tbh. He's a loyal man, he'll go at the end of the season if we don't get promoted.

Charlie Austin did

PDC might like to be boss of WHU,but will they want him,im a die hard swindon fan,and i dont think they could cope wth his ideas,or training schedules.

Bournemouth. Brett Pitman in very soon. Loan with view to permanent in January. Out of contract at the end of the season. Lots, I mean lots out.

This could happen, now EH is back.. Pitman would play under him, and he's guaranteed to get first team every game.

The cherries will also re-sign Marvelous Marvin Bartley.

EDDIE HOWE alaways got the best out of Pitman and it hurt all of us when he left

I think this is 100% pitman was at the game on saturday against leyton orient

I was told twice ,by two unconnected people , that he was spotted at Dean Court. 13/10/12

^ So was Marvs

He was at the game Saturday,Seen speaking to EH.fink tubbsey should b given a chance,he's a goal getter but dont get played!typical bmth really!utc

They were down (among lots more others) for Adam Lallana's baby's head wetting so decided to take the game in while down. Don't get to excited

Pitman would be great but it depends on what he is valued at. Last time AFCB showed interest in him , Bristol wanted £800,000 which is silly money and I cant see Howe agreeing to that

How is 800k silly money for a champ striker who got 15goals in one season and most coming from bench also that's what we sold him for

Would rather spend 800k on him then silly money what we paid tubbs pitman would get 20plus in league one with tubbs might get 10

Reports in Canada, that Iain Hume, while
on his latest trip to Canada, has held talks
with Vancouver Whitecaps and another
unamed club,believed to be Toronto.

This could well be correct as Iain Hume has ,in the past, always expressed a desire to play league football in Canada.

He is on loan and would need prestons permisson to talk to any other club ,he wud be better off goin back to canada as he will never play for preston after all the trouble he as caused ,he will leave for 50/100k

Thought he had been told to " find" another club, so how would he do that
without "talking" to them.He has not trained wih Pne 1st team this season, even before he went to Donny on loan.

Michael Appleton is due to have an interview with the Burnley board today and will be followed up by Owen Coyle and Keith Hill also Mickey Mellon. Burnley will review these candidates. One of these names will definitely be the next manager if Burnley.

Burnley have ruled out Keith Hill(so he'll probably be the next manager)

The board have already stated that coyles returne is very unlikley as left a 'bitter taste in the mouth' when he left and i agree we dont need judus

I only hope Owen Coyle doesn't become manager again and it's not because of how he left us. I thought he was overated - no defence, no tactics, no plan B - just like at Bolton. We were lucky to get promoted really and on the downhill run in the Prem long before he left. Mickey Melon for me - someone with Burnley roots.

After speaking to a mate who works at the AMEX, he revealed that Brighton are close to a double swoop of Lucas Piazon and Danny Wilson from Chelsea and Liverpool respectively, on short term loan deals, with the possibility of making them until the end of the season.
