Liverpool Transfer news. In January, Rafa will look to sign two players on loan, one definitely being Rafael Van der Vaart who confirmed he will leave Real Madrid in January, a move to Anfield was discussed between both Liverpool and Real during the talks for Alvaro Arbeloa and Xabi Alonso in the Summer. The other will be a striker on loan, Roman Pavlyuchenko has been mentioned but its a smokescreen for a loan for Klaas Jan Huntelaar. Huntelaar is worried by his lack of first team football yet again and would jump at the chance of playing in the Premier League, especially along side Van der Vaart, Dirk Kuyt and Ryan Babel. Daniel Agger may require more back surgery and Rafa is concerned about this and will look to Mathew Upson, who he could sign for £8–10million as cover.

man utd will not be buying silva/villa this is a smoke screen neither player would come before the world cup and the tax differance is so much that they'd be on far less money. the sad news is that Vidic will be leaving in the summer Real and Barca will fight it out for him maybe as high as 40m, he wanted to leave this summer as his wife hasn't settled well but with ronaldo leaving sir alex persuaded him to stay for 1 more season as a favor to him. also leaving will be Nani, after his out burst to the papers he'll be out the door so fast his ass won't touch the ground, he'll be gone in january. also either Carrick or Anderson will be leaving in the summer, due to anderson arriving as an 18 yr old he is classed as home grown. sir Alex will assess both players at the end of the season and decide which 1 no longer has a place at man utd. also 1 of Brown or O'Shea will be leaving as well with sir Alex doing the same thing as with anderson and carrick. now coming in will be Angel Di Maria with Nani going the other way with a hefty amount of cash. Sakho of PSG or Subotic of Leverkusen. Rodwell of Everton, one of Pjanic of Lyon Gourcuff of Bordeaux(whom utd have first refusal on) or Defour of Liege. also joining will be Chamakh of Bordeaux who will sign a pre contractual agreement in January. PS don't be surprised if you see Laurent Blanc at united when sir Alex steps down.

For all you people who insist that the reason that Man Utd are not signing new players is because they don't have any money, this is not true. The reason we are not buying any new players is because we do not need to at this point. This was always going to be somewhat of a rebuilding year after losing Ronaldo and Tevez. We have so much young talent coming through the system i.e. Welbeck, Macheda, Rafael, Fabio, Obertan, Petrucci, Gibson. All Fergie is doing now is trying to blend them in the squad. All of these players are future stars in the making. Where would any of these highly touted youngsters play if we signed Villa, Silva etc.? The point is United is fine financially, and if Fergie really felt we were one player away from winning a treble, he would buy him. But the fact is this year we are trying to mature our players, and hopefully still win the Premier League/FA Cup. Next year all of the rewards will be reaped as the younger players will have that much more experience going forward. And also for those who say we will not buy a new goalie because we do not have money, also untrue. Fergie has stuck by Foster because of his great potential and performances last season. He has been extremely inconsistent, which is now why we are looking to upgrade. We would've upgraded in the summer had we known how this was going to turn out. And Rooney is going nowhere. Just because Ronaldo says that he would be a good fit in Real, doesn't mean they are going to pursue him nor does it mean Wayne has ANY interest.

Barca are in quite a lot of debt, which is why they want Robinho on loan and not permanently. This was reported in a very reputable newspaper. What this means is that it also throws a number of spanners in various transfer works. Mascherano to Barca obviously now won't happen. Barca will be keeping Yaya Toure and Real will be keeping Diarra. If Barca can sell Yaya then the guy they'll go for next summer is Cesc Fabregas as he qualifies as a homegrown player_________________________________________________The financial crisis at Manchester United is showing absolutely no sign of easing. There'll be no David Silva at any point, so lord knows why people think they'll be getting Silva AND Villa. Both of these will be going to Real, as part 2 of their Galacticos project will be based on Spain players and players based in Spain. The targets are Silva, Villa, Mata, Aguero, Marchena, Guardado etc. But of course this all depends on how much their main target, Wayne Rooney, will be costing them.______________________________________________Liverpool won't be spending big in January, but they'll be spending. The reason they didn't spend much (net) in the summer was an agreement between the owners and Rafa that he wouldn't kick up a fuss and in return he'd get some money in January and a good amount next summer. The likes of Voronin, Dossena and Ryan Babel will be leaving in January and with they money available Rafa is looking for a couple of attacking players. He'll see if he can strike a deal for Suarez of Ajax in a swap deal for Babel plus cash. If they agree, Babel will stay at Liverpool until the summer as will Suarez at Ajax. If he can't do that he'll go to Valencia and see if he can get Mata in exchange for Riera. Roman Pavluychenko is a loan target, but is unlikely as Spurs won't want to strengthen a top 4 rival. Depending on the level of West Hams cash crisis he'll look to get Carlton Cole and Upson on the cheap, but also a surprise offer for Diamanti.

LFC will not be signing Carlton Cole, £20m is way over their budget and Rafa does not think he is worth it. When they finally fail to qualify for knock out stage of CL Rafa will be told to sell Torres to recoup the loss of revenue. Fergie will make a cheeky bid of £12 plus Berbatov. Also joining the champions will be M. Neuer(£9m), D. Costa (£15m), D. Silva (£10m + Nani), S. Kjaer (12m) & L. Suarez (17m). Also Adam Ljajic will go straight into first team in January as Fergie believes he will take premier league by storm. Leaving OT will be Nani, Carrick, Heaton, Kuszczak, Possebon & Rio.

Jermaine Pennant is regretting his move to Zaragoza despite the 80k a week salary, as Zaragoza look set to do nothing this season and Pennant has been subbed in five of his seven starts. Carlo Ancelotti is considering adding him to his squad as he is still eligible for the Champions League.
With the Mourinho to Man City rumour gathering momentum, Adam Pearson is watching closely, to see if he can make a cheeky enquiry to Mark Hughes of a deal with a bumper bonus if Hull stay up. Pearson has investors interested who would turn around the clubs finances, but they want a big name in charge instead of Phil Brown.
Its no news that Rafa Benitez is under pressure, but in a strange twist of solidarity, he was given some support and words of advice by Arsene Wenger after the two clubs' recent Carling Cup tie. He is now dealing with the pressure better and is watching the return from injury of Francesco Totti closely. Roma are mid–table and Benitez believes if he can somehow get Liverpool to the next stage of the Champions League, the lure of that and a Premier League contract might be enough to persuade Roma's captain to sign off his career at Anfield.

LFC transfer : this is just rumours from a friend. Rafa won't get sacked, and instead the owners will pumping monies for his january transfer spendings. don't expect much of this money, and so don't expect all–stars players coming in. Rafa is considering cheap options for his attacking, to be paired with Torres and as for backup (Rafa really needs it since Torres is facing a probably long injury period).
The main options are ageing Makaay, and Adriano of Flamengo. Both are being rated at 5m/7m respectively. Although they are cheap, but they are proven to be goal machines. Only their adaptability to English soccer is a gamble. Carlton Cole is also one of his choice.
There are some inquiries made by several big clubs from Spain and Bundesliga about the youngsters Ngog and Lucas. Masch to Barcelona is still in doubt, since LFC is asking for 35+mil plus Bojan on loan.
Rafa and the other Spaniards in the team are also interested on Pedro of Barcelona.

I have it on good authority that Manuel Pellegrini along with Florentino Pérez of Real Madrid have made "extensive enquiries" about the availability of Liverpool F.C's Lucas Pezzini Leiva. My sources have been informed that Real Madrid have made two offers for the 22 year old Brazilian, which so far have been turned down without hesitation. The offers so far stands at a staggering 17 million Euro's for the youngest Bola de Ouro (Golden Ball) winner, an honour given to the best player in the Campeonato Brasileiro, previously won by the likes of Zico, Falcăo, Alex, Romario, Kaká and Tevez. My source has told me Florentino Pérez refuses to take no for an answer and has assured Manuel Pellegrini he will get his man.
