From France we will see Lower league french pair Le Harve(?) pair Christophe Careen & Mathias Careen but they have potential it whether they become first teamers.

Although Liverpool are in deep discussions of a takeover, it is ridiculous to suggest that Liverpoll will sign 23 players in January which will come to an astonishing 143 million pounds as somebody posted on this roumer site yesterday.
On to the other half of Merseyside, Everton will make a 5 million pound bid for under pressure Nigel Reo Coker. The West Ham midfielder is unhappy at The Hammers and Everton are willing to meet the asking price. Also, Everton are weighing up a swoop for out of favour Barcelona striker Javier Saviola. Expect a loan deal until the end of the season with a view of a permanant deal.
Also, the move to a new stadium in Kirby will not go through as the club will face a backlash from the fans if the deal goes ahead. Everton will now look at other options but it is very likely that an announcement will be made within the coming weeks.
Manchester United are going to take the mickey a bit and launch a bid for Thierry Henry in the summer. My uncle is a steward at Manchester United and he claims that the fans really want to bring Torres and Robinho to Old Trafford. Robinho will cost a very pretty penny at around £30 million whilst Torres will cost £25 million due to his release clause. Nani will come in January as will Reo-coker of West Ham. Reo-Coker will be leaving becasue Magnusson has questioned his commitment to the hammers and is looking for Mascherano to establish himself in the team. Arsenal are looking to buy yes you guessed it Van der Vaart and it's possible they eill get him but expect Liverpool to challenge with their bottomless transfer budget they have just gained.
The Eggert Magnussen era has well and truly begun at West Ham following the sacking of Alan Pardew. Alan Curbishley has been installed as firm favourite to become the new manager, and it turns out that Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano will be sold in Janury. Neither have made any sort of impact since signing from their native Argentina in August, and both are set to move on now with Tevez set for a move to Villarreal and Mascherano looking for a move to Inter Milan. The Tevez deal could see former Manchester United forward Diego Forlan moving to Upton Park in a swap deal, and Curbishley is also considering a swoop for his former players Matt Holland and Luke Young from Charlton.

The rumour posted about the Everton player and his wife is true. My source at Merseyside Police tells me they have been called to the veterans home on at least 3 occasions in the last 8 months. Moyes isn't happy but Everton are trying to cover it up until the player signs for his new club.

Celtic are interested in 8 new players for next season to replace Balde, Telfer, Lennon, Pearson, Thompson, Jarosik and Zurawski. Their main 8 targets are Pressley, Kilgallon, Kadlec, Thomson, Brown, Tymoschyuk, Stokes and Voronin. They are likely to get Pressley, Kadlec, Tymoschyuk, Thomson, Stokes and Voronin but should they lose out on Kilgallon and Brown they will move for Czech pair Grygera and Sivok. There also may be the possibility of a move for Beckham!?!?!.
Rangers want 9 new players for next season to replace Letizi, Klos, Rodriguez, Ponroy, Rae, Buffel, Stanger, N'Diaye, Sionko, Prso and Sebo. Their targets are unknown but will be a goalkeeper, a right-back, two centre-backs, a right-mid, a centre-mid, a left-mid and two strikers. They want Olic but he is almost certain to join CSKA's rivals Spartak. Le Guen may be waiting until January to see who are available on Bosmans before deciding on who he wants.
ANOTHER WORD ON CELTIC AND RANGERS
Celtic seem to have pulled quite far in front of Rangers off-field and on-field, Celtic have opened new markets in Japan with the signing of Nakamura and in Poland with Zurawski and Boruc and are a major force in the USA where they have started soccer camps and are annualy invited to play pre-season friendlies. They also generate more money than their old firm rivals and now even more that they've been progressing on the european stage giving them in the region of £8m per season to strengthen their squad. Rangers who have sold the rights to their merchandise to JJB last season and sold their youth contracts to a un-named company a few years back, as a quick fix to give them money soon but lose out in the long run have took a nose-dive in recent years on the pitch and off since their debt piled up to £75m a few years back and are still in the progress of recovery. If Celtic keep progressing the way they have been since Gordon Strachan took over then it will be very difficult for Rangers to match them due to their financial difficulties and we may well see Scottish football being dominated by the Hoops for the coming seasons.
Celtic News: Neil Lennon will be kicked out the club in January. He is very unpopular with his team mates. After he started fighting with Boruc then attacked young Mcgedey on the pitch after the Dunfermline game - Strachen see's that as the last straw. He already fought with McManus on the pitch after the Benfica game. He won't be dropped for the Rangers game as Strachen wants to keep it under-raps.
S. Pressley will join Celtic till the summer when he will join Kilmarnock as player coach.
R.Earnshaw or A. Stokes will also join the hoops in January.
Rangers have targeted J. Folwer of Kilmarnock to add steel to their cotton wool midfield.

JP Morgan are intrested in Celtic not Liverpool, they are a big USA Company and watch for Celtic getting Freddie Adu on loan, it would tie in with JP Morgen and Nike deal and Adu is a leading name in the US Market. it would allow Adu to play Champs League football. Chris Burke may be forced to sign a new deal at Rangers due to Celtic's quest to sign Adu but the young Ger might opt for the Championship with Sunderland and Derby looking at him, sources tell me that Burke wants to win things and has a better chance away from Rangers!

There will be big money Bosmans allow for incorrect spelling Tymoschuk, Vornion, Distain from Man City. That will add maybe 70k on the wage bill but remember Thompson and Balde are on almost 60k between them.
The self-proclaimed "Special One" will move away from Stamford Bridge next summer- probably to the sure to be promoted Juventus. Italy has always been his preferred destination but Roman Abramovich's money made him lose sight, temporarily, of his dream. He absolutely did not want Sheva or Ballack, and he was right about both. Nigel Reo-Coker was causing the split in the dressing room and caused Pardew to get sacked. WHU will off load him to Arsenal or Everton with a fee of about 8 million. The new manager (curbishly) will be given this 8 million + the 15 million that has been made available in january.

Reading are looking desperately for a striker in January, with a free transfer signing of Robbie Fowler most likely. However the Royals do face a major blow, as Nicky Shorey is set to take a medical at West Ham.
To ease the striker trouble at St.James Park G.R will look to take Antonio Cassano on loan until the end of the season with a view to make it permenant in the summer. Real already have good relations with Newcastle and as Cassano has fallen out with Capello he looks set to join the Toon

Everton are likely to sign Alan Smith on loan in January until the end of the season with James Beattie poised to leave - Middlesbrough, Bolton and Sheffield United are interested in him. Everton boss David Moyes is also going to loan out James Vaughan with Crystal Palace likely to take him and the manager remains interested in David Nugent and is also eyeing up David Healy.

West Ham are about to take Geremi from chelsea for about 2.5m, Micah Richards is heading to the bridge for 14m
Bolton have agreed a fee (which will be undisclosed in the media) of around £1m to sell Ivan Campo to Athletic Bilbao. This fee could rise if Athletic retian their La Liga status to around £1.5m. Big Sam would love to keep him but knows it is Campo's dream to play for Bilbao and at his age is willing to let him go. Bilbao's new coach is also sniffing around other Basque stars such as Raul Garcia and Mikel Arteta. Despite their poor position they are one of Europes richest teams and may make enquiries about these players. It is unlikely that Everton will let go of Arteta for anything less than £15m.
Arsenal News- Over the course of January and the summer a number of players will be watched. Arsene Wenger momentarily is getting scouts to keep a close eye on two of Sevilla's hottest prospects being Jesus Navas, and Puerta. However Arsene is deciding between whether to carry out a deal for Ribery, or sign Jesus Navas. Jesus Navas as previously mentioned suffers from home sickness, and this could be a huge stumbling block in the deal. Ribery would be the more expensive option, however the obvious advantage is he is French. Secondly, there has been a lot of talk about the new Brazilian prodigy Alexandre Pato, who currently plys his trade with Internacional of Brazil. Wenger will keep a close eye on the 17 year old striker at the World Club Championship. However the Internacional chairman has vowed to protect the youngster during the competition, and the signing would seem odd with Vela and Bendtner out on loan. Thirdly, a few random youngsters have been mentioned inluding the two young Croations, Modric and Da Silva, also Lucas Leiva of Gremio who is attracting alot of interest accross Europe, Barusso of Rimini, Mavuba of Bordeaux who may be the successor to Gilberto. Finally Wenger may be ready to push a deal through for young Turkish superstar Nuri Sahin. Also not forgetting goalkeepers with the likes of Amelia, Gordon and Pele being watched.

Sevilla wingers Antonio Puerta and Jesus Navas both look set to stay, despite interest from Arsenal and Chelsea. Both players have committed their futures to the Spanish La Liga title-contenders, and Sevilla have declared that they are not for sale at any price.
Newcastle United will be given the money in January to buy new players even if the takeover doesn't go ahead. The Belgravian group have told sheperd that if the takeover does go ahead they will reimbourse him for any transfers made in January(within reason). This comes from a sourse inside the club which cannot be named for obvious reasons.
