Ricardo Fuller spotted in Blackpool town centre, expected to be announced as a new signing tomorrow.

For fleetwood maybe?

13 Aug 2013 07:47:46
He was hoping to sign on - but the queue was too long!

Would be a good singning

May be on holiday?

12 Aug 2013 19:35:05
brighton and hove albion looking to sign tony hibbert on loan.

Good player, but too old. Aged 32 we need someone in their 20's

Not attacking enough

We need someone like him on loan to help with the young full backs, chicksen and maskimenco.
He has experience of 10+ years in the prem, vital experience for the young full backs

He's an attacking defender! Sounds ideal! Originally a midfielder.

But he is in his 30's. We need someone between the age of 23-28.

He would be good for a year or two

14 Aug 2013 12:40:52
How old was bridge when he came to us,
Like someone said good premiership experience,
I would like to no from some off you who would be better, perfect fit for us in my opinion,

It doesn't matter how old he is if he's only on Loan but we need to be buying more players!

What?! haha there's no way Brighton would sign Tony Hibbert.

Tony Hibbert may have Premiership experience, but we need someone who is in their 20's who is much fitter and faster.

^^We've got Chicksen

Any more Huddersfield players coming in ed?

Notice we have no loan players yet after Hoyle said at end of last season that loan player would once again prove to be a vital move for us as we can get 'high' calibre players in and only pay a fraction of their wages, as we did with Beckford last season. I'm quite surprised no one has come in yet but I suppose Premiership clubs are holding onto their players at present as they are struggling to sign players, with the exception of Man City!

If we are going to stick with three at the back we are definitely short of central defenders. Need one more with height and pace to at least cover for Injuries and bans.

Morrison to come back

Need a Centre Back and a creative Midfielder! 2 Loan players from Prem teams would it good!

Forget new players. We have a much stronger squad than last season. What we don't have is any guarantee that they will stay injury free for the rest of the season. Surely it would be better to wait until we have a clearer picture of how the new look squad gel, and what if any injuries we pick up in the meantime before we think about signing anymore players.

Scott Wooton fits the bill, has been rumoured previously that he would come in on loan, maybe now is the time.

I can't say I'm totally convinced about this 3-5-2 formation but if it's going to be the way forward for Town, then we definitely need another centre back - not just a dominant defender but someone comfortable on the ball who doesn't panic as soon as he crosses the half way line!

Morrison and Powell. Town for the playoffs if that happens!

Don't know about the play offs just yet but i'm confident of a top half finish with or without new signings. There are too many weak teams this time around for us to be in the same position as last season. Millwall Blackburn Wednesday and the 3 promoted teams are all in for a rough ride.

14 Aug 2013 10:44:59
Morrison is second for the captaincy at Reading and is starting every week he is not going to be loaned back

Clarke, Gobern and Robinson should not be in the squad! They are League 1 players! They need to be replaced quickly!

Gobern was one of the best players on the pitch on Saturday

Gobern league 1 standard? Ar u pickled mate?. I reckon gobern will shine this yr providin he stays fit

Gobern was by far our best player last Saturday. Obviously the one who criticised him wasn't at the match.

Bioth Lg 1 players had had great games against qpr and all their stars on satdy - ummmmm?

Antonio Robinson is essentially stealing money from Deano every week he refuses to cancel his contract, whereas everyone just seems too scared to drop Clarke as captain for some reason

What a stupid comment. Robinson is injured. If you were injured at work would you just quit? Of course not. I'm sure that as soon as he is fit he will be moved on.

Anton Robinson post is a bit below the belt. Not his fault that Lee Clark gave him a three year contract with a double your pay if promoted clause and not his fault he got a bad injury while on loan and would have transferred to Gillingham had this not happened. It grates with me a bit that he is taking £7k a week from the club but that's the fault of whoever offered him the contract and you can't expect him to move while injured, who will want him? His contract is up in June, maybe he will be paid up once fit.

Anton Robinson is out injured until Christmas. HTAFC will stick by him until fit for transfer!

Clarke defo needs replacing! A solid CB required! and a creative midfielder! Sort it Hoyle! Get banging on to those Prem managers!

12 Aug 2013 19:28:21
Gills looking to bring in 3 players from west hams u21 squad on loan including George Moncour and Blair Turgott

Wrong. I work at West Ham and that won't happen.

13 Aug 2013 12:42:38
That's because Scally is best mates with David Gold.

Where are the players we are signing?

12 Aug 2013 18:49:59
Jenas to Hull for 2m, Granero to Swansea for 3.5m and Crouch to QPR for 3m. All before window closes

Not a chance on ganero, way to many attacking mid options now, Alex. michu, de guz shelvey, all can play his position

Think our midfield is packed full now, doubt we'll be taking anymore in (Jack)

I can quite clearly say that none of your predictions will come true. These are hilarious rumours

Jenas to Hull? No chance, Bruce has already said he's looking abroad now

If hull were to go for a spurs midfielder it would be livermore. jenas isn't PL quality.

Jenas not being picked at the moment by Harry fits in with him moving on. Also with Scott Parker rumoured (strongly) to be signing in the next 48 hrs. Granero will move back to Spain very soon

13 Aug 2013 18:01:42
jenas has proved he is prem quality and livermore hasn't so livermore isn't the way to go

Any news ED on oussama assaidi seems as if it stalled

Laudrup publicly killed the Granero rumour a month ago, the signing of Shelvey filled that slot in the squad

12 Aug 2013 17:43:28
Bristol Rovers still keen on Tom Hitchcock originally on a one month loan to give him some game time and Rovers some options up front.

John Ward may turn to his old club Colchester for the highly rated Freddie Ladapo if QPR wish to hang on to TH.

12 Aug 2013 17:31:47
Boro list of strikers includes Tokelo Rantie, Marco Schneuwly, Ronnie Schwartz and Ricardo Vaz Te (loan). Heard nothing about about a defender as of yet. JM

12 Aug 2013 18:42:33
Yeovil have signed Wayne Hennassy from Wolves on loan as a replacement for the injured Marek Stech

He will be a good signing for you.

13 Aug 2013 11:21:05
Yeh very true, he is a class keeper when fit, just has green fingers now and then lol but as a shot stopper he's world class

Hope he stays fit

12 Aug 2013 17:49:44
Cardiff are hoping to conclude the signing of winger Jefferson Montero and is also looking for a new left back.

12 Aug 2013 17:03:13
Burnley to sign Joe Mason from Cardiff & David Fox on loan from Norwich

No chance, mackay rates mason highly, maybe on loan, but still if it is on loan mackay would need to know it is to a club where he will learn

Can see the Mason link with Dyche being good mates with Cardiffs manager.

David Fox a great talent in the Championship. well down the pecking order at Norwich needs to be playing football permanently. I think Norwich would sell him if they had a decent offer.

You won't get Mason not even on loan because Malky wants to use him in the Prem maybe in january if he's not getting any game time he will probably be loaned out

12 Aug 2013 16:58:41
Bolton duo Tim Ream and Tyrone Mears are both heading to Blackpool 1 on loan and the other permanent

Hope this is true bring in Dawson

Tyrone Mears lost his place due to Alex Baptiste

Ream may be ok not sure about mears but has plenty of championship experence. Could be two good signings

Oh I do hope the permanent deal is for Mears then that just leaves Mills to get rid of. Then we can go out and get Dawson and another striker Happy days!

12 Aug 2013 14:30:47
Just hearing that Burnley and Bristol City are sniffing around our main man Wells. would be gutted to see him go! But I suppose he'll fetch a good price!

Nahki I hope that's how you spell it, I think he is a good player, but his first touch let's him down a bit, but I can't see us clarets wanting to pay much, we have to keep the powder dry

Not from Burnley he wont! We won't be spending big on anyone. the CA money will already have been allocated to "running costs" and SD will be lucky to get £700k to spend.

Think we will go down without him tbh

Rumours must travel pretty slow over your way then, its been banging on for ages that Burnley have looked at Wells. I can't see it happening so don't worry youll keep your man.

Bristol City are unlikely to be too interested especially with the silly figures quoted as what you want for a L2 player who has played just 2 games in L1.

12 Aug 2013 18:02:15
not a chance of him going to Either Burnley don't have 2m+ to spend and he won't go to a team in our league

Burnley Bantam

Why would Nahki considering joining a club lower than us in the league. i. e Bristol City. there's is no way he would leave for any league 1 club as it happens. so keep clutching at these rumours folks

Cant see us paying 2 million out burnley

Where did you hear this to bro?
And would be class if city could get him in!

And all of you thought I was making it up

Dont need a striker we need some defenders yesterday was a joke! score 4 goals away from home in the second half and still lose? sod sort it out before we have to settle for a mid table place! we can score but not defend need a big strong cb for sure and judging by yesterday flint and fontaine ain't the answer! one team in bristol bcfc

12 Aug 2013 21:41:22
City might be interested but can't see us paying the fee quoted for him. Plus why would Bradford sell to a team that will be up there challenging with them, if he is to leave they will sell to a championship team.

Rumours are he stayed on at ashton gate after first game of season to discuss "things" but not sure

Ben (OTIB!)

I don't see City paying any more fees out this summer.

We are likely to get another striker in, but I imagine he will be from the free transfer pool or a loan until January.

This rumour that Wells stayed on in Bristol to talk to SO'D is the stupidest thing I ever heard!

12 Aug 2013 14:09:49
Tony Mowbray has travelled to sweden to watch Tokela Rantie, and David Accam, both in which he hopes to bring to the club to be future 1st team prospects

If this is the guy who plays for malmo, good player fast and skillful ripped hibs apart at easter road

13 Aug 2013 14:52:57
Rantie is going to sign for bournemouth in the coming days

12 Aug 2013 13:57:13
Crystal Palace to sign Australian international Mark Milligan from Melbourne Victory for £900k. Milligan can play central/defensive mid or central defense. Quality player with a load of international experience. Good bit of business by Palace

12 Aug 2013 13:54:04
Cardiff City will try and sign another 2 players before the window closes. Matt Phillips from Blackpool and Jeffrey Montero

2 x wingers? We need a left back ASAP, Declen John just didn't look the part or do the job Saturday, Bellamy wasn't at times with him, I can't see to wingers coming sorry, 1 x winger 1x left back, maybe a nother striker?? sorted ready for the Prem.

Matt Philips is injured until October apparently so I doubt it. Montero is waiting on a bigger club like capoue was so expect to miss out on him aswell.

Matt Phillips Is out with a broken arm so good luck with that

We have Andrew taylor to play LB and John is an up and coming player, Tottenham were after him in january

What about Defoe if available

Need Montero with any luck

12 Aug 2013 13:50:50
Brighton captain Gordon Greer agrees new deal after bid rejected from leeds unied

Good news

13 Aug 2013 06:07:14
That was a cheeky bid from Leeds,
Great that he's staying

Good. He's our best defender.

Thank god you rejected are bid for him he showed first game of season that he can't run and makes to many basic mistakes

Good to old

Would take the lad dunk

12 Aug 2013 13:40:41
list off Keepers Gary Johnson rumoured to be looking at bringing in on loan to cover Marek Stech's injury,
Ben Amos (Man Utd)
Jed Steer (Aston Villa)
Stephen Henderson (West Ham)
Simon Moore (Cardiff)

Plus rumours off a outrageous attempt to bring in Unwanted 37year old Villa Keeper Shay Given on a loan deal until January

You should have paolo gazzaniga off saints. great young keeper had a handful of prem experience and he would have good communication with dan seaborne (ex saint). we already have boruc and davis so will struggle for a place despite being very good

News of Wayne Hennessy on a months loan

12 Aug 2013 18:43:37
very much doubt jed steer will be loaned out this season, he has only just joined Villa and Lambert will want to take a closer look at him and his development. Likely will play some cup games and with Marshall released and Given sure to go, is needed cover for Guzan.

Its wayne hennessy of wolves we are getting to be confirmed Thursday

12 Aug 2013 13:40:36
Jordan Slew has agreed a season long loan deal at Preston North End.

He not here yet

12 Aug 2013 13:13:07
A lot of buzz around Blackpool FC at the moment as it is believed they have made a bid for Oldhams Jose Baxter, which would beat their transfer record

He has a release clause which I would imagine is about 3-500k, since baxter wanted it in his contract

13 Aug 2013 00:59:46
Ex Latics player M;changama signing for Bury FC

Funny this as Blackpool meant to have signed 5 weeks ago so it said on here. getting fed up of all this talk of Baxter being sold, wish they would tell our Chairman first as he knows nothing of any bids for baxter and there hasn't been any.

If you want would cost you at least a million with add ons so go for it if Oyston will pay.

Funny though as tomorrow it will be let's see now who hasn't been mentioned eerrrmmm let's go for Bournemouth to get him should we then go for Barsnley then go for Yeovil then Palace then Derby then that should all the Championship then

Palace aren't in the championship!

Baxter is going I promise you, and i'm a latics fan!

No truth in this rumour a friend is the kitman at blackpool and he told me its just rumours

Load of rubbish, Burnley and Bolton offered way more than us and it was turned down.

Good source at Oldham says he will stay. Release clause may be in his contract but he has Oldham at heart and wants the best move for all concerned. Moving to us (BPOOL) will not happen.

Ah well they tell the kitman everything!, baxter will leave soon to who I don't know but it will be amicable, I def don't want him too, he won't play this weekend for sure they will play the injury card

I have got a horrible feeling he's going. He showed true class against Derby and most certainly there will have been scouts watching him for some time.
The reason I believe he is going is that he has missed training today through a suspect groin injury. ?
He's probably a Blackpool player today, maybe tomorrow, but will be confirmed within the next few days.
Hope I'm wrong, but the cards are against us.
Gaffers. OTID

He is injured anyway carrying a groin strain, just played against Walsall but didn't do well.

Jose is not going anywhere.

Baxter IS a Blackpool player! He was seen outside the stadium yesterday

Funny how he's just been named in the squad for saturdays game then.

12 Aug 2013 13:03:56
Malmö have officially rejected Middlesbrough's opening bid of €1mil for Tokelo Rantie. Mowbray travelled to Sweden to watch Malmö win 1-0 against AIK. Talks ongoing - J. R. M

12 Aug 2013 17:12:00
bad news boro fans rumours coming out of nottingham that mowbray to bring back ishmael miller I hope this is not true

Boro are preparing one last tempting offer for Malmo

Its going to be interesting who the 2 strikers and the defender who Mowbray is looking to bring in are.

I can see why he's after Ross mac because he can play on the wings as well as up front, if Albert or muzzy where injured Ross mac could drop into those positions he will be a great signing also can score goals.

Toleko reimete is like a beneke of villa mould, powerful, fast as tricks would be a good signing but looks like European clubs are in for him.

Roumered were looking at michael keane on loan from Manchester United centre half done really well at leicester last season

Rantie is 5ft 8 in, a bit shorter than bent eke

Rantie is the same type as McCormack except he is right sided so could sub for Adomah. Match made in heaven if we could pull this off. Decent CB and. Couple of premiership loanees and we have a decent team that will compete for a top 6 finish.

And as for the dreamer tht is sayin rantie is like beneke do you kno any think about the game rantie 5. 11 and bags ov speed beneke 6. 2 and nwt like him do some home work pal wolud love him like not going to lie up the boro mogga get welles and leave ross he's poor

Yeah I know what you mean (Exactly the same but Totally different) :-s

So your saying benteke is a 6ft target man, far from it pal, he's got speed, tricks and scores goals.

And your saying reniete isn't that mould of a player

Benteke is 6ft 4 good in the air and strong.

Rantie is 5ft 7 not very good in the air and weak.

They can't be compared

12 Aug 2013 12:37:09
Ipswich Town to bid for Southampton striker Billy Sharp. Mick McCarthy sees him as the 20 goal a season striker Ipswich desperately need, this will be Town's last bit of business this summer.

I thought he was going to Reading.

I thought he was going to Celtic

Cat in hells chance of that happening, he hasn't spent hardly anything this summer doubtful Marcus Evans would sanction this some how!

Shef Wednesday want him to

Fantastic striker would be ideal for town, proven goal scorer, and after his standing ovasion at a difficult time for him, I'm sure we would all make him feel at home.

WE have been after him for years maybe this is the year?

Apparently Bournemouth, Forest and Doncaster as well!

Southampton will only let this happen if it is a straight swap with Aaron Cresswell. They are looking at the left back as cover for the injured Luke Shaw.
Cresswell is valued at £2m, as is Billy Sharp.

Think Bournemouth should be looking at defenders.

You are looking at closer to the £4million for cresswell. And he wouldn't move to be cover. the only way this would happen is if southampton sell shaw. And pay £2m plus billy sharp

I don't think so mcarthy has all the players he wants this transfer window so sharp not coming to use sorry your infos wrong

Well if mm has done all his buisness in this transfer window then Ipswich are in trouble. Bout time Marcus evans put his hand in his pocket!

Is that why we in top half of league then

Top half of the league with 2 games gone and you think that counts for anything. We are always top half after a couple of games

WE are going to be fine this season, solid at the back with a decent keeper, strong midfield but maybe not many goals, we just need someone a bit better than murphy to partner mcgoldrick up front which is what sharp would offer.

Totally agree we need another good striker to partner mcgoldrick or partner him with upfront with Paul taylor. I think these two would make a good strike force.

Maybe mm has been saving the little money he has on one decent striker being billy sharp

Told you all once mm is not signing anyone else in the transfer window let alone billy sharp he said so himself

12 Aug 2013 12:37:04
Celtic, Stoke and Blackburn are all monitoring Wolves striker Leigh Griffiths

Leigh Griffiths is staying at Wolves

Pay up boys , Leigh is committed to Wolves for another two seasons after this one.

Just signed a two year contract extension

13 Aug 2013 12:30:33
@3 the way Wolves are going he may well help you back INTO the football league before his contract runs out.

No way do we want Griffiths he's only proven himself in the SPL and maybe league 1 this season.

12 Aug 2013 11:53:46
arsenal are considering on loaning lyon midfielder yoann gourcuff.

12 Aug 2013 11:49:42
Charlton to sign Lee Camp, Dean Hammond and Rob Hulse.

Would be good except hulse

All this rubbish. We need a top quality creative midfielder or maybe 2 then job done. We will win the Championship.

No, we will not win the league.

We will not be winning the league and we will not be getting into the play-offs this year. We will be looking at consolidation or a relegation battle. Our squad lacks creativity and a finishing touch. If we do play well it will be due to the fact that Morison isn't in the starting 11.

We will not be winning the league and we will not be getting into the play-offs this year. We will be looking at consolidation or a relegation battle. Our squad lacks creativity and a finishing touch. If we do play well it will be due to the fact that Morison isn't in the starting 11.
What does Morrison a centre back, have to do with the two issues you've highlighted that are a Lack of creativity and finishing touch?

Morrison cannot cope with any pressure in the championship and he isn't comfortable on the ball. He panics and lumps it long to no one. He is a liability and puts heaps of pressure on the rest of the defense. To answer your question he doesn't have anything to do with the lack of creativity and finishing but he is a weak link.

I disagree, everyone had a bad game on sat including solly and yann, but Morrison is our best cb, normaly very reliable and wins everything in the air. Our weak link is our midfield, we need someone to partner Jackson. I still think Stephans will do it - green, Stephans, Jackson, harriott - up the addicks 😄

Dervite is our best centre back, the player has strength and power and also doesn't give the ball away as much as Morrison. Morrison is not the player as what he use to be he has definitely lost his touch. It is a downer we've lost our 2 openers but there's a long way to go whether we will be fighting for promotions or battling relegation no one knows. Grinds on me with people that give up on Charlton, lost a game and its the end of the world. The atmosphere and be absolutely S**T sometimes!

12 Aug 2013 11:01:19
Stoke still need at least one winger. No Michael Kightly, but a good winger. Scott Sinclair has been linked recently, but West Brom are after him too. He would be the perfect signing though. Someone else who I think would be good is Junior Hoilett, from QPR? Young, quick and got a great potential. Any chance you reckon?

I feel that any chance of getting hoillet on the cheap or at all have been severely dented by his early good form for QPR, with Rednapp indicating that he is in his plans for this season and beyond.

10 days ago I rekon you could have got him for a decent price. I'd say after his start to the season and with Qpr already letting a lot of players leave it would be difficult to get him without paying a big fee.

Sinclair won't go to stoke he will go to west brom / Everton / or Newcastle he wants to go to west brom if we can offer perm deal

I never said to get him cheap. I'd say he's worth £8m ish. And I'm sure QPR could do with the money as well

Andrew Driver Houston Dynamo the obvious answer.

We might aswell get thomas back than sinclair, not a lot between em, who makes these awful decisions

The price isn't QPR's problems its ours, money is not being thrown at the dispersal of hughes so that's the reason we are all mentioning that the deal won't happen now because he will be too expensive FOR US.

How do you know Sinclair won't go Stoke? If you know the slightest thing about football, you should know anything can happen. West Brom are favourites to sign him now, but it doesn't mean they will sign him

I would love to see stoke sign either of them but I cannot see it happening however another winger I would like to see us sign is garath McCleary.

If you bid £8million you'd get him I was thinking more like £5million. i'm not sure after his exploits at Qpr Hughes will find himself well backed by Stoke. Maybe in january if he gives the board the confidence to do so. Back to Hoilett although Qpr do have money he's on big wages and a fair offer would probably be excepted.

If Sinclair does not go to west brom he will go to Everton not stoke

Sinclair will go to whoever pays the money. WBA seen to be relying on loan deals and Everton rarely spend money without first selling. Stoke have spent £3million so far and they will wait as usual until the window is about to close and then see who is available at a sensible price.

12 Aug 2013 10:52:47
Wigan have offered Bradford 1.2 million plus Lee Nicholls for Nahki Wells

Where do you people come up with these, honestly. Nahki is going nowhere. Phil Parkinson is not going to just take a player given to him by a club. He's very selective over who he brings in.

12 Aug 2013 20:26:14
Not so stupid as it sounds pal, PP indicated an interest in Nicholls and we do need another keeper. At that price it is no risk for Wigan even if Nahki can't cut it in the championship

Nicholls won't be going anywhere at the moment as he's second choice. Although I expect to see him off on loan at some point in the near future.

So we are going to swap a striker for a keeper?!

On yer Bike!

Nobody said anything about a straight swap. But. Wells would be a great signing for Wigan.

Please read what people take time to write.

No-one said a swap of a striker for a keeper.

Cash plus keeper was the point in question, we need a keeper as we only have Jonny Mac at present, the extra cash could be used to bring in another striker who can also play off the equal talent in the team in James Hanson, Wells will only be half the player he is with us elsewhere unless he plays alongside a workhorse like Hanson.

12 Aug 2013 10:56:13
Lee camp to have a meeting today over personal terms and wages meeting with mark lawn and Phil Parkinson

12 Aug 2013 10:22:31
Burnley are set to offer Sylvan Ebanks Blake a 2 year deal to sign on a free transfer from Wolves to replace Charlie Austin

He has a broken leg?

Would rather have sako

Is there a McDonalds near the training ground?

Doubt it, he's out to October.

You can have Sako. No vision or team ethic, just runs at players and can be greedy when all he needs to do is pass the ball.

12 Aug 2013 09:41:54
Neil danns will shortly be unveiled a sa bristol city player

Can't see how he would fit into our wage structure! Was on the bench at weekend, so would appreciate regular football.

Probably too good for us, but he played very well for us last year and would be an excellent signing.

Would not fit into the wage structure as has been said also we do not need any more Central Midfielders we want/need a CB to replace Fontaine or a back up to Williams if he is the replacement, another striker and a player who can play wide on either flank to replace Albert. If Danns fitted the bill for any of those 3 there might have been some mileage in that rumour.

We could throw in Kilkenny and Fontaine as part of the deal, job done!

He didn't want to extend his loan as he wants to be up north don't think he will sign now

Chuck in elliott aswell

Killkenny was in the casino in Millenium Square "enjoying himself" on Sunday night, pretty shameful seeing as he was subbed at halftime that day at 3-0 down.

Killkenny can go where he wants aslong as he stays away from ashton gate, He's supposed to be a creative midfielder but he couldn't pass water let alone a football.

Kilkenny is creative! For the opposition! Hope sod learnt on Sunday not to play him.

12 Aug 2013 09:20:58
i don't know that I should be saying this it could get me in trouble but as an employee at carrow road I was told that there is definately going to be no more transfers in this window chris is very pleased with the squad he has.
sorry for smashing any hopeful rumours but let's see how we get on this season with what players we have.

12 Aug 2013 08:47:29
N'Guessen and Obika to sign for Swindon in time for Saturdays game. Nile Ranger also on the radar. However the outcome of his court case will dictate whether or not he receives an offer.

Would love this to happen, Obika is capable of scoring 15+ goals. N'Guessen would be a great addition as he can play either on the wing or upfront.

Not sure we need a player like Ranger at the club. He does more bad than good and swindon could do with someone more reliable than him.

Obits looked useless on the occasions I have seen him, at both Swindon and for Spurs. Hardly the stunning signing Jed was promising on Saturday night.

Obika a bit to late signed for charlton

Is that why he played for Spurs this week then? Charlton are trying to get him, key word TRYING!

Obika has NOT signed for Charlton.

12 Aug 2013 08:37:12
Ross McCormack set for middlesbrough talks after Leeds reluctantly accepted boro's increased 1.5m rising to 2m with add ons bid, they have earmarked the money for 2 new signings, one being a winger currently playing in the championship, boro boss tony Mowbray is hoping to make it a double striker swoop with the addition of malmo forward tokelo rantie, a 1m fee has been agreed with the Swedish club

12 Aug 2013 11:23:30
I recon the earmarked money for the winger was meant for Leeds, not Boro, now that I've read the post again!

12 Aug 2013 11:15:17
This would be a great but of business for the Boro, I can't see use earmarking any money for another winger though we have plenty of cover in that department in Adomah, carayol, park, Halliday & ledesma. I'd like to see the back of haroun and if Hoyte goes to millwall for a few pennies we should bring in an all round defender to replace him keep plenty of options at the back. Seb Hines back in training too.

The strikers we need then get main and possibly Williams out on Loan for the season

No they haven't. Malmo have rejected 1 million euro.

Before people ask where the money is from, it is from the 11+ players wages we released, as well as not forgetting Gibson is very very wealthy.

Do we really want a player that doesn't want to play for us?

Defo need a striker. I wonder what Uve ****es is doing now, could do a job i'm sure!

£1m Bid for Malmo striker rejected! Google it!

Mate i'm sorry this is a Non story unless the figure is more like £3m, why would we sell him when we would then need to buy another striker of similar quality, plus a winger and a defender. we won't get all that for £1.5m, he is going nowhere at that price.

I was told of a new bid for McCormack he's not worth £2mil but if he gets the goals I won't be complaining. Like the look of Rantie, but Malmo have rejected a €1 mil bid by us.

McCormack will not sign for boro as Leeds are asking for a big fee. Plus, he's not good enough anyway. We need someone like Maynard and vaz te. Even this tokelo rantie isn't good enough. The defender we are chasing is Nathan ake

Malmo have turned down the bid as their transfer window has closed and they wouldn't be able to find a replacement. Bid was 1 million euros

I cannot believe we are going to spend that much money on mccormack unbelievable

mccormack deal turned down so has the deal for rantie a host of clubs chasing him not just boro I have a feeling mowbray is looking at other players to put other clubs of our scent success mogga UTB

Bid rejected. Move on Mowbray!

No leeds havent accepted a bid for ross, its on ssn that the bids been rejected, ross is going nowhere why would he go to boro be realistic!

The new bid from Boro for Ross has been rejected, again give up Boroyour wasting your time

Sorry to the Leeds fans, but there must be something to this story. McDermott and McCormack have both came out and said nothing is happening, yet Boro are still pursuing a deal. Boro wouldn't keep trying unless they had been told by either McCormack, his agent or Leeds that a deal was possible. Personally I don't think we should bid more than £1.5 million. Same goes for Rantie. I would love to see Maynard and Ake in Boro shirts. UTB.

Don't get why Leeds Fans are this bothered? If you get 2 million for him you'd be laughing all the way to the bank. Not even your best player!

In the Bates era, McCormack would've been sold for 1. 3M and Leeds would've signed a CB and a winger on free transfers. I'm hoping those days are over.

I don't think it's fair to rate / value McCormack on goals alone. He creates chances for others and he's the guy on Leeds that defenses focus on. I think Leeds would rate him at around 2. 5 to 3M, and there's probably an additional cost to rivals in the same division. He also still has 2 years left on his contract.

He definitely is our best player, we already need a winger and a defender, which we are struggling to obtain, and the small fee for McCormack will not help us capture the CB and winger we already need PLUS a like for like replacement of McCormack. Also why would you want to get rid of a player who is such a fan favourite and shows passion to the club. Not all about money.

McCormack will leave if middlesbrough go to 1. 5 with addons attached to the deal

Some of the posts from LU fans border on panic. With or without McCormack this is a year for rebuilding and we are going nowhere. Next year is our year so let Boro pay over the odds for Ross.

Ross McCormack can get 20 goals one season and season after 10 so he could pay off

Southampton set to renew interest in Roma forward. Pablo osvaldo.

Try one more time then move on I say. time is ticking to sighn a new striker

We have heard all this before, it would be nice if it was true. Ozvaldo is fast and strong, so could be good for us.

It's not renewing interest, we weren't interested in the first place. Pochettino confirmed we hadn't made an approach when the media made this up last time.

I see earlier that Roma are apparently pushing Osvaldo to join Saints.

This is true indeed. His Club have accepted a bid from us (SFC) its now all down to him

He doesn't want to play for us and has a history of causing trouble so why get him?

MP will sort him out.

Chris Weale (Shrewsbury) back to Yeovil where he started his career

Heard that too - Anyon is good enough to take over, Shrews need the cash and Yeovil need a keeper

Absolute tosh. the only quality player we have

Won't happen he is going to want to be number 1 for more than a few months while stech is injured

He believes that he can keep the number 1 shirt as a keeper is never the same after a broken hand.

Sorry Yeovl fans, but you can forget about this one. It's not true.

Weale's contract is up at the end of the season and Shrewsbury need to get money for him - expect it to happen this week.

Wayne Hennesey is signing a months loan at Yeovil

Already agreed terms, announced Tue or Wed this week

Weale not going anywhere Yeovil just signed wayne hennesey from wolves on a season long loan fact

This week

So relieved it is not Weale, would have been a major backwards step in my opinion

Why would they want henessey and weale

"Yeovil just signed wayne hennesey from wolves on a season long loan fact"
Errr, where's the fact in that statement exactly? It's on an initial 1 month loan. FACT!

Heard David Holdsworth is in being considered for the shrewsbury job?

Wayne Hennasy is not going to Yeovil, he is injured again

Hennesey injured - Weale deal was to be in January but will now be tomorrow

Holdsworth? Turner is nowhere near the sack. there's no vacancy to consider him for.

Rafa Benitez has meet up with Torres representatives to bring him to Napoli, after the good times they had at Liverpool and believes he can make him great again.

Just like he made him Great at Chelsea?

{Ed 003's Note - I did ask the other day about posters registering to stop the bull going on, thanks for those that did, from now on a lot less replies will get through if you can't even put a name to your opinions}

Iv never really understood why people get annoyed when people post without a name. Surely it makes no difference what so ever, a rumour or opinion is still just that regardless. And most people probably don't name themselves to stop themselves being singled out for abuse by some of the persons that are on here regulalary.
