Rafa's main target is to sign eto, use xabi Alonso to bring in Silva as Alonso is keen to move back to Spain, the replacement would be barry. Valencia financial situation may result in them wanting straight cash for Silva resulting in no deal for Eto'o as Alonso would then be mooted towards A. Madrid as would Pepe reina in order to land Sergio Aguero. the other option is Robbie Keane.
my brother works for Marca newspaper.
Hi, I am a Celtic fan just finished work at Southern General and on way past Ibrox noticed 2 things. 1) New set of floodlights being installed. 2) Stan Petrov coming out main entrance. I am still in shock, surely not? However I can say for certain that it was him, one of my idols when he played for the Celts ;– (
Aberdeen are willing to let captain Scott Severin leave to join Glasgow Rangers in a straight swap deal for Alan Gow. It is unknown yet if the players have agreed terms.
Austrlian Star Defender Mark Milligan had trials with Arsenal, Blackburn and RC Lens. With his curent contract with Sydney FC finsihed and with no intention on extending his stay at the club. It looks almost certain that Milligan will have some defiante European interest. take it form me this kid will be playing Champions League next year.
yours truly ABK
Rangers to sign Danny Shittu from Watford within the next 24 hours. This would be a good sigining for Celtic as he is murder and big Jan would have him in his back pocket.

On the rumours of Roberto Carlos, a fried works in the kitchen at Parkhead and is 95 percent certain Roberto Carlos was being shown round the ground. Look out for him signing shortly, although I very much doubt he will be ahead of Naka in taking the freekicks.

Last piece of football gossip, and Uncle Wally and Auntie Sally will be shaking in their boots, is the possibility of Van Nistelrooy on loan for a season. He is reportedly unhappy at Madrid's pursuit of Didier Drogba, and could be looking for a way out of the bernabeu. With 'Van the man' looking for Champions League football and Madrid not willing to sell him to another Spanish club, a swith to Parkhead for a season appeals to the Dutch forward as he would be unwilling to return to England.

Start worrying now Walter.
  Afc Bulletin ########

Expect an offer by AC Milan worth £30 million + AC Milan player Yoann Gourcuff to Arsenal 4 Adebayor, however it's been learnt that Gourcuff is 2 go out on loan 2 Bordeaux and Gourcuff will not move to Arsenal until his loan ends in June 2009. With talks over an improved deal having stalled between WHUfc and gk Green, it's been heard Arsene Wenger may make a move 2 sign Green.
As I know many pople inside fir park I have heard there will be a few changes:
Derek Riordan will sign on a one years loan deal in act to impress and gain first team football.
Wigan Stoke and Preston North End are in a bid tryin to secure the name of Stephen Hughes, the offers aresaid to be around £2 million.
If this does happen it is most certainly the steelmen will sign a midfield star from real Zaragoza going by the name Peter luccin. The fee for the central midfielder will be a club record and between 1.25–1.75 million.
Also it has been said that Scunthorpes goal machine Billy sharp will sign on an undisclosed fee posibly in the Summer if not definetly in the January window.
  – GLASGOW RANGERS– –
Rangers will sign Steve Davis on a 3year deal in the next 14days.
During this Summer window we hope to sign:
22 year old Villareal defender Arzo
28 year old Werder Breman forward Ivan Klasnic
Marlon Harewood from Aston Villa
Greek defender Torosodis
Thats all I know at the moment from my mate who is an ex Rangers player and coach in MurrayPark.
I know nothing about any of the transfer fees that are to happen.
However I cannot figure out why we are to sign more forwards?
Maybe Boyd will sign for Cardiff and perhaps Eddie Murphy is on the way out too.

Re, MICK TAIT, I work with–in the City, part of our office read's contracts for certain parties regarding clauses (not just sport), David Bentley has all but signed for Tottenham, the deal will go ahead, but everyone is waiting for Blackburn. i.e player's or cash? but as I said the deal will go ahead regardless who'ever comes in with a last minimum bid. sorry.
  Latest from The Valley

Marcus Bent's move to Cardiff will go ahead, despite late interest from West Bromwich. The fee is expected to be around the £1.5 million mark.

Amdy Faye has been training with Stoke City in the hope of getting a move back to the Premier League.

Madjid Bougherra could be a Real Betis player as soon as this weekend, for a fee of £2.5 million. This is way past the rumour stage and will happen.

Chris Iwelumo to Wolves for £500 k–£1 million is looking very likely, as Pards trims his strike force down from the 8 currently on the books to 6 (inc. Bent's departure). Palace were also interested but balked at a player + cash for Ben Watson deal.
Rumours: Man United are the team that will snap up Huntelaar, there is interest by Wenger who is promising further first team action however Huntelaar wants to go to Man United as he will receive twice the amount in wages.

Liverpool will Silva for around £18 million, Rafa has far more money than he's telling everyone so that he does not get inflated prices when he enquires, hence he did not just give to the £18 valuation from Villa for Barry, (smoke screens people).

Chelsea will not sign Robinho as Ronaldo will not be going to Real after Sep's stupid rants, it is about pride now. Instead they may turn to Queresma who has not joined Inter.
  To the person that said:

"My wife works at Emirates and here is the plan for Arsenal. Do not believe the Arsahvin nonesense. Ins:

Nasri
Kompany
Mario Gomez
Zhirkov
Ramsey

Out:

Ade (Milan)
Hleb (FC Barcelona)
Flamini (Milan)
Lehmann (Stuttgart)
Gallas – surprise. (Lyon) "

I have heard similar things except Gallas will not leave, and mario Gomez will not sign. Instead a Brazilian forward will sign
Arsenal are interested in Brazilian 22–year–old centre–back Alex Silva, although rumoured to have signed a pre–contract with AC Milan. He plays for Sao Paulo, and his older brother is centre back Luisao from Benfica
I no from a reliable source that Huntelaar is on the verge of signing for Man United for £18 million with youngster Matt James going the other way. Matt James is a 17 year old in the under 18 squad.

I recently spoke to a first team Rangers player who told me that Walter is trying to persuade Sir David Murray for cash to buy Rino Gattuso from Milan. Apparently Gattuso'wife is pregnant and wants her children to be born and brought up in Scotland. He is desperate to keep playing and Rangers are his preferred choice.

ps I am not a fan and it was not until somebody told me that I was speaking to a Rangers player.
Sometimes I love this site. Some of the rumours on here make me laugh. Anyway just a couple of things I have heard and two things I have been told.
LFC are looking at Marko Maric, but have yet to even contact Gladbach, Maric looks good (see youtube). Villa is not coming, we cannot afford him, we are in for Keane I have been told we offered £12 million which has been turned down expect another bid shortly. LFC are also looking at Kerlon but Rafa is worried about his size and strength (5'5"), + we have competition from Man–ure and Chelsea. Gareth Barry is a done deal £16 million + Stevey Finnan (? overpriced? ). Rafa also likes Renato Augusto, but so do about 10 of the worlds biggest clubs. Silva is still an option but expect Rafa to take Maric if he is priced out of the market.
Forever Red
More on the "Keegan will resign" rumour. It's not the case that King Kev will certainly leave but he's becoming increasingly isolated at the Geordies. His simple, naive nature is not cut out for current back–stabbing environment that is St. James' Park. Moreover, his one dimensional technique as manager and overly high expectations on the club's future is being called into question by the chairman, a number of leading players and the Newcastle staff. I would be very surprised if Keegan made it through the Summer, never mind through the next footballing season. As for a replacement, Newcastle can only dream of enticing managers of the calibre of David Moyes. I would expect a man like Glenn Hoddle to be approached. Someone who is skilled but has been out of the top division for some time and would be willing to move even to the North East in order to prove himself. There is still talk amongst the Geordies of their saviour, Alan Shearer, returning to the hallowed (sic) turf of St. James' Park. I can categorically tell you that this will not happen. Shearer is enjoying life agreeing with everything Alan Hanson says on the TV. And even if he was not, there seems a good argument to suggest that Shearer does not have the mental capacity to manage the day–to–day running of the North East's largest football club. If Keegan could not do it, then what chance would Shearer have? Nevertheless, I would expect Shearer to one day represent the club as a supporters ambassador, someone to meet with and represent the various Geordie supporters groups.
I have it on good authority that Celtic are in talks with Belgium forward Marc DeGryse. They have apparently looked at the Belgian for a few years now.

Expect Balde to go in the opposite direction with Gravesen getting his pay–off to get out of Glasgow
  Liverpool outs–
Dannie Guthrie to Newcastle
Scott Carson and Nabil El Zhar to Stoke
Jermaine Pennant to the Hammers/Blackburn
Alonso to Juve/Valencia
Jack Hobbs to Hull
Leto to Santander
Miyalov to Twente

Liverpool ins–
Mario Gomez
Silva
Simao or Juninho
Barry
Danny Guthrie will join Newcastle, as the two clubs have agreed an as yet undisclosed fee for the player.

In other Liverpool news, two bids have been received from Premier League clubs for Scot Carson. The clubs in question have not been named, nor have the respective bids.
  HOT EXCLUSIVE.
Raul will be signing for Liverpool not D. Villa or R. Keane.

Ronaldo will be going to Madrid (eventually) and insistant on having Raul's number 7 shirt. (Cr7 brand)

HOT EXCLUSIVE.
I have it from a reliable source (Liverpool players relative) that Robbie Keane will 100 percent sign for Liverpool.
Keane is desperate to go and Tottenham are just waiting to get replacement, before selling.
i would name the player, but he might (would) get into trouble
i have a shop and the player and his relation come in all of the time.
Despite the collapse of the Norwich City takeover bid, there is a substantial amount of money available to Glenn Roeder. Roeder will look to invest in youth and will only spend big on players he considers will bridge the gap between the Premier League and the championship. The Shola Ameobi deal is still likely.

Darren Huckerby was allowed to leave the club due to a recurring injury that meant he would never again reach 100 percent fitness – this had an impact on his move to the warmer climate of the USA.
Norwich have stopped talks with billionaire Peter cullam because another person has offered £60 million to buy out delia (£3 million more than she asked for. OTBC
Liverpool they will sign these players by the time the season starts.

Juan Arango – 6 mill
David Villa – £24 million (50–50)
Robbie Keane – £14 million – if Villa does not sign.
Marko Marin – 3 mill
Gareth Barry – £16 million (last offer)
David Silva – £16 million – (if Barry does not sign)

Going will be:

Danny Guthrie – £3 million – Newcastle
Charles Itanjde – £2 million – PSG
Scott Carson – £8 million – possibly Blackburn
Yossi Benayoun – possibly as part of the Keane deal.
New Hearts boss Csaba Laszlo will waste no time in making his first signing. It will be fellow Romanian Marius Niculae from Inverness.

Niculae is alresdy aware of the interest and is keen to join Hearts, and despite Inverness saying they will not sell, he is their highest earner, and they will do. Expect a transfer fee of around £400,000 to seal it.
Andy Johnson wishes to sign for Birmingham City on a season long loan deal with a option of a permanent move when Birmingham arrive back in the Premier League.

Birmingham are sniffing around Mendieta and McBride they have been released by Middlesbough and Fulham respectivley.

Birmingham stars Sebastien Larsson and James McFadden will be staying at the club.

– CITY SQUARE MILE 2
  Everton will sign the following

Riquelme £7 mill
Aimar £6 mill
Arda Turan or Reyes £5 mill– £11
C Cuellar £7 mill
Gudjohnsen £5 mill
Gilberto Silva £2.5 mill

Johnson and Arteta going no where
  Afc:
Hi I have a high profiled source at Arsenal so I will post everything I know regularly on this site. I'll keep you up to date. O.k so Nasri has signed. Ramsey has signed. And trust me when I say this Huntelaar has also signed. Veloso may or may not happen. The thing that is on Wengers mind is that Diaby, Denilson and Ramsey are all there and are all quality players. Veloso is expensive. So do not be suprised if you do not see Veloso.

Goonertooner.
  = Arsenal=

I have just read from a source that Arsenal are leading the race to sign Columbian forward Falcao. I have not seen him play however he is said to be talented and Man UNITED have also been linked with him. My opinion is that Wenger is keen to sell Adebayor, thus he has been liknked with a few strikes and is not willing to take Adebayors wages above 60,000 a week and has apparently told AC Milan that Adebayor is open to offers. Expect the forward that is signed if Adebayor does leave to be a reasonably big name as Adebayor would be a big loss to us as he was our main source of goals last season and we do not yet have any youth material ready to break into the first team strike duo alonside van Persie. Possibilities are Obafemi Martins, Klaas Jan Huntelaar, Andrei Arshavin and Falcao. I have also read that a fee of £15 million has been agreed between Arsenal and FC Barcelona for Alex Hleb, so personal terms will now be being discussed. Nasri will be signed shortly followed possibly by one of Amaur Bischoff, Veloso, Raul Albiol and Yaya Toure as Flaminis replacement.

Thanks,
ArsenalNo. 1
THFC do not do press confrences.

its stock exchange (if applicable) – Tottenham mobile – Website – then SSN.

11. 00am – 1pm Friday expect an announcement.
'Villa would never leave Valencia, without making a serious step–up in his career. 'Although Rafa has just announced that we are not going for Villa, the lad would be making as big a step up as you can make in football if he did join Liverpool. Keane to join the Mighty Reds as he will force his way out of Tottenham for around £15 million.
Expect a bid for A. Lennon also as Rafa wanted him in preference to Pennant when he bought him (who will go). Downing rumour has legs, unforunately. Kemlyn Roader
Fact– Liverpool will sign barry, silva, Keane and lastly the suprise signing of the Summer. RONALDINHO yes ronnie is coming to Anfield. his agent and brother was seen at Anfield with Rick Parry expect these transfers to be completed within the next few days. one more thing. Alonso will not leave even if Barry signs. This is because Gerrard next season will mostly be play on the right but cutting in. we need 4 central midfielders who will be barry, Alonso, masch and Lucas. Keane will play in the hole just behind Torres. also Ronaldinho will play on the left cutting in. this will allow our two new fullbacks to bomb forward in support when we counter. Silva will be eased into the squad gradually
so the lineup will be a 4–2–3–1 or 4–4–2 or 4–3–3 on the counter.

LFC4life.
  BIG UNITED NEWS
ronnie to sign for toy Madrid on the 31st July £58 million + Ramos making deal about £75 million
United will make 3 signing
forward cruz/Eto'o £12 million/£22 million
winger silva/Bentley £19 million/£17 million
young kid from Brazil £19 million
Now that Ferguson has been ruled out for up to four months Rangers will meet Fulham's asking price for Davis, they will also sign amposta from villareal and will try to sign a young kid called Jacob Mantovani + either Wilhemson or Afelley (loan) will be brought for thew right wing and a left–back.
Seriously, how does everyone seem to think that they know things that the papers do not. rumours, fair enough, but things such as Kenwright refusing to stump up anymore cash, or him thinking about selling up just to get out etc. is utter rubbish, BK is a true blue.

Bottom line, whenever Moyes has asked for cash for a big signing and the papers say, 'EFC have no money', he comes up with the cash, for instance £11 million for The Yak, £8. 6 for AJ etc.

Mike Ashley, Roman etc. are a lot Richer than BK, you do not have to be a genius to work that out, but I would take £10 million from BK rather than £30 million from any other chairman as BK lets his manager spend the money and does not make him buy the players he wants, Cahill, Arteta, LeScott, Jags, the list goes on.

Moyes might leave next year. gutted if he does, but we've been lucky to have such a manager for as long as we have.

EFC rumours are;

Fletcher (United) £4 million
Owen (£5 million + Neville) Unlikely as we do not want to loose both Carsley and Nev
Hennesey (Wolves) £5 million

Hopefully one other Midfielder but lots depends on BK pulling a rabbit out his hat. where's the money going to come from, I do not know, however he's done it before, so rather than speculate with names that I wish would come E. g. Aimar etc, we'll just have to sit back and wait. We move late in the market, always have done so lets not get on big Bill's back just yet.
Rumour has it that Shaun Maloney is on his way to Wigan so I am told from a reliable source.
