Latest from inside bloomfield road..frees and loans being lined for WHEN blackpool make the play offs

firstly once danny wilson has signed for liverpool he'll join on 6 month loan to get top flight experience. Kasper Schmeichel and Kris Boyd both been approached about joining on frees aswell as Martin Petrov and Belletti if they lowers his wage demands. Ollie to use his close friendship with sir alex to get Macheda and Fabio on season long loans, if Macheda deal fails he will go for Ngog on loan and Scott Dobie to sign permanently

Regarding Arsenal FC:

Cesc Fabregas rumours are just typical from the Spanish Media. It has been lost in translation. Even if he were to leave, Wenger would negotiate to try and get A £55M+ offer as he means so much to Arsenal. That would really test how much Barcelona want him.

Also, I don't think Gary Cahill will sign for £15M. Surely Wenger would prefer Per Mertesacker (a giant) or even Giorgio Chiellini (Van Persie does not hate him). Phil Jones won't come in this season, Wenger has already said that. If Gallas and Silvestre leave, expect Yaya Toure to come in. Should We get many injuries, Song would go to CB, Yaya would fill Song's position. Otherwise he would play alongside Fabregas.

Marouane Chamakh is joining us, so don't expect any other strikers to come in.

Eden Hazard may sign a pre–deal. Arshavin will this or next summer. Hazard will come in when he leaves, if he doesn't, will sign anyway. If there are loads of injuries, he could be joining in January.

The GK Starting next season as no. 1 will be an experienced one like Frey, (not that expensive) or Doni (quite unlikely but Wenger may try.) Buffon is too expensive.

This is to the 2 people who said Rickie Lambert is going to Bristol City, this is not true so stop making up rumours.

Rickie recently said at a Charity match "Chelsea oldboys vs Southampton oldboys" at Eastleigh's ground, that he is staying for next season and helping the Saints get promotion to the Championship.

So Rickie Lambert is staying at St. Mary's.

Ben Foster to sign for Birmingham 5 Million
David Villa to sign for Barcelona 25 Million ( not as much money as everyone expects but he isn't so young anymore and valencia want to cash in to help pay off debt) barca want 2 high profile signings before the start of the world cup and club presidential elections.
The other signing will be one of Arshavin Ribery or Fabregas.
My thoughts are that it will be Arshavin as he won't be going to the world cup , so will be able to negotiate throughout the world cup.
Fabregas will follow suit after the world cup.

Oscar Cardozo will sign for Liverpool 14 Million
Zlatan Ibrahimovic will sign for Manchester City 15Million+Robinho?? or 27 million straight
Benzema loan to Man City
Adebayor Loan to Real Madrid
Ever Banega to Liverpool 8 Million
Juan Mata to Liverpool 13 Mil + Riera
Gonzalo Higuain to Liverpool 10 million + Babel
Diego Forlan 18 Million to Spurs
Yohann Gorcuff To Arsenal 23 Million
Bacary Sagna to Inter 11 Million
Maicon to Real Madrid 18 Million
Nadir Belhadj to Real Madrid 6 Million
Martin Skrtel Lyon 12 Million
Ryan Shawcross to Liverpool 12 Million
Jack Rodwell Man Utd 15 Million
Mikel Arteta 13 Million Arsenal or Man United

SUFC rumours
Blackwell is to leave the club! You heard it herr first. Mark Robins as been ligned up to take over. He was at the ground today this is fact. He will be bringing Howard back up north and ian hume will come in to fill trhe problem striking job but only once Chris morgan has been sold to leeds. This is also a done deal.
Monty to leave along with Gearry who has agreed to join Barnsley as part of the Robins deal.
Evans is going to leeds also .
Also comming in is Beckford who has turned down Everton as he feels he would be a bit part player there and will be part of the Evans deal.
Blades have also bid for Bechio but apparently have been told he is going to Celtic with Snodgrass.
Sheff weds Tudgay has turned down a cross city move as he dusnt want to anger their fans and robins wants him as a winger not out and out striker.

Rickie (Rickie Lambert) has been contacted by 3 premiership teams and is seriously considering the contracts offered to him by 2 of the 3 clubs, both of them are mid table teams.

'Rumours on here are to be expected, idiocy is optional. To the guy who said Utd rarely spend over the odds on a player, please tell me that (like the beginning of your post) was a poor attempt at humour? Veron £30m Berbatov £32m Hargreaves £20m, Carrick £24m, Anderson £18m, Nani £18m (starting to show form but still, a lot of £). I doubt even Nani will recoup more than £18m, Anderson certainly wouldn't, Hargreaves gets injured sitting on the bench, Veron was the costliest flop ever and Berbatov, need I say more?'

The second clause in that was correct. Idiocy is optional. And it's clear you like taking options. Veron was £28m. Berbatov was £30m. Hargreaves was £17m. Carrick was £14m (possibly rising to £18m). Nani was £15m. Anderson's price was the only one you got right. But believe it or not, we've won the league 3/4 years Carrick's been with us (just this year he's been awful), we won the Champions League the season that Anderson/Nani/Hargreaves joined us, and Veron didn't do too badly the second season after which we still recouped £15m from Chelsea. Only Berbatov has failed to take off.. so I agree that the fee there was ridiculously inflated and poorly negotiated by United. Get your facts right. Oh, and remind me how many trophies the manager who has splashed £229 million, with a net loss of £122m, has brought to Anfield in the last few seasons. Jog on.

Anyhow, now it's clear Ben Foster is on his way, Ferguson will not sign another keeper this summer, but will wait until next summer when Van der Sar retires. However, he is looking at David Silva of Valencia as a potential replacement for the outgoing Michael Carrick (most likely to Tottenham or Everton) and may attempt to steal Joe Cole from under the noses of Tottenham if this falls through. As for defenders, Ferguson feels the squad is fine and Vidic will not be leaving. Striking wise, if the club receive a decent enough offer for Berbatov he will be on his way (anything above £15m), which may be to Italy. Ferguson will look to Macheda and Hernandez to step up, but don't be surprised if he launches a move for Vucinic of Roma or Higuain of Real Madrid.

14 May 2010 21:07:58
I hear that within days Roy Hodgson will be announced as new Celtic manager.
He has realised he has taken Fulham as far as they can go, and wishes to go to a club with a fine European pedigree, a budget to match his ambitions and a rival that needs to be put in its place.
Lets face it Rangers attract Walter"anti–football" Smith, and Celtic attract a calibre of manager that the forces of darkness cannot even contemplate at this instant.
To the inbred, who suggested that Celtic are not good enough to challenge in the "english" premiership, go back to procreation with your sister and leave the adult talk to the grown ups.

Wenger said that he won't sign a midfielder, so no Hazard, Yaya (we have Song), or VDV, or..the list keeps growing. Wenger will sign 2–3 players:
1–Chamach (ST)
2–Unknown defender
3–If we're lucky and AW is in the mood, a GK (unfortunately it will be Sorensen from Stoke).

The Invincibles part 2 coming soon!!

Am a London cabbie, picked this fella up earlier today at London City Airport, wanting to go to the Dorchester Hotel. He spent most of the time on the blower but coming towards the end of the journey, he commented on my Arsenal air freshner that was flapping around.
His exact words were, "Ahh you are a follower of Arsenal Football team, they are a good side" we had a little chat about football in general and basically I expressed my feelings on what was wrong with the Arsenal team.
When paying me, with his card, he then said, hopefully your dreams will come true and you will get players that you wish for.
It turns out he is the agent for Buffon and have checked, he also represents Edin Dzeko.
He is in London on business, so maybe, just maybe Arsenal may be getting a world class keeper???

Hello, Man City rumours .

– Jerome Boateng deal is 90 per cent done for around £12m. –

I know Roberto Mancini actually wants to stay at City for a while, and for that while he wants to build his own squad, but obviously keeping the likes of Tevez, Kompany, De Jong, Johnson etc.

I know he will bring in 4 + players in the summer, but that's just for the starting line ups , he is looking at young potential players for the bench, aswell as a few golden oldies!

RUMOURS:
Yoann Gourcuff – £27m
Maicon – £30m
Gareth Bale – £17m
Jermain Defoe (unlikely) – £20m
Fernando Gago – £11m
Gonzalo Higuain – £15m + Kolo Toure/Adebayor
Diego Forlan – £20m
Sergio Aguero – £25m
Steven Gerrard – £50m
Fernando Torres – £60m
Angel Di Maria – £23m
Cristian Ansaldi – £7m

Tottenham to offer £55m and Modric for Wayne Rooney,
£45m and Bale for Cesc Fabregas
!!Breaking news!!

Absolutely true people believe me my Nan's, Dad's, Auntie told her during a séance!!

Anyway there are many names being banded around for Spurs at the moment, and from the look of the names who may be leaving we will definitely need at least one striker (if Gudjohnson stays) if not two, there will also be 2 midfielders, and at least one defender (Bale so much better in midfield rather than defence) and a back up keeper.
That's right people at least five players of good quality with Sales and the £40mill war chest Harry has been given – Other than the names below and possibly Bentley I can't see anyone else leaving unless teams want to pay through the teeth for them.

Ian Harte is returning to Leeds.

Also Alan Smith and Robbie Keane, in a sensational return for the trio.

Simon Grayson is keen to create a special buzz around Leeds, and give the long suffering fans something to get excited about.

I wonder if Paul Robinson would make it a quartet ! ? (pure speculation on my part!)

BTW If enough people buy Marching On Together on itunes on sunday, Leeds United could very well have the number one single in the charts next week !

14 May 2010 20:00:04
To the guy who said spurs would be willing to swap Modric to get Joe Cole: Cole is available on a bosman so Spurs would not even have to speak to Chelsea to get him signed up.

Man Utd had 2 scouts at the Europa League final to check on goalkeeper De Gea and possibly Aguero. De Gea would come relatively cheap and would be willing to learn from his idol for a year, thus he would not want the guarantee of a starting spot immediately. Utd will also sign one of Dzeko, Benzema, Higuain and should announce the signing of David Silva in a couple of weeks

Will '–JAMES 007–' please stop replying to his own rumours, pretending to be someone else? It is starting to get on my nerves! Thank you.

Benayoun isn't worth £12 million no, but it is reported that he may be sold out right for £10 million or used in a swap with Pav from Spurs. Don't see it myself, but as a Liverpool fan i wouldn't complain.

Ever Banega is, i think, nearly a done deal. As is Danny Wilson. These are ONLY rumours, but i have heard that Anelka could be playing for Sunderland next season and Adebayor could be at United. Again, i don't see them happening, but you never know!

14 May 2010 19:25:48

To the guy who said:

Went to a talk in through week with a member of NUFC coaching staff and he openly admitted the following:

NUFC IN:

Vela (Loan)
Fran Medria (Free)
Wilshire (Loan)

i can assure you that you are wrong. firstly merida either wants to stay or go to atletico. he will probably head that but for him to stay wenger will have to promise him game time, meaning there is no chance he will be loaned. wilshere is also likely to stay at least until january if not for the whole season. if he does get loaned out it will be back to bolton. as for vela i can see him being loaned out with the arrival of chamakh and possibly another forward. however this is only 50% chance he will be loaned out and if he is it will be to spain or to bolton or as part of a player exchange. funnily enough arsenal don't want any of newcastles players therefore the p/e will not happen and this means the loan will not happen. i can assure you you will not be recieving any of these players.

Arsenal transfer news:

In the past few days, Arsene Wenger has been reflecting on the season. He quite rightly highlighted that Arsenal's strength this season has been going forward. Therefore, he has said he will maintain the attacking ability of the team over the summer and add one player. The word maintain is key in the last sentence – FABREGAS WILL NOT BE SOLD! NO CHANCE! Then, he moved on to the defensive difficulties that Arsenal have experienced this season and explained that it must be improved if his side are to fight for the title next season. Therefore, expect 2 defensive players to be signed! Another problem Arsenal have is the goalkeeping posiiton. Despite this, Wenger is undecided about buying a new goalkeeper due to his endless faith in Flappyhandski!

Expected transfers:

IN: Cahill (£12.5m, Bolton), Melo (£8m, Juventus) and Chamakh (Free, Bordeaux).

OUT: Gallas (Free, Roma), Senderos (Free), Silvestre (Free), Traore (£3m), Eduardo (£7m, Lyon).

Possible transfers – (Dependent on sales and Wengers stubborness):

IN: Buffon (£ 8m + P/E), Sakho (£10m, PSG), Van der Wiel (£8m, Ajax), Hazard (£12m, Lille), SWP(£5.5m, Man City),

OUT: Almunia (£3m), Sagna (P/E, Juventus)

No I am not bull$!ing. You are right about it not going to the media. But you must realise that there are many parties involved (Kop Holdings, BarCap, plus prospective buyers as well as legal advisers etc.). This means that there are a number of people with access to LFC info. Even though employees are bound by confidentiality agreements, news does sometimes leak. This is a rumours site, so there is no way that there would be any comeback to any source/employee. If it leaked in the media then that would be a different story. I would never post on this site to give people false hope. So far this development is very promising. Will keep posted.

Sheffield Wednesday:

The Owls don't have a big pot of money without sales however after releasing six high earners they have a decent sized budget for wages by League One standards. Jeffers by himself was reputedly on 7–10K per week which is three decent L1 players wages or a very attractive weekly wage for a decent striker willing to take a chance on the Owls bouncing back at the first attempt.

Sheff Wed outs:

Tommy Spurr a possibility as saleable, however not for the £600,000 suggested by Soton fans as he is on a long contract and would command a minimum of £1.25–£1–5M as a young player with lots of championship experience and potential.

Mark Beevers again a possibility with rumoured interest last season from Newcastle. Lots of potential as with Spurr. If he goes expect £1.5–2M.

Lee Grant is the most prized asset at Hillsborough but we cannot afford to turn down big money. Expect Burnley to offer £1.5M but it will be knocked back. Unlikely to go for less than £2.5–3M. Best keeper in the championship last term and deserves to play in a better team.

Darren Purse a possibility to Leeds for £500K just to get his wages off our books.

Marcus Tudgay may yet attract another bid from Burnley but expect it to be less than they offered last close season. Around £1.25 should secure his services.

Ins:
Nicky Weaver released by Burnley on a free if Grant is sold.

Eddie Nolan and various others from PNE.

Perm any 3 strikers from an ever growing list of wanted men.

This is just persoanl opinion but why is everybody linking liverpool with a load of foreign players. Liverppol have 2 possibly 3 decent brittish players this needs mproving for the 6 + 5 rule. shelvey and wilson have already signed 5.5m each i thnk that will be it for younger players however if first team players leave expect mainly english players.

i think these outs will occur

skrtl = 8 million replacement = upson 7 million or steven taylor 7 million

if benayoun leaves it will be for cash and not pav around 12mil and joe cole will rpelace him on a free transfer

and i could see a possible return for stephen warnock ? 8.5 mil

the rest of the transfers will be foreign

jovanovic (spelling ) free tranfer already agreed

lucas will leave for 10 million back to brazil and his relacement will be banega 8.5 million

and finnaly liverpool will swap babel for arda turan plus 4 million

so round up
outs skrtl 8 millon, benayoun 12million, lucas 10million, and finnaly babel P/E total = 30

ins – upson or taylor 7 mil , joe cole free, warnock 8.5million, banega 8 million and arda turan 4 mill, total 27.5 million

when looking at this all the americans have spent is on shelvey and wilson. they have made money back of the player sales, the liverpool squad looks a lot stronger and there are a total of 5 english players added 3 senior 2 back up

Gerrard will only move to madrid or city due to his transfer value and wage demands. £45m to madrid the most likely freeing up spending power for l'pool. Torres will sign for Barca if Ibrahimovic moves on possibly to man city with l'pool signing eden hazard, ever banega, and darren bent.

Chelsea will sign aguero £27m,

Arsenal will sign Ireland, wright–phillips, and yaya toure but only if cesc goes the other way. £35m +
toure.

Man utd will sign David Silva and james milner for £24m and £18m respectively with Carrick going to Villa or Spurs

Man city move for ibrahimovic £48m, bellamy off to spurs £11m, ireland to arsenal £13m, SWP to arsenal £8m,

Spurs move for carrick £7m, maybe allowing modric to move in a swap deal to chelsea involving joe cole,

Why is it every time Millwall are mentioned on hera other than my self crap comes out. Barry Fuller? Are you having a laugh mate we don't need him we have players in his position miles better. While we are in the play–offs we won't be signing anyone but we have watched
Ritchie Jones Free
Kevin Lisbie – Wont sign
And we want to keep Liam Trotter but Ipswich have also offered him a contract (Has said he would like to to stay as he is part of the millwall family)

14 May 2010 17:11:54
I'd like to remind the Doncaster fan that said they are signing Wes and Leon Best of something. You are a small team, VERY SMALL, can't even get double figures in your "amazing new stadium". You are a nothing club. You won't sign anyone of high calibre.

Norwich have today signed Leon Best.
Frazer Forster has comfirmed he is coming back on loan.
Norwich havn't signed Casper Schmeichel as he's going to Aston Villa instead
Norwich are trying for Lita aswell.

–JAMES 007–"
To: –JAMES007–, is this imminent or is there due diligence to be carried out? Might tie in with something.

Barclays Capital (BarCap) started due diligence (which can take between 1–3 months) just before Broughton was appointed. The problem the yanks were having was due diligence being carried out by each prospective buyer which was very time consuming. No repeated due diligence to be carried out for any of BarCap's clients. The club will be sold to one of BarCap's clients. I have been told that Qatar Investment Authority is a BarCap client (worth around $65 billion). Looks very promising. –JAMES 007–

There is no chance that hibs will sell stokes, riordan and bamba to celtic for just 3 million as we have a certain rod petrie as our chairman and they are our best players so there is no chance of that happening.

Bamba will be away to fulham after the world cup for 3 million. Riordan may depart now for around 1.5 million to anyone south of the border but he won't go to another scottish club, especially not celtic after the way they treated him last time.

Incoming to the hibees will be Garry O'connor, Richard Keogh and Michael Hart all of which on free transfers.

14 May 2010 16:35:17
Doncaster Rovers to sign Wes Hoolahan, Leon Best and Elliott Ward. They will also make an offer to Lewis Price wether Neil Sullivan accepts his contract offer or not. Tom Kennedy will sign shortly on a 3 year deal to replace Gareth Roberts and Mark Wilson, John Oster and James Hayter will all sign 1 year contracts.

Doncaster will also look into season long loans for Liam Lawrence, Jay Emmanual Thomas, Jordan Mutch and Chris Brown.

Change of approach at Anfield
Youth players being lined up to follow Shelvey are Wilson, Moses and McCarthy. Costing around £15m, which I heard was the transer budget this year.
Sales of players in order to rebuild the squad this summer are likely to see the exits of Gerrard £36m, Benayoun £10m, Riera £8m, Babel £8m, Lucas £10m and Kuyt £8m totalling £80m.
Plans to rebuild include a possible raid on Valencia, already in the news is Benega £8–10m, Mata £16–18m, then Joe Cole (on free but £115K/week) Arda Turan £15m which leaves a nice fund for a world class forward to back up Torres! Could be David Silva!
By the way regarding the debt, my understanding is that the yanks borrowed against the clubs assets to buy the club, so my thinking is that when they sell up, quite a chunk of that debt will be gone as they will have to repy that borrowing
YNWA yanks not wanted at anfield!

Liverpool or Everton News!!

Seen a certain Ronaldinho at Liverpool's John Lennon Airport this afternoon. Surely can't be anything to do with Everton so got me thinking maybe Liverpool? Ronaldinho has not made to Brazil squad to go to South Africa, he may put this down to playing in the Seria A?? And also there has been speculation of Babel going to Milan recently!! Could this be a swap + cash deal? Watch this space..

Or i could keep dreaming and he might be on his way to Prenton Park, C'mon Rovers!

14 May 2010 16:06:08
News just in regarding Zlatan Ibrahimovich. I have posted on here in the past and stated that Ibtrahimovich may be signing for Arsenal. Well what I am sure of is that he will be playing for an English side next season. He will be playing for either City, Chelsea or Arsenal. However I am sure that Arsenal are favourites becuase they have a certian Mr. Fabregas. If Cesc chooses to go to Barca then Ibrahimovich will be coming the other way. Remember Barca offered something like £30M plus Eto to land Ibrahimovich so imagine what they'll do for Fabregas. I expect a deal like Ibrahimovich plus £10M If not more. Wenger will then sign either Hamsik or Javi Martinez as Fabregas' replacement, Barca will also sign Villa from Valencia.

Actual Premiership rumours (remember RUMOURS, nothing concrete except a few):
ARSENAL
Firstly players being linked with a move away from the club, and I can see going through are; Giles Sunu (Bordeaux – 200k comp.), Jay Simpson (Celtic – £2m), William Gallas (Roma – Free). Ins are said to be Marouane Chamakh (Free), Loic Remy (£14m), Diego Lopez (£5m), Pape Diakhate (£10m).
ASTON VILLA
Steve Sidwell to leave for Fulham (£2m), for now though, that's it for sales. Ins are more popular, with likely transfers being Nathaniel Clyne (£1m), Roberto Canella (£6m), Karl Henry (£5m) and Hugo Rodallega (£12m).
BIRMINGHAM CITY
Another season to start and much more speculation. All that has been heard is signings, with McLeish wanting to improve the squad he has. Likely signings are Mauro Boselli (£8m), Tom Bradshaw (500k), Ben Foster (£6m), Paul Konchesky (£5m) and Katlego Mphela (£5m).
BLACKBURN ROVERS
Strangely very little talk of sales, although the departure of Morten Gamst Pedersen seems inevitable, with Spain his likely destination. These too have been linked with Canella and Boselli, but likely signings appear to be Federic Piquionne (£4m), Magne Hoseth (450k) and Wendel (£6.5m). The question is just finding the money.
BOLTON WANDERERS
With Owen Coyle's men playing a nice style of football now, players in are a different breed. Jack Wilshere will re–sign for another season loan, while Ivan Klasnic is enjoying life and will join permanently. Other signings will see Nadir Belhadj (£4m), Chris Eagles (£4m) and Steven Fletcher (£5m) are likely to join. Danny sttu will leave for £3m, Turkey the most likely move.
BURNLEY
The first of the relegated breed. The sales are stated as above, with just Marcus Tudgay being considered. He'll re–join former boss Brian Laws in a £1.5m deal.
CHELSEA
Everybody's expecting big money to be spent this summer, but in truth about 2 players will join. Expect to see Deco go back to Brazil and Ballack join Schalke. In's are likely to be Sergio Aguero for £27m and Angel Di Maria for £30m.
EVERTON
Moyes' men are now some way behind the top 7 in terms of quality, with about 10 players with the ability to still compete there. Another side with no rumours yet in sales, but ins look like Jermaine Beckford (£5m), Peniel Mlapa (£3m), Alexandar Ignjovski (£3m) and Nedum Onuhoa (£4m).
FULHAM
With more players rumoured to leave than sign, likely outs are Konchesky (£5m – Birmingham), Kamara (£2.5m – Celtic) and Teymourian (?). Ins are likely to be Craig Dawson (£1m), Adam Lallana (£2m), Marc Wilson (£4m) and Semih Senturk (Free).
HULL CITY
Another relegated side who have given nothing away on signings, but sales are likely to be Stephen Hunt (£3m), Jimmy Bullard (£5m) and Kamil Zayatte (£2m)
MORE TO COME..

14 May 2010 15:51:32

I live on mars and the rumour being spread round here is that arsenal and chelsea are gonna buy every big name in the world, man utd are gonna buy 3 world world class players for the same position, and my uncle r2d2 heard from his dogs sisters boyfriend that liverpool are being taken over by every middle eastern country. plus i went on a space walk and saw david silva and david villa in a rocket and they told me they were going to shine fergies shoes as part of the deal taking them both to united.

lets be realistic guys. utd never spend above odds for a player and very rarely sign more than 1 big player, wenger rarely signs 1 proven world class player and chelsea are good enough without buying 5 world class players.

one rumour i have for liverpool is that we will not be spending money in this window like my fellow fans are saying and the takeover is no where near complete. expect 1 signing 10 mill plus likely to be a winger, the rest will come as a swap or frees. lets hope the spirit and flair of lfc returns next season to carry us back to the top 4 because we can not afford to sign the players that the top 6 teams can so we will need it.

ynwa

who ever said this you clearly have a vivid imagination but correct me if im wrong but didn't united pay over the odds for Berbatov, did they not pay over the odds for Ferdinand and did they also spend a shed load on Rooney, and then another £16 mil for Valencia from wigan, £12.5 milion for ronaldo a player at the time that no one heard of? hmm i think so

any ways real rumors

Berbatov is to be kept for one more season
one of either Hamsik/Young/Milner/Silva
and then maybe and a big maybe a defender.

Glaziers are prepared to folk out a bit of money to get one of the above players to show they still have intrest in United and to turn some of the Green and Gold brigade

Scott Parker to go to either Man Utd or Arsenal, both clubs after a solid midfielder who can be creative and also very aware of the homegrown squad regulations.

Milner will stay at Villa, much as I would like to see him at OT I think O'Neil has probably made it a condition of him staying that Milner goes nowhere.

Benzema won't happen (would've been nice though), Berbatov has retired from international football to concentrate on Utd. This is because, after looking for buyers, utd found out he was valued even less than they thought and can't justify the sale.

David Silva or Di Maria look most likely for the additional creative force for United so I would say it will just be one of those two plus Parker.

City will bid for everyone Torres, Benzema, Milner, Kaka (again), etc. but end up hugely embarrassed again as in the Kaka saga last season. No champions league football means none of these players will go to Eastlands. Expect to see maybe Balotelli on loan, maybe another couple of Inter players through Mancini's link (Cambiasso/Cordoba/Quaresma possibly). SWP will move to Arsenal for £8m.

Liverpool will hang onto Torres by the skin of their teeth, not so lucky with Gerrard though – he will sign for real madrid after the World Cup. New owners will be in place for the start of the season but too late for any serious transfer activity – expect a huge spend from them in January though.

Aguero will go to Chelsea (possibly with Anelka going the other way as a make weight) for around £40m, they will also sign another midfielder to take over from Lampard. Joe Cole will probably sign for Spurs on a free and £100k per week.

Gallas will leave Arsenal as will Senderos, Merida, Silvestre, Traore and Mannone. They will bring in Diakate (sp) and Sakho, SWP, Parker (if not to OT) and a keeper (I have no idea who it will be – nobody does, this is Wenger we are talking about – maybe Landreau a surprise contender?)

Spurs will strengthen with Joe Cole, not sure who else is in the loop with them at the moment – I don't think they'll get Bellamy.

Norwich City news, out:

Jamie Cureton will be released, and may consider retirement if he is unable to secure a contract at a Football League Club. If York City are promoted, then JC is a primary target for them.

Cody McDonald will be loaned out, with Gillingham leading the way. Having previously been at Dartford, and being down the Carrow Road pecking order, a loan (until Christmas) to the Gills seems preferable.

Rhoys Wiggins will not be leaving Norwich permanently. However, he will re–join Bournemouth for a further season on loan.

Owain Tudor–Jones will make the switch to Yeovil for a fee of around £250k.

Paul McVeigh will be released unless the Canaries are able to make their intended signings on the wing, in which case his contract will be extended until January.

Similarly, Darel Russel WILL be offered a new contract, but could seek a move to Burnley – who he almost joined last season.
––––––––––––––––––

IN: If Swindon lose out in the play–offs, expect Norwich to try and lure Billy Paynter on a free transfer.

Richard Brodie (York) is another attacking target, although this move depends on the outcome of York's play–off final against Oxford.

Nick Montgomery to join on a free transfer from Sheffield United.

Fraser Forster back on loan for another season.

Liam Fontaine to join on a free transfer from Bristol City.

Norwich will also use the loan system to bring two wide midfielders to the club on temporary deals.

one rumour i have for liverpool is that we will not be spending money in this window like my fellow fans are saying and the takeover is no where near complete. expect 1 signing 10 mill plus likely to be a winger, the rest will come as a swap or frees. lets hope the spirit and flair of lfc returns next season to carry us back to the top 4 because we can not afford to sign the players that the top 6 teams can so we will need it.

Wenger values Fabregas at about £60m. if he were to be sold, wenger would demand Yaya Toure in part exchange. if Toure is said to be worth about £16m, that would mean a deal for Fabregas for £44m+Toure.
hence a £44m profit, allowing the best replacement for Cesc in the form of Gourcuff to be signed for £20m, with £24m remaining. a top class CB will sign for about £15m, still leaving £9m, which will come in handy paying wages. profit made, and we'll have a better squad than before with the likes of silvestre senderos and traore gone. chamakh in for free. gallas' departure frees up 70,000 in wages, and fabregas' 90,000 a week too.

Players who are unfit to start for arsenal:
Fabianski, Traore, Silvestre, Denilson, Eduardo, Vela, Senderos.

Also United are looking to sell Foster for £4million to Birmingham, swap michael carrick for Modric plus £6million, and sell Berbatov, which they hope to make £15million for him.

Dzeko

Pav, Keane, Bentley and Jenas will all leave. Nevan Subotic will be signed as back up for King. Sandro is a done deal.

therefore in the past 5 years or so, Wenger has earned £96m for arsenal whilst spending only £71m. that's a profit of £25m as far as transfers are concerned.
this summer will buck that trend with wenger now certain he needs to add quality and experience to his ranks. Chamakh will arrive for free, but Toure and Mertesacker will arrive for £15m each, with £14m being made from departures. yet on a 5 year basis, Wenger will still have made a £9m profit, which is amazing consistency.
he will hence sign 2 players over £10m. the only players he has bought for over £10m in the past are: Wiltord(13), Henry(10.5), Hleb(12), Nasri(12), Arshavin(14), Reyes(10.5), Vermaelen(10).

do not expect any £20+ signings. he never has and never will spend so much on 1 player.

OUT: Eduardo(8), Traore(3), Simpson(3), Gallas(F), Silvestre(F), Senderos(F), Merida(F).
IN: Toure(15), Chamakh(F), Mertesacker(15).

Just catching up with the Rumours, I think school must have finished for the day now..there is some mince on here, although it always makes for interesting reading over a cuppa.
Responding to the guy who thinks O'Connor will sign for Hibs for £350k..I think his contract is finished now, so would move on a free. He's got a house just 10 mins from Hibs new training centre. Nish might go down south to Barnsley, but Riordan will have to check out the night clubs down there before he signs!
I still read about Arfield going to Soton for £1m, that'll be a disappointment for you all !!
And what about Driver going to Celtic for £2m..but Goodwillie only priced at £1m? Are these prices based on a computer game maybe?

Malkay Mackay has recently released statements that Watford will sign up to 3 to quality championship players to help the clubs bid against survivial. Watford's finanical issues are well documented, and these players will most probally be players that have been released. Lansbury will be returning on loan, and if both parties can come to an agreement then so will Helguson. Cleverley is on his way to Newcastle for a season long loan. Norwich city are looking to offload players as they alot are out of favour with Paul Lambert.

ARSENAL:
Fabregas will be told by Arsene Wenger over the weekend that all bids for him this summer will be outright rejected with the promise that if a serious offer comes in next summer from Barcelona then he will be allowed to talks to the Catalans.

Manuel Almunia himself has decided he has had enough of the critics in England and wish to move back to Spain; Osasuna are preparing a £3million offer.

This will open up a deal for Buffon to join the Gunners; with Juventus owing Arsenal a sum in the region of £6million for payments on the Vieira deal (and subsequent late payment interests) a deal could be struck for a further £6million, Armand Traore (value: £3million) and a season long loan deal for Eduardo Da Silva(value: £1million). All in all the deal reaches the value of £16 million; a figure Juventus are particularly happy with but are prepared to take.

The other likely deals are G Cahill an one of M Sahko or G Van Der Wiel.

IN:
Buffon (£6mil debt clear +£6mil payment + Traore + Eduardo LOAN)

Chamakh (£0.6mil signing on fee)

Van Der Wiel (£6.5mil)

G Cahill (£11mil)

OUT:
Almunia (£3mil)

Traore (EX)

Randall (£1.5mil)

Simpson (£2.5mil)

Eduardo (Loan)

Silvestre, Gallas, Senderos, Gilbert, Merida (FREE)

Net Spend of £17million.

Despite specluation Paul Lambert has stated that he is 100% comited to Norwich City Football Club.

Also there is further speclation that a unknown millionaire will be putting money into the club for transfers, which will give Paul Lambert the oppotunity to strengthen the squad in all areas for a tuff season in the Championship.

Furthermore Delia Smith has reported to have said that using the foundations on top of the City Stand there will be another tier built, if Norwich are successful next season through gaining promotion to the Premier League.

Hartlepool are waiting to see if Mark Robins leaves Barnsley, as is being reported, if that happens then they will make a move to appoint him as their next manager prior to the pre season tour of Holland. Colin West will leave the club as Robins wants to bring John Breckin and Steve Taylor with him. Chris Turner will move back upstairs.

Turner is happy with this as he knows Robins from their time together at Manchester United. He is also helping to iron out any difficulties with Robins making the move, as he wants to return back to his Director Of Sport position and relinquish the day to day running of the footballing side.

To those who think David Villa is coming to Man Utd he has turned down the offer in favour of barcelona. Man Utd were going to bid 45 million and break the british transfer record but he opted to stay in spain.

So stop the nonsense.

The rumours of David silva are true but he is a winger and with Nani and Valencia playing fairly well to have david Silva for 25 million and pay him over 100K would be downright mad. {editor's note – the last few Valencia matches I have seen, Silva has been playing in the centre.}

i have a brother who works in Qatar as an engineer and he got home lastnight and there is a lot of talk in Qatar of QIA making a bid for liverpool , their reps met with liverpool reps when they were negoiating the harrods deal , the rumour is they are looking to set up a wide range of business ventures in europe as we are slowly coming out of a recession. the middle east is notorious for not being able to keep secrets on business matters, so listen out something will happen soon . i believe this is the same crowd that were interested in everton a few years ago (could be wrong ).ngs77

A question rather than a rumour.

Mohammed Al Fayed sold Harrods for £1.5b a couple of weeks back. Is there any reason this wouldn't have an impact on Fulham!?

Mikee

Hi Mikee,

Yup for i also heard that he is looking at selling up his stakes in Fulham!

COMPLETELY FALSE, FULHAM WILL NOT BE SOLD, ALTHOUGH THE MAN IS A TIGHT AE SO DO NOT EXPECT MUCH MORE FUNDS THAN USUAL! ALTHOUGH IF HE IS COMPLETELY COMMITTED YOU WOULD THINK A NICE NEW STADIUM SHOULDN'T BE OUT OF THE QUESTION!

Liverpool.
Major clearout especially wingers.
Cavalieri 3–4 mill (back to brazil)
Degen 2 mill ( German and French clubs intested)
Darby loan (blackpool)
Skrtel 9 mill ( milan, Lyon and Arsenal all shown intrest)
Aurelio free (most likely Benifica or Flamingo)
Dirk Kuyt 15 mill + (Juve, Roma and Athletico shown intrest.offers above 15 mill will be considerd)
Plessis 2.5mill (offers to be considerd)
Spearing Loan (Pompey)
Lucas (only offers above 12 mill)
Riera 7–8 mill ( Intrest from Turkey Spain and Italy)
Benayoun 10 mill ( Spurs, Athletico and Roma head the line)
Babel 11 mill (Birmingham, Arsenal, Fiorentina, Valencia and many others)
N'gog loan (wolves)
El Zhar 4 mill (Turkey and France)

Spearing and Darby will be on their last loan spells. When they come back a final assesment will be made on weither or not they will make it at Liverpool. The rest are the most likely deals. now for the Ins

Wilson aprox 3mill (bid accepter almost done deal)
Kolorav 9mill ( enquirey made)
Taiwo 8mill (enquirey)(one of these 2 will happen)
Wjnaldum(spelling) 7 mill
Shevley 1.5 mill
Banega 8mill (offer on the table)
Turan 12mill (formal offer yet to be made but talks have taken place)
Jarvis 6mill (N'gog to go as part of deal)
Jovanovic (free) (cover for ST and LW)

Thats it..the squad next year will look like this.

Gk: Reina, Gulcasi, Bouzanis
RB: Johnson, Kelly, Carra/Masch
CB Carra, Agger, Kyriakos, Wilson, Ayala
LB Kolarov/Taiwo, Insua, Mavinga
DM Masch, Banega,
RM Maxi, Wjinaldum
AM Gerrard, Aqua, Shelvely
LM Turan, Jarvis
ST Torres, Jovanovic, Nemeth, Pacheco

No big names but good squad signings. If Gerrard does Leave Milner or Ireland are being looked at. And if Torres goes, Higuain, Aguero etc are being looked at. But both depatures are unlikely.

14 May 2010 12:25:11
All the LFC fans on here need to get their heads looked at. We are pissing money down the drain every day and don't look like a good investment for anyone at the moment. The yanks have bled us dry and we are in a very bad situation, so unless someone comes in with alot of money, I don't see us buying many big name players, i.e. mata, aguero et al.

Since the yanks took over we have spent more in interest and on the re–design of the ground than it would have originally cost to pay for the ground had we not sold out to them. Add the £15mil that the americans have added in interest to the £130 million that they put into the club (yes they gave the club £130 to help with bank loans, only to then add interest on top of that) we could have either bought ronaldo an messi lol or got a quality new ground without their "financial backing".

I expect alot of freebies this summer and some swaps, i.e. babel for arda, yossi for pav etc. however, i do not believe that these are what one would call an improvement. i can't believe that we are looking to sign a CM when we currently have 4 players for tha position, unless as mentioned on here one of lucas masch aqua or stevie are going.

14 May 2010 12:31:37
Would everyone stop stop stop going on with these absoloute rubbish rumours of David Villa going to Man U Arsenal or Liverpool! The only two teams who wud pay that kind of fee 40–45m for a 28yr old with no experience outside la liga are city and Chelski. With no resale value after a 4–5yr deal only a flop first season would recoup a fraction of that cash back to spain. Only realistic destinations are Barca (deal already done going by some reports) or Real. His pyhsical stature would also be a massive questionmark as he is tiny with little frame imagine him up against Shawcross, Richards, Vidic or Terry they would bat him off like a fly then prob get penilised with his good effort at a fall over.

Silva on the other hand wouldfit in well to most teams especially Utd. Again he is small in height and frame but in midfield its easier to get away with that (scholes, Deco, Fabregas) He has the age and work rate in his favour to adapt to the english game and would be half the price and prob 2/3rds the wage as Villa.

Utd transfers in:

De Gea or Neuer GK

Cheilini (If Vidic goes, hope not), Smalling, 1st option on Subotic, Vermijl, Dodo DEF

Silva or J.Cole, Hargreaves (like a new signing), Guti for 1 yr poss? Schweinstiger or Gourcuff MID

Hernandez and one other so many names have been banded about like Benzema, Dzeko, Sanchez and even Forlan but I wud like to see Suarez a south american similar to Tevez and could see him and Rooney working well together. If not Dzeko woll do haha.

First of all I hope this gets posted. Many roumers have been gathering on this site saying Arda Turan is on his way to Liverpool. This is compleatly incorrect he is on his way to spurs. If you are asking why I am so sure, it's because I'm Turkish and follow Turkish sport religiously and it is said that he will sign for a yearly wage of 2million pound. Also harry will be visiting turkey during turkeys friendly against USA and will finalise the deal out there. I'm a Liverpool fan and believe all the rubbish about him being a remarkable talent is aload of cat balls I watch him week in week out and he is to weak on the ball for the premier league. Liverpool roumers: besides the already done deals looks like Wilson and ever bangar (spelling)? Will be joining which could only mean the exit of ether Mach or Lucas I hope the later. Remember the sinistar!

I have it on good authority from a friend who works in the media in Spain that Manchester united will solve their striking issues by re–buying Guiseppe Rossi from Villareal using the 'buy back' clause that they placed in his contract. This is expected to cost around £7.5m.

Right, basically this is only of what i would like to happen at Arsenal Footy Club! Not going to happen bla bla bla its a rumours lads so don't have a go!

Wenger knows that there are obvious faults in the team one being the lack of depth! He needs a GK, 2CB DM & ST. For anyone this is going to cost alot of money to buy 4 players especially to Arsenals standard but he needs to do it im fed up of seein bendtner play up front and do jack fck. Anyway here is what i think should happen lads!

Sagna to Juventus in full exchange for Felipe Melo.
Mouhamadou Dabo at RB in on a free transfer from AS Saint–Etienne – French under 21 already achieved first cap for France against Argentina so this lads has to be better then lasagna.
Chamakh in on a free transfer from Bordeaux.
The 2 cbs are tricky i personally think Wenger should go for powerful tall centre halfs one from Christian Zapata from Udinese or Giorgio Chiellini and a young one i would say Phil Jones from Blackburn this kid is going to be the nuts mate future England captain.

Mr Herbert "George Graham Arsene Wenger" Chapman

Arsenal Transfer Thoughts:
– Gallas 75% gone in my opinion, I tip a move to PSG who have previously made approaches for 'The Old Bill'.
– Chamakh, ofcourse will be a gunner within the next two weeks, and, I would have thought will get Gallas' vacant number 10 shirt. (Or, perhaps Cesc would get the number 10 as he wears for Spain.. just a thought).
– Fabregas will not leave, the media see it as an easy story, particularly when comments constantly get lost in translation from the Spanish media. DO NOT BELIEVE THIS TRIPE FELLOW GOONERS!! They just love winding us up with their redundant, repetitious stories, have faith in Cesc!!
– Obviously, the defence needs re–enforcement, as Wenger has stated. My tips would be primarily central defenders as the full back positions are well covered. Thus, my tips (2 of):–
> Diakhate
> Sakho
> Hangeland
> Zapata
– If a full back was to come in, Van Der Wiel would be my tip.
– A goal keeper, I hope so, one of the German names that keeps cropping up would be nice: Adler, Neuer, etc. Perhaps Buffon, Hart, maybe even Foster. Who knows, I'm sure Wenger has thoughts beyond myself or any amateurish tabloid clutching at straws!!
– Yaya Toure, wonderful for the club & squad, although the potential effect on Song's development may prevent Wenger bidding too much for him. As well as this, the risk of City out bidding us is highly likely, the opportunity to play with his brother may seal the City move. But, the chance to play for the only English club who play pure football under one of the modern day greats of football management in the Champions League is a great attraction!!

West Ham United–––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

The big transfer story spreading through Upton Park is that the two David's are set to try and appease fans by purchasing Eduardo from Arsenal for £9 million. This would be a record transfer for United and Eduardo does not look to be getting much game time at the Emirates anymore, especially with the arrival of Chamakh. Sullivan and Gold are otherwise not looking at players until they can bring in a suitable manager.

In regards to the managerial status:
The board have contacted Slaven Bilic, Mark Hughes and Avram Grant. The purchase of Eduardo could encourage Bilic to take up the position as he has worked with the striker at international level. However, the David's are worried that they would be paying high wages to a manager with no premier league experience.
Mark Hughes has Premier league experience and can work really well with a budget, such as buying Santa Cruz for £3.5 million. However, he may not be interested in the position and may command very high wages considering the state of the club.
Avram Grant also has Premier League experience, and has worked with Clarke before so there would be no need to replace the backroom staff. However, the board are very worried that such a signing would not be enough for the West Ham fans.

Rangers team for next season

gk=Allan mcgregor, neil alexaander
def=david weir, madjid bougherra, scott brown, sasa papac, kirk broadffoot, steven whittaker

strikers=kris boyd , kenny miller, lafferty , david goodwillie, anthony stokes, aiden mcgeady , steven naismith
manager = walter smith
chairman=alistar johnson
owner=andrew ellis"

Stokes & McGeady at rangers, this if so far the worst wind up i've seen on this site. Given the backgound of both players and the reaction the rangers supporters would have to even think that they might have players from the ROI in their teamtry to make it sound real in future

rumours going around at the moments..

Lennon to get the managers job at Celtic, McCosit to take charge of rangers. Trappatoni to join celtic as director of football and smith to have a similar type role at ibrox due to both managers not having too much experiece.

David moyes was on STV news last night saying he would like to manage Celtic but not right now as he still has unfinished business in the EPL.

Players rumoured to be coming in
Keane – not likely
St. Ledger –£3M
Ramis –£3M
Hooper – £1.4M
Ireland – £3.5M
Bullard – £3M
Stokes – £3M
Goodwillie – £1.5M
Gomis – £1.5M
Bamba – £1.8M
Players rumoured to be on their way..
Sammi – £2M – some team in italy
Boruc– £2–3M – interest from teams in italy & germany, final year of his contract so will be sold.
mcmanus – North East Celtic, eh sorry middlesbourgh £2M
Hinkel – £2.2M – a few teams in Germany looking at him.
McGeady – £6–8M – most likely birmingham

Lee naylor will stay for another 2 seasons if lennon gets the job.

rangers have several first teamers out of contract who will leave, mainly boyd & novo.
Bougie & mcgregor will be sold for about £6M, wilson and maybe fleck off to liverpool for around £1.5M each.
pretty much every player in the spl will be up for sale this summer as most teams have no cash

It looks as though Banega will be signing for Liverpool in the summer, this means you can expect either Lucas or Masch to leave, but I'm pretty sure it'll be Lucas. If the Brazillian does leave Anfield It will be for either Benfica or Gremio.

Rafa Is interested in Arda Turan and I have it on good authority that he will use Nabil El Zhar as part of the deal.

To the person who wrote about Mourinio not coming to Liverpool and going to Chelsea, this is because his wife did not want to move to Liverpool at the time and it is a fact he is a childhood Liverpool fan, but he will 100% be moving to Real Madrid due to the unrest at Liverpool with the takeover.

Another fact is that Chelsea are planning to make a bid for Torres, but it looks that he will give Liverpool at least one more season.

As far as transfers at Liverpool are concerned nothing at all will be done until the takeover is done which should be in about 10 days.

Sheffield united has agreed a fee of £1m going up to £1.5 on appearances and a cut of any future sales.

Barnsley is offering Billy a three–year contract at £7000 a week going on to £9000 after he scores 10 goals.

EFC : Cahill to sign for life imminently, this will lead to Piennar and Arteta doing the same (upto 4 year deals).

Due to this, this will hinder even more EFC the ability to sign anyone significant this summer.

Am hearing through a few sources that Beckford, isn't done and dusted, another Prem team sounding him out.

EFC apparently will add 4 players to the squad, hopefully losing only Yobo, and one signing will be a ''name'', the rest will be merely to pad the squad out.

Manny keeps being mentioned but don't think its possible, have even heard again that Ever Banega is a possible loan deal as this didn't materialise last year.

Players strongly linked:

Buffon – World class, doesn't want to be at Juve, definatly has a few more years in him, and cheaper for us (As they still owe us money from the Viera deal)
Yaya – Yaya wants his future resolved ASAP, people may say we are dreaming but the deal is 90% done, he sees the challenge of filling the void that his older brother Kolo left as a relishing challenge.
Arteta – Contract talks have stalled at Goodison park, which has put Wenger on 'Red Alert' however we will have to battle the scum Untd for his signature.
Wright–Phillips – Not had the best of seasons, however it is reported that a £5million bid would secure former Arsenal Legends adopted son. And Arsene could get him back on form.
Chamakh – Linked for a long time now, its obvious we have bagged a deal, no need to explain, expect it to be announced in the next few weeks.

Dont forget about 'Wengers Unkowns', youngsters that we diddnt know exist, but Wenger sees the potential. minimal fees.

Also expect Sol to sign a pay–as–you–play contract, the English Veteran believes he still has two more years at the top, he is an essential to the Arsenal squad, he brings experiance and discipline to the youngsters.

Gallas future is uncertain, we can only wait and see, NOBODY knows at the moment, however if he leaves expect a few cheeky bids for hangeland and Upson, however i believe we won't get either, so Wenger will turn his eye to a young CB, most likely Sakho, young with a lot of potential.

Now onto Fabregas, yes we expect all the rich clubs to bid, Barcelona, City ect.. Not happening, don't question this, pure media speculation, why would Fab go to Barca when they broke his boyhood dream? his new found love for Arsenal beats of the mega money no champions league likes of City, IF he ever dicides to leave, and lets face it everyone has to leave at one point, the first place youd hear of this is on Arsenals official website. Fact!

Leaving Arsenal: Mannone (LOAN), Sendreos (Free), Gallas (Maybe, Free), Wilshere (6 month loan Bolton), Vela (Loan), expect a lot of youngsters to go out on loan as always.

LiverpoolFC News :

I have an inside information that Gerrard and Torres won't be leaving the club next season. But along with fringe players to be sold expect a big name to depart from anfield, that will be mascherano. He will be joining Real Madrid or Barca. From the cash recieved from sales Liverpool will sign VDV, Higuain from Real and Banega from valencia as a replacement for Mascherano. There is an uncertainty at the club about Rafa's future, so unless the club is sold he will still be incharge at LFC. However the club sale won't affect the transfers as the funds are provided from the 20 mil the club recieved from Standard deal and the money left from the sales of voronin and dossena.

Outs :

Degen 3.5 mil
Cavalieri 5 mil Benfica
Aurellio Free Juventus
Itjande Free
Skrtel 12 mil Juventus

Yossi 10 mil CSKA
Riera 6 mil Valencia
Mascherano 35 mil Real or Barca
Elzhar 3.5 mil
Plessis 3.5 mil Italian Club

Babel 11 mil Galatasaray
Kuyt 15 mil Juventus

Total 101 mil

Ins :

Kolarov 9 mil Lazio
Wilson 2.5 mil Rangers
Cahill 12 mil Bolton

VDV 7 mil Real Madrid or Ozil 8 mil Weder Bremen
Banega 9 mil Valencia

Lee 6 mil Bolton
Krasic 14 mil CSKA or A.Sanchez 12 mil Udinise
Wickham 4 mil
Fleck 4mil

Jovanovic Free
Higuain 25 mil Real Madrid

Total 120 mil

Total spent 120 mil
– Total sales 101 mil
+ 6 mil from Voronin and Dossena sales

= 13 mil net spent

This will be covered by the money from Standard Deal.

Rafa is staying and has been alocated a budget of £12million the rest will have to be raised through player sales , here is a list of the players that will be at Anfield next season and believe me this is not my dream team line up , Jonjo Shelvey{£1.7m}, Danny Wilson{£2m}, Milan Jovanovic(free}, Charles N'Zogbia{£8}, Wayne Hennessey{£1.5m}, Rafael Van der Vaart{£10m}, Roman Pavlyuchenko{swap}, Joe Cole{free} and Aleksandar Kolarov{£12m} and out of these there is only one really good player Rafael Van der Vaart and maybe Kolarov I have heard hes good but never really seen him play, Joe Cole was good a few years ago but hasnt looked the same player in the last year or two a bit like Maxi Rodriguez, and Pavlyuchenko for Benayoun I know we need another striker but Yossi is a better player in my opinion and by the looks of things Rafa is yet again going to gamble {other than Van der Vaart} with signings rather than buying proven players on form your'e basically hoping for Cole, Hennessey and Pavlyuchenko's fortunes to change but then again with budget constraints he kind of has to gamble and Jovanovic could well be another Voronin just because he bangs the goals in in Belgium doesn't mean he'll do it in England, Wilson and Shelvey could turn out to be good signings but I doubt they will make much of an impact next year , Players leaving are as follows Diego Cavalieri, Charles Itandje, Phillipe Degen, Mikel San Jose, Fabio Aurelio, Ryan Babel, Albert Riera, Yossi Benayoun, Damien Plessis, Krizstian Nemeth and Nabil El Zhar, while are team will be stronger we will still lack any strength in depth but hopefully i'm wrong and we get straight back into the champions league then maybe there will be new owners and we can look at Aguero, Silva, Milner and who knows maybe Mourinho. If you think about it its two keepers out {Cavalieri +Itandje} 1 in{Hennessey} two full backs out {Degen + Aurelio} 1 in{Kolarov} 1 centre half in{Danny Wilson} but again 1 out{Mikel San Jose}, two wingers out{Babel + Riera} 2 in{N'Zogbia +Cole} and attacking midfielder for attacking midfielder Benayoun for Van der Vaart , at least up front will be strengthened but you get my point we have to keep more players when we are buying, this buy to sell crap is why we lack strength in depth. All in all I don't think it can possibly be as bad as this year and we will be stronger but any big injuries and we will be screwed .

Beevers (Shef Wed) 2, 500,000
O'Hara (Spurs) 5m
Beckford (Leeds) Free, OR Keane (Spurs) Loan
Wickham (Ipswich) 6m

Newcastle will spend just under 15m and need to make it somehow. Part of it will be found through the sales of R.Taylor (3m), Best (2m) and Xisco (3m). The likes of Hall, Pancrate, Butt and Ngo Baheng will leave for nout. Forster, Kadar, Donaldson and Ranger will be just a few of the players to go out on loan with Tozer, LuaLua etc. following. What happens with Zamblera is unknown.

14 May 2010 01:00:21
Havard Nordtveit will not be on Arsenal's first team squad next year. He is a good young player but is not ready. He is a sometime starter for a team fighting relegation in the Bundesliga. He's not ready for a team challenging for the EPL and UCL titles. He will be loaned out again next season, likely to an EPL club like Bolton or Birmingham.

14 May 2010 01:15:53
Looks like Rafa is after some of the best young players around at the moment, Ever Banega seems to be on his way, in a deal which looks like a bargain for a player who has had a fantastic season in La Liga. £8.5mill seems like a good price. Does this mean a current LFC midfielder is off though? let's hope its Lucas!
We are continually linked with Arda Turan, a player with some considerable talent, anyone else seen this fella play?! but would demand in excess of a deal worth around £12mill or a player swap plus moneys. Mesut Ozil is another player we have been linked with, whether Werder Bremen will accept an £8mill bid (He's worth double that in my view) remains to be seen, but with 1 year left on his contract they may decide to cash in while they can.
If Rafa is willing to splash the cash on all three solely depends on cash available, which could be anything between £20–30mill inc. cash generated from player sales, or if a takeover happens and a Sheik gives Rafa a generous sum of money we could be looking at some world class stars (Bit of a dream though).
Also, Pavlyuchenko for Benayoun + £2mill, I'd rather bring Titi Camara back, better option.

Laters.

14 May 2010 01:20:46
Rafa is staying at Anfield. Torres is staying at Anfield. But Gerrard's future is uncertain. Real Madrid, Manchester City, and Inter Milan are very interested. Here we go.

Outs:
Martin Skrtel – £10 million (one of the Italian giants)
Damien Plessis – £1.5 million (Lazio or back to France)
Nabil El Zhar – £1.5 million (not yet known)
Jay Spearing – £1 million (Lester most likely)
Yossi Benoyoun – £10 million (Spain or swap)
Albert Riera – £7–8 million (Spain or swap)
David N'gog – £5–10 million (not known, Rafa wants £10 million for him)
Phillip Degen – £2 million (Germany)
Fabio Aurelio – free (Germany)
Steven Gerrard – £30–40 million plus players(not 100%)
Sotiris Kyrgiakos – £3 million (not known)

Total spend: around £85 million if Benoyoun is sold for money

Ins:
Milan Jovanovic– free (DONE)
Jonjo Shelvey – £1.7 million
Dani Wilson – £2 million
Evan Banega – £8.5 million
Mesut Ozil – £8 million(only 1 year left on his contract)
Roman Pavlyuchenko– only swap for Benoyoun, no money will be paid
Arda Turan– £10 million
Gonzalo Higuain– £20–25 million only if Pava doesn't come
David Silva–£20 million. This will happen only if Gerrard leaves. Even then this is unlikely, but possible.

Around £90–95 million if Pavlyuchenko doesn't happen.

Net spent: Around £10 million.

This sounds like Football Manager, but Liverpool finishing 7th doesn't sound real, but it is real. The new chairman wants big changes.

LFC new

Every week is a different story on Rafa. I myself wouldn't mind seeing him stay, as he has links back to many spanish players, and is respected by many of them (Mata, Silva, VDV, Banega, Higuain). If he stays, he will continue to bring in young english startlets, and proven argentineans and spainiards. my gues would be higuain or tevez, mata or turan, and banega, along with a LB. As long as he doesn't keep trying to buy the "next big thing", and buy quality players, he should be fine.
If he leaves then i dont't think mourinho will be coming in. Some people say he supports Liverpool, but then why would he go to Chelsea, when Liverpool talked with him right before he signed on with Chelsea? martin o'neal wouldn't be a bad replacement at all, as he could bring many of his young stars from villa with him, which all play positions that LFC need (A. young, milner, agbonalahor)

Okay, I've been reading this forum for a while now and there have always been people who post fantasies..but recently this has become too much. This IS what will happen:
Chelsea: They WILL buy Aguero to eventually fill in for Anelka, whose form has dipped. They will also try for Ribery again.
Man U: Berba and Owen have flopped horribly..Sir Alex will buy one more striker, but will not be able to fork out a lot of money.
Arsenal: Fabregas WILL leave..but as always, Wenger will find a way to fill the void effectively.
Liverpool: Whether or not new owners come in, the following will happen: more younger English players will be bought..a left winger and a younger quarterback (a la Alonso and Xavi) like Ever Banega
City:They will buy players they don't need..most of the players do not get along as it is, and any new stars will only increase the friction.
Spurs: will buy more quality players, but they will not succeed in Europe..Harry has NO experience whatsoever in the UCL and has no idea of what's expected.

Breaking News:

Peter Ridsdale is to be barred from having any involvement with Football League clubs after June 1st 2010.

The ban lasts five years, and whilst he can donate money to clubs (it is rumoured he has given £200,000 to Farsley Celtic) even as a tax–write off, he cannot have a position of power until 2015.

That's if any club is daft enough to take him on!

P.S. Goodwillie to Cardiff, almost done deal!

It's ridiculous to think that Arsenal will pay the kind of money required for Buffon. His wages alone make this impossible. The Italian keeper Arsenal is after is Francesco Toldo, who they expect to give two years of service superior to Almunia before Szczesny is ready.

Toldo will sign for Arsenal for 4.5mln Euros, plus a one year loan of Mannone to be Julio Cesar's backup.

To the person who put this
nwanku kanu lookin highly likely to be at stoke on a 12 month con tract next year kazzim richards bein looked at but wages may be a problem west brom have bin eyein up arismendi and may get him for bout 1 mil utaka cud also be cumin the brit stoke have offered kitson plus 1 mil for maynard bullard and hunt are bein monitored but stoke waitin see who cum in them belleti at chelsea also bein looked at to cum in on a free and biggest deal on the offing is that stoke have offered shawcross to totenham in exchange for crouch and the loan of ohara for 12 months

first off Kanu passed his best so that's a no go
utaka aint any better than what we have and aint worth Kitson plus a mil
Arismendi is one for the future and cost us 2.6mil so he won't be going to a rival for just 1mil
Bullard will want too much in wages and TP won't accept this.
Hunt is too injury prone and only be on a pay per play deal
Belletti too old
the shawcross one is a joke tp would lose his head if he tried that 1 and crouch wouldn't come anyway.

Real rumors out of the brit and i stress rumors! i may know someone who works at the club but they aint in the know only the Tp, his close backroom team and the man who pays actually knows. (like in every club)

Pennent is being looked at but his ego is the major stopping point on it.
Noble is a strong contender to come in as well as sidwell.
O'Hara is wanted but there is stiff competition for his signature
Cole is being looked at but he won't drop from his 50K a week wages so no go there.

Expect another defender though!

Torres – not going to real madrid because of the altetico Madrid link, man city would be a step down, barcelona just bought ibrahemavic (spelling?) last summer for a ridiculous amount of money so they wouldn't fork out more money for him and chelsea manager ancellotti has already said he believes he would be surplus to requirments. He may leave, just watch this space as there are a few partys intrested in buying Liverpool, but the stubborn Americans are holding out for an extreme bid. If new owners come, help with the debt, start building the stadium and sign a few players, no big names, torres will stay for another season and see what's what then. Torres however spoke of his dream of playing in Italy one day, so if the special one stays at inter, expect an interesting summer.

Beckford to leave, a 3 man shortlist of fryatt, stokes and church. Leeds to aim for back to back promotions :) ambitious
