Any SOUTHAMPTON Rumours?

14 Apr 2010 21:34:01
Rooney said himself he would never play outside of england and barca have a policy that they do not sign british players.

A policy? I'm no lawyer, but that would be discrimination. I like how smart you tried to make yourself sound by saying that though. Obviously Rooney, nor any other English player will play out of England in the forseeable future.

Say what you will about Barca and La Liga, but all Spain has is money, there is no passion in the football they play. The best league in the world is still the Premiership. No other league in the world provides such consistent competition week in, week out. But anyway, this isn't intended to be banter.

That is why I don't buy the rumors that Gerrard is leaving. Rafa is not a good manager, through and through. If you can't get top four out of Reina, Carragher, Gerrard, N'Gog, Babel, Benayoun, Kuyt, and Fernando Torres something needs to be done.

Gerrard will stay, he is adored in Liverpool and in England as a whole, he is a class act. Rafa will go, as i believe will Benayoun and Babel or N'Gog.

Policy against British players? You're a fking mug.

MAN UTD NEWS!

My source are already busy doing paper works for possible transfers and loan plans for next season.
My source already submitted to the Glazer's here in Florida couple days ago a Gill a SAF transfer requests. Note the requests from SAF and Gill are only possible transfer plans;

1. KAKA(Real Madrid) exchange for N. VIDIC plus (5 mil to Real Madrid)
2. D. SILVA (Valencia) for 25 mil.
3. HUGO LLORIS (Lyon) 12 mil.
4. BERVATOV to PSG exchange for MEVLUT ERDING & MAMADOU SAKHO
5. SEBASTIAN FREY (Fiorentina) 7 mil (if Lyon won't let Hugo Lloris move)

Other rumours are:
1. M. OWEN will not go anywhere because he SAF wants him to stay and OWEN wants to win with United.
2. SAF will listen to offers for M. CARRICK
3. SAF wants SHAWCROSS back it's is true that he has a clause in his contract which United always put on all contracts first–opton to buy back. And Shawcross wants to go back too.

Thanks!

Does anybody have any reliable leicester city transfer news obviously it depends on what league we are playing in but any info anybody?

I spoke to a high up board member on monday and he let slip that liverpool have planned a double swoop for mata and marchena from valencia, for around 18m and 5m respectively. Also a experienced striker from spain is set to join to help assist n'gog's progress, Kanoute's name was mentioned. However Benayoun, Riera and perhaps Insua are set to be leaving.

Oh dear god – to the person who just wrote a massive script about chelsea with their new stadium, new managerial staff and new players – wake up! seriously. how would you come about know all this? "a contact at the club" really? typical reasoning that is clearly untrue and so commonly used by dreamers, you are just writing what you would like to happen.
chelsea will sell and sign quite a few players but nothing like what you said. why would you let drogba and essien go? then let mikel go who is such a great talent and who you worked so hard to sign? that's ridiculous. also, mikel and kalou to arsenal will never happen, kalou is useless and arsene wenger knows it, that's why he didn't sign him 2 years ago and that's why he didn't sign him in january. most of the other deals you mentioned are incorrect also. you couldnt even make it sound realistic, that's how ridiculous this is. anelka to bolton? imaginative. grow up and stop living in dreamland mate.
also, about the stadium. of course chelsea want a new stadium but it will cost them over a billion. emirates cost arsenal £650.000 and that's in north london, cheap. chelsea is one of the most expensive areas in england and it would cost well over a billion to by land and build a 60.000 seater stadium. if you think abramovich will pay for all that, think again. hes worth 10 billion, so that 1 tenth of his money he would be spending on chelsea, having already paid of debts of 600,000 this year. that's the same as an avergage english person spending 10,000 pounds on building a house for somebody else to live in, and not pay them for it. all this about new stadium, players and coaching staff is terribly incorrect and may happen over the next 10 years, not in 1 summer. live in the real world.
anyway, as for transfers:
milner is heading to man utd for 18 mil,
aguero is to be signed by chelsea for 45 mil
inter milan want stephen ireland for 15 mil but mancini wants to keep him, so he will probably stay at city.
newcastle will sign o'hara
arsenal will sign mohamadou sakho for 10 mil
finally, everton are to sign carrick for 12 mil, but man utd will only sell if the deal is done as carrick + 10 mil for jack rodwell

Sky Sports News is claiming that The Red Knights are closing in on a take over deal at United.

Glazers have stated before that the club isn't for sale but the Red Knights believe a big enough bid will put the Glazers under pressure and maybe sell the club.

A £500m bid will be offered towards the end of the season which was a big risk. Red Knights all agreed to wait til the end of the season before buying MUFC. With United crashing out of the champions league and also looking as though they won't win the premier league this season, The Red Knights are thinking they may get a deal done cheaper.

SAF Summer 2010 Transfer Target: Yoann Gourcuff & Karim Benzema.

To the clown who came up with the load of rubbish about who chelsea would sign:

Roman lost half his fortune because of the recession so he is in no way sitting pretty. He has one son, Arkady, not sons.

Defence: You will not get any of Alves, Ramos and Maicon. Alves plays for the best side in the world, Ramos is in talks to sign a 10yr deal as Real see him as future captain. Maicon, in case you didn't know, plays for Mourinho. He will not be allowed to leave under any circumstances, least of all to chelsea.

Midfield: Essien will not leave for Real because he does not sell shirts. You will not get Rodwell because when he leaves, it will be to United, it's a foregone conclusion. De Rossi is a born and bred Roman and will never leave Roma, especially if they win Serie A this year. Hamsik is a self–confessed Utd fan and is Fergie's top target for the CAM role. Fellaini is a possibility because he is average at best and no other big club wants him.

Attack: Aguero almost a done deal but there is no chance in hell you will get Pato. He has stated on multiple occasions he wants to end his career at Milan. If he is convinced to leave, it will be to Spain.

FYI Joe Cole is a Liverpool fan. He has said so in the past.

To think you call yourself a Chelsea fan after all of that..

Umm iniesta WAS twice the player fab is but not anymore he is ageing and his transfer value is near half of fabregas's.
this year was his worst season since being promoted to barca's first team he has said it himself.
as of right now fabregas and xavi are the best centeral midfeilders in the world.
how is he agin he is 26, xavi is the best midfielder in the world, fabregas looked like a kid playin against xavi, iniesta still is twice the player of fabregas and will always be better than him, no doubt. ribery will be going to barcelona, said himself that he would love to play alongside lionel messi. why would rooney want to stay at united when he could play for a far superior team like barcelona, lloris is there to give valdes some competition, vidic hasnt signed a new contract yet and will be going to barca or madrid or milan

14 Apr 2010 19:30:51
Some of these are a sure thing but some are in my personal opinion needed

out:

Berbatov – 15–18m to either Juve or Roma
Anderson – 12m + first choice on Miralem Pjanic to Lyon
Tosic – 4m to Birmingham
Foster – 4m or loan to Birmingham or Newcastle
Vidic – 30m to Barca though unlikely
Ferdinand – 18m to spurs though extremely unlikely but harry is a known fan
Wes Brown – 6m to Fulham or Wigan
Cathcart – 2m to QPR
Eikrem – Loan to West Brom
Kusczcak – 3–4m to Newcastle
Gill, Norwood, Evans (Cory), King, Stewart, Brandy – all loaned to the Championship sides
Heaton – 1m or less to a Championship side
Hargreaves – 8m to either Villa, Everton or Birmingham
Carrick – 12m to Villa but highly unlikely as he will back up Fletcher as a sub
Owen – 5m to Villa, Everton, Spurs or Blackburn
Fabio – loaned to Catania or Lyon

ManUtd won't have much to spend unless this Red Knights group buys them up and as with the Ronaldo deal Sir Alex won't be given much to spend so the new faces will be

J.Cole – Free from Chelsea

Ireland – 12–15m from man city he is quality and a long term replacement for Scholes

Benzema – Loan from madrid with the option to buy him at the end of next season

Milner – 15–20m from villa if funds are available but unlikely

or

Di Maria – 25m from Benfica first choice over Milner

Gignac – 10m from Toulouse

Zavon Hines – unknown amount from West Ham (he could move for free or 3–6m)

Kjaer/Rodwell/Cahill – 20m one of them will replace Vidic should he leave

the amount Sir Alex may spend at the most is 50m if they get 30m in exits and leftover money from Ronaldo's transfer

Liverpool update. Gerrard has lost faith in Rafa and come the end of the season one of them will leave. If Rafa stays then Gerrard will be off but if Rafa goes then Gerrard is going nowhere.
If Gerrard does go the expect it to be for 30 mil plus to Madrid not Inter.
His replacments will be Ireland and Silva.
Also expect one of Taiwo, Kolarov or Mathew Taylor to come in as LB.
Regardless of the Gerrard situation some youth players will be loaned out for experience.
Darby will go out again but only if a prem outfit ask for him.
Newcastle and West brom are currently in talks for Eccelstone on a season long loan.
A few prem clubs have asked about pacheco aswell as Celtic but Benitez will keep him in his first team plans
Nemeth will also be at Liverpool
N'gog may go out on loan to Russia Turkey or maybe even premierleague itself.

14 Apr 2010 18:50:06
Rafa will reject offer from Juventus cos he's waiting for the new investment coming. If he's given the assurances of transfer moneys, he'll stay.If not, he'll join Real Madrid.

Other recent activities circulating around Anfield are scouts are sent out to view the progresses of Turan, Kolarov, Kjaer, Wijnaldum, Eljera and Aguero.A new goalkeeper was also scouted for Reina's back–up.

In reply to the person who said.

Fabregas and messi are currently in barcalona and messi is trying to convince him to join barca. messi came out and said that he will join this morning who knows whats going on ?!?heard a few rumors that barca will bid 65mil for him or offer iniesta+bojan and money. why would barca swap iniesta for fabregas iniesta is two times the player fabregas isheard from a reliable source that ribery will choose barca over madrid, he said he would of mate his mind up by march/april and has chose barca despite what the president of bayern said, also rooney, vidic and rafinha also lloris to sign for the mighty barca

umm iniesta WAS twice the player fab is but not anymore he is ageing and his transfer value is near half of fabregas's..
this year was his worst season since being promoted to barca's first team he has said it himself.
as of right now fabregas and xavi are the best centeral midfeilders in the world.

ribery's agent said he is negotiating renewing his contract at bayern he would not join bayern unless iniesta left.

rooney said himself he would never play outside of england and barca have a policy that they do not sign british players.

vidic just said he's renewing his contract.. like today.

lloris won't join barca they have no need for him valdes is a better all around keeper. lloris would not join a club that had him benched or as a reserve player he ruled out a chelsea move because of this what makes you think he will join barca?

please get a grip and don't just make rumors up in your head. barca will only have 1 big signing this year and that's a replacment for henry. rumor has it that this player will be carlos tevez since messi plays quite well with him.

I have been visiting this site for a long time now and have never felt the need to post anything before but due to a change of circumstances feel that my source is now unconfirmable.

This summer will see one of the busiest periods of activity at Stamford Bridge since the arrival of Roman Abramovich all those years ago. Roman's finances are very much on the up as he sold nothing when the downturn started and is now sitting very pretty.
Roman is also not going anywhere. He loves football and has seen glimpses this year of the football team he has always wanted and sees the club as an investment for his sons.

Where do i start:

Stamford Bridge: The hierarchy at Chelsea have now realised that the site where Stamford Bridge now stands is just not developable in a way that can see Chelsea make a return from trying to make Stamford Bridge have a capacity of around 55, 000 – 60,000.

It is know secret that Roman was at the opening of the Emirates and was very impressed but what he saw.

For this reason expect a huge announcement of Chelsea FC moving in its entirety to a new 60,000 seater stadium and the redevelopment of the Stamford Bridge site in a similar way to the way Highbury was.

Also expect a large sponsor such as Adidas/Etihad to be a major part of this with naming rights.

Management: Carlo Ancelotti is on the verge of an amazing first season in the Premiership. Again the hierarchy at Chelsea are fully aware of the fact that he has achieved this with a squad that is not of his choosing and even with this being the fact there has been no moaning or grumbling eminating from the Stamford Bridge direction.

This summer will see Roman back Carlo hugely in the Transfer window and expect some major signings which i will cover below.

The only surprise that i have been made aware of is that if West Ham should be relegated then expect Steve Clarke to become the permanent manager of West Ham with Gianfranco Zola taking a position alongside Carlo and Ray on the Chelsea management structure.

Transfers Targets:

GK: Expect Chelsea to look for a young GK to push Cech for his position this season. It is far too early to expect Turnbull to be at this stage and Hilario will be leaving for Sporting Lisbon.
The name that i have heard repeatedly is Joe Hart with Man City looking towards the bigger names such as Buffon.

Defence: On this site i have seen the name Alves mooted a lot as well as the likes of Maicon and such.. Not what i've heard.
Chelsea will look to strong youth to take us forward with Terry and Alex looking to be the main partnership next season.
Names that i have heard are Phil Jones at Blackburn and Steven Taylor from Newcastle.
As for wing backs expect Bosingwa to go to Bayern and Carvalho to also go home to Portugal with again Sporting being the destination.
Incoming will be Sergio Ramos. I know i thought that as well but yes Sergio Ramos.

Midfield: Huge changes here. Outgoing is Essien to Real Madrid, Mikel to Arsenal, Ballack to a undecided German club with three offers being on table and Deco undecided on Portugal or Brazil.
Incoming will be Hamsik, De Rossi, Fellaini and Rodwell. All four have been sounded out and Hamsik will move even after a new five year deal at Napoli which has just upped the Price.

Attack: Worst kept secret ever? Aguero is a done deal, Pato is expected to sign but AC Milan want Drogba as a make weight. Don't be surprised if this happens!
David Villa is a target but is undecided as he won't come to England if his good friend Torres goes back to Spain.
Outgoing will be Anelka to Bolton and Kalou to Arsenal.

Lastly: Joe Cole is a Chelsea supporter. He supported the club as a boy and will stay albeit on a rolling contract that will see his wages rise on appearences to a permanant deal next summer should he prove himself after injury.

Others outgoing: Ferrera (West Ham) Belletti (Brazil)

Trust in Carlo and thank you Roman!

I've got some big news, real facts. mcfc will sign 2 Barca players in the summer for £135 mil.

14 Apr 2010 16:52:18
Liverpool FC: Plans for the Summer Part 2:

Defence.

Looking to sell/release Aurelio (free), Degen , San–Jose, Threlfall and Kyrgiakos. Maybe also Darby. Should raise circa £4–£5m, but free up wage bill significantly.

Attacking left back Aleksandar Kolarov to be purchased from Lazio for circa £13m, Insua will be his understudy, with young Scot Alex Cooper showing real potential.
Glen Johnson is expected to be pushed strongly for a starting roll at RB by the exceptional Martin Kelly. Management are also considering Glen Johnson at RM in longer term.
Centre Back positions will be covered by Agger, Skrtel, Carragher and the highly promising Daniel Ayala.
Net spend on Defence £8m, but wage bill reduced!
Interest in Simon Kjaer is true, but unlikely to come to anything unless budget constraints improve.

Will give you update on midfield tomorrow!

Alwaysintheknow.

Pienaar and Alves will be signed.

Hilario , Bosingwa , Ferreira , Carvalho , J.Cole , Deco , Di Santo and Kalou will sold.

Finally Hutchinson and Matic will be brought into te first team for cover.

14 Apr 2010 16:08:35
Preparations are being made at my Solicitors should West Ham go down. Members of the current board HAVE TO challenge the lack of Wage Reduction Clauses in the current players Contracts. Failure to do so, even considering potential legal fees, would spell Bankruptcy. Major Test case is on the cards that will rock the game..

14 Apr 2010 15:55:57
To the person who said david martin is goin on loan with a view to permanent move, his contract is up in the summer so itll be a permanent move straight away

now for some real news a nationalised bank will buy half of liverpool with an american group buying the other half. the bank will fund the stadium as they see it as a great way to make money lost during the recession quickly, whilst the american group will invest £100 million for transfer funds this summer plus the special one as manager. this is the truth

About a year ago I wrote in and said that LFC would be bringing in young players and some middle of the road veterans to cover as the long term plan was to build a development program so that eventually LFC would keep those that were great and sell those that were good. If you look at what has happened over the last year that is pretty much right. The downfall was having to sell Alonso left them without the key player in the midfield to fill the "gap" between the holding midfielder and Gerrard. The solution was to be Aquilani but his injuries have postponed this from taking off. The result has been Lucas and Mascherano playing together with Mascherano attempting to fill Alonso's role. Problem is he can't deliver an accurate pass more than 10 yards at a time and he is too slow making decisions. While Lucas can, he has either been told to defer to Mascherano or just does. The result is two deep holding midfielders and huge gap in the middle of the field that the opposition has used all year to exploit. Either this gets resolved for next year or the same type of year will occur.

That said, what is going to happen in the next 12 months. Rafa wants big $$ for transfers. Why? A combination to save himself and to use these players as a stop gap until the young players are ready in about 2–3 years. It will take that long till the steady pipeline has been built and LFC fans should be patient for this to occur. As it stands right now they need an attacking midfielder, a winger, a striker and a central defender. Those are the targets but don't expect the usual names, expect to see some younger upcoming players like Aquilani to keep with the model that is in place.

With respect to ownership, sure the Americans want to sell. The problem over valuation is not the team or the debt but the new stadium. Everyone that wants to buy isn't worried about the cost of the stadium or funding it, they just don't want to share any of the potential profits from it in the valuation of the team and the Americans do. That simple. Do I expect a quick conclusion to all of this? No. The Americans have the cash from other ventures so they can pay the Bank of Scotland if they wish so. Expect this to linger for some time rather than be completed quickly. In fact my guess it won't be concluded this year. Sorry but until one side blinks and one parties valuation is met no deal will be concluded.

"Fabregas and messi are currently in barcalona and messi is trying to convince him to join barca. messi came out and said that he will join this morning who knows whats going on ?!?".
I have no idea where either fabregas or Messi are today, but I can confirm that Fabregas will not be leaving Arsenal until the end of next season at the earliest. Sharkey.

Has any one got any rumours about Hearts.

I have heard that Charlie Mulgrew has signed a pre contract, Darren Barr all ready signed.

Kevin Kyle meant to be a done deal, Craig Bryson is the other one I believe.

Thanks

Just to clear a few things up, Man Utd have very limited funds this year to buy new players. Berbatov has attracted a lot of German interest, it is believed he will be sold if a decent offer comes in. United have made an enquiry regarding Evertons Steven Pienaar, however with lack of cash and Everton wanting around £14m its likely a swap deal will be put up. I also know United are targeting Wigans Hugo Rodallega as cover up front, a bid of around £12m will be layed out over the summer. Only big signing I can confirm as a real possibility is David Silva, however I know a fee will be put forward and paid in installments. Silvas present employers are not keen on this as they are looking to bring in funds themselves, this will open the door for Chelsea as they are also keen. Expect no big signings this season boys, a couple of youngsters are also looking at being brought to the club.

Celtic are planning a major rebuilding process in the summer starting with the arrival of Billy Reid as manager with a few to groom Neil Lennon as the future Celtic manager. Reid has a history for nurturing young Scottish talent and with the bigger budget and facilities available at Parkhead its believe this could be the dawn of a bright future at Celtic Parkhead.

This is all from a inside source at Parkhead how is a close friend.

I have also been informed that moves have already been sanctioned by Lennon in consultation from Reid for St Ledger, Nish, Bamba, Dorman, Mehmet, Clegg and Goodwillie with a view to increase the Scottish contingent at the club.

I have been speaking to my good freind in the liverpool board, he has confirmed to me that when xabi alonso and alvaro arbeloa signed for real madrid there was a clause in the deal that said in the terms of liverpool get first refusal on higuain. This will most likely lead to liverpool signing higuain in the summer for around 30–32 million pound.
liverpool fc will not be selling gerrard or torres as they are wanting to build on the strengths of the team, not weaken it in anyway.Down at the bottom are liverpool's most deffinate sinings and sellings.

ins, higuain(ST), silva(lM), jorgecevic(ST), chellini(CB)DIEGO(CAM)LAHM(LB) cost 100m

OUTS , mascherano(20M), skrtel(5m), riera(8m), n'gog(3M), lucas(5m)income 41 million

There will be a big clearout at Barnsley in the summer this is not a rumour but a fact.
There will be new faces at Oakwell including Montgomery and Morgan from nearby Sheff Utd and the Rotherham striker La Fondry.

Fabregas and messi are currently in barcalona and messi is trying to convince him to join barca. messi came out and said that he will join this morning who knows whats going on ?!?

heard a few rumors that barca will bid 65mil for him or offer iniesta+bojan and money.
henry to leave.. probably for mls or a french team since barca plan on replacing him and cut down on wages to sign other impact players.

also to the following people.
"£50m to spend plus sales will keep RAFA at the club, RAFA will target 3 world superstars SILVA KUN being 2 of them."
the club will have £50m all together but that's not 50mil to spend buddy learn your footy facts. and that 50mil is including the likely sales of the 2010 transfer window. since liverpool won't get champions league probably not even 5th either this wil ldefinatly impact their spending spree in 2010. not to forget the stadiium debt.

"C Ronaldo: hasnt settled in madrid as well as he hoped, always said he might head bak 2 united 1 day "
at this moment in time united do not have the money for ronaldo, unless they sell a large quantity of their players which is unlikely. if ronaldo was ever to come back to england it would be for man city because their the only club that can afford to keep him and his rediculously high wages.

raul: fergie has went 4 proven goalscorers in the past (owen) and might want more cover,

raul said himself he would never leave spain the only other league he would consider playing for before he retired was mls. and the new york bulls teams are alredy in negotiation with him.

free trnsfer in the summeryaya toure: think he is chelsea bound, but man u might hijack the deal,

yaya toure said he would like to play for man city and play with kol toure his brother but as of right now barca plan on extending his contract.

anyway other arsenal news

eduardo may be traded with money for eden hazard, wenger is not interested in hazard too much at the moment but with a big risk of loosing fabregas now he will definatly consider him and eduardo is definatly leaving in the summer him and wenger know he doesn't fit in well now.

arshavin may consider leaving in the summer apparently due to "disputes" with arsenal staff but unlikely.

gallas will be moving to roma on a free transfer now according to his agent.

sol campbell will renew his contract for 1 year at arsenal

silvestre leaving on a free transfer

sanderos will not stay at everton arsene wenger will retain him as a subsitute cb along with djorou.

expect 2 new defensive signings 1 new centre back and another right back since we only have sagna there and their are loads of rumors of him leaving aswell. both signings will be cheap, probably 25mil to be spent on both players.

chamakh to come on a free transfer. pretty much confirmed of right now but he can still change his mind if he wants to. he will replace eduardo.

a new goal keeper is likely to be signed. don't expect him to be somebody like buffon or casillas but akinfeev may sign or hugo lloris as wenger is a HUGE fan of him.

rosicky is likely to be offloaded in the summer, probably certainly if hazard is signed.
fabianski will definatly be sold if a new keeper is baught.
sznezy (spelling?) is going on loan.
jack wilshire will continue another season on loan with bolton (confirmed)
carlos vela to go on loan to atheltico madrid along with fran merida.
jay simpson will be kept in the summer, depending on his performances he may stay with us all season or loaned in january.
wellington silva will gain his work permit in january.
so squad of arsenal in the summer:

Michael Owen back to Toon don't talk daft he would be crucified – let him rot somewhere else.
Taylor to be sold £8 – £10 Million. He tried hard enough to manufacture a move to Everton last year hope he goes Andy Carroll did right knocking him out!
Cheeky bid for Carew @ Villa and Sidwell @ Villa
O Hara won't come , too far North for him , although Hughtons Spurs link may help Bullard too expensive I hope.Expect loan moves a plenty and pray that someone will buy Ameobi.

Lots of silly Man Utd rumours again – you can tell its half term!
Anyway, a few pointers about the more ridiculous suggestions: LAURENT BLANC to become assistant in view to taking over when Ferguson retires. Laughable. Blanc has taken Bordeaux from plodders to pinnacle. Why would the guy (who is also drawing interest from Real Madrid), want to be anyone's deputy when he has the option of managing several top european clubs? Blanc may head to Old Trafford one day, but only when Ferguson has gone.
Another classic posted today – Rodwell in with Berbatov in exchange! Berbatov sulked like a spoiled brat at Spurs because he saw them as being too small a club for his aspirations. Now if he thought Spurs were small, he must consider Everton miniscule! No chance of a deal. Berbatov interests AS Roma, but they know they probably cannot afford his wages and transfer fee. Bayern Munchen are his likely destination (especially if they win the European Cup). The deal however will be way short of what's been rumoured on here. Utd will do very, very well to see anything more than £18m. As for Rodwell, lots of Evertonians crowing about Lescott going to City for £24m so why would they sell Rodwell for any less. Because Lescott is an established England international and has years of Premiership experience – something Rodwell does not! Rodwell is talented, granted. But it would not take anymore than £17–18m for Kenwright to start seeing pound signs and order a taxi to Salford. Owen could well form part of the deal, he's been largely ineffective at Utd. David Villa will rock up at either Madrid or Barca, unless Torres beats him to it, Silva is a possibility but forget Benzema. He won't be sold on the cheap and Utd are not going to pay £30m for him. Chances of Steven Ireland signing from City? As likely as Portsmouth announcing a deal for Lionel Messi!

In response to

Any real rumours UP THE BAGGIES

Targets

Reid – (Free transfer)– Blackburn
James mcarthur (£1–3Mil)– Hamilton (many interested for his signature tho)
Greening – Will be back as fulham will not agree to spend the £3Mil price due to players age.
Eagles (£3–4Mil) – if burnley go down expect WBA to mae a bid for the talented winger
Tamas– Will arrange a fee of around the million pound mark to seal the defender permanantley.

Out– Dorrans – no secret of interest from the top clubs. However he would command around £8–10 Mill realistically as WBA wil not refuse such an offer. Moreover his value is way above some of the people's derogatory £3mil valuations.

However dorrans may opt to stay due to Promotion and in lateral thinking this gives interested managers a chance to see how he does in the EPL before making a bid this summer.

Thanks Tim

"Right – I've read a lot of nonsense on here just recently about Liverpool, so I decided to try and find out the lowdown from my contact inside the club. There has been a lot of talk on here about DIC, Indian billionaires and Saudi Princes, but the simple fact of the matter is that no–one inside the club has any more clue what is going on than you or I. All my contact could confirm is that the Americans are now definitely looking to sell outright and that there are offers on the table, but nothing agreed yet. Consequentially, this means that Rafa's future is unknown, and as a result – all transfer plans are up in the air. So all these done deals read about on here, simply cannot happen until there is closure on the ownership issue.

What we did talk about, is POTENTIAL targets – I was informed of numerous players who have been scouted extensively – some of whom have been mentioned numerous times on here, some of which have not. Rest assured, there were some very impressive names discussed (will certainly excite Liverpool fans), and a fair few who I have no knowledge of. What did surprise me, is that Jovanovic could join along with THREE other Serbs. Kolarov, Krasic and Sulejmani have all been initially contacted.

It is clear that any transfers are dependent on takeover issues and of course the management issue. Some of the players who have been seriously looked at would cost a LOT of money, so I guess these will only occur if a takeover did happen. What was also confirmed is that there is no way Torres will be leaving unless a ridiculous offer came in (100+ million) as the player wants to win things for the fans – this has come straight from the man himself, who has personally told my contact that he wants to stay for a long time and win things with Liverpool. The rumours about Gerrard are partly true, but these have been known locally for a long time, so I don't think they will force a move, as they haven't the previous 4 years that they have been known about.

A long post I know, but we were out all night and discussed many, many things. I for one am getting quite excited by the things I have heard, and whilst it depends on a couple of bungling Americans – good times could be just round the corner."

Finally somebody talking sense. Seems now it is a certainty that there will be new owners in place by the new season, or the yanks risk losing any cash they're hoping to make on our club, and taking a kicking in the finance department. The fortune of seizure and auction means any former interested parties can jump back in and make a tidy little deal and pump more back into club investment, although it's highly doubtful that things will go that far.

Onto some real rumours, a clearout seems likely with, Aurelio moving to Olympiakos on a free, Benayoun reportedly seen as a Krasic replacement at CSKA, Riera more than likely moving back to Spain with the Russian window closed, Degen and El Zhar also moving on. Lucas and Babel will not be leaving under Benitez, but new management may decide otherwise.

In all fairness, players coming in nobody has a clue about, new ownership and management ultimately will decide whether we're digging around in the bargain bucket or taking a look at bringing in some "World class" talent.

Right Peg = Top Bin

Thierry Henry – likely to leave Barca this summer. His presence in the first team this season has been largely down to injuries. The blistering pace has now gone and he is at best an impact sub for any of the top teams. Having now won every honour going – Champions League, Domestic cups and leagues, European Championship and World Cup, it is time for Henry to make one last move before hanging up his boots. Henry will never return to England. He is an ardent Arsenal fan and still has huge passion for the club. Therefore, he would not consider a move to City, Liverpool or any other Premier League side! He will sign a deal with the MLS – mainly for marketing purposes rather than achieving anything in the game (similar to Beckham). This could see a year or two at NY Red Bulls while he takes his UEFA coaching licences. Henry's long term target is to return to London as manager of Arsenal FC. Carry on with the rumours of him moving back to England if you like, but its only showing how desperate you must be! He's way past his prime – 3 goals this season (that's one less than Messi got against Arsenal alone!), I think even David N'Gog and Benjani have better return rates!

Jose Mourinho – rumours aplenty regarding a move – again to City or Liverpool! (see a pattern developing here?). Mourinho WILL quit at the end of the season. He's hoping that he can beat Barca and lift the European cup for a second time. This will then give him the angle that he has achieved everything during his tenure as Inter coach. It's a certainty that he will be at Real Madrid next season. The fact that he gets to link up with Ronaldo alone was enough to influence him. He will relish the challenge of taking on Barca and re–establishing Madrid as the major force of La Liga once again. English football is very much where Jose see's his long term future however, so Real will merely be the prelude to finally becoming Man Utd manager when Ferguson does eventually go. This is the job he wants above all others and he knows that jumping into bed with City or Liverpool would distance himself from ever achieving that goal. Liverpool simply could not afford Mourinho – they don't have the budget, the ground, the foundation of players to build on or Champions League status. City do have all that, but money is not Jose's prime objective and he's worked with one interferring Chairman before. All the talk of Benzema going to Utd however is purely hyperbole and media trash. Jose is likely to keep hold of him and give him the 2010/11 season to prove himself. Real are not a million miles away from being a great side. He will make minimal changes within the summer (the major changes will be at CB).

Newcastle Utd – Chris Hughton could have up to £20m available to invest in players. While Ashley will not be looking to throw money into the club, he has learned from his mistakes and realises that in order to recoup his losses and sell the club on he needs to ensure Utd do not become a yo–yo club like WBA, Wolves etc.
Forget moves for Keane and Carrick. Both players would wipe out the entire transfer kitty! They would also demand a very tidy wage, something that Ashley will not authorise. Kevin Kuranyi is available on a free this summer and will be the top transfer target. Steven Taylor will be sold for around £8–10m with Phillipe Senderos or Sol Campbell targeted as his replacement. Bids likely for David James, Jamie O Hara and possibly Aruna Dindane. Hughton will be keen to resist bids for Andy Carroll and Jose Enrique who have been superb this season. Enrique has caught the eye of Arsene Wenger however and should Gael Clichy move to Real Madrid, a bid could be made. Hughton's transfers will be mainly for experienced players and loan deals. Utd have some decent players, now with confidence restored. A few shrewd moves this summer and Newcastle should have enough to consolidate their Premiership status.

To "redman" who wrote:

You are pretty much spot on. Benitez will have £50mil due to a new financial package the club are on the verge of agreeing. Silva will cost around £22mil, Aguero about £33mil. However there will be NO 3RD SUPERSTAR. This will be it.

Other players coming in will be:
Aleksandar Kolarov (13mil) Simon Kjaer (11mil) Lee Chung Yong (8mil) Juliano Belletti (free) Dida (free) Milan Jovanovic (free)

Leaving will be Cavalieri Aurelio Skrtel Degen Benayoun Babel Riera El Zhar San Jose, Nemeth and Itjande raising between £35mil and £40mil.

Benitez knows he needs more quality in the side and that is why the big money is being spent on Aguero and Silva. All the free signings are to bolster the squad and they are all experienced players.

These signings will give the squad the options to play 4–4–2 or 4–2–3–1 and more importantly, a strong bench.

Benitez feels that last season was an over achievement. This season was an underachievement. But he fully believes the current squad is better than last years, and to be honest so do I.

Joe Cole – free from Chelsea
Still we left with 15m odd which may be used to get a defensive midfielder ( M.Veloso )."

The first point is that the "done deals" need to be funded. The club do not have endless amounts of money to use during the season and then a new pot for the transfer window. However, I do think that Benzema will arrive at Old Trafford.

And then "and Fergie is not going to retire for other 2 years till Jose take control."

However good a manager Jose Mourinho is, he is not going to suit the Old Trafford hierarchy. The club have been actively exploring possibilities for the next manager with Sir Bobby Charlton taking a leading role. The informed view is that an agreement has been reached with Bordeaux coach Laurent Blanc to take on the role when Sir Alex Ferguson retires. Sharkey.

Haha football is my forte, if i knew the lottery numbers i would be posting from a sunny beach, clear oceans, 42" screen watching England win the world cup haha.

I was trying to make the point that Gerrard seeks a new challange and a move abroad, not for personal reasons, but for footballing reasons. He has lost faith in Rafa (torres sub at birmingham) and we should get the 30mil now. the only way Gerrard will stay (possibility) is if rafa heads to madrid himself this summer (possibility).

few more rumours!

Houllier will be offered the French National job after Wenger turns it down after the world cup to replace Domenech.

Also the engand squad for the world cup will be (gk) – James (pompy) – Green (WHU) – Hart (MAN C)

(def) – Johnson (lpool) – Rio (UTD) – Terry (Che)

Dorrans is going nowhere staying at the baggies, RDM looking at a few players Messi wants to join but wages are high, Gerrard said only if we are in europe ( so he must be leaving Liverpool ) Well if others can dream so can I. Any real rumours UP THE BAGGIES

14 Apr 2010 10:28:35
Firstly all rumours of MASSIVE changes at man united involving £60m+ investment are so far of the mark its unreal. The only reason that Gill has come out and said all the Ronaldo money is still there is to try and dispel some of the hatred we have for the Glazers. In all honesty what i am hearing from some of my friends in the finance market is the kind of debt we have is likely to restrict our expenditure for 3 years min unless an investor is sought (bonds were used to pay off interest accumulating on original debt not clear debt itself.) so maybe a few promising youngsters 1 forward tops no marquee signings. Now some interested news i have re the situation at LFC, MAJOR investment on the horizon. I've heard (not sure how accurate) that at least 3 interested parties are in advanced discussions re naming a price debt plans etc. the most likley of these is a dubai based consortium of 3 investors with connections to the royal family. can't tell you figures etc but buy oout would be for example £350m + clearing the debt. Now i have it on good authority Mr Benitez is leaving (thats a fact hahaha) no idea on replacement but hopefully ot mourinho a lot of talk though about this, but i have heard there will be a few quid available to whoever takes over and i know that Higuain is a target, he is not the galactico name the madrid fans love and his friction with c ron is affecting the squad and they won't sell ronny will they? but i also know mascherano is trying to convince G.Higuain of lfc being a good choice other names ive heard mentioned mata, turan, kolarov, vargas, s.ireland and kjear these are mentioned not buying. oh and by the way Gerrard MAY leave not def and this isn't something ive heard just an idea – hes 31–31 coming into the twighlight of his career lfc need to move forward and need to improve drastically so if someone like Real or Inter came in with £30m if not sure the club would say no and i think that deep down every scouse out there probably wouldn't be too upset. still well finish above them whatever next season

Forget all the Benitez rumours about him staying at Liverpool.
I have it on good authority that Rafa is leaving. His house is up for sale, and he and his wife haven't renewed their golfing memberships. And if you're into health and fitness, his wife has canceled her fitness club too.
So for all of you in the know when it comes to Rafa, try and get some concrete info., in the future.

Chelsea Summer 2010 Transfer targets

GK: Igor Akinfeev is now probably a highly probable signing given Hilario's recent performances, a fight between him and Cech for the No1 spot would be a good problem to have. Would cause tension long term so Cech will probably leave after 12 to 18 months.

DEF: BELLETTI and FERREIRA: the options; Neven Subotic, David Luiz, Bruno Alves

Subotic would be good but D Luiz however is probably the best option.Bruno Alves would work well with Carvalho, Alex and Bosingwa all speaking Portuguese.

ASHLEY COLE: Options: Vargas, Dani Alves

Vargas is the only real option I see, i hope we don't loose Ashley, though Vargas is good. Alves obvioulsy plays on the right and is not a real option to replace Ashley, but could be part of swap deal with Barca for Ashley

MID: DECO: The options; RVDV, Silva, Dzagoev, Pjanic, Teixeira, Danny, Ki.

Its no secret that Chelsea are chasing RVDV hard he is a big chance to sign. Teixeira, Dzagoev and Pjanic are young, but we could certainly use their youth, and with Lampard ageing signing two of them, but only bringing one to the Bridge for now is certainly not out of the question. David Silva is in the mix but there will be a lot of competition for his signature, Danny would be a good signing but perhaps not quite as good as David Silva. Ki Sung–Yueng is talented (interest from SAF) and would be a boon for Chelsea merch sales in Korea.

JOE COLE; Options; Schwiensteiger, Assulin, di Maria, Alcantara, Quaresma

Schweinsteiger is the ideal replacement for Ballack but he could also replace Joe Cole. Gai Assulin would be a great get but we are competing with AFC for him. di Maria can play on both sides despite him being better on the left, but again there will be war for his signature.Thiago Alcantara would be good, but I'd rather him to come in a few years, maybe a loan ? Quaresma' s been here before and he'd be cheap.

FWD: ANELKA: Options: David Villa, Sergio Aguero, Lacina Traore, Luis Suarez, (Pato 2011/2012)

Villa is expensive and ageing but good, Pato seems destined to one day join Chelsea and despite current appeals by his manager that he will not he will remain a target. Aguero should if he stops mucking us about while Lacina Traore at 6'8 would obviously help us maintain our size advantage. we apparently have first refusal on Suarez too.

KALOU: Options: Morimoto, Neymar, Nilmar

Morimoto is a bright young star in Serie A, and would blast our Japanese Merch sales into the stratosphere (no load to carry either as he's also interesting Fergie). Neymar; it seems to be a lot of money to me but there is a fair bit of talk about him. If Nilmar leaves Villareal he could be a good get for the 3rd striker spot.

YTH: Romelu Lukaku, Urreta would be great alongside Kakuta or di Maria he's probably a 2012 signing. Christian Eriksen has also been attracting a lot of interest.

SCOTTISH PREMIER LEAGUE.

Aberdeen – Keeping tabs on Falkirks Enoch Showunmi as Lee Miller Looks set to join a championship side in the summer.

Celtic – Look unlikely to make any loan deals permanent as they were tony mowbrays players, and Lennon prepares for a fresh start. But have made inquirys about David Healy from sunderland and Prince Buaben from Dundee United. Are also looking at the possiblity of bringing in Sol Bamba from hibs but face compatition from various english sides for his signature.

Dundee United – Trying to tempt Ian Black away from hearts to strengthen the midfield and may also try to bring back mark kerr from aberdeen.Leigh Griffiths from rivals Dundee although a fee in the region of 1million pound have cooled their intrests along with, hibs and aberdeen.

Falkirk – Facing a battle to hold on to various players if relegated. David van zanten(hamilton) and Lewis stevenson(hibs) look like there top targets.

Hamilton – James mccarthy looks set to join wigan at the end of the season and are looking to sign willie gibson from dunfermline.

Hearts – Apart from Darren Barr already signing a pre–contract agreement..i honestly have no clue who hearts are looking to bring in..but then again, who does? Probably some unheard of lithuanian talent.

Hibernian – Heard from a reliable sorce that Ivan Sproule is ready to return who failed to impress at Bristol city. Danny swanson from Dundee utd, Andy Dorman from St.Mirren and tam scobbie from falkirk is also rumoured.

Kilmarnock – No Defenate manager in place so i can't see anything being thought about at the moment. id think they would try keep a hold of Chris Macguire who is on loan from aberdeen.

Motherwell – same situation as Killie.

Rangers – a family friend is in partnership with david murray in a bus company, and he's been told that walter smith will move "up Stairs" after the season is over and be replace by ali mccoist, and ian durrant will be his assistant with david weir taking up some coaching and still managing to play. steven whittaker seems to be heading to newcastle, Bougherra is a target shock target for spanish champions Barcelona and various other spanish, french and english top flight teams. top transfer targets are david goodwillie from dundee utd, christophe berra from wolves and david marshell from cardiff as a replacement for alan mcgregor.

St. Johnstone – Celtic youngster Grieg spence is being tipped to be loaned to the saints (according to his older brother) and they also hope to keep cillian sheridan for as long as possible. Also going for out of favour hibs goalkeeper Graeme Smith.

St.Mirren – martin canning from hamilton is a huge possiblity, along with inverness striker adam rooney if inverness fail to be promoted to the SPL.

Manchester United Rumours :

Manchester united cannot spend this summer due to huge debt. Its true .. Fergie may do this to strengthen the team ..

OUTS :

Michael Carrick – Milner + 10m swap to Aston Villa
Dimitar Berbatov – 18–20m Inter/Juventus
Michael Owen – 5m to Everton/Villa
Ben Foster – 6m to Aston Villa
Zoran Tosic – 5m to Koln

Total = 50m

INS :

James Milner – 10mil + Carrick from Aston Villa
Benzema – 25m from Madrid
Javier Hernandez – done deal from Chivas
Igor Akinfeev – free in Jan from CSKA
Chris Smalling – done deal from Fulham
Marnick Vermijl – done deal from Standard Liege
Joe Cole – free from Chelsea

Still we left with 15m odd which may be used to get a defensive midfielder ( M.Veloso )..

and Fergie is not going to retire for other 2 years till Jose take control.

I wrote here sometime toward the end of last month saying that I had a friend in the media who told me that one of the teams in the top four that wear red are expected to be taken over next month (April).
Looking at things now it is obviously Liverpool or Arsenal, but I was in contact with him on Saturday, and he told me that the team they are expecting to be taken over is Liverpool, and as I saw on Sky Sports earlier "Sky Sports Sources believe there are three different parties interested in buying Liverpool", but on Monday before that Liverpool news broke out, the news of Lady Nina Bracewell–Smith putting her shares up for sale at Arsenal rose up out of the blue, I then phoned him to have a laugh about how he had lied to me, but apparently, none of them new about this, there was no clue's whatsoever that there could be a possible takeover at Arsenal, but he did have some extra information on it.
He told me that, neither Kroenke or Usmanov are looking to buy her share's at the moment, Kroenke because he wants to make as much money as he can in the USA before he decides to bid for Arsenal, and Usmanov because he was hit hard by the financial downturn and isn't looking to to buy the club at the moment. This is the exact reason why Blackstone were acquired to sell the shares, and apparently there has already been interest, with none other Stan's in–laws interested, and for those of you that don't know who they are. They are the Walton's or better known as the family that owns US superstore Wal–Mart. The member of the family that is interested is Jim Walton, he is Stan's wife's cousin, he is estimated to be worth $20.7 billion, it is thought that Stan and his wife (Anne Walton–Kroenke) were talking with Jim, and Stan told him it's a good investment and new challenge, so could Arsenal be heading for a unexpected takeover soon?
Back to Liverpool, I was also told that Rafael Benitez is keeping his job regardless of a takeover or not. The amount of funding he receives this summer is completely dependant on whether or not Liverpool qualify for the Champions League or not.
If they qualify, still, don't expect much, expect around £20 million and whatever is made from sales, don't expect massive names like Higuain, Mata, Silva, Villa, Aguero etc. etc. expect players like Fernando Llorente (£12m), John Carew (£6–8m), Arda Turan(£12–15m), and Carlos Marchena (£4–6m). I'm not saying all of them will be signed, but these are players that will be linked with a move, expect 2 or 3.
If they don't qualify for the Champions league, all Liverpool fans should expect the worst so they are not disappointed, Gerrard AND Torres, and possibly Machserano will leave, Liverpool will probably rake in around £100 million from them, and only around £40 million will go back to Rafael Benitez to invest back in the team.
Back to Arsenal, I was also told that the players Arsene Wenger is after are Diego Lopez (£8–12m), Cedric Mongongu (£8–10m), Marcos Senna (£3–6m), Eden Hazard (£14–18m) and Maroune Chamakh (Free)
So, expect big changes on and off the field in the coming months at Arsenal and Liverpool.
I can't wait!!

–Joe Cole is expected to sign a new contract with chelsea (from Carlo)

Everton are making moves to sign micah richards, charles nzogbia/landon donavon, nigel reo–coker, beckford(deal to be announced at end of season)

13 Apr 2010 22:38:45
Hahaha as a general football fan from liverpool i do laugh at all these rumours about both red and blue halves of merseyside,

torres–staying
gerrard yes he is leaving so what they arnt a one man team, there are up and coming replacements though guess what city, chelsea, he will go to spain not another english club
rodwell–staying, why would they sell a player that has the potential to b one of englands greats for less than they got for that muppet lescott, it would take a solid 30 milllion to get him though apparentlly hes in cotton wool for fergie, 5 million plus carrick and berbatov, which i suppose would be about 30 million,
aquilani, theres no difference in him than billyaletdinov at everton they are gaining fitness and adjusting, they aint goin no where

its just mancs chattin st

everton to sign, donovan, carrick, berbatov, eduardo

liverpool to sign, javi martinez, llorente, gallas on a free, jovanovic

13 Apr 2010 22:47:42

Liverpool to sign Kolarov, Higuain and Milner

LFC Scotty

You are spot on mate. These are exactly the signings that we need, and if there are any funds left over from sales, lookout for a bid for Silva or Mata. If not the Turan.
